He has an even stubble now, making him appear even more of a man and oldie on camp. He is firmly sculptured from head to toe but can bury it in looser, generally darker clothing if not in his tank shirts and working in his warehouse, which he often is. As such, his body can often harvest beads of sweat and ash.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
xxxxxxxxxxxxx Calculating xx Brave xx Practical xx Guiding x

Duke is a stern individual. He often anticipates and calculates people and their motives and how dangerous they can be to the camp. It can make him seem overbearing at times but better that than any hostile surprises. He only has the best interest at heart. Beyond all the brooding, and the work-orientated man, he's a decent guy and doesn't have a rude comment to mutter. Brutally honest more likely, but not deliberately harmful.

[Another para para paragraph about loyalty and bravery.]

While Duke is happy to possess such intelligence accounting towards his observation skills, ability to calculate and the gift of insight, seeing situations as others may not, the truth is he's still a brawn in a lot of ways. Not just in figure and physical strength but in beliefs. Duke has little to no tolerance when it comes to whingers. As a man that's down to earth and highly action-based, he cannot see why others don't change something they don't like when there is always something people can do about it. This can often be expressed in a thick layer of sarcasm, bluntness or outright blind siding them. But if someone were to endure his snark and ask for help, they would certainly receive it.

Most of him operates by never surrendering, never backing down, taking action, and being productive. Duke himself is always aiming to better himself by training physically and testing the limits of what he can create. Without effort or risk, there can be no progress.

H I S T O R Y

Duke's mother died when he was very young. She was accused of witchcraft and eloping with one that could control fire and heat and seemed to be generations ahead with his inventions. Which was just as big as a crime to the skiddish people of the town. But she knew this barbaric witchhunt was after her and would pursue Duke too because they feared something they could not understand. So she passed him to the care of her sister.

With his aunt, Duke had to become the man of the house at a young age, and it wasn't just something he felt he had to do but something he was relied on and expected to do. His aunt worked as an exotic dancer to keep a steady income and fell pregnant with twins to a deadbeat father. Then, she fell into the influence of drugs because of stress or a lack of worth. Her addiction and income kept them barely afloat and some days she'd bring men over. Whether that was for bonus income or something else to relieve and forget the stress, he didn't know and he didn't want to know. Duke had to promote himself to bodyguard, carer to his cousins and financial keeper. The duties of a man were something he had to quickly take up.

He had high moral of discipline and respect to his single, busy aunt so followed any order she gave like an obedient dog. Camille needed what help she could get. Besides, she was always a little jumpy and worried outside her job, and as time grew, feared Duke's judgement. But he never did judge her, only hated that she had to return to her job where there was constant risk of low-lives and fanatics creeping on her with hungry eyes and touches. All the peace and discipline of a good solider went out the window when she returned with bruises and cuts and a tremor one night. He begged and pleaded for her to tell him who did it to her, but she didn't supply that information. Not because she couldn't confide in him but because she knew his true heritage and didn't want him being exposed.

Her little plan fell apart relatively quickly when Duke did some digging and found the assaulter. In the moment, Duke couldn't help himself and did give him a burn which led to a new commotion of witches still existing.

Daughter of Zeus || Hex: #d63b71

"I'm Wesley Preston... Not that that matters," Alex never liked him doing that to himself, talking like he didn't matter. He did matter, and he was just as important to the Camp as anyone else. "Alex is my best friend. She is a good and kind person, who would sooner fall on her blade for someone else rather than be the one to take a life. There is no way that she did this without being under the influence of someone else. I would stake my life on her innocence." He looked towards her, giving her a slight smile which she returned. "She's not a murderer." Alex looked to the Gods that stood in the room. She tried to see if she could make out their reactions to Wes's words, but none of them even flickered any clue of emotion. Still, Wes had done his best to voice his thoughts about her, to try and show the rest of the room that she really wasn't a monster.

Duke came second. "I'm Duke Loycen, son of Hephaestus. I've known Alex for a couple of years, enough to say I know her well. Commonly, there's signs of a killer being born or a sociopath and she displayed and even now displays none of that. She's not a murderer or a monster. I know that hurting Jennova weighs on her conscience, so I don't think it was deliberate and I don't think it was premeditated. Killing isn't in her or her instinct. Something must have pushed her, whether circumstances or a person." He sat back down, and with his eyes on her, Alex smiled. She felt proud of both, him, and Wes. Both of them had stood up before everyone and not cared about what others might think of them for taking a 'murderers' side.

It was a good start, but Andy soon leveled everything with her speech. Of course, she would take Mason's side, but had they forgotten that Hades also tried to kill Ajax before Andy placed herself in harms way instead? It should have been Hades standing trial. Not Alex, who took in a deep breath to ready herself to hear what Andy now had to say. "I was the first person at the scene... I thought it might be beneficial to recount what I witnessed. I remember it started to rain... blood. There was no visibility, like walking through a blizzard. I somehow wondered my way to Jennova's cabin where I found her... them. Alex stood on the porch to Jennova's cabin. And Jennova... She was on the ground, decapitated. I then went and got Ajax. When I returned... I buried her. Jennova was unarmed. It looked like a murder... in cold blood." Alex remembered it now her memories were back in full swing, which is the reason why she lost most of her sanity. All of the memories hitting her like a sledgehammer to the gut with no intervals to catch her breath. Still, even if the memories had formed slowly over time, it still wouldn't have made a difference. She still felt guilt and disgust for taking another's life.

She could still picture the way it happened, blood, Jennova's blood, dripping from the blade of her sword. If she was murderous, then she would have killed Andy for bearing witness to a murder that Alex did not commit alone. "Trust you to take lover-boy's side." Ajax said, glaring at Andy without turning his head completely.

"Son.. be silent." Zeus warned, which caused Ajax to clench his jaw as he now kept silent and waited for an opportunity to make his own speech.

“Look- Trinity Wallace, Daughter of Ares. I don't know much about the actual events except word of mouth. Mason, Theo and myself were absent on a mission. I know Alex killed Jennova, but that doesn't make her a murderer. She doesn't have murderous tendencies, trust me I know. If anything, after she killed Jennova, was when she became a little unhinged. But I'm a strong believer of an eye for an eye, and I'm not sure who started it. So either payback is due and she should face some form of punishment in the eyes of the Gods, or Alex ended the cycle with Jennova.”

Alex wouldn't blame her if she decided to take Mason's side, or anyone for standing up for those they cared for since those who cared about Alex were only doing the same. However, Trinity's words had actually surprised her. She was smart to not go by hear-say. Trinity had placed herself in the neutral zone, so to speak. She hadn't been there, so to blame Alex outright without bearing witness, would have been crazy.

The newest campers seemed to be talking quietly among themselves, probably to try and guess if Alex was actually guilty of the crimes she had been committed with.

Many years ago, there was one God which had gone against the laws of their cosmos. He had slaughtered so many mortals, all because they chose to no longer worship him. This angered Zeus. This particular God was not placed on trial, for his actions were evidence that he had done it deliberately, and showed no remorse for his actions. Zeus destroyed him where he stood, and he was never mentioned in Mount Olympus again. Though he swore, that if anyone broke the laws again... he'd make them stand trial. That murderous god, the rotten apple of their roots had once been Zeus's friend. He couldn't allow that fate for his child, especially when part of her still remained.

Image The trial didn't seem too bad, but as soon as Hades stood to speak, Alex imagined she could feel the earth beneath her beginning to slowly open up to swallow her. Her soul would be damned to the firery depths of Tartarus, where Hades would never allow her to see the light again, or her mother who was hopefully at peace in the fields of Elysium, which is Persephone's domain - gifted my Hades himself. The snake opened his mouth and began to poison the ears of those who chose to listen. "I will remind those present that this trial isn't about intentions and an individual's belief, but the actions of the Daughter of Zeus. We all know what that was, and as a result, I have no daughter anymore. And he, without a sister. In robbing this one life, you have robbed others and you have forbidden growth. Jennova was a girl. Around the same age as the children present, no more powerful, no wiser. She attended this Camp because she wanted to better herself, like many demigods. Even I thought it would be a sanctuary, but it appears it is where the vile are permitted to roam." Alex remained silent, tears falling down her cheeks as Hades's words cut into the most. She thought that was the end until Mason added his own words. All of it made her feel even worse.

She could no longer look at anyone. Her gaze remained focused on the sand floor of the arena, wishing it would really open up and swallow her this time. Her heart felt like it was crushing along with her lungs. She held her hand over her chest, steadying her racing heart, and struggled breath.

Her brother was the last to stand. "Ajax Valis. Son of Zeus." he still didn't like saying that, still held a grudge against his father like an immature child, but this time... he finally decided to let it go. "You all forget, that it was Alex who did her best to keep everyone safe last year. She held the biggest threat back with me and our father, placing her own life at risk for everyone else to stand a chance. She held them back so the others could take out the lesser threats. Alex has been nothing but kind, and for a sudden change of personality, surely people should know that isn't right. No one can suddenly change overnight, especially when she's been such a lovely person her entire life. She was a rebel during her teen years before attending Camp Athens, but that doesn't mean she is a murderer. We all have a past.. every single one of us. Does that determine who we are, and who we choose to be now?" he sat down, fists clenched. He didn't want to take it any further, scared that he might say something he'd later regret. Her brother's words were honest, but it didn't seem to be enough. Even with Duke and Wes on her side, it just didn't seem to do her justice.

Image This was it. As Ares stepped down from the podium, Alex squeezed her eyes shut tightly, begging beneath her breath, sobbing as she readied herself for the fateful blow... but it didn't come.

She opened her eyes and looked up. Ares had taken hold of her arm instead, and lead her over to the luminescent liquid that filled the large basin. Were they going to drown her in that thing? without a word, he let her go and held out his hand, signaling for her to step into it. So she did.

***

Image She stood there, looking down into the basin as silence fell on the room. All eyes remained on her, and it wasn't long before the room also grew dark with only the Pensieve's light to be seen.

Memories began to form. They spiraled up before her which gave the others the insight of what exactly Alex was seeing. It formed clear images of the past, followed by whispers until they turned into voices, voices that echoed clearly around the room. Zeus swallowed as he recalled Susanna's voice.

"Alex!" she rushed over, both of her arms held open wide to embrace her child. With her cheek pressed against her mother's shoulder, Alex closed her eyes as her own arms wrapped around her mother's slender frame. Already, she hated this. The warmth of her mother's love was never forgotten. Not even the scent of her perfume that had been embedded in her skin and clothes. It had been a Greek flower - An Iris - one of her father's chosen favorites from Aphrodite's garden. "I take it the camp allowed you to finish and come home for the holidays?"

"Yes."

Susanna frowned. "What's wrong? are you not excited to be home? you and your brother get to spend time with me until you have to go back. We can plan something together. What do you think? Alex?"

She felt her hand squeeze around the handle of the blade she had suddenly picked up, and before her mother could even get the chance to leave, Alex began to plunge the knife repeatedly into her mother's stomach as she remained emotionless, even while her mother screamed in pain.

Susanna fell to the floor, bleeding to death as she begged for help, but Alex just stood there. She watched as her mother reached out toward her, her bloody fingers gripping at the bottom of her trousers. "Please..." she begged again, right before Alex finished it and exited the kitchen, leaving her mother's lifeless body in a pool of blood.

Image Part of her that remained in the present, stepped back and screamed out. She couldn't believe she was seeing her mother dead like that for the first time. That memory had kept itself from her... until now. "No!!" she wailed. Athena quickly moved to her side to support her.

"It's okay.. keep going." she whispered into her ear. "Dig a little deeper." but Alex didn't want to.

"No, stop! please... let me take a break. Please." she begged. Athena looked up at Zeus. He nodded once to give her the all-clear, so Athena gently leads Alex out of the memories.

Sloane watched as the proceedings of the trial began to get underway. She half paid attention, but another part of her didn't see the significance in her being there. Perhaps a third party point of view was needed? Some neutral view like Switzerland that wouldn't be bias to the Valises holier than thou aura or the dark pull of the son of Hades. But in her mind, she couldn't care less of the outcome. It seemed no matter how many unbiased parties were present, the verdict would still be decided upon with a swayed heart.

Movement out of the corner of her eye brought Sloane out of her own head. She slowly looked over in time to see Pete making his way straight toward her, even taking a seat beside her. "Well," she said to him without looking away from the trial as she crossed her right leg over her left. "You aren't very smart, are you?" A rhetorical question asked quietly, so only he could hear, in regards to her previous comment in their earlier conversation.

Her right foot gently bounced as she continued to watch as, one after another, people spoke up in favor or against. When Trinity spoke up, Sloane noticed Pete shift beside her finally deciding to speak to her. “Reckon she did it?” he asked quietly, showing some respect for the proceedings at hand.

Sloane slowly leaned back in her seat, she was about to give her own opinion when Andy spoke up. The words the nervous girl said got her undivided attention. That perspective definitely seemed to change her view on many things. Up until that point everyone spoke on feelings and emotions, rather unimportant things when it comes to facts and witness accounts. But this... this was real evidence, or something to actually go off to say the least.

She waited through the rest of the pomp and circumstance, even through Alex's memories being put on display for the rest of them. Then finally it seemed the girl couldn't handle much more and a recess had been called. With that Sloane let herself relax back into her seat and looked over at Pete. "Well I agree with Liv, that evidence is needed to some extent. But from where I'm sitting, the question isn't whether or not Alex killed this Jennova, but if the intentions were her own."

Sloane raised a brow slightly. "Your thoughts?"

Wes sat back down. He had no idea if what he said was going to be helpful or not. The court in Olympus seemed different than what he was used to seeing when he saw his father work back home. His fingers mindlessly ran across the surface of his new arm as he watched Duke move to his feet. Something must have pushed her, whether circumstances or a person."

“Look.” Wes's heart nearly skipped a beat when he heard her speak. He slowly spun around in his seat, looking toward Trinity as she addressed the crowd. “- Trinity Wallace, Daughter of Ares.

Her words were true, not that he necessarily agreed with her perspective but he couldn't deny some of what she said. The truth of the matter was... Well no one knew the truth and how could they? Either way, he knew Alex was not a murderer, and if she took Jennova's life with her own hands then it wasn't on her decision, something else was at play. He could only hope that this trial got to the bottom of it.

It then seemed that the opinions went from positive to negative as Andy stood up and spoke of her account with finding the crime. Wes never thought to ask her what she witnessed and it seemed that her honesty opened the flood gates for the more negative opinions, in particular Mason's. He shifted in his seat as he spoke his peace that he was entitled to. Wes felt sorry for him, for losing a sister. He had no idea what that felt like, similar to the argument he made when he addressed everyone. But he also felt that clouded Mason's judgement. If the son of Hades had a say in anything, Alex would be long dead as fair payment.

Wes sat upright in his seat, watching as Alex was guided to a pool of water. He winced and looked away as the memory showed Alex stabbing her own mother. When she begged to end it, to take a break, Wes nearly stood up and pleaded with her for them to give her a break. But thankfully, they finally listened to her cries and allowed for a break. He sighed, slouching back into his seat, raising his hand to pinch the bridge of his nose. He hated all of this. It wasn't like watching the numerous court hearings his father worked at, this time he had a stake in it... this time the life of his closest friend was on the line and it took everything in him to not speak out of turn or yell at someone who called her a murderer.

“God, Look at you both. Standing there so self-serious. You make something that is supposed to fun, tedious and boring. Speaking with big words and double meanings rather than actually doing anything.” Eve went defensive, like a caged animal, brushing everything off as good humor or what have you. It was to be expected from someone who could wrap most people around her finger. It was almost like a silent reminder to not let himself get that way. But unlike this impulsive woman before him, Sylas never did anything without a plan, and even then, he always had back ups for his back ups. After all, it couldn't hurt to be prepared.

“We're sorry you feel that way,” Evelyn responded.

Sylas couldn't help but smirk at the comments. "I can speak plainly for you, if you'd prefer. But I doubt you'd like it. Might upset your delicate nature."

“And you," Evangeline added looking toward him. Sylas even faked surprise, pointing to himself like she could have been referring to someone else in the surrounding area. "You fancy yourself a little mastermind of some imaginary game you’re playing?” She smirked and leaned in to whisper to him, although his present company could no doubt hear it as well. “I prefer playing games in the real world.”

"I'm not the one with one foot in the grave, love," Sylas replied. This time there was no smirk or hint of witty banter that crossed his face. Instead his expression was serious, perhaps even frightening. This child had no idea what she was playing at nor the stakes. Sylas did not care for the games she was playing at nor the outcome it meant for her. But he refused to let her sloppiness drag him down with her. "You're making enemies quick, and not the good ones. If you keep at it like a child, then it'll only be a matter of time before we're here for the trial of your murder."

The blonde strode away like she didn't have a care in the world, but Sylas wasn't an amateur. Every word shared between himself and Evelyn dug under her skin. He didn't care if she wished to play the game along side him, he liked competition. But she was sloppy and lacked tact. Her actions were gathering speed and soon enough the downward spiral would take anyone close along with it. If one person at the camp was discovered to be manipulating the others, who's to say that wouldn't also implicate himself or Sloane. His job was chaos, after all. And he couldn't do that from behind bars or in the grave. Silly child.

“You try to help a girl and she thinks you're playing 'riddle me this'. If I didn't know better, I'd say you upset her.”

"She could have said please and I would have enlightened her," he mused.

Sylas walked alongside Evelyn toward the arena, watching the other campers congregate together. Those of like minds huddled together hoping to build strength off one another. They took their seats among the crowd, not particular with a group or saddled up to anyone but among them. He couldn't very well hear everything nor learn anything from a distance, unlike his sister who seemed complacent to be as far removed as possible.

Evelyn found her spot beside him, and Sylas couldn't help but notice her staring. She wasn't subtle. He looked over at her from the corner of his eyes, a slight smirk working its way at the corner of his lip, waiting for her to speak whatever was on her mind. “You have much explaining to do.”

He let out a chuckle and a slight nod. "As you wish."

Then everything began. Sylas had to hide his excitement or intrigue at the unfolding of events. But it wasn't what interested most people that got his attention. The endless chatter for Alex was mind-numbingly boring. In his mind, she had already made her bed and now it was time to lie in it. Just from his brief encounter with the girl she was unhinged. And what was wrong with that? If she wants to be a murderer so be it. But falsifying this sense of a good person under the manipulation of another was tiring. He felt it in her, her darkness. Anyone else who claimed not to see it was just fooling themselves.

Instead he focused on the second meanings behind words, and whispered comments for only friends' ears. A comment from the daughter of Ares about the unjustness of attacking an unarmed person. Mason's own words in regards to a dead son of Hecate... Another topic of interest he'd make note to talk about later. Or better yet, the comment from Mr. Camp himself, shit talking his own girlfriend. Sylas had to refrain from smiling at that nugget of knowledge. What could the daughter of Hecate have down to stir such outright disgust from him... In front of everyone? Sylas hadn't even laid the ground work for that part of the plan he promised Mason, but it had seemed as though things didn't need his help. Not that it meant he wouldn't nudge it along.

