Two bands on the rise of a ruthless music scene, formerly competitors, are now forced to tour and work together against a backdrop of rivalries, romance, and changing relationships. How it goes and how it ends...that remains to be seen.

Introduction

Tampa, Florida--long regarded as one of the world's most vibrant and productive metal scenes, the city has produced some the foremost metal bands in the world, from Death and Deicide to Cynic and Atheist. It continues to do so today, but the regional metal scene of Tampa and Florida is one that is unforgiving and difficult to succeed in. Bands arise, showing promise and potential to survive and create in the world of music, only to fall apart in the face of the pressure of competition against countless other bands with the same potential to prosper. Many will try to make it to success in this merciless rat race, where groups must compete against one another for the best record deal and the best performance slots. In the end, only a select few bands will make a name for themselves in this world, while the rest fade into obscurity, joining the hordes of other attempts in the pages of history, the sagas of bands that could have been--and ultimately never were.

In this ruthless scene two bands are on the rise, garnering both critical acclaim and popular fame on the regional metal scene. These two groups have competed against one another for the entirety of their existence, right up to the point that they signed on with two different metal labels and began performing professionally on a large scale. They may be sworn rivals against one another due to a previous experience, or maybe they haven't even heard of one another, but in this setting, the general idea is that all other bands on the metal scene are competition.

Thus, it is a surprise when, in a sudden move for publicity and financial gain, the two bands' labels forge a contract to have both rising bands tour together for a string of performances throughout the region. In other words, for the next month or so, two bands that previously saw one another as competitors, maybe even worse, are going to have to travel together, get along with one another, and play music together, against a backdrop of rivalries, conflicts, and new relationships, both within and outside their respective bands.

The Bands

[Band 1]

The sound, genre, and various details concerning the first band has yet to be determined, and will be decided by those who sign up for roles in the band. Changes can be made to the set up as well; this is just a basic set up that can be solidified once more people join.

Rhythm Guitarist: Adelaide Ether, played by Krisuvial
Lead Guitarist/Singer: Kenny Sohda, played by affliction
Bassist: Rosemarie Ridgewayne, played by Softdusk
Drummer: Benjamin 'Wraith' Houghman, played by Nykizta

Katori

Image

Katori is an up-and-coming technical death metal band which was founded by two siblings. They play a style of death metal that blends high-speed brutality with prodigal technicality and influences of fusion and jazz; their actual sound and instrumentation is similar to that of later Death. They are known to utilise unusual time signatures, sudden changes in speed and time signature, and chromatic, atonal progressions.

Lead Guitarist/Back Up Vocals: Jesse 'Wolf' Alexander, played by Infernwolf
Lead Guitarist: Kaylee 'Faithless' Carthon, played by Nykizta
Bassist/Singer: Izzie 'Cynic' Haniya, played by :Nagato:
Drummer: SilentRain

Birth Name [quite straightforward]:

Pseudonyms or Stage Names [essentially any name they have adopted in lieu of what their actual birth name is, whether it is a nickname, stage name, or something they had their name legally changed to]:

Birthdate [they should be over eighteen at least]:

Role [what instrument they play in the band; include other instruments they play as well, but bear in mind that I will be quite sceptical if your character professionally plays lead guitar, but in his spare time is a maestro with the violin, the trumpet, the bass, the drums, is quite excellent with the flute, the clarinet, the piano/keyboard, and the trombone, and has some experience with the kazoo]:

Appearance [include a picture, anime is acceptable but a real image is far more preferred and will make you more likely to be accepted :P Also include a description of your character's appearance, including aspects that may not be in the image provided, and what clothes they can typically be seen to wear]:

Personality [can be a brief run down or as detailed as you like, but it should give the other RPers a good idea of how your character is. Remember, they've been in a band together for some time now, so they know one another's personalities quite well]:

Likes and Dislikes [Include favourite music genres or music genres they avoid, if any, as well as major things they like and dislike]:

Playing Style [basically, whether they're super technical--probable if you're in a technical death metal band :v--or rely more on speed and aggression, or emotion, what kind of sound they use--that kind of thing. Doesn't have to be super detailed, nor do you have to know all kinds of things about the instrument your character plays. If they write music, you can include that here too, but that's optional]:

