Description: First of all, no face tat. Brandon is quite small for a guy, standing around 5’5 and weighing around 115 pounds. He does not exercise much and therefore has little muscle but keeps healthy by maintaining a good diet.(again, no face tattoo)

I Otherwordly changed into a: Vampire, though his new form has not altered his physical build much, he is still the same height and roughly the same weight, he has gained a little muscle mass. Other than that he has vampire fangs now and his eye color has changed to a dark red. His new form requires that he drink at least a liter of blood each night to survive. He has somehow also woken up in a expensive looking, gray, tailored suit with a red tie and black dress shoes. “Wha! What’s this?! Fangs? Ahhh!”

Personality: Shy, scared, and frantic are all traits that describe Brandon. In meeting new people he is visibly scared at the thought of their rejection of him. He is scared at aggression exhibited by anyone and will beg their forgiveness if they direct it at him. Even when there is no imminent danger, he appears to be on edge and tense as though there are monsters lurking around every corner. He is a scared cynic and when faced with danger will assume the worst, “There is no hope! We’re all gunna die!” Would be his first reaction to hardship if running away was impossible. Anyone who shows him kindness, will find that he is very clingy once he is able to get over the majority of his fear about them.

However, he does have some redeeming qualities. He is hardly ever angry at anyone, if someone were to steal his food he would simply accept it and hope it helped them. He hates conflict between people and will try to resolve it the best he can, although that may not be very well. He cares more for others much more than himself and would not have a second thought (other than fear) about sacrificing himself for a stranger. He is an accomplished cook and enjoys making food for people as it is one of the only times he receives compliments. He also enjoys cleaning and other house chores as it reminds him of someone from his past that he cared for.

Dreams: He wishes he wasn’t always so scared, but most of all Brandon wishes that he could have someone that loves him and he loves without being a burden to them.

History: Bradford has lived his entire life in and out of orphanages, he as abandoned at the footsteps by his mother and they took him in under the assumption that she could not care for the child. At a young age he overheard the proprietor of the first orphanage he attended talking about him, and how his mother had left him at their doorstep. “The poor woman, she probably is better off without the child.” The man finished. This caused him to develop low self esteem at an early age but also made him a little happy that his mother could live happily.

Due to these feelings, whenever someone would come for an adoption interview, he would be very scared that they did not like him and eventually run out of the room. The other orphans saw this display of fear and would tease him from time to time about it. They would play pranks on him, pretending to be ghosts or other monsters that came to eat him. Brandon started to become more and more fearful and jumpy, always running away at the first sign of trouble.

As time progressed and he grew older, he was moved up the chain to different orphanages. He met a few close friends along the way that tried to help and take care of the scaredy cat , but they were always soon adopted because of their pleasant personalities while Brandon still retained his fear or rejection.

Around 14 he met a young maid around 26, Sarah, that worked at the orphanage, she was very nice to Brandon and he in turn helped her with the cooking and cleaning. He liked her a lot and she tried to help him to feel more comfortable around others ,but it never seemed to help. He really tried to connect with the other orphans, but they too were a little traumatized themselves and did not want to deal with him. He did however, get extremely good at house chores such as cooking and cleaning.

Soon he became attached to the maid, gaining him the nickname mama’s boy around the orphanage. He always ran to her when he was in trouble and spent all the time he could around her. Finally, on his sixteenth birthday he asked if she would adopt him saying that he would do his best to not be a bother. The woman was surprised and saddened, she said that she really couldn’t, she had just gotten married and they were moving far away next month. Brandon was devastated, the one time he had actually though he could have had a chance at a family was trashed. He spent the time until she left secluded and depressed. However, as she was leaving on the last day, he looked out the window and saw her and her husband embracing. “…she probably is better off without the child.” the voice of the man resounded in his head as he let out a small smile and thought at least she was happy.

Month’s later, a man came to the orphanage saying that it was about time to move on to the next orphanage, mentioning something about a Brittle House.
