Another arrival. Another distraction. Cay smiled brightly, clapping her hands together when she caught sight of Amos. "Took you long enough!" She teased, playfully placing her hands on her hips. Part of her had urged to go and leap on him, but previous experience, though it had been years, had taught her to stay put. Their dear friend had always been a little touchy about others getting in his space. Particularly, hugs. The thought dimmed her bright grin, but it did nothing to affect her excitement to have all the people she held dear in one spot. Nothing could take that from her. Even the creepiness of the manor she had picked. It was beautiful, but the remote location gave it a bad video game feel. She shrugged off the thought, opening her arms with a mock grandeur like she was a politician opening some great building.
"Welcome to the Teriah Manor, kids, I will be your tour guide, your friend, and your drinking buddy for this trip! However, I am not the maid. Any messes you morons make are your own problems. We're all adults here." Cay stuck out her tongue, motioning for her growing group of friends to follow her. There was only one of their friends left yet to arrive, so she figured it was a good time to get them out of the foyer and show them around the giant building. "You can follow me, or you can get lost trying to find the bathroom tonight. Your choice." Cailin turned on her heel, making motions with her hands for them to follow. Whether any of them actually followed was really their choice.
"If you're gonna ignore me, bedrooms are upstairs!" Cay yanked the small paper with the floor plan on it out of her pocket. The one thing the caretaker had given her as far as instructions. She peered at it, then started towards the kitchen. "Big kitchen, terrible pipes." She stated, standing at the doorway for a moment, examining it. It was nicely sized, though the decor was sort of outdated, and the gas stove needed a serious upgrade. "So don't mind if you hear this noise in the night..." Cay wandered towards the sink, turning the water on and off, a loud, groaning noise echoing through the house. "See? Evil, angry pipes."
Whether she was talking to herself at this point was irrelevant. She made a point out of sweeping through the other rooms. If you faced the stairs in the foyer, the kitchen and dining room where on the left. The dining room was connected to the kitchen, with a doorway that led to the basement just a few feet down the hall. On the right was the study, the gathering room that had a huge fireplace, and one of the main bathrooms. It had a shower, thankfully updated, and was big enough that someone (if they wanted to) could fit an entire living room set comfortable inside. It, like the other bathrooms, had a full vanity and room for multiple people (why?) to move around in. Good enough.
Cay eventually ended the short tour, distracted by her own things as they were still scattered at the base of the stairs.
"Alright guys, let's pick rooms! Don't complain if the person your bedroom shares the bathroom with uses all the hot water. We're adults now, we're not in camp." She stuck out her tongue, moving to pick up her things and start up the large staircase.
