The creature sniffed the cool air. The promise of something dark lingered on the night breeze. He could feel it. A flowing stream trickled somewhere in the distance, unheard by normal ears. But this was not a natural creature that roamed the grassy land.

He was a creature of myths and legends.

And tonight the land he wondered was equally steeped in the enchanted. Fairy Rounds glowed from their hiding places, sheltered from human sight. The music of the forest lulled the night. The dark creature sniffed here and there. His sense heightened. Something dark but highly enticing called to him.

He'd strayed from his pack. Dangerous. But it was all right. He was a large wolf. Yet the scent enticed him against his better judgement. It did not belong to the forest. The creatures mind understood that if little else. Dark and exotic, it called to something deep within him.

Branches snapped and crackled under the large paws as the creature was pulled forward, almost against his own will. What was the strange scent? . . . He had to know! However, the creature realised he was limited in it's current form. Though, he did not understand the transformation. He knew he needed to shift.

Paws and limbs stretched out he lay on the ground as the unexplainable process began to take shape. Fur retracted being pulled back into its root, bones shifted, shortening and lengthening. It was painful. However, a pain that would be forgotten as quickly as it came as the humans mind took over the wolfs natural instincts. The claws were the last to shift, digging into the dirt.

Romeo groaned, finding himself naked on the mossy ground. He flexed his muscles as the last remnants of the wolfs mind slowly rolled into the human thinking brain.

“Jesus! That was a bitch!” He moaned as he stood to his full length, dusting himself off.

He wasn't completely sure what had happened here. The moon was still high in the sky. And though it was not full, it was still night. He never shifted until the dawn. So what had happened to his wolf?

Running a hand down his smooth abs, as he tried to figure out what went wrong? His strong form glistening in the moons light. Tight muscle and silky skin stretched over steel bones. He was a sight to behold. A pagan God in the forest. Grey eyes reflecting the glow; Romeo ran a hand through his mossed up blonde hair. He'd separated from the pack?

“Great. You idiot.” He reprimanded himself for his wolfs foolishness.

They must be searching for him. He was their Alpha. Romeo led a strong pack of a dozen. Nine men and three bitches. He listened intently for a moment as he decided what to do. If only he could remember more from his wolf form. The wolf and human mind did not meld well. What made sense to the wolf didn't always make sense to the human and vice versa.

Nothing stirred, but the creatures of the forest. The fairies and their festivities could be heard. Romeo cautioned himself to stay away from them. Fairies were little tricksters and he had no intention of being caught up in their mischief.

“Well, better find the pack, before they find me.” Romeo sighed as he began on his way.

This was going to be a long night . . .

The wind was blowing through her think brown hair as she walked outside. Victoria needed to get away from her life, just for a while. Sometimes it's hard to constantly tell people what to do and reject 800 different male vampires. The moonlight highlighted onto her face enhancing her pale complexion and bright blue eyes. She wasn't hungry so they weren't its beautiful red color and she wasn't angry so the deep black wasn't apparent.

Her heels sunk into the dirt as she walked into the forest looking for the fairies patch. It was beautiful at this time of night. Her dress was a hassle to walk in, but it was radiant in the moonlight. The purple skirt was crashing into sticks and stones, but it didn't bother her one bit. Noises from her dress wouldn't scare the fairies away. Victoria gently ran her fingers through her soft hair and kept walking. She was starting to get hungry and some of the red color showed through her brown.

The snapping of a twig stopped her from walking. It was close by. Someone or something else was in the forest with her. She strayed the path to the fairies to see what it was. She walked over sticks and made sure not to make a noise as she crew closer. Victoria looked behind her to see she was farther away from her home then she originally planned, but she was know to venture out on her own at random times. The coven wouldn't miss her.

Her hunger grew stronger as she got a strong scent that lingered in the air. Whatever the thing was, it was going to be her next meal. Her fangs started to extend by themselves, but she fought back and retracted them. Victoria didn't want to scare her meal away just yet. When the smell was stronger she could pinpoint where it was coming from.

