Raphael slowly opened his eyes. The sun was already high in the sky, indicating it was noon. He picked his cellphone, an iPhone to be exact, and checked the time. "Time moves quite fast. Time to get to the cafe." He ruffled his bright red hair and went off to the shower.

The hot water helped his rela and his thought process began to flow. A sudden incident about last night popped up. Last night four students had seen him and Donatello making off with the painting Leo had been residing in. "That's rather unfortunate." He quickly finished and left for his living room. He switched on the flat rectangular thing called a TV and flipped to the news. The fact the painting was stolen was brig reported, but...."Their are currently no leads to who could be doing this. However a call card was left." The camera zoomed in on a black calling card with an emoji cat on it. A police officer rushed to cover it from view. In the scene a few detectives were loitering around.

"Close one. Nearly dodged the bullet." He walked off to his room changing into his waiter uniform, combing his hair and ruffling it up. Then he walked out the door, slipping on his tennis shoes, and downstairs to the cafe below. The architecture in this age was beautiful as it was useful. The stairs were a single spiral with the railing in a Juliet balcony railing style. Around him the walls were painted in magificent murals by the other three artists. Even the ceiling was covered. As he descended into a small hallway, he noticed that his red apron was the last hanging again. With a subtle sigh Raphael it it on and walked into the cafe. It was quite lively now. "Afternoon, sorry I'm late." His mouth twitched into a devilish smile that was aimed toward a pair of girls sitting at a window table. He approached them with his notepad out. "What can I get for you to day, Ladies?"

Millie Hayes

Millie was early for their meeting. She was quite surprised at being so early really. She had been sketching in a park nearby, one way to clear her mind when she was troubled, and had only looked at her watch a short while ago. She had, obviously wrongly, thought that everyone was meeting now . Or perhaps she was in the wrong place?
Millie glanced across the street, there sat the Black Cat Cafe. It was one of the hottest little cafes in the city and, if the rumours were true, had some of the best looking men working there. Not that Millie had seen them before, but plenty of her other friends had been and they raved about the place. It was outside the cafe that the group had agreed to meet.
"Definitely the right spot." Millie thought to herself. She waited slightly nervously for her friends to come. She leaned back against the building behind her and glanced up and down the street, searching for her friends. She hoped they wouldn't be long.

They had all seen the theft last night, the painting stolen by two men. Millie almost hadn't believed her eyes, someone was actually stealing their university's painting. It felt almost personal, Millie was an Art student and she hated the idea of that painting being in the clutches of some greedy art thief.

Her stomach grumbled and Millie returned her attention to scanning the streets for her friends. Hopefully the sooner they arrived the sooner she would be able to eat. She had been sketching all morning and hadn't had any food since breakfast. Plus, the smells of food drifting over from the cafe were very tempting.
Millie folded her arms across her chest, her impatience beginning to show. Something poked into her arm and Millie glanced down to see a short stick stuck to her dress. The dress and leggings she was wearing had pieces of grass stuck to it, another side effect of her morning sketching. While she waited for her fellow students she began to brush her clothes clean.

Chie Ansel

Chie rubbed her eyes after letting a big yawn. She had stayed up a bit too late last night engrossed in one of her games, not to mention the uneasiness she felt after being witness to the thievery that night. Even now, sitting on the bus heading towards the spot she had agreed to meet with her friends she had a game in her hands. She had her bag placed in the seat next to her so that no one would sit there, it may have been a bit rude but Chie really didn't care, she didn't want some stranger sitting next to her.

Finally the bus arrived at the desired stop. It was a pretty short walk to the Black Cat Cafe from there but Chie took her time getting there, walking slowly with her eyes fixed on the small screen in her hands. Once she finally felt that she was getting close to the aforementioned cafe she peeked up from her screen. After a bit of time scanning the area she picked out someone familiar to her, Millie. With a small smile and a more lively pace she made her way towards her friend, chuckling a bit as she began to pick little bits of nature from herself.

"Yo." She raised her hand up and waved alongside her casual greeting. "You're here pretty early." Chie struggled to hold back another big yawn, but her efforts were in vain. "Ugh, didn't get much sleep last night." This was a fairly common complaint for Chie thanks to her gaming habit. With a small sigh she began to look around. Doesn't look like anyone else is here yet... Chie then joined Millie in leaning against the nearby building and turned her attention back to the handheld gaming console.

Fuck!

A good word to say right now just to describe how late the boy was right now, he promised Millie he would go. Hell the woman nearly made him write a written statement promising he would show up at the right time in front of that cafĂŠ. Why they choose the location knowing his general aversion to crowded places the blond will never understand.
Speaking of said blond…

“Ugh… damn troublesome robbery ruining sleep…” He mumbled half awake as he moved across the street down towards the subway. The soft hums of the pigeons flew overhead music sounded from the small cafes situated near his apartment complex. In every corner he looked he spotted the pedestrians making their way to their destinations. Some were fellow classmates at the university he currently attended. The boy sighed, when was it when he arrived here?

