Description

Image
.:Name: Vasiliy Kozlov
.:Gender: Male
.:Age: 18
.:Relationship title: The Tale of Two Boys
.:Appearance: Everything about Vasiliy reads calm, relaxed, and arrogant. He is a tall man, standing at nearly 6'4" in height, and rather proud of his height. He always stands with near-perfect posture, save for the slightest slouch of his shoulders. Clearly an athlete, Vasiliy has a sturdy build with mostly muscle and little fat. His arms are muscular from lifting weights, however, they are not grotesquely so, and still more on the lean side rather than the bulky side. He has fairly nice pecs, and abs that are a few sit-ups short of being a six pack. His legs are fairly muscular from running a lot. Overall, he has a rather nice build.

His hair has drawn the attention of more than a couple shampoo and conditioner brands. To begin, it is soft. Incredibly so. The fact that Vasiliy washes his hair almost as often as he breathes may have something to do with this. It is a shiny black, and people will swear that he dyes blue highlights into it, judging by the blue streaks reflected in it whenever he goes into the light. Vasiliy denies any claims of him dying his hair, saying that it's just the light reflecting on his hair and that everyone is just mad. Normally, his hair is chopped off at jaw level in a fairly popular style, with fluffy bangs framing his face and gradually getting shorter the closer his hair gets to the back of his hair, the back of his hair spiking up slightly. Recently, after seeing that long hair on men seemed to be getting back into style, Vasiliy has decided to grow his hair out. Currently it's around shoulder length, perhaps a bit longer. Vasiliy finds he rather likes the longer hairstyle, and is debating on whether to cut his hair short once again or keep it at that length.

Due to his slightly almond shaped eyes, people have often asked Vasiliy of Asian heritage. He isn't actually of what most people consider to be 'Asian' heritage, that is to say that he isn't Japanese or Chinese. However, he is technically Asian, coming from eastern Russia, near the Mongolian border, and has almond shaped eyes because of that, probably due to some of his ancestors being of Mongolian or possibly Chinese heritage. His eyes are dark in colour, somewhere between gray and blue. Many people assume them to be black, but, of course, that isn't physically possible. Instead, his eyes are just a very dark shade of gray. A blue tint to them gives them a slightly cold, unfeeling look.

He has yellow-tan skin, his skin naturally being slightly dark, and then turned a nice golden shade from him staying out in the sun for quite a while. His face has an elegant structure, having a sort of heart shape. His cheekbones are high, but not particularly prominent, giving his face a long appearance, and he has a fairly pointed chin that juts forward slightly. His ears are relatively small compared to his face, and his nose is of a similar quality. He tends to keep his chin tilted up so that he is staring down his nose at everyone - not that he doesn't have to already, considering his height. Vasiliy's general greeting is - rather than a 'Hello' - a simple nod of the head filled with enough smugness and arrogance that even a blind three year old could interpret that as a 'come at me bro' gesture. Because of his rather arrogant way of greeting people, Vasiliy has gotten into his fair share of fights, and has had to pay more than a couple of hospital bills, both those belonging to him and those belonging to others.

Wearing casual, yet stylish, clothes, it is clear to see that Vasiliy has money, and quite a bit of it. Almost all of his clothes are clearly tailor made - the exception being his gym clothes and the occasional outfit that he bought at some store in the mall - and they often appear to be freshly pressed. Mostly, he is wearing a collar shirt that is, more often than not, hanging open, showing off his muscular torso. While some of the less intelligent girls have found this incredibly attractive, most anyone who can think straight realises this looks incredibly stupid and arrogant. Still, that's never stopped Vasiliy from almost always having a girl or two hanging on his arm. His pants are crisp slacks that are usually beige or black, or dark coloured skinny jeans. He tends to wear black Converse sneakers rather than the custom made dress shoes his parents love forcing him into.
.:Personality: To sum it up in one word, Vasiliy is a jerk. He's an arrogant, vain man who cares about nothing other than himself and his social standing. Of course, he can pretend to be nice, and is excellent at coddling whatever girl he currently managed to cast under his charm, but, in the end, it all comes back to him. Always. He appears to care about nothing other than himself, especially his appearance, and doesn't care what happens to other people as long as he gets something good out of it. His motto, because of this, is 'All's well that ends well'.

