"Nice death glare, kid. I give it a solid 4, maybe 5 outta 10. Try getting rid of the fact you're three years my junior and haven't seen real combat, and maybe I'll actually be intimidated." He said, keeping his voice low while Kazuki was introducing himself to Miiko so the two wouldn't really hear Axel telling him so, then he extended a hand to Miiko to shake. "The name's Axel. Axel Lerate, it's a pleasure to meet you. I should be a senior, but I had to leave for a year due to family issues, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask..." Axel was amazed he wasn't freaking out. "And you're a shapeshifter, you said? Are there any limits you've found so far? There was one guy two years back who could even change his gender, but couldn't shapeshift into anything bigger than himself."
Yuji cut the glare seeing as it was no use. He was not very intimidating unless he because serous. Yuji did not trust the new guys, there appearance was a bit to quick after the incident with Miiko and Yuji did not like perverts. Although after what happened I don't think I have much room to talk seeing as I started the incident . The first guy Introduced himself as Kazuki. He seemed like a relaxed kind of guy from the way he was standing. Miiko nicely introduced herself. The second one was more annoying he had a aura about him that screamed Ego-maniac. Yuji was overconfident himself, he knew that but this guy looked like he was trying to be a know it all. At lest that's how he felt that he came off as. At least they don't seem like bad people. Yuji was more anoyed by the hand on his head. Yuji shaked it off with a bit of a gruff.
Yuji now found himself with four people around him, one of which was ether supper angry at him or though he was scary pervert, probably both. Yuji had to remind himself to say sorry again to her latter. Still today he had more interaction with people then he did in the last month. "Hey I have been though enough fight's and you cant be more then one or two years older then me!" Yuji said as calm as he could seeing as he was still a bit fluttered.
"Im Yuji" He introduced himself and held out his hand so ether one of them could shake it, this was the correct way to greet someone after all. "My power is called absolute reconstruct." Yuji did not like giving out info on his powers but if he gave no info to anyone it would seem like it was some horrible secret. Being honest and telling people what they need to know was what he was comfortable with.
Miiko shook her head at Axel's question, "no I can turn into just about anything." Except inanimate objects, she could try, but it usually was painful and she couldn't last very long as say a chair, or a lamp. Shifting in general was a painful change, all of your bones snapped and reformed, you grew hair all over your body, even your teeth changed. It wasn't something Miiko liked going through.
"What can you guys do?" The small girl asked curiously, bouncing on her heels. She loved meeting new people, except adults; they scared her a bit as she had seen up close what an adult without powers could do when they were mad. Miiko heard Yuji's quip at Axel and wondered how someone could make an enemy so quickly.
The giant bell on the clock tower rung and Miiko jumped a bit, surprised. She checked her own watch to see that it was already lunch time. "I wonder what they're serving in the lunch room," Miiko mumbled aloud, looking from her watch to the school. "Does anyone wanna come see what there is to eat?"
He laughed a bit, more from being used to having the new bloods ask about his powers than the thing about cannons, then turned back to Yuji. "And based on the name you've given your power, Yuji, I guess making pancakes out of nowhere is sadly out of the question, so that only leaves the capacity to take any material and rework it to your desires. Are mass and density barriers to your powers? Or does your power totally destroy the rules of physics?" Before Yuji could answer, Miiko invited them to eat lunch, and like a mad scientist in his lab, Axel completely forgot the current topic of powers and smiled.
"You're in for a treat, the school's got food fit for king! At least, I think so. Personal opinion may differ." There were few things that could so easily distract Axel from any topic the way food did.
Miiko's eyes widened, good food? That was something she had not had in a long, long time. "Alright then let's go!" Miiko began to walk, forgetting about the current tension and situation that had just happened. She hoped that she could continue to make friends so easily in her class as right now the only friends Miiko seemed to be making were with her upperclassmen.
Freshman, or fresh meat as she had often heard her age group being called were apparently the most annoying and least civil group among the school systems social tier. Miiko hoped that she could rise through the ranks quickly, she hated being seen as weak and being underestimated although most of the time it was an advantage. Back home no one suspected that the girl was capable of doing anything, but at Blossom Crest looks were not everything.
