Image

Personality

Personality: He's a lot saner than his brother. He's often in high spirits among his peers, however this is just a facade. He's very serious and depressed. He felt that he has been living too long for anyone. He realizes that this 'carnival' is a poison. He also is very tired when he is alone. He doesn't act depressed when his brother is around. He is serious, but seems happy when he's around. He doesn't know if his brother realizes that he wants out badly. He does have a touch of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, if things aren't exactly how they are supposed to be, then he becomes angry and lashes out at the offending person. When it is fixed, he is quick with an apology. Another thing he is known for is to make terrible puns. He's been around a while and he's heard them all. They are the only thing besides Alaska keeping him sane at this point. He does break the sacred rule very often... He calls Alexander, Alex.

History

History: Desmond was the younger of the two siblings. He always got looked over and people were always comparing him to his brother Alexander. He often tried to get out of his brother's shadow. It never worked however. He was always shown up. He resigned that he would always be second best to his brother. So he started being a follower. He even stayed when his brother started the Carnival. He was of course given second in command. He did however not like being there. Desmond often tried to undermine everything that his brother was doing. None of his plans worked however. That was until Alaska joined the Carnival. Alex took an immediate liking to her, but she choose him. Desmond couldn't believe it when it happened. He was sure that she would pick his brother. It always happened. People like him more. Desmond often wonders if the tunnel of dreams would work for him. He wondered if the tunnel would give him that release of this joke of a life.

So begins...

Wesley and Wyatt had just finished their performance in their famous freak show act. The twins headed back stage still merged together as one person, when they first realized their gift they had to learn how to take turns talking and moving in one body, now it was almost second nature to them. Some were convinced that the twins were only one person, other knew they were two but either way they freaked the hell out of people.

“How’d we do tonight, boss?” Wyatt asked, though Wesley couldn’t give a shit.
Wesley split himself from his brother, it was such a weird thing to see them split like they did, it would give anyone cold chills even seeing it hundreds of times.

“I’m out of here.” Was said and within seconds he disappeared from backstage.

“Sorry about my brother Alexander, you know his temper.” He frowned gently “Well, unless there’s anything else you want me to do I’m headed back to my trailer.” He said calmly.

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Wes was more than a little irritated as he appeared in the dancers tent, still in his show costume, he hated the thing but he didn’t bother to change, he could feel his body growing weak with every second that past. He made his way backstage earning looks from the dancers, some of them even yelling things like “Hey, you can’t be back here.” Or “Go back to your own tent freak.” And in any other situation he would have beat the shit out of those assholes, but at the moment he needed Alaska. He glared at the two dancers that were leaving her dressing room.

“Good evening, Wes.” Alaska smiled as she opened the door allowing him into her dressing room. Most people didn’t really understand Alaska and Wesley’s relationship, they thought it was weird and a little too secretive. Alaska locked the door behind them. She knew what he was here for and she didn’t bother with small talk she had a show to do, she simply pulled her long dark hair into a ponytail, and made a small incision in her next with a razor blade. The small of blood in the small dressing room immediately causing Wesley to change to his frightening vampire form and move quickly, to quickly for Alaska to catch and before she knew it she was forcibly pushed against the wall, causing her to let out a small pained noise as her body collided with the wall and his sharp teeth priced her neck.

He couldn’t control himself and what he did in his vampire form when he smelled blood, but oddly enough Alaska was not scared and she trusted him completely. After a few moments, he pulled away from her neck, her crimson blood dripping from his lips and chin as he slowly changed back into his human form.

“Finshed?” she teased gently

He simply gave her a flat look “Yeah, Ally, I’m finished. Sorry if I hurt you, don't want that boyfriend of yours to come after me.” His smirked sent chills through her it was sinister, yet she had seen it a thousand times.

“I don't know what your talking about,” She smirked as she unlocked the door and holding it open, much like she had done for Sophia and Marshall.

"Yeah, sure you don't everyone know about you and Desmond..." he teased

"Shut up! Know one knows now get the hell out!" she said raising her voice a bit.

Wes simply rolled his eyes as he headed out.