Despite the fact that he cares about nothing other than himself, Vasiliy does have a few good sides to him. He's open minded, and doesn't really care as to who someone else likes. All he cares about is whether girls like him, and, more importantly, whether he likes the girls who like him. He's not homophobic, but he certainly couldn't stand the concept of a guy liking him in a romantic way, or him liking a guy in return. Sure, some guys wanted to be him. That Vasiliy could understand, and could tolerate. He just couldn't understand the concept of guys wanting to be with him.

He is good at sports, and, therefore, loves participating in them. By now, Vasiliy has probably participated in every sport in the school. His personal favourite is football, especially no-holds-barred free-for-all games such as Kill the Carrier. He's also rather fond of tennis, and is, in general, an excellent athlete. Vasiliy is a bit too proud for his own good, and always loves to be in the spotlight. Therefore, if he's ever bad in a subject - which he is, especially when it comes to math - he just pretends that the bad grades are intentional and that he just dislikes the subject. Vasiliy refuses to attempt to do anything to raise his grades, and therefore has nearly failed a few classes here and there.

Being the type to hold a grudge easily, Vasiliy does not like it if people are mean or cruel to him. He likes to be the one in control, the leader. Therefore, he was absolutely furious when his former girlfriend broke up with him. If anything, he would have wanted it to be him breaking up with her. Since she took the power, he holds a deep grudge against her. If it had not been for his friends, she certainly would have ended up in the hospital - Vasiliy is not the guy who believes men shouldn't hit women. Instead, he decided to take up on the dare, thinking it was a joke, and that he would look weak if he declined. Only now has Vasiliy realised the full depth of the situation he is in, and that he will actually have to do the one thing he swore to never do: date a guy.
.:Favourite subject/Subject they teach: Most likely science. He loves anything to do with biology or chemistry, and, of course, the labs in which he gets to set things on fire are always fun. Vasiliy is also rather fond of gym, mainly because he excels at it and finds it simple.
.:History: Vasiliy always had a good life. He was born in eastern Russia, near the Mongolian border, but his family moved to the USA almost immediately after he was born. His family was always very wealthy, and he had a lovely childhood. The fact that he was never declined whatever he wanted, no matter how expensive it was, turned Vasiliy into an arrogant little prick. If he didn't get what he wanted, he would throw a temper tantrum, and soon he would have it. It was this that led Vasiliy always having good grades throughout school, purely because his teachers were scared of his parent's wealth and power. The only person who seemed to see through this arrogant facade was his best friend, Dorian. Dorian was one of the few people who saw through Vasiliy's money and power, to the guy underneath. Vasiliy was absolutely shocked by this.

As Vasiliy grew older, he fell in with the 'Popular' crowd, as is normal for anyone with money and power to do. He slowly grew apart from Dorian, and eventually stopped talking to him purely because Dorian was 'unpopular', and 'populars' didn't talk with the unpopulars. Throughout highschool, Vasiliy had various girls hanging onto his arm, but he never managed to keep enough interest to stay with them for longer than a week. By the time he entered his senior year of high school, he had dated most of the girls in the school, and had gotten quite a reputation. Recently, though, his spirits have had a damper put on them, caused by his former girlfriend dumping him. He accepted the dare to date his ex-best friend, thinking it would be weak to refuse, and thinking it was just a joke. Little did he know how serious it could turn out to be.
.:Other: None

So begins...

"Oh, what a beautiful morning," Vasiliy sang, completely off-pitch, his Russian accent muddling his words. People were often shocked that Vasiliy even had an accent, after all, he hadn't lived in Russia since a few months after he was born. Part of it was probably from the fact that he learned Russian as his first language, and it was the only one he ever spoke at home. Another factor playing part in creating his accent could be from him visiting family in Russia every year or every other year. Either way, he spoke with a noticeable accent and couldn't pronounce a single thing properly. Not to mention, his singing sucked.

