Description

ImageImage
Name: Amos Weaver

Age: Twenty-two.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Amos is a tall man with a muscular build, clearly being someone who spends time in the gym. His exact height is somewhere between 6'3" and 6'4", Amos never actually bothering to measure it exactly. His build is a fairly large one, and is lined with muscles. Amos weighs in at around 180 pounds. Although he will claim this weight is entirely muscle, his body is certainly not lacking in fat. This is most obvious around his middle, which is rather squishy. Because of this, Amos hates people hugging him. He's rather vain.

Being the type of guy to keep his hair long, Amos is rarely ever seen with hair shorter than jaw length. He just finds that he looks rather stupid with a short hair cut. Amos' hair is dark brown in colour, and has just the slightest wave to it. It is often very shiny due to the amount of hair spray Amos uses to keep it fairly flat. Amos has very dark blue eyes that often appear to be almost black in colour. They are round in shape, and surprisingly large when compared to the rest of his face. He has fairly pale skin, and there is just the slightest hint of a stubble growing on his jaw.

Secret: Throughout the entire length of high school as well as a couple years of college, Amos was a bully. He's not afraid to admit that now, although he does feel incredibly regretful. The fact that he was a bully is not his secret. Rather, his secret is what he did as a bully. Amos was incredibly popular throughout high school, and with his popularity came arrogance. He would often tease and torture any kid who was uncool, and made their lives living hell. Everyone in school feared him, and, at the time, Amos liked this. One day, though, he went to far. He was bullying one of the most unpopular kids in the school during his first year in college, a kid who was unpopular for no reason in particular, and then Amos told the kid to go kill himself. Amos hadn't actually meant it, it was just one of the first things that popped into his head, but later that day, he received an anonymous text to come to a large bridge spanning across one of the main rivers. He arrived just in time to see the kid throw himself off of the bridge. Nobody ever associated Amos with the kid's death, purely because he was bullied by so many other kids as well, so Amos got away without any punishment. He tried to ignore this event, but, obviously, that was impossible for him to do, and he still deeply regrets it.

Background: Amos was born to a wealthy family, and had successful parents who taught him that he should always be the one in control of his own life. Throughout his childhood, he was always the best at everything, and everyone looked up to him. Soon, his enjoyment of being respected changed to something else: arrogance. Amos would always put himself higher than everyone else, and would treat most people like dirt. The ones who pleased him, he would treat well, and the ones who he didn't like, he would put through living hell. This attitude to life made him become the biggest bully in the school, but also one of the most popular kids, for he had a lot of money, and anyone who he favored would get some of that money.

When Amos entered college, he quickly fell in with the 'popular' crowd, as well as with the bullies. He soon discovered there was one kid in the school that nobody liked and the bullies went out of their way to tease. Of course, Amos joined in. Every day, he would come up with new ways to be cruel to the kid. One day, he said the first thing that popped into his head, which was to tell the kid to go kill himself. He hadn't actually meant it, but the kid did as Amos said, and threw himself off a bridge while Amos was watching. Since so many kids had been bullying him, there was not a single person who got into trouble, and the only punishment Amos ended up getting was a deep regret. Ever since then, he has become a much better person, but is still haunted by his past actions.

Personality: Amos is an arrogant jerk who appears to have no cares for anyone but himself. He is incredibly proud and vain, and very narcissistic. In general, he is someone who most people really would rather not be around. He is excellent at manipulating other people to do his bidding, and is a great fan of blackmail. He is wealthy, and knows this, which makes him very dangerous indeed. He is easily annoyed, and annoying Amos is the fastest way to make your life completely awful.

Despite his cruel outside appearance, Amos actually isn't that bad of a person anymore. Sure, earlier on in his life he was completely rude and cruel, but now he has become a bit more sensitive. This doesn't mean that he has immediately become all sensitive and touchy-feely and donates to charities every minute of his life, it just means that now he knows when enough is enough. If he sees that someone is incredibly upset, he won't do much to comfort them, but he also won't do anything to make them feel worse, which is an improvement on his past personality.

Other: None.

So begins...

