If somebody would please tell me what the hell is going on, that would be splended.

a character in “Bound At The Wrists”, as played by gezzygezzy

Description

Name: Brooklyn Parker

Gender: Female

Age (16-19): 17

Height: 5'7

Weight: 104

Type:Human

Hair : Very long red hair. Wavy

Eyes: Bright green eyes and black eyeliner(waterproof)

Personality: (I was trying to make it seem like a sort of profile but the personality I have to explain detailed)
Brooklyn is usually acting like she isn't ever scared and likes to seem rebelious. She makes it seem like she doesn't care about others and that she does whatever she wants. But that's not really true. She does do what she wants but she cares about people she hangs around with enough. She makes it hard to get close to her though because she doesn't like the fact that people can backstab her if they get to close. She doesn't like relationships and tends to try and keep a nice distance between her and any kind of romance. When she gets angry she usually overreacts about everything and gets a bit violent. She throws things and punchs walls, and makes mistakes she'll regret later.

She's always stubborn and it is really hard to change her mind about something. She will have an arguement about what the best candy bar is or something like that and whenever she sees something that goes against something she thinks she usually makes and excuse. When she does change her mind she tries to act like it's no big deal even though it is.

Pain. It was the first thing she felt as she awoke. She could feel every muscle, every fiber in her, screamed out in pain. Even her eyes ached beyond measure. She could see hints of red even though she hadn't even tried to open her eyes yet. As she did attempt to look out of one though, she felt as though it was weighed down. She tried to raise her arm to open it that way but she let out a loud gasp when she felt te sharp sensation go all throughout her arm. "Ouch." She mumbled. After minutes of just sitting trying to get her eyes open, she could finally make them into tiny slits to see the things around her. The sight that she saw was not a pleasant one.

There were people, strewn all around her. Some were crying, others were on the verge of screaming. Some were already screaming. She couldn't really see much though because there were red blotches running over her eyes. Considering the pain in her forehead, those red blotches were blood. She had heard something about foreheads before hadn't she? She couldn't remember. Oh god she couldn't remember anything. What was her name again? How does somebody forget their own name? She tried to supress the fear she felt rising in her, and struggled to keep her breathing steady.

It was about that time that she saw people standing in the room. They weren't injured, and obviously weren't helping. She tried to speak but felt her mouth was full with something. She swallowed and felt the salty taste of her own blood. It must have gotten there while she was sleeping when her forehead dripped. She opened her eyes fully but felt a stinging pain in her left. Black eye maybe? Even her hair was matted and stained with her own blood, as well as the floor. When she managed to move her arms a little, she tried to push herself up to a position that didn't make all of the cuts and bruises feel worse than she should. She managed to prop her back against the wall, but that only introduced her to new pains laced along her back. She tried not to close her eyes again from the pain because she was scared she would not be able to open them again. Instead she let out a soft moan, which in the place she was in sounded like somebody yelling into a microphone. It was so quiet.

Taking her focuse back to the two standing in the room she tried to speak. The first time nothing came out, and she felt the dryness in her throat. But the second time she tried to speak louder and she managed to speak clearly. "What the hell is going on?" Even though she only spoke a few words she could feel the dry bitterness in her mouth increase. She was so thirsty even blood looked good, even though she knew it wouldn't help in the slightest.

Loud yells broke out in the distance. Valerie was again locked in her subconscious. She hesitated before moving away from the light, her right leg seemed to be complaining. Not knowing why, she pulled it along behind her as she made her way. Once regaining control of her mind, he realized why her leg wouldn't cooperate.

She opened her eyes fully, a mistake. Light flooded in, making her temporarily dizzy. Once the patches of light cleared from her vision, she was aware of the devastation before her. Her right leg looked broken, and blood spilled slowly from an open wound. Her head ached, but not as much as it had earlier. Realizing her hands were still bound together, she stopped resisting. It was no use.

She noticed others around the room. Several were tied around the room like her caked in blood and dirt. A couple stood or sat, not restrained by the thick ropes. Envy and confusion chased each other through Valerie's mind. Why did they not help them? She cleared her throat and said in a shaky voice, "Help. . . please."

Blythe heard footsteps behind her and turned around seeing Aiden right there beside her, she hissed "how many freaken times do I have to tell you not to get so close Aiden! your worse then a kid you know" she then heard him ask "So, what you gonna do now? Make them suffer then they already are? Torture them until they bleed to death? I would ever so like to hear what!" as she was walking around checking the ropes and chains "Well if I tell you then what would be the fun in it? huh? I can't give away all my secrets..and I only said I do it if they don't keep their mouths shut.. " she then turned as she heard one of the pesky humans talk "What the hell is going on?". She went over to the girl and grabbed her shirt "oh lookie here a girl that doesn't listen...you stupid, stupid girl...your lucky your not dead yet...now I just did say to shut up, did I not?" she looked to Aiden then back to the girl pushing her back down to the ground roughly.