Slowly turning her head, she saw a beautiful man. He was shirtless and completely irresistible looking. She could barely peel her eyes off his abs. Victoria could have taken him right then and there if she wasn't hungry. No longer hiding in the shadows, she walked out into the open. She checked him out before looking at his face. Her eyes shimmered with a red tint before she smiled. "Well hello cutie. What are you doing out here?" she asked him ready to make him hers for the night.

There was no sign of the pack. Romeo sighed heavily as he shrugged into a pair of jeans. One of many he kept dotted around place, just in case of times like this. Rare moments when his wolf decided to shift.

The night was cool but the Werewolf's skin was always warm. He supposed he should head home. No longer in the mood to romp through the dense forest. The hunt was good but he wasn't particularly hungry and the pack would be all right without him for one night.

Recently, Romeo had been feeling a sudden ennui with life. Nothing pleased him as such. The females of the pack interested him little. Although there was that one that had caught his interest. She belonged to a different pack. But neither did she inspire him to give chase. Frankly he was bored. Though, it was high time he found a mate and settled down, especially if the man intended on remaining the leader of the pack. He didn't want his position challenged.

Mating was important. Producing offspring even more so. The pack needed to stay healthy in numbers. No thanks to those blood sucking vampires! Romeo spat, simply at the thought. They'd hunted his kind for centuries. The werewolf had become an endangered specie because of those bastard vamps!

Romeo's violent train of thought was interrupted when a coaxing voice drifted across the breeze.

”Well hello cutie. What are you doing out here?”

Romeo whipped around at the seductive sound. Before him stood beauty incarnate. He found himself stood still as a wolf in the forest that had heard something moving. The irony wasn't lost on him as he raised a defined brow at her in-depth perusal of his form.

Thick flowing dark locks played on the wind. Skin so pale that it reflected the moons light . . . and that dress! Romeo couldn't pull his gaze away. Logic seemed to flee him. She was the loveliest thing he had ever set eyes on. Purple silk clinging to her ever curve and those blood red lips . . .

“I could ask you the same thing.” He smirked and slowly stalked towards her, when he recovered.

Her beauty only increasing with every step he took. Bare footed. Her scent seemed familiar . . . Was she the reason the wolf had shifted? Romeo didn't care. He was just glad that he did.

“Girls as pretty as you shouldn't be out alone this late at night . . .” His voice was a low rumble as he leaned a hand on a tree trunk close to her head while the other came out to caress the silky softness of her jaw line. Exquisite. “Don't you know, there are all sorts of creatures lurking around here . . .” He whispered, smiling lips pressed to one pale ear. “Dangerous things, that go bump in the night . . . Foxes, owls, deer . . . Wolves?

The closer he moved toward her the more beautiful he looked. She was mesmerized by his haunting grey eyes and she couldn't tear hers away. His jeans were low on his hips and hugged him in the right place. Her eyes were glued to his as he walked closer. It was absolute perfection that stood before her, but she had to stick to the plan that she had when she came to him.

“I could ask you the same thing.” He moved closer, practically within arms reach. The urge to stroke his perfectly sculpted abs was strong, but the will to eat was stronger. She looked up at him with a seductive smile. His face was close to her own. His lips were soft looking and matched the shade of his skin. She wondered what they tasted like. She wouldn't mind tasting them first before she got the first drop of his blood.

His hand ran against her jaw line and she couldn't help, but lean into it. Victoria was supposed to be seducing him, but it seemed to be the other way around. Or maybe they were even seducing each other. As he spoke to her she couldn't really hear what he was saying. His whispers into her ear was making it hard to focus on the task at hand. When she did tune back in, she caught the last thing that he said loud and clear.

“Dangerous things, that go bump in the night . . . Foxes, owls, deer . . . Wolves?” A soft giggle escaped her lips as she leaned more into the sexy man before her. Victoria turned her head to whisper into his ear. "They don't scare me," she said with a smirk on her face. He didn't know who she was and planned to keep it that way. A quick kill was all she wanted before she went on her way. Her gaze shifted to his bare neck and her fangs slowly extended.

