Introduction
WELCOME TO CHERRY TREE ACADEMY: SUPPORTING STUDENT LEARNING SINCE 1963

Every four years, Cherry Tree Academy receives a handful of students. Forget about the classical and boring ways of teaching math, history, literature, and science! The staff at Cherry Tree Academy support student learning with all their hearts -- just in their own special ways. Students at Cherry Tree Academy learn through field trips, and various hands-on activities. Hardcore learning? Maybe not. But the students here don't appear to want it any other way.
- Every week, students are taught a new subject through hands-on activities,
- Students are encouraged to be independent, and must do their own laundry, wash their own dishes, and make their own food
- Male and female students live in separate dormhouses, four to a room.
- Male and female Dormhouses are next to each other.
- Class starts in the morning with a daily jog around the school at 6:00 am. Tardiness results in punishment
- "Cherry" (the headmaster's granddaughter) will be there if your characters get lost or have any questions.
- A daily bulletin will be posted per each "in-game" day

((Let me know in the OOC if I should make any changes to the schedule, before everyone starts posting. Otherwise, you're free to start!))
Cherry pressed her face against the cool glass window, and peered towards the parking lot where the bus would be arriving soon. She took a step back, readjusting her glasses. After suffering through tedious and difficult courses throughout middle school, Cherry was thrilled at the thought that she was finally here, where she belonged. She had spent her entire summer memorizing the layout of the building, and understanding the inner workings of Cherry Tree Academy. She would be the one everyone would have to look up to, trusting that her memory wouldn't fail her. Though her grandmother constantly reminded her that she was also a student, she still liked to think that she was at least a little bit ahead of everyone else.
"Yes, yes they will. While this old woman makes her way down to the cherry tree, would you like to go and greet them?", the elderly headmistress replied. Cherry nodded her head eagerly in response, and began making her way down and out of the ancient three-story building. Her grandmother and previous headmasters before her had never found the need to rebuild the school building. After all, most of their time was spent outside. Cherry grinned, catching several petals on her tongue as if they were snowflakes. Cherry Tree Academy wasn't called "Cherry Tree Academy" for no reason; the blossoming branches of cherry trees added a pink hue to the blue sky above them, showering the ground with a coat of pale pink. She leisurely made her way towards the parking lot, keeping an eye out for the bus.
Katia checked the time on her phone and it clearly read ten-o'-five. She sighed for the umpteenth time as she finally shut off her phone to stop the relentless calls from her mom. Her black-painted finger nails tapped against the empty side of the seat she was in on the bus. Her aqua blue eyes looked around for the intended destination. She sighed once more as she tied her straight ink black hair into two long pony-tails on either side of her head. She kept chanting to herself in her head that she was ready for Cherry tree academy.
"Kinshi!" He heard his mother call loudly from downstairs, "Kinshi dear! You're going to be late for school!"
"I'm up!" Kinshi knew what would happened if he didn't get up, so he hopped off his bed, stretched his arms, and got to changing. As usual, he didn't brush his hair, leaving it being all messy and swiped everywhere as he always did. It was apart of his character, and appearance after all. He quickly changed into his school uniform for school, and headed down stairs. He expected to see an amazing breakfast, as he did every morning, but only saw his mother drinking coffee while writing music, "H-Hey... t-the food..." Kinshi said slowly, a bit saddened as his stomach seemed to have grumbled.
"You woke up too late today dear." His mother said, not drawing her eyes from the music as she added on another note, "Go on and walk, and along the way, here."
She tossed him a piece of sweet bread as he caught it in his hand and sighed as he said goodbye and headed outside with the bread already in his mouth, heading for the bus stop. Kinshi saw someone waiting there as well, someone who had an interesting color of pink hair as he raised his hand and said loudly, "Good morning~!" He obviously didn't know who it was, a female most definitely, but he was an easy going type of person, and always was friendly to others at first sight.
Katia was, to say the least, nervous. It was the first day of school after all. Along with that it was her very first day of high school. The one thing she'd hope to do was make friends with people. She wanted to move on with her life and start fresh. C.T Academy was the oppurtunity for her to gain that new start.
Atsushi rubbed his eyes as he rolled around in bed. As he tried to figure out what day it was, he realized he had to be somewhere. Right now. But where? That's when it hit him. School! Of course!
Atshushi leaped and tumbled out of bed, landing on his bare face onto the floor. He swore under his breath in Korean, then picked himself up. He took a quick shower, then wondered back into his room. He examined his messy room. Where is my shirt? He wondered, as he looked left then right. Then he spotted his all time favorite lucky white and orange stripped shirt. He grinned and slid it on. He ran downstairs and greeted his grandmother. She was a lovely old woman. She made him breakfast, oatmeal and raisins. His favorite.
He hurried outside and looked both ways before crossing the street to C.T Academy. It was a good thing he lived so close to it - or he would have been late. As he past the hallway, he spotted the daily bulletin. He was supposed to be in assembly. He walked into the room filled with students, and became a bit nervous. He kept his grin on his face, and took a seat. On the far left of him stood a girl with black hair. He glanced at the seat he had just sat in, then looked back at her. "Excuse me? Would you like to take my seat?" He asked. He never wanted to have the glory of taking a seat that a female was supposed to be sitting in before him. He gave her a corky smile.

