"Guilt? Such a word exists in this town? Because last I recalled, all of us were locked out from an eternity in hell because we felt no guilt, or rest. So ask me again; do I feel any guilt for wiping out nearly an entire school before killing myself? Let me remind you that I am not that girl anymore. I do not care who she was, nor what she did."

It's that time of the year again, folks. It's the time when you may finally kill any enemy of yours and rid them of this world for good. They'll be banished to hell forever, never to return back to the unholy town of Halloween again.

In this town lay the reborn dead, those who seek to punish anyone they wish, and the reborn living, who seek righteousness in the afterlife, even after they have commit harsh crimes when alive. It is only on October 31st that they are actually able to kill each other for good, because on all the other days of the whole year, everyone goes back to being immortal. No matter what, they won't die until the special day of Halloween, thus giving the town its infamous name.

However this town is only visible to the dead, and the only dead who are able to see it are the dead that live inside this mist-covered town. No regular human can just find it out of the blue. Well... some humans are special... to say... Some want to die, and feel so close to death that they are able to see what the dead see. Others waltz in, most unknowingly, into the town on October 31st, where it's presence can be felt by many humans easily.

But they won't last long... Oh no, they will most certainly not. In that towns lies devils of all shapes and sizes, and they will take all that they can from the living down to the bone to feel alive again.

It isn't safe.

In fact.

If a human stays for too long... they may never find their way back out.

Their souls will remain with the devils in the undying town of Halloween.

"Evociato spiritualis de septendecim valcyriius morteferis..." Laentina read from her spell book held open in her hand. Her other freehand was held over a large circle of red painted on her living room floor, or, at least, what was left of her living room.

There was a skeletal figure standing in the center of this circle, filled with detailed and complex designs. I was incredibly tall, look vicious, and had various spots where rotting flesh was left. An eye dangled from it's eye socket and maggots wriggled in the decaying flesh left on it's left cheek.

After Laentina read her anathema, human-like hands rose from the ground where the circle was drawn. Her feet remained just on the outside of the circle, and the opaque hands reached for her feet but were stopped by an invisible force and were drawn towards the bait left in the middle. The undead creature in the center was motionless as the hands began to violently and forcefully drag it down into the ground. Dark smoke concealed the taking of Laentina's demon to hell, and when it was all over, the circle vanished along with the skeleton and hands. Everything was gone.

She let out a sigh and flipped her book closed. She removed the glasses from her face and placed it along with her spell book on the table. "Another year's passed, hmm..." She thought out loud and approached the window, moving the shades just slightly so she could see whatever action was going on outside her house. She saw... what was that... was that a human?

'A human?' Laentina's eyes widened. Halloween was never a special day to her since there would always be someone to curse, and killing someone over and over again was much more satisfying than killing them once. But a human... they never wandered into their town of Halloween too often. This caught her interest, unlike all the other Halloween nights she'd experienced in that god forbidden town. 'Interesting...' She thought with an atrocious smile on her face. 'It's been a while since I've wanted to curse a human...'

However, just as she exited her house, a small demon had launched herself at her with incredible speed. But speed would never conquer a witch alone. With only one move of her arm, Laentina swung her scythe right across her body and beheaded the young demon. Her head fell first to the ground and rolled with a horrified look and the body followed right behind it by a millisecond. She gave the corpse a loving smile and said, "Sorry, dear, not tonight." The kiss she blew to the body burned an upside down heart on her shoulder that began to burn through the skin while Laentina walked a few feet behind the human girl with brown hair, the exact human who she so badly wanted to cursed.

But when she arrived at the scene, she found the human girl to be screaming, and the stall keeper, who Laentina hardly ever visited, dead with an axe embedded into his head. Icarus then pulled the axe out, blood dripping on the ground. She frowned. "Well." She began, leaning on her scythe and eyeing the stall keeper, human girl, and Icarus, the werewolf of the town. "I didn't come at a bad time, did I? Icarus, do tell me... is this girl your prey for tonight? If she's not, I'm going to take her." Her piercing green eyes looked the human girl up and down, like a vulture with its prey. "It's been a while... since I've dealt with a living person..." Laentina said slowly and greedily.

"Hyaaaaaah!"

A flaming blue sword sliced through a particularly troublesome member of the reborn dead and Oishi closed his eyes and sighed with contentment and slight disturbance as he heard the ghoul painfully splutter through its final moments.