Rummaging around in his closet, Vasiliy tried to decide what he would wear. Unlike the rest of his room, his closet was an absolute mess. It looked like a bomb hit. The housekeeper refused to clean Vasiliy's closet because it was so messy, so it was in harsh contrast with the rest of his pristine room.

Eventually, he decided on a pair of dark grey skinny jeans and a tightly fitting black cotton t-shirt that showed off his muscles. Surprisingly, despite the disarray of his closet, neither article of clothing had any wrinkles. Despite the fact that they were all in aheap on the floor, most of his clothes were folded rather neatly and didn't get wrinkled, so they always looked nice. Vasiliy was glad for that; he hated it when his clothes were wrinkled.

The thin male walked into the bathroom the was connected to his room, grabbing a hair brush by the sink and running it through his long hair. Vasiliy loved his hair, and would cobstantly be brushing it. One of the perks of long hair was that you had to always brush it to keep it untangled, so Vasiliy used that as an excuse to brush his hair whenever he laid eyes upon a hairbrush.

Soon, he was prepared for the day, and walked downstairs. Two sandwiches were sitting on the counter, one for breakfast, the other for lunch, each one undoubtedly prepared by the family's chef. Vasiliy picked them up, putting them in his backpack, which was sitting by the door.

After pulling on sone black Converse boots that reached his knees, Vasiliy slung his backpack over his shoulder. His car was sitting in the driveway. It was a white vintage '59 Cadillac Eldorado, every piece of it original. His parents had gotten it for Vasiliy for his sixteenth birthday, and he treated it like it was  a god. This was probably one of his only belongings that he actually took care of.

After a shortdrive that lastedno longer than ten minutes, Vasiliy pulled into the parking lot of the school, his car screeching to a halt. Vasiliy had rather frighteningdriving skills, and few people would ever willingly get in a car with him.

Making sure his car was locked, Vasiliy walked into the school, backpack slung over his shoulder. Today was going to be a lovely day. His mood soured slightly as he saw his ex-girlfriend, a woman by the name of Toshiko, but it soon brightened when he saw one of his friends, Ivri, heading over to him.

"Privet, Ivri!" Vasiliy called, his friend responding with the exact same greeting. Vasiliy and Ivri would always greet each other in Russian, a tradition that had been started a few years ago when Ivri had asked Vasiliy to teach him Russian. Ivri was terrible at the language, and knew only a handful of words, but they still would greet each other in Russian.

"Still angry about Toshiko?" Ivri asked, falling into step directly next to Vasiliy.

"Do you even need to ask?" Vasiliy asked. "Oh, I vish I had a vay to get revenge." Clearly, he was feeling rather angry, because his accent was beginning to nearly cover his words, when usually he managed to keep it slightly less noticeable when he was speaking.

Ivri suddenly got a rather evil grin on his face. "I have an idea on how you can get revenge," he began. "Idare you to ask Dorian out on a date."

Vasiliy couldn't have been more shocked if he stuck a fork into an electric outlet. "Are you kidding me?! Are you insane, Ivri?! I'm not some queer. I don't like guys!"

"Yeesh, Vasiliy, calm down. It's not like you'd be getting into an actual relationship. It's just a dare. Besides, think about it. Toshiko would be furious. It's like you would be shouting in her face that you would rather date the least popular student in the school - despite the fact that it's a guy - than date her. It's an awesome way to get back at her."

Vasiliy sighed, and began to turn down a side hallway, not one he usually went down.

"Where are you going?" Ivri asked in confusion.

"To find Dorian. Your dare is accepted."

Why had he accepted this dare? With each minute that passed, more regret began to pool in Vasiliy's stomach, making him feel nauseous and terrified. Vasiliy didn't like feeling terrified. Of course, no human did, but for Vasiliy it was worse. He was used to being in control, being the calm one that people could turn to.  Being terrified, being out of control, was the worst feeling that could ever happen to him.