Blythe then heard "Help. . . please" from the brunnette girl that was passed out when she first came in. She walked over to her and knelt near the girl and mimicked her in a whiny voice "help please....help please....you want help from me? let me think about this..." she then laughed and got up from her knees brushing them off then looked at the girl again, then put her hand close to the girls face, then placed her nail on the girls forhead and slowly traced her face roughly "sorry hun but I don't help humans...I only hurt them" she smirked and pulled her hand away then went and sat down near Aiden "by the way I did not mean to rip the door off this time...it just sorta happened."

Brooklyn would have spit in the girls face if she had anything left to spit. Of course she didn't hear her, she was passed out. When she let go of her shirt she could still feel her hand holding it, shhe was suprised that she could even feel her shirt with all the other pains and aches rushing through her. Her fists clenched as she realized these two were probably why they were here in the first place. She hardly focused on what was going on or the words spoken as what was going on registered to her finally. Brooklyn had the tendency to get angry easily, and in situations like this, she would normally be spitting out words she would come to regret later. In this case though, she could hardly even mouth a word if she wanted to.

She struggled to listen to what was going on but could hardly hear anything that mattered. She heard the name Blythe come from the boys mouth and figured that was the girl who wrinkled her shirt, not that it made the bloodstained thing look any worse. A few other words were spoken and the two standing in front of them actually seemed normal, but it was anoying when they would call the people chained to the wall humans. They were humans too, so it wasn't like they were calling them out.

Then the two started having a conversation about hating humans. It was hard to understand because she still didn't get why they were refereing to humans as a different species or anything. The only thing she got from it was that the girls family died so she hated people. Maybe they were just crazy. That was it, they two were just crazy and thought they weren't human or something. "Lets leave before I decided I want to torture them more." She heard 'Blythe' say before walking to the broken door. When did the door break? She thought to herself. God, she had to get out of here. There might be more than two of them. After all, Blythe was rather small. Maybe she could just slip the chains off when she left. It would probably hurt since they were pretty snug, but the blood on her hands hadn't dried all the way. If she was to do it at all now would be the most reasonable time.

Aidan looked at her with sadness in his eyes understanding her hatred for humans. But that didn't mean all of them where like that, right? He then watched as she walked towards the door and spoke in a voice that was unusual for her personality. "lets leave before I decided I want to torture them more." He nodded and then walked towards where she was, her height making her seem like a very small person next to him.He raised his hands up in defeat and spoke in his usual goofy manner. "Okay Okay, I now understand your undying hatered for them. But I know that deep, and I mean way deep, down inside your tiny heart, that you know these people don't deserve this. Becasue although some peple are like that, most peple have common sense." He smiled in hopes of calming her down and then gave her a mischievous look. "Plus, you got revenge on them by setting them on fire. I expected you to do something like that." Aidan placed his arm on her head and then looked around the door. The metal door was on the ground laying defenseless and then hinges that kept the door in place were crooked. "Now about that door..." He drawled out slowly turning his head towards her. He laughed a dark chuckle and then picked her up and put her on his shoulders like a potato sack. "I think I need repayment for that. For I am the one who always fixes the things you break...only for them to be broken again." He sighed and turned around to look at the beaten up people.

A girl with bright red hair and what could be bright green eyes was looked at them as if they were crazy and wanted to make a smart Alec remark. He met her eyes and gave her a look that said 'I'll come back for you later.' Happy with the look he sent Aidan smiled towards her and turned away now going back to the room where they had been previously along with an unhappy camper on his shoulder. "You remind me of potatoes right now, you know that?"

Blythe listened to Aiden "I just don't trust them, what can they actually do? I mean are they even any use to this world now?" she asked then felt his arm on her head and then looked at the door when he mentioned it "i swear i didn't mean to do it this time". When Aiden picked her up and put her over his shoulder she started kicking "Aiden you better let me down! I swear..." she couldn't help but laugh, she didn't laugh alot but Aiden seemed to always get her to laugh once and awhile."I think I need repayment for that. For I am the one who always fixes the things you break...only for them to be broken again." "I forget that im so strong..and what do you want for 'repayment'" she asks then eyes the girl with the red hair and gives her a dirty look before they leave. She continues to kick when they left the room to go to the other room "You remind me of potatoes right now, you know that?""Im not potatoes tho so let me down Aiden! just because im small you think you can do this!"