"This fighting is fun as always... but I don't think I'll ever be fully used to this damned killing. Oishi thought solemnly to himself as he turned to see the enemy ghoul fall to the ground and contort as the searing heat from Oishi's hellfire still burned horribly in his wound, Oishi couldn't help but notice how the charred blue flesh resembled charred wood in a way, only... meatier... and with blue embers rather than red.

"Still... gruesome as some of these deaths may be... I'm not gonna feel bad for murdering assholes like that. I freaking hate ghouls anyway... creepy." Oishi watched with apathy as his opponents body finally settled into morbid twitching... before suddenly stopping altogether. Dead at last... and burning in Hell to boot, Oishi smirked as he thought about how his powers were sort of like an introduction to what he assumed was the Hellish torment awaiting all the evil bastards that would die that night.

Flicking his sword idly, Oishi splattered the blood boiling on his blades surface to the ground below him, where it faded away with a satisfying sizzle. He was fully awake and ready to go and so far he had managed to murder five whole reborn dead... granted they were all very weak and they all had oddly similar fighting styles to boot, but a death toll was a death toll regardless.

Slowly drifting into an alleyway and fading out of sight, Oishi began to move subtly throughout the town, keeping out of the general field of vision and looking for some more Reborn Dead to challenge... unfortunately and unexpectedly his efforts came up fruitless and he quickly realised that he had barely run into anyone at all. In fact, it was eerily quiet. How annoying! "I had hoped to get some serious action tonight... not just a few has beens who were practically looking to die! Gah... if I have to wait another whole year to dish out some justice then I swear I'll flip out. With those thoughts flowing through his mind and a pout slowly creeping onto his face, Oishi took the period of peace to think about what he was doing. He had been in Halloween for three years now... and the town was as close to a home to him as anything, he tried to make friends... something easier said than done... but he had had minimal luck. Now, don't get me wrong, Oishi enjoyed his life of badass monster hunting and demonic vengeance, but if there was one thing that bothered him... it was how lonely it all felt. There was a large part of him that missed his family... and- "No..." Oishi shook his head, he wasn't going to let himself get dragged down into that train of thought again.

"Though I've got to admit... I wouldn't mind some friendlier company..."

***

Oishi finally stepped out of the alleyways he was frequenting, he wasn't finding anything worth doing there and he decided that if he really wanted a fight, then he'd take the risk and go out into the open for all to see.

Or at least... that's what he planned to do until he spied the scene unfolding before him, just a little bit down the road.

"Damn... is that... Arthur? The stall keeper? Oishi muttered to himself and his eyes widened in shock as he saw three people gathered around the old vendors stall, a werewolf whom Oishi recognised, guy by the name of Icarus Nikio, was holding an axe covered in what looked to be fresh blood... and the stall owner, a kindly old fellow named Arthur whom Oishi talked to often, had a massive gash in his back with the remains of the old mans blood slowly seeping out.

Enraged, but aware that he was outnumbered, Oishi quickly retreated to a nearby alleyway, confident that he hadn't been spotted in the process. He quickly scoped out the competition crowded around the dead body... he recognised two of the three. Icarus Nikio, a speedy and dangerous werewolf... the first real threat he'd seen all night. Larentina Renato, a witch with a certain sway over the dead, she had powerful necromancy at her disposal and the thought of dealing with her and Nikio together was already putting some doubt in Oishi's usually overconfident mind.

The third party, however, was someone whom Oishi did not recognize... he had heard a scream a few moments earlier (not something uncommon in Halloween) but judging by the girls expression... there was a real chance she could have been the creator of such a high pitched squeal. Was she maybe... recently killed? Oishi knew that residents of Halloween killed on the night of the same name didn't come back... they were gone forever, hardcore mode. But something he didn't know was wether or not newly dead people could be reborn here for the first time on this most hallowed of eves...

Still there was a large, glaring scenario that Oishi was up to this point ignoring.

"No way... is she... alive? Oishi's eyes suddnly widened with realisation. Hadn't someone told him that even the most subtly spiritual of humans could see Halloween in all of its glory on the fabled night of pumpkins and candy? Could this girl be alive? If so then... Nikio and Renato.

"Oh no..."