History [if you want, you can include only what your character tells of their history, or any 'twists' they make of their own on their life story, or you can just straight up write their life story. Just avoid having your character having been an orphan whose parents died right in front of them when they were children, cycled through various abusive foster parents, managed to break out of it through inhumanly strong will, and simultaneously became a maestro musician in the process, while somehow also remaining a kind, generous, happy-go-lucky kid]:

Instrument [simple, a description of the instrument they play for the most part in the band, an image would be good as well]:

Rules

- Infernwolf and I are the GMs of this RP. While we won't lord over this RP like iron-fisted dictators, we will enforce the rulers and ensure everyone has a say in the direction of the RP. When we tell you to adjust your behaviour or posting, then you're going to have to do it...we won't do so without a good reason, however.
- In terms of reservations, reserving a character is not a guarantee you will get that spot. If you see a spot is reserved, you should feel free to submit a CS anyway if you like (yours might be better :P), and even if you don't get that particular spot because the one who reserved had a good CS, you can still alter your character and take another spot.
- Swearing is, of course, permitted. This is a realistic, modern RP, and people in modern times swear. So if your character just can't lay off the f-bombs, well, that's how your character is, and that's how you're gonna write for your character :v
- Romance is permitted as well, obviously. It adds drama, makes for good plot, builds interactions, all that fun stuff. Just remember to keep it realistic--so don't have two characters who meet for the first time and, the next day, are madly in love and dating one another. And, this should be a given, know when to utilise a handy dandy time skip :v
- We don't expect to have to break out a dictionary at every other word, nor do we expect monolithic posts that dwarf the Lord of the Rings with every post. But we do expect literacy. So if your profile and posts are so grammatically broken we can't read any of the sentences, every other word is misspelt beyond recognition, and you apparently have yet to hear of the concepts of capitalisation and punctuation...steer clear of this RP :v
- Everyone's voice should be heard in this RP, and everyone has a say in the direction and general plotline of the RP. If you have an idea, don't be afraid to put it out there.
- Be sure you're having fun. If we find out you're not, we'll hunt you down.

:D

Even through the dark, tinted windows of the hotel bar and lounge, it could still be seen that the sun had long since fallen below the horizon and the hours of night had overcome the city of Tampa, Florida, where this rather affluent bar, attached to a similarly rather high-class hotel, was located. Indeed, it was now nearing the hour of half past eight...or so Izzie Haniya, the woman also known as 'Cynic', currently seated at the bar, judged it to be. Normally, this would not be her first choice when it came to selecting a bar for a drink (or several) in the evening, if only because normally she wouldn't be able to afford so much as a drink in all likeliness. Then again, normally, she would not be staying at so affluent a hotel as this one. Never one with much of a mind for business, to the best of Izzie's knowledge, the accommodations for Katori, as one of the headliners of the concert, were being paid for by the organisers of the concert...or was it the record label? Whatever it was, the band's hotel fees, including, most importantly, the booze, was being paid for. Who it was didn't really matter to her--it wasn't Izzie.

Compared with the more conservatively, rather more well-dressed patrons currently partaking in an evening drink at the bar, Izzie stood out like a sore thumb. She was used to that. The bassist and lead singer of the technical death metal band Katori wore a leather jacket studded with spikes and chains, a copper bullet belt around her waist (that wasn't something people in general wore these days, frankly), spiked bracelets at her wrists...in general, not the kind of thing you wore to this kind of bar if you...well, weren't Izzie. A sleeveless Carcass shirt clung tightly to the taut muscles of her abdomen, the band's classic logo emblazoned across the black surface of the shirt; Izzie was pretty sure nobody of the type who could afford to stay at this hotel on their own had ever heard, or heard of, Carcass.

Anyway, she didn't give a shit if they thought she looked out of place. She could only say, just wait 'till the rest of the band gets here for 'out of place'.

At least, maybe the rest of the band would come down. Or maybe, as would be typical, Izzie was the only one of them who would actually see fit to go down to the bar and start drinking the evening before a big concert. Jesse might, all things considered; he wasn't altogether different from his sister for the most part. Lee was probably too intelligent to do something like that, and she was probably going to come down just to tell Izzie doing so was retarded; at which point Izzie might tell her to fuck off, Lee might retaliate, and things might sorta go... 'downhill' from there. Well, truth be told, that had only happened once, and Izzie had been thoroughly drunk at the time, and therefore clearly could not be held accountable for her actions. As for Danny...hell, he might end up spacing out and just wandering into the bar, Izzie thought with a small smirk. Anyone else and it would have sounded like a definite exaggeration. But Danny really was just one of those people who was liable to be walking along, get lost in his own thoughts, and just walk right into the bar without noticing.

