Arabella was a lot slower to react than the rest of the group, but that didn't stop her from coming to Jaimie's aid almost immiediately. For the rest of the time she had been extremely quiet, not wanting to interfere with the matters of debts to vampires, but the second Shad sunk his teeth into Jaimie all bets were off.

Jumping behind Shad, she used her enchanted ring to have a wooden stake flash out on her finger. She was just getting ready to threaten Shad when Sean punched him. "Can you hold that thought for just a second?" she asked the leprechaun. Before he could answer her, she lifted her hand up to put a light shield between Shad, Jaimie and the leprechaun. Now she turned her attention back to Shad.

"Now Shad, you obviously didn't think this through," she said, going on her tiptoes to whisper in his ear. Where her breath touched, ice crystals formed. "You wouldn't want a repeat of what happened at the wedding would you?" she then tapped the stake lightly against his back. She was scared to attack him for fear of hurting Jaimie, but this needed to stop.

Aiden let out a loud sigh as he saw the fight break out. He let go of Amber as he drew the fetish knife, the leprechaun was causing issues and Shad wasn't helping. Arabella seemed to react quickly enough But Aiden wasnt having any of it; his form tore apart as the beast tore outward of his body with the fetish knife in hand. He lumbered behind Shad and the commotion. He simply swept the air with the knife and then a shimmering gate opened As Arabella whispered into Shads ear. Aiden didnt have patience any more He gripped the back of shads coat without warning moving Arabella off of him and Flung him towards the portal. The gate would deposit shad in the umbral plane the place the spirits resided or at least its upper crust. Aiden had full intention of reclaiming shad after he had time to cool off and if the leprechaun didnt settle down He would attempt to move him next.

Amber sighed as the fight between Shad and Sean started. Couldn't anyone keep calm or behave for five minutes? She paused as Aiden released her and headed over. She bit her lip; it wouldn't have been necessary...but it seemed that, because of Star, Shad and Sean weren't going to get along very well. She shook her head in exasperation as Aiden opened a portal to the Umbral Plane. As a vampire, he would probably be much safer there than she would be, but still.

"Come on you guys; this really isn't the time for bickering amongst ourselves." She froze for a second, remembering where they were, and looked to the vampire, Caesar.

"I'm sorry about them...tension's been high lately...not too many fights, so they're wound up...I'm sorry if it's interrupting..." She glanced back to Aiden and walked over, hoping to keep any other fights from starting. Shad might not be too worried about hurting a human, but Arabella and Aiden wouldn't do anything of the sort. Jamie might be a vampire at the moment, but they were friends, right? And the leprechaun...well, she didn't know him too well, but he had helped her out on the ship.

"This really isn't helping our case here..."

Jaimie did not enjoy the ripping of flesh as Shad was pulled off of him, but the wound on his neck quickly scabbed over, looking more like an injury he had received a week ago, the regeneration abilities he had copied from Shad weren't perfect but they would keep him from bleeding out. He also could sense the thirst building in his throat, in his panicked state his body had copied all of Shad's abilities amplifying the weaknesses. Not knowing how to control his aura there was a small flame of red energy around him for anyone who could sense auras, he still wasn't a threat to most monsters but he didn't appear human. His new fangs ached at the bloodloss and he felt a little dizzy, luckily he wasn't actually a vampire or he would need to feed, his human body maintained its' blood producing qualities and was already working toward replenishing the lost blood.

He managed to stay standing but he was a bit wobbly, he reached out to Arabella for support.

"Sorry." He mumbled, his voice sounded harsh it had the same edge to it that Shad's voice had.

“Oh so you know one of my girls do you?” Caesar asked with a lewd smirk as he lazily leaned back propping his head on his fist as he watched the drama unfold. He seemed to have taken note of who had come to see him now, but as Shad stepped up to Star there was a confrontation. Typically this is where the boss would have made a move to protect his employees, but Caesar didn’t do that, instead he just watched with interest like it was a soap opera before him, letting the drama unfold, even when Shad went to strike. The other girl draped herself across his shoulders and began nuzzling the man’s neck before biting it sharply making him sneer though he never stopped watching the skit before him.

“Caesar I-” Jacob turned to the others as the started the fight and whistled at them, hoping they’d break it up, “You guys aren’t making this any easi- Shad!” he couldn’t help but want to strike the vampire for such blatant violence, but he was being ignored.

