BASICS

Title and/or Aliases: The Fairy of Frost, The Foolish Fairy
Age: Unknown (People have recalled witnessing her for at least two generations, yet even she forgets her true age)
Gender: Female
Species: Fairy - These feeble creatures are said to be the embodiments of nature. Wherever a fairy sleeps, the plants grow even when on the edge of death, and wherever they play, the forest sings praise, the fields dance and the water greets. Yet, very few are allowed witness of fairies as they reside away from all other civilized creatures, or at least most of the time they are. Every fairy has some sort of special ability that relates to some part of nature which can scarcely harm a person. Fairies, however, are considered a nuisance to people, at least humans, in many ways. Indeed, they are known well for mischief as they will go out of their way to befall misfortune upon any unlucky suspect, whether it is making a traveler lose his way or dropping stones on him. Their abilities are usually problematic for people, such as causing weeds to grow in gardens or even through stone. Often, when something unexplainable happens, such as the disappearance of an object or even a person, fairies are to blame. Fairies represent all that is untame about nature and all that cannot be explained easily. Fairies most often take on the deceiving appearances of young children, whom like nature, are difficult to tame. Yet, it doesn't matter how much one scolds a fairy or hinder a fairy's tasks, fairies are incorrigible and will harshly change, just as nature is incorrigible. Such is why very few fairies take an appearance older than a child.

Fairies also are very difficult to kill physically. They can be harmed, but it takes a great deal of effort to truly kill a fairy as they will merely recover, however such a recovery may take a long period of time and will often render a fairy weak and unable to move very easily as most fairies will take on a form of chrysalis, which varies in nature depending on the fairy's power, to protect themselves and to keep their injured flesh unexposed. This process can take up a lot of power. Yet, while fairies are very resistant to physical injuries, they only stay strong as long as they are connected to nature. If they were to be taken away from nature, they would gradually become weaker, and using their powers only weakens them even further. A fairy can become weak enough to fail to recover from physical injuries then and may be vulnerable to physical harm or they may become so weak that they fail to be able to sustain their own existence and merely become dormant with little hope of waking up again, or in really extreme cases, may just fade away (this is more likely to happen depending on age). Of course, very few people have witnessed a fairy's death and nobody has witnessed a fairy's birth other than a fairy.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Appearance: Chiru takes on the appearance of a very young girl, no older than seven, an appearance that represents an undying naivety and an appearance that has harshly changed throughout her entire life. Her skin hardly has any imperfections, no fairy would have any, and is cool to the touch, yet hardly lifeless like a corpse would be. Her short hair is a light blue, just as the sky is, and is often tinged with frost like that which appears all over the grass grass in a chilly November morning. Her eyes are blue as well, but a deeper blue like that of the vast sea of which meets the sky at the horizon. One of her most apparent features are her wings. Every fairy has a unique set of wings and Chiru's take the shape of three diamonds on each wing, their translucency, imperfections and light blue color making them appear like crystals of ice. Chiru's presence is always dominated with the feeling of frost and an appearance like that of the uncommon diamond dust that glitters in a cold morning.
Clothing: The clothing Chiru does wear, she hardly ever changes and thus, unlike her perfect skin, there is evidence of wear on them. Things like grass stains and dirty patches and tears of which have been sewn together are prevalent on her clothing. She wears a white blouse, where stains are most visible on the short sleeves, and a cherry-red ribbon of which is tied around the collar in a bow (just as Daisy taught her). Over it, she wears a blue jumper dress which has the most evidence of wear on it. She still does her best to clean it, however. In her hair, she has a great big blue bow of which she treasures (though she can't put it on herself) and hardly goes anywhere without it. She has no form of footwear, however, and is nearly always barefoot. Where Chiru's clothing came from, even she doesn't know. She merely found each piece floating down a stream one day, which where she finds a lot of things from the settlements of people. She merely loves wearing it all as her favorite color is blue.
Height: 45 inches
Weight: 40 pounds

PERSONAL INFORMATION

ImagePersonality: Chiru is a very playful and outgoing girl, like most fairies. Indeed, she loves to play around like any other fairy and she indeed loves to create mischief, but she often sets her sights out even further than other fairies. She is naturally curious, many fairies are, but she is more curious than most. Indeed, anything that catches her interest, she'll investigate even further, and she is very interested in humans, among other creatures. Most fairies would stay away from them, but Chiru does the very opposite and she'll even go so far as to wander around in townships. She's usually very friendly, but indeed, she can easily cause trouble.

Really, Chiru isn't exactly the most clever fairy there is. Often, she'll try to fix something only to succeed in destroying it even further. She may try to clean something only to mess it up even further. Often she'll try and complete a task or try to come up with a clever plan only to have it hit her back in the head (often literally) yet no matter how much it may hurt or how many times she fails, she never truly gives up.

Indeed, Chiru vows never to give up. She is a very brave girl and refuses to back out from any sort of challenge and does her best not to cry when she is unable to do something. After all, she vows to be the strongest person in the world, mostly because it sounds cool. She's not entirely sure what it means to be the strongest, whether it's physical strength, magical power, combat prowess or perhaps intelligence or some other form of mental strength, but she does know it means that she is the best at anything and that she must never accept defeat. Of course, this often ends up in her randomly picking fights with people. However, Chiru's got a squirrel's attention span.

Phobias/Fears: Chiru claims that she has no fears, but she actually has plenty of fears, many of them in fact. Only, she does her best to overcome them as best she can.
Goals/Desires: Chiru wishes to become the strongest fairy in all of Cathidus, but she is unsure of how to do so. All she knows is that she must never lose to anything, whether it to be against a sorcerer or a locked door.
Sexual Orientation: Chiru hardly understands this sort of love anyway. She only wishes to be best friends with everybody.

ARMAMENTS/ABILITIES

Skills: Fairies, though there are many, all have unique abilities. Chiru's special ability is the ability to completely freeze anything, even air (although, the lower freezing point something has, the more difficult it is to freeze, so she can't really freeze a gigantic block of air at ease) or simply moisture in the air. That way, she can encompass solid objects in a layer of ice. Her ability, however, is limited to her only being able to freeze anything of which she touches. She is able to extend that touch, however, by freezing anything that touches something that is already frozen that is touching her, such as freezing a stick and touching something with it to freeze it as well, or freezing the moisture in the air around her to create a shield that can freeze things that are thrown or shot at her. Thus, this ability has more defensive capabilities than offensive. Also, her chrysalis is made from ice.

