She spent her whole high school life in Washington DC, a city that is very different from Cape Casanova. However, she was not very accepted by the people in her school, but there was one person that accepted her for who she is, Albert. She fell for him, she loved him but she hid herself away from him, because she believed she isn't good enough for him. At the end of high school she wanted to tell him, but then her classmates pulled a prank on her, embarrassing her in front of everyone, and framed that prank on to Albert. Sad enough, after graduation, Shirley left Washington and returned toe Cape Casanova to study film and acting. Now this is where she ended up, her theater dreams way in a distance from her.

Carefully pulling a blue hardcover copy of "Pride and Prejudice" off her shelf in her tiny library out of her collection of hardcover classics. She opened it and begun reading but then realize she is missing something so opened her laptop and begun playing Tiffany Alvord's "So Alive" as the music filled the room.
After a while she stared down at her watch she realized it was time to get her daily coffee. After deciding she left her copy on the bed and walked across the building towards the café. Sitting down at her favorite seat in the corner, she watched as the waitress walk by, and moved on from table to table.
letting the waitress a smile and she returned to reading the copy of Jane Eyre she had previously stuffed in her leather bag. People in her school had always been so into fashion especially bags, but she was never that into bags, she is just more into vintage products.
When the waitress served her Mint Chocolate Chip Frapuccino, she quickly left the coffee shop and walked back to the apartment.
