Small feet touched the floor rather lightly, trying to make as little noise as possible as the purple haired girl followed Aphrodite through the abandoned house. Crimson hues flashed in either direction as she held her flashlight with somewhat of a trembling hand. Nill didn't want to be here, it wasn't a good idea to break into a house called "The Devil's Den," not that it was a good idea to break into a house in general...it was just that this house seemed, well, different. The inside was old and slightly run down, there were antique tables and other furniture placed throughout the ghostly mansion, slender fingers picked a bit at the peeling wallpaper as the two girls stopped for a second. Nill's blonde haired companion was no doubt poking about at the various nick-knacks placed around the shelves boldly, but the Nill herself was...well, trying her best not to seem absolutely terrified. At every tiny sound she would flash her flashlight in whichever general direction it came from and give a slight whine. Lately, however, she had been hearing noises coming from upstairs.

"A-Aphrodite...can we get out of here now?" The girl flocked to her friends side, slender hands gripping her flashlight as though she thought it might disappear forever if her hold was any looser. Secretly, she wished she hadn't given into her friends insistent pleading, but, then again, she couldn't simply leave her best friend to die. Again there were the creaks and moans that came from random directions at a time, and Nill bit her lower lip slightly as she looked around. She hardly noticed that her blonde friend had begun moving again until she had glanced backwards and realized she wasn't there. In an attempt to catch up to Aphrodite, who was merely a few feet away at this point, Nill caught a foot against the leg of a nearby coffee table and fell flat against the floor with somewhat of an over exaggerated shriek. That was sure to wake up a few sleeping monsters...

A loud shriek rang through Dimitri's ears clearly as it immediately gave him a headache and aggravated him. His eyes popped open in frustration as he swallowed harshly and shook out his dark blonde mess of hair on the top of his head. "Is that Arnold making such a ruckus?" He growled to himself in a whisper as he gently rubbed his blue eye and covered a short yawn. Slowly, he managed to stand up from his coffin and immediately insert his feet into his shoes so he could investigate the noises downstairs. Inside his room was the exact opposite of his brother's, it was full of a variety of things. There was a vanity table with all sorts of collectibles over the years that are somewhat to precious to him. There's a large wardrobe as well with many formal clothes so he could have options every day and still look classy. The only thing not in his room was pictures, the one thing he refused to have at all. A warm brown ran across the walls as it made it darker and art work from different eras, he hated to have things plain.

The event of his awakening replayed in Dimitri's head as he figured out the shriek was a female, definitely not Arnold, and it sounded as if someone has tripped from a table or perhaps a chair downstairs. "Intruders..." His eyes flickered upwards as he hissed, hearing someone knocking on his door but reluctant to hear it was only his brother. Quickly, he strode over to the door and opened it to see his brother chewing on his nails with his hair a mess in front of his eyes. A small eye roll was sent as a greeting to show that he was already irritated, "Well then. It looks like we have some guests, Arnold. Shall we go?" Dimitri didn't wait for his brother's response before he quickly and quietly glided passed and down the stairs. There stood two female humans, one with blonde hair who appeared a bit calm and the other with purple hair who looks scared beyond belief. Anger bubbled all through out him as he walked forward towards the girls. "Pathetic. What right do you have to come onto our property? Hm?" He snarled to them, impatiently waiting for an answer.

“Stop being such a baby, Nilly.” She teased her friend, giggling as Nill tripped over something, moving to help her up. “I’m sure that there’s nothing to be afraid of at all.” Aphrodite was rather excited as she played with the hem of her lime green skirt. Her heels clicked against the hardwood floors as she took a few steps forward, biting down on her bottom lip as she looked up at a painting above the fireplace. “Oh my God. Have you ever seen such a beautiful portrait? It’s exquisite.” Aphrodite had thought at a young age that it wouldn’t be wise to perpetuate stereotypes. Despite often being pegged as a dumb blonde good for only looking pretty, Aphrodite was insanely physically and mentally fit. She had graduated High School as Valedictorian and was an Olympic Gymnast. She was a proficient Martial Artist among other things, as well. Aphrodite always had a full schedule since the day she could walk.

She was happily marveling at the paintings and the woodwork of the furniture, running her fingers over them when a sudden wave of anger ran through her. “What’s your issue, Nill?” She turned, thinking that it was her friend. They were the only ones there…right? She noticed that Nill had absolutely no anger about her Aura, therefore causing some fear to spike within her. Who the hell else was here? She turned at the sound of an angry voice and took a step back. “Holy shit, you scared us.” Thinking quickly, she put up a polite smile and feigned a perfect look of embarassment. “Oh! We had no idea that anyone lived here. We were looking to buy the property and heard that this was an exqusite antique. We came to look it over – you know, gauging the restoration prices and whatnot. Budget and all.” She moved to Nill’s side and put an arm over her friend’s shoulder. “We offer our most sincere apologies. Is there any way we could possibly make up this intrusion? We don’t want the cops called or anything.”

