AlexandriaAlex nodded.
"Yeah. I'll be right down" she said. When he turned to leave her room, she shut the door quickly and put her face in her hands. She knew she'd have to get ready and meet Samuel or he'd think something WAS wrong with her. She walked into the bathroom slowly and turned the water on. She tried to drown out her thoughts by humming but it was no use. She stripped down and was about to get in the shower when she heard a voice that made her heart stop.
"that was QUITE the show you just put on there."
Spencer chuckled. "By the look on your face you knew I was coming. Did MEL call you Alex? Hmm? Did she cry? You're a pansy but you take a better hit than she does." Alex backed up into the counter and pulled a towel down, trying to cover herself. "Oh come on baby. No need to cover up. It's not anything I haven't SEEN before." he purred. He approached and yanked the towel out of her hands. "In fact it seems i'm right on time for the party." he said, wrapping his arms around her waist. "Who was the man at the door?" he whispered harshly in her ear.
"N..Nobody." she stuttered. "You're lying to me Alex. I an always tell when you're lying" he said, shaking his head. He grabbed her by the throat and pressed her against the wall, squeezing her windpipe. She struggled but he gathered her hands with one of his. He waited until her body was more limp from lack of oxygen "Now i'm going to let go and you're going to tell me who the man was at your door." he said slowly. She nodded and he let go. She was silent and he threw a punch, hitting her left cheek bone. "don't make this any harder than it has to be Alex" he said harshly. Alex shook her head, implying she wasn't going to tell him. "I WILL NOT SHARE YOU ALEX. WHO WERE YOU WITH?" he yelled, slapping her across the face. Alex cringed and whimpered in pain but she shook her head again. He was beyond angry at that point and threw her to the floor, pinning her wrists with his knees.
Suddenly a knock came to her door. "Ms. Kason are you alright?" This caught Spencer's attention. 'This is NOT over. I'll be back' he whispered sharply, exiting back out the balcony and down the side of the building.
"Y..yeah...I'm alright...I just...slipped" she said, obviously lying. "I heard shouting. Are you sure you're alright?" the woman asked.
"Yeah. I hurt myself, but it's just a bruise. No need to worry. Thank you for your concern" she called, sounding more confident and more believable. When the woman's footsteps receded, Alex crawled over to the balcony doors, shut them, and locked them. She pulled the curtains closed and crawled back into the steamy bathroom and cried as the hot water streamed down onto her head.
'Pull it together Alex. Samuel is going to be wondering where you were. It's almost 6:30. Figure out what you're going to tell him' she thought, examining her wounds. There was definitely a bruise forming from where he punched her, and bruises were forming on her wrists as well. The red mark from the slap would disappear in a few minutes.
'Figure out what you're going to tell Samuel' she thought, blacking out in the shower.
