Marvin Ivan Barrow
Goes By / Nicknames:
Buck, Bucky, Marv
Gender:
Male
Race:
White
Birth Date:
May 5th
Age:
22 Years Old
Sexuality:
Straight
APPEARANCE
Height:
6'3"
Scars/Tattoos/Piercings:
He's got a scar about 12 inches long on his left side from a knife fight he had gotten into earlier in his teens.
Buck never told anybody about the fight and what it was over, not even his brother or wife. He also has two
tattoos, one is a black, nautical star on his right wrist, and No. 2 is next to the star (fairly smaller and in the
font "Carnivalee") and it is the date he and Blanche got married, December 21st (12|21)
Buck has well-kept (but messy) dark brown hair, almond shaped eyes with baby blue iris', and a short, trimmed
beard. His peachy-pale skin is questionable, mostly because he's southern to his roots (Although, he gets much
of a farmer's tan). He is muscular, a fine frame, and is well-built, mostly because of the work he does. Usually,
Buck wears an under shirt and a regular pair of briefs with a worn plaid shirt and either overalls or a pair of
Wrangler jeans. He always wears a pair of hiking boots or ranch boots, what ever he does that day. On special
occasions, he wears a nice white dress shirt, khaki slacks with khaki suspenders, polished dress shoes, a khaki
or navy blazer, and some sort of bow tie or tie Blanche picks out for him (He is definitely not the formal type).
PERSONALITY
Weaponry:
Buck's first class gun is a Remington 700 VSL -308win with a scope or a Marlin double-barrel Shotgun 336SS.
His secondary gun is a classic .44 Magnum, a Desert Eagle, or a M9 (Hunting to military like pistols - interesting).
Skills:
Buck is no doubt good with his hands (in absolutely every way). He also has keen eyes. He isn't too lucky,
but he is seen as a lucky person, and he'd like to be that way. Buck is also a charmer, a smooth talker, has a way
with the ladies, but his No. 1 and only will always be Blanche. Unfortunately, the only thing he lacks in is his
intelligence, or so everyone thinks. But once you really get to know him he's "Smarter than the average bear."
Buck is very social, and loves to talk. Everybody laughs at him though, since he talks about as southern as a Beverly
Hills Hillbilly, so he doesn't talk to much around strangers. Buck is always moving in someway, not only because he's
outgoing, but his ADHD kicks in a lot. It's rather funny, because when it's morning, you can often see him walking
around the house, coffee and paper in hand. Buck is also quite eccentric, has sometimes an odd sense of humor, and
no doubt an animal lover (Cats, dogs, horses, you name it, he loves it, except if you put a spider to his face, he'll scream
like a little school girl).
Mentally, Buck is a very happy person. He loves the great outdoors and such. Buck also loves being with the people he
loves. Physically, though, his face can be weather-worn and it looks like he has something to be sad about most of the
time. Nobody really understands Buck on a personal level except probably Blanche, and he is really deep despite what
townsfolk think. He is also a gentle man, especially toward animals (He's read "Of Mice and Men" when he was younger,
and he was scared for life). Of course, Buck has some cons as well...
Buck is known to smoke and drink when he has the blues, and things normally get bad when he does. The knife fight,
the reason of him ever being convicted, most everything falls apart. Also, whenever he isn't sober, he gets really
aggressive. That's why he tries to stay positive most of the time, so he doesn't hurt anybody or anything. Yet, lately,
things have been getting out of hand, and he finds it harder and harder to prevent his former addictions getting
the best of him.
HISTORY
Relationship Status:
Married to Blanche Frasure
Family:
Clyde Barrow (Brother)
Known Languages:
English
Spanish (Some he caught on from Blanche)
Buck grew up in a a brood of eleven, being one of the youngest. He always looked up to Clyde in some way, weather
it was doing a "good deed" or pulling a prank on a brother or sister. But, as time went on and he grew up, Buck finally
tried to do something for himself. He moved on from the family and tried to provide things from himself and by him-
self. Things quickly changed, though, after he got arrested for the knife fight he had with some uppity, snooty people.
The day he met Blanche was the best day of his life, at least to him it was. He vowed he would never loose her, no matter
what happened to him or what her past was like. Buck was enthused when she had agreed to be his wife, and made
every effort to keep her happy. He was even proud when she supported him through jail time, and when he got out of
jail, Buck knew the only way that they would have a bit of insurance was with his brother Clyde. And with that, they
moved on to the gang.
Other:
'When You Leave That Way' by Confederate Railroad is one of his favorite songs.