As the two were leaving she saw them both look at her. The boy gave a look that seemed like a 'I'll be back' kind of thing but she wasn't sure, the room wasn't the brightest. The look that Blythe gave her though was clear. She hated Broolyn already. Well that was just fine, because Brooklyn didn't particularly like Blythe either. She heard Blythe's story, and she understood why she would do this. But since SHE was one of the people bound up she was a bit pissed. Now she was going to have to get out somehow, and however that would happen would not be fun.

Looking at her bindings she felt a wave of hopelessness wash through her. They were barely loose on her, and if she did what she was planning on doing, it would hurt like hell. Not to mention they might not even come off, even with her hands still slick with blood. She could try to untie them, but she would have to use her teeth. Her plan seemed less and less likely to work. But when she thought about how Blythe hated 'humans' and the fact that she gave Brooklyn a dirty look made her decide it was at least worth a try.

Brooklyn tried to hoist herself up to her arms that were above her head but she felt a pain rush through her arms the moment she began to lift and let out a small cry of pain. She landed roughly back on the floor, but found that at least her butt didn't hurt. Comforting to know that they didn't hit her there. Instead of using her arms again she tried to move her legs but found even then that it hurt to simply shift them. In the time that had passed of her being awake she had managed to muster the ability to speak again, and used her restored ability to let out more than a few unkind words.

She looked at the others but they seemed to just be sitting, some still crying. How pathetic. She knew it was rude to even think that, but they chose to cry and waste the little water they still had in them instead of trying to get out. She was getting out, and she was getting out as fast as she could. She wasn't going to wait for anybody to come back, or for nobody to come and just let her slowly die from dehydration.

Looking back up at the ropes she clenched her teeth together and began to lift herself, screaming a muffled scream through her teeth. She hoped that they weren't still close by. She couldn't hear them anymore though so she should be out of their hearing range too. Oh god the pain, it hurt so much. She managed to get up to the rope but found she wouldn't be able to open her mouth without alerting the entire building that she was moving around. Reluctantly she felt herself lower back onto the ground. Now it was her trying to hold back tears. She felt defeated. Her cuts and scratches on her arms and legs had reopened and were now bleeding openly again. That would be hard to miss.

Valerie watched as Aidan and Blythe left, and looked away, but not before she noticed the look Blythe shot at the red-headed girl. What did she have against gingers? Looking towards the girl, she noticed she was moving. . . or at least trying to move. She was struggling to move into a sitting position, but apparently couldn't stand the pain. She would fall back to the dusty floor after each attempt, clearly not making any progress.

Then, Valerie heard a boy sitting next to the girl speak. His voice was hoarse, probably from not using it.. He suggested the idea of biting off the ropes, freeing the girl so they she could free everyone else. He attempted to rise, but the pain of his hands was too much to bear. Being all the way on the other side of the room, Valerie could not help them, but could she help herself?

The ropes binding her wrists were thick, and dug into her hands, leaving sores. Pulling her hands out of the ropes was out of the questions. Temporarily defeated, she looked around the room. That much movement caused the cut on her head to reopen. She watched the blood trickle down her cheek, and remembered the cement blocks that she hit her head on earlier to cause the wound. She carefully turned left, and saw the blocks. Her hands were tied above her head, and the odds couldn't be anymore in her favor.

She edged her way over to the blocks inch by excruciatingly pain inch. Believing she was close enough, she moved the ropes up and down on the side of the cement block. Oh, it hurt, how it hurt so much. But she couldn't stop. She moved the rope back and forth, back and forth until she felt the restraint lessen. She had cut the rope. She was free!

"And it's a known fact, that taller person gets the most fun." As Aidan started going around in circles she kicked harder "Aiden just let me down now!" she was starting to get a bit more frustrated. Blythe then started hearing something, she heard the humans start to talk. She heard the male "I can try and bite your ropes off... but if they hear you yell or anything, than we're both dead."She hissed a little "are they really that stupid Aiden?"

As Aiden let her down she heard the sound of rope being cut she glared at Aidan then down at the door "Well my dear Bly, I think one of them have escaped. What ever should we do now?" She sighed "Well I don't know Aiden, we can't just let them running around the place." She then started walked down to the room and stood in the entrance "Now.. now... now... if you want to escape then id be more quiet if I was you. I could hear you a mile away, at least it was us that heard you and not one of the leaders." She shook her head and then went to the girl with the brown hair taking her by the arm "So you broke free from the ropes, your a smart girl ya know thought not smart enough for us" she looked at the doorway "AIDAN! We are going to have to take them somewhere else. It seems this room is just too useful to them" she then looked to the girl "now lovely if you listen I won't have to hurt you, I am trying to be nice which is hard for me to do with humans."