The final year of junior high… he remembered his grandfather asking what he wanted to do in life. He answered he wanted to study art. What he didn’t expect was for his grandfather to make this arrangement…

He arranged everything, his school, his boarding, and even now his allowance. Every month they would send a large sum for him to budget, and every month he made sure to use little of it as possible, saving the rest in a savings account for a rainy day.
His thoughts slowly wandered back to that day.

The day he actually found three people he actually trusted with his life. The boy knew he had trust issues and for him to trust others… well it was a miracle itself one that he didn’t even know how those guys performed. But here he was, actually dragging his ass out to meet those said friends.

Dammit… hopefully I’m not yet— The thoughts ran into a stop when he looked up the large clock right above the station.
He was… Early?

He could feel his eyelid twitch a few times then it stopped as people soon took a step back from the teen as if they could sense the malignant aura surrounding him. Then just like that he slammed his palm at his face. “Stupid… could have gotten at least an hour or two, at least Kurama has some food in his bowl…” He mumbled to himself, jumping down the steps leading into the subway. The young boy maneuvered his way over to the ticketing machine he swiped his card before going through then rushing into the tightly packed train.

Rush hour… oh how could he forget?

And with the news of the thievery that was all he heard during the ten minute train ride. Great way to forget something he had been trying to erase from his mind… he rolled his eyes at the gossiping ladies, running a hand at his wild hair he shoved his hands back into the pockets of his hooded grey vest.
Just a little more…

And the doors opened at the station he was the first to leave the train and the one to burst into a quick sprint up those stairs and into the crowded streets. Asthma be damned…

He was more scared of Millie’s temper rather than anything else.

It took a few minutes before he finally found the place, black cat’s café was it. The boy looked up at the sign. Yep this was the place, he panted lightly before he finally caught sight of two of his friends. Good.. he wasn’t the last one. Chie and of course, Millie was there waiting for them. He fished out his inhaler before walking towards them. His faded jeans slightly dusty but he ignored that. “Hey…” The boy greeted his two friends before he took a deep puff from his inhaler.

Smell of oil paint and the sound of a brush was heard in a lightly lit room. And in the middle sat a blue haired male who held a sense of authority and seriousness. His matching eyes were sharp and focused as he created a new master piece. Oh a master piece? Yes, he is the- "Finally another great master piece of Leonardo De Vinchi~!" He shouted, and smiled. Grabbing a thin brush, he signed with short "Leo." His Alias.

Pleased, he let the canvas dry and he got up to stretch. "This is satisfying~" He rolled his shoulders. "And now time for work." Looking over the canvas one more time, he nodded and took off his paint covered apron. 'Ah the smell of paint~'
He always enjoyed the smell of paint. it was one of the many familiar scents that stayed with him since 450 years ago.. It never left him. 'Neither my genius~' Leo chuckled, making his way towards the door. He, however flinched slightly. A sudden muscle pain from too much night "work" That reminds him.. the students. They saw him, all of them....And it was almost a failure.. But~ His smiled upturned to a smirk. "This Leonardo has no failures" yes, they escaped successfully only to be caught by four pairs of eyes.. A potential danger- "What am I thinking haha~" He opened the door leading to the cafe. "What are the chanc-"

Leo blinks. 'Eh.' Chance? No it must have been fate. A few of the students from the night before... A grin pulled at his lips, causing the customers to squeal. "Welcome loves~"

The girls swarmed around the counter asking for his attention but he winked. "Later doves." Walking off casually towards Rafaello, and rest his elbow against his shoulder. "Rapheal~" He leaned into his ear and whispered. "Look at those two." He nodded his head at the two students. "Familiar eh?"

His expression was completely normal with that narcissistic, but his eyes held a gleam of adventure.

Millie found, thankfully, that she didn't have long to wait.

"Yo." The voice made Millie glance up to find her friend Chie waving her a greeting. Millie smiled at the girl, straightening and giving up on clearing her clothes of small pieces of grass.
""You're here pretty early... Ugh, didn't get much sleep last night." Chie said, covering up a yawn. Millie wasn't surprised. Firstly because they had both been up late when they witnessed the burglary and secondly because Chie had a habit of staying up late gaming.

Millie had tried playing Chie's games, figuring that if her friend found it so fun than she should at least try it. She had given it a go and found, to her annoyance, that she had no talent whatsoever. So she had stopped, she would happily leave the gaming to Chie.

"I though I was late so I rushed over..." Millie started explaining. She stopped as she spotted a blonde head bobbing through the crowd towards them.
"Hey..." Came Minato's greeting before he pulled out his inhaler. Millie hid a smile behind her hand, her friend had obviously ran at least part of the way here.
"Great, now we just have to wait for Akito..." Millie gave a sigh and flicked her hair behind her back. Of course Akito was the last to arrive, "He's probably still sleeping." She remarked, shaking her head. That boy loved sleeping, almost more than he loved eating. Millie tried to remember if they had told Akito that they would have lunch at their meeting. That would have been sure to make sure he didn't sleep through their meeting.

