Dalton's apartment: Finley

Finley began smiling despite herself. She couldn't believe she actually started to believe this lunatic, even for a second. Okay, so there was the hand thing. Must be some creepy magic trick. "But what was that feeling inside of me? That.. longing for..his blood? No it couldn't be.. it just looked so.." She thought, then abruptly cut off her own thoughts. She couldn't want someone's blood.

"Whoa, if you die, I die? And what's with this whole relationship thing..? I am not your child, first of all. My body is adequate? Well, thanks." She said, surprised. She appreciated the compliment, especially from a guy as good looking as Dalton. He continued to speak, saying something about a club. "Eden? That's the best night club in Manhattan, I've only gotten in twice and it was amazing.. I don't remember you. Funny, I think I would remember you, considering.. your.. charming personality, and attractive appearance." She smirked at him. She was thinking about playing along with whatever game he was playing. If he was playing one at all. She couldn't decide whether he was being serious or not. Either way, she found herself wanting to believe him anyway.

"Okay security isn't really my style; I dance." Finley said and crossed her arms as he picked up a katana and said the facts about it. She let her feet hit the ground as she stood up and stretched out her arms and back. "I know Brazilian Jujitsu, 2nd degree black belt, and a little bit of judo," She said casually and searched the wall for a gladius. She picked one of them and weighed it in her hand. She had decided to ignore the part about stabbing someone. It's not that it grossed her out, she would be able to do it, considering she was trained with similar weapons in Jujitsu, she just wasn't fond of the idea of even needing to use that kind of weapon.

She couldn't understand why she was so comfortable with him. Her only explanation was that it was because he was shockingly attractive, he hadn't killed her yet, and she was getting a free ride into Eden. Andy was going to be so jealous. "Andy. Holy shit, Maggie!" She thought and glanced at Dalton. She looked down at herself. She was wearing what she had been wearing when she was.. chosen. A simple black bra with a lime green tank top, and plaid pajama shorts. "I'm going to need to go to my apartment. I can't go to the club in this." She gestured to herself. "By the way, since we are like connected now, do we have to be together all the time? Am I going to be living with you?" She didn't sound fond of the idea, but her face had more to tell. A small smile was playing on her lips. "Anyway, my apartment isn't too far from Eden.. It won't take me that long to change and.." She trailed off and looked at him.

"What the hell am I getting myself into?"

Tyler Feliciano Firefield
~ Tyler's apartment~

"So please tell me Tyler, what happened?"

Lily demanded the answer right after she took the first sip of the tea and Tyler sighed. No more delay, he guessed. He took a seat on the bed next to Lily and said in a very serious voice "Lily Wildrose...you are no longer a human...you're only half human now...and the other half...well..." He fidgeted. What was he going to tell her now? How could he tell her that she was turned into a half-vampire, one of the most hated creatures in the vampire community? He continued without looking into her eyes "Ya see...there are things in this world that humans think only exist in myth...like werewolves...or vampires for example. You, Lily Wildrose...can consider yourself one of the creatures in the Myth now..." He stood up from his bed, too uncomfortable sitting next to her. "I am one of those creatures, too...I'm a...well...I'm a vampire" He finally admitted and began to re-tell her everything. Taking a deep breath, Tyler took a sip of his tea.

"Everything started like this. As you have known, there are many things in this world that humans cannot understand or don't believe in. Like us...my coven...my family, we are vampires...uhm...we are not mindless monsters and we live with our coven in this city for a while now. Humans have laws and so do the vampires. Our leader...has broken one of the laws...he killed a fellow vampire and therefore, the entire coven was punished by it, including our leader. We are given a blood bond each. Now, this is the part where you come from, Lily"

He stopped to catch his breath and smoothened a lock of golden hair on his head. It was harder than he thought, telling the entire thing. He was being reminded harshly once again that this was Eldric's fault and he had to endure because of it. He took another sip of his tea and traced his finger on the nightstand, trying to distract himself from reality without much success. Decided to continue his tale, Tyler said, his voice was only slightly above a whisper.

"...err...the council...they captured a bunch of humans...that includes you, Lily and forced us to make a bond with you guys...basically, we will have to turn you into half-vampires. We will become...kinda your creators...like parents...sort of...now, to the tea thing...you are right about that part...there's a reason why that tea tastes better than your normal tea...it is mixed with my blood in it."

