On the outside, Ajax looked confident, but as he watched everyone enter the main hall, he felt his confidence flicker like a breeze against newly lit flame. He had never grasped the horns of leadership, not properly, but he was doing his best, or so he told himself most nights. So many wrong choices, but even leaders can't always be right. He still blamed himself for the lives that had been prematurely snuffed out last year, even though he knows it's impossible to save everyone. Not even Gods have that power.

Fate is fate.

At camp his efforts had never once been for his father, they had been for the camp. Even if some of them hated him enough to want him dead alongside his sister - a gentle soul that had been touched almost by death, and darkness that wanted to consume her. She hardly had any fight left, and all of that was also his fault for not being a better brother.

He had left her thinking she could handle it on her own as she was strong, but the death of their mother had broken her spirits. No-one on camp had the right to dig their heels into someone suffering mentally. Especially when they didn't know the origin of their entire story, and why Hades was so determined to see the great fall of Olympic Gods.

With Alex not far from him, she sat at the table he had left to make the speech he was dreading. He had no idea what everyone would think about him or his choice of words, but they needed to be aired.

He now stood at the front of the room and paced gently as everyone took their place. The large doors shut, and all eyes were on him, waiting patiently to hear what he had to say.

Image "Earlier on today someone deliberately pushed her" he glanced to his sister, catching sight of Pete sitting across from her, but turned back to the room. Alex could handle herself, but just encase Pete did try anything, Duke was within decent proximity from him to react quicker than Ajax. "Have you forgotten she's my sister? she's unwell, and some of you find it funny to pick at her like she's less than you? she's not a bad person, and if I hear anyone bringing up the topic that got us in this mess in the first place, just one word, then there will be trouble. I couldn't care less if you don't like taking orders.. you will, or you can just leave the camp right now. If you think you'll survive on your own? then leave."

Image When the boy from earlier came and sat across from her, she couldn't believe he actually had the nerve to after what he said to her brother, and the way him and Sylas began to creep into her head to unhinge her more than she was already. What? so now he wanted to chit-chat and be friends? was this another little plan of theirs? was Pete working with sylas and Mason?

Even though she had no clue what this guy's intentions were, and that her trust meter was shot to hell, she still felt he wasn't as bad as the other two.

She understood why Mason hated her and wanted her dead, but what was the issue with Sylas? possibly got the wrong information, put 2 + 2 together and got 6. Or maybe he just loved to toy with others like a cat who eventually gets its cream. Would make sense considering the Godly parent he spawned from.

"Give me one good reason why I should even talk to you?" she asked Pete. , and while waiting for his reply, her attention briefly found Duke who leaned his perfectly muscled frame against the wall. Something in the room had caught his attention. "Aja..." he trailed off. Ajax hadn't heard him, and Duke decided against what he wanted to say anyway and left it at that.

Alex wanted to smile even now. Duke always had their back no matter how many rumors rooted themselves across the camp. He was never disloyal.

Ares Hex: #b32626| Zeus Hex: #00457a|

Image Before Ajax could carry on with his speech, something had landed on the roof, followed by another loud thud that shook the entire hall. loose plaster from the pillars fell to the ground in clouds of dust as the shaking settled.

Ajax looked up at the ceiling whilst telling everyone to remain calm, and then the doors open. No doubt they were expecting some white-haired, long beaded old man like the myths pictured with his lightning bolts in hand, punishing those who had betrayed him, but he was far from that. Though he was a strong ruler, he was definitely nothing like the monster his father was. An ancient God that found joy in torturing mortals was no way to be. Especially during modern times.

Zeus smiled and made his way towards the front, with Ares not far behind him as guardian. Zeus' hand massaged his daughter's head briefly as he passed her. The entire hall had fallen silent as he lay his palm upon his son's shoulder. "I will take it from here, son."

"Don't call me that." He said quietly enough for only Zeus to hear as he glared up at his father inches from him, then stood aside to give him the floor. Those feelings towards his father were never going to go away easily, but for once.. he'd have to push their differences aside for sake of the others.

Zeus let it go for now. There was no time to try and seek his son's forgiveness, so he turned his attention to the others in the room. "Starting from tonight, you will all make your way towards the beach where Ares and Athena will be waiting for all of you. You shall be coming to Mount Olympus for Alex's trial, and I will not tolerate bad behavior while you're there. Know you are in my domain. You may wander around the grounds, but know that this is not a vacation. I will allow you to speak to your parents if you wish. I have chosen the arena beneath the Acropolis. The rest of you will sit around the Arena, spectating." he looked around at each of them, knowing exactly which Demigod was who. "If you have any questions? Ask now."

"Hey," Wes sat next to her, placing a hand on her shoulder and her blood boiled. She wished she could sear it with a touch. "Is everything ok?" He even rubbed her arm and acted attentive to her.

She sighed deeply suppressing the urge to lunge on him and demand to know why he wasted her time, what his angle was, break his hand, but it had to wait. Time and place. “If you could not talk right now, thanks, I wanna listen to Aj.”

Before there could be any announcement, that same girl -the same fucking girl from before happened to stumble between Wes and herself. Trinity shot up to her feet like it was coffee being spilled on her. “You imbecile!” she snarled and retracted her arm when she grazed it as if she had the plague. She was half an imbecile for dropping her crisps, but mainly she was one because she didn't heed a very clear warning. And bending over near Wes; she could go direct to hell.

“I- I’m sorry! I didn’t- I mean, I’m not- like,” she was a stumbling mess but Trinity didn't give a damn. With a last look at her, the girl fled. Trinity went to grab a fistful of her hair and slam it down on the table but pulled herself short. She clenched her fists tightly, digging her nails into her palms instead. She paced for a few seconds in no condition to sit and listen to some speech.

Fine, it was coming out now then. Trinity turned to Wes and sat back down mechanically...reluctantly. “I hear you got yourself a date tonight. And it's not me.” She beat him to any stupid remarks regarding their date that was planned at some stage in life. “I'm sorry I give a shit about my friend and aren't some obedient, affectionate barbie doll but if you wanted to jump ships, all you had to do was say.” She did her best to keep her tone even.

When most the hall seemed settled, Ajax spoke. "Earlier on today someone deliberately pushed her. Have you forgotten she's my sister? she's unwell, and some of you find it funny to pick at her like she's less than you? she's not a bad person, and if I hear anyone bringing up the topic that got us in this mess in the first place, just one word, then there will be trouble. I couldn't care less if you don't like taking orders.. you will, or you can just leave the camp right now. If you think you'll survive on your own? then leave."

Some of us wouldn't be able to survive alone. Good. I dare you to leave the hall. Trinity waited for the opportunity to pounce but she knew they'd stick in a pack. But Ajax...Ajax had got his mean harsh helmet on which she kind of admired. If that topic was Jennova and Alex though well...Trinity hadn't even got to voice her opinion on it yet. Too bad they'd never hear it then by Ajax's law. Before he could continue to expand his speech, they were interrupted. By the Gods. Zeus and Ares entered the hall. It reminded her of the first time she saw Zeus and hid in front of Wes and he chose Theo for a quest.

Trinity looked to Theo and smirked knowingly. Imagine sending him on another one. But Zeus announced a trial was in order for Alex and they were all to spectate it. Trinity gave it a while for people to get any questions out then after substantial time, she spoke. “Can we go, now?” It was best for her to zip out of the hall before Wes could say or do something that could get himself hurt. She wasn't really in the mood to listen either.

Once she got the all clear, she was the first out of there. Somehow she doubted a change of scenery would improve her mood, then they'd go straight back to their cabins from Mount Olympus and that wouldn't be good either.

She couldn't help but observe the mini commotion around Keith. Suddenly she wished she had sat with him in order to access the conversation and interfere promptly. While he had managed the last year by himself, everybody had a breaking point. She didn't wish for him to reach it. Evelyn began a quick debate, weighing the pros and cons.

A few tables away there was a disturbing bang and Trinity was up on her feet, ready to turn the hall into her own brawling arena with a flustered girl before her. She even went to lunge for the girl but something or someone stopped her. Evelyn directed her gaze forward again, her mind becoming swarmed with different questions and concerns for the toxicity in camp. Further along, she even sighted Sylas imposing himself over Sloane and Ji-hyun. Get him, girl.

Somebody appeared in her peripheral and sat with her. She widened her eyes a little surprised and the concerns vanished. “Hi, I’m Eve.” The recent stranger said. Evelyn calculated the girl head to toe. Surely she didn't expect protection from the wrath of Ares with her. “I’m kind of new here, any idea what meetings like this are usually about?”

Considering she was relatively new herself, nor had there been many meetings in Evelyn's time, she could only offer ideas. “Umm
something relatively important? An announcement they only want to say once or something that concerns us all? Disharmony?” Once she said it, it was like a light-bulb moment. That's what it was about Eve. Chaos, disorder, black.

“Crisps?”

Her eyes fell on the packet offered towards her. “No, thank you. I don't like taking food from people, particularly ones I just met.” She smiled like it was a joke. Fairly quickly, Evelyn elected to change tunes. Charades wasn't a game she cared much for. “You're a formidable actress and you have a nice name. Mine's Evelyn. Are you looking for an ally?” She arched a brow awaiting the honest answer even if it was a bit much to expect.

Ajax began his speech then concerning Alex and challenged those to go on their lonesome who wouldn't listen to reason and authority. Who liked to tamper with others. Evelyn's eyes automatically drifted to Eve.

Then there were two loud thuds on the roof. She looked up, worry tightening in her chest expecting something to break through and start some massacre. The source came through the door though; calm and as authoritative as ever. There was an air of power about this man and her suspicions were confirmed when he approached Ajax. Zeus. Evelyn squirmed in her chair, suddenly become self-conscious and straightening out her clothes. Not that she was looking to be his wife or anything but it was Zeus so she could at least appear well-presented. Not to mention there was another God by his side.

The rest of you will sit around the Arena, spectating." Her gaze shifted to Alex, seeing how she'd behave. The girl under the spotlight. Did she expect a trial or was this news to her too? "If you have any questions? Ask now."

“I was wondering why you've selected us all to spectate this trial, what purpose would we serve?” Evelyn belonged in such an environment but why jeopardize Mount Olympus's state with demigods that didn't have control or couldn't be trusted? She could justify an answer or two herself: they were her peers and in order to resolve future disputes they would witness the one trial and verdict together, but to hear Zeus's mind was a rare opportunity.

Once answered and the air was clear, Evelyn looked to Eve again. “At least you might get more than crisps in Mount Olympus. Hopefully it will keep you satisfied.” She smiled.

Hecate| HEX: #8b9068 | Smart/Casual

Image The stare off continued and Mason was really looking at him like something foreign. Thankfully, he was joined by another that distracted him for a second or two. Keith took the time to breathe out and when his eyes lifted again, he met Andy's, staring at him the same way Mason had.

"I... uh... Do you know who I am?"

What kind of question was that? "Yes? You're Andromeda. You're a direct descendant of Hecate, as am I. Do you know who I am?" he asked back. If she was going to be that forgetful regarding a half sibling then she needed help. He tried not to take it personally but it was beyond insulting. Unless the son of Hades put her up to it and they were ganging up on him for some practical prank. He was sick of being the laughing stock and while Andy and him might not have been that close, he expected better.

"Now I would appreciate it if you two stopped towering over me and either sat down or moved somewhere else. Please." He wasn’t one to make demands. A man of his stature had to request.

The son of Zeus began to talk summoning his attention to the front, however, he was still aware of Mason and Andy's whereabouts. He tried his best to ignore them and focus on what was being said. Sounded like Alex had ran into more trouble or rather people were taking advantage of her troubled state. Keith cast a shy look around the room for those wrong doers trying to catch who to avoid and nervously rested on Mason. Alex killed his sister and he felt for the guy somewhat, not that Keith could ever express sympathy to Mason. But Alex's conscience already haunted her and to torment her on top of that was excessive. Suddenly there were thuds that nearly shook the whole hall.

Keith saw himself standing on a cliff by Mason over a dug up hole then suddenly he was alone outside with the ground trembling beneath his feet rhythmically while trees toppled over in the distance. Then he was back in the hall, back in reality. Keith blew out his lips and blinked a couple times.

The rest of you will sit around the Arena, spectating. If you have any questions? Ask now."

"Mr. Zeus, eerr Sir...I mean, Zeus.." Keith didn't know how to address him. "While I'm privileged to be invited to the trial," crap, that sounded bad. Keith cringed internally expecting a death glare from the Zeus children. "do we have to go?" Keith didn't mean that in a 'I have better things to do' way, but he didn't want to see any brutal punishment come forth. "I guess I mean to ask what...what the outcomes will vary to," he muttered. "And how long we will be there for."

Hades | HEX: #05105E | Outfit

"I do believe I must have met a brother of hers. Interesting. Seems they may do my work for me... Take the fall for it too. Even better."

Mason smirked too.