She leaned in to inhale more of his scent. Victoria gave a gentle kiss on the spot where she was planning to bite. A hand ran down his chest and she smiled. "I want you," she whispered again. Little did he know, she was talking to the blood coursing through his veins. She could hear it moving in him. She could almost taste it and she couldn't wait to. Victoria's fangs extend all the way out of excitement, but she placed another kiss on his neck instead impaling him with her fangs. She had a seductive habit of teasing her food.

"This won't hurt....much," she assured him. Victoria opened her mouth and grazed the area she was going to pierce and drain his life.

The curve of those delicious lips was like an imprint on his skin as she whispered close to his ear that she wasn't afraid of the things that went bump in the night; prompting Romeo's own smile. Her scent was intoxicating . . . a mix of the exotic and dangerous. Romeo couldn't quite put his finger on it. But then he didn't want to. The only thing he really wanted right now was to put his hands upon her.

A shiver ran down his spine as she leaned in and placed the gentlest of kisses to his neck. Romeo was never this easy. He'd never dated a chick outside of the pack, let alone go this far with a woman he'd known less then five minutes but . . . There was something different about this one. His wolf had known it. He'd shifted for her. Romeo knew it now and he trusted his instincts.

Her soft cools hands ran down his chest as she whispered “I want you.” Romeo couldn't hold back the moan that left his lips. Her skin marking him wherever she touched him.

He wanted her too. No! It was more a need. He needed her! Right now! His hands came to fist her dress as he suddenly pulled her closer. Her lips pressed against the skin of his neck once more. Heating the already warm skin.

But . . . something felt wrong this time. A coolness, like ivory caressed his skin. Romeo was still lost in her . . .

“This won't hurt....much.” She coaxed.

Her words a teasing light, yet they prompted a frown on Romeo's darkly handsome features. Something felt really wrong. Yet, he was willing to over look it. For his need for her was too strong, too great.

It was the scratching graze to his neck that brought Romeo back to reality. His eyes flying wide open as he growled dangerously, moving with lightening speed, his large hand coming around her neck in a tight fist, slamming her hard against a tree trunk. The perilously sharp fangs glowing in the dark of nights like warning lights.

“Vampire!” He roared at his own stupidity and disgust.

He'd been turned on by a fucking blood sucker! And what annoyed him more he still was as his hand tightened and squeezed around her long elegant neck.

Romeo howled up to the night. His pack answered. A dozen yipps and howls responded in the distance. They now knew where to find him. And this she-vamp would be history. Romeo gazed at her lovely face, skin so fine and white it could have been made out of porcelain.

He was breathing hard. His eyes not straying from those darkly red lips, the fangs still descended. He should kill her right now. Tear her to pieces and present them to him pack. But damn it! He still wanted her! But he wasn't an idiot.

Pressing her against the tree trunk, he held her there by her fine neck, his grip tightening. He wasn't concerned about hurting her as he pressed himself against her. His haunting grey gaze holding her blood red one. How could he not have seen it before? But he couldn't deny her loveliness, though he fought his feelings with all his might. He sniffed her, memorizing her scent. Nose pressed to her cheek.

“I should kill you right now Vampire.” He finally ground through clenched teeth, still pressed up against her. Her every curve molding to his form. Softness pressed against his hardness. “Should feed you to my pack, like you planned on feeding on me. I told you there were dangerous things that go bump in the night here.” He laughed coldly. “You want to taste my blood?” He sneered. “It'll be a cold day in hell before that happens sweetheart.”

His was silent then, his eyes locked with hers. Fuck! Why was he still standing here?! Holding her?!? He should be tearing her to pieces right now. Fucking Vamp that she was.

“Go!” He finally commanded, suddenly throwing her to the floor. The pack could be heard, they were getting closer. “Go, before I change my mind and feed you to my pack.”