All fairies have the passive ability to nurture the growth of plants wherever they reside and can even fully heal a wilted flower or cure a sick tree if they were to stay around it all day and sleep around it. Her wings also allow her flight, like any fairy, but she often prefers walking short distances and only flies when she really needs to as flying is often very tiring. Also, just like other fairies, she is able to recover from nearly any physical injury, though often when recovering, she wont be able to do much during the duration of the recovery, however long that is. A really minor injury like a scrape can be healed in minutes and may leave behind frost, but something like a bad cut wound may take hours to days, yet Chiru only needs to keep a specific part of her body protected with ice. While she is healing, she will likely not have the ability to fly and won't have as much power to freeze things. If it is a major or extensive injury, however, Chiru can keep her entire body protected inside a hard ice chrysalis that completely encompasses her and keeps her protected, although it's not completely unbreakable as it's only a thick layer of ice. In this state, she is constantly either in a state of deep-sleep or half-sleep and during a stage of half-sleep it is possible for her to hear what is going on outside of her chrysalis and can be awakened suddenly if it is destroyed, but during deep-sleep she will not be responsive to anything, even if the chrysalis is broken, making her vulnerable.
Armor/Tools: Absolutely nothing. She might pick up a strange object lying around somewhere, but she'll easily forget about it. At most, she can use ice to protect herself or make an icy brick.

HER PAST

Chiru's life is rather mysterious, mostly due to the fact that fairies normally keep to themselves and stay away from any sort of settlement (they even tend to stay away from elves) and live nearly anywhere people don't. Wherever they do live, however, they're presence merely makes nature thrive. Often forests that are infested with fairies or have been at one point will have unnaturally large plant growth, such as giant trees, mushrooms and flowers and the like, and they are often so thick with plant life that traversing them is extremely difficult, especially with much light being blocked by the large trees overhead. Such forests, however, are popular for having rare plants such as herbs that may have a high medicinal value or have very potent poisons and the like. Chiru lives in one of such forests, living on the edge of a very large lake which blankets the surrounding area in a thick fog in the morning. These areas are very clear of any people or settlements as people tend to avoid this forest in fear of losing their way and being kidnapped by fairies or suffer some other fate. Chiru was born on the edge of the lake in a chilly December morning, although fairies don't have parents. They just merely appear beside water or in the middle of a flowerbed or next to a very old tree or something of that nature.

Of course, this area was heavily populated by fairies, fairies of all kinds. Some fairies loved playing around flowers, some lived in trees, some lived around or even in the lake, some flew all the way up into the clouds, some danced under mushrooms and some played around during the day and some played around during the night. Fairies were merely children whom lived happily within nature. Yet, it wasn't as if they were wild animals. Indeed, fairies always tended to band together and create groups, often just to play or pull mischief. Yet, these children do organize themselves loosely. Younger fairies are always taught by Greater fairies, whom teach them how to do new things and what sort of dangers are to be avoided. Greater fairies may have slightly older appearances, perhaps taking on the appearance of preteens or even young adults, but all fairies are different in some way. The teacher that Chiru looked up to was Daisy, a Greater fairy whom of which was wiser than her kin but very cautious of the unknown, and was a sort of sister figure to Chiru.

Chiru, however, has always been curious of things, such as of humans whom of which she would pull mischief upon. After all, for much of her life up to that point, she had harshly left the forest or the vicinity of the foggy lake. So, she would often go out and explore places very far away for periods of time, such as townships of humans or the tops of mountains or even going so far as to visiting the sea, yet she always returns home whenever she begins to feel homesick (which fairies can apparently die from) where she'll tell great tales of her adventures, such as when she fought a giant catfish or when she defeated the ravenous chicken army or when she bested the watermelon thief, and similar adventures.

However, Chiru isn't the strongest in terms of memory. Plenty of things have happened in Chiru's lifetime that she forgets about all the time. Fairies often only remembered pleasant things and tend to forget even terrible experiences. If anything bad has happened in Chiru's lifetime, she probably had forgotten about it. Yet, there may be people out there whom do not.

Still, Chiru wishes to continue on her goal to become the strongest fairy in Cathidus. Chiru doesn't remember exactly what sparked this, but she merely decided that this had to have been so and that she was going to stop at nothing to achieve this. Yet, Chiru would have never realized that her biggest adventure yet has just begun.

My dear ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, friends and those I have yet to meet. It is time to begin our tale. A tale of adventure, struggle, freedom, and friendship. A tale which will be woven into the generations to come. A tale about you. This tale will be woven by your actions and your decisions. It will be made with your thoughts, your burdens, and your desires. So be strong, be wise, and let us see what this tale unfolds for us all.

Cinderstone was awake and alive, bustling with normal activities of it's citizens and the creatures within. The sky was nothing but a flawless blue stream, only parted by the radiant sun that shone warm rays upon the towns people. Just like any day in Cinderstone, the streets were crowded with men, women, and children going about their normal business. Merchants selling their items on stands in the streets, the shops and stores having been open for hours, and the city square bustling with commotion. The elegant fountain built in the middle, containing dozens of gold and silver coins, flowed as normal, children playing with the water that fell. An occasional knight stood, watching with smiles under their helmets, as they guarded the citizens from potential threats. It was just any other day within the city. All was well and the citizens went about their lives in peace.

"Fresh fish!" A merchant exclaimed. "Fine jewels!" Another shouted. All along the street sides merchants and vendors promoted their merchandise. Within the square a fool dances and juggled in his red and white suit, the bells on his hat jingling along with the crowds joyful laughter.

Not too far from the square was the city prison. It wasn't anything more fancy looking than the rest of the buildings within the city, but it was more secure than most. While most of the homes and buildings within the city was was build with a stone foundation, and maybe stone walls, they typically were made of wood. The prison, although looking similar in shape, was made completely out of stone. The floor, the walls, and the cells all were made of stone, making it difficult for prisoners to escape. Torches lite the hallways with a blazing heat and the cell doors were thick and supported by metal hinges. There were two guards at the end of the hallway in which the cells were at, likely there to prevent any prisoners from leaving the prison.

There was a jingle of keys and a soft click as the broad doorway opened. The two guards stood where they were as two men who also worked at the prison stepped into the hall. The guards closed the door behind them as they bickered at each other.

"Even if we did he likely wouldn't be here any longer than this time." One rolled his eyes, straightening his slouch.

"But who knows. Maybe next time he'll steal something from a cart instead of smash it. You never know." The other held up the key chain and started flipping through the keys.

The other man merely groaned and stopped in front of a cell. The one inside being asleep. He kicked the door three times with his boot, the other unlocking it and swinging it open. "Time's up kid."