Desmond walked around the carnival. It was a sickening sight. He hated to see all these innocent people enjoying themselves while the rest of them had to work here for the rest of their unnatural lives. Everything seemed to go according to plan. The games were running smoothly, people were losing as much as they were winning. He put his hands behind his back and crossed them. He gave off an air that he knew what he was doing and how he was going about doing it. A smile never left his face. While he was walking a teenager no older than 17 bumped into him. The kid sputtered out an apology and started off, Desmond grabbed his shoulder and pulled a piece of paper out of his coat pocket. "Here, take this voucher and ride some of the rides. I hear the Ferris Wheel has a view that will take your breath away, and take somebody special with you." The teen took the paper and nodded his head. He started off again. When he looked back the man in the purple suit was gone.

Desmond appeared in the tent. He was on top of the bleachers. He held back a frown when he saw his brother. He despised the man, always had. He saw that everything was under control. So he disappeared again. He looked up and that he was outside Amelia's trailer. He still called Alaska by her real name when they were alone. He had learned it when she was at the carnival all those years ago. He decided he had no need to see her right now, he would return when the carnival was over. When prying eyes wouldn't be around. This time he appeared in the back stage of the tent. He saw the rest of the dancers and performers. He smiled and said, "How's everybody doing? Hope tonight isn't too rough on you guys. Remember, if you need anything, don't go to Alex. He won't get anything done. Come to me. Alright, I got places to be, things to make sure are running smoothly. So I'm going to make like a tree... and leave." With a flourish of his hand he was gone.

He was back at the main strip leading to the tent. He saw the teenager again, this time he was holding a girl's hand. Desmond smiled at the blossom of new love. It warmed his old heart, it hadn't been warmed since his first night with Amelia. He saw a few people enter the Tunnel. His heart was frozen again. He wanted to shut that thing down. He didn't mind being in the carnival business, but that damn thing made it terrible. Desmond sighed and continued making sure everything was running smoothly. That's when he saw the new girl, she seemed all alone. He walked over to her and put his arm around her, "Hey, I know it's rough. It doesn't get any easier. I've been here for... You know... I forget how long I've been working here. I helped open this place. Alex is... eccentric, and a pervert...and a psycho, and he's my brother. I still haven't gotten used to the old bastard. So, things are going take some time to get used to. I'm your new boss, Desmond. Unless you become a dancer, then Alaska's your boss, but until then I am. Well, technically Alex is your official boss, but in terms of who you listen to, it's either me or Alaska. Alright? So, cheer up. I'll be around." Desmond said with a wink and he disappeared.

Violet had only walked a few meters when a strange man in a purple suit appeared out of nowhere and put an arm around her. Her first reaction was to hit him in the face; he could be a rapist for all she knew. But she controlled herself and relaxed a little when he started speaking to her. She didn't want to get in trouble for walking around the areas where only the performers were allowed to be. "Hey, I know it's rough. It doesn't get any easier. I've been here for... You know... I forget how long I've been working here. I helped open this place. Alex is... eccentric, and a pervert...and a psycho, and he's my brother. I still haven't gotten used to the old bastard. Well, technically Alex is your official boss, but in terms of who you listen to, it's either me or Alaska. Alright? So, cheer up. I'll be around." Violet was still processing what the man had said when he disappeared again. "Wait!" she yelled out, but he was already gone. Some things were finally making sense to her, but the part about how she got there was still a mystery to her. Well, it all had to be some kind of big misunderstanding. It seemed like they all thought she was a new performer or something. And the man in purple had to be the ringleader. Violet searched the whole place with her eyes, but she couldn't see him. How did he do that? She needed to find him again so she could tell him that she wasn't supposed to be there, that it was all a big misunderstanding Another huge roar came from the crowd inside the giant tent and Violet carefully walked over and peeked in through a crack in the fabric. He had to be in there somewhere, right?
A man dressed in colourful clothes and makeup walked past her and she silently followed him to the other side of the tent to the backstage area. No one seemed to notice her when she walked inside; they were all busy doing whatever they needed to do. It was impossible for her to distinguish him from all those people, even though she was standing in the middle of everything. "He - hello?... Desmond?"

