Description

Image

Full Name: Rafaele Rossie Damiana Angelis

Nickname: Rafe

Age: 28

Role: Another of Connie's ex's/ Enforcer for the D'angelo's

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 179lbs

Eye Color: Blue

Hair Color: Brown

Equipment: Colt 1911 is his signature weapon when dealing with most situations however he is handy with any bladed weapon for when things get close.

Personality: Cocky. Rafaele is sure of himself and of his abilities both in and out of combat. He can be seen always making some sort of joke or flirting with some girl however it is mostly Connie. He will follow Connie's orders to the letter, not that he is some mindless drone. There is only one reason why he does things for her. He loves her. He still loves her after their break up. He will protect her at all costs. He is a good friend to who-ever needs one and always seems to cheer people up.

However when on a job the old Rafaele vanishes, no smile cracks through the hard shell he's built up for himself and no jokes escape his lips. He become viscous and has no remorse for his victims, he almost becomes emotionless. This is all in a way of keeping his two lives separate. It's only business to him and he will do his job correctly with no error. He's not someone to fuck with. After a job is done he merely forgets about it or at least seems to.

History: The Angelis family are a family of 'Middle men' the people who distribute the narcotics from Mexico to the smaller Drug Pushers around MA, the family also help keep North End under D'angelo control. Rafaele worked for Francesco D'angelo as the two families had close business ties. He worked for Francesco D'angelo for years as he got older, always running in between houses and meetings and wherever else he was needed, however every time he would pass he would see a girl, the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen. Connie D'angelo. As he would pass he would smooth-talk her, ask her out of dates and do anything he could to get her out with him. Although he denies anything of the sort. This was when he was 20.

Eventually she gave in due to his suave charm and handsome looks or so he says. They went out. He cooked her meals, did anything for her. They dated for 4 years. One day Rafe decides to make a little money on the side, he swindles some Drug Pushers out of their money and their drugs. What Rafael didn't know however was that they knew about Connie and so for her safety he broke it off with her. He wasn't in Boston for long after that, he was moved around MA to deal with the drugs business while the heat cooled off but he just didn't come back. He's been out of Boston for a few years now and after finding out of The Don's death and just who was taking his place. He's decided to come back for her plus the fact that he'd completed his dealings.

So begins...

The bedroom door creaked slightly as it opened as the figure stepped in carefully not making a sound. She was beautiful. Her hair as black as a crow, her slender neck leading down to her gorgeous body. He was so close to her sleeping body and she didn't even know he was there. He'd been in town for a while now and he'd been to the Mansion quite a few times. Rafaele tried not a make a noise as to not make too much noise. Her Mother couldn't know he was here that would mean trouble for both of them. He'd arrived early from an errand he was sent to do and his first destination was this room.

The guards shouldn't give them any trouble, he'd told them he was here on business and they should of believed it. The darkness in the room was heavy but the room was familiar enough, he walked slowly inside and bent down as he looked at her. He was only in the room for around 30 seconds at this point but he made his presence know.

"Hey Sweet-cheeks..."

Rafael Angelis spoke loud enough to wake her but hopefully not too loud to attract attention. No-one knew who Rafaele really was, Connie was the only person who knew what he was like when he was with someone he really liked. Everyone else saw the cocky sure of himself charmer that he was but Connie knew both that side and a much deeper part of him, they'd known each-other for years and they dated for four. He knew most if not all of Connie's friends, he knew Lyric the longest however seeing as their families were connected business-wise. His family distributing and her family making and transporting, Lyric was actually quite pleasant back then but she was different now and he's still not sure what to think of her.

Roman Mancini. He was Connie's Consigliere and right hand man. He seemed like a good guy to be completely honest there was nothing that Rafaele could dislike him for but still there was something about the way he acted around Connie that irked him but Roman is Connie's cousin so surely nothing funny could be going on. Rafaele would have to keep his eye on him or maybe he was just being paranoid.

And then there was Jayson, Rafaele's sorellina or might aswell be. She was a good kid and he would protect her just as much as he would protect Connie. She always wanted to be part of the business and Rafe just wanted to sit her down and discuss it with her see if it was what she really wanted but Connie wouldn't allow that. If Jayson asked for help, she would surely get it from Rafaele.

It had been a restless night thus far. Connie's thoughts had been plagued with that Irish hoodlum until she had just began drifting into an equally restless sleep where once again Patrick O'Halloran's irritating grin was stuck in her mind like a stamp.