“My, what an interesting day this is turning into.” Caesar commented.

“Caesar, shouldn’t we stop them?” Jacob asked, he got no reply as the fight escalated, “Caesar?” he asked again louder.

Finally it reached its peak and Jamie was bleeding and Jacob put his foot down, “Mark!”

“What, Jacob?” Caesar, or rather Mark, answered.

Satisfied he had the man’s attention he turned to the others and gestured to them, Mark rolled his eyes and slung his hand out, a force exploding forward to split the feud, “As much as I enjoyed the show, my time in valuable… now if you’d all relax a bit we can actually get something done…” he gestured to the bar while looking over his shoulder into the eyes of the other stripper and spoke softly to her, “Karla, my dear, would you please fetch our two new blood sucking friends a drink, I believe it may lighten the mood… and I’m worried that if I asked Starlet here to do it she may just poison them.” The woman nodded and sauntered off to a bar in the corner to pour more crimson liquid into two more glasses for Shad, and the newly vampirized Jamie… clearly Caesar knew of his affliction.

“Anyway, Mark we need-”

“Caesar, Jacob… I don’t use the damn alias for my health… and I know what you’re here for, but I’m afraid I can’t think of a way out for you… the demons were awfully careful about the requirements… there are only two souls in the world that fit those requirements, and nothing you can do will change that.”

“Shit.”

Aiden closed the portal with Shad now in his "time out" in the umbra, As Aiden felt the pressure in the room shift. Aiden felt it hit him and although it didn't move him; his ability to gauge it in comparison to those he had been around was enough for him to gain a litle more respect for the blood sucker. Aidens form shrank back down as he heard Mark's words. which raised Aidens question

"What....What if they wern't human anymore......" Aiden asked as he looked at jamie for a moment his "Unique" traits showing. Aiden sheathed the knife as he moved next to Amber he looked exhausted now more so than before as he repeated himself "What if they lost their humanity.....Could they still take her?"

If Aiden ha dent said it now it was clear he had only one concern it was Amber he wasnt here for Jamie at the moment He was here for Amber and only her He was Angry and bitter and it was showing Jamies unpaid debt was costing Amber and him now. But how was Jamie supposed to understand that. When it was Desmond who had cheated death in the first place, but old man Ruler not only got brought back to life and got to marry the persone he loved He didnt have to pay a dime for his fuck up. No Aiden and Amber where now paying.

Arabella was busy, holding her hand up to Jaimie's neck to aid in his body's regenerative properties. It was more complicated for her than a human's body, but nothing she couuldn't handle. It was fairly simple and she thought maybe even Baine could whip something up for it. "Are you feeling better now?" she asked, making sure he was reamining steady. She was beginning to feel woozy herself and the last thing they needed was for both of them to pass out. But she wasn't out of it enough to let Aiden's comment fly.

She openly glared and it was probably a comical sight on her usually wide-eyed face, but he deserved the full force of her glare. When he disappeared, she often put herself and Jaimie at risk just to protect Amber and now he was just throwing that all away. Her hand twitched as the wooden stake turned to pure silver. She then retracted the stake back so that it was just a ring again, but that wasn't much for containing her rage. The room was cooler as she just muttered under her breath, "Typical Bloodoak."

"Typical Bloodoak" the words hit Aidens ears and stung more than the stake would have. he despised them, He loved his sister even if they were not on the best terms and he cared for his packs well being. However he did not care for any of the packs policy's currently or their actions and the fact that Arabella would say that cut him deep. the air cooled and Aiden just looked over his shoulder, At her and jamie his body language showed he was hurt a close friend for the second time had accused him of being something he despised. The beast clawed at him but he struggled to maintain.

"Dont say that. You have no Idea how much I hate myself for what I inherit from them.. but this isnt about that..this is about saving them and trying to advert a debt; and im sorry if Amber is my main concern here. But please tell me that its not at least an Idea the soul would change it wouldent be human any more and believe me when I say I'm not a fan of the Idea. but if you have a better one becuse fighting an endless horde of demons is just going to get us all killed isnt it?"