Oishi had to do something... he couldn't fight Nikio and Renato AND keep this girl safe all at the same time. That would just get them both killed... no he needed to get the girl away, hidden and safe, after that, any reborn dead that knew about her could be destroyed... and then he could try to escort her out of town. That seemed like the best idea he could come up with on short notice... the big problem however would be getting the girl to safety while keeping Nikio and Renato at bay... Gah! But by the way those two were looking at her he somehow doubted that he had that much time... he had to attack... or...

"Hey... that might just work... not bad brain!"

Focusing a small amount of hatred to flow through his veins, Oishi's arms ignited in a barrage of basic orange fire... he didn't need anything strong, just flashy.

"Alright damn it... here goes nothing!

Rushing out of the alley, Oishi flailed both of his arms outwards and a massive wall of bright orange fire erupted and set Arthur the Stall Keepers body alight, with the initial display completed Oishi increased his flames to blue potency by making himself that much angrier and manipulated them into forming pillars in the ground... these pillars would form a temporary wall around the Reborn Dead, cutting them off from their prey... the strain of maintaining these flames was intense, but they didn't need to last very long.

In the chaos he ran up and grabbed the living girls wrist, tugging on it harshly he attempted to pull her along with him. In the heat of the moment (Haha! Heat...) Oishi's grip was loose n easily resisted, so he relied on the girl following him and hopefully picking up on his intention of saving her despite how overwhelming the whole experience must have been.

"Hurry it up kid! Unless you want to end up like old stall man Arthur here then I suggest you start running... and fast! That fire won't stay there for more than a few moments... and that's assuming they don't remove it sooner!

Evey was more than a little confused to say the least and feeling very much sick to her stomach, with the smell of the bread stand fading with each passing second so the stomach churning smell that was the city called Halloween. It was a dense putrid smell that hung in the air smelling of sulfur and death, this with the combination of an ax murderer and now a pale woman approaching him it was all proving too much for her. She wanted to run or pass out but she had neither the strength or the weakness to do either, just then the woman spoke and her words did something that Evey didn't think was even possible they frightened her even more that the corpse laying four feet in front of her. Words like 'prey' and 'take,' "who are these people?" she thought to herself, "and what do they want with me?"

It was all very confusing for the young girl as she had no idea what this town had in store for her, trying to get a sane head she thought that maybe it was just a few people getting way to into Halloween and dressing up, maybe it was a prank. The stall keeper wasn't dead and the two strangers were only messing around, then something happened that dashed all her hopes of it all just being fake. The dead body caught alight with fire and pillars of flame separated Evey from the others, suddenly a boy came from no where and grabbed her by the wrist tugging gently. All she could do was sit there and look at him wide eyed more confused than ever, she thought this might be a trick, that he was just as back as the other two and that he was leading her into a trap perhaps a fate worse than death.

"Hurry it up kid! Unless you want to end up like old stall man Arthur here then I suggest you start running... and fast! That fire won't stay there for more than a few moments... and that's assuming they don't remove it sooner!" It wasn't until he spoke that she moved slowly stumbling to her feet and shakily moving her legs so as to increase the distance between the psychotic murderers and herself. Her legs moved slowly at first then picked up speed as they went not being an athletic person Evey had trouble keeping up and her short legs didn't help much either. Her camera flung to and fro around her neck so she grabbed it with her free hand to keep it steady as they ran.

It wasn't until she felt like they were a safe enough distance away that Evey stopped putting her hands on her knees and bending over gasping for air trying to keep her heart beat down her condition was kicking in at the worst of times and she was sweating like a dog feeling like a million degrees. Her breaths came sharp and quick tumbling over one another to get into her lungs she nearly fell over once but grabbed onto a wall for support. Then a thought occurred to her, "didn't the stall keeper say his name was Javis?" Her breathing calmed and she looked up at her would be savior, who had referred to the shop keeper as Aurthur, with skeptical eyes taking a few steps back. She held up her polaroid at the boy taking a quick snap the flash lighting up the dark night and hopefully temporarily blinding him so she could make her get away. Turning her back and him and running as fast as she could in the opposite direction she knew she wouldn't be able to run for long but as long as she got out of sight and maybe made it in doors then she would be fine and come up with a plan then.

The site of a human was almost as startling to Icarus as the site of death was to Evey, he knew that humans could enter Halloween Town but it was very rare so there was a few possibilities with the child, either she could see spirits and ghosts and the like or she was very close to the end of her life. These were the only cases of humans finding themselves in this town that Icarus had knowledge of, and since she didn't look like a medium he figured the latter was true. Keeping this in mind he figured he would have to deal with her in a minute determined to finish his would with the shop keeper he pulled his ax over his shoulder about to make more holes in the man when Laentina showed herself. "I didn't come at a bad time, did I? Icarus, do tell me... is this girl your prey for tonight? If she's not, I'm going to take her."

