Act I. The Profile
Birth Name: Martin Keating
Name: Martin
Age: 17
Race: Human.

Act II. The Diagnostics
Height: 5' 8"
Weight: 136 lbs
Hair: Dark Brown, wavy.
Eyes: Green.
Voice: Soft, often murmured, tenor.
Skin: Fair.

Act III. The Dossier
Likes: The company of friends, books, gaming, music, gadgets, planning, organisation.
Dislikes: Pushy strangers, plans being messed up, mishandled situations, inconvenience caused by authority.
Attitude: Martin can be quiet and reserved most times, generally quite submissive and patient. He'll fight tooth and nail (or tongue and wit) to stick up for Annie though; she having been a friend to him for six years, and having supported him through bad times.
Habit/Twitch: Martin has to know where his two companions are at all times -- if they make plans, then he has to know about them. This is why he hates Burden, because it's small enough that Annie and Michael often just wander off without any definite plan as to where they're going.
Quote: "Where did you say you were going to be again? No, no -- after that. Before that. In between them, yes. So what if it's only ten minutes, what if I need to find you then, huh?"

So begins...

"Annie! There you are!" As Lisa was retreating from the scene, another figure -- a boy clad in a simple t-shirt and jeans -- rounded the corner, and spotted Annie at the table. Brushing past the other woman on his way over (though obviously not walking into her, that would be rude), Martin walked his way up the street to a few metres away from where the others were gathering, at the table itself.

"There you are. Why are you hanging around a car shop anyway? And what's all this?" Martin gestured over at the police car. "See, this kind of stuff is why you should let me know where you are! What kind of trouble have you ended up in now?"

"A body? You mean, like, there's been a murder?" Martin's eyes widened at this. "Seriously? Maybe he's identifying something else, I don't know... an item or something? Lost property? Eh..." The boy shook his head. "I do not need some bloody American gun crime spree while I'm visiting, thank you!"

After frowning for a moment more, Martin seemed to register Annie's question. "The driver? No, he hasn't turned up either. You don't suppose he was murdered, do you? Oh god..."

Martin Keating nodded to himself, turning to glance at the last of the locals climbing into the car. "Whatever it is, it's got the attention of the locals. Eh, whatever. Yeah, Leah's probably pissing off the shop owner by now anyway, we'll have to drag her away before she literally talks the poor person's ear off."

Laughing lightly, Martin turned to walk alongside Annie, as both of them headed over towards the General Store.

"I guess, I mean, sometimes I get that impression but it's not much to go on, yeah? Later's good, mhm." Martin replied quietly as they entered, directing his attention to Leah and her companion afterwards. He raised an eyebrow, as Annie apparently recognised the woman that Leah was talking to -- he was the only one who didn't notice faces, it seemed.

"Hey, Leah." the boy said in greeting, lifting his hand up in a wave.

Martin Keating nodded to Annie as she headed back inside, before glancing at Leah. "While you were chatting up the locals, turns out there's been some sort of police investigation starting. We were just at the mechanics, and someone had to go identify something, possibly a body. The locals seemed interested, must be someone well known. Uhg, I just hope it isn't anything serious that'll mess up our stay here..."