Amber hesitated, glancing at Aiden, then at the ground. While it was true, and it would change their souls, she saw only one tiny problem with that fact. She shook her head at the argument between Aiden and Arabella; this was the last thing they needed. Maybe everyone was on edge, like Aiden was. The arguments and the fights seemed to be happening much more often than normal. She understood that Jamie, Arabella, and Aiden would be so stressed, but the others had so little to fight about. She was only a food supply for Shad, and the leprechaun didn't know either of them well enough to be overly worried. She patted Aiden's arm.

"I think everyone needs to calm down; we'll never find anything if we don't keep a level head. The debt calls for two human souls; what will happen if they can't collect those souls? If, like Aiden said, we weren't human anymore? How upset will the demons be? And what will they come after instead?" In theory, it made sense, but the demons didn't strike her as a being to give up. They would collect their debt, even if they had to change what they were collecting.

"We need to think this through a little more, I think."

Sean was a bit downed by the fact that the fight was cancelled just as it was starting to get good. Sean looked at the strippers' faces. He shrugged apologetically.

"Sarry Stah," he said to Star. "Guess I couldn't finish defending yah honah, but if you ever get tired of Mr. Stick in the Mud, you could always come ovah and take a break me to let some stress out." He then leaned in a little closer "Is that colleen that got in the way of the fight, seein anybody right now?" he said pointing to Arabella.

He checked her out as he positioned himself so he could see all the ladies at once. Sean was thinking that the new girl should get some of those clothes off as well, and tried to figure out which angle he would have to work it to get 'au natural' he flipped a gold coin at Star."For the show, and if you eveh need me just picture this face of mind and rub that coin. I'll find yah."

"Yes, thanks" he replied simply. Jaimie was relieved to Arabella's support and her cooling touch healed his neck completely what he didn't realize was the coolness coming off of her wasn't just from healing, she had pulled out a silver stake and was threatening Aiden. Luckily the stake disappeared but harsh words followed, and Jaimie began to fear the Aiden might rip another hole in the space time continuum and throw Arabella in.

"Aiden has a point Arabella, I'm barely human as it is, If either Amber or I became monsters are souls wouldn't be human and the deal would be impossible to pay off, but Amber's right too, we don't know what they'd do if that happened." He calmly spoke as the other stripper approached him with the glass of blood. He took it without thinking but couldn't bring himself to drink it, only stare at it and let the thirst burn away in his throat.

"We still have to consider the possibility." He said lightly trying not to upset Arabella, he reached for her hand as comfort. He looked to Amber for some sign that she was as hopeless as he was, she didn't seem determined but she wasn't giving up yet which gave him a little more confidence.

Star shook her head as her hair grew out to the small of her back, falling in perfect silver waves. As the leprechaun spoke, she listened and lifted her eyebrow in an amused way. “Don’t worry,” she reassured him. “I can protect my honor just fine.” She was a little pissed off at the fact that he had defended her, but she wasn’t about to start a fight if there was a demon debt involved. She knew firsthand what demons could do.

She rolled her eyes when he asked about Arabella. “Yes she is,” she said quietly, but in her always seductive tone. “That scrawny little human boy is her boyfriend.” She crinkled her nose up in a disgusted way, but then he was tossing her the coin.

At the glint of gold, her eyes widened and she snatched it out of the air much too eagerly. She examined it carefully before slipping it into her top for safe keeping. Star wasn’t sure what to think of leprechauns and their luck. On one side she wanted to believe that there was no such thing as luck, but that was because they were the only monsters that truly scared her.

Their luck absolutely terrified her unlike any other monster could. She could tame a vampire in a second, go toe to toe with a werewolf or even start a fight with a witch. Even demons weren’t a problem for her, but leprechauns were different. So she smiled and said thank you just to please him after the coin. She needed to get on his good side.

Jamie was given a glass of blood, to satiate his thirst, while Caesar lazily reached into his pocket and drew out a set of keys, “Before we get into this I think we should lay some ground rules,” he pointed one of the longer keys, one that seemed to be made of bone, at the point where Shad had vanished, “though we’ll need your friend back first.” The key began to vibrate and shimmer, after a few second he turned it causing a rapidly expanding portal to appear, literally dropping Shad out of it and onto the floor hard, being that the portal would have opened under him. The portal closed immediately but the vampire kept the key pointed toward Shad, “Behave… all of you,” he pointed the key at all of those who had caused an altercation, “Or I’ll send you right back…”

When he was sure they all understood him he lowered the keys, the stripper bringing Shad a glass of blood as well, “Now if you lot are done with your childish bickering, we’ll get to the matter at hand…” he again looked at the requirements and rolled his eyes, “Damn demons are too clever for their own good, but even if you did change them from human, Bloodoak, that wouldn’t solve the issue. You can change their bodies but you can’t change their souls… and truly anything that would might only make them more valuable… no, they aren’t going to let this go easily, they want those souls, and they are going to get them one way or another.”