Icarus let his ax drop behind him as he flung his hands up in the air in exasperation, of coarse as soon as a diamond landed in his lap someone else would want to take it away. Making a small circle in the dirt he turned around to face the witch. Knowing just how dangerous she could be he weighed his options, on one hand he probably one of the only humans that would enter tonight a rare gem that he could use as a bargaining chip to get other things that he wanted. However, in the time that it would take him to out maneuver Laentina and get the human away he could've spent precious time finding three times the prey that one human was worth she was powerful and he didn't feel like tangling with her, the decision was simple.

The werewolf made a deep and sarcastic bow smiling wide, "why Madam Renato, of coarse you can have such a puny human I can find better prey in half the time." but just as he said this the dead body beside him was alight with orange flames, immediately recognizing the flames he jerked his hand back which was hovering over the body just a moment ago. Pillars of flame blocked himself from the human and he saw who he expected to Oishi, the fooling reborn living who was so young and so naive that Icarus hardly bothered himself with the boy. Even with Icarus' incredible speed he allowed the demon to take the human losing more and more interest by the second. as the flames died down he turned to the witch, "Well I wish I could say it has been nice but, well you know. I must be off." And with that he seemed to disappear all together blurring into the night with speed and grace.

He made his way to the clock tower his regular meeting place with a certain contact who would be very interested to know that there were humans getting into Halloween Town. Icarus knew from past experience that when there was one that more were bound to follow if there weren't any more in the city than there were bound to be some coming in. This was very valuable information and he was thinking that he could get a few bottles of alcohol out of his acquaintance, when he made it to the top of the clock tower, which resided in the middle of town, Icarus came to a halt tipping his head back and letting out a howl into the night. It echoed off the buildings making it seem ominous and eerie, it was the sign letting the Leviathan know that he had information so all that he needed to do now was wait for the guy to show.

Image"why Madam Renato, of coarse you can have such a puny human I can find better prey in half the time." The werewolf said to the witch with a smirk on his face.

The witch, in return, smiled back. It looked so normal, just like a regular person would smile if they were alive, smiling at a friend. But what she was, what she has done, and what she said didn't match with that smile of hers. "Well, aren't you mighty confident about a better catch, Icarus Nikio." Her green eyes laid back onto the human girl. Sharp, green eyes that located prey in an instant. 'How interesting it'd be to actually curse a living creature for once.' She thought to herself. 'Which curse should I use? The one that brings misfortune? Maybe one that causes constant anxiety and worry until death? Mm... She's young as well. Perhaps I should make it so that everything she touches rots and wilts? That'd be interesting to see... Not that it'd have much of any effect here..."

"If you're willing to hand over the girl though... I'll gladly take her." Laentine reached out a hand, as if to grab the human girl and take her to her house, most definitely by force, to begin a curse ritual. Only the largest diabolic curses were preformed in her own house. Others she could say a simple few words and it would be done. But this was a special occasion. She wouldn't waste such an opportunity with a petty curse. No... definitely not. Laentina was interested in giving this human girl hell for the rest of her life.

That is, until flames of orange caught her eyes. Laentina immediately pulled her hand back from the girl and scowled angrily when she realized the one stopping her was the demon, Oishi Dojima. "Damned reborn living..." Laentina cursed with irritation. Within an instant, her eyes focused on the young demon and began to mutter, "Deprecor perpes algidus-" However, just before she could finish her curse, he had grabbed the living girl's wrist and ran for it. Somehow, it caught the witch off guard, and cut her just before she was going to finish her curse with a last word.

It would have been terrible unfortunate if the fresh demon hadn't ran away in time; Laentina's curse was one that inflicted intense cold on someone and would never end until death. But he was already dead, which meant eternal cold until she decided to reverse the curse, which she really couldn't since removing curses were not her specialty.

She had no wish to pursue the two, however. It was Halloween night, and she took little interest in making an effort to get back her prey. Laentina was no fighter either. She was only one to watch the fights from afar, only taking action when absolutely necessary. 'I can wait until another human walks into town. It's far too much an effort to dive headfirst into a wild goose chase.' She thought with a deep sigh.