Sylas's attention did turn back to the proceedings at hand when the daughter of Zeus was lead to a basin of water, her memories laid bare for all of them to see. He watched as she plunged a blade into her own mother. Then the hysterics began, similar to what he saw earlier in the day when he only gave her a small nudge. Gods she was a ticking time bomb. Part of him wanted her to be spared just so he could push her over the edge at a later date and see the chaos she could cause when her madness overflows. But, if anything she seemed like a rabid animal in need of putting down. Either way, innocent or guilty, camp would not survive the verdict. They were all tip toeing on the edge of a civil war. It was only a matter of time.

“Entertained so far?” Evelyn asked as she looked back over at him.

"Immensely," Sylas replied with a single word. Oh, he could go on and share the things he was learning. But he liked leaving a bit of mystery, and enjoyed even more watching her try to figure him out. It was all in the thrill of the chase.

“Also, I am terribly curious to see what you think of my matchmaking skills.” Evelyn motioned toward Eve who was preying on some other unfortunate idiot. “But I'm most curious to know why you interfered with Eve. That hand intercept of yours could almost be seen as a preserving move. Now, a man's intentions can remain his own, but if you don't tell me I'll just assume you have a secret soft spot for me.”

"I can see why you came to your conclusion," Sylas answered as he looked in Eve's direction. "But she isn't quite my type. I like my women mature, calculating... unpredictable." He smirked slightly as he looked back to his present company. "Qualities she does not possess."

Sylas than ran the tips of his middle and index fingers across his bottom lip as he contemplated her second question. "Hmmm," he hummed as he looked Evelyn over. "Perhaps I don't like the idea of someone else playing with my toys. Maybe I'm selfish?" He quirked his head to the side. "Or I worry that her sloppiness could back fire onto me and I don't want to be in the line of fire for her impulsive and tactless nature?" Sylas then leaned in toward her slightly, lowering his voice to a whisper while holding her gaze. "Or maybe, I do have a soft spot for you."

He slowly leaned away from her, sitting back upright as he looked around toward the other campers, gauging their reactions to the events of the trial. "You wouldn't like being her puppet," he added with a sideways glance toward the red head. "She wouldn't be as fun as I am."

"Trust you to take lover-boy's side," Ajax said glaring straight at Andy.

She wanted to get up and just leave. She spoke her peace, only spoke truth to what she witnessed. That was it. Andy had no further obligations to anyone in the arena. Maybe she could just get up and walk out. Get back to Olympus before the others and shut herself in her cabin. If they weren't surrounded by their parents, the Gods or the other campers Andy would have defended herself... Maybe slapped Ajax too. Gods knew she was tired of this back and forth, pick a side bullshit between Mason and Ajax. She was done.

Then she heard Mason's voice as he addressed the crowd, saying things she had heard from him numerous times before. Things that Andy couldn't deny she partly agreed with. She could hear the sadness in his voice, she didn't have to see him to know that tears were filling his eyes. Her jaw clenched as she fought the urge to look at him. She sat there silent, clenching her hands together making her knuckles white as he spoke.

"...I wish I was a son of Hecate for a day." The words instantly made her spin around where she sat to look at him. What was he doing? "So I could show you all what it's like to come back to camp and hear your sibling is dead, the one time you left them unprotected. So you could see their heads disconnected from their bodies... But even the son of Hecate's dead because the children of Zeus only care about themselves and their emotions."

Andy sunk into her seat at his words, slowly turning forward as she stared blankly ahead. Why did Mason have to bring him up now? She couldn't remember much of the battle. All of it was a blur aside from Daniel... Watching him fall to the ground, trying to save him and sending him away with her mother who let him die. She didn't want to think about it. For so long she's been suppressing the memories, keeping them at bay... But even here it seems that they were destined to resurface. Was this over yet?

And then it was Ajax's turn to speak, of course he would. Andy didn't dare look at him, she didn't know if she could handle his judgemental gaze. "Ajax Valis. Son of Zeus. You all forget, that it was Alex who did her best to keep everyone safe last year. Does that determine who we are, and who we choose to be now?"

Wrong. Someone can change overnight. Andy has changed, maybe not over night but she is not the same person she once was. With enough motivation a person can go from a saint to a murderer in the blink of an eye. The death of her mother would have been enough to send Alex over the edge. She has never seemed the most stable in Andy's eyes. Maybe that was her own dislike of Alex, but in her own opinion, the girl makes bad choices and it only seemed to drag Ajax down with her. Andy couldn't remember the last time Alex did anything for the camp that was selfless that deserved this blind loyalty Ajax sought from them.

Andy wanted to pull her eyes away from the scene of Alex's memories being played before them, but she couldn't. So she not only killed Jennova but her mother as well? What did this have to do with Jennova's death? Wasn't that what this trial was for? Her mind raced with questions and few answers. Alex couldn't seem to handle the replaying of her memories so the Gods allowed for a brief break. And in that break Liv spoke up. A voice Andy did not expect to have anything to say. She looked to the girl and listened as she mentioned lack of evidence, comparing emotional stakes to the truth.

But Andy's attention wasn't undivided until she heard her own name. "How do you know that Andy saw what she saw because she did say that there was limited visibility. One can't be convicted guilt of hearsay." Liv then proceeded all but tell the Gods that trial was irrelevant with out circumstantial evidence. She understood that the girl was just trying to give a neutral unbiased opinion but it seemed the more she spoke the more annoyed Andy became.

With a sigh, Andy stood up once again. She didn't want to speak again, but looked as though she had no choice. "I would not have stood up and given a testimony that was going to make half of the people here hate me if it was just hearsay... Or if I wasn't certain of what I witnessed," she said at first speaking toward Liv personally. Andy might have been coming off defensive, but it was the truth. She would not have given some half baked excuse for truth if she wasn't certain. "If the Gods wish to see for themselves, I will gladly walk down to that pool and show you all." She pointed to the water that, just a moment earlier, Alex's own memories were presented for the crowd. "As for evidence, what do you want? Her corpse? I buried her out of respect for the dead and her loved ones. And I won't exhume her body for spectacle."

Her gaze drifted over to Ajax, who, no doubt, was probably staring daggers at her that very minute. Her voice lowered a bit, this time not speaking as much to the crowd, but to him. "I'm over this petty feud bullshit. I'm over it. I'm on 'the side'," she made air quotes with her fingers showing that she used his words. "Of the dead. Of truth and justice. It's not right to be murdered in your home, in a place you're supposed to feel safe. She deserved a heroes death like the rest of us. And if it was to be at Alex's hands, then a fair fight. But it wasn't."

Andy held his gaze in silence. Her face was serious, but also sad and frustrated. "So, if what I saw... My memories, can bring peace for the dead then I'll happily give them," she concluded loud enough for the Gods to all know that they could take what they wish from her. "I am done being a pawn for the two of you to use against one another."

With nothing else to say, Andy didn't return to her seat, instead ascending up the stairs and out of the arena. Once away from the crowd she felt like she was finally able to breath. Her hands grasped at her sides as she paced outside the entrance to the Acropolis. For the first time in... longer than she could remember, Andy felt like some of her burdens were finally off her back. The constant fighting and tug-of-war between Ajax and Mason. The emotional rollercoaster they put her through. The weight of Jennova's death preying at the back of her mind... All washed clean in a matter of minutes. All that remained was the overwhelming guilt of being unable to save her brother and she was left with Keith. Whoever or whatever the hell he was.

Demeter and Iliana sat together just before the trial started. Ethan and Heath sat near them too. Just before the trial started though, someone suddenly appeared and bumped right into Demeter.

“Oh, shoot - I am sorry! Today is just not my day. Well - I don’t know, I guess it’s all from a point of view. In some ways my inattentiveness was a gift.”

"It's no problem dearie. It could have happened to anyone. Is there something I can help you with?" Demeter asked.

Instead of answering her, the dark haired young woman turned to Iliana.

“Hi! You look like Iliana. I’m Apollo’s daughter, and my father wanted me to sit with you during the Trial. I actually meant to catch you before we got to Olympus, but a really cute boy sidetracked me. Has that ever happened to you?”

The girl's enthusiasm really caught Iliana. She never met anyone with overactive energy too. She did know Apollo. He'd been her primary caretaker when she had been taken care of at Olympus after her ordeal. Those memories were foggy though since she had been fighting for her own life. Her kidnapping had been horrendous and during her healing in Olympus, she had been kept under. Even Hypnos got involved when constant nightmares caused her to thrash about in her sleep, delaying the healing process. Not wanting to remember that time though, Iliana continued to listen to Apollo's daughter.

“My name’s Cherise, and I’ve got a spot saved for us. At least, I think I do,”

She saw the girl turn towards a guy with glasses. She honestly didn't know what to do either. She looked at her mother first.

Demeter smiled and replied, "Go on ahead Iliana. I am not leaving.

Iliana turned to Ethan and Heath next and they smiled back too. Cherise seemed like a nice enough person and if Demeter was fine with it, they would be also. Iliana turned back to Cherise and nodded before standing up. Before the two could leave though, Demeter said something.

"Oh Cherise, I don't know how much your father told you about Iliana, but we are trying to keep what happened to her a bit private since it's up to Iliana if she wants to talk about it. Only gods who know about Iliana are Zeus, Athena, your father, Hypnos, Hermes, Hestia, and myself. Also my daughter cannot speak at the moment so she communicates through her notebook. Have fun you two."

Iliana nodded and went ahead and sat with Cherise and the other guy with glasses.

As the trial started and people started speaking up, both Ethan and Heath played close attention. Ethan was reading the emotions behind the words while Heath was looking for possible lies. So far he couldn't detect none. One thing was obvious though, they really weren't making a lot of headway. It was almost like a "He said, she said" situation. Finally a daughter of Poseidon spoke up, basically asking for physical proof. Both Ethan and Heath agreed with her. These words though seemed to set Hecate's daughter off. It was pretty obvious too that she had been through a lot, especially when it was mentioned she lost her own brother. When Andy left, it was Ethan who stood up next since he recalled something Ajax said to him.

"Hi, I am Ethan, Hestia's son. I have a question for Ajax. Didn't you mention something about a bracelet that belonged to Alex and you believed it to be curse and the cause of her actions toward Jennova. Do you still have it? If this bracelet is cursed it could provide some answers and physical proof."

After that he sat back down and then Alex was brought to a pensive. The images scene caused her to fall apart again and this had a major effect on Iliana for her pain was overwhelming. Seeing her daughter in distress, Demeter rushed over to her and wrapped her in her arms, with Ethan not far behind. He started using his serenity inducement on her while Demeter cooed to her softly. In the meantime, Hestia rushed forward to Alex and had Athena give the girl to her.

"Come back to us Alexandria. Remember the good times with your loved ones. Breath, don't let your emotions take you." she told her, using her own Serenity inducement.

Being a goddess, her Serenity Inducement would not only affect Alex, but anyone else in distress, which included Iliana. Soon the blond calmed down. Seeing her daughter was alright, Demeter let her go while Ethan returned to his seat.

Heath was relieved to see his sister okay, but seeing Alex break down reminded him of that time when she almost unleashed her powers. He knew she had been provoked then and was a loose cannon. If she had indeed been mentally unstable when she killed Jennova, it would definitely helped her case. Wanting to find out more about the day of Jennova's murder, Heath stood up.

"My name is Heath and I am Athena's son. I have several questions regarding the day of Jennova's death and well as the actions of both the victim and defendant. Who was the last last one to see Jennova alive? Did she and Alex ever have any prior conflicts? Also, who was the last person to see Alex before the incident? How were both girls acting that day before the incident?" he asked.

Iliana listened to her brother ask questions, but her eyes stayed glue on Alex, feeling so bad for her because she could relate to her pain. Iliana herself was still in a fragile state of mind. If it wasn't for her mother, Ethan, and Heath, she could have easily turned out like Alex.

None of it really surprised Theo. Trinity lashing out so quickly he couldn't stop her wasn't surprising. It's not like there was much he could do to stop Trinity anyway. She was born stronger than he would ever be. As could be expected at a place like Olympus, the fight was over about as soon as it had started. Liv and Trinity exchanged some last venomous words, and then Trinity was taken out of their sight. Theo hung his head. Why did people always have to mess with him? He really just wanted to be there for the people he cared about... especially Trinity. She definitely mattered much more than anyone else at camp. Theo wandered over to the edge of a nearby fountain to sit down and think, observing the comings and goings of his fellow demigods and their parents. It seemed to Theo like everything was going to shit just at the wrong time.

It wasn't long before he heard a set of feet creeping up on his left side. He knew who it was, but he looked anyway. Sure enough, there was his mother, Artemis, standing there with her arms across her chest, mimicking his long face. Theo let his lips curl into a slight smile as he stood up and reached out to pull Artemis into a hug.

"Theo, what mess are you into now?"

It was typical of his mother to cut right to the thick of things. She had always shown concern for Theo, and she wasn't one to beat around the bush.

"Awwww mom, you know me. I just have to get caught up with some girl. I just wish I knew if she was caught up with me or not," Theo laughed it off like it was no big deal. He had always felt a need to make his mother feel like he was okay or happy, even if he wasn't.

Artemis nodded at Theo, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder as she spoke, "We need a hunt together soon. I feel like we haven't spent enough time together lately. As I'm sure you know, things have been very busy here. Speaking of, I must get to the trial. Don't be too long. Proceeding should begin soon."

Theo watched as his mother strode past him, golden gown flowing behind her with grace. The conversation had encapsulated much of their relationship for the past few years. There was much love and care underneath the words, but the communication was lacking. Theo let out a yawn as he reclaimed his seat on the edge of the fountain. He let his mind rest over the next few minutes as gods and demigods alike flooded past him into the trial room. Theo ignored it for the most part, keeping his head down and speaking to no one.

“Theo right?” Theo looked up, even though he recognized the voice. It was the Eve girl, the one who had played a role in causing the fight between Trinity and Wes. What on earth could she want? "Yes, what's it to you?" Theo let disinterest pour into his tone, hoping she would get the hint. The last thing he needed was Trinity mad at him over this random girl too.

“I- I’ve made this great huge mistake.” Theo was kind of caught off guard as Eve's eyes began to water. It took him slightly a back, feeling a sudden need to comfort the girl as she continued to speak, “Trinity, you’re friend? She’s- she’s kind of scary. I’m so scared to approach her, so I was hoping you could pass a message on to her for me?”

"Yeah, I can tell she's not a big fan of yours. I'm not so sure I can..." Theo started to speak but the girl's expression changed suddenly as she cut him off.

“Oh, The trial! I have to tell you everything, come sit with me.”

Eve basically dragged Theo into the trial with him, but for some reason he didn't feel the need to complain, just a rush of desire to comfort her. It confused Theo because he knew that this would piss Trinity off, but he didn't much care.

As they took their seats, Theo scanned the crowd. Trinity was sitting right across from them. This drew a frown from Theo, but maybe she wouldn't see him. Theo wasn't sure is he wanted to say anything at the trial or not. It wasn't like he could say anything different than any of Alex's other friends were saying. Trinity, Duke, Wes, Ajax, Andy... they seemed to have it covered. Theo listened to them, but the trial was honestly boring. He turned to Eve, leaning towards her, "So ummm... what was it you had to tell me?"

“It is too easy to take someone’s will for your own,” Pete said as he turned to Sloane. “Hard to prove though.”

Sloane looked him over slightly, while her fingers twiddled in her lap. He wasn't wrong. It was so easy to persuade people, no matter how much she disliked it. She tried to fight the urge to glance over at Liam, but eventually her gaze found her way to the brute of a man. And it seemed for the brief moment she looked to him, Liam's gaze met her own. She inhaled sharply and nodded her head in agreement to her present company's comment. "It's hard to prove magic. It doesn't leave a finger print."

Then, when Pete was presented with her question he flashed her a half of a smile. “Oh, I don’t give those away, even for a penny.” Sloane remained sitting upright and poised as he leaned forward to deal with some matter with his shoe. “She’s guilty alright. Just depends if they want her dead or not.” Her gaze followed the motioning of his hand toward the present Gods.

Honestly, Sloane didn't much care for the verdict. She ran a hand back through her dark hair as she studied the surrounding Gods and demigods, half wanting it to go one way and half another. Pete's tone showed he was as detached from the proceedings as she felt, although she tried not to be as open about it. Olympus court was nothing like the courts of mortals. There... Alex would be guilty. No contest.

“Though, I’m not the smartest lad.” Sloane smirked as he acknowledged their earlier comment. But then it quickly faded as she watched his attention shift from her to something past her. She slowly turned her head finding the red head that caught his attention. The girl sat with her brother and stared unabashedly toward her. “Despite your best efforts, you’ve drawn attention.” And then Sylas's own gaze found his way back toward her.

Sloane sighed, leaning back in her seat, sparing a side eyed glance toward Pete. "That's unfortunate. I thought I could go through life invisible."

The trial quickly resumed and it seemed as though how easily everything seemed to be turned against the Daughter of Zeus, one memory surfaced from the girl turned the tables entirely. Then as swiftly as the proceedings started up, they ended with the word of Ares gave the final sentence to Hades, banishing him to Tartarus. Nothing was said of Alex, but no doubt she was now innocent. If she weren't in the company of Gods and demigods alike she might have even scoffed at how easily the verdict flipped sides.

"Well... That was convenient," was all Sloane managed to mutter about the conclusion of the trial, speaking only quiet enough for Pete to hear. With a sigh, she pushed off of the seat, moving to her feet. She had no desire to linger around or mingle. "I think I've had enough of Olympus for quite some time," she concluded with a polite nod toward Pete.

Sloane was unsure if Pete would follow her or not. He was free to do as he wished, but she desired to have her feet firmly upon the mortal ground. Being one of the first to leave the Acropolis, she didn't have to snake her way around many others, only slipping past the daughter of Hecate who lingered by the exit. She found the Pegasus where they were left and quickly mounted it. Sloane wanted nothing more to take off and descend back down to earth, but remembering the ratio of campers to creatures, she sighed and decided to wait until someone wished to join her.

Sylas's brow quirked as Evelyn took hold of his collar, begging him to keep his attention on her. “If I had to pick one of the three, I'd say the first,” she said as she released the fabric of his shirt. “You do strike me as someone that doesn't like to share and is very self-orientated. Worrying about another's actions seems beneath you, especially with nothing to tie you and Eve together. As for the last option, as flattering as the thought is, I don't believe we've had enough time together for you to grow such attachment. Yet,” she concluded.

Evelyn definitely was much smarter than she let looked. It was rare for someone to surprise Sylas like she did. Of course, even he himself could not clearly agree or disagree with some of her assumptions, but that didn't mean he didn't enjoy watching her connect the dots to what she assumed was him. He couldn't help but smile as her stifled laugh in regards to his other comment. “I don't think I'd appreciate being anyone's puppet. No matter their fun value. I can imagine it though.”