Millie's thoughts seemed to drift away as two figures standing in the Black Cat Cafe across the street caught her eye. There seemed to be something familiar about the two but perhaps it was just the distance playing with her sight...

Akito Kouzakura

Akito slammed his hand down onto the alarm clock with a grumble. It was getting on his nerves, and he wasn't willing to try and sleep in with that... that monstrous object, ringing all day long. First time he brought his hand down, it was too light, so the alarm kept on ringing, non stop, and got even more onto his nerves. He opened his eyes finally, well, one eye to be exact, and this time, it hit, 'Thank the gods....' He thought, though he was still annoyed.

Then, something went off in his head, like he suddenly had an epiphany or something, though it was more like he remembered something, "Right.... We're meeting today... or something.... right? What a pain... I can't sleep in..." He sighed and kicked the sheets off, all of them falling onto the ground, messily, which he never bothered to fix.

What could you expect? Everyone knew him well enough that he was a lazy and pig eater.

Akito didn't even bother to stand up, he simply rolled off his bed, hit the sheets, and used the nightstand to somewhat help him regain his balance, or something around that sort. With his ruffled hair and unbuttoned clothing - The buttons were in the wrong areas, and some weren't even buttons at all - he headed for the door and was about to open it up, planning on just going out like that since he didn't care what people thought of a teenager walking around in pajamas.

But he also recalled that his three other friends may scold him, so he let go of the knob, and with an even greater sigh, headed back to his closet, now struggling to get the buttons undone and take off his sweat pants without falling backwards. In his eyes, things looked blurry and the earth was spinning. Perhaps he had gotten up too fast? Nope, he was just sleepy.

Akito always got more sleep than the average person. Some people thought it was really strange and was nervous that it'd affect his health as he grew older. Obviously, nothing changed. Akito was still that lazy heavy eater that always tried to take in as much energy as possible, and keep it for himself. In fact, he'd even fallen asleep when someone was talking to him. It's how he got expelled from his first school since he did it various times to different teachers.

A few minutes later, and with a great yawn, Akito was fully dressed in loose and light clothing. He aways thought that places were hot, even during winter, and even in colder areas with snow. He always wore the least amount of clothing possible. He even went snowboaring one day without a shirt because it was too hot. He learned his lesson after he fell face forward into the snow though.

Finally, he went outside, the first glance of the bright sun seeming to blind him. His room was always dark, usually to help him sleep in more without disturbances. Akito even planned to go back inside and just say he forgot, but that wouldn't be right. As much as he didn't show it, he enjoyed being around his friends. But obviously, what sort of lazy pig would say that outloud? Definitely not him. That was for sure.

He began to walk, closing and locking the door behind him, but then wondered out loud, "Where were we meeting again...?" Akito glanced down at the watch on his hand. He never really switched the time so it'd be correct, so it claimed to be useless as he just shrugged and tried to remember.

While doing this, he also kept an eye out just in case he'd pass them. And just to his luck, he did, all three of them. Unlike most friends, who would probably wave, yell, jump up and down, or do idiotic things of that sort, Akito didn't want to waste any of his precious energy, so he simply walked up to them, with another yawn, as usual and said, once he was close enough, in a very low and quiet tone, "Morning...." He didn't really know what time it was anyways, "You guys wake up really early... Really... how do people like you get such little sleep..." Akito asked while he ran his hand through that messy hair of his, that he still didn't bother to comb, like always. He heard of people who slept for around 10 hours or 8 even, which surprised him greatly because he got 10 hours of sleep at the very least.

"Eh, ah.... what were we doing here again...?" He asked, letting out another obnoxious yawn, identifying he didn't get enough sleep for his body, since he needed more than usual people did.

The police headquarters was in an uproar, interns rushing around to deliver paperwork to the various offices, officers grumbling about being called in on their day off, all in a flurry after the night before's crime. All except for one office which was eerily silent. The shades were drawn blocking out all but the smallest slivers of sunlight, only the light from a desk lamp and the lights from the hallway keeping it lit. There were two desks in the room, one on the neat side and the other covered with a mess of documents, empty coffee cups with only the dregs of the crap coffee served at the headquarters staining the bottoms, and on the right side books piled dangerously high. It was at that mess of a desk where the room's sole occupant sat as he had since he'd been kicked out of the crime scene so many hours ago.

'Go sleep,' His superiors had ordered without much real hope. 'We'll call you if anything happens.'