Unlike the city, which was bustling with activity among the people, the forest was as peaceful as ever. Known for it's lush and abundant brush and trees, Sipour forest was a wonderland for nature's animals and hunters. With numerous types of species within, the forest is often a perfect example of the natural world.

But today, long, narrow tracks were left on the edge of the forest, the grass and dirt flattened by the stamping of feet. The lines that ran along side the forest, heading towards the city were deep and cut into the ground. Something heavy obviously traveled by...

Be wary children, be wary of the woods, for more threatening than the known beasts of which lurk within them are the unknown possibilities. Indeed, children knew little of the world, and unable to be allowed the freedom of sating their hunger for knowledge, it is the adults of which feed them knowledge of which protects them against what even they are unsure about, so their children remain tame, and thus, safe. Safe from what, the unknown? Or is it merely the potentials? Indeed, both children and adults hunger for knowledge, an absolutely insatiable hunger of which tells them to learn new things, to protect themselves. Once the unknown becomes known, it is no longer a threat that is able to create such a fear in the hearts of men that the unknown was capable of. Yet, the only way to turn unknown into known was to face the unknown itself. Those whom failed to do so created stories and superstition, creating false knowledge that they would believe would protect themselves and sate their need to learn. It was simple and effective and protected a lot of people, yet did not provide them any additional benefit.

Though, there was one child whom refused to do as she was told, an unruly child. She knew that superstition was merely something meant to hold her back, to keep her tame. This child, however, was one whom would never be tamed. Just like the will of nature, she did whatever she wished and nothing could stop her. She also knew that if she had the strength to tame the unknown whereas those close to her did not, she could have had the potential to become the most powerful child in all of Cathidus. Though, this wasn't an act of rebellion against those she loved, for in taming the unknown, she would be keeping them safe with her own power, and with such a power of her own, she could keep everybody safe!

Only, once she faced the unknown, she began to doubt her own power for the first time. The unknown had merely appeared ever so suddenly and it was a beast like no other. It may have not looked like what the stories had told of it, but it may have been even worse. It was a truly large creature, it's leathery skin covered in a thick layer of scales, and covering that was a suit of armor of which shielded nearly the whole creature's body. The girl was absolutely horrified as her eyes were locked with the creature as it crept toward her ever so slowly with the careful step of a panther. It's neck extended far out of its body as it was dead-set on making a meal out of the child with the gaze of a crocodile.

"No! I'm not food!" the poor child cried, having fallen upon her butt and unable to bring up the courage to run away, but the unknown creature wasn't phased. Slowly, it crept toward the girl and gradually it closed its difference. The girl's heart sank with ever passing second as her fate was at hand. The girl knew that her shouts were futile and merely wished the monster would stop taunting her so and merely end it all already! Yet the creature continued to take its time, almost as if it were enjoying it. It was mere only a mere foot away from the child now, its much larger mass towering over hers. Its neck began to extend from its body, pushing its head toward her. The girl extended her hand, of which was covered in sweat and was gripping something. The creature gazed at it with its beady little eyes, it seeming somewhat confused.

"You stupid turtle!" the fairy girl cried in frustration, throwing the leafy green weeds on the ground. She stood up from her sitting position and bent over the creature, a very large tortoise of which was about a meter in length, and made a rude gesture at it, sticking her tongue out and tugging down on one of her eyelids to reveal the pink flesh underneath it. The oversized reptile didn't pay attention, however, and slowly moved it's head toward the ground and began to pick up the uprooted leafy green plants with it's beaked mouth and began to feast. Certainly, it was a big, yet harmless creature.

"You're no Beef-moth," Chiru spat. Chiru had heard tales of a great big creature from the other fairies, a giant creature said to have created lakes with his footprints and gobbled up entire forests to create grasslands and deserts, a Behemoth. Of course, Chiru had no idea what a Behemoth looked like, only that it was a giant fearsome creature. Yet, what drove Chiru to look for such a monster was that she had seen the monster itself one night. Chiru was merely lying by the side of the lake, on the verge of falling asleep, when suddenly a giant creature had appeared out of the mist and gave off an absolutely unusual roar, and then had merely disappeared. None of the other fairies remembered seeing or hearing such a beast, but Chiru felt that such a beast would have been a danger to everybody! Yet at the same time, if she could tame it, she would truly have become the strongest and wouldn't have to fear anything. Nobody had to fear anything. If the bad guys that had taken their home before came again, she would be able to scare them off with the Behemoth.

Chiru was sure this Behemoth had to have been somewhere nearby, so she had, since the day before, been searching all over for this beast, even going as far as Sipour forest. Finally, she had come across this tortoise, of which was one of the largest she had ever encountered. Chiru was nearly certain this was the Behemoth she was looking for, so she had spent the entire morning attempting to tame the creature. Except, only now did Chiru realize that this was just a regular old tortoise. She watched as it continued feasting on the same grass and leaves she tried to feed it.

"You're really just like a dumb old man," Chiru grumbled at it, "I should give you a dumb old name. I'll call you Dumb-Old Genji, you like that?" The tortoise gave no distinguishable response. "He~ey Dumb-Old Genji, do you know where I can find a Bee-moth?" A smirk was slowly returning to Chiru, enjoying being able to make fun of the creature without it giving a care. "See 'ya Dumb-Old Genji, just you wait, I'll become the strongest! And when I do, maybe I'll make you my lackey! How's that sound?" The tortoise shifted its head slightly upward. Chiru grinned. Being the strongest meant everybody respected you.

After giving her farewells to the big-old tortoise, she began to walk aimlessly, singing songs of which had no real pace or pattern to them, as she was merely coming up with words on the spot. Something along the lines of 'The leaves autumn split into more leaves when I step on them, it only means I'm the strongest because Mister and Miss said so' and such. She was still intent on finding a Behemoth, but she didn't know where to look. She could have simply returned home. Chiru always was able tell how to return home no matter where she was, yet how she could do it wasn't entirely clear. Chiru didn't want to do so yet, for she knew that the Behemoth was still around and as long as it was roaming around, they were all in danger, and none of the other fairies even realized it.

Chiru was in the middle of her song-filled day dream, merely roaming aimlessly, just a bit side-tracked from her goal, when suddenly, her foot caught on a crevice on the ground and she nearly tripped. Her face was merely a foot or two away from the ground before she caught herself with her wings and fluttered back into a standing position. She looked around with her arms up for any possible attackers, but upon remembering that she merely tripped, she looked at the ground.