Sylas hummed at the comment, like he took that as a challenge. But said nothing. He let his gaze drift back to some of the bullshit that could barely be considered a proper trial. More of he said she said, way too many character witnesses and people who have no stake in the matter feeling the need to state their peace when it was uncalled for. Then there was a recess. Surprising. It seemed as though the trial had barely been underway yet they were breaking. At this rate there wouldn't be a verdict for another decade.

“Eve wants gossip to collect information and to pull on a few heartstrings. She wants to be the embodiment of envy and jealousy to women, and desire to men. I'd be a great informant for her, but considering I'm not a male, she'd grow bored and release her spell. Now as your puppet, the bidding you'd have me do could vary.” He chuckled as he leaned back in his seat. “If you're lucky all you might have to do is ask rather than be domineering.”

"I'm not much of the... asking type. But I'll keep that in mind." Sylas turned his attention toward Evelyn, preparing to continue the conversation with more innuendos and presumptuous talking but found her looking toward the back of the arena.

He didn't really bother himself with what might have caught her attention, that was until she spoke. “Do you happen to know who that devilishly handsome man is by your sister?”

Sylas had to fight the urge to snap his head around in his sister's direction. But he knew an action like that wouldn't go unnoticed by Evelyn. He kept his expression unchanging as he slowly turned around and set her eyes on Sloane. He didn't know who expected to be sitting beside her, but definitely not the man he encountered earlier that day. What in the world were Eve and her brother playing at? His brows furrowed as he held Sloane's gaze for the brief moment she looked in their direction.

He smirked as he face forward. Sure, Sylas could have approached his sister... caused a scene. But her knowing that he saw it was torture enough for her, at least for the time being. "That would be the brother to our dear Eve." Sylas then ran his hand back through his hair trying to project the facade of someone unfazed. Sloane knew very well that her magic wouldn't work on the boy, yet she let him sit with her. So, either he was distracting her or she was dumb. And he knew his sister wasn't dumb. But he'd get the truth from her later. "No doubt he must be up to something nefarious, like his sister."

Then, before he knew it, the trial concluded. It was almost out of left field how suddenly Alex's memories brought forth sufficient enough evidence to convict the one God all the others hated. Interesting how they are so quick to incriminate him, yet drag on for ages to do the same for the girl. Prejudice bullshit. If it were a child of any of the other unfavored Gods like Hecate, Hades, Eris... or even Hera, they would have been damned from the moment they stepped upon the soil of Olympus. But no, Alex was a daughter of Zeus. Un-fucking-touchable. Sylas couldn't quite hide his disgust at the way things unfolded. Not nearly as entertaining as he'd had hoped.

With a sigh, he pushed off his knees and stood. "Well I do think that our conversation was the highlight of this trip. Because this trial was rather disappointing." Sylas looked over to Mason. He wouldn't be half surprised if he saw him leap over the side of the arena and attack Alex right there. Would he help the son of Hades? Who knew. But the trial was bullshit. He could only imagine how fuming Mason would be as the little mouse who couldn't speak tried to communicate with him... Probably trying to be sympathetic. Why was it whenever someone tried to give their sympathies they always had to share a story about themselves, like that made it any better? It never did.

Sylas scanned the group of demigods. Half relieved, half pissed... A melting pot of emotions, ready to bubble over at any moment. This was a recipe for chaos, even without the added help of himself or the Hera kids. It was only a matter of time before all hell broke loose at camp and they were all going for each others' throats. "I give it a week before half of the demigods here are going at one another."

"Hey," Mason's voice broke the silence. Andy quickly spun around on her heels, her right fist balled. She wanted to tell him to leave her alone, just go away but the words never found their way to her lips. Instead she crossed her arms as he held up his hands as a way to show her he wasn't there to fight. Not that time, anyway. "I come in peace. I just wanted to check you were okay."

"I'm not." Her reply was brief. She didn't try to mask her frustration and anger, letting it show in the way she stood, her facial expression and even the whole two words she spoke. Any other day, Andy would have probably rambled on about everything that had her pissed off. She wouldn't have been thankful at his presence. But not then.

"I also wanted to say I am grateful for your testimony and offering to have your memories looked into. I know it's not over yet but I wanted to say thanks, it means a lot. I'm scared shitless to see what you saw." He even laughed once. Was this his idea of fixing everything that had been broken between them? "But if it's evidence..."

Andy didn't move. She just stood there, staring at him, taking in his words. Part of her wanted to say she didn't do it for him. But they'd both know that was a lie. So, she settled for silence until he nodded toward her and returned to the Acropolis. She contemplated leaving. No Gods came to her, requesting her candor or memories. But she didn't want to be told what happened from someone else. Although the results would be pretty black and white, she didn't need someone twisting how that happened to persuade her to think one way or another.

She didn't re-enter the Acropolis, instead standing at the entrance behind everyone else and watched. Andy winced and looked away as the memories showed Jennova's head removed from her body. After a brief moment, she looked back up seeing a mirage of herself arriving at the scene along with Wes. And then there was a second memory... Jennova handing over the bracelet to Alex. Then that was it. Apparently to the Gods that was damning enough for Hades and Alex's saving grace. Andy had to fight the temptation to let out a disappointed laugh. Why did she expect a fair trial? She had no loyalty to Hades, she had more reason to hate him than most. Yet, this wasn't fair. Condemning a God from a single memory from one girl who is desperate to save her own skin. She rolled her eyes and shook her head and turned from the arena. Mason wasn't going to accept that. And this time, she wasn't going to stop him.

Andy was about to head back to the pegasi and go home, but a new blonde camper all but bee lined for her outside of the arena. She tried her best to seem as welcoming as possible because there was no chance of her dodging the conversation at this point. "Good day, my name is Heath and I am Athena's son. I am also Iliana's adoptive brother. She wanted me to let you know that the trial is over. It turns out that Hades was the cause of Alex's actions for he cursed a bracelet of hers that caused her to become unhinged."

"I saw," she managed to reply as politely as possible.

"I guess Jennova was a friend of yours and I am sorry for your loss. Hades has been banished to the underworld. Anyway, Iliana ultimately wanted to make sure you were going to be okay too. Would you like to be alone for now?"

Andy shook her head. "She wasn't my friend. I don't even know if we ever spoke to one another. I just..." Then she caught herself before she bared everything to Heath. She didn't want to unpack all of that, because the second the flood gates opened they couldn't be closed back up. So, instead she shook her head and brushed it off. "Never mind. Thanks." She gave her best smile. "I just want to go home." Before she got asked anymore questions or stopped by anyone else, Andy turned and headed for their rides out.

Just as she reached the Pegasi, a voice called to her. "Andromeda, I thought you might have come to see me?"

Andy stopped before the nearest Pegasus, not turning around as she addressed her mother. "Why?"

"Because... I'm your mother," Hecate replied.

"And what about Daniel?" Andy snapped, turning to face the Goddess.

Hecate sighed, extending her hand toward her. "Please, Andromeda... Just let me explain."

"No," Andy almost growled as she shoved her mother's hand away. "I don't know what you did to him. But that thing in there," She pointed toward the arena as she spoke. "Is not my brother."

Hecate was quiet as she tried to find the right words. She parted her lips, but Andy spoke up before she could. "Fix him... Or forget that I'm your daughter."

Wes watched as Alex's memories were displayed for them all to watch. A two-armed version of him even arrived, bringing back his own memories of his arrival at the scene. So many other things transpired that year that he nearly forgot he showed up when Andy did. The words his spoke echoed throughout the arena. It was weird having these images of himself displayed for everyone. It wasn't like a sex tape was plastered everywhere but it somehow still managed to feel like an invasion. No one ever liked watching themselves in videos or hearing their own voices... This was no different.

"So, with permission from Zeus himself, the Gods of mount Olympus hereby sentence Hades, ruler of the underworld... banished. To Tartarus."

His heart nearly skipped a beat with relief as the verdict was made. Hades was guilty, not Alex. Finally, Hades was being punished like he had deserved so many times in the past. Part of him wishes that the sentence was worse for Andy's sake along with Alex's but now wasn't the time to argue for a worser penalty. After all, could Gods even be killed? Well if they could, he deserved it.

Wes gave Duke a pat on the back, while flashing him a smile. Not that the two were the closest of friends. But he knew that he had to be feeling similarly how Wes was... relief. Then instinctually, he glanced over his shoulder to find Trinity in the crowd. And she wasn't there. Not that she would have been happy to find him looking a her. He sighed and moved to his feet, making his way outside the arena but he didn't see her. He wondered his way over to the Pegasi and found Andy arguing with someone, only catching the tail end of the conversation.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt," he apologized.

"Don't. I was just leaving." Andy said before turning her back toward the Goddess.

"I... uh... Wesley Preston," he offered his right hand to the Goddess, not really know how to act as he accidentally stepped into that conversation.

But before she could respond, Andy called to him. "Can you help me, please?" He gave Hecate an apologetic smile before he helped Andy onto the back of the Pegasus. "Are you going down?" she asked.

"Um, sure?" Andy was probably his safest bet for riding companion at this point and by the looks of her she was ready to get out of there. With or without him. Part of him wanted to stay behind and wait to speak to Alex, but no doubt her father, her brother... Duke and maybe even the Gods wanted to speak with her. So, he mounted the pegasus and they quickly descended back down to the camp.

Once there, Andy didn't say anything else aside from a passing thank you after he helped her down. She quickly took off in her own direction toward her cabin, leaving him standing there like a big dumb idiot. What was new? Wes scratched his head as he trudged off toward his cabin, testing the reflexes of his new arm as he did, clenching the fingers, twisting and bending it in every direction to see if it did what he wanted. He had no idea a fake arm could do that.

Wes sighed, dropping his arm to his side as he made his way up the steps remembering the state he left his place in. Well, at least he couldn't lie about being busy the rest of the day because it would take that long for him to clean it all up. Then he could just, be alone. But when he opened the door he found everything picked up and back where it belonged... And a blonde standing in the middle of the room with her back to him. His hand slowly fell to his side. "Trinity?" he said, barely above a whisper.

Heath lectured on about the definition of monster according to google that he must have memorised. Did he really want an answer? No. Did he deserve one explaining how he came off as another blind worshipper of the Valises who would lick their boots if they asked, and it was a fact to Mason that she was a monster, yes. But the trial concluding held more importance to him so he let it be.

Ajax piped up again going on that there was some cursed item involved then Alex's second vision began. He inhaled sharply then closed his eyes as he heard the awful thump of his sister's head falling from her body. For some time, he kept his gaze averted to the ground until another God spoke. "We have all witnessed that Hades manipulated his daughter to carry out his work against Miss Valis, so, with permission from Zeus himself, the Gods of mount Olympus hereby sentence Hades, ruler of the underworld... banished. To Tartarus."

Mason looked to Hades accusingly, and rather than vanish in black smoke, Hades let himself be grabbed and taken away. Mason let it happen too, no retaliation or final goodbyes from either of them. Mason lowered his forehead on his fist. So Alex was innocent and Hades guilty according to her memories. Now he was as good as fatherless. Now there was no family to appease. Just more murderous thoughts. But he didn't want to brood about it in Olympus. As he got to his feet, somebody approached with a Goddess in tow and turned a notepad around to face him. What the hell?

~Um, hello, my name is Iliana and I am Demeter's daughter. I can't speak at the moment so this is how I communicate with people. Anyway, I just wanted to say I am sorry for your loss. I saw my . . own father get killed by a human . . when I was 5 and I still have nightmares. Momma told me to remember the good times though and that has helped. So maybe you can try to remember the good times. So I guess what I am trying to say is I know how feels to loss someone dear. I remember being very angry for a long time too and I withdrew from the world. I hope you have someone to lean on. That's really what I wanted to say.~

Was she a mute or what? Nonetheless, Mason sighed, preparing himself to be as civil as he could be. "Me too." At the moment it really was him against the world. "Do you know what happened to your father's killer? Did they walk away freely too?" Because they didn't so much as slap Alex on the wrist for her crime. Mason's eyes moved pass Iliana to Demeter. Gods were normally vengeful beings but he didn't think Demeter or Iliana had it in them to make the human pay. Unlike him.

"No disrespect, but if you hold me up, we're gonna have to ride together and you probably don't really want that. I'll see you back at camp." He shifted past her, patting the small thing's head gently and left the Acropolis. Then another dread struck him. The Underworld. Without somebody to keep it in check, many souls would cling to the hope of life, to try climb out of the place when they didn't belong anymore. "Fucking Gods!" He growled. It wasn't like the Underworld was a nice place full of fun and delight. That was already Hades' punishment.

He didn't have any gods or peers to catch up with. There was no reason for him to stick around. Looked like it was back to being a Hermit for a while. Or back and forth trips in the Underworld. A girl with dark hair and pale complexion was already saddled up and ready to go and as he got closer he knew the face. She was quiet and wouldn't bother him with idle chatter or as he recently discovered, writing. Perfect. "Hope you're not reserving a seat," he said and climbed on behind the girl. "Because you're my best bet."

Mason wasn't much for hugging strangers usually but he wanted to go and that took priority at the moment. He held her slim waist gently. "Sorry," he said in case she was uncomfortable. She'd have to deal with it though because he wasn't falling to his death today. He might have been more sympathetic and aware on other days, but today as she probably witnessed, wasn't his day.

Once at camp again, Mason dismounted and offered her a hand down. "Thanks. For tolerating me." Not that he had been much in the way of conversation, but a brooding presence holding onto her. Mason went to walk away but for some damn forsaken reason he couldn't just leave her casually. "Do you want to get food or something? Can I walk you to your cabin?" Even in his state, he couldn't just leave her without something to offer after flying with her. Besides a day or two earlier he was interested in getting to know what she was about.

Image Duke remained a silent and composed observer throughout the remainder of the trial. There were a few demigods tried to strip emotion from the equation, but it was an emotional case, to expect anything else was unlikely. He hurt for Alex seeing her stab her mother then decapitate Jennova. Neither action was truly hers and it was important people saw that, so though it hurt to live through again, it was vital peers saw the truth: that there was an extraneous variable in play, that no murder would be on the table if it weren't for the curse to begin with.

He was relieved when Ares said the final verdict. Apparently Wes shared the relief and enthusiasm giving him a pat on the back. Duke smiled in return. It was over. It was finally over. Part of him wanted to leap down the wall and hug Alex but brothers first. If Duke and Wes were relieved, imagine Ajax's flood of emotions.

So instead, he headed to another demigod. His counterpart in a way, if they were to address their power of elements. "You raised some good points in trial. You should probably just work on execution, might get more respect that way." Liv possessed a real don't give a shit attitude, like an angsty teen so maybe his words meant nothing to her. And judging by the blood on her dress, she had already picked the wrong person to give that attitude to. Maybe she didn't give much of a crap about being respected but what was the point of talking if no one was going to listen? In the end, it all came down to execution.

"Are you ready to head out or what?" He gestured out of the Acropolis, arm out for the taking or decline. Either option was one he could live with. Duke was ready to return to his warehouse/cabin. It had felt like an extensively long day.

Image He just couldn't find a comfortable way to sit, tossing and turning, folding one leg over the other, upright, slouched. Gods, to settle was impossible. When Alex had recovered, she was right back into the pensieive this time to reveal the night of Jennova's death. Keith frowned, upset to find Alex had murdered another in a fit of rage but somehow, as the memories were explored, they found Jennova and Hades had collaborated on a curse on her bracelet.

To Keith it still brought about a debate whether it was right or wrong. Sure, there were other options like a duel or holding Jennova on trial but if he had to fit his feet in Alex's shoes he wouldn't have had the most rational mind either. Nonetheless, the Gods dismissed it finding the villain behind it all and Keith let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

He turned his attention to the pretty brunette and shifted over to her. "So what did we think of that episode?" Despite the bad timing, Keith had to make light of a hefty situation otherwise he'd just crumble. Although it was arguably hyper insensitive. But Cherise didn't seem super PC. "There's so much drama and emotion present, it's actually a pretty accurate capturing of the atmosphere in camp. Are you and your sunshine and blossom up to the task?"

He sat up and looked all around the Acropolis, meerkat like. "Your friend didn't stay long." Self-consciously he thought he might have been the problem again, and almost asked if it was due to him but stopped himself. Keith had recently moved past the whole nervous rambling phase with Cherise and he didn't want to backtrack. He had learned by now the girl didn't bite.

"Did you um...maybe want to catch a ride together on the way back to Camp or...wait around here." Since he had taken so much of the girl's time he didn't see her talk to any God. He didn't even know which one was her parental figure. He'd be happy to wait around because there wasn't much back at camp for him so he was in no rush to return to his loner status.

In fact, a fraction of him saw an opportunity in the scenario of people leaving the Acropolis, either returning to camp or bonding with their parents. Maybe he could have a look at the magic pool himself. The more he toyed with the idea, the more it sung to him like a siren song. Keith had to know what had hurt him and he was attached to the idea that that water held a solution. It had accessed Alex's repressed memories.

Privacy or no privacy Keith edged towards the front row.

Image"That won't help."

Keith almost tipped over the edge of the Acropolis hearing his mother's voice. "Huh? I wasn't -"

"You've changed so much. It's no wonder Andromeda is upset with me," she said looking Keith up and down. "My poor boy, I do hope you can forgive me." She stepped by his side. "I cannot undo what's been done and consulting the Pensieve will merge memories and warp your mind. But if you bury deep...if you surround yourself with support and those who were there last year, I believe you'll get your answers." Hecate hugged him briefly and left with a smile.

What she really left him with was more turmoil. But at least she gave him hints on how to fill in the blanks. Keith still felt her eyes on him, however, was more preoccupied on who to approach for answers and who he could class as support. When he had enough wondering, he headed to the horses waiting for a partner to appear.

God of the Skies & Justice / King of the gods || Hex: #00457a

Image With the trial now dealt with, and with Hades completely out of his sight, Zeus could finally grab a moment with his children before they'd have to leave him again for Camp. "I would like a word with both of my children."
Zeus said, causing the other Gods to leave the room and the arena. "My children... I have never doubted either of you of being good people, and once Camp Athens is over for the both of you, I want you to decide on something."

he held his hands together in front of him as he stood there before them, looking between them with a gentle smile. "It is your choice alone, so whatever you decide, I will be happy. You can either come and live here with me, or you can remain on Earth with your step-father." he knew it could be a possible hard choice for them, but he hadn't done it on purpose to get them away from their step-father. Zeus knew as plain as day, what that mortal man had done for both Alex and Ajax. Raised them as his own, loved Susanna when Zeus could not. He honored the man, but he wanted to remain close to his children, to get to know them better than he thought. "You do not have to decide right away." he assured them. "There is plenty of time." he promised.