Arnold scoffed slightly as the girl, the blonde one who seemed to pour confidence, lied through her teeth. "Cops won't do anything to save you at this point, my dear." He hissed, moving slightly to stand next to his brother. He ran a hand through his hair, sweeping it out of his face. "Also, wouldn't a house be open during the day, instead of in the dead of night?" His voice stayed steady, though his hands twitched by his side, which he casually shoved into the pockets of the pajama pants he was wearing. He was sure Dimitri would most likely find his apparel appalling, no shirt, no shoes, and pajama pants with smiley faces on them. He rather enjoyed the smiley faces, because they brought a smile to his own face. Though he had an athletic build, he wasn't built like a male model, with abs and a gorgeous face. He was muscular for his small size, but working out was the least of his worries.

Moonlight shown in through a dust covered window, slightly blinding the vampire, though he squinted his eyes and continued to express his slight frustration. "We didn't mean to startle you, of course, none of us would have this problem if you two ignorant girls hadn't barged onto our property, touched our belongings, and woken us up." He flashed a devilish grin, hinting his fangs only slightly, enough to get his point across, strike fear into the hearts of his toys. He wouldn't scare them too bad, they might wet themselves, and that would definitely be an issue. He chuckled softly at the thought, his mind wandering to all of the ways the two girls could make up the very rude intrusion.

"Our schedules are actually quite full in the daytime hours, so unless we wanted to look at it next month, we would have to pay a night-time visit." She continued her polite facade, keeping Nill close to her as she took a protective stance. She didn't trust these two boys as far as she could spit - And she really couldn't even spit past her nose. She eyed their apparel before taking a step back, pulling her friend with her. "What problem is there? The real estate agency said that this place was abandoned, so how were we to know that you two were here?" She poked her chest out some and lifted her chin. "Do you have the deed to this home? Or are you homeless and just crashing here? Maybe you two are runaways or fugitives." She almost got excited at the aspect of fugitives before her. She rolled her eyes as the more calmer of the males misunderstood her mention of the cops, though she shrugged it off and decided that a mouthy retort wasn't the best way to go about this. "And we weren't touching your things - Okay, I may have ran my fingers over some of the furniture. But the carpentry is so...exquisite." Even in the midst of danger, she seemed to keep her cool, glancing back at the antique furniture with a smile on her face. "It reminds me of the furniture my grandfather in Italy has. Very classy." She gave a light chuckle. "Anyways. Would you really be so cruel as to hold two girls guilty for a crime that they didn't know they were committing? Wait - Don't answer that because I already know the answer." She then stood in front of Nilly as if acting as a shied for her. "But, I assure you that I am not the type to go down without a fight." She saw the fangs and was only slightly taken aback, though in total awe. She still showed no fear as her bright green eyes gleamed in the moonlight, swimming with some sort of passion.

Dimitri swallowed and chuckled darkly as he listened to this simple minded girl give an excuse that he wouldn't believe in his sleep. The purple headed girl was just standing there, staying quiet as this loud mouthed girl kept talking which started to give him a headache. He clenched his teeth tightly and rubbed his temple with two fingers as he looked over to Arnold to see his reaction. Of course, he was trying to be polite but he showed his fangs and it still didn't scare this girl one bit. A tough one to crack in his opinion as he rolled his eyes. This girl was already passed his tolerance as he rolled up his sleeves on his white button up top and smoothed out the wrinkles in his plaid sleeping pants. "You should have dressed up a bit more for this early breakfast, Arnold." A slight mocking tone in his voice to try to lighten the anger towards his brother, but it quickly came back as he looked back to the two girls. "You don't honestly believe that we would be homeless or fugitives living here? Do you recall the name of this house? This is OUR house and you are still trespassing, but of course the cops won't be involved. We like to solve things, ourselves."

The moonlight shimmered slightly in through the curtains as he stepped forward a few steps towards them. "In all honesty, I don't think you'd be able to fight back and I'm not fond of intruders or liars." Quickly, he gave a wide smile to show off his fangs and kept his eyes steady on his next meal. His fingers outreached towards his brother as he flicked two fingers upwards to tell him to get closer as well. "Come then, Arnold. Have your pick, we don't want to keep our meal waiting." It was now beyond amusing and only gave him more of a headache, he wanted to end it as soon as possible so they can return back to their slumber. Impatiently, he ran his finger across his ear piercing and actually analyzed the girls a bit more other than their hair color. They would be suffice and he didn't want to give them mercy either. Food must not be played with, especially food that talked so much.