"I was making good on my word, It's seems Alex is inches from going over the edge. It was almost too easy sending her into a fit. Almost took the fun out of it. I should probably warn you, that in persuading her toward instability, I had to implicate a certain favorite of yours. But she seems tough. I'm sure she'll be fine." Then the diabolical session met it's end. Distractions and priorities and all.

Mason hoped it was a joke. A dedicated performance on Daniel's end, even if it lacked humor. As Mason tried and struggled to comprehend what was in front of him somebody grabbed his arm. "Hey," he jumped a little in start. "I'm sorry about leaving. I needed air and—" Mason tried to lead Andy away quickly as she spoke, having a sudden interest in a table but it was too late. Andy had spotted him. The way her expression changed said a million things and Mason's heart sunk for her.

"I... uh... Do you know who I am?"

Image"Andy, let's go, come on," Mason whispered. The answer might not have been pleasant to hear and she didn't need to put herself through more heartache. He tried to pull her away but he knew the girl wouldn't budge unless she wanted to. Daniel answered and Mason turned to him again then tightened his hold on Andy. He didn't want her to leap on him in excitement and hug him or burst into tears and storm off. He didn't want to be anywhere near a scene. Besides, Ajax would hone into it like a hawk if it was Andy related and suddenly it'd become everybody's business.

Personally, this dweeb version of Daniel was a sore sight. Mason fell into a chair on his table right as Ajax began speaking and stared at Daniel. "He's not soulless," he mumbled. He wasn't really sorry if Andy wanted to hear Ajax's speech fully or not. To him at least, Daniel was more important than the Valises. Meanwhile the four eyed Daniel tried his best to concentrate ahead.

Zeus and Ares gatecrashed and Mason watched the Gods head to the front. Hades didn't storm the camp when he felt like but it would be a very different nature if he did. Mason pressed his tongue to his cheek as he said Alex was sent to trial then asked for questions. Mason sat quiet for a moment as Daniel and others got their questions out. Mason didn't want to prolong the process but his own question had to come out. He stood up so Zeus and everyone could see and hear him clearly. "Yeah, I have one. Is Hades going to be there?" Mason locked eyes with the Zeus cluster at the front. "Since it was his daughter that got murdered, don't you think he has a say or at least the right to witness her trial? It seems fair to me."

He wasn't sorry so he couldn't say that as he sat back down beside Andy. "Do you think Hecate will be there?" he asked her. "She might be able to help with our other issue." Mason pointed to Daniel. It was a genuine issue, but he felt dirty for insinuating the God of the Underworld's invite in front of Andy, who he tortured. He actually kind of felt dirty she even held his arm not long after he smacked lips with Evangeline.

Eve couldn’t hear what Trinity was saying, but the expression on her face was clearer than any words could be. She was spitting fire at Wes. Eve almost felt bad for the undue blasting he was getting, almost. Instead she smirked, enjoying the view of the bickering couple way too much.

Her attention was brought back to Evelyn by her side. “No, thank you. I don't like taking food from people, particularly ones I just met.”

Eve smiled back the redhead, plastering on a fake pleasant smile. “Really? See I love taking things from people. Especially ones I’ve just met.” Her voice took on a sly tone, only for a second, before Eve laughed as if she were joking. She wasn’t of course, she loved taking things that didn’t belong to her, but it seemed silly to throw away her first impression already.

But then Evelyn did that all on her own. “You're a formidable actress and you have a nice name. Mine's Evelyn. Are you looking for an ally?” Eve almost scowled, she’d never been called out so easily before, and she hated being shocked and pushed to the back foot.

“Formidable? I like that word, might use it in a resume one day.” She gave Evelyn a Cheshire grin before swiping the last crisp from her bag, screwing it up in hands and buying herself more time to craft a response. A response that would put her back in the controlling seat, her eyes drifted to Pete’s back for a moment, once upon a time she’d had an ally. “And you’re formidably perceptive. Why are you asking? Are you offering your services?” Eve smirked at the other girl deciding to reveal some of her research, “Do I get a blessing from the daughter of Nemesis if I answer correctly?”

The conversation ended short as Ajax begun his little speech. Eve had to physically hold herself back from smirking, or downright laughing. If anything his threat only painted an even larger target on Alex’s back for people like Eve. Now if she messed with Alex she’d get a two-for-one in pissing off Ajax as well.

Then Zeus arrived, with noise, pompous and flash just as Hera had accused him of. Eve had never met another god other than Hera before, and Hera’s disdain for her peers tinted Eve’s vision of them. Though a trip to Mount Olympus held appeal, Hera had made sure to never bring her mortal offspring anywhere close to home.

Eve’s eyes trailed back to Trinity, messing with her fellow campers held more appeal to Eve than Gods. That’s why she saw the little smirk that Trinity had sent to the blonde boy. She didn’t know who he was, but he was clearly another playing piece.

“At least you might get more than crisps in Mount Olympus. Hopefully it will keep you satisfied.” Evelyn said with a smile. Surprisingly Eve was finding the redhead hard to read – which she hated.

Which meant Evelyn was a danger, especially when Eve didn’t know whether she was going to run and tell the whole camp what she knew. She couldn’t afford to let her guard down any further. “Oh, I plan to be satisfied.”

Eve watched Trinity storming out, before turning back to Evelyn with a challenging smile, “If we were allies I'd offer to show you your destiny.” She held out her hand to the girl, palm skyward, one of her honed skills inherited from Hera. "But I don't think we are." Eve snatched her hand back and left. Moving to cut in front of Wes, blocking his path if he were considering chasing after Trinity. Willing a nervous expression onto her face and forcing tears into her eyes, she looked to her feet refusing to make eye contact with him. “I’m so sorry,” She forced her voice to come out as a timid squeak and her fake watery eyes produced a tear. “I think that might have been my fault.”

"Give me one good reason why I should even talk to you?" Of course Alex was angry, and she looked down her nose at him, like he had no reason to be there at the front of the room at her table. And she was probably right, a guy like him was meant for dark corners.

A traditionally handsome bodyguard came to hover by their table, of course. Pete felt his speculative eyes, assessing him as friend or foe. Though let’s be honest no one ever saw Pete as thought of him as trustworthy. But Alex didn’t need a protector, he’d seen earlier that she was beyond powerful.

In the two times Pete had seen Alex, he was beginning to realise that angry might have been her default state. He’d take angry over manipulative any day though. He looked across the table at her, through the hair hanging over his eyes. He raised one shoulder in a lazy shrug, “I got no good ones for you.”

Then Ajax stole the attention of the room, his speech long and unnecessary. Pete knew how people like his sister and that guy from the barn worked, a topic like this only painted a target on her back for people like them. And Pete was buying this fragile bullshit, not after he’d seen what she could do.

A boom and a clap, and Zeus himself was in the room. Or at least Pete assumed his was Zeus since he was one of the few close enough to hear him call Ajax son. He noticed a quick, quick glare from Ajax, though he spoke too low to be heard. A perceptive habit from his past, and tid-bit his sister would have died to have.

Considering Pete held nothing but disdain for the one God(ess) he’d ever met, that tainted his vision of the rest of them. Neither they nor Mount Olympus held much appeal. Though his ears caught at the mention of ‘Alex’s Trial’. Considering he’d spent his only day here hiding out reading, he felt considerably out of the loop.

He looked up assessing Alex, what had she done to deserve a trial. What could she be capable of. He wondered without judgement, just curiosity. Once the God’s had finished speaking he had his answer for Alex’s earlier question. He looked back at her, gathering his back pack up. “But it doesn’t seem as if you’ve got much choice, I'm the only one in this room not looking at you like traitor.” He had been right, he didn’t have a good answer, but like always, he preferred honesty above everything else.

Swinging his backpack over his shoulder he approached the Valis bodyguard on his way out, the one with brown hair and chiselled jawline, of course. He patted his chest once, funnelling his magic through the touch and his words to influence Duke’s mind. “Just shag her mate.” Not caring that he was loud enough to be heard all around, he walked past Duke towards the doors, not being one for prolonged group hangouts.

"Andy, let's go, come on," Mason whispered as he gently tried to guide her away, but she didn't move. Andy wanted to hear his response. She was thankful he didn't leave her or fight her hold on his arm while her eyes scanned her brother. "Yes? You're Andromeda. You're a direct descendant of Hecate, as am I. Do you know who I am?"

A weak, exasperated laugh escaped her lips which her gaze fell to her feet. How was she supposed to answer? Yes, you're Daniel. Not anymore. Who are you really? But instead Andy stood there in silence just staring at him. "Now I would appreciate it if you two stopped towering over me and either sat down or moved somewhere else. Please."

It stung. She couldn't even bring herself to look at him. Mason's hold on her arm tightened slightly and Andy didn't fight him as he lead her away and to a table. She lowered herself into a chair beside him just as Ajax began his speech, her eye focused blankly on the flat surface before her. "He's not soulless," Mason said quiet enough for her to hear, catching her attention rather than listening to Ajax defend Alex for the thousandth time that year.

Andy slowly looked over at him. "He called me Andromeda," she whispered, saying her full name almost like it was a poison. No one called her by her full name, not Mason or Ajax or her father, especially not Daniel. The only person who did was... her mother. The thought sent a chill down her spine. And almost as if the Gods themselves walked over her grave, two slammed into the roof of the great hall before making a grand entrance through the doors. Why not just bust through the roof? They were beyond subtlety.

It wasn't the first time she was in the presence of a God, but the few times she had been never ended well. Andy stiffened in her seat, her gaze glued to the pair as they moved before everyone, her hands ringing and white-knuckled in her lap. The rest of you will sit around the Arena, spectating." Her brows furrowed slightly. The last time she was in a God's domain she nearly died. The thought of being in Zeus's hands didn't sit well with her. "If you have any questions? Ask now."

The first to question the God was Trinity who quickly answered her own query and left. Andy had half of a mind to run after her but Trin was much like herself, and needed time away from everyone to cool down. Then Evelyn spoke up. “I was wondering why you've selected us all to spectate this trial, what purpose would we serve?” Andy found herself wondering the same question. Unless, the demigods made up a fraction of the jury alongside the other Gods. Or was it simply a spectacle as a warning to the other demigods? But if that were the case, why in the hell would Zeus subject his own daughter to potential humiliation?

Andy couldn't help her heart as it skipped a beat when Daniel or Keith spoke up. She stopped herself halfway in the middle of turning around so that she didn't have to look at him, not now. Then Mason stood and Andy instinctively grabbed his wrist nearly standing with him. "Mason," she whispered. Andy couldn't help her protectiveness especially now. It was one thing when he was pissing off the Valises, but Gods were completely different. They could smite him from the world in a snap and the Gods hated no one more than Hades.

"Yeah, I have one. Is Hades going to be there? Since it was his daughter that got murdered, don't you think he has a say or at least the right to witness her trial? It seems fair to me." Andy's gazed drifted from Mason to the Gods before them as he sat back down beside her. If all of them were there, the father of the deceased should be too. She honestly couldn't believe that she felt... sympathetic for the God. But a parent should never have to bury a child and he deserved the right to be part of the trial, regardless of her own personal feelings toward the God.

It only seemed fitting that when the serious questions were out of the way, a less serious one would arise. Sylas stood to his feet and even bowed slightly. Was that supposed to be an insult or an act of respect? "Sir, are we to dress for the occasion? It might seem a strange question, but if we are to be in the presence of the Gods, walking through the streets of Olympus... I do not wish to offend yourself, nor my mother, by not presenting myself appropriately." Serious then? Odd question, but she supposed it was a somewhat relevant one.

"Do you think Hecate will be there?" Mason asked Andy, turning her attention back to her present company. Her mother's named twisted her stomach, but she couldn't deny that she also wondered that. "She might be able to help with our other issue."

Andy didn't have to look in the direction he pointed to know what he was referring to. "I don't know, but I hope so." She spared a quick glance over her shoulder toward Daniel. "I fear this is her doing. She was the last person to see him before he died." Her brows furrowed as she looked back at Mason. "Will you help me get him to her?"

Then there was a long silence as campers began to exit and prepare for the journey. Andy leaned a little closer to Mason, speaking soft enough for only him to hear. "I will testify, if I am called upon... For Jennova and for you."

When Wes sat beside Trinity, his touch didn't seem to sooth her but make her tense. His jaw clenched as he quickly withdrew his hand, but couldn't keep himself from looking at her. Unfortunately for him, control over emotions doesn't allow him to know the cause of the emotions. So, although he knew she was angry, he couldn't begin to decipher the cause. “If you could not talk right now, thanks, I wanna listen to Aj.”

Wes inhaled sharply, giving a short nod of his head before looking forward. "As you wish."

There was silence for a brief moment before a girl passing behind them dropped a bag of chips. Then before he knew it Trinity was on her feet. “You imbecile!”