Blythe then glared at the boy and the red hair girl "you both don't try anything either...please".

Brooklyn looked at the boy next to her, suprised to hear another voice. "Hey... I have an idea, I can try and bite your ropes off... but if they hear you yell or anything, than we're both dead." Did she, did she actually encourage somebody to escape from failing? That was a first, she doubted she had ever helped somebody have hope to do anything. Sure enough a few moments later another girl started trying to break free. She couldn't believe it. Looking at the boy, she could tell he wasn't going to get to her ropes either. His injuries were just as bad as hers were, at least they look like it. He tried to get to her rope but fell just as she did.

Just then she heard a different sound in the other corner. There was a girl with a concrete slab. Wait, where were her ropes? She had cut the ropes off! Excited, Brooklyn tried to lift herself once more, but quickly fell again from the pain. She called over to the girl as quite as she could, "Hey, untie me!" But she also begun to hear voices in the distance. Oh great, just wonderful. They must have heard her when she got loose. Good thing Brooklyn hadn't gotten out of the ropes yet, otherwise they might think she started the idea. Granted she did, but she wasn't going to die because of it if she could just lie and live a bit longer. But her open wounds...they would know she tried to escape, at least if they were smart they would.

She swallowed the panic creeping up in her throat and tried to think. She just wanted the ropes off, just wanted out. She felt something course through her, adrenaline maybe? Whatever it was it gave her strength and she pulled herself up, biting on her lip so she wouldn't scream. She felt a something come from her lip and knew it must be blood. But she didn't care. She lifted herself and started at the knots with her teeth, making a nice substitute as something to bite on. The knots were tight, and she pulled as hard as she could. They were slowly coming undone but it wasn't fast enough.

(sorry, started working on the post before the others)

That was about the time the two entered the room. She dropped right before they came in, making it seem as though she had never risen in the first place. As Blythe began speaking about moving them she realized that now escape was hopeless. THey would make it impossible to even try to escape. How had they even heard them? She didn't know, but as Blythe told them not to try anything, she knew there was no point in even playing nice. She would never take this crap, and she wasn't going to be even more humiliated than she felt.

"We aren't smart enough for you two?" She said with a hoarse laugh behind her words. "Really? You accidentally broke a door, and refer to us all as humans. You claim not to be, and even though you managed to hear us from that far away, I sorely doubt that you aren't. I know that you will probably just torture me more for saying anything but honestly, the only other way you could hurt me is by dropping me on the floor until the last uninjured part of me is bruised!" She breathed a little heavily after saying that and knew she should have probably kept her mouth shut but she didn't care. They were crazy, and she was going to die. She had a right to be angry and yell.

Aidan followed after Blythe, knowing what she was going to do. When he got there Blythe had the poor girl in a grip that was deadly. Her hands behind her back while her body twisted in what seemed to be an uncomfortable position. He started to walk over towards them when he saw the red head freeze and try to keep calm. Any other time he would have laughed at her acting but right now wasn't the right time. In two long strides he was by Blythes side and prying her arms away from the brunette. Her grip was tight but Aidan got her hands off with a whole lot of strength. Blythe was very strong, maybe even to the point of where if she would get seriously mad she would be even stronger then me. When her deathlike grip was off Aidan pushed the girl behind him in a manner that wasn't too hard or too soft.
"Blythe. I don't agree on your actions. If you want revenge they're already dead. Don't put others peoples mistakes on innocent people." He said in a very serious tone that wasn't like him. "Even if you do release your anger on them it isn't going to change what has been done."

He then looked behind him and saw the cherry red hair girl with open wounds from struggling. The silence in the room was very tense and the atmosphere was even tenser. Aidan knew that people always did what there emotions told them to and very few people actually do what their brain tells them to. Although he did have his moments where he used his emotions instead of mind but that was when he solemnly got angry. Which wasn't a whole lot. He turned his head towards Blythe once more and gave her look that said she should think about this. What Aidan believed in , he did. And no one could change his mind.

