Why are you an Orphan: My parents were killed for being vampires, staked in the heart and burned, but I got away.....their memory will always be in my heart....

What do you think of being an Orphan: It is okay, I guess, you just have to survive and for me, that is easy.

Personality: She is a happy soul though her history does not portray that. She is naive too with it becomes to people, often trusts them too easily. She is unusually innocent in her ways for a seventeen year old. She is rather affectionate too, means well all the time.....but some may take it the other way.....yeahh....she got alot to learn.

Ever done a hard days work in your life?: Yes, worked as a black smith in the old age and a shop clerk....yeah, good with numbers and weapons. Quick to learn new things though.

History: Her mother and father gave her a pure silver locket with her pictures in it and her name ingraved on it, on her One thousand and four hundreth (1400) birthday. Was taught to use dark magic by her mother and father too.

How will your character feel about being owned by Brittle: Does not bother her much as long as she is treated with respect and has a time for herself to wander in the dark she is happy to have his company.

Things on her person:

Faithy-Jane carries a bag with the word 'Pip' on it that she wrote on, and if another does not know who Pip is well...they will get a nasty surprise...
Image

Her snake is a beautiful lime green snake with white dimond shaped spots and just like Faithy's eyes, he too has golden eyes. He has powerful venom with his bite. She often has him rapped around her neck. Faithy's Parent gave her a snake egg with her locket on her birthday and then next day a snake popped out of it. They have a strong bond of friendship. Pip can speak most languages but he still has his Russian accent.

So begins...

Time had passed in silence, and the tension in the air had dissipated, leaving only the awareness of a brooding kitsune and a preoccupied vampire. While Gwen was swimming through his jumble of thoughts, Ren had taken to seeing how many different foods he could blend in a wineglass. Noticing this, Gwen scowled, but couldn’t help but feel that the demented mess of colors and substances in the glass resembled his own sentiments. It just increased his irritation towards the vampire. The last thing the kitsune needed was a reminder of his bewilderment.

Ren suddenly set down the glass and food. “This is boring,” he stated, drawing up his feet to now sit cross-legged on the table, ignoring disapproving stares from his companion. “They aren’t waking up.”

Well, for that, Gwen was grateful. He didn’t look forward to seeing the humans’ reactions to their
alterations. They would awaken soon enough, but what then? Anger? Sorrow? Gwen didn’t know what to expect, but surely it would all be directed towards him and Ren. How was he meant to react? How should he react should such circumstances arise? Brittle had assigned him an impossible task

And then suddenly, there was movement.

Gwen noticed from the corner of his eye, a shift – one of the unconscious form moved, not in spasm from the changing, but seemingly of own will. The annoying mortal girl. The overemotional one. He watched intently as she pressed her fingers to her wrist and her eyes flickered open. They were unfocused, unclear, as he would have expected
but his concern was what would happen once she was fully aware. What was he meant to prepare himself for?

He very near flinched when the girl burst into sobs, but the kitsune somehow managed to maintain a calm, stoic manner. He noted how Ren peered down at the crying girl rather curiously from his perch on the table. Gwen didn’t like the expression on his face – comparing it to his previous blunder with shattering the wineglass, he seemed to have recovered far too quickly. There was a familiar mischief to the vampire’s eyes as he glanced at Gwen and gestured with an eager smile to the girl upon the ground.

The two otherworldly waiters watched as she staggered uncertainly on her feet. Gwen noticed how she immediately went to a different boy – the one whom he had deemed the irritating one. His gaze followed the girl’s motions as she propped the unconscious figure in a chair and stared at him. The kitsune was just a little appalled. Didn’t she notice the strange alterations? Or had she actually managed to ignore the new appendages?

Another girl for sure, most certainly had not. A loud clatter alerted Gwen, his ears pricking up before flattening at the jarring noise. Abruptly turning, he saw that a different orphan had awakened in a slightly more hysterical manner
it was the newly-changed kitsune. Both waiters shifted their gaze just in time to see a chair topple to the ground, and the girl catch sight of her new reflection. Gwen took in her expression, seeming far calmer than he felt. In fact, his true sentiments resembled her expression. Confusion. Fright.

In her altered form, the girl was just slightly more menacing than before when she clenched a fist and glared at the two waiters. “What have you done to me?!” she shrieked, her voice loud enough to grate at Gwen’s sensitive ears. He managed to keep cool in demeanor, but inside he was a little jostled... and completely unsure of how to react. Anger. He had realized this would be the most obvious emotion to deal with
but he didn’t know how to handle it. Seeing as Ren had managed to keep a level head through the night’s events, green eyes flitted in the vampire’s direction to see if the other waiter had even an inkling of what to do.