They were the strangest looking tracks she'd ever seen. They looked something like animal tracks, but then there were some long thin ones that made deep indents into the ground, as if something heavy was dragged. Something heavy... Chiru realized it might have been a Behemoth that had taken this path and made these tracks. She tried to figure out in which direction the Behemoth may have traveled in, but in the end, she decided by twirling herself around until she got dizzy and ran in the direction she faced, but veered off to the right a few times out of her dizziness. Yet, there was no time to waste. Chiru needed to go as fast as she could if she was going to catch up to the Behemoth.

After all, Chiru was the strongest!

Chiru ran down the path where the tracks were left until she got tired of it, which was when she began to skip. When she got tired of skipping, she decided to walk. When she got tired of walking, she sat, wiping sweat from her forehead. Not once had she been able to catch up to the Behemoth she was chasing. Chiru had absolutely no idea how such a big and heavy creature could possibly be so fast and how it couldn't have gotten tired. Although, because it hadn't stopped, meant it probably somehow was able to tell that Chiru was giving it chase. Certainly, the Behemoth was a commendable foe for having such an intuition, but Chiru was unhindered. The idea that the Behemoth was so scared out of its wits to run away from her was exciting.

"I'm coming for you, Bean-mouth!" Chiru shouted as loudly as she could managed, cupping her hands around her cheeks to amplify her voice. There was no answer but the sounds of birdsong, the hissing of the cicadas and the dancing of the breeze through the leaves of the trees. Standing up, Chiru decided it was probably best to scout on the path ahead. Perhaps in doing so, she might be able to witness the big creature over the cover of the trees. In fact, Chiru should have done so in the first place, as the Behemoth would have been easy to see from the sky. Chiru bounced to her feet and with a great big jump, Chiru took to the air, her crystallized wings beating rapidly, like those of a dragonfly, as she darted straight up into the air.

Being about fifteen meters in the air, Chiru could see in every direction for miles and see nearly nothing but treetops. Obviously, she couldn't see the foggy lake for that place was many, many more miles away. Off in the horizon were great big mountains of which were sprinkled by frost which shone in the light of the morning sun of which was directly above. Ahead of her were great big green and yellow fields and valleys of which lacked the thick coverage of trees that Sipour had. Yet sitting between all these, features molded out of stone and placed somewhere between them all lay, features certainly not placed there by nature or stepped out of a Behemoth's foot. Why, it was a fortress of rock, a city. The City of Cinderstone.

Chiru was no stranger to Cinderstone, but she wasn't a common face either. Cinderstone was rather far away from the foggy lake where Chiru called her home. After all, nothing was near it. If there were, then there probably wouldn't have been fairies there. After all, there were many fairies that lived near the lake or in the areas surrounding it, perhaps totaling hundreds. Sipour forest, at least from Chiru's experience, only contained a handful of fairies in comparison, a hundred at the very most, but it may have just been a few dozen to a handful. Of course, they would have resided hidden away in some of the deepest crevices of the woods and kilometers away from Cinderstone and at least some distance away from the main roads. Chiru probably wouldn't have been able to find them unless she actively was searching for them, but she had no beef with those fairies anyway. Chiru wasn't interested in other fairies at all, she's lived with them nearly her entire life. Rather, she was more interested in anything that wasn't a fairy.

Cinderstone was massive, however, and made a big wide gap in the natural features around it with its sprawl, a sprawl that was easy to imagine but couldn't truly be seen except from above, a perspective that only winged beasts such as birds and dragons were allowed. Of course, fairies like Chiru could have this view as well, but only Chiru really dared to get close enough to Cinderstone to do so. Cinderstone was bordered by walls of stone and consisted of nothing but man-made structures within, a vastly different environment from the flat one that bordered it. Even outside the city, though it wasn't as easily visible from where she was viewing, was the vast and never-ending fields of monocultured plants, completely uninteresting to Chiru, but not any less vast.

Although, Cinderstone itself was very interesting. There were many unusual foreign people whom lived there, such as humans, and they all had a very curious way of life in a very unusual environment. Most fairies would avoid such places, but Chiru's curiosity was always predominant over precaution. There were many peculiar people much bigger than her, whom acted peculiarly much of the time and did peculiar things and Chiru, as a curious child, had to sate her lust for knowledge.

This time, however, was different. After all, she was searching for a Behemoth. The path she was taking where the Behemoth left its unusual tracks lead directly toward Cinderstone, yet Chiru wondered if a big creature like a Behemoth could really hide in a city like Cinderstone. Maybe somebody could have seen it pass on through and point her in the right direction toward it.

So Chiru flew the rest of the way directly toward Cinderstone. She flew out of the forest and pass the great big walls which entombed the city of which was bustling with liveliness which, unlike the farmlands outside of it, was not a monoculture (though it would seem like one at a first glance). Chiru faced directly downward and spread her arms out on either side of her to catch the air, watching all the little people below, appearing like ants below her feet at the height she was at. Occasionally, a person or two would like up at what they had initially assumed was a bird, only to see that it was not a bird, but a child flying, which seemed to come as a shock to them, causing them to voice their observations to their fellow man to confirm the quality of their vision. Chiru wasn't looking for people, however. She was looking for the Behemoth's tracks. Unfortunately, much of Cinderstone was paved with stepping stones of which no prints would be left behind, except possibly a Behemoth's, but Chiru wouldn't be able to tell. There was no way she could tell for sure in the air.

Chiru readjusted the angle of her body back into a standing position as she slowly descended toward the ground into one of the busiest parts of town, the square. What caught her eye most was the fountain, of which refracted the light of the sun, coating it in a whitewash and turning the water into a beacon of light, at least from her angle. It seemed like the only clear landing position, plus its brightness attracted the simple-minded fairy, so she gently descended into the fountain, the water going up to her knees.

Chiru took a moment to look at her own feet sitting at the bottom of the fountain. She had stepped on some sort of flat pebbles, only to find that these pebbles were actually shiny coins of which were lightly broadcasted all over the bottom of the fountain. The shininess indeed attracted Chiru's attention, as she shifted her bare feet on the bottom of the fountain, pushing the shiny coins against the bottom of the fountain and against her heels and toes.

Chiru was caught up in her own world for a bit, when she decided to look up at the activity around her. There were all kinds of men and women and children, some near the fountain and some amongst the crowd. Many of the adults kept giving her quick odd glances, while some children outright stared at her. Chiru grinned. Of course they were giving her attention, everybody gave you attention when you were the strongest. Chiru continued messing around in the fountain, choosing to waltz around in the shallow water, the water sloshing against her knees and thighs in resistance as Chiru fought against it, giggling while doing so. Although, something broke her concentration.