He was falling for it. He was actually falling for her seductive nature and the moan was a clear indicator. She knew it would work, but she loved to hear the power she had. He was pulling her closer, gripping her waist not wanting her to disappear. Victoria might have be falling for him as well, but she was still way to hungry. Her fangs were ready to pierce his neck, but something happened. Something that she wasn't expecting. The growl.

The man was a wolf. Before she could even get away his hands were around her neck. Vampires don't need are, but it was going to leave a mark. She was scratching at his arms, begging to get free, but it wasn't working. This goddamn dog was about to kill her and there was nothing she could do. And on top of that she was finding this sexy.

What the hell was wrong with her? Her was choking her and she was completely turned on. Victoria should kill him, but she can't. She is trapped. And of course the dog was making it worse by pressing himself onto her. His heat was radiating off her skin onto her cold skin and she didn't want her to leave.

Her gaze moved from his perfect lips to his haunting grey eyes. Her red eyes were shifting back to their bright blue ones and she couldn't look away. Her eyes were full of hurt and lust and she couldn't understand why. Inside she was hurt that he was actually hurting her. He was threatening her life by calling all his wolf friends.

Then unexpectedly she was tossed to the ground. Victoria pushed herself off the ground and she looked back up by them. There was something in his eyes, but she couldn't place a finger on it. A twig snapped close by so she took off in the blink of an eye. By the time the other wolves could register that she was ever in the forest she was back behind her home.

Those aquamarine eyes haunted him the whole night and tortured him throughout the day. Romeo cursed himself for letting the Vampire go. What the hell had he been thinking?! Yet, some part of him that he tried his hardest to suppress was relieved she had got away before the pack had descended. She had escaped within an inch of her life. And for some sick reason, Romeo knew that had something happened to that Vampire he would have mourned her loss.

Her elegant features in the waxing moons light ran through his mind no matter how much he tried to push it out of his mind. The heat of her pressed against his bare skin still resonated on him and her scent . . . that intoxicating scent, filled his every sense.

His day was busy and having had little sleep the night before he wasn't in the best of moods. The pack could tell and kept their distance from their alpha. Romeo tried to get on with the matters for his land. The wolves may not live lavishly but they were well enough off, owning a lot of land. Maintaining which took up a lot of Romeo's day. There was always some paper work to do or some one to confer with about maintaining the lands and forests in the packs possession.

However, no matter how much Romeo tried to focus his mind on his work, his thoughts always seemed to drift back to the vampire. Romeo's hand clenched into a fist, his eyes glazing over as he sat at his large glass desk in his home office. That she-vampire! It was like when she hand dug her nails into his arm she had left her poison behind and he couldn't stop thinking about her.

A cold laugh escaped his lips. There was no such thing as vampire poison. It was just her. He could stop. He had become obsessed with her. Looking down suddenly, he rubbed one hand over the welts she had left on his lower arms. They would be gone by the night. Were's healed fast.

“So, do you ever plan on telling me how you got those pretty marks?”

Romeo looked up to see his second in command and best friend Jack Alcott standing in front of his desk, with a curious smile on his face.

“I told you, it was a bear.” Romeo replied simply.

“Yeah, sure. A bear.” Jack smirked. “I've never seen a bear leave a mark like that . . . But whatever you say man. Anyway, you leading the hunt tonight, or you planning on abandoning us again?”

Romeo frowned. He hadn't abandoned the pack last night. At least, he had never meant to. It was all the Vampires fault. Her scent had called to his wolf and Romeo couldn't blame his base self for following his instincts and finding the pretty vampire.

“I'm not coming. You can lead the pack tonight. I'm too tried. Didn't get enough sleep last night.” Romeo commented rubbing his eyes.

“Don't tell me that bear scared you.” Jack joked.

Romeo smirked. “I wouldn't call it scaring . . .” No he'd call it enticed. “I just need some rest before the full moon comes out in a few days. You okay with leading?”