"I says you an I oughta take a wee stroll down memory lane once we're finished with this sit down." His words from earlier today haunted her dreams.

A stroll down memory lane! Oh, she would stroll something alright! Her hand to his face. Wiping that ever present smirk from it!

“Hey Sweet-cheeks . . .” The image of Patrick's lips moved but the voice was not his.

Connie frowned in her half slumbering state. She knew that voice . . . But it did not belong to Patrick. Nor was the endearment one the man used. It was one that irritated her nonetheless but it was often spoken by a different Rogue.

Eyes fluttering open, Connie stirred under the covers yawning as her gaze adjusted to the darkness. Her breath caught in her throat as she suddenly noticed the tall dark figure. Her hand searched for the gun under one of the pillows, when her eyes caught the drift of the upwards turned lips. Even in the darkness she recognized that reckless grin.

Sighing a deep breath of relief and then her ire ignited as she sat up straight in bed.

“What the hell do you think you're doing in my room!” She whispered furiously.

All thoughts of the Irish varlet swept from her mind at the sight of Italian rogue smiling down at her like he had a right and belonged in her room.

Connie cursed the day she allowed him free entrance in and out of her house. But damn it! It was necessary at time's when sudden business came up and had to be dealt with immediately day or night.

And this rogue was taking full advantage of this leniency. Ever since he had swaggered back into her life three years after breaking up with her without a good reason. And being the fool that she was, she let him sweet talk her around again.

Well, not tonight! Connie swore. She wouldn't give into his clever tongue or sweet words like she had been doing recently.

God! If mama found him here, she would beat them both! No matter how old or what Connie did for a living, her mother could still strike the fear of God in her and many others. She had been playing with fire letting this rogue stay the nights before . . . No more . . .

“Get out!” She hissed again.

Rafaele could only smile as she woke from his words and the smile only grew once she reprimanded him for being in her room. He moved over to her bed and sat down on it moving closer to her. She was trying to resist him like she had tried times before but he knew she could never resist for long.

"How can I leave now? I came home early to see you, how can I leave the woman I love?"

His smirk and tone of voice showed the tone of his words, he was playing with her but this was the only way he knew how to converse with her. He'd known her for years and this was always how things went. Rafe Rafe moved closer to her and leaned in. Their lips were very close together but he didn't kiss her, infact he did something no-one else could or would thing about doing. Rafaele dodged her and moving quickly he threw her sheets up and climbed into bed. He hadn't warned her and she definitely didn't want this to happen but he found that he didn't care.

Once inside the bed however he straddled her stomach. She was still the beautiful woman he'd seen all those years ago and she knew it. He wanted to marry her at one point but that seemed like a long off dream.

"Connie...Marry me...We could have such beautiful children!"

He enjoyed teasing her, 'faked' romantic gestures were something he particularly enjoyed. He didn't want to make too much noise in fear of someone entering and telling Connie's mother which would be bad, very very bad for both of them but as far as he knew no-one knew about them two and that's the way he liked it, he didn't need people asking too many questions like 'Are you dating?' and 'Is it serious?' because he wouldn't know how to answer

"How can I leave now? I came home early to see you, how can I leave the woman I love?" Rafaele whispered in the dark as he sat down next to her.

Connie couldn't deny the fact to herself that her heart skipped a beat at his words but she knew them to be coy and just a tease. She didn't believe a word he said. She knew well enough how slippery his tongue truly was and how easy such words escaped his sinful lips.

“Shut up and get out!” She whispered again her annoyance growing trying to push him off her bed, which did little good as the solid man hardly moved.

“Argh!” Connie puffed.

He was constantly like a Stag around a Doe in season, she couldn't get rid of him no matter how hard she tried. With a smirk he turned his lips a breaths whisper away from hers a smirk lining his handsome features as she huffed in frustration at her fruitless efforts to rid him of her. And then he did the unexpected and before Connie knew it she was on her back and Rafe was straddling her.

Her struggles were halfhearted at this point as always. God! But she couldn't resist him . . . But then he said something that set her temper to flames and rid her of all the lustful desires he ignited in her.

“Connie...Marry me...We could have such beautiful children!” His silk over steel voice cooed down at her from his position above.