Only Detective Inspector Theodore Valentine hadn't gone to sleep. Instead, he'd merely retreated to his office in the middle of the night and kept working. Oh, maybe he'd dozed off for a moment or two during the night, but that hadn't lasted long. Tired eyes reviewed the same documents over and over, pictures from the crime scene spread out on the small bit of desk still clear as he finished another cup of coffee. It tasted disgusting, but it was caffeinated so he couldn't really complain. He let out a quiet groan as he set the styrofoam cup down, rubbing his face before picking up his pencil, staring listlessly at another photograph. It was that damn cat thing again, mocking him with its chipper face.

Last night was supposed to have been the end of this insanity, the night the art thieves that had plagued collectors and thrilled the French and, indeed, world media were to be caught. He'd been on edge, adrenaline coursing through his veins during the stake out at the University- his university. It would have been so easy to catch them, especially on his home turf when they arrived to steal the painting. It had all been going according to plan except... His grip tightened suddenly, the pencil shattering into two pieces. Except those damn kids had to show up and ruin everything. The thieves had gotten away and he'd been left with another new crime scene, a missing painting, and four kids who had all been less than cooperative during the questioning.

Sure, he'd been a little short with them, but like the perpetually irritating teenagers they were, they certainly hadn't helped the situation, more interested in leaving than actually helping the investigation. He rubbed his face again, letting his forehead rest on his desk for just a moment. Kids? He was calling his fellow University students kids? Sure, he was a few years older, but... Mon dieu, this case seemed to have aged him, at least mentally. It certainly didn't help how the media lauded the criminals, calling them "modern day Robin Hoods" like they were god-damn saints instead of the art thieves that they really were. What was he supposed to do with all of these obstacles in his way...?

Theodore sat up suddenly, pulling a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket and lighting one, taking a deep inhale before he let the smoke curl out of his nostrils, making its lazy way towards the ceiling before dissipating. Energy apparently renewed, he tossed the ruined pencil in the overflowing trash can next to his desk, filled with yet more papers and empty coffee cups and the occasional snack food wrapper, before returning to his work with a new vigor, cigarette dangling from his lips. Uncooperative witnesses, a foolish public, and clever criminals... They could try all they like to break his spirit, but he wasn't letting them get away with this. He was going to catch these art thieves, and that's what they were, thieves nor heroes, even if it killed him.

Eclair De Bordeaux

Eclair could hardly believe the night. The infamous Black Cats had stolen a painting yet again. A painting supposedly done by Leonardo di Vinci himself. "Narcissistic fool" The young woman murmured and then stopped in surprise. She couldn't know that and why did she spout nonsense about the renaissance artists. She shrugged and entered the police headquarters. A person at the front desk directed her on how to get to her new partner's office. As she entered the elevator, the info her boss gave on her new partner felt exaggerated.

"He's obsessive and paranoid. The guy also is one of those genius types who are bad with people and hardly take care of themselves. Now considering your type of persona and view of things you could be able to actually work with it, I mean him. His superiors wantedy help on this nut and you just might be able to crack him." The boss slammed his hands on his desk. "Starting tomorrow your new partner is Theodore Valentine!"

The brunette sighed and walked down a hallway. She stopped at a room and tried the doorknob. It was unlocked. Elclair opened the door and glided in.

The room was dark, a single lamp illuminating the place. As her eyes adjusted to the lack of lighting, she could see a figure smoking and in thought. The mess on his side of the room creating the perfect scene, Eclair wanted to create a sketch right now. But business brought her back from wishful thinking. "Excuse me...I'm Eclair de Bordeaux. I've been assigned as your new partner." Her voice was even, but inside she was nervous on what to expect.

Theodore was pulled from his thoughts with the sound of the door creaking quietly opening. For most, the act of someone coming and going from their office would be commonplace, either by a partner or coworkers delivering documents or just to talk. That was not the case for the young DI. For all the world, his office seemed almost off limits, a place where he took himself away from the world to ruminate on whatever case was placed before him. Rumor had it that if someone interrupted his concentration, he would blow up at them, shouting abuse and maybe even throwing something if their reason for being there wasn't deemed good enough. Such a thing had never happened, of course, but it was a rumor that Theodore himself did nothing to dispel. That way, even on slow days, he could hide away in his office to do homework. So, the noise of the door opening was altogether unfamiliar and probably meant that there had been a break in the case or one of his superiors was coming in to badger him about a press conference (which he had steadfastly refused to hold; he was no friend of the media, especially in this case) or to ask him when he'd finally catch the art thieves.

Wrong on all counts, he realized as he glanced up. In the dim lighting, illuminated by the hallway's lighting fixtures, stood a girl, well, a girl compared to the other women working at the police head quarters. She was short and pretty like one of the porcelain dolls his grandmother insisted on collecting with her flawless skin and icy blue eyes. He hadn't seen her around before, unsurprising given his habit to not socialize with a majority of his coworkers and even those others mostly for cases or the occasional expedition to a pub.

"Excuse me...I'm Eclair de Bordeaux. I've been assigned as your new partner."