Wes was quick to his feet after her, holding out his hand like someone approaching a wild animal. "Woah, she just dropped some chips." The blonde girl had scurried off before he could try to apologize for Trinity's outburst. He didn't know what was wrong, but she was clearly on edge and no doubt making large enough of a scene for half of the hall to be staring at her.

Trinity paced back and forth, blustering like a storm about to rain hell. “I hear you got yourself a date tonight. And it's not me.” Wes's hand dropped slightly as his head cocked. What in the hell was she talking about? He didn't get a chance to reply. Trinity quickly followed up her comment, being sure to cut him off before he could even attempt to get to the root of what she was talking about. “I'm sorry I give a shit about my friend and aren't some obedient, affectionate barbie doll but if you wanted to jump ships, all you had to do was say.”

Wes's jaw dropped as he stood there in a stunned silence. So, much said in the span of one sentence. What friend was she talking about? Was he just a friend in her eyes? At this point... After so long, he thought they were beyond that. But she spoke as if her friendship with another made him change his mind? What in the hell was going on!? Wes could feel the blood racing to his head as his heart started beating faster and faster in his chest.

He stood there, like a deer in headlights as Ajax began his pointless speech. Which, at the moment, Wes couldn't care less about. Even the arrival of Gods didn't seem to shake Wes quite like the words Trinity just said to him. He was just... silent, as it boiled inside him.

“Can we go, now?” Then in a flash Trinity was out of the hall.

Wes stood there, frozen like a statue. Then out of no where, when the anger, frustration and confusion overflowed, his hand gripped the edge of the table. "Son of a bitch!" Maybe it was adrenaline? Or maybe in the year without an arm his other more than compensated. But with hardly any effort, he flipped the table on it's side before turning toward the exit.

Before he could take a step forward, the blonde from before stood before him. “I’m so sorry. I think that might have been my fault.” Tears? Wes might have given a sympathetic apology and a halfhearted smile before snaking around her. But with his attention on her, he could feel it. Beneath the false sadness and nervousness... It was pleasure. Was this all her doing?

If this girl before him wasn't a girl, Wes might have decked her. Instead he stood there, clenching his jaw, digging his nails so hard into his palms he nearly drew blood. "Get the fuck out of my way, he practically growled at the girl before shoving past her and hurrying out the door.

Wes nearly had to run to catch up. "Trinity!" he tried to get her attention before grabbing her arm, forcing her to stop and turn to face him. A dangerous move, putting his hand on an angry Ares daughter, but he didn't care. Wes would take whatever punishment she dealt if it meant she'd listen. "Stop!" He released her arm and took a step toward her while pointing his index finger at. "You are going to listen to me. Then beat the shit out of me, or whatever you want afterwards. But you will listen!" He ordered. That wasn't a request and he made damn well sure she knew it.

"I have no fucking clue what you're talking about. I told you this morning and nearly everyday for the past year that you are the only girl I want. Why is it all of a sudden everything's changed? It's like all of a sudden you're second guessing everything. Like, in your eyes I'm nothing but a piece of shit Aphrodite kid that bounces between women! You know I'm not like that. You know it!" By that point Wes was yelling, probably loud enough for the people back at the hall to hear him. "Everything I've ever done here has been for you! I've spent the past year trying to prove myself to you and be worthy of you!"

Wes took grabbed Trinity's shoulder, not breaking eye contact as he looked down at her. "Trinity! I—" His voice trailed off as all the anger washed from his face in a saddening wave. Was he about to say it? She stood there accusing him of everything he's been proving to her he isn't and he nearly mention love. She didn't deserve to hear it... not now. Now when she made him feel lower than the dirt under her shoe.

"I thought you knew me better than that," Wes's voice cracked as he took a step back. He looked away from her briefly and when he met her gaze again, a tear fell from his eye. "You don't trust me..." Wes nodded his head before wiping away the tear. "Forget it," he concluded as he turned from her and started in the direct of his cabin. "Don't follow me."

Wes didn't look toward any campers he passed, nor segue in any direction but toward his own cabin. He trudged up the steps of his porch and inside, slamming the door shut behind him. Once inside, he clicked the closest end table, sending it and its contents flying across the room. He proceeded the tear apart his room, throwing things from counter tops and over turning furniture until the entire cabin was in disarray. Wes gave a final kick to an overturned chair before he stumbled backwards against a wall. Then slid down it until he was sitting on the ground with his head in his knees.

Ethan and Heath watched as everyone else showed up and saw a few fireworks fly. Iliana however was concentrating only on herself for she felt so many emotions at once. She felt so much anger from the blonde next to Wesley, which only increased when another blonde girl came near them. She closed her eyes and try to shut herself down. She couldn't loose control, not hear at least. The boys saw what was happening and saw what was happening with Wesley and the 2 blondes girls too. This was definitely not good. They didn't have time to do anything about it for Zeus's son spoke up talking about his sister. Seems like they were right about the two guys from earlier being the one to push Alex over the edge. Now the question was, what originally caused her to go close to the edge to begin with.

Before either boys could speak up though, there was a commotion and suddenly two gods showed up. One was definitely Zeus, but the other the guys hadn't seen before. Soon Zeus spoke and his words only made the boys even more confused. Alex was to be on trial? For what exactly? It must be grave if the gods got directly involved. Knowing his mother was here though, Heath decided to ask her directly. If he was to spectate a trial, he wanted all the clear facts and his mother was good at that without any bias. She was the Goddess of Wisdom for a reason after all. Plus he wanted to get Lia out of this building, who was now covering her ears and rocking back and forth. He was 100% sure she hadn't heard a word. It was to his relief when the one angry blonde left the building though. He had definitely heard her words to Wesley, who had looked shocked by them. He cursed and took off after the blonde who left. It wasn't long before they could hear shouting. This only caused Iliana to shake even more.

When Zeus asked for questions, several did ask, but the one that caught Heath and Ethan's attention the most was when someone came forward.

"Yeah, I have one. Is Hades going to be there? Since it was his daughter that got murdered, don't you think he has a say or at least the right to witness her trial? It seems fair to me."

Ethan looked surprised at that. A daughter of Hades was killed? That definitely wasn't good. Heath started connecting the dots though. Alex was going to be on trial and Hades's daughter had been killed. Was Alex the reason? He saw how angry she got in the stall. So who was this guy that just asked the question? Ethan wondered if the guy was a son of Hades. It would make sense since he did ask such a question.

Both boys though forgot about everything else when Iliana suddenly grabbed onto Heath's shirt sleeve. This was a signal that she had to get out now.

"Let's go now," Heath said as he helped Iliana up.

Ethan nodded as they left. When they exited the building, they saw Wesley take off. Iliana could feel every emotion he was feeling and it was seriously making her sick in the stomach. She could feel her own tears spilling out. Her own powers started churning and soon the sky open up, causing rain to fall. She herself dropped to the ground and started wailing in earnest. Heath swept her into his arms and continued to walk with Ethan right next to him.

"Uh, oh, we better do something to cheer Iliana up quick." Ethan commented.

Indeed, the last time Iliana was this emotional, she had caused a flood. Heath knew this was a result of her trying to contain her emotions and powers too much. The rain continued pouring and they and anyone else would be drenched by now.

"I've got it. Hey, Lia, can you hear me? We're going to see your mother soon. Do you want to see her?"

Hearing her mother being mention penetrated Iliana's intense emotions and she looked at her adopted brother. Taking a few deep breaths, she nodded. This causes the rain to let up dramatically, and it's now a drizzle. Iliana was emotionally drained though and she falls asleep. The boys noticed she had dropped her notepad by then.

"I'll go and get it. It's probably ruined by now though," Ethan said before rushing back to the main hall.

Ethan nodded and continued towards the coast. Minutes later, Ethan was back and indeed, Iliana's notepad was drenched. He also had the pen she carried. It was a good thing Iliana had several notepads back in their cabin. Both were certain though they could get another notepad from Demeter.

Cayden Stelzner
Son of Ares

Hex: #7d6023

Image Earlier that day....

While packing the last item into his suitcase, his fingers fiddled with the buttons on one of his shirts as his mind wandered off into its own world. He didn't know how the rage inside of him was going to treat him, and once thrown into the deep end with a mixture of others who probably had their own problems to deal with, was either going to make him look like the unwanted bad guy with an ego boost or something else. He bared his teeth down against his bottom lip.

"Son." Cayden turned his head to look at his father who stood in the doorway of his bedroom. "I promise you that you'll fit in. Your sister has." Springing a sibling onto him had been a surprise, but at the same time, it had closed the case on his suspicions. His father may have once loved his mother, but now he had gone and made a new family elsewhere which made him feel less important. Ares wasn't there all the time, but it wasn't like he was always absent either.

"So that's why you and mom broke up.. you had another woman and child?"

"No. I never cheated on your mom. I just... sadly didn't love her anymore."

"What's her name?"

"The other woman?"

"No.. what's my sister's name? how old is she?"

Ares smiled. "Her name is Trinity, and she is 19.

"So I have a little sister... okay. When do we leave for camp?"

"I'll get someone else to take you, and I'll meet you there."

before he could ask his father why he wasn't taking him himself, or who he needed to expect to turn up at his door... Ares had gone. He had teleported to god knows where, while Cayden was left lifting his luggage down the stairs.

A few hours later...

Image Finally, he was there at the infamous Camp his father had told him all about. He knew why the place had been built in the first place, and what had happened last year... roughly. His father was down at the beach with some other God. Cayden held up his hand, and his father returned it with his own before Cayden heard a large group of people in a nearby hall.

Curiosity got the best of him, so he headed that way, dumping his rucksack onto the ground since someone with blonde hair came bursting out the doors, followed by some guy chasing after her.

"God, DAMN!" His voice went up an octave on the last word as he stumbled out of their way. "People walking here. Jeeze." He ran his hands over himself like he was dusting himself off and straightening himself out, then carried on to make his way into the hall. Cayden puffed out his chest and silently slipped into one of the seats at the back. "What did a'miss?" He asked while he leaned to the side towards some dude in glasses.

Theo watched as the events unfolded in the hall. He caught the tail end of Trinity blowing up on Wes. He had heard the conversation on the walk to the hall. He knew why she was mad. Theo made a mental note to check in with her later. Maybe, he wouldn't have to worry about Wes anymore after all.

Theo turned his attention to Ajax as the young leader began to talk. He admired that Ajax wanted to protect his sister. Theo was loyal to the Valis', even if he did have mixed feeling about what Alex had done. He could admit; however, that he probably would also kill any person or demigod who killed his father, the non god parent in his life. Theo thought Ajax could have used a bit more tact when speaking to the young demigods, but it wasn't like it mattered. Theo could feel Zeus coming long before anyone else could. Ajax was just a sitting duck, waiting to be cut off. Theo relaxed in his chair as Zeus speech unfolded.

The rest of you will sit around the Arena, spectating... If you have any questions? Ask now."

The reactions around Theo ranged from surprised, to awestruck, to upset. Theo had talked to Zeus before, and so the sheer force with which he moved and spoke did not throw Theo off. Zeus made eye contact with Theo at one point, and Theo gave him a knowing nod. The only thing that kind of bothered Theo about all of this is that he was now forced to see his mother. Theo and Artemis had a complicated relationship. He really did love and appreciate her, but she was just so hard on him. Either way, it wasn't everyday that demigods got an opportunity to go to Olympus. He was certainly not going to miss his. Theo's thoughts drowned out the questions that followed Zeus' speech until he heard Trinity's voice. He was with her. It was time to get out of that room before the tension boiled over.

Theo got up and took the long way out of the hall, being sure to pat Alex on the shoulder and give her a reassuring smile before he left. Upon walking out of the hall, Theo caught sight of Trinity and Wes. For once, he tuned the noise out. He did watch though. Could he actually get satisfaction out of watching this? Wes was his friend, but Theo had always wanted a chance to show Trinity that he deserved her more than the lover boy. He shook his head. Not the time to be thinking about those things. He approached Trinity after Wes stormed off, letting an immense amount of caution into his tone of voice, "Hey, are you okay? That didn't look like a normal conversation with lover boy." Theo smiled, letting her know that his intentions were as pure as possible in asking. Maybe she would open up to him.

"Either way, I think you have a father waiting on you. Let that go. Tonight is going to be stressful enough.

Theo set his eyes toward the beach, waiting on Trinity to be ready to walk with him.

Invisibility is one of those gifts that only a true recluse could harness without the power of their godly parent. As she sat in the Hall, a quiet figure with small teal tinted toes tapping mindlessly against the soft pink sandal she wore, her dark gaze ventures to Zeus. She listened to his words, her head tilted just enough for her hair to fall along her shoulder; lackluster and unkempt. It must be one of those days where the ocean was uneasy, and she has plenty of them. So many people were upset and stunned, but she just felt... nervous. 'Tap, tap, tap' goes the toes of her shoe against the floor, her body in a fidgety fit from all the madness and tension broiling in the space shortly thereafter. There is that nasty shrieking sound from Trinity, followed by the obvious upset of Wes.