Jacob sighed and leaned against a nearby wall, “Why these souls? I get that they are special but what makes them worth all this? No offense, Amber, Jamie.”

“Well, to my eye, it looks like the Underworld Clans are trying to increase their powerbase… which would be bad.” He waved his hand and some blood pooled from his glass and streamed through the air, forming an orb in his palm, slowly swarming and turning translucent. The colors shifted from red to a large number of shadows, looking very demonic, “See, the Demon clans were once bound in two forms, those of the Surface, and those of the Underworld. The Surface clans have always had the most political clout, holing office on the Council and being the major movers and shakers between the covens and the vampire families. But the Underworld clans were much more powerful militarily, commanding an army of tormented and sealed souls with which they kept the Council from restricting their powerbase.” The demon groups split form one another as he spoke, one a small ground that grew larger in stature but not numbers, the other a small ground that slowly multiplied into a swarm.

“But the Surface clans were gaining enough political power to restrict this, see they wanted to bring the Underworld clans under their banners, make them subordinate,” the large demons stood above the smaller masses, but suddenly vanished, “It didn’t work… The Underworld clan’s officially split form the rest of our world and marched on the surface, heading into Egypt to try and gain a new power that had recently emerged. See Human souls weren’t heading to the Underworld anymore, the Council had changed Monster Law to prevent the rebellion from dragging on the moment the Underworld Clans split form it, and their soldier base suddenly began to drop forcing them to look for some other source for their army. They looked to that home-world of your people, Jacob, Hydra.” The large number of demons approached a huge arch that the others would recognize as a stylized view of the Gate, “They sent a third of their legion of wraiths to try and invade Hydra, intending to place a rune stone across the gate and begin collecting the souls of Hirules trying to return home.”

“But that’s insane, only Hirules can pass through the gate.”

“The Underworld Clans apparently thought they had found a way, but you’re right, it was futile, the legion was lost and never made it to Hydra. Another third of their legions were killed in the rebellion against the Council Races, reducing the Underworld’s power to a fraction of what it was. They surrendered and were once again bound by the Council’s Law, which heavily restricted the souls they could obtain, limiting their ability to rebuild their strength.”

“Alright… entertaining story but what the hell does it have to do with Jamie and Amber?”

Caesar returned the blood to his glass after the demon horde had withed away, “But that’s just it, the Underworld Clans have been second class in the demon world for the past fifteen centuries… but now thanks to the new initiative by the Council they have a chance to turn that all around, and they plan to do it with their souls.” Caesar handed the page to Jacob again, “These terms are set to aid them in that.”

Estella stared blanky at the food in front of her. She found it tasteless and she couldn't stand to eat with her fangs aching as they did. Her grandfather always seemed to "forget" that she had a different diet than him. Her beautiful dress that she picked out herself was feeling scratchy now and she was extremely irritated. She couldn't focus on anything
except for the delicious taste of that boy in the air.

"My father had me training with a wooden stake just the other day," the boy said in a voice that made him see far older than ten. Nox laughed goodnaturedly at the boy and had a twinkle in his eye. The boy was forced to sit next to Stella while her grandfather Nox sat at the head of the table and the boy's mother at the other end. She was quiet, and watched Stella's every move.

Estella wanted it to stop. Every little noise sounded like thunder. Every time the boy's heart beat, her fangs ached more. She looked at her grandfather with big, worried eyes, but he was too caught up in socializing with the powerful demoness and her son. Suddenly, Nox called her name and she looked up with a fake, but charming smile.

"Yes, Grandpa?" she said, just like how she had been taught.

"Why don't you and Liam go for a walk outside?"he asked. She wasn't aware of this, but currently Nox was trying to find a proper suitor for her without her parent's knowledge. She nodded, gulping again to attempt to keep her fangs from hurting. She stood up and without looking at the demon, she strode out.

