Alissa SilverFang

Outskirts of Eastmoor

It's a Beautiful Summer day with a Nice gentle Breeze carrying the Smell of Flowers through Eastmoor. Not to hot, Not to cold, Just Perfect.

Alissa was in front of her Fathers grave."I'll be sure to live a good long life...Where ever you are Dad." Alissa Rose from the Ground with a Tear sliding down her face. "For you Dad I promise I'll have a good life." She started walking away from the Grave Stone that had a Tree growing behind it. She wiped the tear from her face as she walked through the Grassy pasture her mind blank and her Swords on her back.
When she reached the center of the Town of Eastmoor some of the Adult Villagers whispered as she passed. When she passed them it seemed as if it was a little gloomier. "Alissa" The voice caught her attention. "Would You like a Apple? The voice was from a Small child Holding out a Apple. The little girl no older than 8ight held the Apple out asking if she wanted it.
Allissa Smiled for the kid and simply said "No thank you...But if you could when you finish the Apple, give me one of the seeds. I would appreciate it. " The little girl nodded sweetly withdrawing the Apple yelling "Byyyye" As she returned to her Mother who was standing there watching and Smiling brightly at Alissa.

Alissa hardly noticed as her Smile faded and she returned to her Walk through town. Her brain began functioning again. "There's nothing for me here anymore...Dads...Gone... And he did always want me to follow my passions and Dreams."Alissa chuckled slightly remembering a time when she Approached her Dad telling him she wanted to Travel and Adventure and Destroy Monsters. Alissa let out a sigh and realized she still wanted to do Exactly that. Alissa started Imagining herself Standing on top of Massive beasts and Creatures, and in the background a flat land with a Beautiful House for her to return to sometimes.
Before Alissa knew it she was standing on the Towns edge again facing a Road that divided into 3hree different Paths. It was still only morning but was arising to Lunch time. She had Killed an Hour walking around town subconsciously.
"It is the Perfect day to start Exploring...And I've already said my goodbyes to Dad" Alissa Quickly checked that she had her Swords and Metal water Container she created that was filled half way. "I've got everything I own too." She sighed "If im doing this it's happening now!" She forced her legs to move and Walk over the Line that she had never crossed onto the path Far Left.

"This is it...Finally making my dreams reality." Alissa Almost sobbed walking down the path without hesitation and Her senses heightened and was paying more attention than usual ready to move quickly if she was attacked.

Before Alissa knew it, It was looking like 5:00-5:27 and was In a forest off the road with no path in sight. She had no idea where she was How she got there, Just came back into reality to find she was in a forest walking.
"Great...JUST WONDERFUL!!!" Alissa yelled into the Forest gaining more detail on the environment. Like she wasn't just here she Saw a thin layer of snow on the Ground in front of her. Quickly in shock Alissa Spun around to look behind her and See the snow was only deeper behind her and Light footprints that belonged to her Shoe Styled boot lay gently on the top of it and no deeper.

Alissa was wearing Jogging pants, Hiking boots, A long sleeve with the Sleeves rolled up, and Soft black Socks. "Well I wont be to cold for a While" Alissa Ventured on for that seemed like her only option as she was so quick to Judge. "I haven't eaten at all today... And yet im not hungry?" She was slightly confused when she Noticed a Wolf Den. Her eyes seemed to roll out of her Head as she ran like Wind away from there and Deeper into the Forest. "Great...Now im deeper in the Forest and the Temperature seems to have dropped. I guess it's time to Set up a Base camp anyway." Alissa wasted no Time clearing off a Area so that little snow remained, Collecting dry wood, Sticks, and Branches From the Entrance of a Dark cave that looked deep and was right Beside where she set up camp for Protection from the Winds. She dropped the Wood down into sort of a Fire pit. Alissa Drew Her right handed Short sword off her back Skinning off thin Pieces of Wood like Paper putting them Under the middle in a Group keeping one In her hand. She holstered her Blade again and Drew a pack of matches igniting one and lighting the Paper in her hand on fire. She quickly put it in the Pile not wanting to catch herself on fire.