Used to it? Probably. Everyone should be. If there wasn't some malignant force aswirl, then there was something worse than it - more insidious than any kind of evil they would face.

Drama.

She remained, for now, an observant woman with her eyes flitting from one involved individual to another. Some sickly satisfied by the encounter gone awry, others not particularly surprised by it. When all was said and done, the storm having passed through the wide open space swiftly, she stood up and took her leave. She wasn't in the business of comforting screeching sirens. There were things to do - unpack, resettle - remind herself that she was supposed to be here for some reason. That she belonged despite the fact that she couldn't bother to be anything more than a grain of sand on the beach last year. Maybe this one would be different.

Of course, she saw all of Wes' misfortunes - from the twisted love thing he had going on with Trinity, to the nervous blonde that looked like she might break down in front of him for now reason. Boy, does she know that feeling! Then again, certain children with certain parents were so Shakespearean that she can't even bring herself to feel any empathy for her.

This whole place was some sick Shakespearean thing with a twinge of Greek tragedy.

On her way to her own cabin, she stops short of hearing the cacophony of an angry Aphrodite child throwing a massive tantrum. She should just keep going, honestly. Thus far, her dedication to the drama in this play has been relatively low. No one liked her as much because she was this way or that way, incapable of genuine connection without the possibility of being subject to her personal dramatics. Or maybe it was simply that no one knew how to approach her long enough to figure it all out. Regardless, she stands there for quite some time with her hands in the pockets of her dark blue jeans and that anxious tapping of her feet against the ground.

She takes a deep breath in, "Okay, so I have a small chance of being yelled at. I'm a big girl - I've grown. I won't cry about it," Liv gives herself a pep talk because some people are just kind of intimidating. A lot, really. She breathes all of that sucked in air out in one puff, and just... steps up to his door and lightly knocks on it. No, no, she can just walk in. Right? Oh, but then what if he throws something at her? She pressed her ear against the door, and goodness, did she look kind of goofy doing it.

Okay. There was a calm. Perhaps where there was once a violent and wrecking tempest, there is now just confusion. Slowly, a small hand pressed against the door, she gently pulls it open whilst turning the knob. It was do or die time! He was going to tell her to get the fuck out, or maybe she will be lucky enough to be told kindly to remove herself. The love fests of Aphrodite spawn are beyond her comprehension. She only knows feelings, and she knows them well. "Are you done throwing things? Can I come in?", she inquires with warm soothing tones, ripe with genuine concern - there are no tricks here. Liv doesn't just waltz in there like she is his best friend, but she just sort of pokes her head in to make sure she'd be safe from flying objects.

What is she doing? She just got back. She's crazy. Why get caught up in other people's business? And goodness, what a mess this place is! The toe of her sandal kicks away a piece of unfortunate debris so that she could just... not trip and fall on her face.

He waited patiently for their questions and found himself swallowing, but gave away no signs of the feelings towards his daughter's trial that he truly wished he didn't have to hold. To him, his daughter was already innocent, but with the lack of evidence, the scales weighed themselves in no favor for her. Without proof, his little girl was already guilty. As the God of the skies and Justice, he would have to put aside his love and prepare to take action. Lawfully. Zeus could not break his own rules, no matter how hard he wanted to for his children. Fair was fair.

"Can we go now?" The daughter of Ares asked, to which Zeus bowed his head to give her permission, right before she left the hall with the son of Aphrodite not too far behind her. His eyes tore away from the door as it slammed shut behind them, turning his attention back to the room.

“I was wondering why you've selected us all to spectate this trial, what purpose would we serve?”

"I have selected many of you because you will be the jury of said trial. That is the reason. I want each of you to stand and take a side. To speak for my daughter... or against her." he hated saying it like that, but they all needed to know that she would not be treated differently, just because of her lineage with Zeus. "I hope you are satisfied with the answer." he wasn't. He wanted to end it all this second, but it wasn't to be. The trial must go on.

"Mr. Zeus, eerr Sir...I mean, Zeus.. While I'm privileged to be invited to the trial, do we have to go? I guess I mean to ask what...what the outcomes will vary to, And how long we will be there for."

Zeus smiled as he watched the young boy stumble over his words with confusion on how to address him properly. He folded his arms. "Address me as Zeus. That's fine by me. And no, you don't have to go but as I said before, it would be wise if you care about those involved. It is only for a few hours to which the trial will end."

"Yeah, I have one. Is Hades going to be there? Since it was his daughter that got murdered, don't you think he has a say or at least the right to witness her trial? It seems fair to me."

Zeus recognized him as Hades son right away since the room seemed to have a slight chill as the young boy stood to voice his own question. "Hades is banned from Mount Olympus, but since this is about his daughter... I will grant him to be there. But, ONLY for the trial. You may speak on his behalf if you wish.. and of your own, of course."

"Sir, are we to dress for the occasion? It might seem a strange question, but if we are to be in the presence of the Gods, walking through the streets of Olympus... I do not wish to offend yourself, nor my mother, by not presenting myself appropriately."

Zeus didn't think it was a strange question. He thought it was respectively honest, but no doubt the son of Eris would internally be finding it hard. He seemed to be the type of person, like a son of Hades, to never want to bow down to anyone. "No," Zeus quickly gave his answer. "I understand and respect that you consider it, but you are our children. Wear what you feel most comfortable in." He says. "Just not nightwear," he quickly adds. Even the gods had a sense of humor. "If that is all? you can go." As most of the hall was now leaving, Zeus pulled his son to the side. "There is an hour before we leave... you must help me, son. If there is anything you think can help..."

"I told you not to call me that." Ajax took a deep breath and sighed heavily out of his nostrils. Falling out with his father wasn't going to get Alex anywhere, so... he took a step back mentally, and calmed himself. "There might be something."

Zeus nodded. "At least it's something. Go.." he said, his tone soft.

“I got no good ones for you. But it doesn’t seem as if you’ve got much choice, I'm the only one in this room not looking at you like traitor.” Alex warily looked off to the side, trying her best not to be so obvious as she looked to see if anyone was staring at her like an animal that needed to be locked behind bars.

From what she could tell from where she sat, angled away from everyone else, no one had their attention on her since they were busy answering her father's questions, and Wes angrily left the hall to follow Trinity.

Still... Pete was right, even if she didn't want him to be. No doubt all of them thought she was a traitor besides the obvious few that would stick by her no matter what the verdict/outcome was to be. Or so she thought.

Death? exile? did either matter anymore? How could anyone see her other than a monster now?

Theo had briefly passed her, his hand touching her shoulder which she didn't have the heart to recoil from even in her state. Was it him feeling sorry for her? or did he try to point out that he was there for her still even though there were no words exchanged? she let out a sigh. There was no point in worrying about who was or wasn't on her side now... the outcome wasn't going to be good either way.

When she thought Pete was done with her since he was getting ready to leave the hall with the rest, his next words came tumbling out of his mouth with no care in the world for how it made anyone feel. She could respect honesty, but Pete had maybe gone a little too far. “Just shag her mate.”

Holy, crap... did he just...

She quickly turned her head and looked at Duke.

Soon as Ajax left the hall, he sat down outside, almost in tears as he rubbed his knuckles against the palm of his hand. He didn't know what to do to save her, or how he was going to convince the Gods that Alex was worthy of saving still. There wasn't a bad bone in her body, she had never once hurt anyone intentionally, and if she did, then they more than likely deserved it.

He wasn't saying that Jennova deserved it, for she was just as much a victim as Alex was. Both pawns in Hades sick game of revenge against the Gods that cast him out for breaking the treaty that was set in place. He got greedy, wanted the golden throne for himself, so there was no one to blame other than himself.

He brushed his face along his arm, making sure that he didn't look like he had been crying and headed back to the hall to see if Evelyn was still there. Luckily, she was, so he headed on over to her. "Evelyn, do you have a moment? I really... I really need your help again. I'm sorry that I'm putting this on you, but I have no one else right now I can turn to. Please," he begged as he felt the tears brewing again. He hadn't broken down like this in a long time. Staying strong all the time for others, for Alex... it had all gotten a little too much for him today with the trial looming over their heads.

As Eve spoke, Evelyn smirked too. Eve only enforced that was she was quite the actress and evaluated a situation before diving in to rile it up. The next exchange between the girls was even better. “Oh, I plan to be satisfied,” the snake promised.

“I have no doubt,” Evelyn murmured, however, it appeared Eve lost interest looking elsewhere entirely.

She turned back to Evelyn with a taunting smile on her face. “If we were allies I'd offer to show you your destiny.” Eve went as far as to hold her hand out. Evelyn narrowed her eyes. She didn't believe in destiny; she was a ruler of it. “But I don't think we are.” Eve took her hand away quickly and walked away.

Tempting people by revealing their destiny was a big move and many would be tempted by the proposition. Evelyn wasn't one of them but it did show the daughter of Hera had many plans and tricks up her sleeve to get what she wanted. For instance, her crocodile tears in front of the son of Aphrodite. Evelyn watched the show with interest as she gravitated towards another devil the camp held. Wes barged pass Eve, and that was the epic conclusion.

Evelyn turned her attention to Sylas. She put a hand on his arm carefully, prompting him to stay seated in the hall as she sat next to him. In turn, hopefully, it allowed Sloane to escape from him for a little longer. “Sylas, I thought your question was surprisingly insightful.” Of course she wasn't there to play a groupie of his, but with such an uninteresting comment and appearing kind to him, no one would want to eavesdrop or hang around. And somehow she trusted Sylas was smart enough to know that too. Or not. He seemed to have a self-esteem issue being far too much esteem.

“You might want to tell your future wife to be more patient and ease off the poisonous tactics in Mount Olympus.” Evelyn threw her thumb back to the door, to Eve. “I know you're not an angel yourself nor run a 'being evil 101' course. It's just an idea.” The matter was Alex deserved the trial and the sentence had to be pure and uninterrupted. And Eve's foul play in Olympus would likely have Eve punished or cast out back to camp alone making her either more spiteful than ever or give her opportunity to tamper with belongings and the food supply in camp.

But what did Sylas get out of it? She couldn't think of anything but a friend with benefit. Maybe she could appeal to his ego. “Let's say she dies, where does your source of entertainment go?” Entertainment covering: chaos starter, eye candy, spectacle and potential friend for him. “And say she gets sent back to camp, she'll probably do some serious snooping, including on you. She could potentially poison the water or food and even you have to eat.” Evelyn looked him over for a moment trying to determine how her words were sitting with him presently. After all, Eve may have sounded like an asset, but she wasn't one to take a gamble on or rely on.

“Besides,” Evelyn leaned closer to Sylas, prepared to tell him the most important point by his ear. “I don't think a son of Eris needs help to create chaos.” Evelyn drew back to catch Sylas's eyes again. Her belief was true, a child of Eris could cause disorder all on their own with the right execution.

Evelyn took his hand and stood up as if he assured her balance, aiding his gentlemanly appearance while Zeus remained in the hall then smoothed down her clothes. “Thank you for your time. I'll see you at the trial.”

Every reaction from Sylas helped Evelyn gain a little more scope of him, assuring even if he didn't talk to Eve or she didn't listen, it wasn't a waste. Nothing Evelyn did was a waste, she never left it to chance.

Evelyn was intending to leave the hall before Ajax approached her. She knew it before he said anything, another task. "Evelyn, do you have a moment? I really... I really need your help again. I'm sorry that I'm putting this on you, but I have no one else right now I can turn to. Please."

She noticed he was getting quite upset and it was hard not to gape at. Demigods felt emotions too and he seemed the kind to suppress until he finally crumbled but in front of her - they who barely said hello in passing. “Ajax, you can do me a favor first. Take this conversation elsewhere.” She didn't mean in company, she simply wanted to relocate whatever delicate conversation they were going to have. “You have eyes that look up to you and eyes that are hungry for your demise,” she told him lowly. Although the information probably wasn't new to him, instead it served as a reminder. The wretched didn't need more ammunition against him.

Once they were out of earshot by a wall, so as to prevent any surprises, she crossed her arms. “What would you like help with? And just to clarify, you are aware I'm not a genie, right?” Evelyn couldn't make his every wish come true every time just because he said please. She was, however, willing to hear him out since he was so upset.

"Trinity!" She ignored him continuing to pace away. Suddenly, he grabbed her arm. She tried to rip his grip off her. "Stop! You are going to listen to me. Then beat the shit out of me, or whatever you want afterwards. But you will listen."

Trinity ground her teeth as her fists turned into balls as she was forced to stop and look at him again.

You know it! Everything I've ever done here has been for you! I've spent the past year trying to prove myself to you and be worthy of you!" He was getting louder and angry back at her which was game of him. He was really going to fight with her for the sake of bullshit.

Wes grabbed her shoulder. "Trinity! I—"

Trinity softened slightly as he did. “You what?” She waited to hear whatever it was. It was all coming out now anyway, he might as well have spat it out.