Alaska shot a few of the dancer’s looks as Wesley walked out of her room, the kind of look that, made your blood run cold. Before she shut her door she saw Alevina run by and she quickly tuned into her thoughts. She let out a small sigh, at one point or another everyone saw a close or distant relative. Alaska herself had seen her former fiancĂ© walking around the Carnival with a new wife and a few kids, but that had been so long ago now, but she knew the pain Alevina would be going through. She grabbed her silky black robe and quickly put it on as she went after the young girl. She found the young girl on the soft green grass behind the tent.

“Levi
” she said softly as she knelt down next to the girl. “They don’t remember you” she spoke in a kind tone. “That’s probably the only generous thing that Alexander does, it was like you never existed in their lives.” She probably seemed cold to the girl, but she had been here for some many years, she had gotten over it. “I know it’s hard, it never gets easy, I’ve been here for almost a hundred years and I’m still not use to this damn place.” She sighed “But, the trick is you don’t let anyone know that.” She smirked. “I have to get back to work, but why don’t you stop by my trailer tonight, we usually have an opening night after party, might be good for you, besides I don’t think I’ve ever seen you at one of our parties.” She winked as she stood up and headed back inside. She couldn’t help but let her mind wonder to the party that would happen that night, she hope her and Desmond could sneak off, it had been a while since they were alone and she missed him, but they also couldn’t chance getting caught.

Desmond was walking around the back of tent, when he heard his name. He looked around and saw Violet. She looked lost and confused. He took the long way around and tapped on her shoulder, when she turned around he had a smile on his face, "You called?" He could see the look in her eye that she wanted to talk about something important. Desmond inwardly sighed and put his arm around her shoulder again, "I know what you must be thinking, let's talk somewhere privately." Desmond winked and he disappeared with her in tow. When they appeared they were in his trailer. Nobody was allowed in here without either Alex and Desmond present. He sat her down on one of the chairs. He went from high spirited to serious in a heart beat. "Every time we get a new 'employee,'" he spat the word employee like it was venom, "They often think they are here by mistake and they don't belong here. I can tell you what, your right. It's a mistake being here, and you don't belong here. You belong living a normal life. Not a life of a performer. Now, I can tell you exactly how you came to be here. You won't like it, but you are going to have to hear it eventually. Your now the property of one Alexander, or at least your soul is." Desmond paused to let that piece of information sink in.

"Now, you sold your soul for your dream. I don't know exactly what yours was, but you got to live out your dream for one year. From what I hear, It's exactly how you wanted it. None of that half assed wish stuff. I would hope you get exactly what you wanted, because it comes with a terrible price. When that year is over you become an 'employee' or what I like to call you, a slave. There are upsides, and downsides, the downsides do however outweigh the upsides terribly. One is you live forever, but you have to work at this cursed carnival for the rest your time. Don't ask me if you can earn your freedom, Alex doesn't even tell me that." Desmond stopped for a minute and grabbed a glass and filled it with water, he drained the cup and put it on the counter. "Don't worry, there are plenty of nice people here at the carnival. There is one thing I can tell you that might make life a little easier, always listen to Alex. Trust me, I've had to live with him for the past 2000 years. It makes life so much easier. Now, I'll be taking question, comments, concerns," Desmond looked at his watch. They still had time to talk before his brother would come back. He didn't need a rumor of how he swept the new girl off here feet and had his way with her. That would look bad all around.

Wyatt nodded his headed use to the general insanity of the ringleader. He wasn’t bother by it at all surprisingly. He decided he better do as the ringleader said and leave. Him and his brother were done for the night and he could go get something to eat and just chill out, he never got much sleep these days, the carnival was open until 3 am and opened back up at 11am the next day, the only time any of the workers really got any rest was when they were traveling. He pulled a pack of cigarettes from the inside of his leather jacket and swiftly lit it with a match as he headed out of the tent, he took a long drag as he let the smoke fill his lungs before blowing it back out in O shapes, smirking at the trick he had learned from a mysterious man who had come through the carnival back in New Zealand.

As he swiftly made his way past the other workers, he spotted a girl who seemed to be lost, it looked as though she was a new employ they always had a look about him, he was tempted to change his course to go help her out until he saw Desmond, then he knew she would be upset, but okay. He actually really liked Desmond he gave the guy a lot of credit he was probably the most put together of them all. He continued out of the tent taking another drag of his cancer stick. He wondered were Wes was, he was always worrying about his brother, which probably wasn’t exactly the healthiest.