Estella was a little over a year old, but she looked to be around nine years old. Her black and silver hair was gorgeously braided down her back in her lovely violet, gothic dress. Once they were outside, Liam walked faster to catch up with her. His mom had told him it was important that he befriended the little girl.

"This is a beautiful tree," he said awkwardly, but trying to sound smooth. She didn't hear his words though. Her ears had elongated into points and somewhat resembled a bat's ear. They were actuallly fur-less, smaller fox ears, but they matched her little bat wings. With her heightened hearing she listened to the boy's heartbeat and cringed in pain. Thump... Thump... Thump.. She could barely stand to not drink his blood and focused on the calmig sound of his heart. THat's when she caught it. No wonder he smelled so delicious! His heart wasn't beating like the slow beat of a demon's, but the faster beat of a human's. This demon was a fake pure-bred! With an excited smile and sparkling eyes, she slashed her claw out and severed his throat, immediately drinking it dry. She had made a bloody mess, but she didn't care. All that mattered was her thirst was gone. Suddenly, there was a high-pitched scream as Liam's mother came charging at her, bringing a league of shadows with her.

"HOW DARE YOU!!!!!" the mother shouted, ready to tear Estella to pieces. The girl hissed an got into a fighting stance, but Nox got between them.

"Estella," he said, refusing to call her Stella. "Why did you bite him?"

"He smelled like human," she explained. Nox seemed displeased and nodded. What little color was in Liam's mother's face had vanished as she realized she had been caught.

"Tha-tha-that's a mistake!" she spluttered, but with a swift motion a sword of shadows decapitated her. Nox smiled at his handiwork and then looked down proudly at the little mistake. She could be used... There was so much raw power in Estella that if he could harness would make him the strongest demon lord out there. He grinned and bent down to Estella. She was as fast as her mother, but with her father's strength. Absolutely perfect.

"Did you have fun?" he asked her, suddenly kind to the little girl.

"Yes, sir," she replied, unsure of herself. He grinned.

"Good. We'll have to do that again some time. Now how about I buy you a new dress since you ruined that one?" And leaving the two demon bodies on the ground, he took his granddaughter's hand and led her back inside.

Shad was furious as He was throw into the vortex, Aiden seriously was a mess to go to such lengths to stop him, Arabella already had a stake at his back he was going to give up. He didn't know what to expect from the umbra but he did not enjoy his time there and was relieved to get sucked out by another bright light. He was spooked and confused enough to quietly take his drink and shut up, Aiden dealt with some weird stuff.

Shad calmed down and sipped slowly, usually he didn't accept blood in a glass but he wasn't going to object. His emotions were back in line and he almost felt guilty for the mess he made, he was still so uncontrollable. He hesitated for a moment as he noticed that Jaimie was not totally human looking, he worried for a moment he had accidentally turned him, but could still hear a heartbeat, what a weird human.

Then Ceaser, or Mark, finally explained the political side of this, Shad had guessed there was one but wasn't going to come up with it on his own, Desmond tried to give him flashcards on the council and its' dealings but those were gathering dust on his desk like the rest of his school work. It didn't help that he had yet to show up to a meeting. Ironically Shad understood most of what Ceaser was talking about, his Dad told him stories about the underworld war when he was a kid, many of his best memories with his dad were those stories.

Shad slowly inched over to Star. He decided he would do something that would take extreme mental emotion and physical restraint.

"I'm sorry." He muttered the rare words, hating the feeling of them on his tongue. He hated showing weakness like this but he had to apologize and mend what he had attacked or he and Star would never work out.

Star was starstruck, an emotion that came just as rarely to her as apologies came to Shad. Her jaw dropped ever so slightly and only betrayed her for less than a second before she had gotten her composure back. She examined Shad carefully before replying

"I forgive you," she said after finally deciding that he seemed to mean it. She had pretty much been asking for him to snap, but she wasn't going to admit that. She listened to Ceasar talk about the demon wars which she was all too familiar with. Having been one of the land-dwelling demonesses to be set up with an underworld demon, she had all of the knowledge of those wars. Even some intel that the ferry boat driver, Charon had told her.

"That a boy, Shahd" Sean was grinning from ear to ear seeing that the couple was reunited, yet it didn't stop him from checking her out. "Good for yeh too Stah" He clapped a softly hoping to be discreet during this oh so serious meeting.