Music blasted through the air as Amos cruised down the road in his black '62 Cadillac Eldorado. It was hard rock, with a pounding beat and heavy guitars, the sort of music that nobody would ever believe Amos actually listened to. Most of the songs appeared to have some rather strong gothic influences, considering the lyrics - or, to be more precise, a translation of the lyrics, since they were in German - were incredibly depressing. Most people never believed Amos when he claimed to listen to such music, but, Amos didn't really care if people believed him or not. He liked the music, and that was more than enough for him.

As he drove through the large metal gates of the manor, he slowly nodded in approval. "Nice," he murmured under his breath, looking at the towering building. "So Cailin managed to find something decent after all." He pulled up in the driveway in front of the house, parking his car close to the door. Since he had owned the Eldorado since his sixteenth birthday, Amos had gotten incredibly good at parking it even though the car was practically long enough to span the width of the continent. The Eldorado was currently parked perfectly, something that took quite a bit of skill.

Amos got out of the car, making sure that the door was locked before he strolled up to the door of the mansion. Despite knowing that he was rather late, Amos was in no hurry. He never was. Amos liked to arrive at places when he wanted to, which mean that he was often incredibly late. He didn't care.

"Hello, anyone home?!" He called upon strutting into the large house, looking around. Upon seeing the group of people standing in the entrance hall, he walked over to them. "Hey guys," he said, sounding surprisingly nice. Of course, these people were his friends, and they were the ones who only ever saw his good side, so it made sense that he was currently acting like a fairly decent human being.

Another arrival. Another distraction. Cay smiled brightly, clapping her hands together when she caught sight of Amos. "Took you long enough!" She teased, playfully placing her hands on her hips. Part of her had urged to go and leap on him, but previous experience, though it had been years, had taught her to stay put. Their dear friend had always been a little touchy about others getting in his space. Particularly, hugs. The thought dimmed her bright grin, but it did nothing to affect her excitement to have all the people she held dear in one spot. Nothing could take that from her. Even the creepiness of the manor she had picked. It was beautiful, but the remote location gave it a bad video game feel. She shrugged off the thought, opening her arms with a mock grandeur like she was a politician opening some great building.

"Welcome to the Teriah Manor, kids, I will be your tour guide, your friend, and your drinking buddy for this trip! However, I am not the maid. Any messes you morons make are your own problems. We're all adults here." Cay stuck out her tongue, motioning for her growing group of friends to follow her. There was only one of their friends left yet to arrive, so she figured it was a good time to get them out of the foyer and show them around the giant building. "You can follow me, or you can get lost trying to find the bathroom tonight. Your choice." Cailin turned on her heel, making motions with her hands for them to follow. Whether any of them actually followed was really their choice.

"If you're gonna ignore me, bedrooms are upstairs!" Cay yanked the small paper with the floor plan on it out of her pocket. The one thing the caretaker had given her as far as instructions. She peered at it, then started towards the kitchen. "Big kitchen, terrible pipes." She stated, standing at the doorway for a moment, examining it. It was nicely sized, though the decor was sort of outdated, and the gas stove needed a serious upgrade. "So don't mind if you hear this noise in the night..." Cay wandered towards the sink, turning the water on and off, a loud, groaning noise echoing through the house. "See? Evil, angry pipes."

Whether she was talking to herself at this point was irrelevant. She made a point out of sweeping through the other rooms. If you faced the stairs in the foyer, the kitchen and dining room where on the left. The dining room was connected to the kitchen, with a doorway that led to the basement just a few feet down the hall. On the right was the study, the gathering room that had a huge fireplace, and one of the main bathrooms. It had a shower, thankfully updated, and was big enough that someone (if they wanted to) could fit an entire living room set comfortable inside. It, like the other bathrooms, had a full vanity and room for multiple people (why?) to move around in. Good enough.

Cay eventually ended the short tour, distracted by her own things as they were still scattered at the base of the stairs.

"Alright guys, let's pick rooms! Don't complain if the person your bedroom shares the bathroom with uses all the hot water. We're adults now, we're not in camp." She stuck out her tongue, moving to pick up her things and start up the large staircase.