Alissa looked at the Sky once more to see clear skies and a Moon approaching. "5:46 Maybe? Who am I kidding I don't even Know where I am." Alissa Frowned Pulling a Assortment of dried Wolf Pelts she collected over her Legs as she sat Peacefully close to her Well crafted medium sized fire."It's Not great but I think I did pretty good" Alissa was Pleased with her Fire and just started Staring into it.

Vanisailon was born nineteen years ago to the Abrazimir family, one of the wealthiest Rínandil families that resided in Naira. Vanisailon had a wonderful childhood, as did most of the Rínandil children. He had only the best education, taking and mastering the subjects of reading, writing, music, language, survival, politics, archery, and warfare. His parents were ever so proud of their only child, expecting him to one day grow up to begin helping his father with the running of Naira. As Vanisailon Abrazimir reached his teenage years he began to venture father and farther away from the city of Naira, much to his parents displeasure. It was dangerous they said. You should want to stay in the city. The Alarcans could be out there, waiting to kill you, they said. Vanisailon did not understand why they hated and feared the Alarcans so much. Any time the subject was brought up to his parents they would always manage to change the subject. Vanisailon went through his life in motions, or so it seemed to him.

As he'd grown up, his appearance had always attracted odd stares and most children preferred to stay away from him. Instead of having the silvery to golden blonde hair of his people his was snow white. His eyes were a pale gold instead of the light blue or green than many had. Vanisailon was also more on the shorter side for a Rínandil, standing only at 5'5 he was shorter than everyone in his city. Vanisailon had tried to not let these things trouble him. So what if he was different? Why should that mean anything, after all he was a pure blooded Rínandil. Really, the only feature that he truly shared with his kinfolk was the fact that he kept his hair quite long.

Vanisailon soon reached the age of seventeen and upon reaching the age of adulthood took an apprenticeship with a local political group that worked closely with his father. The young Rínandil thought he was missing something in his life. Is this what he really wanted to do? Yes, it was expected of him but his heart was not in it. Vanisailon preferred the wilds to the city. He loved the wide openness of the world. He became more and more restless as the weeks passed. Late one night, a month after starting his apprenticeship, Vanisailon awoke with a start. He'd had a dream, a dream that he was living in the wilds and he'd been so very happy. He'd thought for a moment, wondering if this was a sign from Vanyanio. It it was, Vanisailon could not ignore it. He'd quickly gotten up, changed into his hunting garb. A mix of white and grey thick fabrics made his tunic and pants. He then adorned his deep grey boots and a pure white cloak that had a hood and matching face mask that cover up to right beneath his pale eyes. Lastly, of his clothing, he slid on his fingerless grey gloves. Vani then proceeded to place his beautifully handcrafted bow and quiver of arrows upon his back. The bow was made of the finest of woods and was intricately designed as was the matching quiver. His arrows had dyed golden feathering. Quickly and silently, Vani made his way downstairs of his home and gathered some lasting food and a water container. He knew that his parents would come looking for him. Unless...but could he do it? He quickly went to the kitchen drawer that kept all of their utensils and small dagger like knives. Vani quickly had picked the most beautiful of the daggers. He went to kneel upon the threshold, the doorway that would lead him to freedom. He quickly had pulled down his hood and face mask, making sure that all of his long hair was out. He then proceed to jaggedly cut his long hair, allowing the long strands to fall upon the ground. A easy sign to understand to an Rínandil. A sign that said, 'I'm leaving my name. Do not look for me, I've separated myself from you.' Vani then placed the dagger into his belt, he didn't know when he may need it again. Pulling his hood and face mask back on, he opened the door and walked out, silently closing the door behind him and effectively starting his new life.

Vanisailon had been living at the base of the Karhana Mountain for two years now. He'd become a master at keeping hidden in the snowy land. He was not seen unless he wished it. Over the two years that he'd been living at the Mountain base, Vani's clothing had become a bit worn, especially his cloak, the edges that would drag more on the ground was a bit darker than the rest of the cloak and was tattered a bit in the darker spots. His white hair had grown out a bit, instead of being almost completely against his head it was generally kept the longest locks a bit lower than his earlobes. He spent his days hunting and just plain out surviving. He was so happy now. He didn't have to worry about anything and this was how Vani liked it.