Arnold took another step, becoming even with Dimitri. "Brother, you know how I feel about feeding, especially on such beautiful young women." The act of feeding disturbed him. He found it to be messy and irritating, not to mention the fact that he thought the taste of blood was stale and bland. He felt better about feeding from blood bags which he causually stole from trucks transporting them to and from hospitals, blood drives, blood banks, etc. It was easier for him to control himself, as well as keep things nice and clean. It was also how he kept in shape, going on late night jogs in search of a nice, lukewarm meal. He shook his head slightly, shaking the thought of blood from his mind, though his body yearned to be fed. He blew the hair out of his eyes with a deep sigh.

All of the standing began to make his feet hurt, as he began bouncing slightly between the two. "Why don't we all sit down, enjoy a nice cup of coffee? Tea maybe?" He turned around, disappearing through a dark doorway. After flipping a switch, he was bathed in a dim yellow light, showing that the room served as a dining room. He kept walking, not even bothering to stop at the wooden table that was centered here. "Girls, or rather, ladies, you may have a seat here. Please ignore my simple minded brother. We can appropriately find a solution to the mess you've caused. Would you like anything to drink or eat?" Arnold tried his best to be polite, to ignore the urge to reach out and drain them of their young lives, and felt the only way to do so would be to polute his body with caffeine. Besides the obvious craving for blood, he desperately wanted a doughnut, with cream filling maybe, or a danish.

Nearly petrified, Nill simply clutched onto the blonde's arm, crimson eyes wide all the while. This situation was an accurate description of her worst nightmare and she feared that if she spoke it would only make things worse. Her mind had jumped to all sorts of illogical conclusions, only serving to make her even more nervous. Aphrodite was doing all the talking, which was good because is Nill had been talking, she would have outright admit that they were indeed breaking and entering, they hadn't known that anyone lived here and that they were very sorry. However, even though she hadn't admit it, she would eventually chalk up the courage to say "sorry." Her eyes wandered at the shorter blonde had flashed flashed his teeth at the two of them...his canine teeth were much sharper than hers, and at this realization she actually reached up to touch her own teeth. They definitely weren't as sharp.

At the mention of feeding, Nill piped up a bit, clutching her friends arm tighter as she stuttered, "W-We're sorry...we'll just leave now..." She wouldn't really feel right about simply apologizing and leaving, but she certainly didn't want to stay either. Releasing the blonde's arm a bit, Nill reached down to rub her leg a bit, hoping she hadn't hurt it when she fell. What if she needed to run to get away from these two and her ankle was twisted or something? Then again, it didn't feel twisted....The purple haired girl gave a slight sigh and stared down at the floor, biting her bottom lip.

Nill immediately recoiled when one of the men stepped in front of her, telling her that she couldn't leave. She just about thought her heart was going to stop beating, her breaths were somewhat shallow and shaken, and she simply wanted to go back home. Nothing ever seemed to end up the way it was supposed to. Why couldn't there have just been some malicious spirits present in the house like the rumors said? Why did it have to be people? Well, at least she had Aphrodite here to protect her...right? Feeling a bit more relieved as she clung to her friend, the purple haired woman gave a sigh and somewhat glared at her companion. Nill usually didn't like to put the blame on any one person, but if the police were called and she got in trouble or these two turned out to be crazy murderers, there was no way she was going down alone.

Nill's grip tightened on the blonde's arm as she whispered into her friends ear, "If we die, Aphrodite, I will haunt your immortal soul. I just want to go home..."

"Dimitri, how often do we actually have house guests, let alone any guests? This is for you as much as me, brother, so enjoy it while it lasts." He hissed under his breath, moving his brothers finger out of his face with a small chuckle, a soft coughing sound that he tried to slightly muffle, at the sound of the girls' quiet request to her friend. "Dorothy, you're a long way from home."

The movie reference was old, but still it made him smile, as the sound of his own voice often did. He fully accepted his conceited traits, considering his brother almost always seemed to be in the grumpiest of moods. While this had never truly bothered him, it slighted angered him since they had guests, though Dimitri looked at them as only another way to fill his stomach, which was a rare occasion. He considered it a special treat, not a meal, though at the thought of eating, his stomach growled. Arnold politely pulled the chairs out for each girl before taking a seat across from the blonde girl, who had been unusually quiet for someone who at first had seemed so self confident. The silence caused him to giggle foolishly, which made him notice how bubbly he had suddenly become and changed his facial expression of happiness to a serious gaze, much like his brothers'.

"So," He began, clearing his throat, "what is the real reason you decided to trespass in our beautiful home tonight?" He tried to keep his voice at an even tone, though he could hear it squeak slightly. He didn't think it was too noticeable, but then again, he didn't pay attention to a lot of things.
