In a quiet suburb of Seattle, a tall figure dragging a huge axe walked down the street. "Belelim dela dela dchirdir, mela mela bacadilim tena." A female voice sung in a foreign language her mother used to sing her when she was little. It was a medley to keep her hopes up. Only zombies and bewildered, barbarian harbingers had crossed her path. For the tall female figure there was no place in the world for mindless drones or harbingers who couldnt control themselves and were only out to kill. A zombie came out from behind a house and slowly wandered towards the figure. The figure put her hood down revealing the face of a 20 year old girl with long silken hair and red eyes. With a swing of her axe there was the sound of blood splatter and the thump as the torso of the zombie hit the ground. "The name's Marisa and I am here to relieve you of your curse." A strike with her axe destroyed the zombie. She continued on through the suburb.

Memoru sat on a building looking at the swarms of zombies. "Tsk, this is so troublesome...." She mumbled and stood pushing her purple hair from her face grabbing her things, her violin case in her right hand. She ran down stairs hitting those that got close to her with the metal violin case as hard as she could manage. It was easy for her to take them down with the sturdy metal, with others she hit them with the wooden practice sword or kicked them down the stairs so they fell to their demise. She walked outside and saw the girl who looked to be in her twenties. "...." She put her violin case in her bag making sure it was safe.

Marisa saw a girl. The girl didnt look or act like a zombie. "Finally a human. I have only seen zombies and harbingers the whole way from Vancouver. Finally someone who talks or at least might not attack me on sight." Marisa said. She was happy to see the female human. Other humans attacked her or ran away as soon as they found out about her identity.

"I don't plan on attacking you. I don't see why I should or would. I'll only lash out at something if they attack me first." She shrugged slightly. She walked over to her staying quiet. She looked at a stumbling zombie and kicked it in the head as it opened it's mouth. "I'm kind of thankful these ones are so stupid. They make it too easy to hit them..." She mumbled softly.

"You have to watch out for the harbingers. They are smart and dangerous. They will seem human but if you trust them too much they will kill you. I met some but they gave away their identity too soon and I had to dispose of them. I am just happy that there is finally someone to accompany who might be worth befriending." Marisa said hoping that she didnt seem suspicious to the human as a harbinger.

She smiled softly and looked at Marisa. "I'm glad I'm not alone anymore. It's nice to meet you I'm Memoru. If it's easier for you you can call me Memo." She said softly, she had met two Harbringers. It was tough to fight them but she had won, which was obvious because she was still standing there not a zombie.

Maxwell sighed, slowly raising his pipe above his head. He smirked, teeth showing slightly. Stupid zombies. He brought the pipe down on its head, splattering blood on himself, the ground, and the pipe. "Sheesh... This is such a messy job..." His smile turned into a frown and he walked away, completely disregarding the mess he had made.
My name is Maxwell. I'm a survivor. At one point of my life the main problem was finding a job, now the main problem is how to stay alive and where to find food. I don't really care for killing, but here I wouldn't even call it killing. It’s more like...relieving these creatures of their curses... At least, that’s how I look at it.
He gripped his bloody pipe.
I've tried a lot of different methods, and the best so far is smashing, in my option, respectfully. But, you can pretty much kill a zombie with anything; you just have to know what points to hit, like their head. Smashing the head is how I play it, and it’s become a way I'm comfortable with. So, I think that’s how I'll be going my whole life.
He blinked and looked up at the sound of voices. "Other survivors? OTHER SURVIVORS!"
Maxwell gasped, hands coming up to his face. He excited yell echoed through the fairly abandoned suburb. With a laugh, he ran down from his post to look for the fellow survivors. Maybe things were brightening up, or maybe the humans were just being pushed into the same spot... Nah! He chuckled, feeling happier than he had been in a long time.
(Hi there!)

"Hi, I am Marisa. I walked all the way from Vancouver dragging this axe. The zombies were easy. The harbingers werent. So what are you doing here. I thought most of the survivors headed south. You have to watch out harbingers are close." Marisa said although the only harbinger close by was herself. But the others didnt know and shouldnt know. It would make Marisa kind of nervous, if the others suspected her to be a harbinger. She hoped that she would have some company on the way south and eventually find someone who has a cure for her. Even if there was no cure, Marisa hoped to at least be able to live in peace with the humans.

"Oh, a harbinger..." Maxwell's smile turned into a small frown. With a sigh, he ran a hand through his long bangs and peeked through the cracks. "I was heading south at first," he said while still frowning. "I had been traveling with a smaller group of survivors at one point, but I guess instincts snuck in and the group went separate ways." Maxwell made a tut-tut noise and gave a tiny smirk. "I really don't know what happened to them. As for me, it became clear that leaving wasn't going to be easy, and since I'm alone and I don't know why, but trouble seems to follow me…I decided to travel alone. So here I am, just hopping from town to town and seeing what I can do. You must have a story too, Marisa the harbinger. I'm all ears if you have time to spare."

"What? Me a harbinger? No. I just work out enough to be able to carry this axe." Marisa said with a nervous laugh. She set her axe down with the ground vibrating and the street denting in from its weigh, which made it more obvious that she was a harbinger. At this point, Marisa had no other choice than to admit it: "Okay. You got me I am a harbinger and I eat zombies, BUT I dont attack living humans. I just have wandered here from Vancouver, taking out zombies on sight and taking out those harbingers who seem to be dangerous to human life. Sometimes I reluctantly did the job, for example I came across a young girl who was a harbinger and couldnt control herself when she saw humans. I had to kill her. I didnt have any other choice. Since then, I have been looking for survivors who either keep me company or I could protect when it comes to harbingers."