Fully armed, Vani pulled his hood and face mask on. He need to gather at least one deer to be able to survive for the next couple of days. He'd been putting off going hunting and he'd almost waited too long. He quietly made his was through the woods until he came to one of the giant trees. Quickly, he made his way up the tree to wait for deer to pass by. He sat on a large branch and was invisible to the untrained eye. Vani was up in the tree for what seemed like forever, his bow and one arrow resting in his hands. He did not seem to feel the cold anymore. No..that had vanished a long time ago. Suddenly, he heard someone yell, "Great...JUST WONDERFUL!!!" The Rínandil froze. He had yet to meet anyone in the forest, yet there seemed to be someone there now. He debated on whether or not to investigate. The being wouldn't see him, not unless they were a hunter or tracker. He decided to wait. His trained ears picked up the sound of someone running as if their life was in danger, yet he remained seated and they ran past his tree in a blur. He waited until they'd gotten a good distance away before jumping from the tree and following.

Vani quietly following as closely as he dared. He quickly hid behind a tree as the...being began setting up a campsite. Vanisailon was sure that the being was a female. She didn't seem to have anything protecting her head or face. Strange. Thought Vani. He continued to watch as the girl finally stopped working and covered her legs with furs. He quietly moved closer, staying behind the trees that surrounded the area. As he reached earshot he heard her say, "It's Not great but I think I did pretty good" He decided that this girl was definitely an Alarcan. He wasn't sure if she was perhaps a scout? Trying to find his people. He could not stand by and not know. Quckly, he moved before the girl, his bow and arrow pointed quite close to her face. He kept his pale golden eyes stern. "Tell me, Alarcan, what are you doing in Rínandil territory?" he said, staring the girl down. He'd never come this close to a Alarcan before and he wasn't sure what to think. He was trying to protect his kin and if that meant a confrontation with the supposed enemy, then so be it. Vani decided to try to fool the girl into believing that he did not care for her kind, perhaps she would just leave and he wouldn't have to worry about it anymore? "Speak quickly, I have little patience." he said, pulling the arrow a bit more taut upon the bow string.

Alissa Jumped and Her back became straight and her Posture perfect as the Arrows aim was unintentional now at her Collar Bone.
"Tell me, Alarcan, what are you doing in Rínandil territory?" "Rínandil territory?" Alissa thought out loud. She had heard little about the Rínandil in her time back home but was aware they were who her people were fighting."I....Uh...I." Alissa's throat felt Dry, Her stomach twisted in Knots, and her mind emptied all other thoughts.
"Speak quickly, I have little patience." "I didn't know I was in Rínandil Territory, I was just traveling away from my old home when I was attacked by some Raiders and Thieves. I couldn't fight them all so I fled off the path and into the forest that led me here." Alissa lied, she didn't even know how she got here so lying was all she could do. And her eyes jolted up this figures body to see his face, it was Masked.

Alissa's heart is racing and all she could think about is whether or not to Draw her Short swords. "If I draw them now, Maybe I can knock him back into the Fire. Thats not much of an option though seeing as how he's got a Bow loaded and Pointed at me. If I were to move my hands fast he'd probably Shoot me before I can stand up and Kick him into the Fire." Alissa decided it was better for her to play nice so she relaxed her posture slightly showing she meant no Harm.

Vanisailon stared the girl down for a few long moments. The girl didn't seem to know where she was, and this threw him off a bit. How could an Alarcan not know when they had crossed out of their own territory? He did not understand at all. He'd seen how quickly she'd pulled back when she had realized that there was a weapon near her. Her reflexes were better than many he'd mock fought back home. Vani had to admit to himself that he was impressed. He briefly wondered if the girl had any sort of weaponry training. Bringing himself out of this line of thought, the short Rínandil listened intently as the girl spoke to him, never lowering his weapon from her collar bone. "I didn't know I was in Rínandil Territory, I was just traveling away from my old home when I was attacked by some Raiders and Thieves. I couldn't fight them all so I fled off the path and into the forest that led me here." He remained silent, keeping the arrow quite close to the girl. He wondered if she was telling the truth. If she was, he was being most ungentlemanly towards the girl that was still at the end of his arrow.