He passed by the dancers, maybe he’d watch a show tonight, he thought to himself, before seeing his twin come out of the tent. “Wes.” He called to his brother. Wesley smirked he was in a better mood having just had his feel of blood.

"So... I'm sixteen now?" was all Violet could think of asking him. This was a lot of information to get all at once, but the worst thing was how he sounded so normal about it. Violet looked at him with big eyes and open mouth. He was telling the truth, she didn't know why she could see that, but it was true. She was now a slave here... Part of her wasn't surprised at all; it was like that part had known it all the time, but the rest of her was in total shock. Even as a kid she had always believed in magic and aliens, but she'd never thought something like this would happen to her. This only happened in books, not in Violet Hayes life. Desmond was facing the counter and had his back against her. She knew that she could never escape, but the panic took over and she shot up from the chair he had positioned her in. "I can never leave?" she shouted with tears in her eyes. "I can never leave?" Violet tried to run forward, but she lost her balance, knocked over the stuff on the table and then landed on the floor of the trailer. The scared side of her took over her body completely and she started to shake and knock over more stuff while the tears was streaming form her eyes. "Oh, I'm sorry... I - I -" She tried to remove the things from the floor, but failed and it all fell down again. "Don't... I'm just..."

Desmond looked away when she asked how old she was. He couldn't meet her gaze. He hated what they were doing here. This often used to bring a tear to his eye, but those tears dried up with age. He could still feel the pain however that came with crying. When she shouted he turned around, He still couldn't meet her gaze. He saw her lose her balance. He was quick, but he wasn't quick enough to catch her before she knocked over a few things. He could feel his OCD kicking in. He squashed it and helped her pick up the stuff again. He hugged her and whispered in her ear, "Shhh, don't cry. It will all be alright. I know, it's going to be hard for a while. Like I said before, you have Alaska or I to help you get settled. I'm sorry about this, I wish that there was way for your soul to leave. I don't though," he back away from the girl and wiped away her tears, "Now, don't cry. Your not as cute when you cry." He sat her down again. He checked his watch and saw that it was about time for the dancers to go on. "Now, I wish we had more time, but the dancers are almost done. So we got to leave. I'll take you to your trailer. We're not going to teleport there, we're gonna walk." Desmond held out his hand for the girl.

Violet wiped away her tears and then took the man’s hand. She'd stopped sobbing now; instead she was just staring at the air in front of her. "Sorry I knocked your things over." She had her eyes open, but she wasn't seeing anything. She wasn't paying attention to anything around her, but her mind was in total chaos. It was too many bad news to get all at once and her mind was in constant battle.

A two-headed man from the freak show walked past them and she instantly tightened her grip around Desmond’s hand. Not because he was a freak, but because she suddenly didn’t trust anyone except for Desmond. She followed him out of his trailer and then spoke in a complete monotone voice as they walked. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that."

"It's fine, everybody reacts like you did. It's not often that the newbies are told by the Ring Leader's assistant, though. Also holding his hand, not many people get to do that either." Desmond looked her in the eyes and flashed her his warm smile. Her eyes betrayed what she was thinking, however. When the two head man walked by Desmond nodded his head and greeted the man. "Now, about your reactions to some of our other..." Desmond paused for a minute to think of the right word, "Friends. I'll call them friends. Will change in time. You will eventually view them as a family, somebody to rely on when times get tough. Things do get tougher around here. They do consist of fighting between the entertainers and the problems caused by beloved brother." He looked around and saw three (or two depends on what time of the day it is) of the nicer 'friends.' Sure, they were all nice people, but some were nicer than others. Levi, Wyatt, and Wes. He really didn't care for Wes, he had heard rumors about him going in Alaska's trailer. He was sure they were unfounded, and she wasn't the type of girl to cheat on him.

