Thom is a relatively average height for a guy, standing at 5'10 with a pretty lean build and no muscles to speak of, not that he particularly cares. He has long shaggy blonde hair which is often left in a state of bedraggled, often looking like he has only just rolled out of bed... Which is often the case.
Thom is a simple guy, who likes comfort over everything else. He never dresses to impress and fair prefers a nice warn in pair of jeans, a simple tee or polo shirt and some old trainers. He doesn't have any forms of piercings, tattoos or scars, however he does have dichromatic eyes. His left eye is brown and his right eye is grey. Thom hates his eyes and so often covers the grey up with a brown contact. Only those who are close to him have seen his right eye.

Thom has always been an incredibly intelligent young man, having an IQ of 173, and excelling in both Physics and Mathematics, he rarely finds himself unable to answer a question proposed to him. He is an overachiever however and so being one of the smartest kids in the school isn't enough, he has to be the best. Thom pushes himself so that he is the top of all his classes whether he likes the class or not and takes great pleasure in being challenged mentally and being forced to think as they are rare occurrences.
However, despite his joy at mental stimulation and challenge, he hates to get anything wrong. Thom has pretty much always been right all through his life and it has created an arrogance, this belief that no matter the evidence, his answers cannot be wrong and it is simply the other persons fault for not seeing why his answers are right. This can make him difficult to be around, but mainly when people try to engage him in a debate where they hold alternative views.
Finally, although Thom would never consider himself an introvert per say, he does enjoy being alone from time to time. Though he can appreciate friends and social interactions, it is the moments when he gets to sit down and read or solve a really difficult mathematical puzzle that he gets the most enjoyment. He has never liked partying or drinking, and so instead of spending his Saturday out with friends, he is sat at home doing school work, just the way he likes it.

Thom is the Fraternal twin to his sister Samantha Edwards. The two of them were born to a pretty normal, middle calls family and had a happy childhood spent together. However, that all changed when Thom and Sam got into High School. Unsurprisingly Thom was immediately accepted as a 'Nerd' while his sister joined another clique. He didn't particularly care and didn't interact with her much as they didn't share any friends.
It was only after his sister got involved with the 'Skaters' and Thom got into the cheating trade that their relationship took a hostile turn. When Thom learned his was going to this Camp Tolerance with his sister, he was mainly just annoyed that he would be forced to socialise with people he could care less about.