Blythe was holding onto the brunnette when she heard the red hair girl "We aren't smart enough for you two? Really? You accidentally broke a door, and refer to us all as humans. You claim not to be, and even though you managed to hear us from that far away, I sorely doubt that you aren't. I know that you will probably just torture me more for saying anything but honestly, the only other way you could hurt me is by dropping me on the floor until the last uninjured part of me is bruised!" She took a breath in and looked at the girl "You don't even know who or what your are talking about. And y'all are humans, weak humans that just mess it up for us. We are far from humans...we aren't weak....I could kill you if I really wanted to but I won't...." She was going to continue when she felt Aidan pry her hands off of the brunettes arms. She glared up at him "Blythe. I don't agree on your actions. If you want revenge they're already dead. Don't put others peoples mistakes on innocent people. Even if you do release your anger on them it isn't going to change what has been done" she heard the seriousness in Aidan's voice.

She felt torn in many different ways and her heart was pounding against her chest. She felt her anger was building and she felt like she was going to explode. Turning around she quickly went to the closest wall away from everyone and brought her fist back so fast and slammed it against the wall. The wall started to crack some of it was crumbling down but it didn't break all the way. Her hand was bleeding and broken but she didn't care, she just started crying all the emotions in her just broke. She turned and looked at Aidan "Since you seem so sure about yourself Aidan, what the fuck do you think we should do? What are we suppose to do...huh? Look at them...they are too weak to even take care of themselves right now." her voice was raised and she was still crying, she tried to get control of her emotions but this is the first time she has broken down like this since....she doesn't actually remember the last time she broke down.

Valerie watched as Aidan pulled her arms from Blythe's death grip. She flexed her wrists, glad to be free from both the ropes and Blythe's grasp. Blood still trickled from open wounds, but she didn't care. The pain had lessened, for sure, but hadn't gone away. She felt Aidan push her behind him, then heard him speak to Blythe.

Blythe was angry, very angry. Valerie was grateful that she hadn't taken her anger out on her. That wouldn't have been good. She listened to the sickening crunch of bones shattering as Blythe struck the wall with her hand. She didn't show any signs of pain, remarkably, but began to cry. Valerie was concerned of the girl's tears, but was more happy that they didn't have thought to retie her. Still, Valerie tucked her arms behind her back, so Aidan and Blythe didn't know she was untied, but the other captives did. Maybe they could all escape together.

Brooklyn looked around at all the people getting out. Great, she was the first one to try and would probably be the last one to get out. They mentioned something about 'demonic' but she really didn't care. They may be helping her but she still thought they were crazy. Blythe wasn't going to help them get unbound so her opinion on her didn't improve much. Hell, if anything she hated her more for everything that happened. She felt like she should hate Aidan but she was putting all the blame on Blythe because, well Aidan didn't really look like he wanted to hurt them.

Looking up at the ropes she knew she couldn't do the same thing as the other girl. The rope was to high and couldn't reach the ground, so she would have to lift herself...again. "Third times a charm..." She mumbled to herself as she pushed herself against the wall. Looking at her arms she realized they were worse off than her feet. So she moved her legs into a crouching position and pushed up. She winced from the pain and clenched her teeth. THey never said if there were more, so she wanted to be safe.

The second her mouth got to the rope she opened it and bit down on the knot. It looked pretty simple actually. In a few tugs and pulls the ropes were off and she fell back to the ground, a feeling of relief coming through her. Once again though her wounds were open. At this rate she would have them forever. But at least she would have themwhile being alive. She looked at the boy who had talked to her earlier trying to help and told him, "Thanks for the notion earlier."

Brooklyn

Brooklyn felt everything happen so quickly. Just as the others were escaping the lights just stopped working, leaving them in darkness. She knew this place looked old and abandoned but it looked more like it was turned off than blown out. She tried to adjust her eyes but its hard to see when theres no light at all.

"Well this is just brilliant," she said. In the distance she could hear a clicking. She cringed everytime she heard it, making a shiver go down her spine. Had she heard it before? All she knee was it was already annoying her and she could hardly even hear it. There were voices behind the door but they were too muffled to understand. "Are there more of you?" She said. These two were helping her and she had a hard enough time coping with what was going on. Sge doubted the others were as 'kind'.

Alex

Alex put her hand up to her mouth as though she was offended by what Jasper said. "Jasper!" She said in a sarcastic tone. "I am shocked!" She changed her voice back to her normal tone and continued, "Besides, you would be suprised how fun it is to be me in heels. Fighting is much more fun." She smiled for a moment but was once again distracted by the voices that had woken her up in the first place.

"So Aiden and Blythe are going rogue? As much fun as it would be to kill them now I think we should just let them go. A chase is almost as fun as the torturing, and how often can you chase humans AND demons?" She of course said this to where only Jasper and Abijah could hear.
