Emilia is complicated, like every other person. She has many different sides to her. Her most common side is the one that everyone sees. She keeps her cool and handles even the rudest people in the nicest way. Always polite to everyone she meets, smiling and just being genuinely nice. "Treat people the way you want to be treated." Her mom always told her that growing up. To expect people to be nice and have a world where people reach their full potential, you have to give them what you expect. If you don't really know her or she barely knows you but your acquainted, introduced through friends or family without an in depth conversation, then this is really what you'll see. It takes a lot to make her be rude back to you. You have to be cruel to another person, causing pain and hurt. You would have to be someone who literally steals candy from a baby.
Her second side which is a little deeper is the one that is shown to someone she finds interesting, someone she wants to know. More then acquaintanceship, you've gotten to that in depth conversation where you share you views on education relationships, religion, politics, etc. Maybe even some personal information. She won't sit there and tell you her detailed life story but she will give you the basics. She'll give you her genuine laugh, not the one she uses just to be nice. She will disagree with you, not to the point where you fight or one of you get upset but to just let you know that she is her own person and has her own opinions that may or may not change by hearing yours. At this stage you're consider a friend. Someone she'll be honest with and expects the same back. There is trust and respect there. She appreciates your personality and what you give her.
This is a side not many people get to see because not everyone has her full trust. She doesn't let everyone know everything about her, just these people, her close friends. You are right up there with family and live long friends and boyfriends. You know everything, if not, very close to. You know her past, her dreams, her ambitions, what she holds dear, her fears, almost, if not, everything. You know that she bites her lip when she lies. That she will not look you in the eye if she is hiding something, upset or feels she disappointed you in anyway. You know that she likes to escape to another place when she is stressed and feels life is getting to be too much. You know that she can be very adventurous and spontaneous. That she will never let things get boring and that she always has something to say, something new to tell you, even if it's some fact she read in the dustiest book in the library. All things she holds dear.
Brief Description
Emilia is 5'6 and 120 lbs. She has a small but curvy figure with beige skin that isn't pale but has no signs of a tan and a big white genuine smile. Her eyes are a golden shade with some dark flecks inside. Her face gets puffy when she cries and her nose gets super red. If she finds you interesting then she can't stop looking at you and she loves to see people's expressions through their eyes. "Eyes are the window to the soul darling, and don't ever let someone with a bad soul trick you that their good. This is how you can tell a person from a monster." Something her father said to her once that she still holds true and dear.
Skill(s)/Abilities
Drawing characters that are lifelike and have a specific personality with old souls and places that are so vivid and ancient but she's never been there before, writing stories that feel more like memories, dancing contemporary or very old classic ballroom, and sleeping through anything.
Likes
Stories- because it's how we learn, how we pass things on and how we get to know one another.
Art- because she can make something beautiful with just a paper and pencil. Something so dear and lifelike to her.
Nature- because it's peaceful and beautiful and she feels a connection with the world around her, like an old friend she once knew, forgotten and gotten to know all over again but in a different light
Motorcycles- the adrenaline rush, it's explainable but everyone has one weird thing about them, or more.
Eyes- they're unique and tell so much about a person. In poker everyone has a tell but in like it's your eyes.
Slow music- it's just calming.
Dislikes
disloyalty- the idea of betrayal from someone you trust so much is so sad and hurtful
public affection- something special should be private and between the two. a small kiss is okay but making out...
typing not writing- it's so impersonal and the ink just looks so ancient and adds character
being pinned down- she doesn't like feeling like there's nothing she can do, no way to help herself
complete darkness- .
Fears
Complete darkness-she doesn't like not being able to see what's out there.
Drowning- it seems like such a horrible way to die.
Being impaired(deaf, blind)- because she relies on her senses and it scares her to think how much she'd miss
Having someone die in her arms- because she has this odd feeling like something terrible like that happened once even though it didn't but she wouldn't want to have someone she cares about in her arms and there was nothing she could do
Loosing someone she loves- obvious, heartbreak, not having them there
Not being able to say goodbye- her parents went missing and she never got to say goodbye

To know why she feels incomplete. Why she feels like something is missing deep within her.
History
Emilia Day was born on February 1st, 1999 (original birthday same but 1888), to a family that consisted of Sabbean Day and Florence Day and her older sister, Olivia. Growing up she was a complete daddy's girl. He was a historian so she took her passion to please and read every volume in his library, and even found a few things he didn't know. Her love of knowledge grew from just History to Worldy Matters and Religon and animasl and politics and....she basically knew a little something about most things. She loved her mom also. They were always baking, or gardening, or sight seeing, or just going for a walk. Olivia was another thing. They always had each others back and told each other everything, from grades they didn't want their parents to know to first kisses and first drinks. Her parents disappeared the January before she turned 19. Right after she moved out to go to University to become a Teacher. Her heart was broken but she knew her parents, that they would want her to keep going, to miss them but not let it destroy her. She always believes they will come back. She met Marcus the summer after they disappeared and he just understood her, really helped her. They connected so instantly and so strongly that they have been together since. But lately something seems off, missing.