It was a great big noise, like a roar or a howl or a 'Wrooaaaaaar~!' or something akin to that. There was a startling synchronicity to the crowd as for a second, there was a moment of anxious yet quiet confusion and shock, even among the children too. Although, out of some sort of recognition, there were many people whom glanced toward the north, where the sound came from. Chiru looked that way as well. Chiru wasn't sure if she recognized the sound as being the same one as the one she heard that one night, mostly because she was falling asleep, but there was no mistaking that such a howl could have been anything but a Behemoth!

"It's a Beam-myth!" Chiru cried out suddenly, "A Bee-muth, I know it is!" Chiru sloshed her way out of the fountain and onto the dry pavement, dust and gravel meeting her wet feet. She broke into a sprint as she darted into the crowd into the direction of the noise, doing her best to dodge people's legs as they walked by. There was no time to waste, as the Behemoth was unmistakably nearby.

"I need to go catch that Behemoth!"

The men inside the tavern had continued on with their conversation, talking about hilarious events of the past. They roared from laughter several times, but it wasn't long before their chatter was interrupted.

"What about it?" One looked over at the man who spoke. He had chin length, black, wavy hair and a chiseled jaw line. His nose was long but his grin was wide with yellowing teeth. "It's simply a howl that's been plaguing our city for who knows how long." The stranger stood up from his seat, talking slow, but sure steps towards the man who questioned the howl. "It howls each day, sometimes several times a day, and it always comes from Sipour." He pointed to the wall of the tavern but also gesturing North to the forest.

Wrapping his burly leg around the leg of a chair next to the man, the stranger sat down, making himself at home in the seat. Leaning forward on the table, he looked at the curious folk around him. "Most people assume it to be a new pack of wolves running around, announcing their victory and a fresh meal." He looked at the man finally, but not before glancing around cautiously. "But I believe it's a Vvolkanlier."

"What a load of rubbish Girsh!" Another man stood up, having a similar, rugged appearance as the ones before him at the same table. "Don't be filling kids heads with lies!"

With a hardy laugh, Girsh turned to his companion,"But is it a lie?! You have yet to prove it is a wolf!"

"And you yet to know if Vvolkanlier's even exist!"

"Bah!" He waved his hand dismissively. "You don't know what you're talking about!"

"And neither do you!" The group laughed, filling the old room with rumbling joy. The one who stood up moved swiftly around his table, patting the man's shoulder as he passed by. "I'll see you later Girsh."

"Yeah, get out of here Clyde." He smiled, attempting to push the man away, but Clyde was already out of reach.

Girsh, after a few moments of starring blankly ahead of him, he turned his head to the one who had originally asked the question. "Don't worry about it kid. It's just a simple nuisance is all." He then stood up and patted the man's shoulder, walking back to his original seat. But as he did so, he started to pass by the Kitsune who entered and ordered her meal. He smiled, and once he was beside her, his hand ran along the fluff of her tail. "Nice tail." He commented, chuckling a bit as he did so.

But before he reached his seat, there was a small commotion outside. The group in the corner looked to the window, seeing people looking up. The group of men, with raised eyebrows, stood up and left the Inn, leaving the remainders of their food behind. There were some soft and some rather loud murmurs of birds or beasts. But eventually, someone shouted, pointing,"It's a girl!"

The people around gasped slightly as the presumed girl flew gently down into the fountain in the square. Once she landed, people fell quiet, watching, glancing cautiously. But this was short lived as one of the guards within the square came towards the fountain,"Hey! Hey! Ma'am! Ma'am with the wings!" He shouted, pointing at the fairy playing in the water. But to his surprise, she started running, booking it down the street. "Ma'am!" He called again, then started running after her.

People gasped, some woman and children even screaming as the chase went on. People moved out of the way and others dodged, being pushed or accidentally tripped as someone moved between their legs and feet. The fairy shouted about a Behemoth of some sort, but the guard only returned with,"Stop!"

Other guards scattered about the streets started to make their way towards the commotion. "Stop her!" One pointed, and with that, two guards ran forward, being ahead of both the young fairy and the original guard. The ran through the crowd until they were in the middle of the street, and when the young girl came, they reached for her. One grabbed her fore arm, the other missing completely. The one that had latched onto her arm glared through his helmet, using his other hand to take hold of her other wrist. "When The Guard says stop you stop!"

The guard giving chase caught up, panting slightly inside his suit. He didn't hesitate to update them on the situation. "She flew into the city from above."

The guard holding her arms looked down at her. "What are you doing?!" He demanded, letting go of one of her arms. "I'll have you know that archers could have shot you right out of the sky for pulling something like that!"

But this too was short lived. Only a short distance away, there was a flurry of commotion. The guards looked down the street, seeing people moving off the streets as a large, horse drawn carriage strolled along the paved stone. No one was subtle with their questions as people asked,"What is it?" and waving their hands around their nose,"It smells!"

It was a blue painted caravan that was exceptionally large. The entire back side was covered in a large, tanned cloth covered in dirt, the frame resembling a large arc. An older gentleman was steering the six horses in front of him, holding the reins with ease. Seven men were walking alongside it, all of them holding proud smiles upon their faces.

The guards with the fairy took a second to watch before turning to her,"Next time you enter the city, come through the gates." The man let go and the three guards made their way to the caravan in a hustled manner.

The caravan came to a stop and the older gentleman looked behind him at the group of men walking besides him. One jogged over to the man and they conversed quietly among themselves. A large crowd began to form around the blue caravan, including a woman and her son. The mother starred at the caravan intently, covering up her nose as she eyed the mud covered men with sticks and leaves in their hair.

While she was looking, the little boy looked at a tied string, attaching the large cloth to the frame of the caravan. He blinked at it curiously. But after a few seconds, he puffed up his chest and rushed over to the reeking cart, taking hold of the string and pulling it to untie it. The first string came undone with ease and the boy quickly went over to the second tied string. This one was tied in a strong knot and the boy fought with it, pulling at it with all of his might. But the mother quickly noticed and cried out "Sam!!" running over to the child and picking him up. But as she did so, the boy gave a final tug, the string coming loose and the cloth began to fall.

In one loud thunderous uproar, the crowd screamed and began to run away.

Chiru was too caught up in her excitement to notice the surroundings around here. What she heard did not matter, except for the Behemoth's cry, of course. The guard that chased her from behind? Well, if he was too slow to catch up the Chiru then he did not matter to her at all. The Behemoth was a great big creature that cared not for slowpokes. The air hit Chiru's face like an autumn breeze and it ran through were wings as if she were soaring through the air, like a hawk. Pebbles stuck to Chiru's wet feet and provided a minor discomfort, but Chiru was used to even rougher terrain on her soles. The crowd moved erratically before her and Chiru had to react quickly to avoid directly bumping into somebody, as if she were playing Tag in the thick woods around the foggy lake, although there were more tripping hazards there than there were in the flat-earthed city. Like the ability of fairies to be able to invoke plants to grow where they thrived, humans and similar such creatures seemed to have the natural ability to make things around them relatively featureless and boring.