"Come on, I'll introduce you to some of the nicer people around here." He pulled Violet to where he saw the trio. "Violet, this is Levi, Wyatt, and Wes. They are part of the and I hate using this word, Freak Show. To be honest, all people are freaks. Levi, as you can tell is Half Spider, Wyatt and Wes, are immortal... Which we all gain immortality when we joined this place. They also have the power to combine into one person. Levi, Wyatt, and Wes, this is Violet the new girl." Desmond said with elaborate hand motions. He was trying to make things better for Violet. This type of introduction had blown up in his face in previous years. He hoped this year wasn't the case.

Wyatt lit another cigarette, the boy could easily go through three packs a day, unlike most he actually liked the taste and why the hell not smoke, it’s not like he could die from it, even though the idea in the being that initially got him addicted, was the thought that maybe it would kill him.

“I honestly don’t see anything wrong with you, your hot, top half and bottom half.” Wesley smirked to the girl. Wyatt shooting him a look blowing a puff of smoke in his face. Wes swatted at the smoke, he hated his brothers damn habit.
“Yeah were going, we always at least make an appearance
” Wyatt started but was cut off by his brother “Yeah, Ally would strangle both of us if we didn’t at least show up. He rolled his eyes.

The Twins turned when they heard Desmond’s voice as he introduced everyone. Wyatt simply smiled to the girl and bowed his head lightly before offering his hand “Pleasure, to meet you Miss Hayes.” He said in a gentlemen like to before looking to the ringleaders brother “Evening.” He nodded to Desmond.

“Found a new girlfriend already, hey doc, I don’t think Ally will be to happy bout that.” Wyatt Smirked, he really knew how to piss people off, it the worst ways possible “You Bringing her to Ally’s party, that’s wouldn’t be a smart move on your part.” He chuckled, noting the fact that the new girl was holding Desmond’s. Wyatt was probably one of the only other person that actually knew about Alaska and Desmond, He had caught them once together and had made remarks such as these ever since. “I’d be careful Vi, Alaska is liable to find a way to kill you.” He smirked his sinister smirk and his two K9 fangs were very noticeable.

Alevina rolled her eyes at Wesley's comment about her being hot top and bottom, before lightly punching his shoulder. "Darling, as much as I wish that were true, I think you should learn to be more honest. That, or get your brain checked." She smirked a little, before hearing they were going to make an appearance. Well that was true, the twins and Alaska were pretty close. She didn't know what it was about those three. It was like they were hiding something from everyone else. As if, they had secret information that absolutely no one else could know about.

She looked round at being introduced to a girl, no wait... she knew this girl. It was the one that she'd tried to be kind to before and had just freaked out before. She saw Violet holding hands with Desmond and rolled her eyes. Of course. A boy would calm her down. Levi forced a smile to Violet and then tilted her head slightly. "Pleasure to meet you, sweetie." She said, before shaking her head slightly and looking away. Well, it was pretty predictable. Some girl trying to comfort another girl would just be like any other stranger. BUT WAIT! Attractive guy comes along and tries being nice, and all of a sudden she'd found someone she could trust, even if she was perfectly nice to the girl when she was knelt on the ground getting grass stains all over her dress. She sighed gently, dropping the false smile and then getting more to drink. "Hey Wes. I thought you and Alaska had a thing going on?" She asked when the mention of Desmond and Alaska was brought up. "I mean, you're always going into her dressing room... going private for about half an hour or so..." She raised an eyebrow to him, silently asking him, "Were you making sexy time?"

Wesley froze when Levi spoke of his private meetings with Alaska and Wyatt nearly choked on the on the smoke from his cigarette as he laughed and coughed at the same time, at his brother being called out though he knew that there was nothing between Alaska and Wes not even a spark, hell it was more likely for there to be something going on between him and Alaska, but the dancer was more like a sister to them. Wesley composed himself but not before shooting Levi a dirty look.

“I wouldn’t do anything with her if my life depended on it, she’s too damn bitchy.” He finally said in a serious, though agitated tone.

“More like she wouldn’t do anything with you.” Wyatt added with a laugh. Wyatt looked to the young girls who seemed scared “Why don’t I take her off your hands, I wouldn’t mind showing her around.” The nicer twin looked to Desmond, before glancing to the young girl offering his hand to Violet.