Just after hugging both of his children, and before he was about to head out, someone else had joined them. First, it was Iliana. The adorable young lady from earlier. It was nice of her to apologize to his son, though Zeus did know or understand what she was being sorry for. Next, was Heath. Still polite as ever.

"Pardon me Lord Zeus, but my mother and I have a private manner we wish to discuss with you?"

"Of course. Follow me." He leads them both to a separate room. "We will not be disturbed here. How can I help?"

Son of Zeus || Hex: Green Outfit: XXX

ImageHe couldn't contain himself. The second Alex was proven innocent, he vaulted over the wall and landed in the arena before he rushed over to her. He pulled her into his chest with his arms wrapped around her, and almost squeezed the air out of her. He chuckled as she wheezed for air. He let her go.

"You scared me."

"I know. I'm sorry. she said, her brows furrowed.

"Don't be. I'm just glad you're still with us." Mason wouldn't have agreed of course, neither would his own girlfriend, or anyone else behind them... but it didn't matter. None of it mattered anymore. Of course, Jennova was still robbed of life, but no-one could blame Alex for wanting to avenge her mother. So many would have wanted to do the same. Just as Ajax gave his little sister one more hug, their father had joined them.

Ajax stood there staring at him as Zeus announced his proposal to make a choice on where they'd both want to be, and honestly... Ajax was torn. He was already on the path towards Mount Olympus as future king, and Earth would be that home he'd miss once it was gone. Unable to step foot there, again. Unable to see the faces he cared and loved, again.

He knew his father was telling the truth. He had no reason to play manipulation with his children.

Ajax turned his head to look at Iliana with her mother. She was writing on that notepad of hers again. As soon as she was done, she turned it around for him to read it: ~I am sorry about my behavior before the trial when I gave you those flowers. I just felt your anger and it scared me. I am . . . able to feel the emotions of others and it directly affects me to the point where I can't control my actions or powers. So I left before I could hurt you and Ethan.~

He nodded. "Um.. okay..." He was confused as to why she needed to explain herself, but it was clear that she was more sensitive than the other girls, which was fine. Everyone is different after all."I honestly do appreciate it, but you, or your... brothers?" he couldn't remember if they were related or not. "Don't need to keep apologizing for what you believe to be wrong. What I'm trying to say is... it's fine. Just be yourself." He shrugged. "I should be sorry. I didn't mean to scare you, so... as an apology, how about I ride with you back to camp, huh? you can tell me a little more about yourself."

Daughter of Zeus || Hex: #d63b71

Image It felt good to finally be free, and she couldn't wait to get back to camp to be with her friends, her brother, and Duke. It felt good to have that monster inside of her head finally die, knowing that what she did, was not by her own impulse, but a cursed and manipulated one.

She looked up into the crowd, and even though some had left, and some that showed no sign of relief for her innocence... Alex smiled. Wes, Duke, and Ajax were still there, at least. For a little while. Her smile faded.

"Are you ready to head out or what?" She caught Duke say, his arm waiting for someone to hook their arm around it. It was the girl who had made such a long speech earlier. Clearly, she had impressed him for him to give her the time of day, and no doubt a ride back to camp. Alex watched, and expected even Wes to come to her... but neither of them did. Just her brother.

He ran to her and hugged her half to death, right before their father asked them to decide on something that Alex was more than happy to hear come from him. For years, she had wanted to meet him, and dreamt so many times of life beside him where she would get to see him every single day. But now that it was offered to her... she didn't know what to say. She had so much to leave behind.

She hugged her father. "We'll think about it." she answered for herself and Ajax before her father left to speak with Heath and Athena. It sounded important, but Alex wasn't about to eavesdrop. She wanted to be back at camp, so she headed out and made her way to the winged horses where Daniel stood alone.

It seemed he was waiting for someone, but the second some brunette girl arrived, Alex smiled. It was nice to see him moving on. She didn't know the girl, but Alex felt as though she was maybe what he needed to distract him. He had been through so much.

With everyone else partnering up, Alex climbed up onto the free horse, adjusting herself on its back. Maybe riding alone was a good idea. A chance to be by herself with her thoughts.

Image
With the trial concluded, the daughter of Poseidon felt, well, probably as her father did - in between two really pathetic gods still fighting for this or that. She wrinkled her nose, her darkened eyes veered down toward Alex and then shifted to Hades as he was being banished. Or whatever it is that the gods do, Liv didn't really know. She crossed her arms over her chest; the earbuds in her ears hardly vanquished the conundrum of the trial's aftermath. Soon enough, everyone was departing.

Liv sat there for a little longer. Maybe she was hoping for a showing from her father, much like everyone else's godly parents. Yet, he does not come. Her lips did that thing where they kind of pouted, and then they thinned out with disappointment. Maybe he was also tired of being caught between the plague that is the eternal battle of Zeus and Hades.

For a quiet moment with some somber tune with the timbre of a grown-up celebrity that caters to every teenager's angsty side, she watched as demigods paired up. She couldn't shake this feeling that nothing good will come of this, even with the verdict. How could anyone know what is real? Liv wasn't so sure about everyone else, but the more she thought about it -- her gaze traveling from one god to another, flitting to the demigods one by one. It was a calculatory gaze, similar to that of Liam's, but without the combat expertise.

She looked at the more passive voices; the children of the more peaceful and friendly gods: Cherise, Ethan, Iliana, Heath - and wondered where they might stand.

"You raised some good points in the trial. You should probably just work on execution, might get more respect that way. Are you ready to head out or what?" A much closer voice crawled through her earbuds as the song died down, just during that pause before the next one might chime in. She pulled the both of them out and looked at him pointedly, standing quietly. For the moment she hooked her arm into his but was otherwise very quiet.

They make way to the beastly, white-winged creatures and her arm untangled from Duke's own. She walked to the front, whispering something under her breath. It was enough for the horse's neck to lower so that she could give it a quick pat and some simple instructions. "I need to visit daddy dearest, so I am going to need you to get as close to the ocean as possible. Be careful with the other rider and make sure he doesn't fall off. Hmm?" Of course, speaking to equine creatures is on her list of capabilities, especially since Poseidon practically invented them. She smiles at it, and there was seemingly some acknowledgment of instruction there.

Without further adieu, she hopped on - likely with his assistance and behind him. Only then would she address his earlier comments, leaning in toward him and setting her chin on his shoulder so that her mouth might reach his ear. It wasn't anything other than the Pegasus was so fast, and the wind was incredibly loud - it was otherwise impossible to get a word in without screaming at him. ”It’s not about respect. It's about… being caught up in this millennia-old game that our parents have been playing with each other. It's about not being used. Maybe even about not falling into the same traps. If I were down there, I wouldn't want to be judged because of my godly parent." She pulled away and then gave him a tap on the side, "Hold on tight."

That said, she swung an awkward leg over and edged close to falling off of the horse. She took in a deep breath, and then - just as its hooves skim the ocean’s surface, she dove right in. The execution was flawless, and she hardly made a splash as she cut through the water.

Time to find her father and maybe figure out how to deal with all of this.

"I’d call you repulsive, but I wouldn’t want to turn you on." Oh, but Liam was smart. He is just ill-mannered - thought he could do whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. There were no boundaries with him. He was like an Aphrodite child on steroids and with a dash of violence. For a mama's boy, he sure was pretty vile to the fairer sex. So, when she called him “repulsive” in that sly ‘she didn’t really want to but was thinking it’ manner, he didn’t hold it against her. In fact, he just grinned wide and cocked his head from side to side, as if thinking about that comment jokingly in the recesses of his own distorted cranium.

He leaned in close, likely as soon as she did herself, and let his eyes travel to her own, "I know I am repulsive. It doesn't turn me on, but I'm thinking that you're enjoying the attention. It's okay, though, you can pretend that you're not."

"I'm Eve. Sister of no one important," she informs him while squeezing his thigh like the conniving vixen she probably is. Not that he minded, naturally. She's a woman. He's a man. There wasn't going to be much that she could do to him otherwise. It's a sexist thought, but he wasn't exactly an upstanding gentleman rooting for the efforts of women to shed their physically inferior stereotypes. He wasn't as acutely aware that there are other ways to cause a lot of harm to someone.

Then she stood, and he just sat there. Right as he practically broke his neck from unnatural extension when he observes her rear end, she caught him. "If you want to rub against me on one of those beasts, you better help me up first." With that invitation, he all but jumps out of his seat and is well on his way toward her in a light jog, slowing as he caught him.

Not the invitation to rub on her. That was borderline sexual assault, and he knew better, but the one in which they would actually ride those Pegasus'. Now, those were some scary-ass beasts - diving and swooping in that kind of way that has even a hardass like Liam clenching his buttcheeks. Which they do notice, by the way - the horses. They know when the cheeks clench, and they seem to have taken it as a personal invitation to make the flight even more terrifying on his way to Olympus.

After all, now he has a lady that will ride with him, and he can't be seen clenching his buttcheeks.

After she approached one of the horses, his large hands grab her on either side of the waist and plop her right onto it. As for himself, he just clamors on like a hot mess. The Pegasus dreaded the weight of a man over two-hundred bounds, and with Eve joining him, this horse was going to need a godly chiropractor. He placed himself behind her so that she could be secure - a small glimmer of protective instinct flickering in an otherwise abrasive and surly guy. One of his hands grasp its white mane, the other arm snaking around her waist and ensuring that Eve was properly pressed up against him. Once he felt that all were secure, and his buttcheeks were relaxed, the beast took off.

Within moments they were on the beach, and as he had helped her up, he reaches up to assist her in dismount. Once she is settled onto the ground, he releases and then starts to walk. "What the fuck to demigods do here anyway? I mean, is it all underworld versus Olympus versus ocean, or is there some purpose?" Now that there was a conversation at hand that was not about Eve's body, he maybe looks a little less repugnant. At the same time, he's genuinely curious about the grand purpose of this place. He didn't want to be part of his father's home or his world, and he certainly did not enjoy the thought of being around a bunch of high school drama kids.

Not that he was any better. Truly.

Image As he escourted Liv to a pegasus in silence, she broke off and seemed to be whispering something to the horse. Strange behaviour had to be somewhat expected in a camp full of demigods so he waited back as if it were a privvy conversation. Once it concluded with Liv and the horse straightening, Duke lifted Liv on the back and climbed on, shuffling forward to assure plenty of room for the daughter of Poseidon.

She placed her chin on his shoulder and spoke to him during flight. ”It’s not about respect. It's about… being caught up in this millennia-old game that our parents have been playing with each other. It's about not being used. Maybe even about not falling into the same traps. If I were down there, I wouldn't want to be judged because of my godly parent."

Duke turned to face her as she pulled away. "I don't think they see it like that."

He didn't get the chance to explain further as she said to hold on tight and the horse lowered down by the ocean. Shit. Automatically Duke's grip tightened on the mane, ready to redirect the horse. Liv was moving around behind him and he paid a confused glance or two over his shoulder before she dove in. For a moment he looked at her diving space expecting her to surface and flag him down but he reminded himself she was a daughter of the sea and willingly dived.

He landed without a passenger which probably wasn't a good look to anyone that saw him pair with Liv. He climbed off with a huff patting the creature once, grateful that it hadn't thrown him overboard or diverted course. He walked to his cabin briskly. Duke had earned some rest and sleep.

Image Apparently the girl wasn't used to being a first to anyone and if he cared a little more, he would have assured her she had her perks.

"You say that as if your presence is usually intolerable."

Mason smiled a little. "I'm top three of most intolerable in camp." Because even when he was approached by the odd camper or two, he had an attitude that chased them away. It's just the way he was. He couldn't help but let the coldness in his heart show.

"You don't have to be so polite," she said. She stood like a statue for some time and Mason thought her preference clear. "I just wish to avoid Sylas for as long as possible. And if you want to be alone, I understand," she answered finally.

In honesty it probably was for the best that he headed his way and she heads her own. "If you say so," he shrugged and nodded. Just as he got a step or two away, she spoke again.

"Aren't the two of you... a thing?" Mason frowned, prepared to ask for context but when he saw the big guy and Eve, he drew the lines.

Mason narrowed his eyes on small brunette. Eve and he didn't play discreet but he didn't think they particularly drew attention to themselves either. He glanced between the pair on the horse and her, tongue pressed to his cheek. "Sloane, right?" He wanted to be sure that was her name since they'd never officially met and gone through all those formalities. "How long have you been playing fly on the wall?" Mason didn't really care for her answer or retaliation so he waved it off. "Let's say it's complicated."

"I can go take Liam off her hands, if you wish to talk with her. I doubt my presence with you would make her jealous. I'm not the type of person that other women are jealous of," she said.

Mason rose a brow and looked her over. Sure her dress looked like it belonged on a fashionable older woman but Sloane wasn't ugly. Actually she could have snuck in as one of his top 4. He appreciated the offer too, more so if he actually cared about Eve. "Don't undersell yourself. But if you want to take Liam off her hands for the sake of it," Mason nodded in their direction. "I'm not really the jealous type when it comes to our relationship." And the lack of jealousy was exclusive to their relationship.

"Goodnight, Sloane." He headed off. He was in two minds, one to see Andy and another to go direct to his cabin. The latter won. Andy needed some time to cool down and so did he.

Mason pulled his tie off glad to get rid of the foresaken thing. He should have checked the underworld but he didn't want to deal with another problem for the day. Jacket and shirt came off, then he kicked his shoes off.

Image He had a ready smile for Cherise, but it dropped when he saw the weapon she was now equipped with. A crossbow. Well it looked like it would be a nervous flight inbound and outbound. Keith rose his hands in surrender hesitantly.

“I call front this time, and maybe a nice upbeat tune. Unless you're waiting on someone, then, well - I can just hop on a flying horse with someone else. I don't want to seem like I am just clinging to the first cute face I see.”

"If you want the front and to pick the music, you can just shotgun you know?" He lowered his hands back on the horse. Then he picked up on some other certain words she said. "Cute face? Thank...thank you." Keith wanted to say her face was cute too but he wasn't good at the whole compliment business. Especially as the timing would have made it sound forced. Okay snap out of it. She probably meant nothing of it.

Keith hovered his hands out to lift her. "May I?" When Cherise was on, Keith clambered on behind her. He couldn't hug her as tight as he wanted on the rollercoaster with the crossbow in the way, so it was indeed bound to be a nervous flight back to camp as well. Before they took off, Keith brushed aside her hair softly to expose an ear and gently placed the earbud in, then handed her his music to pick a song and readied an earbud in his own ear.

He was relying heavily on company and music to distract him from the fear of falling and on uncertain angles, he would tighten his grip around her. Despite nerves etc, he did believe they made it to Camp in one piece. Being too eager to dismount, he stumbled a little, but other than that, they were dandy. "Made it again, woo." He went for the high five again before realizing he hadn't helped her down yet. "Sorry." He grinned and held out a hand for her.

"I think I'm developing a phobia of crossbows," he confessed uneasily. "You're not gonna live with that thing attached to your back, right?" That might have caused some friction in their developing relationship. A lovely girl with a crossbow was a real mixed message. The camp was already loaded with nasty, feisty and fighting demigods, she didn't have to add to those numbers.

Son of Zeus || Hex: Green Outfit: XXX

Image ~Okay Ajax, I'll ride with you, but I won't be able to talk with you until we get back to camp.~ That was fine by him since he needed to go over his own thoughts anyway about the entire trial. Seeing everything his sister had done due to manipulation, and the feeling of not being able to protect her from it in the first place. He blamed himself, yet again.

~Lia is my nickname. So, after you I guess?~

He could tell she was finding it awkward, or that she was feeling anxious about the entire situation he had invited her into, but she would be ago once he had given her the time to warm up to him.

Ajax motioned his head to the horse with a smile. "Ladies first." he carefully took hold of her waist and hoisted her up onto the horse's back before hopping on behind her, before he took the reins and chuckled as he felt her tense up slightly with his arms either side of her. "Relax. I'm not going to hurt you, or throw you off mid-flight. I promise. That's only for those who start singing annoying songs." he joked, knowing that she wouldn't be able to with being quiet. It wasn't long before they were back at Camp. The horse executed its landing perfectly before he hopped off and helped Iliana down gently. "See, wasn't so bad was it?" he asked, and gave her shoulder a gentle, comforting rub. "I swear I'm not all Mr.Angry."

***

The following day, Ajax woke with the feeling that he hadn't slept that well. The trial still lingering in his head, the feeling of his own girlfriend hating him more than ever, and how everyone was going to be now Alex was free.

There was always going to be tension in the air no matter what, and after yesterday... they needed something normal. Something that could at least allow them to relax for a little while Maybe a beach party like last year? It would be easy to set up. Daniel was the only person, so far, that he knew was enthusiastic about music, or maybe they could set up a cushioned area on the beach, huge fabric screen to watch a horror movie or something like that?

He got out of bed and put on some clean clothes after quickly using the bathroom to wash etc, and headed outside and headed towards the canteen to get some breakfast.

He sat in the far corner by himself, for now, hoping that he wasn't looking unapproachable to those who needed him as the staff announcement came through the speakers. "As soon as you can, head to the staff cabin and vote for the poll that is pinned outside. Movie night and games with drinks and food, or Just a traditional Campfire, music, games, drinks and food." the speakers squeaked slightly as they turned off, and Ajax remained to enjoy his morning cereal of cornflakes. He had voted for the movie night.

Daughter of Zeus || Hex: #d63b71

Image She hadn't been afraid of not looking where they were flying since the horse knew exactly where it was going anyway. He was about to answer her question, but they had arrived back at camp quicker than she had expected.

After dismounting the horse perfectly through years of practice on her own, Pete had managed to join her on the ground. She folded both of her arms and began to walk beside him along the beach towards camp. It looked like everyone had arrived back before them, many of them probably already tucked away in bed after a long, drawn-out trial.

“I think,” Pete began to say, breaking the silence. “I would miss the opportunity to know you better.” he had finally replied to her previous question. He didn't have to, but she was happy that he did. Alex smiled at that as she looked down toward her feet. The camp was closer by now, and also time for them to part ways. As Pete stood still, so did Alex. “You should just tell those guys you’re pissy about them leaving.” Pete said.

Should she? their lives didn't revolve around her, and neither did hers around them, so was it even right for her to be upset with them? no doubt they had perfect reasons to just up and leave. Especially since she was with her brother and father anyway. Maybe tomorrow at some point. Tonight she just wanted her bed. Her eyes were getting heavier by the second.

Pete gave her a slight nod before heading off in the direction of what Alex presumed to be toward his own cabin, but she didn't head to hers. Not right away. Instead, she remained on the beach for a little while. It was good opportunity to clear some of the thoughts that lingered in that head of hers about the trial.

The sun was almost set. Such a beautiful sight, and to think that today could have been her last to see it or anything wonderful that came with life itself.