“Yeah, sure man. I like playing the boss.” Jack winked with a grin. “All right, so we won't wait on you tonight. Catch you later man.”

Romeo watched silently as he watched his friend walk away. He was tired but not tired enough to not lead the pack. But he had to say that to Jack, just to stop the man asking questions. Romeo had other plans for tonight. Foolish plans. But not even the God's could stop him . . .

Grey clouds drifted across the creamy moon in the dead of night. He knew he had lost his mind but he couldn't help himself. Just once. Romeo told himself. Just once he would see for himself. He knew no vampire would be foolish enough to come back to a wolf's territory where they had been attacked. Yet, he couldn't stop himself from coming making sure himself.

She wouldn't be here. He would satisfy his curiosity and never think of her again. After all, he convinced himself. The vampire had no right coming here. This was his land. How dare any blood sucker step foot on wolf land?!

Romeo leaned against the tree, he had pressed her against the night before. Her scent still filled the air, imprinted on the tree. Sweet, exotic . . . dangerous. He folded his arms across his chest. Fully clothed tonight in a loose t-shirt and low riding jeans as he watched the clouds drift across the moon. The howls in the distance, music in the night . . .

Victoria couldn't get his scent off of her. He was all that she could think about no matter how many times she has tried to take her mind off of him through the night. When she got back to her home she excused herself from the party and went straight to her room. After 5 showers the scent of the dog still coated her body. His scent mixing wit her own; warm, inviting, intoxicating, and mesmerizing.

She hissed and grabbed the nearest thing to throw against the wall. She hated that damned wolf for how she felt even though it wasn't his fault. Through the day she could only get about 20 minutes of sleep. Her dreams consisted of his face and those haunting grey eyes staring deep in her blue ones. She had to wake up before she stayed asleep thinking about it. Her hunger and sleepiness was suppressed with mild anger replacing her murky aquamarine eyes with deep grey ones. Everyone knew that today was not the day to mess with Miss Victoria.

Her few hours before feeding time was filled with meetings, meetings, and more meetings. Sometimes she didn't even know why she was included with these meetings since she wasn't the leader of anything. She just had serious influence of some of the vampires. Out of all the vampire she was the only one who could successfully seduce someone or convince them to do what she wanted without any problem. But she wasn't up to it today.

"Victoria what do we do about the wolf pack? They are getting bigger," said Duke Wells. She hated Duke Wells with every fiber in her entire body, but they kept him around because of his wealth. He pays for practically everything. And of course she had to be the one to keep his unwanted ass around so he continues to pay for things.

"Leave them. Until they start killing off vampires we like, leave them be," she said. They all stared at her like she had just cursed their families and homes. The wolves couldn't harm a whole army of vampires if they tried, she wasn't too worried. She stood up and dismissed the meeting because she was sick of the stares. On her way upstairs a hand grabbed her waist dragging her into one of the empty rooms.

"You smell like wolf, love," Julius Broman said to her. She slapped him hard across the face, but he didn't flinch. He just gave a dark chuckle and kissed her cheek.

"I hate you Jules. You always find ways to freak me the hell out," Victoria snapped at him. A smile crept on her face as he was just staring at her knowing that she could never stay mad at him.

"But why do you smell like wolf?" he asked. Victoria could have answered that in many different ways, but she chose this one.

"None of you damn business, now go away before I kill you," she said with a dark tone in her voice. She meant it. He let her go free and she walked back to her room. She changed out her black traditional gown into a blue jeans and a white plaid shirt. She slipped into black combat boots and combed her bun out. Victoria sat by her window and a certain scent filled her nose. It was him.

He was out there. Maybe he was out there for her. Maybe he wasn't. Maybe there were others like out there. She didn't know and she didn't exactly care. She needed to see him again. After thinking of him all day she had a right to see him.

She jumped out of the window and ran to the spot where they had their first encounter. She stopped a bit farther back so that she wouldn't be spotted so soon. His scent was stronger and was dragging her toward him. Victoria wasn't trying that hard to fight it. Finally she was pulled from her hiding spot, but she stayed a good distance away.