He was lucky he was straddling her in such away that made it impossible for her to jam her knee where she knew it would do most damage as she grabbed a hanker of his hair and yanked his head to the side, holding on tight.

“By the time I'm done with you,” She seethed. “You won't be able to have children with anyone ever!”

Why did he always have to torment her with what he knew she wanted more then anything in the world. Use her deepest desires to toy with her and play with her, knowing how much she wanted it to be true.

“Now get the hell off of me and out of my house before I put a bullet through you!”

Rafaele sat on-top of her and smiled at her empty threats and her grabs on his hair. It pained him but he could only laugh at her. She threatened him and said she wanted to put a bullet through him. His hand moved into his jacket even though she still had a tight hold on his hair. The Italian charmer pulled out his Colt 1911 and put it in her free hand, holding her hand tightly in his. His smile not faltering for a second.

"Come on then, shoot me..."

He made sure she had a hold of the gun and he placed it to his temple as he leaned into her once more keeping his gun placed to his temple. If she shot she would kill him instantly but she wouldn't. He knew she wouldn't shoot him, she couldn't. She wasn't serious about it anyway but he just wanted to play with her.

"You wont shoot me...You love me too much"

Their lips were once again in this position. He wasn't going to waste the opportunity this time, he pressed forward and their lips barely touched as he still held his one gun to his head in Connie's hand. She had control of his life right now. She could just pull the trigger and kill him if she was so inclined. He looked into her eyes and he smiled quite sincerely at her. This was a very rare time that he didn't make a joke and this only happened when they were alone and even that was quite rare these days. She was good friend and she was a good boss, she'd changed quite a lot since they dated. She wasn't that happy these days and he would do all in his power to make her happy. That's what he really wanted.

Rafe wasted no time. That insufferable smile still glued to his lips as Connie maintained her hold onto his hair tight. Rafe whipped his favorite Colt from inside his jacket and suddenly grabbed Connie's free hand and twisted the gun in her grip so her finger was on the trigger while he pointed it at himself and his hand was held tight over her fingers so she couldn't disarm herself from the weapon.

"Come on then, shoot me..." He said cockily.

Connie struggled with the weapon, letting go of his hair to try and remove his hold but it was pointless. Panic surged through her as he moved it to his temple. Her struggles were only mild though as the gun was firmly placed in her hand. She didn't want to hurt him. Of course, she would never shoot him! . . . Could never shoot him! But she knew the weapon was fully loaded and accidents could happen in such precarious situations.

Her threat was empty. Rafe knew it!

The asshole!

She seethed with anger but mostly fear . . . For his life.

How could he do this to her?!?

"You wont shoot me...You love me too much."

Rafaele spoke softly as he leaned forward. His lips giving hers the barest brush as he peered deep into her eyes and this time she knew the sincerity of his words as he smiled. The playful tone all but gone from his voice.

Connie's breath came shallow and sharp as she gazed into Rafe's sky blue eyes in the dark, knowing their color off by heart even though all was hidden by the dark.

She didn't love him! She hated him! Hated his guts!

Her fingers wriggled in his grip uncomfortably, sweating. And when his hand finally loosed and gave the slightest Connie threw the gun out of their grip.

It clattered across the floor in the blackness hitting something. But Connie cared little about anything now - not the weapon, not the noise, not waking anyone – but only the man before her as she grabbed the lapels of his designer suit and pulled his face down to hers. Capturing his lips with hers as the fingers of one hand twined through his hair and he kissed her back hard like their lives depended on it. Only coming up when air was utterly necessary.

Damn it! But she cared for the rouge!

Idiota donna che sono! She berated herself.

“Actually,” She said trying to catch her breath. “I hate you! And don't you ever do that to me again you asshole.” She play punched his shoulder as their eyes locked in the dark once more.

Rafaele was completely absorbed in the moment as their lips met under the cover of darkness. His gun was thrown somewhere across the room and he didn't care. He found nothing outside of this mattered. When they eventually came up for breath, he smiled again. Rafe couldn't help it, hearing her claim her hate for him was amazing.

"I hate you too! That's why I'm here all the time to make your life miserable.."

The smirk stretched across his face again as he leaned in and ran his hand down her neck and laced kisses where his hand had just been. He wasn't sure what he and Connie were as of yet. He didn't want anyone to find out until he was sure what exactly was going on.