They were an unusual bunch united by one thing: they were all some of the finest musicians Izzie knew. Izzie was willing to bet Jesse could put the guitarist of any one of the bands participating in the upcoming concert to immediate shame, and Lee was, for all her blunt nature and occasional 'difficulties' with Izzie, one of the best technical guitarists Izzie knew of, and therefore perfect for Katori. As for Danny, Izzie's nickname for him was 'the Atomic Clock' just because he could keep up such an accurate and complex rhythm at ridiculously fast speeds. Izzie was firmly of the opinion (or rather, she would tell you flat-out as a fact) that when it came to technical metal Katori had just about the best group of players in the entire state.

As for other bands--Izzie had heard rumour (admittedly, rarely being one to pay attention to what anyone around her said that didn't involve her or her music, she could not ascertain if it was true) that the other headliner, The Instinct was at the same hotel. She hadn't seen any sign of anyone else who looked like they were in a metal band, and she'd only ever once seen a picture of the members of The Instinct; what she had heard of their music was not the kind of thing she typically listened to. They were, however, as it stood, one of the biggest metal bands in Florida today; what Katori was to the current death metal scene in Florida, they were to the rapidly rising popularity of nu metal and metalcore in Florida. Their importance to the genre's spread through the Florida metal scene, and in general to the massive metal community in Florida, was demonstrated by the fact that they were headlining such a large concert alongside Katori.

Well, this should go well... she mused to herself as she finished off the rest of the contents of the bottle. Somehow, before every show, she starting thinking of how things could go wrong. One of the things that came with being as pessimistic and cynical as the woman whose stage name was, aptly, 'Cynic'. Right now, though, she was more pre-occupied with silently drinking. And hoping maybe a brawl would break out in the bar so that something halfway entertaining would happen--though in a place like this that was hoping against all reason. Hell, someone so much as getting slapped would probably be talk for years to come in a place like this, where the number of fights was most likely completely inversely proportional to the amount any other place Izzie frequented saw in a day. Normally she would have been more than happy to oblige and show these pansies what a real fight could be like (since their idea of a barfight was probably something along the lines of smacking one another across the face with a napkin and then turning to leave indignantly), but for once she was gonna think it through; doing so would probably just get Katori kicked off the bill. Not something she wanted happening right now.

Brushing her hair aside, she glanced towards the entrance to the bar and lounge. Still the only people who entered or left were...well, not Katori, that was for sure, and most likely not The Instinct. This is the most boring goddamn bar I've ever had to get a drink at, she mused silently as she turned wearily to order another drink. Izzie missed the bars where you could get drunk, call someone a series of unintelligible insults, and then start a fistfight and it wouldn't even be considered unusual. Around here that'd probably be the kind of thing people would talk about incredulously for years.

In his hotel room upstairs, Kenny rests back on the bed after a long and scrutinising sound test session, with himself being the judge. After a few minutes he gets back up, and packs away his effects pedal board, satisfied that his setup for the concert will be perfect and manageable. Finished clearing, he heads towards the bedside table, where a bottle of bourbon sits. Come to papa... He unscrews the lid, takes a swig, gulps it down and exhales. The blank expression on his face suggests he was intending to do something else, but it has come below drinking on his list of priorities....

Ahh. Setlist. Sitting down, he begins to layout a plan for the gig, listing a number of songs in any old order, but starting and ending with the most popular songs. A few minutes later, and he has finished. Just need to give this to the lighting guy, and we'll be set. He puffs, out of boredom, and his mind immediately begins to wander back to drink.

To the bar! No excuses needed, he leaves his room, and makes his way down to the hotel bar, dressed in dark, stonewashed jeans, a dark shirt with fake fraying on the sleeves and seams, and jet-black 'etnies'. The bar seems pretty quiet. Either that, or it's just way too civilized for his liking. At a corner table, he notices a woman dressed out of place, as though she was going to a thrash somewhere.