"I thought you knew me better than that." Trinity sighed out. Wes couldn't even look at her for a second but when he did a tear escaped. "You don't trust me...Forget it," He turned his back on her. "Don't follow me."

So now she was the asshole? Trinity watched his distancing figure then yelled out in frustration. She wanted to trust Wes but every tiny concern and doubt just multiplied ten fold in the hall. The girl had said "he asked me to his cabin tonight." Why make that up? Trinity sighed out and let the torrential rain cool her down.

"Hey, are you okay? That didn't look like a normal conversation with lover boy." She glanced to Theo clutching her hair.

“He won’t get his back up, won’t use his powers or utter a bad word to anyone else but he can speak to me like that?” She scoffed.

"Either way, I think you have a father waiting on you. Let that go. Tonight is going to be stressful enough." She shot Theo a glare even when what he said was true and made sense. But let being the only person Wes talks like that to go?

She sighed out with great effort and tilted her up to the now drizzling sky, closing her eyes. “Okay. Let me get changed, I'm not going as a drenched rat.”

She raced to her cabin and peeled off her layers giving herself a quick dry and shimmy with the towel, picked out a relatively easy outfit made smart with her cardigan despite Zeus assuring they could come in the attire they pleased, then rejoined Theo.

A quiet journey would have been a much more peaceful one, but it wasn't in her. “So I have a scenario, kind of like that dilemma game we played last time Zeus sent us to do something. A gorgeous woman approaches you and starts seducing you, but she's on the enemy team, how do you respond? Do you indulge both your desires or.... option b?” She smiled slightly. “Oh! Imagine it's your ex or favorite model or something.” Trinity sneaked looks at him frequently, intrigued to hear how Theo would respond to temptation over force. The womanizers of camp responding to lust and love was a curiosity of hers. She always saw no other option but to fight.

The trio finally made it to the beach where Athena was waiting for them. Like them she also was drenched, but it look liked it didn't affect her in the least. Seeing the three arrive, she wasted no time in speaking to them.

"I wondered where the sudden rain came from. It looks like Lia has had a rough time of it."

"Indeed mother, in fact, I am already questioning if coming here was the right idea." Heath stated.

He was always completely honest with his mother since he knew she would not only know if anyone were lying, but withholding information too. It was something he was trying to pick up himself.

"It is son, Lia needs to learn how to become stronger emotionally and mentally. She can't stay hidden from herself or others. I am very much aware that there are campers here who are capable of causing drama, it's in their nature, but there are just as many demigods here who will help her and you boys too."

"She's right Heath. Lia has already gotten treated nicely by that guy, Duke, and Aphrodite's son, uuuhhh, what was his name again?" Ethan stated.

"Aww, that be Wesley I think. Poor boy has been through a lot, but it's not my place to tell you so. And Duke is Hephaestus's son, I believe. Good friend of Zeus's children."

"Speaking of Zeus, ma'am, why is Alex on trial? I was just caught off guard so much that I don't fully comprehend the situation."

"You'll learn soon enough, young Ethan. I will say this though, it has something to do with what happened last year. You and the other demigods will be watching Alexandria's trial. You three will definitely have an advantage coming into this blind. Don't worry all of the facts and questions you have will be answered there. It's best to judge this as unbiased as possible to make sure this is a fair and just trial. I shall see to it. And unlike others, it'll be easier for you three since you don't have close connections to those directly involved."

"That still might be hard for Iliana, mother. She picks up emotions like a sponge after all. She could easily become biased because of her empathy.

"Give her a bit more credit then that Heath. Anyway, why don't you three go change really quick and get a new notepad and pen for Lia here. I believe Zeus was plan on giving you guys an hour to get ready."

It was then that Iliana woke up and saw Athena. Her eyes widen in surprised and she tried to get a grasp on the situation. First thing she noticed was that she was being carried by Heath and her notepad was missing. Then she tried recalling how she ended up like this. Soon all the memories came back to her. Darn it! She had done it again! Let her emotions get the better of her. She was starting to get tired of it. She looked at Athena again with confusion in her eyes.

Athena smiled at the young lady and replied, "Hello Lia. Nice to see you've recovered a bit. You brother and Ethan are about to take you back to your cabin so you three can change and also get you a new notepad and pen. Then you'll come back here and travel to Olympus with the other campers. Zeus's daughter, Alexandria, is going to be put on trial and all of you are to watch it. Don't worry, you'll have time to see your mother. I know Demeter has been eager to see you. Did you understand all of that?"

Iliana nodded and not wanting to be a physical burden anymore, tried getting out of Heath's arms. Seeing what she was attempting to do, Heath set her down and helped her steady herself.

"Let's go, Lia."

When the three made it to their cabin, they wasted no time in changing into dry clothes and getting one of Iliana's other notepads and another pen. This time, Iliana decided to put the items in a small tote bag for protection. They started heading out but soon saw a brunette standing in front someone's door. Iliana was the first to notice and it didn't take her long to feel a bit of emotion coming from that cabin. It was sadness as well as anger. Was it Wesley? She remembered him being very sad. She also wondered who the brunette was. She was very nervous, that's for sure. Curious to see if this was Wesley's cabin, she heads toward it. The boys stop though and follow her. It wasn't common for Iliana to make sudden decisions, but whenever it did, the guys just went with it.

Approaching the cabin, they saw that the brunette spotted them. Ethan was quick to speak to her.

"Hi there, sorry if we scared you. I am Ethan, this is Heath and his adopted sister, Iliana. Iliana here decided to check out this cabin it seems. Uh, Lia, did you want to tell us why?"

Iliana blushed. She quickly pulled out her notepad before writing in it and showing it to the guys.

It said, "Sorry, I think this is Wesley's cabin and I wanted to check on him. He's so sad."

The boys nodded before Ethan explained to the brunette, "Iliana can't talk so she communicates with us through her notepad here. She thinks this cabin belongs to someone she just met and wanted to see he was alright because something just happened to him to make him upset. We still don't know why yet. Do you mind if we wait here with you?"

The last question was directed at both Iliana and brunette. Iliana shook her head. It was fine if they stayed with her.

Image Ajax and Zeus spoke about a common thread whether they liked it or not and that was Alex. Once the meeting was concluded, the dark-haired man speaking to Alex got up and pat Duke on the chest. “Just shag her mate.” Duke stood upright and glanced at Alex. It wasn't a bad idea and for a moment he saw himself tipping over Alex and kissing her passionately and things heating up from there. Duke was inching closer to her without realizing but when he caught himself he stopped. It was an entirely inappropriate comment and thoughts that filled his mind. Duke didn't want to 'just shag her' like it was an ordinarily easy task, he felt differently and no man with shaggy black hair was going to tell him otherwise.

He caught her wide-eyed stare at him. "I think he likes you," he told Alex."So who is the new guy, Al? Friend or foe?" Duke decided to cut the options into two since he didn't want a whole speech about the new guy. A name, heritage and brief thoughts would have sufficed.

Duke sighed gently. Alex was no doubt under a lot of pressure with the trial coming up, but Duke had such tunnel vision when his own concerns were involved, besides, maybe it'd be a nice distraction to talk about other things. "I noticed Wes's arm wasn't delivered. I know you have your separate mountain of issues," he added quickly. "But maybe helping other people, doing a couple good deeds for others will make you feel better and help your case." That way, before they left camp, Alex could have left a fresh and pleasant impression on people. She could just be known as a boisterous girl again which is what she was before the murder tainted her appearance.

Old Alex needed to come back again and soon. Duke could remember the bundle of joy and outrageous extrovert but could the others? Duke believed they would speak against her prosecuting her only as the dull monster. "Your brother and father are stressed, Alex. You can help your own case too."

"When we get out of this, the next party or celebration we have, promise me you'll be the life of it." Duke smiled a little.

Image Keith nodded as Zeus answered all the questions openly and honestly then jumped as someone had slid beside him. "What did a'miss?"

Keith looked at the man he was not familiar with and leaned away from him. He was openly owning the space and Keith wasn't a fan. Another brute to torment him likely, hooray. "Um...the daughter of Zeus," Keith pointed in her direction hoping the temperamental children of Zeus didn't spot it and want to kill him for daring to point and speak about her, "is going on a trial. She, uh, accidentally murdered another demigod." God he felt like an idiot. "Accidentally killed" because that happens all the time. She wasn't freaking Lennie from Mice and Men. "We are going to attend and potentially determine her fate," he added uncertainly. That's what Zeus had said but it was a surreal power to have in his own experience.

Keith got to his feet slowly, almost asking permission from the blonde boy if he was excused. "I have to figure out my own side."

An elbow knocked him in the back, making him collapse on the table. He stayed there for a moment, gripping the table and pressing his forehead to the hard surface, letting no one see the tears and frustration in his eyes. Keith straightened slowly and held his stomach where his arrow wound was. He swallowed a lump in his throat and met the new boy's eyes and nodded with as much dignity as possible. "Nice meeting you."

Keith shuffled off. He needed to compose himself in his cabin for a couple of minutes then would meet his no good peer demigods at the beach. He hated camp, why did he even come back.

After he was done moping and worked on pulling himself together, he exited his cabin with a deep breath and treked to the beach.

Image "I don't know, but I hope so. I fear this is her doing. She was the last person to see him before he died." Andy replied. "Will you help me get him to her?"

Mason looked to Daniel. At the moment, Daniel saw Mason as malicious and untrustworthy, it was evident in the way he acted like a cornered child facing bullies so it might have been a bit difficult. "You mean like put a bag over his head and abduct him?" He smiled though if it helped Daniel become himself and Andy's peace of mind, he would.

As the hall cleared out slowly, Andy leaned towards him. "I will testify, if I am called upon... For Jennova and for you."

He looked at Andy and shifted his body to face her. "I appreciate that and I’ve appreciated everything you’ve done for us. You probably will be called because you were one of the first to...see it and handle it all. But you don't need to testify if you don't want to. Ajax hates it when you speak against Alex, I'm used to the looks that say drop dead but not you." Andy wasn't weak and fragile, nor submissive. But he didn't think she could handle being loathed by her boyfriend. "I just don't want you in another ugly situation. It'd probably be good for you to lay low for a while." Mason didn't know why he bothered saying it since he couldn't remember a time Andy was reserved.

There was another thud noise and Daniel was sprawled on the table. What a pathetic sight and it upset Mason all the more. This weasel version had to go before everybody snuffed him out as completely vulnerable. Mason headed out, in desperate desire to get out and change clothes for the trial. He knew better than to look like a bum when he was trying to appeal his case. He wouldn't let it go without a hell of a fight. And it's not like he even had to make up a story or lie.

Mason wrestled with his tie then finally prevailed and smoothed down his tie in the reflection then shrugged into his jacket. He couldn't help but smirk a little. Alex was in trouble. With the final touches done, Mason waited at the beach.

Son of Zeus || Hex: Green

Image Before he could say anything else, she had taken him to a much more secluded area, away from the rest of the camp so they're not within earshot. He listened closely, and she was right. He thought it was nice of her to care about his reputation, but while he couldn't look weak, he also couldn't help being human either. "Thank you." he told her, for being the level headed one. Luckily no one had noticed his slight break down. He'd have to force himself to be strong for longer - for Alex's sake. No doubt if she saw him in a vulnerable state, it would only make her feel worse.

He took out the lipstick that his sister had given to him earlier.

"I'm not sure to what extent your powers can reach, but I need prove Alex is innocent somehow. She told me that this is cursed by Hades himself and that his daughter planted it within Alex's room. Hades knew it was my sister's favorite since she tends to wear the pale shade often." he explained and handed it gently to her. "I need to somehow have the curse on it traced, and if it's still lingering there we need to trap it somehow." He had no idea what he was talking about, and no doubt Evelyn was going to be as confused as he was. They were leaving for the trial soon, and this had to be the answer. "It's okay if you can't... I can surely ask Hecate under the oath of my father so she can't back out or anything."

Image He had not left the hall just yet. He stood staring out of the window, his thumb running back and forth against his lips with the sound of a clock ticking behind him, counting down every second toward the trial.

Hopefully, his son had an idea, because no doubt all would be lost for his little girl if there wasn't. Her bright light would be taken from this world, and into the next.

For years he had kept Hades close to him, trusted him, and all it took for betrayal!? was greed. Hades had been (other than Ares) his most trusted consort. A God that was powerful to be by the Kings side in battle had the honor of facing the Titans that still had their vendetta with Zeus for killing his father Cronus.

No longer wanting to drown within his own head, Zeus left the hall without interrupting his daughter who had the company of Hephaestus's son - Duke, but Zeus did smile at him briefly while he made his exit.

Image
Daughter of Zeus || Hex: #d63b71

Image Even now Duke managed to still make her blush, and for the first time in a while... she actually managed a little smile. She held her palm to her cheek as she turned away from the gaze he had locked on her, due to her own thoughts spiraling as he unknowingly made his way toward her slightly before he stopped.

