Vincent's family was the definition of narcissism in its purest form. He was often ridiculed because he was the exact opposite. A very down-to-earth, and laid back kind of guy, Vincent never saw a need in being fashionably appeasing. He assumed his "normal human" personality was just fine. Vincent laughs, jokes, smiles, and has feelings. Of course, that doesn't mean take his kindness for weakness. If pushed to the brink, he has no reluctance to rip out someone's heart. Speaking of hearts, Vincent loves to love. He has a natural air of charisma that surrounds him, and he enjoys the company of other people. Vincent has also been referred to as an intellectual, because of his sometimes know-it-all view on the world and philosophy.
While all this may seem like a pretty nice guy you'd want to meet, there is one defining flaw in his nature. Remember the narcissism that runs in his family? Well, Vincent wasn't a complete failure to his bloodline's etiquette. Vincent takes very good care of his hair. Some may view it as high maintenance, but Vincent refuses to alter his divine locks. It would also behoove you to not touch it, because your hands are dirty.
Your average school attire, customized to look as casual as possible. A small backpack, with a drawstring instead of straps, is all he carries on his person. In it is paper, pencils, and pens. He also carries a single ivory comb.
History: It takes a real dunce to not know the DuValle name. Royalty knows no conceit like that group of narcissists. Highly valued are their luxuries, and very well kept are their snobby composure. Unfortunately, there was a "taint" in the bloodline. A son who never cared for the finer things, and found solace in mingling with the less fortunate. As Vincent grew up, his younger years were plagued with unnecessary protocols given to him by his lineage.
It wasn't rare for him to disappear for nights at a time, simply to mingle with other kids his age during their recess. The teachers always questioned where Vincent had come from, knowing he attended none of their classes, but the kids never seemed to mind. In turn, this caused the teachers to not mind. All except for one. An unknown man who posed as a teacher, held a "night-job" in the field of vampire hunting. He knew what Vincent was, and despised the human ignorance that veiled his true identity. One day, this "teacher" chose to follow Vincent home. Vincent could smell the scent of the man, but was too oblivious at such a young age to question it.
That night, a mass of vampire hunters appeared on the DuValle estate. Their rage-filled eyes all glaring at the large, black-steel gates with disgust. A massacre broke out. Casualties plagued both sides, and Vincent was there to witness it all. Now, at his current age he realizes the truths behind the madness. He now vouches for talks of a new, and peaceful era, but his hands still stain the grounds with the blood of radical slayers. It is at this school, Bloodlust High, that Vincent continues to reach out to those not blessed with his powers, and not cursed by his fate.