Why did he accepted the dare? He was torturing himself over this. He wasn't even gay! Not to mention, he was popular. Any sane popular didn't just randomly date the least cool kid in the school. Especially not if they were the same sex. That was another thing irking him. He wasn't gay! Never in his life had he ever even considered being with a guy. It was just to strange. Or, perhaps, queer would be a better word.

His heart nearly stopped when he spotted Dorian. What should he do? He wanted to turn back, forget about it all, but it was a dare. He couldn't just give up, not unless he wanted to become completely shamed. Only sissy's gave up on dares, after all.

Luckily, the appearance of the jocks gave him a few extra minutes to think. Vasiliy twirled his fingers in his hair - a completely feminine gesture, but he was nervous enough to not notice. Finally, he came to a decision, with the perfect timing. The jocks were just leaving.

Slowly, he walked over to Dorian, leaning his back against the lockers and looking down at the thin male. "Hey, Dorian," he greeted in a manner that he hoped was relaxed but for all he knew couldbe sounding like a terrified chihuahua. "Want tocome to the movies tonight?"

"Hey, Dorian." Dorian looked through the small gap in the locker he was in and saw... well, someone who had surprised him. It was Vasiliy. He had to remove his glasses, rub his eyes, put his glasses back on and take another look... Was it really him? He had a lot longer hair now. But, well, he'd still seen him around school, but every time he attempted to talk to him back as being first years, he'd simply ignored the small nerd. So, he hadn't talked to him for years, and suddenly he was talking to him now? Dorian was utterly confused, and just as he was about to utter a response, Vasiliy came back with, "want to come to the movies tonight?"

Dorian blinked a couple of times, things running through his head as he struggled to fathom what he was witnessing. Every day in school, every day since he had no friends, he'd questioned himself whether Vasiliy was actually friends with him in the first place. Why he'd ever believed that they really were best friends. And now, it was coming to this... WTF?

Dorian pushed his glasses up his nose and looked to Vasiliy, eyes narrowing slightly. "No thanks..." He raised an eyebrow to the boy. "I don't really think you wanna be seen with the most unpopular boy in school, even if he did put up with your ass for a majority of his childhood." He said sourly, folding his arms together and turning his head away from Vasiliy's gaze. Sure, it was mean, but he couldn't help holding a grudge. Life had gotten crappy. Hell, his best companion was his pet hamster. He bit his lip, before he looked more towards him. "What the hell though? You see me thrown into a locker and you see this as the perfect opportunity to ask me to 'hang out'?"

And, of course, his old friend who wasn't so much of a friend anymore was being rude, as usual. That was just cruel! Couldn't he see Vasiliy was being nice here? Vasiliy was offering to hang out with Dorian. Unpopular kids like Dorian never got chances like that, to hang out with one of the most popular kids in the school. It was cruel, and downright rude of him to decline. Vasiliy knew that now should be the point in time where he stormed off, but that would probably completely ruin his chances of actually being able to ask Dorian out and get revenge on his ex-girlfriend as well as managed to complete the dare.

He had to stay calm and try to be nice, no matter how rude Dorian was going to get. Otherwise he would never manage to complete the dare.

"You were thrown into a locker? I didn't see," he lied, deciding it would be best to play ignorant. Of course he had seen, but did Dorian really expect that he would do anything? Not only would it be far too uncool for him to be seen helping the least popular male in the school, but the jocks who attacked Dorian would also probably view Vasiliy as a target. If there was anything Vasiliy didn't want, it was to be considered a target. He had been popular for too long to want to fall from his ranking. Not to mention, he had already spent time 'training' the jocks that he was not one to mess with. Despite being fairly rich, Vasiliy still hated paying hospital bills, especially his own, and didn't want to have to 'retrain' the jocks. Besides, his parents didn't like it when he fought.

Not that Vasiliy ever actually paid attention to what his parents liked or disliked, but he could still lie to himself and tell him that he did care.