He stood up and began to pace back and forth, he felt so stressful now...He didn't even think he could handle her and he feared that he would only see the human in her. But she was not a human...at least, not completely. He should be able to see her vampire half, too...but why? Why did he, whenever he looked at her, only see a mere human and not a noble vampire? He said at last, finishing his little speech

"Basically, you can't return to your family...or friends...or contact anyone...really. Unless you want to be experience on like a lab rat. Or worse, being captured and forced to go into a mental institution...you will have to obey the vampires' rules and you're my responsibility...if you break a rule, I will be punished along with you...and vice versa...Furthermore, you can only drink my blood once a while...and I...well...I have to do the same thing...ya know...the drinking thing? Yeah, that. The ups in this situation are...well, you'll be stronger than most humans...heal faster, run faster...ya know, that kind of stuffs...I know you're not happy with the situation but trust me, I'm not, either. However, if you don't want to be killed like some kind of cockroach, you will have to endure it...I will try to release you as soon as possible...If I find a way. Do we reach an understanding? Do you have anything else you'd like to ask?"

He asked finally and crossed his arm, waiting for her to speak or ask. Well, it was fair, he guessed. He only wished it wouldn't be this troublesome. He hated being bothered.

Eldric Caine Devine

"I could always walk into your club barefoot with a bloodied shirt. I'm sure people will adore the look." That did pose a bit of a problem. He had never really brought home anyone that was as tall as Haylee. Not that it mattered. He didn't want his blood bond wearing something as skanky as the normal humans did.
Kasey was about Haylee's height, just a bit shorter and the two looked pretty similar in stature. Long legs, toned upper body..

"I've got a member who's about your size." Eldric said grasping the doorknob lightly. "She'll probably hate that I'm letting you use them... but Adriana and Maria are too short and small..." It was too bad, both Aria and Addy were much mellower than Kasey was. She could deal with it.

The coven did hang out here often. It was usually Eden or here. So of course there would be some spare clothing lying around somewhere. He was the coven leader after all and his apartment was the biggest by far. It wasn't that he liked showing off his money, in fact, he had talked the owner into a measly price. He agreed it was a rip off but he gave her a free pass to Eden. He only gave it to her, knowing she wasn't the party type. Yes, he was cruel.

"So, wait here, I'll be back in a second." Eldric smiled at her, actually meaning his statement literally, and stepped out of the gloomy room. His blue eyes located the clothing box where he had stuffed Addy's, Aria's, and Kasey's clothes. He ran over to get them from the closet downstairs and was back up quickly. The box tucked under his left arm. He was back in less than a second.

"Here you go. The box is mixed so just pick out ones that fit you. They're all pretty decent quality so there shouldn't be any complaints." Eldric said and put the box at her feet. "I'll wait outside."

He exited the room and shut the door. She better not be too picky. He was late as it was.

Eldric's Apartment: Haylee

"I've got a member who's about your size." Haylee glanced at him, arching a brow. "She'll probably hate that I'm letting you use them... but Adriana and Maria are too short and small..." Maybe her bloodied clothes wouldn't be so bad after all.. The thought of a girl full-on attacking her over clothes was a bit weird. But, if this girl was like Eldric, she didn't know. Thinking of it simply made her jaw clench. She watched him open the door, staring at the freedom that lied ahead.

No, she thought, gaze flickering out the window. She looked back briefly when he spoke once more, figuring she'd have a little while to wait. Slowly, she made her way over to the bed, tossing herself back on it. As she done so she sighed. This room really was depressing, almost like a prison. It was smothering her. She didn't have much time to think, however, because not even two seconds later Eldric was back. Haylee sat up quickly, standing in the same fluid movement. Curiosity smoldered in her gaze. That was amazing..

Watching Eldric place the box at her feet, she pressed her lips into a straight line. He could have just handed it to her.. Unless he was in fear of touching her again. Haylee shrugged at the thought, watching him leave the room as she bent down, retrieving said box. Walking over she plopped it on the bed, opening it quickly. Did he sleep with each of his female "coven members?" It would explain why he had their clothes. She gingerly picked up a large, white tee shirt. A man's shirt that had somehow got tossed into the mix of women's clothing. So, he liked males as well?

Her lips twitched as she fought a grin. What was she getting herself into agreeing to all of this? She dug around little more, mixing and matching articles of clothing she assumed came from the same person. Eventually, she matched up an outfit that wasn't exactly to her liking.. But it'd do, for now. No doubt about it, Haylee would either have to go home and get her clothes.. Or go buy new ones. She wasn't a picky girl and didn't like expensive things; thanks to growing up with all guys.

Shimming from her clothes quickly, she scooped them up and tossed them on the bed. She cast a glance at the door warily, just waiting as if the guy would walk back in at any moment. Eyes still on the door, she began tugging on articles of clothing as fast as possible. She noticed she was moving a lot faster then she ever could. Once everything was in place, she slipped on the leather jacket, tugged on the shoes, and her outfit for the night was complete(without the clutch and necklace). She was surprised she wore the same shoe size as the girl..