"Ti amo così tanto"

Rafe spoke under his breath half wanting her to hear it and half wanting her to completely ignore that he was talking. This situation currently wasn't what he wanted to be forever, he didn't want to be the guy she hides from her Mother when he sneaks into the house to see her. He wants to be the guy who walks through the door and says hello to Mama D'Angelo as he walks past to see Connie but that couldn't happen, not yet. He didn't think either of them were ready to become a couple again, not that he'd dare ask her. She was dealing with the Saints are the moment and Rafaele was going to help in anyway he can. The Italian moved his hands to hers and held them tightly, he wasn't sure why but he just wanted to hold onto her and not let her leave his sight. What am I doing? How can I be thinking about just Connie? I'm in love with her aren't I?

She really didn't know why she put up with him. It wasn't like they were a couple or even dating. God! They hadn't dated in three long years. But here she was once again, with him in her bed for the umpteenth time in the six months since he had waltzed back into her life.

They hadn't even discussed it. Rafaele Angelis being the Casanova he believed himself to be walked into her bedroom whenever he felt like it in the dead of the night – though not that often thank the Virgin! – and expected her to concede to him. And she did damn it! Every single time!

"I hate you too! That's why I'm here all the time to make your life miserable." Rafe teased a unmistakable smile in his voice; back to being his usual playful, cocky self.

Damn him! Connie thought even as she smiled against her will at her lovers words; giggling as Rafe's fingers traced a line down her neck evoking goosebumps wherever his skin touched hers and his lips followed the path of his fingers.

“You do make my life miserable.” She lied on a sigh as she pushed his suit jacket off his broad shoulders to land haphazardly somewhere on the floor. “Utterly miserable! . . . Insufferable man!”

Feeling his smirk against her skin at her false complaint of him.

Ti amo così tanto . . .”

Connie's breath caught in her throat. What did he say?! She dare not dream that those words were uttered from Rafaele Angelis's lips . . . She didn't move for a long moment. Moved into silence . . . No . . . Of course not! This was Rafaele she reminded herself. It was a rare occasion or moment that anything sincere or real came out of his lips, especially for her.

He constantly teased her and said outrageous things to her that would have been completely inappropriate for anyone to even think, but little was off limits to Rafe. He said and spoke the most absurd and extortionate things, not caring what he said or who he offended. It was this cocksure attitude that first attracted and repelled her to him. But, Lord was the man persistent and it wasn't long at all before she gave in.

I must be hearing things! Connie convinced herself deciding to ignore it completely and deny that the words or the thoughts crossed her mind.

It was good. She didn't want anything from Rafe besides what they shared now, no strings attached, mind-blowing sex . . . Or so Connie tried to tell herself . . .

And then his fingers slipped through her and his grasped tightened and suddenly as Connie looked up into his beautiful eyes she wasn't sure at all . . . Did Rafaele love her? . . . Did she want him to . . . ?

It wasn't something she wanted to think about tonight, now, with him here. Right now she just wanted him. To herself. Where there would be no pretenses and neither of them would have to pretend to be something they were not, like they did everyday in front of prying eye.

With a force he did not see coming Connie used the advantage of their joined palms to push Rafe onto his back reversing their positions so she straddled him instead. Sliding her fingers free of his, she began to unbutton his shirt with painful slowness; Connie grinned down at Rafe in the darkness.

She would make him suffer with teasing like he constantly made her.

“You're the devil Rafaele Angelis, you know that?” She pouted as she bent to claim his lips with the promise of a kiss but pulling away to quickly for it to be more. “And I'll surely burn in the fires of Hell for all eternity because of you.”

But she liked playing the angel to his devil . . .

A temptation she could not resist.

An irritating buzzing sound filled the silent air and Connie was brought slowly back to consciousness. One hand reached out across to the night stand; her fingers trying to locate the cause of all the annoying noise in her groggy state.

Without so much as having to look at the screen, Connie switched the alarm off on her phone. The morning came way too quickly. Connie sighed; burying her face further into the warm figure sound asleep next to her. The man utterly undisturbed by all the commotion. A nuclear bomb exploding wouldn't wake him, she knew.

Rafaele caro, svegliarsi.”

Connie nudged him, placing a kiss on the underside of his jaw that was covered in a nights worth of bristle. Rafe only response was an incoherant murmur and his arm coming tighter around Connie's waist.