"Well, that's the perfect excuse to come to the movies later," he stated, as if that were the natural thing to think. "There's nothing like having something to look forward to after a bad morning slash day." Not that Vasiliy would know anything of what it was like to have a bad day; his money ensured that the worst thing to happen to him was boredom. Getting into fights didn't count as bad events because he rather enjoyed them. Right now was probably the worst event of his life, in fact.

Why wasn't Dorian just agreeing to go to the movies? Most girls would be falling head over heels to actually be able to go somewhere with Vasiliy. Of course, Dorian wasn't a girl. For some reason, Vasiliy kept forgetting that. It wasn't that Dorian looked all that feminine, nor did he act particularly girly, so Vasiliy couldn't understand why he kept forgetting to view Dorian as another male. Maybe it was just his mind trying to block it out so that he wouldn't have to think about the fact that he, a straight guy, was attempting to ask another guy out on a date.

He decided to just continue avoiding seeing Dorian as a male. It was easier for him to talk to Dorian that way. Now if only Dorian would stop being so freaking stubborn!

Vasiliy really hated stubborn people. They were one of his biggest pet peeves. Of course, considering he could easily outmatch a mule in a stubbornness competition, Vasiliy wasn't really one to speak. Funnily enough, he also hated hypocrites. In fact, there were quite a few of his personality traits that he hated when they showed up in other people. He had yet to realise that he hated just about everything that made up his personality.

Dorian blinked a couple of times. Was this guy being serious? Like, really serious? For once in his life he was baffled completely. As soon as Dorian had focussed more on his future, it had been like he wasn't allowed to have friends. And it seemed that Vasiliy was the one to prove that by simply leaving him to himself in the school grounds. He used to be a friendly, sweet, shy kid. Although he'd never admit it, he was. And now, look at him. Bulky fish-bowl glasses, shoved into a locker near enough every day and living life trying to get along without thinking about the chaos and depression he could go into at any moment. He didn't give a flying donkey's ass about popularity, but it seemed that in order to get somewhere at this age, you needed some of it. And he just couldn't find any...

"Vasiliy, I must say, that sounds more like something I'd dread than look forward to." Dorian said, folding his arms together and then pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose. He let out a small sigh.

Part of Dorian, a small part of him was thinking about the Vasiliy he knew as a kid. Perhaps he'd change. Maybe he does that. Just flip from best friend to total douche-bag. Or maybe he was just wishing that. Yeah it was probably that. This was probably going to be for some lame joke with his new douche-bag friends. They're all douche-bags...

Dorians face softened slightly as he suddenly felt a little sad, and yet... incredibly intrigued. "Why do you want to go to the movies with me anyway." Dorian mumbled, though it was comprehensible enough for Vasiliy to understand. "You and I both know it'd be just as lousy for you as it would for me." Though Dorian didn't know it was entirely true.

For all he knew, Vasiliy would actually be his normal self and maybe, just maybe, Dorian could enjoy himself. Maybe. Probably not. But those pondering questions were the one's running through his mind, and he couldn't help but think them over and over. "I don't understand this... This."

Why couldn't Dorian just agree already? This was beginning to get so annoying, and rather awkward as well. Wasn't Dorian happy he was actually getting a chance to talk to one of the most popular guys in the school? Vasiliy didn't talk to just anyone, after all. There had to be a good reason for him to talk to anyone - apart from Ivri, of course. Ivri he would talk to at any time - especially when it came to talking to people who weren't particularly popular. This was an honour. Why was Dorian not realising that?

Vasiliy shrugged. "Am I not allowed to ask you to go to the movies?" he asked, faking innocence. He was doing a lot of faking, it seemed. This was beginning to annoy Vasiliy. He hated faking anything, even if it meant covering up his arrogant personality so that he could actually get along with other people. Or, perhaps, he was actually faking the arrogant personality and then double faking to have a nice personality. Then again, that wasn't very likely. Vasiliy was so painfully arrogant that it was nearly impossible to believe he could be faking his personality. Who knew, maybe he was, maybe he wasn't. Vasiliy certainly wasn't going to be the one to tell which one it was.