Gwen noticed with dismay, that the vampire seemed rather excited by the new exchange. “The change turned out nicely,” Ren mused, and Gwen was struck by the urge to hit the other waiter with a tray. Of all the possible things to say, that was clearly one of the least acceptable options. However, with conflicting impulses, Gwen wasn’t at all sure what to do himself. Sympathy – despite himself, he remembered his own moments after changing, and found a small, fleeting urge to offer comfort. Unease – he wanted to avoid these turned humans completely because of this unwanted sympathy.

After moment’s hesitation, he managed to say, “Explanations will take place after everyone is conscious.” The tone came out colder than he had actually intended, but he couldn’t help that. Glancing once more at all the limp forms in the extravagant room, Gwen held back a sigh before quietly adding, “They will all awaken momentarily.”

Taking heed of her speech, the newly-turned vampire stayed silent. She also got rid of much of the blood - quite quickly in fact, and removed her blood stained clothing. She placed her hands in front of her politely, staying quite silent. Rie could only catch the hint of a slight sigh escaping her. The huldra glanced over her with a cursory glance - she was just the same as much of the workers at the Brittle House. Vampire. “So you do clean up after all,” murmured the employee, quietly to herself.

Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she saw something flare up. Stumbling backwards from her place on the floor, she watched in horror as the will o’ the wisp turned into a bonfire, bringing a burning sensation to her skin. She drew back towards the door, inching further and further away from the burning otherworldly spirit. She watched the ground close to the glowing figure closely - hoping that it wouldn’t burn down the entire structure.

‘The closest water supply would be the customer’s rooms. Nymphs and dryads are mostly on the left side of the second floor - and their rooms are always wet after all. There should be an empty one around that area somewhere
we could probably find one in a few minutes
but by that point - ’ Shaking her head to get the negative mental images of the Brittle house burned out of her head - it was her home, after all, she took a deep gulp of the air to maintain her calm. She stood up, back placed firmly on the door, and shuddered in a mix of fear and annoyance. The glowing figure made its way towards the vampire and stood before her. “Do. Not. Blame. Her. she hissed, venom dripping from her words.

‘So - is this what she intended to do? Strange. I didn’t realize that these new orphans-turned-spirits would have such strong ties with each other. I certainly didn’t when I arrived here.’ Rie sighed - this venom was obviously pointed towards her previous actions. Falling back to what always had kept her alive through the years as a waitress, she put on her so-called waitress mask. She slowly stepped forward from her spot on the door to as close to the will o’ the wisp as she possibly could.

But before she got there, she heard something. “Thank you Mazu, you are so kind to stick up to me,” said the vampire - the cause of the flaring bonfire of a will o’ the wisp, was she not? Rie snapped her own eyes open to see what was going on - to see something that upset her confidence. The vampire placed one hand, ‘she’s completely calm! No trembling at all!’ on the fiery thing, Rie recoiled again. All she could feel were the flames licking up her skin, bringing with them heat and pain
Her pulse raced as her body tensed up to run away, and her palms became cold. Clenching her hands into fists, she was shocked by the vampire giggling softly to herself.

Was burning so enjoyable?

Clenching her blue eyes shut, she stumbled backwards again. At a point, halfway between the door and the two ex-orphans, she brought herself back up a poised, upright position, eyes still closed. ‘Just ignore it. It won’t burn you. Ignore it. Think of something else
like the face of the dryad, that I covered in dust’ Thoughts composed for the time being, she turned back to what she was going to do. Lashing her tail softly, she gave a slight smile. “Do not blame the vampire?” she gave a small chuckle, before shuddering inwardly. “Who said that I was blaming her? I don’t recall saying the words, I blame her.If you want me, I could, you see, will o’ the wisp. But, of course - you do jump to conclusions. I wouldn’t want you to have any bad ideas,” she continued with her waitress mask in place. Heaving a sigh, and closing her eyes, she continued with a smile. Hopefully, if her eyes remained closed, she could imagine that the flames weren’t, in reality, there. “Now. Here, in the Brittle House - for myself, at the least, the remedy for everything is spirits with honey. Any of you feel up for this?” It was always foolhardy to miss a chance for a prank - they were just spirits anyways. Her mouth widened into a smile, as she pictured what they would look like with these new additions to their skin and visage...
