Romeo Zacarias

Male Neko 2

Romeo is cocky and arrogant, thinking he’s just the greatest thing that’s ever hit Earth. He walks with a snobby sense of pride. Not the kind that says, ‘this guy knows what he’s doing.’ No, more like the kind that says, ‘everyone is lesser than me.’ This is actually not all that true, however. He may act this way, but he mainly does it to fit in. Ever since becoming a neko, he’s felt insecure and unsure of himself. He’ll go out of his way to make others laugh, even if it means making himself look like an idiot in order to do so. Despite this, he still manages to agitate those around him with how full of himself he seems to be. Whenever he considers someone competition in some way, shape, or form, he’ll go out of his way to be better than that person. It’s a challenge to him, in a way. He’ll also completely disregard the person whenever they’re around or whenever they speak to him.

When it comes to dating, Romeo won’t hesitate to flirt with a girl or two (or three or four). Guys too. It doesn’t really matter to him. It just amuses him, whether the person happens to be interested or not. He gets frustrated easily when someone calls him out on something, but when he gets actually angry, he’ll grow dangerously quiet. Other than that, he prefers doing as he pleases, lazing about, eating junk food, and avoiding work.

Romeo considers himself a skilled magician. He doesn’t have any actual powers, of course, but he’s worked hard on his little tricks and has gotten good enough at them where he’s been able to throw a few people into awe. Branching off this, in order to become a good magician, one must be quick with their hands and reflexes, and so he is.

-Food in general, preferably sweets
-Milk over soda any day
-Tricks and illusions
-Magic shows
-Girls and guys
-Getting what he wants

-Soda makes his stomach hurt
-Birds agitate the crap out of him
-Not getting what he wants
-Sore losers
-Those who are better than him

The one main phobia that Romeo seems to have is being considered a loser. Since he’s all about ‘fitting in with the crowd,’ if he were to be shunned away by all around, he would have an absolute freak out and probably become depressed or do something drastically desperate.

Romeo grew up with the impression that clicks are everything, thus giving him his utmost urge to fit in despite the changing trends. Being a conformist, he was told by his prim and prissy mother, was the only way to get what he wanted in life. His mother would spoil him and tell him he was the best, so inevitably, he grew a cocky attitude. His father, however, was a bit of a different case. He thinks of Romeo as someone who’s not good enough. He’s never complimented his son, never given him a hug, and rarely has he ever shot a smile in his son’s direction that wasn’t caused by Romeo bringing harm to himself. He shoots Romeo down on almost a daily basis. “Straight A’s? So you were just being stupid before. Perfected a magic trick? Stop wasting your life. You got into a good school? Doesn’t mean you’ll do good there.” This is where Romeo’s lack of confidence in himself has developed. He thrives to make his dad approve in some way, but becoming a neko only made his father turn away from him more. It’s frustrating, but his mother supports him (too enthusiastically) and, though he’d rather it be his father, he goes on through school as if he doesn’t care.

Who is their partner?

Hex Code

Romeo eats when he’s feeling particularly depressed or angsty or when something’s not going his way. When he’s honestly feeling down about something, he won’t tell anyone, and instead will opt for stuffing his face to avoid having to talk to others.