"Maybe I just want to hang out," he suggested, tilting his head to the side and shrugging slightly. His attempt to look innocent and friendly didn't really work; it was rather difficult to look innocent if you were practically a foot taller than the person who you were talking to, and looking friendly never was easy if your face was accustomed to being curled into an arrogant sneer. He still deserved points for trying, even if his attempt at a smile looked like he was grimacing in pain. At least he tried.

Vasiliy summoned what he hoped was a confused expression onto his face. "What on earth are you confused about. I'm asking you if you want to come to the movies this afternoon. It's not rocket science or anything. Even if it was, aren't you the science nerd who knows just about everything?" For once, he actually was giving what appeared to be a compliment, or, at least, an attempt at giving a compliment. Vasiliy and giving compliments didn't really fit together all that well. There was no natural union between man and compliment. But, hey, once again, at least he tried, and that was more than what you could usually expect from Vasiliy.

Dorian rolled his eyes, folding his arms together. "Aha, I sincerely doubt that you would just want to 'hang out'." he snapped as he closed his eyes and let out a low sigh. He knew Vasiliy, and he almost always had a reason for somethin. Yes, Vasiliy had changed, but somethings never change in people. Things like this... They'd both changed. Though where Vasiliy got more pompous and dated every girl in school, Dorianhad just gotten sour and more shy than before. Though it wasn't a cute shy. It was a loner have-no-one-and-hates-it shy.

"Vasiliy, tell me what's really going on here." he decided to ignore the attempt at a very strange compliment. It was impossible for anyone to know everything, but now it seemed like it was just getting plain awkward. Why the hell was he acting this way? He knew Dorian wasn't stupid and knew that no one would suddenly change that quickly. Well, unless you had a mental disorders. "Is this some kind of joke? Because I'm not finding it all that funny..."

"Why do you doubt that? Am I not allowed to just want to hang out?" Now this was just insulting, plain and simple. Who on earth did Dorian think he was, to believe that he knew Vasiliy well enough to say that Vasiliy always had a reason for something? To make matters even worse, Dorian was right. That was embarrassing. Vasiliy hated it when people were right about him. In his opinion, the only person who deserved to know anything about him that was actually right was himself, and sometimes not even that.

He forced himself to flinch back, drawing a hurt expression onto his face. If there was one thing Vasiliy was good at, it was acting. In fact, if he was less lazy, he could easily get the lead role in any school play he wanted the role in - well, maybe not if the role was female, his voice was a tad too deep - but he never actually was motivated enough to take part. Not to mention, drama kids were wimps, in Vasiliy's eyes, and he certainly didn't consider himself a wimp, although he may have been a bit of a coward.

"What joke?" he asked, his brow furrowing and voice rising in pitch at the end of the sentence, making him sound just as hurt and confused as his expression would lead someone to believe; that is, very. "Isn't it fairly obvious what's going on? I'm asking you to the movies, nothing more, nothing less. There is no joke. There's just me being an innocent guy trying to hang out with his friend."

"Friend?" Dorian's face went cold, frozen for a moment as a rush of thoughts and feelings rushed through him, trying to decipher it all. Years of feeling like he was abandoned and suddenly alone being questioned as to whether it actually happened. Of course it had, but right now he was questioning left and right. He stood, emotionless for a moment, before he pushed a certain point of the locker and it opened. He stepped out, his face turned to steel as he looked to Vasiliy.

"Friend?!" he hissed, glaring daggers at the other boy. "You stopped being friends with me the moment I became too much if q dork to even spare a "hey" when you walked down the hallway." Before Vasiliy could respond, Dorian took a step away. "Dont use that innocent act on me, I've known you for most of our lives, and I know what a stuck-up ass you've really become." he picked up his bag and books and pushed his glasses up his nose further. "So dont think just because you're rich and popular that you'll get your own way, because I.know when someone's good for me, and when someones bad for me and trust me." he turned away from him. "You are beyond bad for me."