Haylee twisted around swiftly to gaze into the single, full-length mirror across the room. It would have to do. Running her fingers through her thick, black hair to check for any knots, she moved towards the door, pulling it out of her way. "Okay, ready." she mused, icy eyes flickering to Eldric. She wasn't too sure about all this. Hopefully, the owner of the clothes she was wearing wasn't too crazy. Haylee could handle a lot, but it wouldn't take her long before she'd start throwing her own punches. "You know.. I still have a lot of questions I want to ask you." she said slowly, watching his face for any key reaction. Particularly one question was what she would have to do tonight. Would she have to stay by him, since she was his "bond," or could she roam around? She needed to know these things, because honestly.. Haylee hated restrain.

Lily Sofia Wildrose

Lily watched Tyler curiously as he sat next to her on the bed. Slowly, he began to explain in a deathly serious voice. First he told he she was no longer completely human, and fidgeted a little. Her brow furrowed and she tilted her head, but she didn't make a sound. He then went on to tell her that she was the kind of thing that is talked about in myths, and so was he. He was a vampire. Tyler stood and avoided her gaze.

Her expression seemed more perplexed and confused now. Was he crazy? He seemed very stressed and uncomfortable telling her this story. He explained to her that he was part of a coven, and his coven leader had broke. One of their laws. So they where given a blood bound as punishment. He looked at his nightstand for a moment, touching the wood before he continued on.

He told she and a bunch of other humans had been captured and the vampires had been forced to make a blood bond with them. As he explained, the images in her head cleared slightly. She remembered waking up in front of Tyler, as he cut his neck and forced her to drink his blood, then she caught a flash of his fangs just before he had bitten her.
Biting her kip, she flinched as her memories came back to her. It hadn't been a dream. And now, she believed that he actually was a vampire. He wasn't crazy.

Lily choked on her tea when he said it was mixed with his blood. She slowly out it down in the nightstand, looking pale. So that was the sweet taste that she remembered- I was his blood. The terrible part was that she had liked it. It had soothed the mild ache in the back of her throat.

She closed her eyes and listened to the rest of his story. She had to give up her life, they had to drink each others blood, and if either of them screwed up, they would both have to pay for it. He was her 'creator'. She felt sick.
"I believe you. But at first, I thought you where insane." she admitted very quietly.
But she was angry. Why her? Why was this happening? She had to get away. He was a vampire, and he was going to feed off of her. She also had to feed off of him. Lily felt trapped. There was no way out of this.
Slowly, she deflated a little and calmed down. There was nothing either of them could do. "A few questions: Do I have to live with you now, and how often do you plan on feeding off of me?"

James Stephens | Kasey's apartment

"Well aren't you a little rebel. I see you didn't inherit that charming personality from your parent's, hm?"

James laughed.

"Well, you know how it is. Kids never want to be like their parents, only I didn't get around to their type of thinking because mine are either worse or I'm one of the few stubborn ones. That and I'm smart handsome, clever, sweet, what more could you want?" James told her with a grin. Well, she was easy to talk to, that was a plus and she was drop-dead gorgeous, literally. He watched her pour herself a drink, reminding him how long it had been since he had a drink. Damn, he had been sober for at least 24 hours.

"I wouldn't use the word slave since you're free to do whatever you want within the confines of my authority. A blood bond is basically a human that a vampire was forced to change into a halfling - a half vampire, half human. Since I changed you, you already know I'm responsible for you." At that, she took a big drink out of her glass. It seemed that she didn't want to be responsible for him or anyone for that matter. James could understand that. He wouldn't want to be burdened with bringing someone new into her world either.

"Mhmm. You get to drink my blood."

James winced slightly. Well, he knew that blood had to be in there somewhere and at least he only needed to drink her blood rather than draining random strangers. Irreverent and rebellious he may be, but he didn't think he could stand having to murder people to survive. It was true that he was a bit religious, only not in the judgmental kind of way that his mom and her group of friends loved to be. He rolled his eyes at her next statement.

"And I'm aware you need my blood to survive, but you're gonna have to put in some work before you get to that point, girly. Need a drink yet?"

"Blood or wine? Because, I don't think I'm craving anyting except a buzz at the moment," he told her honestly before giving her a grin, "At least my mom's right now. I am a demon child!"

Dalton's apartment: Dalton

"I know Brazilian Jujitsu, 2nd degree black belt, and a little bit of judo."