The first thing that hit him was her name. Not that it sounded familiar, but her name was Eclair like the pastry. Even the though of food sent his stomach grumbling, echoing loudly in the otherwise silent space. His eyes wandered to the digital clock next to his desk(he'd had to put it there once he needed more room actually on the desk). Noon already? He rubbed his eyes. He'd been locked in here for at least nine or so hours then.

"You're my new babysitter then," He commented, a wry smile crawling onto his tired face as he took another drag of his cigarette, puffing the gray smoke in the opposite direction of his new partner. Partner. The higher-ups had tried this before and it had yet to work out. His partners often quit after a while, fed up with his behavior or irritated that they were being bossed around by someone younger and with less experience than them. Theodore stood up, stretching as he did so, and made his way past the mess that was his desk and around it, over to Eclair de Bordeaux.

"Nice to meet you, Bordeaux," He said, sticking his hand out for a handshake. She may be young, but if she was to be his partner, she was going to be treated like any other officer. "DI Theodore Valentine. You can call me Teddy, I guess. What do you know about the art thefts?" The change in conversation was quick, but it seemed fluid in Theodore's mind, still filled to the brim with stories about Renaissance artists, clever thieves, and obstinate teenagers.

An involuntary shudder went down the red head's spine when Leo placed his shoulder on him. "Mhmm." He looked up from his cooking to the now four students from the night before. "Milley Hayes, Chie Ansel, Minato, and Akito. " Raphael murmured as her placed the finished crepes onto a plate and placed the plate on a tray with an assortment of food. Illegally , he had hacked University records to get their student files. Apparently they were all art majors...."Table 13 Leo. Chop Chop." In his mind he was formulating a plan on what they should do. The best option was elimination of the witnesses.

However as Raphael was about to make his suggestion, a swarm of girls directly in front of him distracted him. "Leo, please go entertain your little fan club as well." The day was going to be another long one, but the gueasts must be happy. "Raphael, where's Arashi and Donatello?" A girl demanded. The painter gave a slow smile. "Apparently not here yet cherrie, please be patient." He pulled a pink rose from the multitude of flowers behind him that he cultivated for such a occasions and handed it to the girl. "Please accept this as an apology for my colleagues' tardiness." He put on an apologetic face, a crescendo of squeals following. The crowd was satisfied for now.

"Where are those two idiots." Raph went back to cooking at a much more forceful pace.

Eclair giggled slightly when her new partner's stomach growled. He called her his babysitter and shrugged with a smile and sparkling eyes. The smoke he seemed to intentionly blew at her didn't bother much. "I'm here to work on the case. Thats all, and I guess to be honest...my boss said something along the lines of babysitting though." His wry smile could be expected. When he came up to her to shake her hand she briskly did so. He went straight to the case after that and she held out an envelope containing her evidence and notes. On top of the envelope she held out a ball of rice.

"I know that the suspects are self-proclaimed vigilantes who steal art to give to the public. Know as the Black Cats, their team consists of four people. One of the members is identified as a hacker, his or her hacking skills resemble one from a hacker years ago. The four students last night witnessed their most recent crime and gave a vague description of men all in black." She finished with a small smile as he looked her partner in the eyes.

"That's pretty much what I know. Not much help...but I've heard your not the type to take care of yourself so I suggest you eat before we carry on." She took Teddy by the wrist and placed the rice ball in his open hand. "This called onigiri by the Japanese. Inside the rice I filled it with bacon." She scratched her head awkwardly "it's a strange combo but its oddly satisfying." With that said she released her partner's wrist.

Akito arrived not too long after the others, looking like he had just woken up.

"Eh, ah.... what were we doing here again...?" Akito asked, yawning. Millie shook her head, she had always been impressed with Akito's ability to sleep and sleep and sleep. The boy slept as if he had been awake for weeks.

"We need to decide what to do about the robbery." Millie answered, speaking more for herself than for everyone. She wanted to reach some sort of concensus on what to do. They had seen the thieves, even though it had been dark and the two men had been in black. They were the first to witness one of the art robberies and undoubtedly their cooperation with the police would help them find the thieves much faster. They hadn't been very cooperative to the police last night but that might have been, for Millie at least, because she was tired. When Millie was tired she found it hard to find the energy to do anything much. Her talking was reduced to grunts, simple yes and no answers and the like. "The police didn't seem very happy when they questioned us."

She glanced across at the Black Cat Cafe, "Why don't we talk about it over some lunch? I'm sure we can find a relatively quiet corner in the cafe." She nodded across the road. It was crowded with young people, women in particular, but she was sure there would be at least one table free and perhaps the amount of people in there would mean their conversation would be clocked by that of the noise around them?
Another reason to head towards the Black Cat cafe was the growing rumbling in Millie's belly. She hadn't eaten since breakfast and the smell floating over from the cafe was intoxicating.