Sighing as she pressed closer into Rafaele's form, she supposed it was still early, watching as light filtered through the gap in the heavy drapes that reached down to the floor. Last night had been entertaining to say the least, as things always were with Rafaele. But it was still wrong . . . But why then did she continue to allow him to seduce her . . .?

Because no matter how much she denied it, she enjoyed it. Because Rafe was the only person in her life that didn't expect anything from her except to be herself and to put up with him. She thought with an unrepressed smile.

Pressing the home button on her iPhone to check the time, Connie shot up suddenly.

“Shit!” That couldn't be the time could it?!?

She was certain she had put her alarm on for earlier! Then how could it possibly almost be eight o'clock?!

Wrapping the bedsheets around her, Connie turned and shook Rafe.

“Rafe!” She demanded as she continued to shake the unresponsive man. “Get up!”

Rafaele simply murmured his displeasure at being moved; a frown marking between his brows as he turned around and was snoring again.

Connie cursed him to hell as she tried again, shaking him. Her mother would be awake soon. Everybody, would be awake soon and she needed Rafaele out of the house before then! How was she going to explain a rumpled Rafe to them all.

“Argh!” That was it! “Rafaele Rossie Damiana Angelis! Get the hell out of my bed and my house!”

Connie whispered furiously as she employed all her might to push and kick him . . . And he landed with a great big satisfying thump onto the cold dark wood floor.

Rafe slept like a baby. He was far too comfortable in Connie's bed as if he had always slept there and in truth he'd slept there alot since he came back. His dream was moving on to the good part as a female voice entered his head. A smile stretched across his unconscious lips. Buzz. Buzz. Buzz. Rafaele held Connie tightly against him in his sleeping mind. He was perfectly fine but then it all shattered around him. He felt weightless for a little while and then he face-planted into the ground. He stayed there for a while facing the ground as he cried quite loudly. "Merda! Che male come un figlio di puttana!"

Rafe lifted himself off the floor, completely comfortable with his lack of clothing as he stared at Connie with a glare. He looked around and noticed the light bouncing around the room, it couldn't of been that early. Wait! He wondered what time it was but he couldn't wait for an answer as he lazily yawned. It was clear she wanted him to leave and just because of that he was going to take his time. She was a beautiful woman even in the morning. His lack of clothes effected him very little as he walked slowly gathering up his clothes and began putting them on taking an agonizingly long time. "Do I have to leave? I thought I could have breakfast with Mama D'Angelo, she remembers me. I'm sure she'd be fine with it, she always tells me what a charming lad I am....And she's right.." What Rafaele said may or may not be true but either way, he knew he was a charming lad anyway, how else could Connie D'Angelo herself deal with him the way she does?

Rafe looked at her side-ways and smiled to himself as his eyes rested on her. "You know what? You look amazing even after having dealt with me...If that's not a sign that we're meant to be together I don't know what is.."

Jayson was listening to music on her ipod when the time stood out to her. "10:30 already?" she asked to no one in particular. She put her ipod down after listening to one more song when she suddenly heard a loud bang coming from Connie's room. 'could it be that this mystery person is being kicked out?' She snickered at the thought an thought momentarily. She still had time before she was to meet Jacob and the coffee shop wasn't that far by walking. With that in mind she left her room and went near Connie's room. Jayson was about to knock when suddenly she heard whispering. "You know what? You look amazing even after having dealt with me...If that's not a sign that we're meant to be together I don't know what is.." the familiarity of the voice hit her. 'No way!' in her mind she felt ecstatic. It had been a while since she saw Rafaele last. He was like an older brother to her and she felt happy to know he was here and safe by the looks of it.

Jayson was tempted to go in Connie's room and greet Rafaele happily but she chose against it not wanting to anger Connie any further. Jayson was about to walk away when she heard shuffling from Mama D'angelo's room. The woman was like a mother to her but Connie was her sister and if Mama found out about Rafaele staying she'd be furious. After envisioning Mama's reaction she knocked on Connie's door lightly as to not seem suspicious. "Connie." Jayson whispered still outside the room. She opened the door slightly but didn't peak in. "Mama's up you'd better get Rafaele out of here." She was still whispering but it was loud enough for both of them to hear. Jayson quietly closed the door then headed outside the D'angelo manner. From what the time on her phone said she had about an hour and ten minutes before she was to meet Jacob. That was enough for her to walk normally to the coffee shop and still be a few minutes early.