Sean found a stray glass with alcohol and took a sip. It wasn't nearly strong enough but he finished it with the second gulp. Sean didn't care much for deals and such nor did he care much for history lessons. Sean knew of three ways to solve problems. With his fists, clever words, or money. There was usually a way to find out which was needed but seeing as how Sean didn't have much to do he shadow boxed as he listened to all the useless balthering. Sean usually preferred fists to coin seeing as how giving away coin was never something leprechauns did if they had a choice. Sean smiled inwardly at the fact Star had accepted to the coin. His mental enemy switched between wolf boy and the vamp. He didn't get to make a friend today, but there would always be another day.

Shad slipped an arm around her and after being forgiven began feeling a little too ambitious. He was curious as to why she was here in the first place and was remembering she was scantily clad. Without his thirst distracting him as he drank the blood he had been given, other thoughts were able to come to the front of his mind and of course the dirtiest came first considering his girlfriend was more than half naked. He waited a few moments for the leprechaun to be out of earshot.

"So how much for a lap dance?" He whispered to her so no one else could hear and smirked thinking he was being clever. It was entirely jokingly but could very well be taken in the wrong way and result in a slap.

“Okay… but that doesn’t tell us much of why Jamie and Amber, ma- uh Caesar… what the hell are the demons after those two for?”

Caesar rolled his eyes, “Weren’t you paying attention, they are two of the most valuable souls in the world.”

“But why?”

“Uh, honestly are you sure you’re the son of Bismarck, I swear you’d think that he’d have taught you something.” Jacob just shrugged with that ‘he’s too busy and I don’t care’ look about his face. “Anyway, since you’re ignorant, and you’re paying me, I’ll enlighten you. You see, the Demons aren’t after their lives really, it’s their souls they want, no doubt, intending to turn them into wraiths… you know, those tormented souls that the demons use as slaves and soldiers? Well, the Underworld clans do.” He raised one finger on his right hand, “Second they want them to have been granted a wish, probably because they are after the wish itself, those things aren’t exactly common.” He raised another finger.

“But they already used the wishes… right?”

“Yeah, but thing is those wishes bind to the soul, even though the body is what uses them… if the souls changes bodies… or in this case is ripped from it… the wish is voided and reset, in a manner of speaking, can you imagine what they can do with two endless wishes?”

“Not invade Hydra…”

“Maybe not… or at least not initially, but those wishes lead to the return of a dead Hirule with lost artifact no one had seen for centuries,” he smirked, not many knew that kind of information, this guy was clearly good at his job, “Anyway, third thing they want is what you should really be looking at… they want those who were saturated by energy from that damned Gate of yours Bismarck.”

“That one makes no sense to me, what the hell will it give them?”

“That’s just it, who knows? Maybe the demons are hoping that the power will make them more versatile, or maybe it’ll help them invade Hydra successfully this time, I’m not sure really. But, what I do know is that Hirule energy is making these two change; look at Jamie! The man’s a human vampire hybrid right now, I mean no offense kid, but even after that whole wish thing these two humans have been evolving, growing stronger just by being saturated in the auras of other beings, not just Hirule but every one of you.” He raised the fifth and final finger, “And that brings me to the last and probably biggest reason… they are human… and that means that they are invaluable as wraiths.”

“What?”

He dropped his hand and gestured to Amber, “Oh please, you all hang around Ruler and he hasn’t given you the, ‘humans are more adaptive’ speech? The Demons want two human wraiths again, they lost most of them in the wars, and the difference is that while a monster when made to a wraith will emerge at their height, they won’t get stronger… Human wraiths, on the other hand, are infinite, they can become more and more powerful by adapting and devouring the souls of monsters, while they might be weak in life they are a real pain in the ass when they are dead. Fact is they probably plan on making these two into the cornerstones of their next army, vanguards of death… and I’m sorry to say I don’t really see a way out of it.” there was silence.

Amber stiffened slightly; their souls were going to be used to create some kind of army? She wasn't overly fond of that idea. While she wasn't overly sure before whether or not she might be able to find a way out, not she really had to focus. She couldn't let demons have her soul, not if they were only going to be turned into Wraiths and used by the underworld demons. If it wasn't just to help repay Jamie's debt, and they were just going to end up slaves and servants to demons, there was very little point to it. Besides, she wasn't willing to become a servant for demons. She shrunk closer to Aiden, a little frightened by that prospect.