"Well I wish I could say it has been nice but, well you know. I must be off." Laentina heard the voice of Icarus behind her. When she turned around to end the conversation on her end as well, she found no one behind her. He was gone, just like that.

It didn't seem to surprise her much. Everyone in this town had to learn one day to disappear from sight to avoid being killed. Especially on the night where their lives were majorly put at risk. "Don't go getting killed so soon, boy." She whispered, although she was certain now that she was only speaking to herself. Then, she heard complete silence, as if the air was telling her it was time to leave the scene, before any other reborn dead, or living, showed up to hunt.

On her way back to her house, probably to attempt summoning another demon of her own, she heard a slight humming in the distance. It sounded very familiar... When she decided to locate where the unusual humming was coming from and find the person, she only found it to be Akachan, an oni who she actually favored quite a bit. "Not done hunting for the night already are you, Akachan?" Laentina asked her. The night was still far from being over.

ImageEvey had done more running in the past five minutes than she had done in her entire life time, but she told herself that she needed to keep going in order to live. However all that running was making her heart beat frighteningly fast so when she felt like she couldn't run any more she stopped leaning her back against a building sliding down until she was kneeling trying desperately to catch her breath. She was beginning to get scarred that she wasn't going to stop panting but after a while she stopped clutching her chest and the heavy breathing subsided. When that happened she started to cry, everything was happening so fast for her and she wasn't sure what was going on she felt like she was stuck in a horror movie.

After a few minutes she dried her tears and pulled out her cellphone to call the police but her cell had no reception and another stream of tears fell from her eyes. Shakily she got to her feet putting her phone back into her camera bag slowly walking down the cobbled streets setting out for a police station or a hospital as she had twisted her ankle while running and was now walking with a slight limp. She wiped her face noticing that blood had gotten on it from Javis hastily wiping it away with her sleeve, not realizing that she had missed quite a bit of it she left it alone instead pulling her attention toward her camera hanging around her neck. The picture she had snapped before was still stuck in the printing slot so she pulled it out and took a look, she finally got a good look at the guy who had "saved her" if she could even call it that.

He wasn't too bad to look at but when she took a closer look she saw that he had small flaming horns on his head, upon seeing this Evey nearly dropped the picture in a flailing juggling act finally catching once more. Getting to terms with the horns she looked at his face giggling at the surprised expression on his face candid shots had always been her favorite. Just then she looked up from the picture realizing she had been walking for a while and looking around to realize that she had no idea where she was. A shop door next to her opened it was an older gentleman who looked relatively normal in appearance and spoke kindly, "excuse me miss, but what are you doing outside? You must not be from around here, what's your name?" Evey gave a small bow before replying,
"oh, I was just looking for my way home, my name is Evey, sir."
"Please don't call me sir, my name is Aurther and you should really come inside." Just then a howl was heard that seemed to come from everywhere at once and that's when something clicked in her head and Evey realized that she had made a huge mistake. Ignoring that mans calls after her she jogged back in the direction that she had come from in order to find that guy from before hating herself for acting so irrationally, the problem was that she had gotten so turned around from walking and running that she had no idea where to look for him. She stopped jogging and instead took to brisk walking the limp still present but barely noticeable, she seemed to be going in what seemed like circles when she stumbled onto two figures none of which were her horned savior but one who she recognized. Taking in a sharp breath she froze unsure of what to so and hoping that neither of them had seen her yet.

She looked for a few seconds then began to growl to herself. She sniffed the air and caught their scent. Yes, fools were there and were moving. She hated prey that could run away. Made getting a full course meal harder than it should be. She continued to hum her unsettling tone before hearing a familiar voice in the distance.

She turned only to see Laentina. She took a bit of liking to the woman; even looked up to her. Sort of. She turned and looked at the woman with her usual expressionless face. "Oh hello Laentina. I suppose it's nnot a surprise for you to be out and about. Trying to hex the unexpected again?" She knew much about what the woman did and what she could do. Akachan payed good attention.

"Im only out for food. But it seems that my only sources of protein are moving quickly. Did you by chance startle them?"She said while looking at her. She quickly looked around to make sure nothing was close by then sniffed the air again. "I can smell them now. Im so hungry. Im all out of heads to eat. Ill starve at this rate." She said with a slight whine. The girl began to rub her stomach before pausing.