No doubt his thoughts were just unwillingly made due to Pete's influence, but her own feelings and thoughts were genuine and true. She had to be realistic, Duke had never made it clear about how he felt about her, other than he saw her as Ajax's little sister. She never wanted someone to see her as just his younger sibling, or the one they feel they can't get close to in fear of Ajax grabbing them for a serious talk/warning.

"I think he likes you," At first, she thought he had admitted to liking her, but his question denied it. Pete was actually a good looking guy behind that personality of his. He seemed bad, but not evil. Nice, but not soft.

Alex shook her head. "I doubt that." she told him, fiddling with a bowl that lay empty on the table. The thoughts of him had returned. "It's a shame you don't like me." she wanted to say, but she didn't want to embarrass herself or put an awkward feeling between them both. If that were even possible. With how long they had known each other outside and inside of the camp, surely they had gotten passed that stage by now.

"So who is the new guy, Al? Friend or foe?" She wasn't actually sure, but she was hoping he would be a friend at least.

"Pete. Son of Hera. I... don't really know that much about him, so I don't know yet."

Duke sighed gently. She had no idea what was on his mind as Duke wasn't really the type to talk about his own feelings, but she felt as though he would just as worried about the trial. He cared about her, there was no doubt about that. "I noticed Wes's arm wasn't delivered. I know you have your separate mountain of issues," he added quickly. "But maybe helping other people, doing a couple good deeds for others will make you feel better and help your case." Damn it, how could she have forgotten about her best friend and his arm? her mind, as warped as it felt, had left black spots in her memory. The monster that scratched away at what humanity she had left, was doing its best to make her forget everything. Especially the wonderful person she was before. He was right, she needed to do something. Anything. "Your brother and father are stressed, Alex. You can help your own case too."

"I know, and I'm sorry. You're right. I'll go and get it now and give it to him. After everything he's been through, he deserves something good to come out of all this mess that I've caused. She hadn't said sorry in a while, so maybe that monster inside of her head was finally dying now that Alex was accepting her fate.

"When we get out of this, the next party or celebration we have, promise me you'll be the life of it." Duke smiled a little. She definitely would try. It broke her heart to think she would have to leave him and the others behind.

"That's if I even make it out of there." she says quietly, her voice breaking slightly as the words tumble from her soft lips. She furrowed her brows apologetically as she tilted her head at him, then turned and headed toward the hall's doors.

Image The guy had leaned away from him, causing Cayden to smile. He had that effect on most people. "Um...the daughter of Zeus," as he pointed in the girl's direction, Cayden turned his head.

Damn.... she's cute. he thought. Looking her over with a smile.

"is going on a trial. She, uh, accidentally murdered another demigod."

cute, and dangerous? nice. he kept his eyes on her. It was a shame she was already in the company of someone else.

"We are going to attend and potentially determine her fate," he added uncertainly.

"Cool... Is she popular with other guys?" it definitely looked like she was, and Cayden hadn't really been listening to the guy beside him. Not completely. The bits he caught were plenty.

"I have to figure out my own side." When an elbow knocked him in the back, the poor guy collapsed on the table, and stayed there for a moment, gripping the table and pressing his forehead to it. Cayden quickly turned his attention back to him. Looking him over.

"Shit, dude... you okay?" he asked while chuckling. He even placed his hand onto the guys back.

"Nice meeting you." As the strange guy shuffled off, Cayden's grin faded. He frowned and turned his head to see where he had rushed off to. He was like a whippet, gone in seconds. He shrugged it off and headed out to find his cabin so he could get ready for the trial.

He found it eventually as he quickly got a member of staff to help him, and just threw on some clothes that looked decent enough for a trial. Outfit

God of War || Hex: #b32626

Image Ares waited patiently beside Athena as the Demigods prepared themselves. He could sense that Alex was still on the grounds, so there was no need to go after her just yet.

If anything like her father, then the girl would be smart enough to know that it was pointless to run. Ares would track her down in no time.

With no sign of his daughter yet, if she had decided to go, he watched proudly as his son made his way to the beach dressed casually smart. There was no dress code, but it was nice of them to consider looking their best for Mount Olympus. Was it all for nothing? well, considering the means of travel they needed to take to get to their destination... maybe.

Behind Ares stood a heard of horses, and Cayden froze once he was able to see the wings attached to their backs. "You have got to be kiddin' me, right? for fu--" he stopped himself from continuing with that sentence. "Seriously, dad!? flying horses? I haven't even sat on one, let alone ride it."

"You'll be fine. Hold on, but just... don't pull on their mane too much. They have a tendency to throw people off when they do that." The look on Cayden's face made Ares smirk.

Cayden caught it. "Liar." he laughed before they got into a playful wrestle.

"Yeah... or you could get the arms and I could get the legs." Andy laughed softly. "Although Keith doesn't seem very threatening. I could take him," she added with a playful smirk. In honesty she didn't like the idea of having to fight her brother... or his body anyway to get him to their mother. She hoped that he'd come willingly. If not? She'd cross that bridge when they got there.

After Andy commented about testifying in the trial, Mason turned to face her. "I appreciate that and I’ve appreciated everything you’ve done for us. You probably will be called because you were one of the first to...see it and handle it all. But you don't need to testify if you don't want to. Ajax hates it when you speak against Alex, I'm used to the looks that say drop dead but not you."

Andy's expression softened at his comment as the corner of her mouth curved into a slight smile. She was beyond the point of caring if people hated her or not, it never stopped her before. But it seemed that Mason didn't like the idea of her being in the same boat as him.

"I just don't want you in another ugly situation. It'd probably be good for you to lay low for a while."

"I don't care. It wouldn't be the first time in my life I've been hated. And you wouldn't hate me." Her smile grew slightly as she playfully nudged his arm, trying to lighten the mood slightly. Mason looked so serious. But he shouldn't be worrying about her when the trial was more important. "I'll be ok," she added, incase he needed to actually hear it from her own lips.

Andy stood up as Mason did, exiting after him. The second they stepped out of the hall they were met by rain. She sighed slightly, now having no choice but to change before they head to Olympus. Olympus. For some reason that thought put her on edge. Andy walked alongside Mason in a comfortable silence as they headed for the cabins, diverting to go towards her own.

Once in her cabin, Andy stared at her closet for what was definitely longer than she ever had before. She never was much of a girly girl, so dresses were rare in her wardrobe and nothing seemed to be remotely... professional? Do you dress professional for a trial amongst Gods? She stood there vexed for too long. She waved her hand making some ridiculous fashion magazine appear in her hand that she would never read in her leisure time. Andy flipped through it making disgusted faces at half of the pictures. "There has to be something normal in here."

When she found something decent, that didn't feel completely strange for her, she set the magazine down on her bed. She closed her eyes and snapped her fingers. When she looked back toward her reflection she was in a modest dress that made her look like more of a girl than she normally did. Her brows furrowed as she looked at the clutch purse she accidentally conjured along with it that rested on the bed. Andy nearly left it, but decided to wave her hand over it casting some sort of expansion charm upon it. For some reason, the idea of going to Olympus bothered Andy and she didn't like going in there naked. She could conjure a weapon if she needed it, if her magic worked up there. So, in a last minute decision she conjured a set of throwing knives, a shield and a sword into the tiny clutch.

With a final glance over her appearance in the mirror, Andy exited her cabin and headed toward the beach. Once she was about to step into the sand, she pulled off her shoes, holding the straps hooked in her right index and middle finger. Her feet sank into the warm sand as she made her way over to Mason. Andy smiled when she caught his attention, tucking her clutch under her arm. "Well it is official, Mr. Hughson. You clean up far better than myself." She smirked slightly as she fixed his tie. A habit she acquired helping her father as a young girl.

"Oh, by the way," Andy added as she moved to stand next to him, shoulder to shoulder. She brought her clutch before him and cracked it open, just enough for him to see the contents, then closed it quickly. "Just in case."

Sloane sat there in an awkward silence as Sylas sat opposite her, never diverting his gaze. Her eyes were fixed on the surface of the table while her hands ringed themselves against the hem of her shirt. No matter how much she wanted wanted to get up and walk away, the second she'd try to do anything he would there with her... To follow her, chastise her, or just make her feel like utter and complete shit like he normally did.

She looked up when a blur of crimson hair moved itself beside her brother. Evelyn? Sloane's brows furrowed slightly as she watched the girl place her hand on Sylas's arm, suggesting for him to remain in his seat to talk with her. Sloane took the opportunity to stand up, catching a glare from her brother in the process. "I need to go change before we leave," she said. If she left without giving and explanation to Sylas, she'd never hear the end of it later.

Sloane scurried out of the main hall, instantly into a deluge of rain. Her face scrunched up as she groaned at the precipitation. Her gaze was focused on her feet as she made her way toward the tree line in the direction of the cabins, trying not to slip in mud or on a tree root. But with her attention focused on the ground, she didn't notice she was quickly closing in on the new camper who sat with Alex earlier. Sloane didn't realize him before her until she quite literally bumped into his back.

"I beg your pardon," Sloane apologized as she took a step back, brushing her wet hair from her face. She didn't know his name and he had to be new... or newer than herself and her brother. She tried to memorize everyone's names even if she had no intention of ever talking to them.

She was half tempted to leave the conversation at that and head in her own direction. Sloane had to get changed and get to the beach like the rest of the campers. But her curiosity overcame her into at least desiring to know his name if nothing else. She didn't like being in the dark about certain things. "I uh, don't think we've met. I'm Sloane Astor." Sloane tried to give at least a fraction of a smile while extending her hand toward him.

Wes had been trying to calm his breathing, his hand rubbing the back of his head as he sat on the ground. Then he heard the door to his cabin open. He instantly went from broken down to defensive, grabbing whatever was on the floor beside him, ready to throw it at the door. Wes didn't know who he expected to be at the door. As much as part of him wanted it to be Trinity, who didn't listen to him... Chased after him to apologize, he knew better. She was too damn proud and definitely too stubborn. When his gaze settled upon Liv, his eyes widened slightly and his grasp on the object loosened.

"Are you done throwing things? Can I come in?"

Wes was beyond caring what he looked like at the moment, red eyed and blotchy. "Liv? When did you get back?" He sighed, running his hand over his face as he tried to calm himself down. He then motioned his hand toward her letting her know that she could enter. With a final groan, he pushed off the ground and moved to his feet. Wes started to walk toward his kitchen to offer Liv something to drink when he noticed 3 more campers approaching. God damn it. He was usually one of the most social people at camp, never had an issue talking to anyone always nice. But it seemed the one time he blew his top, everyone congregated to him like moths to a flame.

"Hi there, sorry if we scared you. I am Ethan, this is Heath and his adopted sister, Iliana. Iliana here decided to check out this cabin it seems. Uh, Lia, did you want to tell us why?"

They must not have noticed Wes within the cabin, instead talking toward Liv who still remained in the doorway. His hand gripped the edge of the counter, his knuckles going white. He could barely see them through the crack in the door. Who was Lia? Was that Iliana? Wes sighed. Before he was contemplating being rude to the males and shooing them off. But now he had to put on his best I'm ok face.

"Iliana can't talk so she communicates with us through her notepad here. She thinks this cabin belongs to someone she just met and wanted to see he was alright because something just happened to him to make him upset. We still don't know why yet. Do you mind if we wait here with you?"

Wes walked over to the door. Standing to the side of Liv, he opened the door all the way, revealing himself... And the chaotic state his cabin was in. "Hey, Iliana... and guys?" He didn't know the other two beyond them introducing themselves to Liv. But Wes was not in the mood to place nice to new campers, not right now. He knew Liv, they might not have been best friends, but he knew her. "I am... I'll be fine." He doubted anyone believe a single word that came out of his mouth, but he wasn't in the mood to care. "Sorry, I need to get ready."

He nothing more to add, so he slowly closed the door shutting out Iliana and the two other guys with her. Wes looked over at Liv, his expression was as transparent as glass. He was angry, sad and confused, but it wasn't toward her. He motioned his hand toward the kitchen. "If you're thirsty, help yourself." Wes grabbed a near by chair, turning it upright for her before he headed down the hall toward his bedroom.

Wes opened and closed drawers a bit louder than what was normal, grabbing the first things he found that were clean and didn't have a bunch of buttons. He'd probably accidentally rip them off trying to button up a shirt in his current mood. "I'm assuming were in the main hall earlier?" He didn't see her, but generally Wes was terrible at noticing other people when he was being made to look like an idiot.

He stumbled around his room getting dressed, cursing under his breath when he got temporarily frustrated trying to tie his shoes or button his jeans. If Wes was in his right mind, he probably would have dressed nicer for the trial. After all, he could have been a character witness. But at the current moment he couldn't give two shits about Olympus or the trial, or even looking decent. He had half a mind to stay locked up in his cabin and not go. But knowing his mother, if he didn't arrive with the others, Aphrodite would come and get him in the blink of an eye.