So caught up in her excitement was she, that she didn't realize that the two guards ahead of her were after her, or were even guards for that matter. Her perspective was not on people's faces so much as it was their wastes. So, when Chiru tried to dart straight on through them like she did with the rest of the spiraling crowd, she got a nasty surprise when they lunged for her, one managing to gain a vice grip on her arm. All of Chiru's forward momentum was lost with a mere tug and she was pulled back, yelping in surprise. The energy hadn't left her though, so she did her best to resist, grunting as she tried to continue pushing herself forward, trying to out-power the greater man of metal and escape his grip, but his grip did not give and with another tug, he grabbed her other arm, making eye contact very apparent with her.

"When The Guard says stop you stop!" No, when the guard says stop, you run faster so he doesn't catch you. "Let go of me!" Chiru cried out. Why was he doing this? Chiru wasn't a stranger to being handled by a guard like this, but she never felt as if she had ever done anything to deserve such a treatment. Guards were all just a bunch of scary mean adults with metal suits. Of course, they'd all give her a stern scolding in this exact same fashion and if Chiru lived through it all, she would be allowed freedom to do as she wished again. Although, if only this guard knew enough to let her go right then. If only he knew of the absolute importance and urgency of the task at hand. Do Guards ever listen to her though? No!

The guard whom was chasing her from before, whom Chiru had paid absolutely no attention, caught up and told the other two about how she flew into the city. Chiru smirked deviously. Of course she flew into the city! She was just that amazing. The guards didn't seem all that impressed however. "What are you doing?!" He yelled, releasing one of her arms but putting more force onto the other one just as Chiru was about to make another effort to resist. "I'll have you know that archers could have shot you right out of the sky for pulling something like that!" They probably wouldn't have shot a bird out of the sky if one flew in, so why her? Chiru could even count the birds she could see in the sky at that very moment, and she'd have enough fingers to do it too. Chiru pouted, giving no audible response to the guard but a high pitched groan. The Behemoth was getting away and these (please forgive her for thinking so) stupid guards were truly the only things that were stopping her when she was this close to finally catching it. Her frustration wasn't even directed toward not catching the Behemoth, but just the guards.

Yet their attention seemed to turn toward something else, a great big beast making its way down the road! It had a hundred feet and two wheels and smelled of sweaty feet! Okay, it wasn't a big beast, Chiru realized, so the small hope Chiru had of it being the Behemoth she was looking for died out. It was merely a horse-drawn caravan, painted blue which caught her eye (blue was her favorite color) and surrounded by men covered in mud and sticks and leaves. Chiru wondered if those men were playing some sort of mud game like she would with the other fairies during the Spring or during a hot day after a Summer downpour. Many people seemed to be paying attention to the caravan, Chiru as well, so she was caught by surprise when the guard told her; "Next time you enter the city, come through the gates." and let go of her forearm. Chiru gazed at her arm for a second, looking at the paler spot where the guard had been holding her from quickly regain color to retain the same complexion as the rest of her skin. A small distraction, but Chiru looked back up toward the caravan as it had completely caught her attention, even away from the Behemoth. It coincidentally was in the way of where the Behemoth's cry came from. Chiru approached it, skipping behind far behind the guards.

Chiru was met with yet another crowd, this once gather around the caravan and Chiru couldn't see it at all from her short perspective. Slowly, she made her way between people, zigzagging through them in an attempt to get to the front. She picked at her nose as the smell bothered her minorly, but she was more resilient against unpleasant smells than these spoiled creatures were. As she was nearing toward the front, however (though she couldn't really tell) the crowd seemed to quickly get restless all of a sudden, which quickly turned into a collective uproar of terror as people began to pick up their feet and try to run away from the front, pushing their way through the crowd, making it even more difficult for Chiru to reach the front in all the confusion. She just had to see what had been going on. When the thought of the Behemoth entered her head it fueled her determination even more.

Chiru didn't have to put in too much effort anymore, as the crowd quickly dispersed, leaving Chiru alone at the very front. Yet, when she looked up at what was revealed in the caravan, she froze up as she gazed in pure terror at what had been hiding in that caravan (and not like how she did in that overdramatisized sequence at the beginning) unable to bring herself to even run. Chiru would never dare run from anything, but this was different. This was not a giant tortoise she was looking at. Standing dead center in front, she clenched her fists tightly, but her legs were too wobbly and she ended up being unable to support her own weight and fell to her butt.

Did Chiru truly have the power to take on the unknown?

Enel had fallen before she expected to.

When the first hunter flung himself on her back from the trees above, her first instinct had been to struggle and attempt to throw him off. Of course, with her massive form it would have made more sense for her to roll and simply crush the human before the others had a chance to circle around her. The large party of hunters were caked in mud, their scent muffled by the aroma of the forest they had covered themselves with. Though it had been easy to fling the first man from her back that had been enough time for the rest to circle her.

They came with spears and rope, screaming and hollering at her while she roared and howled back at them. They aimed for her legs, trying to force her sturdy six legged stature to the ground while she batted them away with her massive claws and tail. Enel was not a murderer and had no interest in killing the men that she had lived around- she simply thought to scare them and escape into the shadows of the forest with the ease of any massive predator.

The hunters backed her into the tree line and away from her dead deer they had used to lure her out into the open. She was forced back by the spears, all along screaming her howling roar at the men, her thin pupils wild and terrified and angry. From the branch the first hunter had flung himself down from, suddenly a massive weight feel upon her and slammed her frame to the ground, making her let loose a loud cry of pain. A net woven from thin steal and thick rope surround her, the corners being tethered to the ground by the men her before she had time to stand. She struggled agains the weight, trying to get one set of her paws underneath her to lift her muscled form off the ground, but the hunters had managed to tether the trap tightly to the earth around her, binding her so well she was unable to left her tail. She seethed, inhaling deeply through her nostrils and rasping a deep growl out her mouth, sharp fangs gleaming as her tongue lolled out the side. The men stood around her, smiling and grinning and laughing with joy at their catch. The first hunter, the one that had thrown himself upon her, stared into her golden eyes with mirth.

"Got'cha darlin' ", He spoke with a grin, then slammed the butt of his spear against her cranium and all went dark.