Wesley scoffed crossing his arms in a pouty like manor “Yeah whatever see you guys at the party.” He frowned as he took off in the direction of him and his brother’s trailer.

"Come on, I'll introduce you to some of the nicer people around here." Desmond pulled her towards a group of performers. Levi, Wyatt, and Wes, this is Violet the new girl." Violet was still more focused on what he'd told her in the trailer than the freaks in front of her, but with a sigh she lifted up her head and looked at the people in front of her. She recognized the girl from before and was a bit shocked to see her legs. It wasn't something you would see every day, but she tried her best not to stare. "I.. sorry about before," she mumbled when she noticed how Alevina was looking at her.
One of the twins, he had to be Wyatt, smiled at her and nodded slightly. “Pleasure, to meet you Miss Hayes.” Violet smiled vaguely back, at least this guy seemed ok.
“Found a new girlfriend already, hey doc, I don’t think Ally will be to happy about that.” The other twin interrupted and the smile disappeared from Violet's face. Of course, the good and the bad twin. “You Bringing her to Ally’s party, that’s wouldn’t be a smart move on your part.” The guy smirked and flashed a pair of fangs. Violet tightened her grip once again, but then blushed when realizing she was almost crushing Desmond's hand. The other ones had also noticed how she was clinging to Desmond, but she still didn't want to let go. The whole situation was still too much for her. Maybe it would be better tomorrow, but she doubted it.

“Why don’t I take her off your hands, I wouldn’t mind showing her around.”The nicer twin looked to Desmond, before glancing to Violet offering his hand to her. "I..." Violet tried to figure out what to say, when a girl suddenly walked up to them and handed Violet a baby doll. “Hi here’s a gift, welcome to the carnival please take good care of my dolly, he will help get used to here”. Violet reluctantly took the dool with her free hand.

Desmond shot Wesley a very dirty look. He wanted to punch Wes in the face. He had no right to bring up Alaska and him. Much less bring it up in front of the new girl. That's when Levi brought up the rumor he had heard so many times before. Wes going into Alaska's dressing room. While he didn't exactly trust Levi, but she was a reliable source. He was going to have to talk with Alaska later, in private. He was going to get to the bottom of this. When he heard Wes bad mouth Alaska, now he wanted to kill him. He was trying to keep his anger in check. He had too, he couldn't rip Wes a new one, while the new girl was standing right next to him. When he trying to get his anger under control, he felt his hand get squeezed. Wyatt was trying to be a nice guy and take her off his hands.

"Wyatt, I just told her about her situation. I think that she needs some time alone, to think. You know how hard it is for people to get over the fact that they are... Stuck here forever. It's nothing against you, I think your one of the better guys here, but she needs some time. Everyone does when they first get here," Desmond started, "and get that damn brother of yours in line." He needed to smoke. He didn't smoke in front of anybody. It would ruin his image. Of course he didn't smoke cigarettes, he smoked a pipe. He was off musing about how the apple smoke would taste, a doll walked up, and offered herself to Violet, "and that's our resident mechanic. He can control puppets. He's been here a while. Don't be fooled. It's not actually him, he's somewhere around. In a coffin." He leaned into Violet's ear and whispered, "That doll. Don't trust it. I don't trust Victor as far as I can throw him."

"and that's our resident mechanic. He can control puppets. He's been here a while. Don't be fooled. It's not actually him, he's somewhere around. In a coffin." Violet frowned and glanced at the doll... how creepy. Desmond leaned into Violet's ear and whispered, "That doll. Don't trust it. I don't trust Victor as far as I can throw him." Violet nodded silently; yes she knew that this Victor guy was up to something. Even though the "girl" wasn't him, she could still feel how it hadn't been true what "she" said. Like there was this big sign saying "WRONG" or something. She kept on holding the baby doll though and smiled at the puppet. "Thank you Vic- girl..." She stared at the "girl" for some seconds and then turned her attention back to Wyatt. "Uhm, I... You can show me around tomorrow?" Violet said carefully to Wyatt like she was afraid he would get hurt. But Desmond was right, she needed some time alone.

