Personality: Rika is a cold hearted masochist/sadist. She likes watching others in pain. She finds it interesting and a bit entertaining. She will do whatever it takes to get ahead in life, even if its morally wrong. Rika really doesn’t have any morals, she will kill anyone who gets in her way. And wont even give it a second thought. But she isn’t as rash as most would think. She is always calm and collected--never showing her anger, only a smile. But the smile is usually a sadistic one. Rika is far from stupid; she will weigh her options on most things before making a choice. This way she keeps herself out of fights she can’t win. She is also a tactician, always calculating out her next move as if her life was a game of chess. But this is also her weakness, sometimes she over thinks things and doesn’t think about the simple problems in her life. This sometimes gets her into a little bit of trouble, but it has never been something bad enough where she can’t get herself out of it.
Rika is a bit of a smooth talker. She can be very convincing when she wants to be, often saying the right thing to get people to trust her, but she is like a snake, waiting for her prey to get close enough and then she strikes. She is a bit of a seductress using her charms to get people to put their faith in her. Rika is the type that if she sets her mind to it she will get it done.
While fighting Rika’s personality never changes : she is always calm even if her back is against the wall. She will never show fear, she will just keep fighting until the end. Rika is not perfect, but she gives of the presence that she is the perfect killing machine. She knows this and uses it to her advantage, trying to strike fear into her enemy, looking them in the eyes with her cold yet hypnotizing stare.
History: Rika was a natural, when she was training at the academy. She was at the top of her class. She was able to understand things quite easily, she abilities proved quite useful and she was allowed to join squad 12. Her captain told her, he was slightly impressed with her intelligence, but the truth was he was a bit jealous of her abilities to think her feet so quickly. She was able to fix any mistake her captain made efficiently and with ease. Rika was promoted to third seat for her hard work and determination. She was angry with her captain, because she felt she deserved the position of lieutenant. But Rika barred with it, she went along with her captain’s decision. It wasn’t long after that, that the Arrancar attacked. Her captain was killed during a fight with an Arrancar, the lieutenant was wounded. His wounds were close to fatal, but if he had received medical attention he would have been fine. But Rika couldn’t have that man being her captain, so she held the lieutenant in her arms and forced her sealed Zanpakuto into his back. The lieutenant began bleeding out and Rika covered herself in his blood and forced herself to cry as the medical team came to help. By the time they had arrived the lieutenant was dead.
Rika lives with what she did, she doesn’t regret doing it because no one knows what happened and she is captain now so her past will stay in the past.