Eyes opening, blinking a couple of times as the sun nearly blinded them with it's beaming light. Getting up and out of bed, he began stretching his arms out and trying to wake himself up. He didn't know what his mood would be today but, he hoped he'd be a bit happy going to work at the cafe. He absolutely enjoyed working at the cafe. Even if he didn't talk very much, and was distant to some of the new customers. As he was getting ready for work, he remembered those four students that had spotted him and Rafaello carrying a painting. Donatello thought they were scott free but, he was wrong. They still made it out with the painting, he didn't panic or anything, he was just a little surprised.

Letting that thought continue in his mind, he walked out of his room to his living room. He really enjoyed some of the modern stuff of today but, sometimes he finds himself questioning it. Donatello wasn't much of a morning eater so he decided that he'd eat something later. Looking around for a bit, he remembered that he had left the TV on maybe he forgot to turn it off. Walking towards the TV he turned it off.

Looking at the time, he was late. He wasn't always late but, sometimes keeping track of time was getting a little difficult. Donatello walked out the door and went to the cafe'. He took his sweet time not even caring to rush because, he was already late.Walking through the door, he kept it opened for a couple of people before letting it close.

Walking towards Rafaello and Leo he nodded at some of the girls who were regulars at the cafe. Donatello sighed in his head and beside the counter. Sometimes he was late and he sometimes tried to avoid conversation and say sorry. "I am truly sorry for being late." A group of girls ran up to him, Donatello smiled and said sorry to each of him. "Excuse me, I have to get to work now."

Donatello bowed slightly and walked into the kitchen, he started to wash his hands. "I'm sorry for being late, I might have lost track of time." Actually he did lose track of time, he nodded at Rafaello and walked towards a few people that just sat down. "What can I get for you today?" He smiled and took out a pen and a notepad out of his utility belt and wrote out what they had wanted.

Looking from the corner of his eye, he had noticed the students from last night. He looked back at his notepad and bowed before walking towards the kitchen. What a lovely coincidence, he thought. He was actually lying on the lovely part. Those kids could tell the police about their location and it could ruin everything they worked for. Donatello didn't like that one bit.

One by one… the streets around them grew more crowded. A nagging feeling spoke from the deeps of his stomach, no it wasn’t hunger. He would know if it was if it had growled. He actually prayed at first that it was hunger. Easier to dismiss, instead it had been nervousness, fear and discomfort for being in such a crowded place. It made the boy feel vulnerable…

A feeling he long ago swore he would never let himself fell. He’s a but mere human though… no matter what kind of repression he does, fear and vulnerability always finds a way to crawl in. Like now, his face barely showed his discomfort. He tried to ignore the sickening feeling at the pit of his stomach. He’s getting paranoid… ever since last night he couldn’t help but feel like something was going to happen. Pretty soon...

The boy was going to wish he listened to his gut feeling rather than his sense of morality. Did it even exist? The boy pondered upon that thought while his friends spoke only for his thoughts to run dry when he heard a familiar voice spoke.
” You guys wake up really early... Really... how do people like you get such little sleep...”

That familiar voice of the lazy Akito spoke. Minato didn’t hold back the smirk that crossed his face. A rare one that he only let his friends see, leave it to Akito to forget and fall asleep. So the next sentence that left the boy’s lips hardly shocked him. “Sheesh… And here I thought the sound of food made sure you wouldn’t forget Aki.” He spoke with a slight quirkiness in his tone. Food sounded so good right now…

If his body wasn’t still trying to wake up, his stomach would be growling along with Millie’s. Speaking of which… he poked Chie’s arm to listen he then turned back to the conversation. They…were going to eat here? True the smell of crepes was temptation on legs but still… there was that hesitation lingering in his mind that he didn’t want his friends to notice. After all they already planned this… He nearly let his thoughts wander until he heard Millie’s statement about last night. His eyes narrowed slightly. It was no brainer he hated anything that has to do with the justice system… They were a bunch of chivalric idiots who were only after fame and glory… who would rather judge an innocent rather than the perpetrator themselves.

After what happened to him in the past, it was no surprise he held a bit of contempt for the law enforcement. “I say we just forget it happened and not get involved…” The boy murmured. Still yesterday he was probably a hell lot more annoyed at the questioning. He didn’t plan on talking to those people. Ever.

Her two other friends arrived not too long after she had, greeting them with a "Yo." or a nod as she focused on her game. Her attention however was pulled back to reality as Millie brought up the happenings of last night. The whole thing had unnerved her greatly, she had just wanted to leave and was really a lot less cooperative with the police than she should have been. Police, criminals, it all made her nervous as she often associated such things with violence. The idea of lunch however was a much happier thought to her. "Sure. Lunch sounds good."

She pocketed her game and looked across the street towards the Cafe. It looked kind of crowded, Chie preferred quieter places but this cafe was quite clearly the closest. With a short yawn and a stretch she began to walk towards the cafe, not really caring to continue simply standing around or even check if her friends were following her. She would however stop near the front door to the cafe, waiting for one of her friends to step in first as she was not quite comfortable just walking in on her own and talking to a waiter or something.