Dalton actually smiled at that. He had studied many fighting styles in his long time on earth and it was nice to see that this halfling wasn't completely hopeless. In a sparring match, he'd take her down in a few seconds, of course, but that was a couple seconds longer than most mortals or halfings would last. At her next comment, however, he frowned, considering the possibilities.

"I'm going to need to go to my apartment. I can't go to the club in this."

On one hand, he could send her ahead and trust that she will report to him as soon as she changed, but there was a chance that she would tell other people about what was happening and the human authorities would come after them, assuming they were a fringe-cult. Part of him would enjoy this challenge, easily showing the pathetic human policemen that their firearms were nothing compared to his speed and skill with weapons, but that would also mean that they'd have to relocate and he was loathe to make trouble for the Coven.

"I will walk you there. Then, we will head straight for Eden afterwards. As for living arrangements, it would be best if you lived with me. Your neighbors would notice your un-aging appearance and perfect health after a few years, a decade at the most. It would be best not to attract that kind of attention," he told her, heading out the door that served as the entrance/exit to his apartment, gesturing her to follow him. He left a certain concern unspoken, deciding to wait for her to realize it and deal with it.

Dalton's Apartment: Finley

She became almost instantly angry at his comment about walking her there. She didn't need to be protected, but she realized that wasn't the reason. She was even more upset he didn't trust her. Well, why would he? If he had let her go alone, she probably would have ran away to Cali again. She frowned as he kept speaking. She was feeling light headed. Thank god the wine is kicking in more. She sighed turning and making the bed a little bit, she didn't want to seem like a slob. "We have to live together? Can't I just move out later?" Finley was going to keep arguing, but she decided to leave this alone. She didn't want to make him mad and not let her go home.

She walked out the door and asked another question. "Does this mean I can't see my friends or family anymore? Can't I tell them about this?" All she could think about was Maggie and Andy. She already knew the answer, of course she couldn't tell them. She wanted to cry, but she didn't want to in front of Dalton again. "Woah, wait a second. That's your apartment. Just.. That." She stated, not in a rude way, though. Fin blinked a few times, "I-- I'm not sleeping on the floor, am I?"

She couldn't decide what was worse: the floor or sharing a bed with a complete stranger. She decided the floor was worse and impatiently waited for his answer. She was also eager to get home. She needed to call Maggie and apologize for not being there today. And she needed to feed her pet bunny, Maia. She grimaced when she realized she'd have to tell Andy she was moving. If she was moving. She was planning on bringing it up again at her place.

Tyler Feliciano Firefield
~ Tyler's apartment~

[justify][size=90]Tyler silently observed Lily's attitude as she said quietly "I believe you. But at first, I thought you where insane." Tyler laughed bitterly. Well, he hoped he was insane, too...But no, this was the sane part of his mind talking. Tyler sighed. Could this day get any worse? He rubbed his temper, attempting to calm himself down. It was not an easy task as his mind constantly jumped from one topic to another. What was he going to do with her? Where would she stay? How could he tolerance her? How were they going to co-exist with each other? A part of his mind whispered to him that maybe she was not that bad but another part stubbornly disagreed. He flinched as he heard her question, too deep in thoughts to notice.

"A few questions: Do I have to live with you now, and how often do you plan on feeding off of me?"

Tyler frowned slightly and began pacing again. Finally, he stopped and replied "Well, you don't have to...well, live with me. Not if you don't want to. But I suggest you live in my apartment for a few days before I can find you an apartment in this building...I'm not sure if the others are this generous but well...That's just me talking" He tapped his cheek and chose his words carefully for the next question. It was not that he was uncomfortable with the question, he just didn't want to startle the woman. Sighing, he said

"Maybe once a month or something...I don't really know how strong the urges will be since I have never had a blood bond before...I will try to improve my self-control but I won't promise anything...if worse comes to worst, once a week, I guess...I will have to ask the others about it"

He gave her a pointed look and continued tiredly "It's not like I enjoy it, you know...as for the rules you have to keep...err...I have a rule book if you want to read. I suggest you rest for now...I will lie down on the couch a little bit, too...it has been a busy week for me and my family"

Eldric Caine Devine*** His apartment

Eldric leaned against a wall as he waited for Haylee to dress. He wasn't used to waiting for things. His coven members finished things in efficient time. Humans were so slow. It bothered him. "She's certainly taking her sweet time." He muttered to himself. His skin was ithcing to get outside into the night. The time where he thrived and actually lived. Eden was a success and the most popular club in New York. It was very picky in who was let in and who wasn't. Eldric was succeeding in making the club's reputation grow and expand.

It wasn't as if he or his coven needed the money. It was just a little challenge to amuse him for the moment.