She placed her behind down onto the sand, her arms wrapped around her legs as she pulled them into her chest with her chin resting upon her knees. The waves gently crashed against the shore as she looked up at the moon that had become more visible now the sun had finally gone to sleep, bringing out the clusters of never-ending diamonds that twinkled in the black veil of night. Later evenings like this were honestly her favorite. All she could hear was the gentle chirpings of crickets that sat in the nearby grass, rubbing their back legs together like a tiny orchestra while the lightning bugs seemed to dance along to it.

She covered her mouth as she yawned. It was time to head to bed for real this time, so she got up and headed to her cabin.

***

With the sun hidden behind the curtains that remained shut in Alex's room, she hadn't had time to even open her eyes all that much as Wes made his way into the room after a gentle knock. "Peace offering from a shitty best friend?" he asked.

"Wh-what?" she said, rubbing at her eyes and trying to focus on him as he made his way over to her bed, setting the coffee and doughnuts down on her nightstand. She propped herself up a little with her pillows resting behind her for support as she listened to what Wes had to say. Surely Pete hadn't mentioned anything to him.

"I'm sorry I disappeared after the trial. I thought you might have wanted family time... I was kinda lost in my own world." He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Trinity and I had a fight. Somehow, someone got it into her head that I invited another girl back to my cabin. So, turns out she doesn't trust me... and I told her I love her." Wes let out a weak laugh as he shrugged his shoulders.

Image "Slow down. First of all.." she held her hand onto his arm as if to steady him. "Thank you for the breakfast, and I am so happy to see you this morning, but... I... Pete didn't say anything to you, did he?" She grabbed a doughnut, stuffing a bit of it into her mouth. With her lips now covered in sugar, she smiled. "You're not a shitty friend, Wes, you just have your own problems going on. I won't lie, though, it did hurt that you and Duke left so quickly after the trial, but it's now obvious that you had your reasons. That's the only reason why I'm not angry with you. Duke... well... he will have to explain his side of things." She placed the other half of the doughnut back onto the plate to sip the warm, delicious coffee he had made her. "Definitely a wise choice to bring me coffee and doughnuts." she winked and smiled. Doughnuts were one of her favorite desserts, and she was honestly addicted to the taste of coffee beans no matter what time of day. Though she had promised herself to limit the ammount she drunk each day.

"So, yesterday was shit. We can agree on that." Alex nodded. It definitely was shit. It should have never gotten that far, and even though she was manipulated into murdering her own blood, she still felt as though she could have tried much harder to avoid the situation between her and Jennova. Maybe she could say sorry to Mason directly? thought she knew, deep down that wouldn't change his thoughts or feelings about her. The daughter of Zeus was always going to be a murderer in his eyes, even if she proved that she was a nice person.

Wes flopped onto the bed next to her and placed his hat on her head and flicked the bill before he propped his head up in his left hand. Alex chuckled softly, readjusting the hat. "I've decided that it is mandatory we have fun today. You have to laugh at least 5 times. No tears unless they are from laughter or joy. And I shall redeem myself from being a horrible friend." He smiled toward her, tilting his head to the side slightly. "What do you say?"

She pretended to think long and hard about it before stuffing one of the doughnuts into his mouth. She laughed."Deal. And that's only four more laughs to go already." She smirked. "What do you have planned?"

"I wouldn't dream of it. I think Trinity would kill me if that happened, and besides," Alex bumped him with her arm. "I don't think you could handle this much of a storm."

"I don't know. Have you seen Trinity's storm?" Wes's eyes went wide as his brows raised. He then laughed as he let himself roll over onto his back, resting his hands on his abdomen, fingers entangled. "I'm in the eye of her hurricane right now. If I make it out alive, I'd call it a success," he mused, trying to make light of his current situation.

"A party is definitely a good idea for all of us, though. I want to get so drunk, but don't let me get too drunk, okay? I don't want to be throwing up on someone's shoes. I just want to have fun."

"There's a difference between so drunk and too drunk?" He asked as he looked over at her with a confused smile.

A party did sound nice, but Wes couldn't help but wonder if he'd be able to have fun. Of course, he'd try. He was like a scolded puppy dog. And sure, he could hide his sadness for awhile. Like being with Alex without Trinity around, it was easy for him to not think about it as much. To let himself laugh and enjoy the presence of his friend. But, once he was there, able to see her having fun without him, would he be able to enjoy himself? Sometimes he wished he wasn't an Aphrodite kid. Then maybe he wouldn't be a blubbering romantic.

Wes sighed, pushing his depressing thoughts to the recesses of his mind, at least for the time being. He then sat up slowly. "Well then, if you're wanting a party... then you should probably get up. Maybe shower?" He grinned playfully as he pretended to fan away the smell from his nose. "Then we can go vote on the bonfire?" He cocked his head to the side slightly. "I mean, I doubt a movie night would be all that thrilling... Definitely sex though." He laughed at his own joke. One thing he did know, given his parentage, is that sexual tension at that damn camp was palpable. Shoving all of them into a dark room with background noise probably wasn't the best idea.

"We might be able to kidnap a Hecate kid to change it up a bit and not do the same beach bonfire party we always do." Then after Wes said it, there were only two options under that category. Keith, Daniel's weird doppelgänger, or Andy, probably the only other person at camp besides Mason to blatantly show her dislike of Alex. "Or maybe just the regular beach party," he corrected, laughing at his own dumb idea.

"And," Wes added holding up his index finger. "If you're wanting to get someone's attention, like... Oh, I don't know Duke's? Or maybe this Pete? Then I suggest you dress to turn some heads tonight." He then put out his hand to stop her before she want a little too crazy. "For the love of the Gods, please, nothing too revealing. That's all I need is your brother trying to kill me because you're dressed like a stripper."

“I'd imagine that’s a perk to her schemes,” Evelyn said as she picked up her apple. “But I don't think that was her flirting with you.”

"No, I don't think it was," Sylas replied smiling slightly to match her own. He couldn't help but glance over his shoulder in the blondes direction, raising a brow out of curiosity when she sat herself across from Ajax. "So far she seems more interested in breaking the good ones, rather than venturing on the wrong side of the tracks," he added, speaking in metaphor. "If Eve desires a taste of the darker side of things, well, that's what Mason is for." Sylas looked over at Evelyn. "She can control him."

He didn't doubt that Eve was going to continue to make jabs at him until she found something that pissed him off just right. Or if she gave up. But Sylas didn't see that happening. From what he's seen of the girl, she likes being in control and when she has no power over someone, then she has no use for them. And that's where he was. Sure, he could probably get sex out of her if he wanted it. He doubted it be that difficult. But he had more pressing things than scratching an itch or taking someone's sloppy seconds. Plus, he simply didn't want to give her the satisfaction of thinking she had power over him. She didn't.

“You don't have to be a mind reader to know what I'm thinking, Sylas.”

"No, I don't," he acknowledged her comment, watching Evelyn's gaze drift to his neck then back up to his eyes.

“Are you going to tell me what happened or not?”

Sylas wasn't an idiot, nor did he think Evelyn saw him in that light. He knew that lying to her, at this point, would be transparent. So far, he has been honest. He might have lied by omission, but he never said a word that was not true in one way or another. He may be an enigma, but he was at least a partially truthful one in her presence. And while he is play the role of a victim heavily with someone else, with her, it wouldn't work. She already knew too much about him to know when he was being false.

Evelyn hummed, before holding her apple out as an offering toward him. “Are you resistant to all compulsion or only charm speech?”

"So, the snake has entered the garden." Sylas smirked as he extended his hand to take the apple, brushing her fingertips with his own. He brought the fruit to his lips and took a large bite before placing in back into her waiting palm. "I'm not sure, care to find out?" His smile grew. It was like tempting the devil. Intoxicating. Plus, he'd be lying if he said he wasn't curious to see what she was capable of.

A loud slam into a table within the hall temporarily caught his attention. Sylas glanced over his shoulder to see Andromeda Bolton looking more devious than a spawn of hell, with the hot tempered daughter of Ares hot on her heels. No doubt she was threatening Eve. He was surprised it took someone this long. "I don't know much about that Hecate girl," he said as he turned back around. "I fought her in capture the flag though. It would be an foolish to go against her and a daughter of Ares." Then, almost on cue, glass walls shot up from the ground in the hall, encapsulating Eve so she had no where to go but out. "It never ceases to be interesting here."

Then he paused. Sylas was skirting around her question. He knew it, and Evelyn knew it too. He ran his tongue along his lip as he sighed, looking down at the table searching for the right words. He could just say the truth, let the minx beside him see his true nature and see what she does with that knowledge. He couldn't deny that he was curious to see how she'd react. He tapped his fingers on the table before finally speaking up. "I was attacked, in my cabin... By someone who doesn't know who they are dealing with." Sylas slowly looked over at Evelyn, meeting her gaze. "You're a smart woman. Who's missing from this hall?"

He could let Evelyn connect the dots how she saw fit and make her own conclusions. There wasn't many people missing from the main hall. Duke, Alex, Wes, Sloane and Liam. And of those, who would be able to do match or over power him? Liam, perhaps Duke, but he hasn't yet seen him fight. But if you laid those cards on the table along with the words of an obnoxious blonde, the answer was right there. It didn't take detective to piece that together. He gave Evelyn 30 seconds, maybe less.

"I'm beginning to think that the women here are too smart to sleep with me. I'm sure that you will make me seem less - repugnant, actually." Liam gave her some squinty eyed look that came off a bit playful. All the while, Sloane pursed her lips as her brows tugged together slightly. Out of every word in the English language, why did he insist on using that particular one to describe himself. Sure, he was rough around the edges, had no idea how to talk to a woman and might have been a walking billboard for fuck boys, but that's just who he was.

Regardless of his negative qualities, Liam stood up for her and protected her. He gave her a place to stay, when he had no reason to. And even forgave her after learning that she played him like a piano with her powers. If anyone was more repulsive, it'd be Sloane. She used him, similarly to how he used other women. She let her brother manipulate, bully and belittle her for years. She never got the chance to make friends, fall in love or live because she always lived in fear. But she wasn't going to argue about it, not now.

"Unless you liked what you saw and you don't want me with other girls?"

Liam's words had snapped her out of whatever head space Sloane had sunken into. She sighed, rolling her eyes as she crossed her arms over her chest. Gods, he really was horrible at talking to girls. "You don't strike me as the commitment type," she commented while holding his gaze. She shook her head as a small smile graced her lips. "And I'm not that type of girl," she added. Regardless if Sloane enjoyed the sight of him in his towel, it wasn't going to make her want to climb into bed with him.

He pushed off his knees, moving to his feet. Gods he was huge, over a foot taller than her. If the circumstances were different, Sloane might have been frightened of him. He could snap her in half without breaking a sweat. But something about his horrible flirting and a puppy seemed to chase any of that away. "Let's go get the rest of your shit from your cabin while your brother's out. Not that I mind that smell on you." He smiled while wiggling his eyebrows at her.

Sloane rolled her eyes, once again, as she walked around him and headed for the door. She had a feeling she was going to get headaches from how much he'd make her do that. But it at least made her smile. She didn't do that enough. She stopped by the door, seeing a leash hanging on the wall. Sloane reached out and took it, then held it out toward Liam. "What?" Her brows raised as she wiggled the leash. "You can't very well leave him cooped up in here all day."

Liam's hands all but swallowed hers as she shoved the leash into his palm. Once he took it, Sloane opened the door and headed outside. It was a strange day. For the first time in years, she wasn't wearing skirts and heels, dressed like she was about to spend a day in court. Her hair wasn't pulled back into some secretary type style, but flowed freely at her shoulders in its natural curled wildness. Not to mention she wasn't wearing an ounce of makeup. It made her feel almost naked, exposed to the world, not pristine or poised, just... human. But deep down, it was a little freeing. Sloane wasn't forcing herself to be perfect and what everyone else expected of her. She was just herself, some quiet, shy girl.

Once Liam joined her, they started heading in the direction of her cabin. For awhile it was silent. Sloane's hands kept fidgeting, tugging at the sleeves of her cardigan or brushing her loose curls behind her ears. But eventually, she broke the silence. "I could help you," she said, looking up at Liam. "With your girl problem."

Sloane remained quiet for a moment, letting Liam think about her offer or maybe argue that he didn't need her help. "You're not repugnant," she clarified before continuing. "I don't know much about dating, or really anything about dating for that matter... But I do know women." The corner of her mouth curved into a slight smile. Her short legs nearly working double time to keep in pace with his large strides. "I don't really approve of seducing women into your bed... But, I'd like to think someday something I told you could help you find your forever person. I'm sure she'd appreciate it."

Sloane actually laughed thinking about it. She could imagine some girl thanking her, a couple years down the line, for showing Liam how to give a decent compliment. Or maybe he'd be so thick, that it'd make his flirting even more cringe worthy. Although that would make her laugh to the point of tears. But either way, Liam helped her. And there wasn't very much that Sloane had in the realm of repayment. The least she could do for him, and the poor girls he tries to talk to, was give him a few... or a lot, of pointers.

Daughter of Zeus || Hex: #d63b71 || Outfit for Party

Image "So?" He spun around playfully, causing Alex to smile as she watched him. "It's weird, having two arms again." He laughed. "I just managed to figure out tying my shoes one-handed... kind of."

She chuckled. "You've never allowed one arm to get you down, though, which is pretty damn awesome if you ask me."

He moved over to the door, nodding toward the exit. "Are you ready to go?" he asked, and opened the door for her, giving Alex a smile before motioning in the general direction of the party. Her stomach was doing cartwheels. She smiled and softly tucked a few strands of her hair behind her left ear. "I'm ready" she told him with a smile still plastered on her little face. She couldn't wait to get there. Finally, she could be herself again. She hooked her arm around Wes's, grinning as she clung to his arm excitedly as they made their way toward the beach. The path which leads down to it was lit up beautifully with lanterns. It was magical. The staff had done a good job, and no doubt one or both of the Hecate kids would kick it up a few notches if they needed to.

With her hold still on her friend, Alex stood marveling at the sight with a sigh of happiness. "Let's make this a night to remember" she grinned, sinking into his side as if going to tickle him before she leads the way towards the refreshments.

She decided to go for the tropical-flavored drinks that sat in the ice to remain nice and chilled. The staff was on hand at the bbq, cooking up some burgers and hotdogs if anyone wanted any during the night. Even pizza got ordered. She glanced around for Pete, Duke, and her brother who sat by himself. She would have gone over to him, but she could tell that he wanted to be by himself for a bit since he took to distancing himself from everyone else. "If there's any dancing... you going to ask Trinity?" she asked Wes.

Son of Zeus || Hex: Green Outfit for Party

He could tell that Andy didn't want any of this, but she wasn't to blame even if she believed herself to be a monster. He didn't think she was. Not even for a second could he label her as such since she was beautiful. "I do love you, Ajax," she whispered into his shoulder as she remained close to him. He closed his eyes as he slowly ran his fingertips up and down the center of her back. Hopefully what he was doing was right, or he'd have to come to terms with losing her for good.

"I know you do." he whispered back and sighed gently before he lay one more kiss on her forehead, but this time it lingered as if he was saying goodbye to her. "I'll see you at the party, maybe?" he gently parted from her, looking between her eyes as he cupped her face in silence. He brushed the pad of his thumb against the corner of her lips before he cropped his hand and headed passed her.

* * * * * *

With the shower now running, Ajax removed his clothes before he stepped in under the running water. He tilted back his head with his eyes shut as he tried to clear his thoughts of her. He poured shampoo into his hand and rubbed the stuff through his dark hair. He could almost feel her smooth dainty fingers running over his wet muscular frame, all the way down to his hips. He braced his hands against the shower wall and hung his head down with heavy breaths. You're an idiot. Fancy letting her go. What if she does choose Mason over you? you're not exactly a competition. All the girls seem to prefer the bad boys, and you're far from it. You're boring her no doubt. Ajax clenched his jaw and ran his hand angrily down his face to snap himself out of it, and to wipe away the soapy water that began to run down from his hair.

Image He didn't even feel like going to the party anymore. His entire room reminded him of her, and he felt terrible for what had happened, but it had to be done for her. He managed to throw on a casual outfit that hung up in his closet, and In minutes he was freshened up for the evening, and out of the door without another thought.

He never regretted that night they shared together, but he wished it was much more romantic for both of them. Somewhere much more special than just a drunken tumble in his bedroom, but it wasn't just sex to him. It was being close to her that he had wanted. A moment to have her all to himself.

He grabbed two beers once there with the others and began to chug one of them down in hopes that it would lighten his mood because right now, feeling like this wasn't the mood to be in at a damn party. Great timing Ajax. he thought to himself, wiping his mouth with the back of his wrist as he looked around the beach.

He watched briefly as His sister stood to talk to Wes and laughing. It was good to see her being herself again after being almost damned to an eternity of wandering the underworld, trying to atone for something that hadn't happened without influence and manipulation. She could finally be happy again.

Ajax placed his other bottle on the sand beside his feet and got the fire going before taking a seat on one of the wooden logs laying by the warm flames. He sat there in silence for a moment or two, just enjoying the quiet serenity of the evening. It wouldn't be long before music flowed, along with some party games for them to all join in on. He glanced around the beach one more time, looking for Duke.

Image He had a sleep in which meant he wasted half the day away. From there he was zealous to be productive throughout the remainder and that meant busying himself by creating a weapon or two and spending the day in his workshop. Duke didn't visit the hall once as he had a mini-fridge with premade meals for these sort of days. He almost missed the announcement for the party entirely and it did slip from his mind once or twice. It was only when he sat down on his wooden bench, sleek with sweat and sipping water to rehydrate himself he realized the time. Most the chores were done. He supposed he could go to the fire.

Duke went into the shower that was probably well overdue and got changed. He was in no hurry to get there as the parties usually lasted for a couple of hours then the numbers started to gradually dwindle away and he was one of the earlier dwindlers. Except for the last fire where he actually got taken away by making a sand castle.

Both the Valises were there which was a good sign. It meant Alex was ready to have fun and be a free spirit again but Ajax...it's like they traded places. What was weighing on his mind so heavily. Duke grabbed himself a beer and approached the son of Zeus sitting next to him on the log. "Hey, did I miss much at breakfast?" Obviously Duke missed something because Alex was deemed innocent and Hades guilty, that should have been a dream for the siblings.

Duke pat Ajax's shoulder. Hard as it was, it was important to let some things go and try to adapt to the environment. And tonight was a party.

"You know I noticed Alex has all these personalized items, her sword and necklace. What if we made you something. Something fit for the future ruler?" He was well aware Ajax didn't need gifts or toys to feel better, nor could it fill any void he was feeling but didn't rulers stand out for their qualities and special possessions? Duke sipped on his beer certain Ajax and him were in for a long night if the alcohol didn't improve their moods. "It might not be from Zeus himself but we can try."