Wes walked out of his room, pulling on a jacket. He looked to Liv with about as much enthusiasm as a corpse. "We should probably go. Do you need to stop by your cabin?" The thought briefly crossed his mind that if he arrived at the beach with another female, Trinity would be in a rage but at this point... Did he care? At the rate she was going, she was never going to trust him no matter how much he tried to prove himself to her. He knew he did nothing wrong, and he'd still be faithful to her even when she was furious with him... Regardless if she believed him or not.

Sylas felt a hand on his shoulder, glancing toward its owner as Evelyn took a seat beside him. He flashed her a smile while out of the corner of his eye he saw his sister take the opportunity to scurry out of the hall. Pathetic. “Sylas, I thought your question was surprisingly insightful.”

He couldn't help the slightly surprised and somewhat smudge expression that graced his face. He quirked a brow, turning more of his attention toward the attractive redhead. "Really now?" Sylas leaned forward in his seat, resting his elbow upon the table, his chin in his palm. She was a curious little minx, he'd give her credit for that. And if Evelyn wanted to play the part of a friendly conversation then he could play along. Although their definitions of friendly had different meanings.

“You might want to tell your future wife to be more patient and ease off the poisonous tactics in Mount Olympus.” Evelyn motioned over her shoulder motioning toward someone.

Keeping with the charade, Sylas raised his hand to brush back a strand of ruby hair behind Evelyn's ear, leaning in a bit closer to her. He used the shift in movement to get a glance at the girl she motioned towards without blatantly staring. After all, it was rude to stare. He had a good idea who the girl was, although he hadn't personally met her yet. Was she already causing so much trouble to warrant being called his future wife? Interesting. "I didn't realize I had a suitor so soon. And when did I request your services, match maker?" He smirked toward his current company.

“I know you're not an angel yourself nor run a 'being evil 101' course. It's just an idea.”

"Damn, I must have forgotten my 'Evil Orientation guide' name tag in my cabin. I do apologize," he mused. His calm demeanor nor smirk unwavering.

“Let's say she dies, where does your source of entertainment go? And say she gets sent back to camp, she'll probably do some serious snooping, including on you. She could potentially poison the water or food and even you have to eat.”

Well Sylas was impressed. Evelyn has some tenacity coming to him, of all people, to try and tame this new nuisance. "I'm almost flattered by your concern about my well-being... Almost." She played a good game, talked a good talk too. Part of him could even admit he finds it attractive, such a worthy opponent. "You underestimate me, my dear." He lowered his voice to barely above a whisper, holding her gaze intently. "To think that one daughter of Hera would make me fret?"

“Besides,” Evelyn said as she leaned closer to him. Sylas couldn't but quirk his brow, running the tip of his thumb along his bottom lip as she spoke in his ear. “I don't think a son of Eris needs help to create chaos.”

Before Evelyn could withdraw, Sylas somehow managed to close the distance more. His fingertips brushed her hair from the nape of her neck, gently cupping its curve with his hand. His breath could be felt on her ear as he whispered. "You play a good game. I am impressed." His fingertips brushed the soft skin on the back of her neck as he continued. "But if you think sweet words and reverse psychology will get me to tame the trouble makers... I shall have to disappoint you. I am no one's puppet." Sylas slowly withdraws from Evelyn, hold her gaze as he returned to his casual position.

Sylas sat there calmly as Evelyn took his hand as she stood, as if she needed the balance. She didn't, but he appreciated the act. It was exceptional. Before she released his hand, Sylas brought it to his lips, giving it a kiss like any good gentleman would. “Thank you for your time. I'll see you at the trial.”

"Oh, you will," he concluded with a nod, watching her as she went to leave. Sylas couldn't help but watch a little longer than he should when she was stopped by Ajax. No doubt the prodigal brother was needing aid in a way to fix the trial. How upsetting. Couldn't people let the judicial system do what they do best... After all the camp would, no doubt, be better and safer without a temperamental murderer running around.

Sylas took the opportunity to slip out of the main hall while everyone else was already making their way to their cabins, the beach, or preoccupied with who knows what. As he made his way to his cabin, he couldn't help but think back on the conversation he had with Evelyn. But what really made him curious is how she thought she could manipulate him into doing her bidding. Did he care about taming the Hera children? No. But since the daughter was causing so much trouble... He couldn't help but feed that curiosity by talking to her at some point. What harm could it do?

It didn't take him long to slip into his cabin and change. Since Zeus said nothing of the sort about dressing formally, Sylas decided to dress well but nothing with a tie or over the top. He highly doubted he'd even be part of the trial beyond potentially raising his hand to give his vote. He ran a hand back through his hair, checking his appearance once more in the mirror before heading off to the beach.

There she was, standing at the entryway with the door cracked ajar and her dark eyes peering in, watching him stare up at her in the midst of his red-eyed confusion. There is something endearing about him in this state, even if he thought he looked like shit. It is quiet, even as he inquired into her return, "Liv? When did you get back?". It didn't seem, at first, that she picked up on his voice because the normally amiable man's demeanor had gone from jovial to chaos, and it's disheartening. When her gaze flees from him to survey the condition of the interior, a noticeable wince crinkled her pallid features. Yet, she smiles at him, albeit the expression stretching weak and thin across her lips in a display of sympathy without the nagging needless words to follow, "Just earlier this afternoon, actually," she answers finally.

Just as she thought she'd get a foot in through the door after pushing it open a little more, three others approach them. Ethan's voice causes her to jump in a small startle, "Hi there, sorry if we scared you. I am Ethan, this is Heath and his adopted sister, Iliana. Iliana here decided to check out this cabin it seems. Uh, Lia, did you want to tell us why?". Turning swiftly, her eyes flit from Ethan to Iliana to Heath before she can feel Wes creeping up behind her.

At that moment, she takes a couple of steps back since he had completely opened the door. The act of him being so close to her was pure torture, and it wasn't his fault. It couldn't be helped that all the gals were head over heels for the man. He exudes a strong sense of attraction that is hard to deny, but it only takes the angry voice of a certain Ares daughter to crash through her skull as a firm reminder that-- yes, she could be friend with Wes without jumping on him. It was better for her health that way, honestly. Still, his presence looming over her causes her to freeze slightly, and it's likely noticeable to others. It's not until he shuts the door on the three that she feels the fear drop from the pit of her stomach to her feet. They felt like boulders tied to heavy chains as she drags herself slowly to the kitchen area.

Did he just shut her in his cabin with three other people as witness to it?

"If you're thirsty, help yourself, he'd inform her, and she waves a hand through the air to decline while seating herself. Was it hot in here, too? She brought her fingers up to the sides of her face, and in all of its pallor, it's flushed. He must like it at a certain temperature! That is certainly it. She gives her head a shake or two, clearing her throat and trying to picture Trinity choking her to death or something. Yes, yes-- that was it. His room is finally reaching a steady degree that is bearable and no longer making her as red as the poor guy's eyes.

"I'm assuming were in the main hall earlier?"

"Yes, and you probably don't want to talk about it, so I won't make you. I was just on my way to my own cabin when I heard the raucous. I just wanted to make sure you weren't going to get hurt, and also to drag you to the beach regardless of whether you want to or not." That's when his next words come, "We should probably go. Do you need to stop by your cabin?"

"I do need to go to my cabin, actually. I already have a dress laying out, so it will be quick," she replies, sliding off of the chair and venturing on out of his living space with him in tow, but at a safe platonic distance. They'd endure a short but quiet walk, which is always nice. Liv may not have much to offer him in the way of advice or kind words, but she could walk with him and let him know in a quiet sort of way that she is right here if he needs it. They weren't best friend, or even good friends-- it didn't matter to her.

For his good, and her own, she'd make him wait outside of her cabin. Fifteen minutes tick by before she emerges from behind the door, trying to pull it close with the toe of a black pump while adjusting the blue collar of an impossibly cute dress. She thought it was casual enough! The bright attire seemed to ignite those lackluster waves of brown into a spirited auburn hue, and when she'd done fiddling around with her collar, she looks up at him with eyes that had a flicker of green now. Maybe her attire does judge the mood of her eyes and hair after all! It could also be that she's excited to be headed to the beach. Naturally.

She doesn't wait for him to look at her, or notice even if he does. She's well on her way toward the beach; breathing in the crisp saline breeze as they draw closer. This becomes another trip paced casually and quietly, her hands with fingers interlaced at the lap of her patterned dress and a respectable distance just in case his love interest was down there waiting.

When she does speak, it is really out of place because no one around her spoke to her about anything in the realm of her next sentence, "Oh, I am glad to be back!" There's a smile on her features, and she looks at peace when her heels first sink into hot sand-- brighter, more confident. Something scuttles out of the sand; a small crab. The question would not be to whom, but to what did she speak to. When she realizes that she probably looks crazy, she kicks sand at the hard-shelled creature as if to hide it and pretend it wasn't there.

Talking to herself is less crazy than to a crab. Right? Right. Crisis averted, she thinks to herself.

... Probably not. Wes is upset, not stupid.

“Okay. Let me get changed, I'm not going as a drenched rat.”

Theo let the rain wash over him as he nodded his approval to Trinity, letting her get a few paces away before he glanced over his shoulder to watch her walk. She even walked like a warrior, strong and graceful. He really did admire her, but there was no reading her motives. Was it just about the attention Theo had always given her, or was there more?

Theo let his mind wander to the events preparing to unfold. Seeing his mom would be one thing, but having to watch one of his friends go on trial was another thing entirely. It stressed Theo out. Regardless of the some of the decisions Alex had made, Theo knew that her strength and determination was needed around camp. If she could just get out of the rut she's in...

Theo snapped back to reality as he heard Trinity's footsteps approaching them. He smiled down at her when she appeared next to him, starting to walk slowly towards the beach, falling in step with her. He could feel the uneasy vibe she was giving off. Theo wandered what could possibly be going through her mind.

“So I have a scenario, kind of like that dilemma game we played last time Zeus sent us to do something. A gorgeous woman approaches you and starts seducing you, but she's on the enemy team, how do you respond? Do you indulge both your desires or.... option b? Oh! Imagine it's your ex or favorite model or something.”

Theo slowed his pace to a stop, turning to Trinity, trying to find the right words to reassure her. He placed his hand on the back of his head, scratching there as he bit his lip and mulled over the best answer. He wasn't sure where this came from. He was starting to regret his decision to tune out Trinity and Wes' fight. This had to have something to do with that. He felt a twinge of anger in his gut at the idea of Wes hurting Trinity. He let out a deep breath before giving a measured response.

"It really all depends on the situation. I mean I've done the whole meaningless hook ups thing, and it isn't worth all that much. There's not an ex I even care to see ever again... a model might be a different story," Theo let a light laugh sneak out between sentences. "Ya know, I'd let you come over before my favorite model. No way I'd risk pissing you off for a cheap hook up."

Theo made a strained face. He wasn't sure if that necessarily came out the way he wanted it to, but hopefully he got the point across.

Eve frowned at Wes’ angry back marching off on her, after Trinity. She swiped at the fake tear pooling under her left eye. So much for the big teddy bear people seemed to think he was, he’d totally just brushed her off. She still followed after him though, pausing in the doorway of the main hall away from their sight and focus, though his screaming voice was loud enough to reach where she stood. And she couldn’t help a satisfied smile stretching across her face. The Barbie and Ken of camp had been shockingly easy to break up. She stayed where she was watching the hunky blonde, swoop in for the cleaning up duty. Trinity was sure building up herself a harem, and this second boy was just painting a big red target on his back.

Eventually they all drifted away and out of earshot, the rest of the main hall following suit. So she slipped into the shadows, teleporting through them to the beach. Or at least to the shadowed tree line just next to the beach. She hadn’t bothered to change, didn’t want mother dearest thinking she’d made an effort.

She saw Wes approaching the beach first, and with a brunette by his side. Geez, he was a brave man. She made a deliberate act and walking over to him, "Sorry, you're shirt tag is hanging out, and I just hate that." She kept he tone friendly, without a hint of flirt, but it might not look that way to a certain jealous blonde. And with a smile she reached up and played with his collar pretending to tuck in a non existent tag. Though she used to physical contact with his neck to influence his thoughts. That brunette next to you is gorgeous.

Leaving Wes before Trinity beat her brain in, her eyes landed on Mason, dressed the part of grieving brother. She had to admit that he looked good in a suit, and her instincts to play with him kicked in. Plus, maybe now was her time to finally meet the Andromeda Bolton. She pranced over to the pair catching the tail end of the conversation, and getting herself a glimpse into Andy’s clutch.

Eve let out a low whistle as she broke into the conversation, inserting herself in between the two. “Wow, you really are a girl of many talents.” She said, with an open and friendly grin. Hooking her arm around Andy’s playing the friendly part. “And you’re just as beautiful as I thought you’d be!” Her voice was bubbly and full of enthusiasm.