"Alas. We meet again," she said. Her hands went up to show she came in peace. She wasn't going to harm him, but the urge to other things was strong. She leaned on a tree across from him. "I guess I should thank you for sparing my life," she said with a small smile. There she goes flirting with the damned dog again.

“And you come back to try your luck again vampire?” He smirked.

She'd appeared out of nowhere. A down to earth Goddess today, stood in a pair of jeans and a shirt. Her dark locks flowing around her, stark and contrasting against her pale skin. Romeo pushed off the bark and slowly strolled towards her. He couldn't keep away. Not now that she was so close.

“I won't be so lenient second time round.”

He came to stand before her. A hand coming to rest on the trunk next to her head while the other suddenly came up to grasp her elegant neck. He left her flinch and he couldn't fight his grin as he caressed the column with his rough calloused finger tips.

She was so lovely . . . How could he think of a vampire like that?! But he did. She was beautiful. He couldn't take his eyes off her face. He pulled in close. His nose brushing her pale cheek, taking in her scent.

“And how do you think you should thank me Vampire?” He whispered hotly against her ear.

Victoria flinched when it looked like he was going to put her back into a choke hold again, but he only caressed her face. Hands so strong, felt gentle and soft against her skin. His warmth radiating out and mixing with her cold body. It was perfect. He was perfect. But he was a dog. Everything was confusing. Maybe she couldn't have come back.

All that effort to wash his scent away from her failed as he leaned in closer to her. His scent was strong and hypnotizing. His mouth right by her ear and her eyes staring at his neck. She wasn't hungry, but biting him was crossing her mind.

“And how do you think you should thank me Vampire?” Victoria smirked and leaned in close by his ear. She stroked his chest and stayed silent for a moment. She let his mind wander about all the things they could possibly do while they were in this forest together.

She kissed his neck softly before licking his ear lightly. "How about I don't bite you?" Victoria whispered seductively. When those words escaped her lips she leaned back and laughed.

“How about I don't bite you?”

Romeo's face broke out in a grin and he couldn't help laughing at her words. She joined in. Her laugh was light and childlike. Like everything about her, it pleased him. Romeo pulled away slightly to look down at her.

Her beauty still blew him away. Held him captivated, his thumb still stroking her throat lightly as her hand lightly played down his toned chest. He was so tempted to push her hard up against the tree right now and have his way with the vampire. Mark her as his.

“How about you tell me your name . . ." He said to her finally when he recovered from his wayward thoughts; his hand coming to her waist and pulling her hard against him. "And I won't punish you for trespassing on my land Vampire."

“How about you tell me your name . . ." Victoria thought about it as she was pulled closer to him. Closer than she needed to be. Her thoughts were trailing off into things that shouldn't be thought. "And I won't punish you for trespassing on my land Vampire." The idea of a punishment when it came to him was that it wasn't going to be painful.

Her smirk turned into a full on smile when she looked up at him. "Will I like this punishment?" she asked with her eyebrow raised in a seductive manner. She didn't even give him time to answer when she decided to tell him her name, for god knows what reason. Names are very important to vampires. "Victoria. And yours Wolf?" she asked.

Victoria couldn't stop staring at his lips. His plump kissable lips that seemed to be calling out to her. She wanted to kiss them bad.

Romeo smiled at her words. In fact, the smile hadn't left his lips since he'd laid eyes on her tonight. It was wrong. So very wrong. He knew it. This was not going the way he had thought. No, but he was glad it wasn't.

“You might . . .” Romeo smirked.

Any punishment he could imagine involving her seemed intensely pleasurable. His hand slid to caress the curve of her back as he pressed her even closer to him if that was possible.

Victoria.” Her name a sweet on his lips.

Victoria. Yes, it suited the daring Vampiress. He liked it. It made her more real to him.

“Victoria . . .” He whispered once more, his lips moving closer to hers. “I'm Romeo.” Grinning at what seemed to him as a great irony as he captured her lips, meting out her punishment.