Duke wrinkled his nose a little. The smell of the beach was one he couldn't decipher how he felt about. The barbeque however...that was pure pleasure. "I might see if I can speed the process of food up. Want to see a master chef?" Duke grinned. If Ajax sat around all night gazing into the fire, that'd be nothing but an invitation to drown in his thoughts.

He hovered over the barbeque. "Do you mind if I..." The cookers moved aside and Duke touched the BBQ turning up the heat. "Here." Duke threw a raw burger underarm at Ajax very maturely. "Fry that with some voltage." He chuckled and used the spatula to flip the cooking food around.

Son of Zeus || Hex: Green Outfit for Party

Image "Hey, did I miss much at breakfast?" Duke's voice broke his concentration from the flames of the fire. Thank the Gods it was Duke that found him because he wasn't sure if he'd be able to tolerate anyone else at this point, especially not those who thrived from the very sight of drama. Where could he begin with that question?

As good as a mate Duke was, Ajax didn't want to keep piling his problems onto him all the time, even if he said he didn't mind. He kept it brief. "We're on a break for now." he knew he didn't have to say much else as Duke would understand exactly who he meant. "Oh and... one of the new campers riled Andy up to the point of Andy almost killing her."

Duke patted his shoulder. The situation couldn't exactly be reversed anyway, and it wasn't like it was a nightmare that he could eventually wake up from, so there was no point in wallowing in self-pity about what he could have done to prevent it from happening. Even though for a while he had a hunch, part of him still hoped that he was just being paranoid. Anyway, at least his friend was here. Ajax could also count on him to help cheer him up which was better for both of them. Funky moods were no place for anywhere that requested fun. "You know I noticed Alex has all these personalized items, her sword, and necklace. What if we made you something. Something fit for the future ruler? It might not be from Zeus himself but we can try."

Ajax laughed. "Please don't start addressing me as 'your majesty.' and I don't know... you know I'm not much for gifts, but I am curious as to what you may have in mind.."

"I might see if I can speed the process of food up. Want to see a master chef?" Duke grinned, and Ajax laughed.

"Good, because I'm starving. Go for it." He stood up from where he was sat as Duke hovered over the barbeque.

"Do you mind if I..." The cookers moved aside and Duke touched the BBQ turning up the heat. "Here." Duke threw a raw burger underarm at Ajax, who could it, even if he did almost drop it. "Fry that with some voltage." He chuckled and used the spatula to flip the cooking food around.

"Oh, so it's a cook-off now, huh?" he chuckled too and began to roast the raw meat in his hands. It began to smoke, and in no time it had turned out as a deep brown color which he slapped it on between two baps, covering it in his favorite condiment... Tomato sauce! he made an absolute masterpiece out of it, towering it a little with bits of salad and those little soft square cheeses. "Now look at that." He held it up, admiring it. "I call it...." he rummaged through his brain looking for the correct name/title to give it. "Well... I don't know what to call it, but I know I want to eat it." he chuckled, taking a bite out of it and moaning. It tasted so damn good too, but probably not as good as what Duke was cooking up. He would be ready for seconds.

Andy was about turn the handle and go back inside when she heard music just about blare behind her. Her face scrunched up slightly at the sheer volume of the party. She never remembered it being that loud. Who in the hell was in control of the volume? Maybe it was her subconscious telling her to just go inside or was it telling her to go to the party?

"It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life. For me. And I'm feeling good."

Andy's heart skipped a beat when she heard Daniel's—Keith's voice. What in the hell was he doing? She slowly spun around on her heels, glancing over her shoulder in the direction of the music. "Keith?"

He did some showy moves, flipping the microphone and kicking in beat with the song. "Oh freedom is mine, and I know how I feel." Andy's brows furrowed in confusion. Maybe it was everything that's been going on but nothing was sinking in. Was this some cruel prank that Keith thought would be funny? Was this Daniel? Had she officially lost her mind and was hallucinating?

"Andy, if you don't go to the party, who's gonna control your brother?" Daniel then extended his arms toward her expectantly.

"Daniel?!" her voice cracked. Andy ran toward him, jumping over the steps down from her porch. She practically leaped into his arms, nearly knocking him over when she collided into him. She held him so tight, that he'd probably complain about not being able to breathe but she didn't care.

"Hi, sis," he said quietly as he held her.

"How are you here? You died!" Tears fell from her eyes, ruining her makeup... again. But she couldn't care less. Gods did she miss him. "I can't believe you're here. I've missed you so much," she whispered.

"Now come on, things to do, people to see. 50 dollars says I can get 90% of camp's population to dance."

Daniel tried to pull her away and hold her at an arm's length. But Andy quickly wrapped her arms back around him, shaking her head. "Just one more minute, please?" She practically begged. Andy had no idea how time passed for him or what it was like. But for her, it was an eternity. Over a year without her brother. He could spare another moment or two before they went to the party. Gods knew she needed it.

Andy sighed as she finally let him free from her grasp, almost scared that if she let go of him, he'd vanish. Like it all was an illusion in her head. "Did you need to complete that outfit with a big long fluffy coat?"

She managed to actually laugh as she ran her fingers under her eyes, trying her best to fix her makeup. "It's not like I'm wearing a sequin jumpsuit," she quipped in response. Gods how long had it been since she had a normal lighthearted conversation? It felt nice. As Andy and Daniel walked side by side to the party, it almost felt like some of the weight had been lifted from her shoulders. For a brief moment she could breathe. But unfortunately, that didn't last long.

Andy's paced slowed when they reached the party as her brother quickly made his way toward Mason. On any other day she would have been right beside him but they still weren't talking. And if she smelled Eve's perfume on him it'd make her nauseous. She stood there awkwardly at the edge of the tree line scanning the people who had arrived. But before she saw anyone of worth a red head popped up right in front of her with a smile. She remembered the girl from earlier, gossiping about Andy's personal life like it was some trash TV. Suffice it to say, she did not return the smile.

"Hey. My name is Penelope, but you can call me Nelly." Andy didn't care. Maybe under different circumstances she would have been her old bubbly self. But not now. It was hard enough for Andy to bite her tongue the first time. "Um . . I am sorry if what I said earlier this morning hurt your feelings. I am known to say what I am thinking and it's gotten me into plenty of trouble. Just know that whatever my actions are in the future, I would never intentionally hurt anyone. So yeah sorry."

"Just leave my personal life out of it," Andy said before she felt an arm drape across her shoulder. Some of her tension faded away when she saw it was Trinity, even managing a soft smile.

"Look who decided to show." Andy rolled her eyes playfully at the comment. Like Trinity would have let her stay locked up in her cabin. "Hey Nelly, I'm Trinity." She gave Nelly a firm handshake, which Andy could only imagine was far more aggressive than it looked. She had to resist the urge to laugh. Trin wasn't the subtle type, one of the many reasons they were friends.

Trinity turned her attention to Andy. "Did you want to get a drink, Ando?" She was doing what any good best friend would do, getting her out of an awkward encounter. In time she'd forget Nelly's comments, but it was still fresh and she was in no mood to fake friendly. Trin's head then leaned toward hers as she spoke lowly, "You good?"

Andy held her friend's gaze and gave such a minor shake of her head, anyone else might have missed it. But it didn't seem Trinity was good either. The arrival of Wes caused the blonde to instantly tense. "I know that look," Andy said quietly.

But before she was able to tug Trinity away toward the drinks table, or just far enough away from a private conversation, Nelly had more to say. "Hello, Trinity. Nice evening huh? I got in last night so that's why I am late. I am still learning the ropes here so if you have any recommendations, I'll gladly take them. Is this ya'll's first year here or have both of you been here before?"

Andy's arm wrapped around the middle of Trinity's back, her hand gently grasping her friend's side. "Sorry, not to be rude." Although she kind of did. "But we need a moment in private."

Without anything else to add to the present conversation, she led Trin away, slowly walking them toward the drinks. Which, coincidentally, was where Wes was. "Do you think maybe you're being a little hard on him?" Andy asked, nodding her head toward Wes who's back was toward them. "He never questions you about your male friends." She saw the look Trinity made when she saw him with Alex. She understood her jealously, it was natural. But Wes had better tastes than Alex. "I doubt he has a dishonest bone in his body. He's arguably one of the nicest guys at camp. He's crazy about you... And he makes you happy." With her final words, Andy slowed them both to a stop, turning to face Trinity.

"Don't be dumb like me and ruin a good thing." She gave Trin's arm a reassuring squeeze with a smile. "I'm going to go take a shot... or like five," Andy joked. "But you should go talk to him. 5 bucks says, he's already forgiven you." Not that Trinity was in the wrong, she was entitled to her own feelings. But if she tried to apologize, Wes was already over it. He was too infatuated with her to stay mad.

Andy retreated, walking backwards towards the refreshments. She motioned her thumb toward Wes's back and gave Trinity a wink. She then spun around and went to the far end of the drinks table, giving Wes and, in particular, Alex, a wide birth. Have a good time. Don't think about it and don't get too drunk. Easy. Then it seemed the second that all went through her head, it went out the window. Andy took two shots of whatever was out, then grabbed a bear. No more.

She started toward the bonfire and almost froze when she saw the back of Ajax. Andy took a deep breath, not wanting to divert her path. She felt like that would be obvious and someone would notice, someone like Mason. But he wasn't dumb and probably could tell without anything being said. Andy slowly approached and took a seat on a different log than the one he and Duke sat on that was a couple feet away. After taking a couple sips of her beer, she sparred a glance toward Ajax as he stood up to follow after his friend. When she caught his gaze, Andy gave him a slight wave of her fingers and a brief smile before he left. It was weird. They were so close but felt miles apart. Any other party she'd be right there beside him, maybe even sitting in his lap if he had his way. But, now they were like strangers.

Evelyn did not seem pleased about Sylas asking her for a favor. And here he thought she'd love the opportunity to have the upper hand, a moment to revel in the fact that he came to her for help. Regardless of how minor his ask was. After a moment she took the bottle. "I would but you didn't even say please." Her smug expression made Sylas chuckle. "In fact, you should be begging me for this small little favor of yours. Or at least make your case of why I should help you," she added as she hid the bottle behind her back.

Sylas took the bait stepping forward to close a little bit of the distance between them. "Please, Evelyn, would you satisfy the demon in me by charming that little bottle?" His brow raised while the rest of his face remained fairly serious. He leaned his head in so that his lips were near her ear as he spoke softly. "I'll make a fair trade for your services." Sylas pulled his head back just enough so he could hold her gaze. "I'll give you one question," he said as he held up his index finger. "Any question and I'll answer it, honestly. No lies, omissions or ambiguity."

After a moment or so, Evelyn withdrew the bottle from behind her back and held it out to him. "Our little secret."

"My lips are sealed," he grinned as he took the bottle from her delicate fingers.

"Don't get too excited. Really wanting somebody varies on intention." Sylas nodded his head and gave her a silent salute with the top of the bottle to his forehead. "I look forward to seeing who you're after. Good luck."

Sylas might have added a comment about how he didn't need luck, or something else around those lines. Instead he gave her a wink and headed toward the bonfire where he planned to announce his fun activity. But then he saw the big idiot arrive with none other than his sister, which temporarily diverted his attention.

The fresh air from their walk to the beach cleared Sloane's head. Being lightheaded and dizzy was not an ideal condition while drinking. Not that she was the drinking type. She stopped just outside the tree line, taking everything in. Nothing too crazy was going on yet, some dancing and drinking, but fairly calm. Maybe she'd be lucky enough to wonder about for an hour then disappear back to Liam's cabin, away from everyone. She was about to take a step forward in the general direction of the bonfire when she caught sight of her brother beelining straight for them. "He's coming this way," Sloane said under her breath toward Liam, but didn't divert her eyes from her brother's fiery and direct gaze.

Before Sloane could even try to grab Liam's arm and divert them in a different direction, Sylas was there. "Sloane. Liam." He gave his best fake smile as he grabbed Liam's shoulder. "How's the new roomie situation going?" he asked with a grin and a tight squeeze of the brute's deltoid. While they were still in physical contact, Sylas let his powers flow into Liam. Kick her out. You don't want Sloane. She's a burden. Pathetic. After a moment when nothing happened, he moved his hand from Liam to point at his sister. "You used your powers on him... didn't you?"

Sloane shifted where she stood, her fingers twiddling and tugging at the sleeves of her shirt. She didn't say anything, just sideways glanced up at Liam before looking back to her brother. Sylas shook his finger as he laughed smugly. "She's a smart one isn't she?... Makes me wonder what she sees in a big idiot like you?"

Sloane quickly spun on her heels, moving between the two. She turned her back to Sylas as she pressed her hands to Liam's abdomen, trying to stop him from lashing out. "Don't. He's just trying to get under your skin. If you to hit him first, you'll look like the bad guy," She said quietly as she looked up at him. Sloane wouldn't be able to stop Liam if he was set on murdering Sylas in front of everyone. But she hoped he'd listen to her rather than her brother.

"Yes, tame your beast. It's only a matter of time before your control over him fades. And then what, dear sister?"

"I don't control him," Sloane replied coldly, before looking over her shoulder toward her brother. "I'm not you."

"How adorable. You asked his permission didn't you?" Sylas shook his head, laughing softly as he tossed the bottle in his hand. "She's obviously taking advantage of you big boy. You fought her battles, give up your home... even let her worm her way into your mind willingly. Is she that good in bed?"

Sloane's jaw clenched as her gaze moved to the ground and her hands fell from Liam's chest. Her cheeks began to flush, getting so red it nearly outshined her lipstick. "Who are we kidding? Sloane here is a prude." Sylas raised his hand to stroke his sister's cheek with his index finger. "I doubt she's ever been kissed." He chuckles before wrapping his arm around Sloane's shoulders. "Let's change that, shall we?"

Her eyes went wide as Sylas tugged her away from Liam. Although his face was friendly and he appeared to be walking with her amiably, his grip on her arm was strong, almost challenging her to struggle against him. She was barely able to keep up with his long strides, frequently glancing over her shoulder toward Liam. She didn't want him to start a fight, not here in front of everyone. That'd give her brother what he wanted. He was going to continue to push Liam and herself until one of them caved.

Sylas came to a halt near the bonfire, but didn't release his hold on Sloane, instead leading them both to step up on a log. He raised his free hand to his lips letting out a loud whistle. Once he had everyone's attention, he gave a charming smile before speaking. "I don't know about all of you, but my sister and I think that what this party really needs... Is a game!" He holds up the bottle, wiggling it slightly.

He jumps down from the log, leaving Sloane to slowly step down on her own while he walks around the fire. "I'm sure you've all heard of 7 minutes in heaven." Sylas smirked. "I was content with a simple game of spin the bottle, but Sloane's itching for something a little more exciting." He slowed his pace until he was standing before Andy. "Andy, would you mind conjuring up something a little more... private?"

Andy slowly sat up right, tapping her fingers against her beer. She didn't want to be a part of this game, but Sylas didn't look like he was going to let anyone get away with sitting out. She sighed, before extending her left hand with her palm up. As her hand raised, a closet rose up from the ground on a farther edge of the beach, a hundred or so feet away.

Sylas smiled as he turned back around to face the rest of the campers. "I'm sure you all are familiar with the rules." He tapped the brim of the bottle to his bottom lip as he scanned everyone. "Now who should go first?" At one point he slowed down before Sloane. "It'd be unfair to give it to you first. After all, this was your idea... You'll just have to wait your turn." He grinned looking between her and Liam.

But then he spun around and walked directly up to a particular blonde, that he was very interested to learn more about. Eve. Sylas flipped the bottle in his hand, before holding it out to her. "The honor is yours."

Sloane crossed her arms over her chest. She hated when he did stuff like this, spun things around on her. He made it seem like this was her master plan, so if she left... Well, she couldn't. With a sigh, she took a seat on a log as far from her brother as possible. This was going to be a long night.

"You've never allowed one arm to get you down, though, which is pretty damn awesome if you ask me."

Wes chuckled softly. "Well, thank you. I couldn't very well bitch about something that was my own fault, now could I?"

Alex hooked her arm in his as they headed through the woods toward the party. She seemed happy at the little decorations of lights leading to the beach and the prospect of a party. It did always seem to lighten moods for most of the campers. Wes just hoped that it might be an opportunity for him and Trinity to... move forward maybe. If that was still an option. He hated it that she was mad at him for something he didn't do. Or maybe he did and he was just too much of an idiot to realize it. Wes just hoped, whatever it was, he could fix it.

"Let's make this a night to remember."

He smiled toward her, then quickly ducked away when she tried to tickle him. "Woah, none of that." He laughed, holding his index finger up in contradiction.

Wes slowly trailed after Alex toward the concession table, where there was an ample amount of food and a variety of drinks available. He hadn't quite realized how completely famished he was until he smelled the food. He wasted no time fixing up a burger and snagging a beer to drink along with it. He barely ate all day with his stomach in constant knots. Now with food in front of him, he had to fight to urge to shove it down in a single bite.

"If there's any dancing... you going to ask Trinity?"

He froze with the burger held to his lips. "I want to... I just... I don't know if she'd agree."

Wes took a large bite out of his food as he turned around to observe the party. He froze, mouth full, when he saw Trinity standing a few feet in front of him. He stood there... awkwardly as he tried to quickly chew and swallow the the food. "Trinity... You look gorgeous." Wes looked awkwardly between his burger, beer and then Trinity. He quickly set what he held onto the table and dusted his hands off on his pants. "Can I get you a drink?"

Shortly after he asked, Sylas made a loud show beckoning everyone to join in on a game. Wes didn't know how he felt about partaking. He didn't need another reason for her to be mad at him. He slowly took a step toward Trinity, motioning toward the bonfire. "Did you want to join? I wouldn't kiss anyone... just stand there awkwardly for 7 minutes." He quickly continued adding another comment. "I mean, you can kiss whoever you want though... Or we could just walk around. Or I could leave you alone. I just want you to enjoy yourself... to be happy."

Gods was he putting his foot in his mouth. Wes awkwardly chewed on his bottom lip. He didn't know how to fill the silence, so instead he grabbed another beer. He popped it open, then held it out toward her, almost like a silent peace offering. He was content to wait until she decided his fate for the evening.

7 minutes in heaven

1. The person who receives the bottle, spins it and it will land on whomever they want. Doesn't have to be for romantic reasons, just whomever they desire.

2. They are locked in the closet for 7 minutes.

3. Afterwards the person who the bottle landed on (not who spun it) picks who goes next.

disclaimer: I suggest writing a collab between the two characters going into the closet, so that it isn't a bunch of back and forth posts and so it doesn't take forever for one round. It could be easy enough to include the spinning of the bottle, time in the closet and choosing the next person in a single collab.

Any questions, let me know :)

Image They'd talk later about the details. He mentally promised. For now the priority was for Andy and him to have fun and own the party.

Peer pressure mixed with a dash of guilt trip worked every time. But he couldn't revel in the moment because some different faces approached him. "Good evening, um, Keith? Did something happen to you? You look different," Heath observed.