She shook the thought off as she awaited for the assembly to start. She had also wondered who would be speaking and who'd she meet. All of those thoughts made her a bit nervous. She felt uneasy a bit but remained with her nonchalant composure. Katia had thought that if she didn't think too much of it and that if she let the day just happen she wouldn't feel so nervous.
Cherry smiled at the messy-haired boy, giving him an equally energetic wave of the hand.
"Hey there! Welcome to C.T. Academy!", she shouted out across the field of students exiting the bus. The boy looked like a delinquent if she'd ever saw one, but hey, it was too soon to judge. She wove her way around the crowd of students, pulled her neatly folded copy of the day's schedule out of her pocket, and handed it over to him.
"Here, you'll need this! The assembly's about to start, so we better get there soon. I'll see you around," she said, before running off towards the assembly.
As Cherry approached her designation she was surprised to see that it was already crowded with students. Students had already begun taking their seats, and they were filling in quickly. Taking a seat in the back row, Cherry peered around the spacious area. There were students of all different types of nationalities, some of them exotic looking and others not. As she gazed around, her eyes stopped on a small and eccentric looking girl with two long strands of black hair tied up in a pigtail. The girl seemed to be conversing with a male student with strawberry blonde hair who appeared to be her complete opposite. The male student was offering the other one his seat; a gesture that she had though was long gone in the population of high-school boys.
"Testing, testing, 1,2,3!"
Cherry quickly reverted her attention back to the front of the room, where her grandmother now stood.
Katia focused her energy on the headmistress completely and awaited for her to continue speaking. Katia had never been in such a school as Cherry Tree Academy. She had noticed a few things and inferred that puntuation was very important. She kept this in mind as she listened intently to the headmistress.

She re-adjusted her shoulder-bag and tried to keep from zoning out. Katia wanted to hear what else the headmistress would say but the nervousness was getting to her. Due to the nervousness she had trouble comepletely listening to what was being said and hadn't been brought back to reality until the headmistress was done speaking.
"I LOVE YOU TOO MOMMA!" Raina said running into her bathroom.
The fourteen year old walked down stairs and gasped at what she saw. Sitting there on the kitchen counter were two golden-brown waffles, drizzled with honey, lathered with butter, and dressed with several berries. Raina practically died and went to heaven. Standing next to counter was the creator of those masterpieces, Raina's mother, who was grinning from ear to ear at her daughter's reaction. The teen ran over to her mother and smothered her with kisses. "Thank you, thank you, thank you! And might I add, those are some incredibly sexy waffles you made there. Too bad I won't have you cooking like this for me everyday." Raina said pouting. Her mother raised a brow and spoke, "Sexy waffles? You my child, are weird."
Releasing her mother, Raina ignored the comment and began to gobble up her breakfast. After she was finished, she placed the empty plate into the sink and went to embrace her mother once more. "Look momma, this is your last chance to cancel this WHOLE thing because of the love for your darling child." Chuckling, Raina's mother grabbed her luggage and ushered her out and into the car so that she could drop her off at the bus stop.
The bus had finally stopped at it's destination and had started to let people out. Raina stepped out with her belongings and stretched. She looked at her surroundings and gaped at it's beauty. It was like one of those landscapes in those calendars her mother always had. Suddenly remembering the paper in her skirt pocket, Raina reached into it and pulled out the schedule for the day. There was a assembly at the moment, so she walked to where she thought it was held. By the time she got there, it was already over. Raina frowned and stood there like a bump on a log, many people bumping into her and giving dirty looks.
"S-Sorry I wasn't paying attention." Katia stood up and looked down apologettically. She expected the girl to start screaming at her, call her some name then leave. It was nothing new to her so it was expected. Katia hadn't kept eye contect with her due to embarressment she just hoped she hadn't angered the girl too much.
Quentin sniffed.
He crossed his legs and fingered the edges of one of his bag. No way in Hell was he going to go on a bus. Buses were disgusting vehicles meant for the middle-class. Buses were a means of transportation that stank of poverty and desperation. Buses inhabited cigarette butts, empty crisp packets, used condoms and scruffy newspapers – filth of the large variety, Buses represented everything in life which made Quentin drop to his knees and vomit. He hated, no, despised buses, he could not stress this enough. If this resulted in his tardiness, so be it! Quentin wasn’t exactly known for his punctuality, and the first day of school would be no exception.
The boy stood up from his seat and brushed down his uniform.
“Wadsworth,” Quentin shouted, “Wadsworth!”
A man, with clean silver hair and the tell-tale signs of age, strode into the Radford’s large sitting room. He approached his master and stood directly in front of him, traces of dignity identifiable in his proud stance.
“Yes, sir?” He said, clear as a bell, “What is it?”
“Help me with my things; you’ll be driving me to school.” Quentin replied promptly, before shrugging on a leather guitar-case onto his shoulders. Another guitar case was in his right hand and an amplifier was in the other. He made his way to the front door.
Wadsworth raised an eyebrow before dropping his gaze to the watch on his wrist. With a subtle shake of the head, he picked up the remaining luggage - which were two large duffel bags - and followed shortly after.
She walked into the lunchroom avoiding any eye contact with anyone. She went on line and got her food. Katia sat down at an empty table. She began eating and looked around at the crowds of students eating. She was still nervous and due to this she was unable to introduce herself to the people sitting at the other tables.
((Sorry for this horridly short post))

Katia finished eating quickly then walked out of the cafeteria. She walked along the halls until she found the music room. She snuck inside the music room. Katia looked around content with what she saw. She went over to the piano and sat. She pulled out a specific notebook and opened it where the lyric sheets would go. She started playing following the keys she had wrote down. Katia started a few lyrics off the top of her head that followed the melody she played.