Bells ringing, he thinks back to the rumours of the other headliner act being here. He hadn't given it a moment's thought earlier, but this was a chance to scout the 'competition', not there was any. From what he'd heard of Katori (which wasn't very much), they were just like any other death metal band, screaming at the top of their lungs, for no reason whatsoever. The Carcass tee is also an indicator of some link to a metal following, especially such a long disbanded group like Carcass.

With a slight smirk to himself, he turns to the bartender, and orders a double of Jack over ice. His thirst now quenchable, he sits down at another table, waiting for the rest of his band to show up - they always do when they don't have to pay for it.

Rose knocked on Kenny's door, planning on asking him if he needed any help filling out the papers to give to the stage manager. Honestly Rose thought he could get the papers done on her own but she was bored out of her mind. And she was nervous about the performance, she needed something to settle her nerves, and usually doing busy work like paperwork for The Instinct.

The Instinct was the band she played bass for, it was steadily getting more and more popular in the metal scene in Tampa, Florida. Rose was happy to be a part of it not only because it was popular but because she had met Kenny, Ace, and Benji, people who she probably wouldn't have met any other way. Rose actually had fun with them, drinking cheap beer and practicing songs that they had written themselves. She smiled to herself at the memory.

But knowing Kenny he would be down at the bar right now, probably hitting on some random girl who's name he would forget the next day. Maybe I'm exaggerating but honestly I wouldn't exactly put it beneath him she thought as she pressed the button on the elevator that was marked 'L' for Lobby where the bar was also located. The elevator filled with cheesy pop music from 2007, if this hotel was as expensive as she had heard from the doorman the other day than they could at least afford music that she listened to when she was 15 and actually listened to this auto tuned crap.

The doors opened and she made her way to the bar, noticing Kenny's long black hair and obnoxiously attractive voice as he ordered his drink. She leaned against the counter and beckoned the bartender over to her "I'll have a bloody mary" luckily, the bartender nodded and didn't ask for ID. Rose pushed her blonde hair out of her face and sat down next to Kenny,

"Hey Kenny" She sighed "Did you get the test sessions and set lists done?"

Lee grumbled as she rolled around on her bed. For all sane reasons, she should not be trying to sleep. However, throw a headache bordering on a migraine into the mix, and that's was generally Lee's instant reaction, largely motivated by damaged control as well. Lee wasn't the most pleasant of people on a good day. Now she had a headache and couldn't sleep. The world should be frightened.

Finally rolling up into a sitting position on the side of the bed, she growled irritably to herself as she yanked on clothes. Lee didn't like drink. It didn't really effect her like most people. It either sent her into a raging bitchfit, which no one wants, or sent her to bed. She was crossing her fingers for the latter as she pulled on her plain, black hoodie, lined with white-gray fur. Shuffling to the door, she finally paused and realized how completely quiet it was. With a shiver, Lee hurried out the door and down the hall toward the elevator. Silence freaked her out a bit. There should always be some kind of music, or at least nonsensical futzing around with instruments. Ah, shit. She'd forgotten her wallet and iPhone. Whatever. She had a feeling she and her band would stick out in a fancy-ass place like this, and this crap was supposed to be free. She'd just pitch a fit if they gave her shit.

When she finally reached ground floor, growling at the stupidly high pitched ding of the elevator, she walked towards, then into the bar there. She instantly spotted Izzie, groaning to herself. If the booze had the opposite effect than desired, it was going to be an interesting night. Lee walked over to the bar to order some random fruity drink, when she noticed two someones who didn't quite fit the average customer in the bar. Probably kids from the other band, The Instinct or some shit like that. It made sense that the label would put them in the same hotel, not that she cared. They looked kinda... Fluffy compared to Katori.

As soon as her drink was ready, she snatched it up and walked over to Izzie's table. Taking a gulp from her drink and making a face, Lee set down her drink and planted herself in a chair across from Izzie without a word.

"This is too fucking fancy... -What the fuck is this?"

Danny had been wandering his hotel room in which he had been given to stay in aimlessly. He studied the little quirks and free pointless gifts and objects of the room, finding it much too fancy for his liking. He had picked up a scented candle, observing it with a slightly freaked out yet confused look. He didn't like posh - It wasn't his scene and it usually meant he'd break something, and knowing him it would be expensive.

