stray dog strut
In light of many situations in Yokohama, Tokyo, involving a certain American organization (The Guild) and the Armed Detective Agency's employee (Nakajima Atsushi, also known as the weretiger), a group of foreigners (and a few Japanese locals) from all over the globe have moved to the island of Yokohama. In all honesty, their reason for moving to Yokohama was one reason and one reason only; the excitement of the city that follows the aforementioned events. This group of eight individuals decide that, once they settled down, they would open up an odd jobs shop. Now, the eight set up shop in a the third floor of the very same building the Armed Detective Agency are on (and just a floor underneath). All is well for the eight friends, but here's the catch—they don't have a license to use their abilities in Yokohama. Despite them not using their abilities on their jobs (or rather, they at least use their abilities on the DL), there is always the fear of getting caught.

When one day the Odd Jobs [name pending] gets found out by an Agency employee, the eight beg for the detectives to not tell the authorities. They comply, but on one condition—that the Odd Jobs [name pending] work for them now, and they carry out odd jobs and cases that aren't quite their caliber, but are too much for the average person without an ability. They have no choice but to comply with the demands, and at least they'll be getting paid for it. Since they agreed, they do the work, but nothing could have prepared them (or even have warned them that they might be way in over their heads) for what follows. The Armed Detective Agency is a distinguished and respected group, after all, and the jobs they receive would reflect that.
Complications don't stop there, though. The Port Mafia (a criminal organization) also has the Odd Jobs [name pending] under their radar, and plan to use them for their own use, as well. Despite the ADA and Port Mafia's current truce, working for both sides may not bode very well for these eight ability users. The eight of them will find out just how to deal with these things, while also balancing their own business. They'll face hardships and difficult decisions, that's for sure, but one thing is for sure—together, they'll be able to accomplish anything. Follow these eight friends on their journey, and keep them out of the radar of the authorities.

Rules:
- No godmodding. You should know not to do this by now.
- All characters must be named after an author. That's just how Bungo Stray Dogs works. You can check which authors are available here if you aren't familiar with the series but still would like to join. (NOTE: You may collaborate with another person to make a character always with and/or related to your character, but they must be named after a character in the author-named character's book. Example: Lewis Carroll having a little sister named Alice.)
- Should canon characters show up (which will be in rare instances), I'll probably play them for the time being. Don't be confused if this happens, considering the basis of this RP.
- Abilities are, as you would expect, special (borderline magical) abilities that can range from pretty much anything. All abilities are named after respective books by authors. Go wild.
- Age isn't so important here as long as your character is not a child. Teenagers are fine, though.
- Exaggerate something that the author your character is named after had! This isn't a requirement, but it's interesting. Like how Dazai Osamu in BSD is obsessed with suicide, just as the real Dazai Osamu was, as well.
- Have fun! :')