When he said her name she was stuck in a trance. She wanted him to say it again. She wanted him to say it a thousand times over again. Both hands were on his chest at this point. Her hands were keeping him from getting any closer than he was.

“I'm Romeo.” he said. His name was perfect just like him. "Romeo," she said before his lips met her. Her hands moved to wrap around his neck bringing him closer. Their bodies molded into each other. If this was the punishment she wanted more.

Honestly this was wrong on many rules given by both the coven and the clan, but at the moment any rules that they were thinking about left the window. Victoria didn't want to let go of him. She wanted him forever. Just as she was going to deepen the kiss a twig snapped, she was pulled away from her wolf.

"Why the hell are you kissing a dog, Vicky?" said a familiar voice. They were still in the clearing with Romeo, but a distance away. It got so cold when they parted.

"Go away Julius," she commanded. Julius' gaze didn't leave the direction of the wolf. He was disgusted.

"No, who is this dog?" He asked in particularly to no one. Victoria knew he was going to eat those words when Romeo attacked him.

"Don't call him that," she muttered, but it didn't really change much.

His arms wrapped tighter around her waist as she pulled him closer, her arms twining around his lean neck as his lips stole what he wanted from hers. She was a sweet need he never knew he needed until this very moment. The wolf groaned.

Romeo was so lost that he hadn't heard the intruder until the bastard had pulled Victoria out of his arms. The wolf growled dangerously low in his throat as he whipped around.

"Why the hell are you kissing a dog, Vicky?"

"Go away Julius,"

"No, who is this dog?" He the stranger replied coarsely as if he had any right over her

"Don't call him that," Romeo heard Victoria defend him.

He moved closer out of the darkness of the tree towards the man that was holding his Vampire. He wanted to rip the bastards head off but just for her Romeo stopped himself. What if the bastard was her friend? He didn't want to hurt her in anyway but if the other vampire had to die . . . then so be it.

“Yes, Julius. Get your hands off of my vampire before I remove them for you.” The wolf threatened lowly.

She was his now . . .

“Yes, Julius. Get your hands off of my vampire before I remove them for you.” Victoria blushed even though it barely showed through her pale skin. Julius looked back at Victoria then at Romeo. This was not going to end well if Julius was going to do what she thought he was.

Her friend advanced, but she took him and threw him against a nearby tree. She was stronger than the two. Julius stood up and ran at her. She kicked him and he fell to the ground in front of her. Slowly he pulled himself up and gripped her throat tightly. His eyes were jet black as were hers.

"Move Vicky," he threatened, but she wasn't scared of him despite that he had her in a choke hold. If one more man puts me in a choke hold I will end them.

"Go ahead Jules. Do it," she taunted. Jules squeezed, but he couldn't kill his best friend. His eyes were going back to their natural forest green and when he loosened his hold she took his arm and smashed him into the floor.

"Get the hell off me Vicky," he screamed. She laughed as her eyes went back to black.

"The go the hell home," she said again releasing him. He looked at the wolf and then back at Victoria. He nodded before disappearing into the woods. She laughed some more before turning around to face her wolf.

Her eyes shifted from the murky grey back to the bright blue right before his eyes. "Did you call me your vampire? Did I not tell you my name? I swore you asked for it," she said with a sarcastic tone. Victoria was changing subject because she wanted to forget that he ever showed up ruining everything.

She did know that Julius was going to tell someone and she was going to have to face the wrath of one of the vampires. She prayed that it wasn't one of the elders or they would kill Romeo.

Everything went down in a blink of an eye for Romeo. The vampires moved too damn fast and before Romeo knew it the Vampire was going back with his tail between his legs. Romeo growled pissed that he hadn't got the chance to rip a vampire's head off it's shoulders and turn it into ash as it rightfully should be. He stared after the vampire, long after he had gone.

But her soothing voice brought back Romeo's calm, even though she taunted. His eyes shifted to her. A slight smile, not fully reaching the corners of his lips lit his face as he walked towards her. His arms wrapping around her once more as he held her close. Not wanting to let go.