Sighing, the drummer put the candle down and looked around the room. His bag filled with clothes had been chucked in the corner and he had yet to unpack his sticks... But that could wait. He had time before the gig and he usually did everything last minute. He didn't mean to, it was just his manner. The room freaked him out a little with it's deathly silence and it's unnatural cleanliness. It was the complete opposite to him.

Danny was loud, loving to smash his drum kit until it cracked... Of course, he was clean but he wasn't... 'bright'. He usually wore dark clothes, matching his jet black hair and his black eyeliner which contrasted with his deathly pale skin. He wasn't organised like the room, he was the biggest airhead alive, so it seemed. He hoped they wouldn't have to stay too long within the hotel.

The sixth foot three male shook his head lightly before making his way out of the room to explore. He had no plans as to where he was going, but he needed to get out of the room. Quickly, he grabbed his packet of cigarettes before leaving the room, shutting the door behind himself. Walking along the corridors of the hotel, he kept his eyes open for smoking area sign of some sorts... But there was nothing. "Typical..." He muttered to himself as he walked down the staircase.

The packet of cigarettes got opened anyway, the male taking one out and putting it in his mouth as he slipped the packet back into his pocket. With his other hand, her grabbed his lighter and lit the end of his cigarette, inhaling his first drag. He felt so much better for it, stopping at the bottom of the staircase to sit on the bottom step to smoke his light. There was no one around and smoking inside wasn't going to hurt anyone... It never did in the old days.

"Sir... Sir.... SIR!" Before Danny knew it, a member of the hotel staff stood right in front of him, looking down at him as he sat on the staircase. "I'm afraid you can not smoke that in here and I am going to have to ask you to move. You are in the way. There are smoking areas outside of the hotel sir." The male said politely yet it a little annoyed tone.

It took effort for Danny to drag his eyes up to look at the male, his words taking a few seconds to finally register into his brain. "Oh shit. I'm really sorry dude." He said, standing up and putting out his cigarette. "I didn't realise... Yeah, sorry." He wasn't going to be an dick about it, even if he did find it stupid that he couldn't smoke inside. Swiftly, he moved on and carried on his exploring else where within the hotel.

Half an hour later, the drummer ended up in the bar. It was quite a nice bar... Quiet, but nice. He saw Izzie and Lee and made his way over to them. "Hey guys, did you know you can't smoke in here? T'is crazy." He said in a rough yet light hearted tone. His attention was soon caught by what could have been another band. He didn't feel threatened at all, in fact he didn't mind them. He wasn't going to judge them before he even got to know them but he wasn't going to be weird and start trying to befriend them either. "I want a drink... Izzie, get me one?" He said in a lazy tone, sitting down next to Lee. She'd know by now he was too lazy to do anything for himself... But surely they loved him for it.

As she paced around her hotel room, Ace started getting antsy, agitated, not sure what to do with herself. God damn, I wish that I had brought my xbox. It wasnโ€™t that she was trying to be anti-social and stay away from the group, but she loved video games, and they helped her. As an unknown recently recovering alcoholic, Ace had a hard time just sitting around. Sheโ€™d thought about taking up smoking, but figured if she was going to kill herself that way, might as well continue drinking. Sheโ€™d thought about going to AA to get group help, but that just made her think about drinking. Anything she thought of eventually came back to drinking, and fighting this on her own was harder than sheโ€™d thought. But the thought of telling her friends and family was even worse to her, so she kept it in the dark. Her band mates were like family to her, and she was so embarrassed about being an alcoholic that she couldnโ€™t tell them, she felt like she would let them down.

Finally perching herself on the side of the bed, Ace thought about all of these things, all of them made her want to drink. She needed to get her mind off of it. TV wasnโ€™t her thing, so that wouldnโ€™t help, nor would sleep; sheโ€™d never be able to. โ€œI could go talk to the bandโ€ฆโ€ she quietly said to herself, the words falling flat. I know theyโ€™ll be in the bar, was her follow up thought, disappointing as it was, it sounded appealing. Guess this can be the true test, her last thoughts before she stood up, and walked out of her room.

She walked to the elevator quickly, maybe too quickly for just a normal person, but the thought of a bar excited her, and noticing that she purposefully slowed herself down. Two months sober wasnโ€™t that long, she could still slip back into old habits, but she was determined not to. Stepping into the small fancy elevator, she leaned against the hand rail and took a deep breath, noticing it was rather chilly. Her cut up shorts and tank were probably not the best choice, but her beat up old Doc Martens kept her feet warm, that was something to be thankful for.