Mason outright laughed and left with the quiet girl which seemed to distract Heath entirely.

"Sorry, not use to seeing my sister dance," Heath explained. Daniel looked between the dancing pair and the brother. Daniel nodded, seeing it already. "I don't know if you know this, but Iliana and I aren't blood related. My father adopted her after her own biological father was killed. Anyway, back to that question?"

Well that was just a casual bomb to drop on his head. Daniel blinked stunned Heath was able to say it all without emotion. "I guess I'm sorry to hear if you are?" Daniel said uncertainly. But as Heath seemed eager to press on, Daniel adopted a less sympathetic and uncertain attitude with a clap of his hand. "Back to that question though, I'm glad you've noticed my new look. A lot has happened. I caught the love bug, lost my virginity, tried make up, Ethan's serenity inducement is having max effect." The things he listed off probably served as a slap to the son of Athena's pride and intelligence. But he didn't lie to be harmful, he lied to be bluntly evasive. "It's a long story and the party's not the place for it. But you can call me Daniel if you like."

"Hey, Cherise's boy toy - grab us some beers and get some good music going!" A girl called out. Daniel frowned at her charm but obeyed one request, the music was something he was happy to provide. Something upbeat to get some head bopping or toe-tapping from the reluctant movers and dancers to fully indulge.

Daniel was about to head over and grab four beers when another girl approached Heath and him. “I get to see Mason dancing? Is it my birthday?” Was a blonde's way of entering the conversation. “You know, I’m super impressed with you. I thought you’d be over there all growly and ripping the two of them apart.” Was the guy really like that? He seemed to have a bit more composure than that but when it came to sisters he supposed anything could happen.

Daniel watched his mini dare take place with very tame actions and moves. He also saw Cherise and another girl with Ethan, dancing like clowns, bringing a warm smile to his lips. She was absolutely beautiful and carefree. “And you, I would have bet serious money on that guy having no friends.” Daniel glanced to the blonde. Normally that was a pretty safe bet. “Between you and me, I think he fancies himself as some kind of big scary wolf.” Daniel grinned as she did. Also, half accurate.

"I always thought a lone biker,” he jested back.

“I’m Eve.”

"Daniel," he said in turn, offering the girl a smile. "So you know Mason? Well...relatively?" he asked, wobbling his hand. The son of Hades managed to prove unpredictable time and time again.

He didn't get quality greeting time with the girl before a loud whistle pierced the party. Daniel turned towards it waiting for the big announcement from Evelyn's intimidating boyfriend. "I don't know about all of you, but my sister and I think that what this party really needs... Is a game!" A part of him wanted to whistle and applaud but that might show too much enthusiasm. "I'm sure you've all heard of 7 minutes in heaven. I was content with a simple game of spin the bottle, but Sloane's itching for something a little more exciting." Ah a modern day Janet. There was no denying 7 had the potential to be a lot more exciting. For the people locked in heaven. Or a small space for to feel claustrophobic. It was all in perception.

The dude crept around and bestowed the bottle upon Eve. "The honor is yours."

"Let the games begin," he muttered to himself, rocking back and forth on his heels with boy like excitement. However, seeing as Eve would soon be busy cozying up to whoever, Daniel looked around for some new company. The company he sought was like being doused in a cold shower. There were a few redheads on camp but fewer with the aura of Evelyn.

Daniel gravitated towards the girl who may not be locked in a closet until her turn and wasn't busy busting moves. He hooked his arm through hers and gestured off for a little walk. They could talk wherever she pleased, she wasn't the kind you could drag away. But he'd rather lead her a couple paces off, remaining in party vicinity of course.

He unwound his arm from hers and stood in front of her. There was something nerve-racking about standing before her as someone new in a sense with the whole crossover identity issues. He grinned bashfully and held out his arms. "Problem solved. Hi, I'm Daniel." He reached out for a shake. "I'm the son of Hecate, most my injuries are self-inflicted. I have a debatably bad habit of playing with illusions and conjurations." He pulled down his collar, exposing his neck and shoulder, "Wendigo conjuration," he rolled up a sleeve and pointed to the bite on his arm, "zombie," then he pulled up his top showing his abdomen, "crossbow," he smirked to Evelyn. They both knew the latter well.

He tapped to his last big scar. "And spear. This is the one that killed me," he explained softly. That part wasn't so humorous. Hecate had brought him back but Daniel was deceased for a long time. "Thank you for your help, Evelyn," he added sincerely. Without her, he'd still be the awkward geek that had no concept of his powers that lived inside a shell. That was the worst thing about Keith, otherwise, he wasn't a bad persona - but Daniel being Daniel again, he was beyond grateful and appreciative for that. How could words express it? He kissed her cheek. "You look beautiful by the way."

Daniel gestured to the refreshments. "Can I get the lady a drink? Theeen maybe steal a dance?" he suggested, quirking his brow up for her assessment. Slender Man liked to move about so he probably wouldn't pay attention to his redhead for a while.

Image Somewhere inside Mason was hoping for a rejection then he could report to Daniel he tried and failed. Iliana's consent was equally as pleasing and surprising though. He kept his moves small to avoid startling the girl, that and he wasn't big on dancing. At one stage he placed a hand on her waist and grabbed her hand to sway them about but beyond that, not much of a graze came of their dance. Mason gave Iliana a twirl or two. "Not so bad is it?" he asked her. Mason caught his booty call with Heath and Daniel. He smirked at her raising his brows and tilting his chin up.

Their dance wasn't long lasting which was for the best. Sylas whistled, managing to reach beyond the speakers. Mason shuffled closer to hear him speak. He proposed a game of 7 minutes in heaven - him or Sloane whoever, it made no difference. Mason hung onto the words waiting for the catch but it was a regular game of 7 minutes in heaven. He rolled it over in his head if it was worth joining then ultimately decided why the hell not. There was no better way to get to know your camp buddies than being locked in a closet with them. Mason poured himself a shot of vodka, downed it then picked up a beer along the way. He felt in his jacket pocket to grab a cigarette. He patted over another pocket then sighed, muttering out a curse. Mason forgot them. But he didn't really want to double back to his cabin until he saw who the poor soul that would be trapped in a closet with Eve was. At least her powers would make them feel lucky.

He didn't know if the willing participants were merging together or what as there wasn't that much movement, but he managed to bump into Alex. Hard. Rather than give her a look or words that said how badly he wanted her to drop dead, he remained stone-faced. "Open your eyes much? You gonna decapitate me too now?" He looked her over. "Got an object you can blame another curse on?"

Mason kept walking not caring for her reply and sat on one of the vacant logs. People could say what they wanted but there was a lack of accountability on the Gods and Alex's side so yeah, Mason was still pissed and if the bottle managed to land on her, he'd happily strangle her.

Image "Please don't start addressing me as 'your majesty.' and I don't know... you know I'm not much for gifts, but I am curious as to what you may have in mind.."

"Whatever your majesty prefers," Duke joked. Honestly, he couldn't see himself addressing Ajax in that formal of a manner even when he became superior in Olympian standards. They'd have to find a more comfortable title when the time came. And for now, Duke let the gift comment slide.

As the cook off began and Duke piled the cooked ones to the side, Ajax got his attention. "Now look at that." Duke looked up to his masterpiece of a burger and grinned. "I call it...." Duke waited in suspense for the perfect name for such a burger. "Well... I don't know what to call it, but I know I want to eat it."

Duke chuckled and nodded. "Probably the best choice."

Ajax bit into it and made noises like the cameras were rolling and he was advertising his burger, making Duke give him another amused glance. Duke even looked around, to the left and right and over his shoulders pointedly. "You done? I mean you've had a burger before right? Watch..." Everybody did it differently but Duke placed a burger on a bun, put the chilly sauce on the meat, showed Ajax a whole sliced piece of cheese then popped it on the burger, then sliced letters, tomato and some onion bits."Annnd" Duke popped one more hamburger on it, topped it with sauce then stepped back, compressing the burger. He was not a fussy eater but he was a man that worked up an appetite and loved his meat.

Duke left the cooking station, covering his mouth as bits of lettuce fell from his mouth. "I got a bit ambitious," he admitted. "But revisiting this gift...Do you want a shield? Warhammer?" Sure the boys knew each other but he didn't want to waste resources on something Ajax didn't use or admire at least. "That's why I'm kinda hoping you tell me the design details and we work from there. When you're ready."

Duke had another mouthful of food when an announcement of 7 minutes in heaven happened. He shook his head automatically. If people wanted to be intimate there were actual roomie cabins for that and better, it could be with a person you actually liked. The games and minds of his peers were unfathomable. Logic and the straight road sat right in front of them and they wanted to go over the river rapids. "You going to join? I mean technically you don't even have to do anything..." He didn't know why he was trying to nudge Ajax towards the game. Probably because he hadn't played a group game with campers in ages and it'd be a nice change. It'd distract him from his thoughts.

No one was more surprised then Ethan when Cherise and Rae pulled him in for a dance. For one thing, I never learned to dance. His teen years hadn't been spent around others his age. Well, he had gone to a few of Heath's families' 'get togethers' where his aunts tried to teach him a few moves. But sadly he had two left feet in that sense. However, Ethan did try his best to keep up with both girls. He looked for some assistance though, particularly from Heath. He caught sight of him with Keith still.

"Hey! Heath! I could use a hand here!"

Heath had been waiting for Keith's explanation when he heard his friend. He couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. However, he was smart enough to know that to get involved would be trouble.

"Sorry Ethan. Man up okay? You'll manage."

Ethan groaned and turned back to the ladies.

"Sorry if I am not good at this. Ya'll are great though. Try not to tire me out too much okay?"

Heath in the mean time turned back to Keith, who's real name was Daniel it seemed. It look like the explanation was too complicated for him tell him. He raised his eyebrows though at some of the things he said though. This Daniel was vastly different then Keith. However all thoughts exited his mind when Eve showed up. He pretty much ignored her. That was his mistake though when the girl touched him. He also had been looking back at Mason and Iliana and the sudden urge to separate them nearly overwhelmed him. He looked away though. His stubborn nature kicked in and he refuse to listen to his brotherly instincts. He saw Daniel greet Eve before leaving. Not wanting to be alone with Eve, he walked off and ended up near the food and watched Ajax and Duke make burgers. It was very impressive.

It wasn't long when the dancing stopped though. Iliana had been watching Ethan with Cherise and the new redhead herself. She was extremely concern for him for she could tell he was overwhelmed. She had also seen Eve around her brother and the urge to go over there and get between them was strong. A frown appeared on her face and her amber eyes flared up. Her thoughts were interrupted when Mason addressed her.

"Not so bad is it?" he asked.

Looking back at him she shook her head. He was a good dancer, but it was hard to enjoy the dance when so many thoughts filtered through her head. Luckily the dance ended and Mason soon left her side. It was at that moment that Sylas announced a game to play. She never heard of that before. Did Sylas's sister really come up with the idea? She didn't look too thrilled. Iliana was so focused on the two that she almost missed the interaction with Mason and Alex. That was the one thing she had been trying to prevent. While they were too far away for her to hear what they said, Iliana moved closer and caught Alex's annoyance. However the demigoddess soon left and approached Pete and another girl. Iliana looked around and saw Trinity and Wes. She decided to stay out of that. She then remembered Heath still had her tablet. She found him near Ajax and Duke. Heath smiled when he saw his sister.

"Did you enjoy yourself?"

Relief was evident in his voice. Iliana shook her hand a bit, which meant 'okay'. She then grabbed her tablet from him before asking if he was okay and she saw Eve with him.

"I doing better now. Did Sylas make some sort of announcement?"

~Yes, he said his sister Sloane wanted to play 7 Minutes in Heaven. I don't think it was her idea though. She didn't look too thrilled. I don't know what this game is, but it involves a bottle and a closet. Andy conjured one up it seems. Eve got the bottle.~

Heath groaned. He knew what the game was. Never played it. He immediately thought of Ethan though. The guy was not a fan of tight spaces.

"Concept of the game is simple. Eve will spin the bottle and whoever it lands on, the two of them will spend 7 minutes doing anything inside of a closet. After that, the person whom the bottle land on will pick the next person to spin the bottle."

What was Sylas trying to accomplish here? Trouble of some kind it seemed. And picking Eve seemed to only confirm it. Iliana was concerned too, only for Alex though. If Mason got picked, there was a chance he could end up with Alex. What would he do then? He would dare hurt in front of the other campers right? Heath saw concern on his sisters features.

"What is wrong Lia?"

~I am afraid for Alex. I don't think she's safe here, not from Mason at least.~

Heath nodded and whispered, "I think so too, but Mason isn't dumb. He wouldn't try something now with all the campers around."

Iliana nodded and walked off. Heath sighed and decided to check on Ethan.

Ethan was relieved when the dance ended and Sylas made the announcement. He quickly left Cherise and Rae though. He knew about the game but was not interested in playing it at all. He decided to move a ways from the others and closer to the beach. He sat on a bench and this was where Heath found him.

"Not interested in going to Heaven huh?"

"Definitely not. Where is Iliana?"

"Doing her own thing. She's got a lot on her mind."

Ethan nodded and the two sat in silence.

Iliana decided to play the game. She wanted to warn Alex, but saw that the young lady kissing Pete. She ended up sitting alone watching others.

Nelly was by herself too. The words of Andy and Trinity was still ringing in her ears. She figured the best course of action now was to watch and observe and do her best to keep her thoughts to herself. She definitely wanted to play 7 Minutes in Heaven. She did have to google an explanation of it on her cell phone though. She was curious to see who Eve would pick. She had no idea who she would pick though if she got a turn.

Son of Zeus || Hex: Green Outfit for Party

The distraction with Duke was good, and he hadn't even noticed Andy at first, but all he could give her was a small smile at the time before he chose to walk away to rejoin his friend. No doubt the girl felt just as bad in this with him, but he needed her to think of what she wanted. He had always wanted the best for her, even when he hadn't given her the time of day that she deserved. In conclusion, as far as he was concerned... he sucked at being boyfriend material.

But what the hell did she see in Mason? he was just like the snake of Eden, whispering words of temptation into the ears of those who chose to listen.

There was just nothing more Ajax could say to her at this point. He wished he could comfort her and say what she needed and wanted to hear, but there was nothing, and he couldn't exactly get angry with her since he knew he hadn't done right by her on so many occasions. He hated himself. Ajax had said everything he needed to. Besides, she'd be fine. A strong beautiful girl like that would always survive no matter what life threw at her.

Image With evidence right in front of them, it was clear that Duke was the better cook with that masterpiece of a burger. "Show off." Ajax told him, grabbing a drink from the cooler as some game was announced.

"You going to join? I mean technically you don't even have to do anything..."

"No, I'm good. You can go and join in, though. If you want." He couldn't bear the thought of being locked in some damn room/closet with someone he didn't like. AKA; Mason. He didn't know anyone else well enough to make a judgment, though he could probably guess about a few. It wasn't like they hid their actions anyway, it just seemed like they were proud of being a complete arsehole with their heads so far up their own ass that they were blinded by their own bullshit.

He waited until Duke was gone before he placed himself back on the log by the fire with a second burger for the night, all while thinking about everything that had gone on these past two years while being here.

With the other campers a distance behind him playing the game they chose to play this year, Ajax jumped when he felt a hand touching his shoulder. He turned his head, his eyes resting on Zeus. "....It's good to see you, but... why are you here?" he was hoping that he hadn't come to warn them about something because there was never one single day in this damn place where they could just be normal for once.

"I want to take you and Alex to mount Olympus with me where you can stay for as long as you wish. This camp has grown to be toxic, and I don't want my children to be part of it right now. You will not miss your training as Ares will personally see to that. As will I." he promised.

"And if I don't want to come?"

"Then that is your choice. I just also want to be the father that I should have been years ago. I want to help, and I need your help with Hades."

Alex looked down and nodded. He couldn't bring himself to mention that he had lost his powers, so there was no chance in hell he could help there. "why help with Hades anyway? he is prisoned in Tartarus, isn't he?"

"Yes, for now. He'll end up finding a way to escape eventually, and probably release all of Tartarus with him."

In that place, it was only for the evilest souls of all.

When was this bullshit going to end between the Gods? It was a never-ending warzone, just like earth, but ten times worse.

Ajax took a deep breath and sighed. He was never too good with goodbyes.

"I'll speak to Al and then we'll let you know."

"Thank you." and with that, Zeus vanished, leaving a sparkle of Gold magic where he once stood. So he wasn't here in the flesh. He had used Hecates magic so he didn't need to leave entirely.

"I guess I should have dressed down for this party," Liv mumbled, and Pete’s attention snapped back to her. He settled himself on the sand next to her but with a lot less naturalness. He didn’t really understand the appeal of beaches, he was sure his jeans would have sand stuck in their seams for years to come.

“You dressed up?” He looked out towards the ocean trying to imagine it and failed. Girl’s like his sister and Alex who were all dolled up were looking for attention, he couldn’t imagine Liv doing the same. Which was why he was suffering sand for her. “I mean I guess you could’ve worn your nice pair of jeans?”

"It's fine. I'm used to it by now. I think I am learning that the less I respond, the more people leave me alone. The more I can train, and the less they do while they are all wrapped up in their ridiculous bullshit." Pete laughed. Certainly, from the outside it did all seem a bit ridiculous. The way his sister devoted her whole life to pushing people’s buttons, he could hardly believe he’d once been the same.

He gazed over at Liv where she was lounging comfortable against the sand, as opposed to him who hadn’t dared move from his upright posture. “Oh, I get it now. You want to win.” Trying to figure out was a nasty habit of Pete’s, and as he squinted across at Liv he was in the midst of putting it all together. “Or it’s more about being the best.”

"Have you ever been to the beach this late at night and actually get in the water? Not just drink and do dumb things like-" Sylas’ announcement about 7 minutes, reached them right on cue, as if she’d been able to see it coming. Perfectly illustrating her point about the ridiculousness of their peers. "The gods are probably looking down at us trying to figure out why we would stuff two people in a closet when there are perfectly good cabins to make out in."

He laughed. “And in my experience 7 minutes isn’t enough time to do any of the fun stuff.” He gazed out at the ocean considering her point, and half hoping her follow up comment wasn’t about actually swimming. Pete was a city kid, so he’d actually only been to the beach three times in his life, and all three times he’d been drunk and the beach had been shit. London wasn’t known for tropical weather and pristine beaches. It would’ve been easy to explain that to Liv, but the thing is, that felt a lot like sharing about himself. And he didn’t do that. So instead he shrugged, keeping to his honesty policy. “I’ve never swam at a beach.” He glanced over at her with a smirk, as a daughter of Poseidon he was sure that would rankle her. “Go ahead. Add me to the list of murder candidates.”

He glanced over to the game getting underway to see Eve jumping in the closet with Mason, of course. She always did get what she wanted. Liv’s question brought his attention back, "Which gal would you go into a closet with?" Now that was a leading question. He raised his eyebrows and made a thinking noise drawing it out, clearly she was trying to get something out of him.