Eve shook her head as if just realising her mistake. “Sorry, sorry. I'm Evangeline. Mason has just told me soooo much about you, that I feel like we’re already friends.” She giggled and cocked her head toward the son of Hades, her eyes twinkling with delight, and her sweat grin slipping slightly into a smirk for a moment. No doubt, reminding him about what he had told her about Andy. “Right babe?” She winked at him, and reached a hand out to lay across his chest. Funnelling her magic through the touch, attempting to influence his thoughts wink back at me. With the fabric of his jacket in the way, the words unspoken, and his own strong will, he’d probably be able to resist her magic’s pull. But he’d still want to, even for a moment. And he’d know it was her who put the thought there, she liked him knowing she was there, in his head.

Eve looked back and Andy and leaned into her, dropping her voice in a false whisper. False in that is was clearly loud enough to be heard by every around. “And doesn’t he just look hot in the suit? You agree don’t you? Say it.” Eve with her arm still locked around Andy’s, used her words and physical contact to invade Andy’s thoughts, pushing in new ones. You agree, Mason’s hot. Say it.

Pete didn’t get very far, a few steps or so, before a sharp and sudden downpour saw him soaked from the top of his head to the bottom of his boots. He groaned, he probably smelt like wet dog now, and he’d previously had no intention of changing. Not even god’s deserved an outfit change in his mind. But instead he had to change his path from towards to beach to his cabin.

He was dragging his feet, which is probably why someone ran straight into the back of him. Not a big person, small enough that he barely noticed the force. He spun around, pushing back the black hair that hung over his eyes, dripping water down his face. It seemed the rain passed as quickly as it arrived. "I beg your pardon," her voice was soft, making her small frame.

He raised a lazy shoulder, nothing she needed to apologise for. He’d barely even felt the impact. He’d seen her before the hall, though only because she’d been sitting with that guy from the stables. They had been sitting together and seemed kind of cosy, he noticed. Pete always noticed more than his vacant eyes gave him credit for. And Pete had instinctively scanned the crowd for him, noting that he was trouble. He hitched his backpack up his shoulder ready to head on his way, when her voice reached his ears again. "I uh, don't think we've met. I'm Sloane Astor."

“Pete.” She extended her hand with a smile, or at least his version of a smile, small and barely there. He took her hand, though his shake was brusque and he dropped her hand quickly, he did return the barely there smile as best he could. Now knowing her name, he gave her a second look over, taking in her nice dress now drenched. “You’ve ruined your dress.” It wasn’t a sympathetic platitude, just a comment, she didn’t seem to mind. His own sister would be pitching a fit.

“Later then,” He said turning to continue in the direction of his cabin and leaving her to do the same. But after only a few steps he turned back, his curiosity getting the better of him, he fell into step beside her as she was no doubt heading to her own cabin.

He didn’t want to be caught off guard down the track and he preferred the direct route. “That guy from in there,” He pointed towards the main hall. His voice was direct and to the point, but he didn’t speak meanly, he had no problem with her. “Is he a friend of yours? What’s his deal? Tell me.” He poured his magic into his words, tell me, influencing her to talk to him.

She continued her little stroll but found Theo had stopped altogether, pulling her to a halt as well.

"It really all depends on the situation. I mean I've done the whole meaningless hook ups thing, and it isn't worth all that much. There's not an ex I even care to see ever again... a model might be a different story," Trinity quirked up a brow. "Ya know, I'd let you come over before my favorite model. No way I'd risk pissing you off for a cheap hook up." That made one smart man in camp. And she thought it was a good thing, a compliment?

“Good boy,” she heard herself say before she could stop it. “That doesn’t really answer my question though,” she said then cleared her throat to rephrase. No one would play her game properly. “Okay, fine, a siren or succubus takes form of whoever you most desire. Your team needs you but you're approached alone by the seductress. How do you think you'd go? I know in the battlefield you kick ass and I know you...like the ladies so how does the big bad wolf respond to temptation?” Trinity supposed it all really did depend on the exact situation. However, Trinity wanted Theo to throw himself in the little dilemma. What if they were on a team and some shapeshifter or charm was Theo's kryptonite.

She gasped as an idea sprang to mind. “Would you be able to smell them? Cause I know - I think I read somewhere we all have pheromones and you're also attracted to the person's pheromones subconsciously? So you might be able to pick up on the different scent, right?” She always got avid talking attacks and counter-attacks. It was a good direction to put her energy and anger.

Arriving on the beach.... Trinity was at a loss. Completely dumbstruck. That blonde played with Wes's collar in the company of Liv. "I have no idea what you're talking about" my ass. God, he was lucky she didn't march over there and deck him and his new toy. Then she hooked her arm around Andy like they were BFFL's - um no, Trinity and Andy were. To top it off, some guy was wrestling with her dad. What the fuck is going on with the world!? Was she in a coma or something and everything changed?

She shifted in front of Theo with her back to him and put the back of her hand on his chest so he didn't trample her. Theo was the only non-tainted one so far but she had the worse feeling he was next. Him, Eve wasn't having. Oh yeah, Trinity caught her name in her little exchange with Pete but she was such a pest! Trinity watched her like a predator watching prey and waited and ached for the next excuse to lunge on her. Trinity's hand on Theo's chest had turned into a tight fist clutching his shirt. If she came over here, Theo better have been lightning fast to contain Trinity. “Theo, can you try make sure I don't do something stupid,” she said quietly. She looked over her shoulder to check his reaction then released his top, which she had unfairly projected her frustration on.

An impatient whiny drew her attention to the horses behind Ares, likely being their transport. “I’d rather ride you than a horse,” Trinity grumbled to Theo, only seconds later realising how it might have sounded. “No, not like the I'm on top, you're on bottom way or moving against you, but the wolf - I want to ride the wolf.” SHUT UP, shut up! Trinity sighed deeply, rubbing her head. She laughed weakly. “Sorry.”

When she could look him in the eyes again she smiled slightly. “You do owe me a wolf transformation though.”

The smile faded as quickly as it came. She did have one more pressing thing to bring up and it was very much handing power to Theo, thus made her uneasy. “Can I...could I...maybe crash at your cabin tonight?” Trinity pulled a face. She was always one to face her problems, not run or hide or ignore them and it made her appear weak. She hated that, furrowing her brows looking down at the sand. Trinity only wanted a night's escape to chill. In the event of Theo's rejection though, she could just bar her door, crank some music up she supposed.

If Cherise had a theme song intro right at this very moment, it would be something akin to something irritatingly bouncy— maybe some bad Taylor Swift song about break-ups. And instead of heading into the freezer for a pint of ice-cream, she dumps some instant oatmeal and skim milk into a bowl for a semi-healthy girl emotional binge fest in the late afternoon. She has a figure to keep, ya know.

Anyway.

This is Cherise in a nutshell; a closet binge-eater (healthily, mind you) with some emotional frustration. This is the Apollo child that no one ever sees because it is unbelievable. This woman is the face and embodiment of jubilant life, but she had to get her moments in. She had to take a break from being so gods damned pleasant all the time. She loved it, yes. She really did. To be happy— to make others smile in a bleak world where all of the bad things seem to just fall into everyone's laps unwelcome. She treasured living vicariously through the happiness of others; to put on that smiling face every day, to fake it til she makes it. Apollo reminded her that she was genuinely happy once, and maybe she will find that again.

But for now, she brings a wrist up to her mouth to wipe away the remnants of milk, thick with the the starch from the oats, that threatens to dribble down her jawline and into her lazy t-shirt. When ten minutes of mind-numbing eating ends, she sticks everything into her sink and gets dressed.

Now, getting dressed is an art form. She had so many colors to choose from— so many ways to present herself and give off that first impression of cheery liveliness. Plucking several articles of clothing from the closet, she wiggles into it, gives her hair a quick brush, and finishes it all off with a bright red lips.

Last, but not least— for the most important part of her day is this— she stands in front of a tall mirror. "I am a good person. I am kind, and loyal, and I am happy. The past is the past, and I cannot change it," she tells herself, taking in a deep breath as the words of affirmation remind her that she isn't this broken child stuffing her face with oats like a slob. "Sometimes bad things happen to good people, and that's okay. Good things happen, too. I am here for a reason. I am a necessary cog in the machine. If I am unhappy, others will be unhappy." Cherise pops off her best toothy smile in her rehearsal, and nods once. She pivots sharply on her heels, slips out of her room, and ultimately out of the cabin.

The path to the beach is embraced with a casual pace that allowed her brown eyes to take in the scenery. She dips her thumbs into her belt, smiling quietly at the cabins that she passes on the way, the trees, and yes— she even embraces the rain in a way only a cloyingly joyful person could. Speaking of the rain, she didn't see any dark cloud on the way here earlier. It must be some strange fluke.

Eventually, she's actually at the beach— the treeline anyway, just to watch for right now. Cherise wasn't sure who was who, but she will. Right now, from the far off distance, she could see things unfolding. That was great! She hadn't seen a good drama series for some time, and she has the feeling that she will figure out who she needs to befriend, and who she will have to work harder at. Because, by the gods, she will make people like her.

That's not crazy at all.

Once again, she throws on her best smile, already tossed into the world of daydreaming the multiple scenarios that can transpire between herself and others. In all of this, she is approaching, and with the probability of running into someone with her head all up in the clouds as it is right now. The only question is: Who?

Everything went downhill pretty quickly. When Wesley appeared, it was obvious he was not happy nor interested in their company. He allowed the new girl in, told them he was fine, and simply closed the door sharply in their faces. Heath knew Wes lied about being fine, but that didn't upset him in the lease. He tended to be terse and rude when he was in a bad mood. Granted that rarely happened, but it did at times. Ethan was no lie detector like Heath, but even he figured Wesley didn't mean to be cross.

It was a different thing for Iliana though. She rarely was the subject to negative emotions directly, but when it did, it always shocked her. Did she do something wrong? She knew Wesley was originally upset about something else, but did her appearance only angered him more? The idea that she might have hurt him did not sit well with her. She always did her best to stay on people's good sides. His angry emotions made her depressed and very dejected. She should probably not interact with him again. She also felt like crying again.

Ethan could feel Iliana's chaotic emotions and instantly placed an arm around her shoulders, all the while trying to calm her down with his serenity inducement.

"Hey hun, it's okay, Wesley wasn't angry at you, he was just in a bad mood. I am sure he didn't mean to react that way."

"Ethan is right Lia, why not we return to the beach now okay?" Heath suggested.

Iliana looked at the two and nodded. She had calmed down a bit, but her thoughts were still on Wesley. They eventually led to her thinking about the trial itself. Was she really capable of being unbiased during it? She depended on both Ethan and Heath to keep her emotions intact, and even then it didn't work half of the time and already she had a meltdown. If things got emotionally charged during this trial, she didn't trust herself to keep control of her powers.

When they made it back to the beach, the noticed the horses, along with Ares wrestling with someone who was blonde. They boys decided to ignore that. They saw more people showed up. Heath found himself looking at the group with the short hair blonde girl. He didn't like her behavior earlier, so he decided to keep an extra eye on her. He looked away and paid attention to his mother. Iliana directly approached Athena and wrote something in her notepad before showing it to her. Athena herself had been watching Hades's son and Hecate's daughter and was eying the blonde girl between them. Nothing good could come from that. Her attention centered on Iliana when the young demigod showed her what she wrote.

"Where is Zeus? I need to ask him something."

Athena smiled and replied, "He's still near the main hall dear, but should be here soon."

Iliana nodded and through her notepad, told Ethan and Heath, told them she'd be right back. Heath was surprised Iliana wanted to go off on her own.

"The trial will be happening soon sis. Do you want me to come with you?"

It was obvious he didn't like Iliana going off on her own. Athena intervened quickly.

"Don't worry about her Heath. Zeus knows Iliana. You go on and go Iliana, you still have time."

Iliana nodded and walked off. It didn't take her long to reach the main hall and indeed, she saw Zeus heading from it. She also saw Alex and Duke nearby along with Ajax and a redhead. She wanted to see how Zeus's children were, but decided to 'talk' with Zeus first. The god did know what happened to Iliana. After all, Demeter got his permission to allow Iliana to stay in Olympus the 2 times she did briefly stayed there. He also helped Demeter keep her sanity when Iliana was missing. When Iliana reached the ruler of the gods, she started writing in her notepad. She bowed to Zeus before showing him what she wrote.

"Lord Zeus, I am sorry, but I don't if it's a good idea for me to attend the trial. My emotions have been all over the place and if things get intense during the trial, I don't think I'll be able to control my powers. It was me that caused the intense rain not too long ago and I am scared I'll cause a tempest to appear. Does momma have to attend the trial? I was wondering if it was okay to stay in her area and just wait for the trial to end. I am sorry for my cowardly behavior, I just couldn't stand it if I hurt anyone because of my weaknesses."

She really was terrified of that.