She reached the ground floor and stepped out, noticing there werenโ€™t many people around. At least I hope theyโ€™re in the bar, she thought. Walking into the bar was easy enough, seeing the bartender and all of his alcohol was another matter. โ€œJesus Christ,โ€ she whispered under her breath. This was probably the worst idea she could have had, but then she noticed Kenny and Rose, they were like a breath of fresh air, bringing her back down. She loved her friends, and was so glad they could be here. But she also noticed a couple of other people, also out of place in this fancy hotel. Then she remembered why she was here; the band competition. That must be our opposition, she thought, laughing at having forgotten. They looked okay enough, sheโ€™d heard a little bit about them and was actually rather excited to hear what they could do.

Ace made her way to the bar, ordered a glass of water (the first time sheโ€™d been in a bar and not ordered something alcoholic), and then made her way over to her friends. โ€œSo, is that the competitionโ€ she said, taking a drink and pointing at the others in the bar.

Kenny takes a moment to look up from the golden liquid in his glass before answering Rose. He flexes his fingers around the glass.

"Mmmhmmm." he smiles. "Ev'rything's tight, I think. The setlist might need fine-tuning, but the sound is awesome."

Rose was always keen to help around here, whether it's just checking the paperwork, or even laying down a backing track for a new riff. Although she's younger, Kenny has a respect for how mature she can be, and also for her sense of judgement. It's fair to say he would consider Rose to be a sibling, as that's how he's treated her since they went on tour, he just, never thought about it before.

He smiles at her again, and takes a long drink, emptying the glass. "Sora no yลki. Be right back." Returning to the bar, as casually as he can manage, he orders a double-measure of dark rum and cola. When he notices Ace entering, he restrains himself from going to order her a drink (he would have ordered Rose's too, but she got her own), knowing that she's been dry for the best part of two months, so he simply returns with his glass, and gestures to a chair next to Rose and himself. "Pull up a seat, girl."

This is probably somewhere she doesn't want to be..., he thinks to himself, but at least she's not hiding away in her room. He had worked out that she was trying to get off the drink - not drinking after gigs with the band... not drinking before gigs with the band, for that matter - he had worked it out a while back, but hadn't told a soul. This was her own personal demon, not his to interfere with. Ok, so maybe I could stop drinking around her, but that would be like telling me to give up completely, and I think I'm in a good place where I am.

Reminded of the other band possibly being here, he glances back at the table where the metal chick was sitting - now it seems like she's been joined by several other misfits.

"I guess maybe they are," he shrugs, almost dismissively. "I don't think it really matters though. They leave us alone, we'll leave them alone, right?"

Benji peaked out of his room, watching the third member of his band leave their room and head towards the elevator. The bar. Naturally. Kenny started it. The bar was a natural place for him to head, then Rose usually has something to talk to him about, then Ace would want to hang out with them. Benji wanted to hang out, too, but he didn't like bars. They were either too rough or too snooty. Heck, half of the metal scene was too rough for Benji. Well, more than half. Most. Anyways! Benji wasn't a wuss, he just didn't like to get angry. It felt weird.

Sighing, Benji turned back into his room, grumbling to himself as he went to his desk. He tucked away his half-written letter into the box full of more of the same. Then, he changed into the tamest outfit he owned: a black -extremely tight- t-shirt, a sunflower yellow suit jacket, black cargo pants, and his yellow converse. That all paired together with his currently yellow and black hair gave off an almost bumblebee vibe. Feeling like he might actually kinda sorta almost blend in down stairs, he left his room and headed to the bar.

As soon as Benji stepped into the bar, though, it was rather obvious he didn't fit. Instead of letting it bother him, he spotted his band and grinned. He hurried over to them and plopped into a chair next to Kenny. Noticing the object of their attentions, he glanced over at the other obvious misfits in the bar. He instantly felt a little less weird, noticing that at least he was wearing a suit jacket!

As he'd walked up, he'd caught the tail end of Kenny's question-y comment thing.

"Why do we have to ignore 'em? I mean, look at them. We're in totally different worlds. From what I've heard of their music, they're a lot heavier than us," Benji assured, glancing over at the other group again. "They look a lot angrier, too."