Luckily he was saved from answering by an approaching brunette. He grinned and leaned towards Liv, making sure he was loud enough to be heard by Alex. “Well, certainly not this one, she’s all trouble.” It was a joke, but also the truth. His gut instinct was that Alex was going to be far more trouble than she was worth, but that didn’t stop him grabbing his beer in one hand and rising to his feet. He glanced down at Liv, “Sorry, but I suspect this one’s here for me.”

Alex greeted Liv before turning to him. "I really need to ask you something in private... some advice." Well, that was an intriguing request, causing him to quirk an eyebrow. However he’d been expecting to lead or be led away and was already moving away from Liv.

He took a swig from his beer and motioned with the bottle for her to lead the way. He turned back to Liv for a quick moment giving her a half nod. “Next time then.” He trailed along behind Alex, taking a seat beside her on the log, stretching out his legs. He gazed over Alex, taking in what little her outfit covered, she looked good all dressed up. “If you’re looking for honest outfit advice, yes, I do think that outfit is trying a little too hard. But I’m personally all for it.”

She didn’t seem impressed by the comment as she ignored him. "In truth... I just wanted to get you by yourself. I'm really glad you came tonight."

Pete raised an eyebrow at that confession as he caught Duke’s eye from across the campfire, he didn’t think the Valis protector would be impressed with this. Unable to help himself, with a smirk he leaned in Alex, curving around her to whisper in her ear, “I’m afraid you might be the only one who thinks that.”

Of course, Alex wouldn’t be led around like a toy doll, instead she surprised him by leaning in and pressing her lips to his. Of course, it didn’t take long for him to warm up to the kiss. His hand holding his beer came up to rest against her waist, the other one ran over her neck to twist through her hair. She tasted like girly shit.

Like all good things, eventually the kiss ended, and Pete leaned back on the log with a half-smile. Guess they now knew they had good chemistry. “Well, let’s do that again sometime.” He finished his beer and rose to his feet. On his way to the bin he just so happened to pass by Duke, such a coincidence. He paused to tap his empty bottle to the other boy’s shoulder. “Fuck, I forgot. I was supposed to ask for a date first wasn’t I?” He laughed as he walked away, “Maybe I’ll get it right next time.”

With a fresh bottle of beer in on hand and a lit cigarette in the other, Pete headed towards the beach where he’d seen Liv disappear. Of course, he hadn’t missed her rumble in the closet with Sylas, of all people. “I thought you held all that shit in disdain?” He waved his beer towards the conjured closet. It annoyed him to see someone he thought as intelligent getting themselves involved with Sylas, but for Pete, it was a far worse crime to be a hypocrite.

Cherise was in some kind of silly conversation with the ginger; hand gestures this way and that, nodding, laughing - a little bit of everything. The discussed the pairings that had already embarked on the closet adventure, however, neither of the girls knew anyone enough to judge. It was mostly based on superficial things like appearance, and stuff like that. Apollo's daughter had other things on her mind, but Rae was an excellent distraction.

"What does it take to get a bottle pointed at you around here, hm?" Rae inquired with the flailing of her arms and a huffy sigh of frustration. "To think the gods crafted such fine male specimens and they are getting paired with duds." That was more or so directed at the brunette that had gone in with Sylas. Seriously, who dresses that that at a beach party? After the unseeming duo come out and disgraced in their disheveled state, she wrinkled her nose. Her eyes trailed after Sylas as he sought out the dissenters of the group. She cocked her head to the side, "Interesting."

As she anxiously awaits the spin of the bottle, her eyes snap to Cherise of whom had wandered off into la-la land like the pathetic little daydreamer she could sometime be. It was likely that she was caught somewhere between drunk and that teeny-tiny green-eyed monster lurking just beneath the surface of an otherwise sweet girl. She was about to speak when Iliana came over and sat down next to Cherise.

She offered a bright-lipped smile at the girl and introduced herself, "Hello, I'm Rae." Of course, it took her a second to realize that there was an iPad involved in this conversation, and she leaned over Cherise's lap just a bit to take a gander at it. "Nice to meet you. Don't mind Cherise. She's being a drag tonight. I think it has a little bit to do with her boy toy and a certain red-headed woman that is quite lovely."

Cherise blinked out of her thoughts and then dragged her attention to the iPad. She looked up at Iliana and smiled, but then swatted at Rae in a sort of clandestine behind her back movement with a hand. "Oh, hey, Iliana. I'm fine, really. You shouldn't really walk around worrying so much about people. Don't you think that you're going to stress yourself out a bit like that?" It was a genuinely curious inquiry, and her tone was soft and warm as it was always.

Rae popped up onto her feet and looked down at the pair of conversationalists, her eyes quickly fleeting to the area where there were Duke and Ajax. Excellent. Just the kind of men she was looking for, and there was a perfect excuse to go over and introduce herself. Yet one was leaving, and the other seemed to have been distracted by something. "I'm going to grab myself some food. Do you want anything? A burger? You know, what? You want a burger, I know you do. It looks like you haven't eaten in ages. You're getting a little too thin." She didn't even give Cherise a chance to protest before she wandered off to go do just that.

She didn't get very far before she bumped into a retreating Duke. A hand reached up to grab one of his arms to make sure that she didn't topple over, or maybe she's just touchy-feely like that and doesn't much care. "I'd say sorry, but that would imply that I did something wrong, which I haven't. Are there still burgers on the grill? My friend over there," she gestures over to Cherise, "... looks like she could use some food. The girl can't really handle her beer if she doesn't eat. I want to drag someone to my cabin, but I don't want that person to be her." While she didn't exactly play everything off cool, at least she was straight forward. She even remembered to take a step back out of his personal space because Cherise keeps telling her about this thing called a personal bubble. Whatever the fuck that meant. Something about so many feet between one person and another.

Meanwhile, Cherise was a bit concerned with Iliana's health regarding her unchecked empathy. It was not good for something like that to go unrestrained for so long. Especially since she just flutters around checking on people, and one day she's going to approach the wrong person. "Have you ever thought about controlling your empathy a bit more, Iliana? It's sweet that you're so concerned, but I don't want you to get hurt for being a genuinely good person. It's a problem because not everyone here is so understanding, I think. It would also be a shame to see you caught up in someone's mess."

Son of Zeus || Hex: Green Outfit for Party

He was about to head back to the party to find Alex. Luckily, she wasn't that far away with her lips locked with someone else. He clenched his jaw and began to take a couple of steps toward them, but someone had managed to stop him in his tracks. Pete had ended up wandering off towards some other chick, leaving a happy looking Alex by herself. "Hello, my name is Penelope, but you can call me Nelly. I just got in last night and am still trying to meet everyone at camp." She didn't have to introduce herself to everyone in one day, but if it made her happy, then why not? there were no camp rules stating otherwise and the staff really didn't give a damn.

"Ajax.." he told her, and held his hand out for her to shake. He sucked with conversations half the time, but he was at least inclined to try his best for the girl. He didn't want to give her a bad impression of himself on her first day, especially not while Mason twisted his little charms around everyone to make sure they hated everything that stood for Zeus and his offsprings. "Can I offer you some advice, Nelly? - pick your friends carefully, okay? and trust no one. Especially those who just prefer to spend their time playing stupid games." he didn't name names because it wasn't hard to figure out who they were. "If you'll excuse me, I just have to talk to my sister. Come find me later if you want? I'll... probably be lurking around somewhere." he half laughed before he touched her shoulder gently, and made his way to Alex. He didn't have control over who she spent her time with, but the fact that she had chosen one of Hera's kids.. and for what reason? Alex didn't play games. She knew better.

Image He took a hold of her by the elbow, pulling her off to the side. "What you doing?" he asked lowly with a frown on his face, she went to answer him, but she ended up looking past him. Ajax glanced over his shoulder to see what grabbed her attention.

Some girl was with Duke. It was unclear what she was saying to him as she touched him. "Listen..." he gently tugged on her arm, grabbing his sister's attention, then let her go. "Dad wants us to go to Mount Olympus for a little while.. he can explain everything to you himself when we get there so I don't have to repeat everything." he smiled. "Do you want to go? Duke can come too... if he wants. But, I have a feeling he'll want to stay here. Anyway, we leave tomorrow, so we'll have to pack up tonight at some point." he didn't blame him if he did stay behind because it wasn't like it would be a vacation there.

Image So they could finally get out of this place... thank the gods. Alex definitely wanted to go, especially if it meant spending time with her dad. Even if it meant leaving Wes and Duke behind for a little while, she still wanted to go. "Okay, and Yes, I'll go. Of course, I want to go. I've wanted to spend time with dad for so long.. it'll be good for us. I'll... I'll ask Duke now." without another word to her brother, Alex headed straight towards Duke. It was the perfect reason to be there without showing the jealousy she felt stirring the moment that redhead touched his arm. Who did the women think they were in this place? Gods gift to men? same for the men too half the time. She definitely couldn't wait to get out of this place.

"Duke!" she called out to him in excitement. "I really need to talk to you for a moment... it's urgent." she totally ignored Rae being there. "Dad wants me and Aj to go home with him. I'm not sure what for entirely, but part of it is to spend time with us. Do you want to come? you can.. if you want to that is?"

Image Duke had learned a lesson, that it could be interpreted as offensive to ask a child of Zeus if they wanted to play 7 minutes in heaven. Because while Duke had accepted his answer and still thought they were walking in sync, Ajax had spun off and headed somewhere else. The temporary confusion of his brother missing lead him to see an awful sight. Alex talking to Pete, but it wasn't just a talk it was the smile, the eyes nearly batting, the proximity and Pete knew it too when their eyes met. Then they kissed and Duke glared in their direction before rolling his eyes and shaking his head to himself. How else did he think it was going to end? Alex was back, flirty and daring as ever. Duke could feel the field trip Pete would have with it too.

A bottle tapped on his shoulder far too soon. “Fuck, I forgot. I was supposed to ask for a date first wasn’t I?” Duke glowered at Pete but couldn't say anything back because Alex had worked against him unintentionally, leaving no come back and no room except for defeat. Pete laughed knowing well he had the upper hand. “Maybe I’ll get it right next time.”

Duke shot a glare in Alex's direction. He wanted Alex to be herself again but he forgot some aspects of her personality were troublesome and he didn't much like being made the fool. Maybe they deserved each other afterall.

He had got a couple steps when somebody bumped into him. In his huff and puff he mustn't have been paying attention and he held the girl's arms to steady her, like she held his. He opened his mouth to offer an apology but the redhead beat him to it. "I'd say sorry, but that would imply that I did something wrong, which I haven't." Now he was at a total loss for words, not sure if she meant that in a rude way like he had jumped in her way and he should apologize or because it was a genuine accident. Or another way entirely that he couldn't grasp. She continued on without missing a beat. "Are there still burgers on the grill? My friend over there" Duke found himself following her gesture to a brunette and Iliana before looking back to his present company, "... looks like she could use some food. The girl can't really handle her beer if she doesn't eat. I want to drag someone to my cabin, but I don't want that person to be her."

And Duke was at a loss again. He was with her for the whole my friend needs to eat but the last part was anyone's guess. "Okay," he began slowly, and looked around hoping a translator might appear. "Burgers are on the grill, feel free to take as much as you want." She had a tiny girl squad to feed and he really didn't want them to be modest about what they ate or how much. "Umm...if your friend gets too intoxicated, somebody else can take her back?" he suggested next. Among the demigods there were some genuinely good ones.

Then it hit him. The girl's voice he was talking to matched a certain announcement he overheard telling everyone her own 7 minutes in heaven rules/standards. She wasn't as worried about her friend as much as she was worried about somebody keeping her bed warm. Duke smiled a little finally catching on. "You're very attractive. I'm sure you'll be able to drag someone to your cabin after the game." Somehow he doubted she needed assurance on that but Duke was always happy to lay out a fact or two. "Like anything if you will it and work hard for it, it will become a reality." Although with the booze and hormones in most demigods she likely didn't need to apply the hard work.

"Duke!" Alex called out. He turned his head in her direction but ultimately let her approach himself and Rae. "I really need to talk to you for a moment... it's urgent" Duke frowned. She had diluted the meaning of that word and he didn't move an inch. "Dad wants me and Aj to go home with him. I'm not sure what for entirely, but part of it is to spend time with us. Do you want to come? you can.. if you want to that is?"

People were really beyond hellos these days. "That's great news Alex." He gestured his head to his company. A look, a nod or anything would suffice right now because she wasn't invisible and there was no reason to treat her as such. "We were in the middle of our own urgent discussion." Their conversation was of zero importance but the point was Alex didn't know that and charged in, interrupted and thought she could pluck everyone away like she did Pete from Liv. "It sounds like a family get together and that I'd only intrude. I'll think about it though," he answered. Hephaestus and Duke might have been able to get their own bonding time or at least solid training and development.

Now, let's remind ourselves that Rae has the verbal tact and empathy of a toddler. They are little sociopaths if one thinks about it. Parents would know this as fact. She said what she wanted to and whenever she wanted to regardless of who is around. She also didn't invite clarification unless one inquired. The fact that she had actually meant to bump into either Duke or Ajax was left unspoken because he hadn't really asked for an explanation. They were both good-looking gentlemen by any gal's standards - that is, if they had standards to begin with. If they did, Duke and Ajax were prime pickings, and she didn't see any girls with them at the party. That made them free for the taking in her mind. She couldn't even peg the fact that he was clearly confused, as she offerd the tilt of her head and her own perplexed expression as he spoke.

"Burgers are on the grill, feel free to take as much as you want. Umm...if your friend gets too intoxicated, somebody else can take her back?" Her eyes moved to look up at something, and then side-to-side as if he had missed her point entirely. Was this not good flirting? She crossed her arms over her chest and pinned her gaze on him, blinking in multiple quick successions as she waited on him to draw the correct conclusion as she thought anyone would.

He finally did, "You're very attractive. I'm sure you'll be able to drag someone to your cabin after the game. Like anything if you will it and work hard for it, it will become a reality." She didn't laugh. She didn't smile. Everything that dripped from her lips, however rude and arrogant as it came out, was straight-forward. She wouldn't want to keep a man guessing when she had perfectly clear intentions.

"Oh, I don't like to work that hard for a boy. I prefer just telling them what I want." Alex was on the approach. "Duke! I really need to talk to you for a moment... it's urgent." Alex called out.

However, Rae was not done speaking yet and she'd not be interrupted so easily. She held up her index finger toward Alex and expected her to wait her turn like a good little girl. The Artemis child didn't know that this was the spawn of Zeus, and even if she had, she wouldn't have cared one bit. They didn't look like a couple, and let's face it - she was much better looking. She hadn't realized yet that he sounded a bit irritated with the brunette that had just bulldozed her way into a very important conversation. "You said I was attractive, and I bumped into you with the intent of seeing if you thought so. I'm not a very good flirt, and I don't like cat and mouse games. You're cute, and I am very much open for after-party fun at either of our places."

When Duke addressed Alex, she let the two have their conversation but intruded when necessary. She'd not be ignored, either. Rae was not a welcome mat that one just walked all over.

Dad wants me and Aj to go home with him. I'm not sure what for entirely, but part of it is to spend time with us. Do you want to come? you can.. if you want to that is?"

"That's great news Alex." He gestured his head to Rae and she tossed the girl her best and quickest sarcastic smile. "We were in the middle of our own urgent discussion." The feisty ginger interjects her own comment, not that either of them asked. "Yes, the drying out of my lady-parts is really depending on this conversation right here and right now. I am going to get a little fussy if I don't have a man or two to keep me satisfied while I am stuck here. I find this one rather cute, but I can come back later."

That was a good sense of urgency as any. Her tone was so flat that it didn't sound like she was being vindictive or anything. There wasn't any annoyed undertone, either. She was just trying to get to the point for Duke to think about a little later after he's done speaking with Alex. Rae didn't stick around after that, so she didn't hear the latter half of his conversation.

She moseyed her way over to the grill. Now Ajax was in her sights. Poor guy... She didn't notice at first, but Penelope was there. Oops - always interrupting some girl with some guy, but she wasn't rude like some entitled Zeus chick. She flashed her the obligatory greeting smile and waved. She decided right then and there that it would be otherwise bad form to hit on Ajax. "Don't mind me. Just going to grab a couple of burgers. A girl's gotta eat," she states absently as she collects the plates, buns, and eventually the patties themselves. Ajax was leaving to chase after who she thought was maybe his girlfriend, of whom was now speaking with Duke. This place was so confusing. She ended up eventually juggling three plates and a couple of beers hugged to her chest. She looked like a carnivorous freak with a pension for alcoholism. It looked like she needed some help...

Daughter of Zeus || Hex: #d63b71 || Outfit for Party

Image "You said I was attractive, and I bumped into you with the intent of seeing if you thought so. I'm not a very good flirt and I don't like cat and mouse games. You're cute, and I am very much open for after-party fun at either of our places."

It took everything in Alex to not lash out at the female, especially since she had no right to anyway. She didn't own Duke, Duke wasn't hers, and she had just kissed Pete not too long ago. Did Duke seriously call her attractive? Her gaze fell from him as her jaw tightened slightly. She took a deep breath before exhaling from her nose. Keep it together.. this bitch isn't worth it, Duke knows better than to be with some cheap little easy skank, and you're not his girlfriend. she thought.

Rae's voice was like nails on a chalkboard every time she opened her stupid desperate mouth.

"That's great news Alex." Duke told her, which caused a smile to grow on Alex's face, but her smile soon fell when he gestured his head to Rae, causing Alex to look in that direction. Alex's eyes travelled down the girl with distaste, then back up to her face.

Image "We were in the middle of our own urgent discussion." he told her. Those words she didn't expect from him.

With her eyes locked on his, her heart sank as her mouth fell slightly agape, unable to speak. She took a tiny step back from him as she looked between his eyes as if searching for the answer as to why he was being like this. He had made her feel utterly embarrassed in 0-60 seconds.

"Yes, the drying out of my lady-parts is really depending on this conversation right here and right now. I am going to get a little fussy if I don't have a man or two to keep me satisfied while I am stuck here. I find this one rather cute, but I can come back later." She was disgusting. The very thought of Rae's head being rammed down into a table, if not the BBQ, or any other inanimate object, was better than having to hear to the crap flying out of her mouth. Surely Duke didn't like this.

"It sounds like a family get together and that I'd only intrude. I'll think about it though,"

"Sure you will..." she said before she turned and walked away.

He would no doubt prefer to stay at camp now he had someone's claws set into him for a night of God knows what.

Soon as she was out of their line of sight and hearing, Alex ended up on the beach and just let out her pent up anger and frustration she didn't want him to see. She screwed up her fists and screamed a little. How was she able to recover and be her old self in this fucking place? it was impossible.

Going to Mount Olympus was the only option now.