Finally, the door opened and his blood bond stepped out. Hopefully Kasey wouldn't go too wild. It would be funny to see her lose control though. It was always funny to see her get mad.

"You know.. I still have a lot of questions I want to ask you."
Haylee said and he gave a little dip of his head to show he had heard before making his way down the stair case.

"I'm sure you do." Eldric murmured. He gave her a small smirk. "I'll answer a few."
He really didn't like talking to humans. They weren't too interesting. It was the physical stuff he was after and all he said was just to achieve that goal. The less words used, the better. There was no point in trying to converse with simple minds.

"Ask away, girl." He said. "But do it quickly. I have things I've got to do. A leader's got responsibilities he's got to handle."

Lily Sofia Wildrose
~Tyler's apartment

Lily was tempted to leap forward and hold Tyler still as he paced. She got an odd, sort of detached sense of stress. Was this what he was feeling? Maybe their bond was deeper then she had thought, and they could feel each others emotions. She shuddered at the thought of having to be so close to someone. It they had to be connected to each other for the rest of their very long lives, then she couldn't really hide her secretes from him like she did with everyone else. She couldn't help but be fearful. Not of him hurting her, but of him taking down the walls she so carefully built to protect herself. She wrapped her arms around her legs.Nervously, she rubbed an old-looking ring, that looked almost like a vine made of silver that wrapped around her finger once. It was the only thing she had of her mothers. Lily hated her mother for what she put her through- but she still was her mother.

Tyler spoke, making her look up and tearing her from her thoughts. He told her it was best she stay here until they could find her an apartment in his building, and that he wasn't sure if the others where this generous. A light laugh, like a windchime escaped her. "Oh, so I got the softie." Her worried expression relaxed as she smiled at him playfully. He was a little vague, explaining that he had never had a blood bond before. "Just don't starve yourself to the point to where you rip open my throat in my sleep."

He seemed tired as he explained that he didn't enjoy this, and he had a rulebook if she wanted to read it. She shook her head. "You would be crazy if you did enjoy this. A stranger, being forced into your life."
When he said he would lie down on the couch, she rolled her eyes. "There is no way I would make you sleep on the couch. Come on over." Lily moved to the edge of the bed, so he could lie down. "Well, since we are going to being seeing a lot of each other, you might as well tell me a little about yourself." She shifted, still uncomfortable with the position they had both been put in, and tucked her legs underneath her as she watched him curiously. "Like, what to you do for a living? Am I going to meet your coven?"

Dalton's Apartment: Dalton

"Does this mean I can't see my friends or family anymore? Can't I tell them about this?"

Dalton smiled slightly. It was about time that the girl caught on. He looked at her directly in the eye and spoke, "No, you cannot tell anyone about this. Doing so will violate one of our Laws and will merit extreme punishment upon myself as I am responsible for you and I in turn will be sure to punish you tenfold. I suppose you can see your friends and family, but you will have to sort of... drift away from them. Humans do that nowadays, do they not? It would be best if they forget about you... I suppose I can project a mental suggestion upon them to make it easier. Human minds are very easily manipulated."

At her comment about his apartment, he rolled his eyes, "No. That was not it. You would find that you and I moved rather quickly if you'd recall. Remember that you move faster than the average human. You simply did not bother to see the rest of the apartment."

He gestured behind them, showing her the rooms, decorations, and other features she may have missed including a kitchenette, living room, bathroom, and a guest room, along with many other weapons that lined the walls. He smirked, "You will need to get used to your new senses and other abilities. I suppose I will have to teach you."

"Oh." She said as he told her no. "I figured." She shot him a glare. Tenfold? What the hell was that supposed to mean? And wasn't he supposed to be keeping her safe? "No, not all humans do that. I won't drift away from my sister. I refuse." Or Andy. She crossed her arms. "No mental suggestions either. That's messing with free will. This was not going to be easy.

She looked around, "Oh," she said again. She hoped the guest room had a bead as comfortable as Dalton's. "Yes, oh mighty teacher, tell me your ways!" She smirked, she was kidding, but not totally. He was arrogant. That was a bad thing, because guys like him were right up her ally. She began walking again. "Are we going to my apartment or not?" She was extremely impatient. She huffed out the breath she hadn't realized she's been holding. This was not going to be an easy eternity. Then a thought came into her mind. I could sneak away one night, fake my death, Dalton would never know. Me and Andy could go back to California... Wait, he said we're connected. He would know I'm alive. The only way to escape would be to actually kill myself.. "So, how does one go about killing a vampire? Or a blood bond? Chopping of their head? Burning? Wooden stake through the heart?