She really hoped the waiters weren't the overly friendly type. Those types always annoyed her (Then again, a lot of things annoyed her). A waiter's job is to wait, to take orders and deliver food, not to start up meaningless conversations in the hopes of garnering a larger tip. And so with a short sigh she waited for her friends to catch up.

"I'm here to work on the case. Thats all, and I guess to be honest...my boss said something along the lines of babysitting though." Theodore quirked an eyebrow at the response, giving his new partner an appraising look after their brief handshake. Her grip was solid, unlike the frankly weak handshakes a lot of the people he met had. That was the most honest reply that he'd been given out of all of the people his superiors had lined up as partners. Generally the reply was a fake smile and hollow assurances that they were just here to help. Yeah. Right. He sent another cloud of smoke in the air, this time pointedly away from Bordeaux. If she had the courtesy to be honest with him, the least he could do was not send a cloud of second-hand smoke in her face.

"That's the short of it," He said after her brief summary, reaching out to take the envelope of evidence from her hands, only to be stopped when she grabbed his wrist, putting a ball of what appeared to be rice in his outstretched hand. He stared down at it blankly as she explained what it was. A Japanese food called onigiri? Filled with bacon. She was giving him food? Well that was unexpected. Well, unexpected but not unwelcome. His stomach rumbled again as if asking why he was staring at the food and not eating it.

"You heard right," He said at her comment about not taking care of himself, plucking the envelope from her grip with his free hand and, after stubbing out his cigarette in a slightly overflowing ashtray situated on his desk, taking a bite of the rice ball in his other. It was an odd flavoring, he didn't exactly eat a lot of Japanese food in Paris, but it filled his stomach and wasn't entirely unpleasant. Actually, it was pretty good, although that might just have been his empty stomach talking. The onigiri was gone in less than a moment as he sucked an excess grain of rice from his thumb.

"I think we're going to get along quite well, Bordeaux," He commented with a lop-sided smile, like she'd just passed a secret test. Which, in reality, she kind of had in that in the three minutes she'd been around him she'd proven to be a better partner then all of the past occupants of the job combined.

"Your desk is over there," He said, gesturing towards the empty side of the room, kept neat and clean in a dramatic contrast to his own side filled to the brim with trash and mostly paperwork. He was about to settle down again when his stomach let out another loud grumble. He sighed, rubbing his eyes tiredly. The onigiri may have been filling, but he was practically running on empty. When had he last eaten? Yesterday morning? The night before that? He couldn't remember, but his body was insisting that he eat something else, the rice ball only having served the purpose of whetting his appetite.

"You know what? Let's go out. We can walk and talk," He said suddenly, grabbing his suit coat off of the back of his chair and running a hand through his always messy hair. "I need a change of scenery..." He glanced at the empty styrofoam coffee cups and made a face, "And some real coffee."

Which he probably did. Well, the change of scenery at least. After been locked away in his office for hours on end, brooding over the failure from the night before and the taunting calling card with the emoji cat, there was little else to be done in his dark office. He shrugged his jacket on, slipping a carton of cigarettes and his lighter into his pocket as he meandered towards his door before turning his head to Eclair.

"You coming?"

Eclair smiled a little more. He didn't seem as bad as her boss described. It was exaggerated as usual. "If I had to put it in words...he really is like a teddy bear." The girl's mind was wandering again while her partner ate the onigiri. When he had finished he assured her she was right again., as well as said they would get along. "That's my specialty." She returned the grin.

As he gestured to her desk, Eclair wondered if she was his first partner. The desk was too neat and covered in a layer of dust. As she was about o comment his stomach once again growled. "You know in honor of own new partnership, I'm going to cook you a proper dinner tonight." She said with an awkward scratch to the back of her head again. Onigiri she made were usually filling, but if this guy was still hungry something was up. In her little moment again she hardly noticed him getting ready to leave.

Eclair nodded when he asked about going with him somewhere. Her eyes sparkled and she went along ahead holding the door open for him to get through. "A suggestion is this rumored cafe called the Black Cat Cafe. Odd how their name is so close to the culprits."

Leo whistled.
"Mhmm." He looked up from his cooking to the now four students from the night before. "Milley Hayes, Chie Ansel, Minato, and Akito. " Leo whistled. "Can't expect less from you eh Rap-" "Table 13 Leo. Chop Chop." He jumped. "gotcha~" Taking the plate, he smoothly served it and gave his charming smile. "Enjoy" But he didnt make a detour and quickly left, following Rapheal. Though he wasnt fast enough as their fans began to swarm, making a large gap between the two. "Leo, please go entertain your little fan club as well."