Dorian knew that he was being evil to Vasiliy, even when he was showing kindness. But he couldn't help it. As much as he wanted to.believe that Vasiliy had changed, he could see right through the act. He'd seen the boy.change over the years, and he had seemed to become cocky and arrogant as time passed by. Dorian knew that he couldn't change over one summer. There was something more going on here, and he was pretty sure he didn't want to get involved. And so what did he do? He walked don the hallway and trie,to walk away. Sure, it was slow, due to his short legs, but he.was still.walking away from something he may or may not have wanted to get involved in.

This was not going the way he had planned. Why was Dorian being such a jerk? Couldn't he just accept already and make Vasiliy's life so much easier? It wasn't like it would kill Dorian to be nice for once. And besides, Vasiliy would pay for the tickets and everything, so Dorian wouldn't even have to worry about not having enough money or stuff like that. Besides, didn't Dorian like movies? Sure, he probably liked books better, but what human didn't like movies.

"Wait!" Vasiliy called, an idea suddenly coming to him. "I already have the tickets for the movie!" Now where did that come from? He didn't have tickets; hell, he didn't even know what movie they were going to see. But, hey, if it would stop Dorian, that excuse could work. Now he'd just have to think of what movie it would be. Why was it now, of all times, that he forgot every movie that was currently playing in theatres?

"Well then, why don't you take one of your millions of girlfriends with you?" Dorian questioned rudely, turning and glaring at him. "It's not like I'm suddenly more important than your millions of chicka's. Hell, I bet you've dated all the girls and have moved onto the boys now, haven't you?!" he meant it in a piss taking way, never thinking it was actually true. Why should he believe that Vasiliy couldn't take his latest girlfriend to the movies instead of him? As appealing as going to the movies was, Dorian wasn't sure he wanted to go to the movies with him. He turned to Vasiliy. "If you've got tickets, I'm sure your girl will go."

"Maybe none of them want to come," Vasiliy shot back, folding his arms across his chest. He was getting just about ready to pull his hair out purely out of frustration, which was a new level of annoyance for Vasiliy. Vasiliy never did anything bad to his hair. Never. Well, that was a bit of a lie. He did dye his hair occasionally, but he always made sure to use lots of conditioner and fairly hair-friendly dyes, so there was only a minimal level of badness when it came to dyeing his hair.

He stiffened at Dorian's next comment. Had Dorian really seen through his motives so easily? The thin male quickly grew more relaxed upon realizing that it was probably just the first thing that had popped into Dorian's head. Besides, it wasn't like he was actually intending to date Dorian. He just needed to do this one dare, and then he could 'dump' Dorian soon afterwards. So what it Dorian hated him for that? It wasn't like he was handing him a bouquet of roses right now anyways.

"No, I am not, for your information. There are still some girls I haven't dated," he stated. Of course, most of those girls were probably lesbians, or just really uninterested in guys, and Vasiliy wasn't all that willing to date them. He didn't like dating people who didn't fawn over them. "Anyways, all of my girlfriends, current or ex, are busy. They're planning some sort of party or something. So, is a simple 'yes' really that hard to say? Yeesh, I'm offering you a free movie. The least you could do would be to accept."

Dorian was getting pretty annoyed now. This was becoming incredibly annoying, and Dorian was almost ready to actually get into a locker without being forced to. Why the hell was Vasiliy this desperate to go to the movies with him. It was getting to the point where he just wished that he would go away. Vasiliy never usually harassed people into going places with him. Usually Vasiliy would ask once, maybe twice, and then that was it. He'd never heard of Vasiliy doing something like this before. The boy was popular. Very popular. If he'd ask anyone else they'd probably say yes, but Dorian knew better. However, right now he was on the edge of reason. Dorian was just about ready to run into a bully and call them a baldy just to get out of talking to Vasiliy.