“You are my vampire.” He informed her, his alpha coming to the fore, nuzzling her neck; nipping and kissing the soft skin. “I'll call you whatever I like . . . Vampire, Victoria, Vic . . . my bitch.” He grinned against her neck. “Who was that asshole?”

If he was her boyfriend or lover, he was going to die . . .

Victoria wrapped her arms around the wolf once more. His vampire. she liked the sound of that despite she had a serious thing about being possessed by men. She actually hated it. She was the one that dominated over men and now Romeo is trying to change up her well known reputation, but she is letting it go this time. His arms took hold of her waist reuniting their bodies. His warmth engulfed in her cool.

“You are my vampire.” He was very possessive and she was going to have to get used to that. His tone was very commanding and slightly sexy. Romeo started kissing and nipping her neck, turning her on. A small groan escaped her mouth. “I'll call you whatever I like . . . Vampire, Victoria, Vic . . . my bitch.” Of course he had to call her his bitch. Ruining her mood.

Now she knew he was kidding, but she did take minor offense to that name. First it was comparing her to the female dogs in his pack and she was no bitch. Of all things she would be alpha. She playfully slapped him and crossed her arms. Honestly, she should have slapped him harder, but they would break out in a fight and she wasn't ready for that yet.

“Who was that asshole?” She laughed a bit. "That asshole is my protective best friend," she said. Julius has anger issues though, but that's what she loved about her best friend. And what makes things funnier is that they fight like that almost everyday. Over the tiniest things. He would win some, she would win most. It actually made her day. She would look forward to fights with him.

Victoria stroked Romeo's chest and looked into his caring grey eyes. "Were you jealous wolfie?" she asked in a mocking tone. They were getting awfully close for people that just got together. Already he was claiming her and she wanted him as well. "Well don't worry. I'm all yours as you are all mine," she said.

“Wolfie?” Romeo pulled away from her neck to look down at her with a raised brow. No one had ever called him that before. “Maybe I was a little jealous but as long as he remains your friend and nothing more, we wont have a problem.”

They looked into each others eyes as she stroked his chest. Her earlier moan of pleasure pleased him. Everything about her pleased him. Her, a vampire being turned on by him, a wolf. Could there be anything more wrong in the world? But it didn't seem to matter in that moment. He knew it was all happening so fast. But a wolf just knew. He'd never felt this way about any female, wolf or no wolf, before.

He would enjoy taming this vampire. His vampire.

“But I don't know, you're going to have to fight for me vampire.” He couldn't help teasing her, his hand sliding down the curves of her side and slowly under her shirt as his attention went back to her neck. He would mark her as his for every God damn blood sucker to see. “A few females have laid claim to me as their mates.”

This was true. But he left out the part that he had no interest in anyone beside her . . . His mate . . .

“But I don't know, you're going to have to fight for me vampire.” Victoria smiled. She almost killed her best friend for him, she wouldn't hesitate to hurt a few more people vampires or not. She could feel his warm hands under her shirt and she moved her arms around his neck. He was making his mark on her neck and she would have to explain the strange markings to the other vampires. Or she could wear turtleneck sweaters. “A few females have laid claim to me as their mates.” That made her a bit jealous, but she wasn't going to let it show.

She smiled and ran her fingers through his hair. "Well you have a few dozen men to fight off yourself," she said knowing that many of them will not like the mark of a wolf on her. And the scent was going to be stronger than before because she was still on him. But she could careless. She won't be able to think of another man the same way she thinks about Romeo, especially with the situation they are in right now.

"Romeo I can sense your eagerness to take me right now, but it isn't happening," she said pulling her hands out from under her shirt. Victoria would love more than anything to be taken by him, but not in the woods and not right now. People would be looking for her soon because Julius returned empty. She took two steps back because being as close as they were, made it hard to think straight. Even the two steps back doesn't seem to be enough, but at least she could think.