"Already doing so~" He winked at a few of them, sniping them down at the very spot. 'I could be a sniper' He thought amusingly, and began to give little chit chats with the girls who called and beckoned for his attention. "Leo-Sama~"

"Raphael, where's Arashi and Donatello?" A girl demanded. The painter gave a slow smile. "Apparently not here yet cherrie, please be patient." He pulled a pink rose from the multitude of flowers behind him that he cultivated for such a occasions and handed it to the girl. "Please accept this as an apology for my colleagues' tardiness." Leo laughed slightly [At Rapheals surprising charm], the husky sound causing the squeals to go up and above. Easy to break a few ear drums. But they were used to it.

"Where are those two idiots."

Leo blinked at the sound of familar steps and felt the corner of his lips pull. "Oh why speak of the devil" He turned. "Donatello."

"I am truly sorry for being late." A group of girls ran up to him, Donatello smiled and said sorry to each of him. "Excuse me, I have to get to work now."

Donatello bowed slightly and walked into the kitchen, he started to wash his hands. "I'm sorry for being late, I might have lost track of time."

He waved his hand in dismiss. "Its fine~" 'Not sure if its okay with Rapheal though ^^;'
Not saying that aloud, or rapheal might actually hurt him, he watched the two work. Seems like all three of them knew of the.. He glanced at the students- Familar faces.

They both didnt seem to like it, however Leo had some other thoughts.. They'll have a meeting once the last one arrives.

[OOC: Okay after we get the last male, or if he returns, Im planning to have leo to call a quick meeting in the kitchen or something along the line. But if the last male cant be recruited soon, i might just hold the meeting]

Millie Hayes

The cafe was, as expected, busy. It seemed the vast majority of customers were girls who were fawning over the waiters. Millie, as she caught sight of one of the waiters, had another wave of recognition. She was almost certain that she had never met any of the waiters before but...

She shook her head as she and her friends looked around for a table. Millie eventually spotted one recently vacated table and walked over to nab it before someone else could. She pulled a free seat across from another table, smiling her thanks at the occupants as she did, before she took a seat.

She glanced around the cafe, interested in the decor. She had never been here before but she could immediately see that she would like the place. Apart from the groups of girls that were worshiping the waiters the whole place had a very nice vibe to it. Millie had to admit that the leagues of fans were getting on her nerves already. She hoped it wouldn't effect the waiters taking their orders. Her stomach gave another rumble and she eagerly looked at the menu, skimming through the list of food until she found something that caught her attention.

Millie turned back to her friends and continued the conversation from outside,
"So, one to forget about it. What do you guys think?" Millie asked nodding at Minato as he was the one who had already given his opinion on the robbery.Millie wanted her friends' opinions. The robbery and following police questioning had been irritating last night and Millie, tired and not in the best of moods, had not been very cooperative. But now, as she thought of it, she hoped she hadn't too rude. They were the police after all. And what would happen to them if the thieves decided they didn't need witnesses around? Millie bit her lip, hoping that her friends' opinions would help to ease her worries.

Almost immediately after they exited the building, Theodore wasted no time in pulling out another cigarette, lighting it with an easy familiarity. The streets of Paris paid no mind to the Detective and his new partner, carrying on as if nothing of great importance had happened the night before. Even the crime spree that had captivated the entire nation was only a drop of water in the ocean that was Parisian life. Oh, there were people discussing the Black Cat crimes together, but like idle gossip as people finished their daily shopping.

Which, in a way, was a good thing, Theodore thought as he puffed out a ring of smoke. The damn criminals didn't need anymore attention then they were already getting. Eclair and Theodore were lucky as they walked away from the police station; the media was still swarming at the University, eager to see the scene of the crime. Maybe a little later in the day they'd have to use the back entrance in an effort to avoid pesky reporters barking out questions, demanding answers they didn't have, and pushing cameras in their faces. He grimaced at the thought.

"A suggestion is this rumored cafe called the Black Cat Cafe. Odd how their name is so close to the culprits."

He paused for a moment, giving the young woman walking next to him a cursory glance before turning his gaze back to the crowds around them, making his way past business men on their lunch breaks and teenagers reveling in not being at school with the ease of a true city-dweller.

"That doesn't sound half bad," He admitted, having to speak up just a little bit to be heard over the noise filling the city's streets. Horns blaring, the chattering of a thousand people, and all of the sounds of people going about their daily business mixing together into an orchestra of pure noise. "Maybe it is the name, but I've been going there a lot since the case started. You know, I think it's really more for teen girls and bored housewives," He snorted in mild amusement, "And I'm usually the only guy there, but they've got some great stuff on the menu. Especially coffee." Coffee. He could use some more coffee right now. As invigorating as actually moving after hunching over his desk for God knows how many hours was, he could already feel the effects of caffeine fading from his system, the false high dissipating as soon as it had appeared. Really, it had been the only thing fending off the sleepiness that threatened to take over during the night, but he couldn't sleep. Wouldn't. There were things to be done and art thieves to be caught.