Victor turned to Desmond and gave him a look that curded milk, which looked kind of funny on a what looked like a 8 year old girl. Suddenly the girl’s voice changed and the doll leaped out of violets arms, and both dolls looked at him and spoke simultaneous “Screw you Desmond, she’s gotta learn, not to trust this kinda crap, I wasn’t gonna pull the Chucky bit, just the why did leave me mom bit. Hey Girl remember this, here few people make it past their two hundredth birthday, there be here one day and gone the next, if you can’t live past two hundred then I won’t remember your name, and if you bother me with something trivial then you can go to hell, I mean that literally, where did you think you’d be going after selling your soul, remember this also girl if anyone gets too “frisky” call me, if he has a contract ill break a few limbs, if he doesn’t I guess the blood sucker over there can drink till he bursts. Oh and Desmond, we may not trust or like each other but we both know that if Lord Alexander finds out about your fling that this place will become an even worst hell for you than it already is, and I try to make sure no rumors get to him when he’s in a saner mood, but her and the blood sucker will be the next ones gone if he hears the rumors” and the puppets turned and started walking off, but they stopped and looked back and said ”girl if a time ever comes chose Lord Alexander, because anyone who sides with Desmond is as good as dead”

Alevina watched the reaction of Wesley with a constantly raised eyebrow, before the twin had stormed off, his temper getting the better of him. Her fists tensed up slightly in aggravation before he chased after the guy. "Wait! Wes!" She called after him, knowing she wouldn't be missing much with the conversation back in the carnival tent, and Wesley was one of the few people that she considered was actually 'okay'. Yes, as much as he, and most other people, denied it, Levi had seen a different side to him than that. Those nights when she'd been wandering around the grounds, she'd spotted him too. And although he was far away, he looked meaningful. Unlike the slightly angry, sometimes smirking, expression he usually carried around.

Levi dashed up to him, a decent amount slower due to slipping over multiple legs over and over. Seriously, it was like watching a 5 year old run in high heels. "I didn't mean any offence. I just... don't know what you get up to." She said, shrugging slightly. "That, and I'm curious. I've seen you go into her dressing room a lot. I just assumed..." She trailed off and then just stopped in her tracks. "Uh... nevermind darling. I guess I should just keep my mouth shut." She said, noting that down to herself. Future reference, don't say anything bad about Alaska in front of Wes. Or Wyatt. Or most of the dancers. Or Desmond... or anyone for that matter...

Theodore had been watching the conversation between the twins, Desmond, Alevina, and the new girl, figuring out the girl in a mere few seconds. "New girl, very new, been here about a day or so. For now, everything around her is freaking her out. But that's expected from any new person brought to a carnival out of the blue. However, you've been crying outside, a girl who's used to going to others for comfort and likes to have human contact, but possibly has difficulty trusting others straight away. A very honest, innocent girl. Perhaps too much so. Never met her parents and for that reason, any sign of a possible friend, she leaps at the opportunity." Theo smiled a little in his corner, his wistful voice quiet and only meant for himself. "Overall, nothing to be feared of, but possibly will be taken advantage of by multiple people in the carnival. Whether it be for sexual purposes, or maybe for information. Most likely, she will lose her virginity within about..." He glanced round to her and then tilted his head, before turning back down to his book. "A couple of weeks or so?" Theodore licked his finger and turned the page on his book before looking up at the sounds of moans coming from inside the tent.

"The orgy's started already?" he asked himself with a raised eyebrow. "They must be eager tonight... Bunch of horny bloody bastards." He said, his accent really ringing out in that last statement. Theo gently looked out onto the stage and then rolled his eyes. "How humiliating for them. Though, I suppose if any of the women were to get pregnant out of this, which some of them will, they will be oblivious as to how they managed to get that way, due to losing their memories by the morning..." He glanced over to Desmond, as if silently ranting about how terrible it was before walking to the carnival tent opening. "I've run out of candies and cakes in my trailer, be a dear and find me some more." He gave Desmond a small wink without a smile and then walked out into the open.

Alaska let out a very dark, but somehow still sweet giggle when Marshall had asked if she regretted anything. “I don’t know Mocha, are you going to make me regret anything?” she said turning to him and giving a wink.