He turned to the boy with an irritated sigh. "Look, I'll go with you, if you stop harassing me like this!" He hissed, folding his arms together. "Obviously you can't see that I don't want to go with you. But if it's going to shut you up, then fine I'll go." Dorian straightened his shirt out and then pushed his glasses up his nose. "Now please, if you'd leave me alone, I have music class. Do you really want to be seen with me around school much longer? A guy as popular as you hanging around with a geek like me?"

"I'm not harassing you!" Vasiliy protested, crossing, uncrossing, and recrossing his arms across his chest, as if he had no clue where on earth to put them. "I'm just asking. It's not like I'm being rude or anything." Clearly, Vasiliy's definition of 'rude' was slightly different from that of other people. Not to mention, he most likely believed that the only time people could be rude was if they were rude to him. Vasiliy most likely didn't believe that there was a possibility of him being rude.

"Well, I'll meet you outside the front doors at the end of the day today, then." Vasiliy spun around, beginning to saunter down the hallway. "I'm off to Bio. Mr. Abel was threatening to give me more homework if I was late again, so I'd rather be early and not have to do the homework than be late and have to do it." Of course, Vasiliy wouldn't have done the extra homework even if he had gotten it, but he could still pretend that he would have done it. Everybody knew that he wouldn't do it anyways, so it wasn't like he needed to say anything.

Dorian Hillbrooks

Dorian just seemed to ignore Vasiliy's last response and walked on down the hallway, thinking over what had just been discussed... Had he, Dorian Hillbrooks, seriously just agreed to go to the movies with him, Vasiliy Kozlov -popular boy around school? It seemed unreal. Completely and utterly unreal... He was dreading it in reality. However, this was precisely the reason why he was going to the music room. In truth, he didn't actually have to come into school so early today. He started with a free period, and that meant he was simply going to the music room to fill the boredom. However, this could possibly distract him in this... dilemma with Vasiliy. He had made it to the room quite quickly, being in a rush to just get out of plain sight.

He slowly creaked the door open, noticing it was empty and managing to have the slightest of smiles to himself. He went in, leaving the door open a little and then looking around the room. They've redecorated... he sighed gently, though it was kinda hard to miss the piano in the room. It was rather large, and certainly not something that could be veiled in a music room. The nerd slid his fingers across the keys of the piano, not yet making a sound, but planning on doing so. As long as the room stayed empty, he'd be okay... He sat down on the red-cushioned music stool and then let out a gentle sigh, slipping off his grey sweater and then relaxing. He slowly closed his eyes and then pressed down, a chord ringing in his ears and causing him to smile even more. Dorian pressed again, and then again, until he started making his fingers dance around the piano. He started to play a song called 'Nuvole Bianche', one he had learnt long ago and never stopped thinking about. He relaxed, thinking about the piano and nothing else. His mind cleared of the mess that had happened this morning and he just fell into thinking only about the music he played...

Marie-Ann Jones

"Gym is just dumb in general." Marie responded with a grin as she walked towards her desk and got out a notepad and slid the pencil out from behind her ear. "I can choose how fit I want to be in my spare time. I don't need some loud-mouth to yell in my face about it, thank you very much." She smiled and laughed a little before scribbling down the excuse on the paper and then signing it. She ripped it off and then looked at it for a moment. Hailey really was a nice kid... she just hoped she could see more of the student. It felt like, to her, that it may be possible that Hailey would just presume that Marie was just being a weird teacher, trying to act like a youngster. But it really wasn't that at all. She just saw teaching as an opportunity to share her experience and then manage to get to know them in the progress. It didn't feel all that professional with her, but that was just the way she liked it. Laid back and friendly.

She held the paper out to Hailey. "Well, I'm glad you know I'm actually a person too..." She said with a grin. "But, I'll just let you know, if you want to come up here to do any art stuff, anything at all, then I'm here most of the time, and I'd be happy to see someone in my breaks." She smiled and then let out a gentle sigh. Don't get it at home, just hope I will here... she looked towards the clock to check on the time.
