Stage Name: He's never really been a fan of them, so none.
Age: 29

Appearance: Standing at about six foot tall even, Liam is a decently sized young man albeit a little on the thin side - not quite has much as he was in his youth, his arms slightly muscled from lugging equipment around and some working out when he has the time. He has blue eyes and long light brown hair which comes down to his shoulder blades, complimented by his skin, which is fairly light although if he gets out in the sun enough he'll tan a little.
As far as his facial features go, they're fairly masculine - his cheekbones rest high on his face and he has a defined chin, which sports no facial hair although occasionally he'll grow a short, scruffy sort of beard but not often. He also doesn't have any tattoos or piercings yet, simply because he isn't really a fan of piercings and he has never decided on what he would want permanently on his body, although he thinks something Norse themed would be nice.
For fashion, he keeps everything extremely simple, having little to no desire to shop for clothing for the most part. Most of his wardrobe consists of merely jeans, band shirts, v-neck shirts and some long sleeve button ups - most of the color schemes consisting of blacks, grays and dark blues (He doesn't really care for bright colors).
Role: Singer, Guitarist and founder of the melodic death metal band, Legion.
Musical Style: Liam started playing guitar at the age of six. He'd always loved music, ever since the first time he sang (Or more like yelled) along to his father's Kiss album. He was first inspired by the music his father always had playing around the house such as AC/DC, Guns 'N Roses, Kiss, Black Sabbath and Van Halen and then later, Anthrax, Iron Maiden and Motörhead. By the time he was about sixteen, his playing naturally had become more sophisticated, his tremolo picking really coming along, his vocals were improving greatly as well - this was all right about the time he discovered death metal which he quickly fell in love with. This also encouraged him to learn how to growl. After that it was only a matter of time before he found the melodic death metal scene.
When one of the band's he was in lost their singer unexpectedly, he was voted into the role of singer and guitarist by the rest of the band since they said he had the best voice out of all of them, some of them even giving him tips on how to improve his growling.
His vocals now mostly consist of low growls, however he has also been known to include harsh screams as well. His voice ranges from a low tenor to a baritone when singing cleans, although he doesn't incorporate much of that into Legion. As for his playing style, Liam really likes to get creative in the studio with his riffs which can at times be almost reminiscent of black metal although not extremely so - just a hint of it. His solos are generally very melodic and technical.
Instruments: He primarily plays Ibanez, his favorite right now is his Ibanez S570DXQM in grey. He also owns a RG2EX1 in black.
Personality: Liam is generally a fairly laid back guy, who's a little more on the quiet side and generally keeps to himself since he isn't not one to meddle in the affairs of others. He's the guy who's usually on top of things always making sure things get done in a timely manner, especially where the band is concerned as that is his number one priority. That being said, he's not the most outgoing member in the band, he's normally very collected on and off stage, however he does take on a more high-energy personality on stage as he likes to put on an entertaining show, moving around a bit and encouraging the crowd to make some noise and just all around have a fun experience although admittedly he isn't the most exciting person to watch live. Despite his quietness he wouldn't necessarily be classified as shy - just quiet and seeming in his own world for the most part. He does like to have a good time though, known to enjoy going out for a few drinks and spending time with his friends which usually brings out his sarcastic sense of humor. He's been described as kind, genuine, artistic and honest - what he wouldn't be described as is open though, as it was said before - keeps to himself and thus he has the bad habit of bottling up his emotions which can end rather badly. He also can be a perfectionist when recording or writing, which some people can find to be a bit annoying. He isn't much of a flirt either, simply because he finds that that really isn't one of his strong suits and usually will not be the first person to make a move, even at his age. He doesn't have the highest self-esteem or confidence but thankfully not terribly so - he's very humble and quite friendly, enjoying talking to and getting to know new people (part of the reason why he likes to perform so much). All in all he's a pretty nice guy.

Biography: Liam had a very average childhood, he was born in Boston, Massachusetts and was an only child and was very well loved by both his parents, including his father who first taught him how to play guitar when he was six before sending him off for lessons so he could learn more when he was ten, the same year they moved to New York City.
Growing up in the big, crowded city of New York was never boring, there was always things to do, his father often bringing him along to rock concerts. His guitar lessons continued and soon he began taking singing lessons as well through the years, all the way up until high school in which he started making friends with similar taste in music and he discovered his newest obsession - death metal. The second he heard those vocals and the distorted guitars...He was in love. It was almost as though rock music had never existed to him.
Eventually he started joining a few bands, the first few (Who's names he won't even mention) were pretty terrible and naturally they didn't have any success. A few of them improved but he ended up leaving for one reason or another, whether it was creative differences or whatever.
In high school he wasn't a favorite among a majority of the school and was often teased which wasn't all that surprising since he was a rather nerdy, gawky youth with big ears (he grew into them), long hair and 'weird taste in music' (A few times he was even called a satanist, which wasn't true, might I add.) however Liam never really minded since a lot of friends were made fun of for the exact same reasons and besides - the people teasing him were simply obnoxious anyways and so he never cared about what they had to say.
Surprisingly, his parents were okay with him pursuing his dream - naturally they had tried to deter him a little by trying to convince him to go to college and find well...A career in their eyes, however they understood that he would only truly be happy if he was playing music and therefore supported him, even though at the time he was mostly just working at the local music store and playing gigs whenever possible in hopes of making a little more money.
Several years have passed since then and Liam since then decided to take matters into his own hands, forming a melodic death metal band of his own. He had multiple people auditioning for roles but none of them had quite suited the style until he finally ran into a drummer, bassist (although he found the bassist a little cocky) and a guitarist which he thought suited the sound he was going for. Once he had the line-up decided, he and the rest of the group decided on a name - Legion.
Unfortunately the guitarist he'd hired hadn't stayed with them as long as he had hoped. Thankfully though, they ended up finding Alex shortly after, who he worked well with as a team - Alex's fast, up in your face style contrasting nicely with his own more melodic take on things.