"Are you sure there's no way out of this? Absolutely nothing we can do to get out of this mess?" And all because Desmond had saved Jamie. Somehow, these monster laws seemed rather unfair. Yes, she had wanted Jamie to be saved, but it wasn't Jamie's choice to be brought back. How did this all fall back to him?

Star leaned up against Shad and rested her head on his shoulder. At his question she grinned wickedly before giving him an answer. "For you? Free," she said mischeviously. Her train of thought was cut off as Caesar talked about the souls. So that was why they were here? The demons wanted what was rightfully there's.

"The only way that the demons can't get their claws on your souls would be if I ate them," she said, giggling madly. She licked her lips and looked at Jaimie hungrily and then at Amber. She had tasted a piece of Jaimie's soul before and it was amazing. She couldn't imagine how yummy Amber would be. As a reflex to her thoughts, her ears elongated to fox ears as her body prepared for the stalk.

Aiden stood there his heart just pounded in his chest as he heard the vampire's little speech finally end. He was red in the face, he was furious.

"Well I am glad to here you said there is nothing you can do Thats a shame since this is going to affect Everything! Well only one option left it seems. Im not standing around here another minute....We have wasted to much time just to be told Im sorry." Aiden said through his teeth as he gripped the fetish knife. His aura was changing it was focusing now it was something perhaps very few people would be able to understand. Desmond would have simply said for the first time both the beast and Aiden have the same interest and something to lose in this scenario.

Aiden pointed at Jacob "Tell your dad that when he sees Desmond, Ill be looking for him or ill meet him in the underworld. Im gonna go take this to the demons. No boats, no safe little trips. Im going to rip a hole straight into there domain Unless one of you can give me a reason not to!" Aiden said with conviction as he pulled out the thick leather bound book and opened to a section in the back its pages where more untouched and it was written in two languages. When the blood oaks took in the pack they used demonic contracts to make it binding. Of course the werewolves kept records of the various gates back then...it wasnt the funnest way down and no telling where they would come out at. but it would take them to that level of the umbra.

Aiden began freaking out, his animal side going nuts at the thought of losing Amber. He even began to use his magic in the room again. Caesar had yet to really seem annoyed but now the smirk he had held vanished as his hand flung forward. The blood left in his glass vaporized and rushed at Aiden, along with a force far greater than Desmond’s aura at its most powerful flying at him, aiming to pin the werewolf against a wall. Caesar was showing why Jacob was so cautious with him, the man had a mean streak and a vampiric power well above any of them, beyond any vampire they had yet to meet, and at last Shad might recognize the man. “I grow tired of your impulsive nature… beasts like you always were a pain in my ass… just because I don’t see a way out of the Debt’s conditions doesn’t mean I don’t see a problem here kiddo.”

Jacob was about to defend Aiden from Caesar, at least berate Caesar for attacking without reason but he stopped hearing the vampire’s words, “Wait? You mean there’s something we can do?”

“I don’t know that yet, Jacob, you didn’t bring me the right information…”

Amber winced, backing away from Aiden as he was attacked by the vampire. She watched him to make sure he was okay before turning back to the vampire. While it had hardly seemed necessary to attack anyone of their group, she wasn't about to stand up against a vampire, not one that Jacob was so cautious around. She tilted her head to one side.

"Not the right information? Then what exactly is the right information? What more could you possibly need to know?" she asked, though she knew even that was a bit risky; demanding information from the vampire. He seemed really annoyed now; possibly the group was getting on his nerves with fighting and impulsive actions.

“Ah, finally someone else asks a question, you must be Ms. Stilmyst, yes? Well while you might not know what I need I’m sure Starlet has figured it out by now,” he glanced over to the kitsune, “You brought me the Debt technicalities, however I require the actual contract to do anything about it.”

“Come on, do you really think these two signed something like that? There is no contract!” Jacob protested.

Caesar scoffed, “Oh come no Bismarck, these are demons we are talking about ,they are just as cunning if not more so than your own kind… they always have contracts, and in our world you don’t have to know you have signed it to know you agreed…” the entire club shook then with a violent crash, a man burst into the room and came to Caesars side, bowing slightly before whispering in his ear, “Ah, I see… well kids it looks like your time here is over…”