Thats it. Laentina could move far faster than Akachan could. Together they would make quite the team. Laentina causing the chaos and Akachan raiding the spoils. Sounds like a good idea to me. "Laentina, could you perhaps accompany me on my hunt for food? Your so skilled and wise. Im sure you have a few tricks up your sleeves." She tried her best to make her compliments not give the woman a blown head.

She removed her heavy club from her back and slammed it against the ground making a loud noise that spread across the area. "We must move quickly though. I feel that there is many of us on this night. I don't want them getting a hold of my food. I need all the consumption i can get if I want to be a big and strong oni." She wasn't that big but she was already pretty strong. She clenched the handle of her club while looking at her. "Hmmm... I can already smell them. Not my food but THEM. The weird one with the eyes. Yeah, i remember his scent. And the dog man. His scents there too." She had memorized quite a few scents in her hundred years of living. It was something she was glad she picked up the skill as. "They aren't too far I suppose. But their not food. They won't taste good even if i tried."

ImageIt was no surprise to see Akachan wear an emotionless expression. In fact, most of the townspeople had a face that everyone had gotten used to because they wore it so long. Most of them were over 80 years old now, living in the same unholy town ever since their sinned death. "Oh hello Laentina. I suppose it's nnot a surprise for you to be out and about. Trying to hex the unexpected again?" The no spoke.

"Something of that sort." Laentina chuckled mischievously, but then she remembered how that new guy, Oishi Dojima, swept in and took what could have been hers. The smile on her face lowered and she frowned, muttering, "I was going to hex a living human, a living. Human. Girl. But then a newbie took her from me and now I don't have much of a feel anymore to go cursing people. If anything, I feel as though I've cursed myself with this horrid bad luck on the best night of the year."

"Im only out for food. But it seems that my only sources of protein are moving quickly. Did you by chance startle them?"

"I'm not quite sure." Laentina answered honestly, leaning on the tree behind her gently. "Perhaps. I suppose it was the sound of my shoes that scared them off."

"I can smell them now. Im so hungry. Im all out of heads to eat. Ill starve at this rate." The oni whined, and Laentina could even hear her stomach growling, making her wonder how long she had fasted for this day to come. "Laentina,"

"Mm?"

"Could you perhaps accompany me on my hunt for food? Your so skilled and wise. Im sure you have a few tricks up your sleeves." Usually, to a question like this, Laentina would recline for a few reasons. She never always worked well with a partner, since she never did before, and she always seemed to have something on her mind- something better to do than to help a hunting partner. But this time, she had lost her prey, and wasn't in the mood to do pretty much anything for that Halloween. A beautiful, bloody night, wasted in her house? That was something she refused to do.

Besides, Laentina had a liking towards Akachan. How could she refuse?

"I don't see why not." Laentina smiled her usual smile, one that showed promise, but some other depth of violence. Witches were never known to fight hand to hand like the other races did, and it was true that Laentina took no interest in that either, but there was always something about her look, her gestures, and her words that promoted some sort of violent inside her. "Lead the way, Miss Zugaikotsu, I'll follow right behind and do whatever you need."

"We must move quickly though. I feel that there is many of us on this night. I don't want them getting a hold of my food. I need all the consumption i can get if I want to be a big and strong oni." Akachan said after her incredibly heavy and large club hit the ground, causing a noise to echo throughout the town.

"It's expected." Laentina said as her head twitched towards the direction of some unknown screeching in the background. Most likely a random reborn dead or living killing the other, as usual. "Tonight's the night when we can finally kill someone, not that I feel any more closer to a mortal being."

"Hmmm... I can already smell them. Not my food but THEM. The weird one with the eyes. Yeah, i remember his scent. And the dog man. His scents there too. They aren't too far I suppose. But their not food. They won't taste good even if i tried."

Laentina looked around, wondering if they were in sight, but didn't see either of the two in sight. The 'weird one with the eyes' must have been Leviathan, a reborn dead who she, too, was quite fond of, actually, and the 'dog man' must have been Icarus, who she had just encountered not too long ago. 'Those two know each other...?'[/color] Laentina wondered with curiosity. This seemed to have caught her interest. "Even if they don't taste like good food, I'm certain they must be up to something. I didn't even realize the two knew each other... Akachan, would you mind if we located them before your meal, if that is possible? I promise I'll help you hunt until the end of the night if necessary." [b]'Because I'm piqued by this situation...' Laentina thought.