When Enel awoke, she knew she was moving. The ground below her swung back and forth, jumping every once and a while, forcing her open jaw to clink together. She had drooled a large puddle underneath, soaking the side of her face and making her fur lay flat with wetness. Her brain felt muddled and cloudy, though she was aware of a pounding pain on the top of her skull that made a growl of discomfort escape her. With the sound of herself her mind suddenly cleared and became aware of the horrendous amount of noise around her, instantly making her ears slam back and her eyes open wide.

Humans- every where- surrounding her in massive quantities with their horrible odor and abrasive loudness. They scream, hollered, cried, whispered, sang, clomped, and chattered with a volume that was caused a deep aggravating anger to well within her. A low purring growl erupted from her as the ground below her forced her still awakening body to thump against the wall. She looked around, suddenly aware that she was trapped within four walls of steal and light brown cloth. The noises of the humans came from all sides of her, meaning only that she was traveling within the walls of a city.

The cage she was trapped within was far to small for her to move. Her body had been forced within the confines at a perfect angle that had forced her six legs under neath her with barely enough room for her to crouch. Her large, thick tail was curled around her, allowing some comfort from the cold thick bars.

Suddenly the cart stopped, the momentum scrunching her face against the cage in front of her. The cries and muffled chattering of the humans outside increased as they began to circle around her position in massive quantities, all of them wondering what was within the apparent covered cage and being overly vocal about their wonderings.

Her long claws dug into the steel below her, all six of her paws tightening with frustration and anger. She had been captured and forced into the human city nearby- probably the very same city she had once sold her fish at when she had been able to turn into her human form. Enels brows furred, drawing her feline eyes into thin slits as she stared at the light brown of the cloth in front of her. She remembered the face of that hunter, his sneering bearded grin, and suddenly wished she had not been so frightened to kill them. Better rip apart a few humans then be stuck in a tiny cage inside their disgusting city for the rest of her life.

A rustling near her left side cause her ears to swivel and her attention to turn to the corner of the cage. The cloth was billowing slightly, being pulled at from on corner and allowing slivers of bright sunlight to filter through. She growled lowly, her chest rumbling and her claws extending-

The tarp fell and allowed the full view of the gathered crowd to reveal itself and she thrust her body upward against the wall of steel, letting loose the loudest screaming howl she could emit. Her spine curled to allow her four front paws to grasp the bars and she scrunched her muzzle against them and revealed her impressive set of fangs to the fleeing crowd. The cart, which sat upon a set of four wooden wheels, rocked to the side as she threw her weight on the walls, trying to force the cage to fall and break apart. She would let loose on this crowd and escape- she did not fear for the death of the humans at the moment.

"Is it really that strange to see a couple of men proud of their work?" One of the men shouted to whomever it was in the crowd that had questioned their parade. But they didn't say anymore more until the sheets fell.

The blood curdling roar that vibrated the air around them forced many of the men to cover their ears, some even falling to their knees. The cart began to shake as the beast inside the cage rammed the sides. The crowds scattered like cockroaches in the sunlight, leaving very few brave souls in the presence of the boiling fury that raged within the streets. The roar echoed along the streets but eventually died out. The group, turning to look at the six-legged beast with terror, quickly gripped their mind and ran up to cage, attempting to steady it.

The guards nearby pushed through the last of the crowd, yelling for those who remained to leave the area. "What is this?!" One of them asked, watching the enraged feline slam about. "Why did you bring it here?!" Another questioned. The group didn't pay any heed, however. They remained focus on keeping all the wheels on the ground. But even the guards at some point managed to gather their wits and rushed over, giving a hand to stable to caravan.

However, the front of the vehicle started to move. The horses that lead the large cage neighed, pulling this way and that in fear as the cart shook back and forth. But in unison, they started to run forward. Th cart started to roll, rolling away from the group surrounding it. "Get the horses!!" Several men cried. A red headed young man flew away from the group, rushing over to the older gentlemen and the horses, grabbing their reins in attempts to keep them still. But once the cart started moving, it wouldn't be stopped, and the horses started to fly. The cart was heavy and bumped loudly along the stone ground, but the horses were strong and ran for their lives down the road, leaving the group of men stumbling in their wake.

While the owners of the caravan ran after it, along with several of the guards, one stopped and pulled off a horn off his belt. And with a deep inhale, he blew into it, letting out a loud, low note.

When the beasts yell rammed into Rose's ears the bread in her mouth was snapped off at the tip. Rose grit her teeth and cover her ears. Man she wished she could shut that thing up. After a few moments she gathered herself and looked around. There were a few people around her, but she had no clue what to do. She saw one of the guards try and steady the raging cart, she ran over and gave a hand. Using all of her might to try and keep it stable, but she was weak so her contribution was hardly noticeable.

She heard the sounds of the horses being spooked and her eyes widened, she felt the cart jerk and her grip was lost. She fell over and stared at the cart as it ran away. Rose grunted as she pushed herself up. She pulled the bow from her back and loaded it with an arrow, which she pulls from the quiver beneath her shirt.. She saw how far away it was getting. She loaded the arrow and pulled back. She narrowed her eyes, but there was to much going on. She could not make the shot. With arrow and bow in hand she looked at the group around her.

Rose shook her head, no way was she about to lose her town money to these suckers. She needed it WAY more. She started running after the beast in the cart, hoping to subdue it alone and get the money. She was running at a very slow pace, so pretty much anyone could catch up to her. She was tired, hungry, and hot. Why couldnt this have happened on a cold day? She groaned as she huffed along after the cart.

Chiru gazed at the creature in shock. It was a great big bear, no tiger, no lion, Chiru couldn't completely identify it at the moment, but it had an awful lot of legs. They were difficult to count because they were moving, not to mention Chiru was busy whimpering, but it certainly had more than an ordinary beast. Its howl was utmost unpleasant, yet while it was a familiar howl, it didn't sound like that of Chiru's hazy memory of a Behemoth.

"Don't eat me!" Chiru cried in panic, bringing her hands out in front of her. Although, a slow realization came to her that the beast wasn't and in fact couldn't. It was within a cage of some sort, but why it couldn't break out, Chiru didn't really know. Was metal really that strong? Was it stronger than the beast? It certainly wasn't heavier as the cage rocked, causing the caravan to rock as well. The dirty men and the guards were gathered around the caravan for reasons Chiru wasn't paying attention to. She gazed at the trapped beast, clearly upset with its position. Chiru stood up and took a few cautious steps toward it, slow and wobbly. She stopped about three feet away and was unsure of when a moment might come where the metal snapped under the beasts strength, but the thought that metal was invincible reassured Chiru slightly. There were men trying to keep the cage steady as well, so somehow, they were stopping the beast.