The hard beat of tainted love boomed loudly through the speakers and Alaska lead the two out as she walked slowly and calculated out heel toe heel toe, the crowed was watching intently almost hypnotize it seemed. She began to roll her body the other to dancing out their part and she watched them as she performed her moves leaning back and then rolling back up, for a moment she thought about leaving the two, they were performing so well and even she was enjoying watching them, but she figured after tonight she would choreograph a show just for them, but she wouldn’t tell them that.

Finally it was her turn to dance with Marshall while Sophia danced her semi solo. She rubbed all over Marshall and though it looked very sexual to the crowed to her it was just a dance. As the song drew to a close the three of them united as the two girls both danced with Marshall, making it look as though they were having a threesome though, through a very hot a steamy dance number. The dance ended and the tent went black, it was the loudest applaud since Alaska had done her first show at the carnival. Which Alaska was quite happy about, they had to find their way in the darkness which was like second nature to Alaska and before she had time to talk to the two, she had to go out and close the with her solo.

Alaska’s performance was going perfect, then she froze, she started gasping for air her hands flew to her throat tears ran down her cheeks, she couldn’t breathe. Then within seconds she was on the floor, out cold, her breathing had returned to normal for the most, but something had happened and her body seemed to be in shock, it was pale and colder than normal, but at least she was alive. The other dancers watched in horror back stage, as the crew member cleared out the theater.

Wyatt nodded to her “of course, I’d be happy to show you around whenever you are ready.” He smiled, not bother at all. “I do apologize for Wesley, he really doesn’t mean it, he thinks he’s funny.” Wyatt said knowing how pissed off Desmond was. “Well I better go check on him.” Wyatt gave a small bow before noticing the dancer’s tent being evacuated, he looked to his watch the show still had a good ten minutes, Alaska wasn’t one for closing the show early, but it was her party tonight, he thought as he started off in the direction of his brother.

Wesley was aggravated beyond what he normally was, no one understood the extent of his problem and it drove him insane. He was walking at a fast pace before he heard Levi, he tried his best to ignore her, he didn’t want to hear her apology, but Wesley was unable to hold his tongue very long. “Yeah you should learn to keep your mouth shut.” He said harsher then he meant to but continued “If you really want to know what the mystery is and you think Alaska is such a horrible cheating whore.” He said raising his voice a bit, before taking a deep breath trying to calm himself before he spoke again, anger still in his voice but calmer “I’m a monster, you have nothing to worry about your beautiful legs and all” his voice was sincere “But, me
I have to have blood to stain me, human blood only any other blood is poison to me and even without a soul that is the one thing that can kill me know matter what.” He frowned gently “Alaska, is my source of blood, without her there is no telling how many lives I would have taken, hell I could be dead.” He stated firmly “Are you satisfied know, you can go run and tell all of your friends the new gossip.” He said irritated.

Desmond groaned tonight wasn't his night. Usually everybody is quiet and nothing is going on except usually business. He had heard the fortune teller's request. He didn't care right now what his image was, He pulled out his pipe and light it. Besides, it was only the new girl that was around him. He took a nice healthy breath of it and exhaled it slowly enjoying the apple taste of the smoke. He made sure that he didn't get any in Violet's face. "As you can see, there are petty squabbles between us. I think the term you would use would be drama. I don't keep up with the lingo through out the ages. I've given up. It changes so quickly. Now, I believe it's time to take you to your trailer." He said motioning towards the lot of them. He knew which one was her's she didn't need to say it. He looked at it and sighed, "That's a terrible color. Hideous really. I'll repaint it. I know, I wouldn't want to live in something of that color." Desmond brought her hand up and kissed the knuckles, "Stay out of trouble now, and don't let what you heard bother you. I'll check in on you later." He tipped an invisible hat and disappeared.

He appeared outside of the tent. The was something wrong. He fought through the crowd getting about halfway there realize he could teleport there. He walked into the back, he didn't see a single soul. Not there was one to be had anyway. He ran out onto the stage and saw Alaska lying there. He knelt beside her and turned to Marshall and Sophie, "What happened? Tell me now!" She felt cold, her breathing was normal, but she was cold as Ice. "Go start a hot bath." He wasn't thinking clearly. He would have gone and got it, it would have been quicker, but his mind was on the fact Alaska was lying there.
