Personality:

David has always been a difficult person to get along with. He's naturally pessimistic and mildly anti-social having inherently ill perceptions towards other people. When he is coaxed into social interaction he compensates by adopting a brash and loud attitude often pushing others into getting into trouble and bringing out the worst in them. His problem is he puts shell upon shell between himself and the people he interacts with. It doesn't help that he has a drinking habit. In reality, he often doesn't know what to think of the people around him. Only when he finally understands a person does he let down his barriers and cool off his temper. Those who manage to get close to him are there for good. Betrayals are devastating to him, when his trust is broken he will repeatedly attempt to punish the perpetrator until all hopes of repair are gone. He does not trust twice and he makes that very clear.