"......A-Ah-..." the words were stuck in the fairy's throat, "...Are you a Be-" she was cut off, however, when the caravan suddenly began to move forward which caused Chiru's chest to jump and she tensed up. Yet, somehow, her reaction was swifter than those of the men and she somehow instinctively darted forward, despite what objections she had about getting close to the thing. Somehow, her motivation prevailed, as it often did, and that motivation was to capture this captured beast. It may have been a Behemoth, it may have not been, but Chiru wasn't going to take that chance. She had come too far to sit down when it was running away from her. Her biggest motivation, however, was that of all people, she was not going to let the guards have it.

The cart was picking up momentum and soon, it would outrun Chiru, and if she lost it here, she'd have no chance of getting it back, especially since the guards wouldn't allow her to fly within the city. Only one thing made sense in Chiru's mind, that there was no way she was going to catch it on her own feet. As she fell six feet behind it, she began to speed up with whatever strength was left in her feet left to muster while folding her wings to lose resistance, gaining about two feet. Her wings then began to flutter as Chiru took a great big jump forward, darting her in the direction of the caravan. With her wings taking her the rest of the distance, she through her body directly into the caravan, crashing into the cage, though she could hardly shake it with the beast's weight holding it down.

And speaking of the beast, Chiru entirely forgot about the great big beast sitting in the caravan when she flung herself inside. When Chiru had recovered from her lunge, sitting up, she saw herself face to face with the beast. Chiru was so startled, she almost jumped right back out. The cage took up so much space within the caravan that it was difficult to move around outside it, so Chiru was very close between touching the cage and falling right back out. By some sort of instinct, Chiru the spots where Chiru's hands touched the bars instantly began to become covered in small crystals of ice which filled up a few gaps between the bars, but hardly anything that would make as an effective wall.

Chiru quickly scuttled to the very left corner of the caravan, trying to distance herself from the monster's face. There was also very little space between the clothing walls of the caravan and the metal of the cage, but she figured she could squeeze in between them if she wished to make it to the front, where she could see the horses galloping widely. Of course, her body would be right up against the cage and Chiru did not want to risk the claws, not that she wasn't already touching the caravan. It may have been safer than sitting at the very edge where any sudden bump could have popped her right out. Chiru stood and tucked herself into the tiny gap, her body pressing up against the gap. If the monster made a lunge at her, she'd freeze its fingers off, although she probably couldn't react fast enough to do so, but believing that she could was comforting enough. Chiru's courage was slowly returning to her to help her fight against the fear of the monster right next to her when she had little room to move.

"M-Mr. Monster," she said, stuttering between words out of both nervousness and the unstable bumping the caravan made against the ground, "D-don't eat me please, please, please? Daisy says fairies aren't tasty to monsters, a-and you don't want to ruin your apple-tight, do you? Right?" Chiru's fingers were splayed against the cage, but Chiru hoped the monster wouldn't find them tasty treats to pick off. She tried inching to the right while her own speech comforted her, but she could hardly move with how little space she had, not to mention her legs were still wobbly out of both her fear and the jumping of the caravan.

"M-Mr. Monster," she asked, "Are you a-a Bee-myth?"

Enel continued to throw herself against the cage as the humans tried to settle the horses and stop the caravan from tipping. She realized that with her strength, she could possible force the cage to topple the whole wheeled cart over and hopefully allow herself to break the bars of the door on the back. Though her long claws allowed her little dexterity, she was able to grasp the thick bars with her paws and shove, letting loose a screaming howl at the same time.

Outside, the streets were chaos as some tried to steady the cage while others ran to escape. Enel paid them little attention, her mind and body focused on tipping the cart. Just as she threw her full weight against the cart and tipped the wheels on the side, the cart suspended for a moment on two wheels, the horses (whom she had forgotten all about) let loose a shrill scream and jolted the cart forward as the began to canter away. Truthfully, the whole situation would be funny to her if she was not the one stuck in the cart; the horses were pulling the beast they were trying to get away from behind them in there mindless run.

The men fell away as they were left in the dust of the run away caravan. Enel fell to the floor of the cart while it jumped over the unstable street- the uncontrolled gallop of the horses causing it to fly back and forth along the street. Enel dug her claws in the floor, holding herself still and hoping the horses tired out. She looked out the back of the cage at the crowd in the distance and the few stragglers running after her but she had little hope they were actually going to catch up. One of the men stopped and let loose a high, keening note form his hunting horn, forcing Enel's ears to lay flat at the tone and alerting those ahead of the rampage on the way.

Suddenly, a burst of something entered the caravan and slammed against the bars, enlisting a squeaking growl of surprise from the large beast. Enel stared with wide eyes at the small winged creature as it stood with wide eyes and scrambled away from her, tucking herself safely behind the bars, though not entirely out of reach. The cart gave a loud bump, jolting Enel to the side and forcing her to dig her claws in deeper. She kept her concentration on the intruder, narrowing her eyes as she looked over the blue haired girls smaller stature and dirty clothes. Enel was most interested in her wings, the glittering ice captivating her feline attention for a moment despite the predicament.

Another jolt that threw Enel against the walls brought her back to the situation at hand, a deep rubbling growl filling the caravan as she glared untrustingly at the fairy.

"M-Mr. Monster," The little thing sputtered out as she grasped the bars to steady herself. Enel looked at her small hands, an image of ripping them from her equally small arms slushing through her mind, "D-don't eat me please, please, please? Daisy says fairies aren't tasty to monsters, a-and you don't want to ruin your apple-tight, do you? Right?" Wrong.

Though Enel was not interested in any way in eating humans- or human looking creatures- she did have beast like urge to use this ones bones as tooth pikes. She wouldn't, though just on the principles of the Raksha; humans should never be harmed while in the feral form- the beast is for protection, not aggression. She imagined none of the Raksha that wrote their species laws were ever in her current predicament, so maybe she would be allowed a pass.

In reply, Enel gurgled out a keening hiss and barred her fangs, though he remained were she was, all six pairs of claws dug into the floor with hackles raised.

"M-Mr. Monster," she continued on, "Are you a-a Bee-myth?"

A what? Bee-myth? As a human, Enel would have rolled her eyes and flicked the pip-squeak in the forehead. Instead, the massive Hexenus lounged at the girl, allowing the momentum of the jumping cart to shove her body against the bars on the little fairies side of the cage. Though the girl may be able to move far enough away from Enels reach through the bars, she hopped the sudden action would at least scare the thing into halting her ridiculous questions. Enel had enough to worry about- like escaping this thing before it crashes- and the fairy was doing no good asking her ridiculous questions in the middle of this mess.