Suddenly, Vanisailon noticed that the girl relaxed. A sign that she meant him no harm. Should he trust her? Perhaps not, but Vanisailon had always tried to give everyone a chance and why not this Alarcan? The young hunter slowly relaxed his deadly arrow and replaced it into his quiver. He decided it best to at least keep his bow out. He slowly took a step back from the girl, so as to give her some space. He'd probably frightened her quite badly. "Forgive me, My Lady. One can not be too careful." ,he said, eyeing the girl in front of him. She looked to be barely shorter than himself, not that he was surprised. Most were generally taller than Vani. Only an Alarcan would be shorter.

Vani debated within himself for a few moments before removing his hood and mask, allowing the girl to see him. He was sure that he would look strange to her, as he did to everyone that met him. He gave her a bow and said, "I am Vanisailon. I reside in these woods." He made sure not to mention a last name. He had, after all left it behind when he'd came to live at the base of the Mountain. He arose from his bow. He hoped the girl would not be angry with him for putting his arrow into her face. He'd not wanted to take any chances if she'd meant harm.

"There's no need to ask for Forgiveness, you wanted to be careful and you've done just that." Alissa was being sympathetic.
She stood up off the Ground with a Smile and slightly bent her knees and slightly lifted a Imaginary dress. She finished and Said "I'm Alissa SilverFang, It's a Pleasure to meet you Vanisailon." She spoke Clearly and Gracefully as the Knots in her Stomach and Throat Nullified, making her Feel Fine again.
Alissa made note that he was being calm and Polite to her. "S-so Why do you live out here?" Alissa Asked interested in his Reasons for Living out here. "Wow...He's Handsome, Polite, and the first Rínandil I've met yet" She thought in her head examining him."He's only a bit bigger than me, I bet he's well built, And he has White hair. Hmmmm" Thoughts continued flowing in her head as Vanisailon's eyes Reflected the Fires light making his eyes seem like Gold. "Gold eyes?" Alissa was impressed with him and his Behavior, even though she was Alarcanian he seemed not to care.

Alissa was Eager to hear why he Lives out here and Could had seemed she leaned into it listening for a Answer.

Vanisailon smiled gently at Alissa. She had such a beautiful name. She was quite pretty as well, the young man thought. "I live here because I received a sign from Vanyanio, our god. I left and denounced my family name. I never looked back." , he said. He was sure that his voice sounded a bit sad. He did, after all, miss his family terribly. He couldn't go back. No, his father would try and force into politics once more. He would have none of it. He only wanted a simple life, living off of the land. He was happy this way. He wondered why this..Alissa was by herself. Shouldn't she have a traveling companion of some sort? Vani wasn't sure about her peoples ways and thought perhaps this was normal.

"Why do you travel alone? It is forbidden by my people for our women to journey the dangerous lands by themselves." he said, pale eyes fixed upon Alissa's. He was intrigued by this. He'd never done much studying of the Alarcan race. He'd never seen a reason to. Now that he was face to face with one, he wasn't quite sure why their people hated each other so. "Have you eaten? I was actually in the middle of hunting when I came across you. I would be glad if you would join me? I have enough for the both of us back at my camp." he said, wondering what Alissa would say. She'd probably think him crazy for asking her such a thing. They were born enemies and why in the world would she trust him?

"I live here because I received a sign from Vanyanio, our god. I left and denounced my family name. I never looked back." Alissa Kept her Eyes fixed on Vanisailon as he continued "Why do you travel alone? It is forbidden by my people for our women to journey the dangerous lands by themselves." This brought a smile to her face to hear someone Underestimate her and ask about her reason for traveling alone. "Have you eaten? I was actually in the middle of hunting when I came across you. I would be glad if you would join me. I have enough for the both of us back at my camp." "I...Uh.." Alissa was a little shocked to hear the supposed enemy invite her to his Camp for a Snack. "I'd Be more than happy to"
She said this as her Brain screamed for her to say NO. "Well it's to late to say no now. And If he Meant to kill me then he would had done it when he had the chance."
This thought Calmed her mind and made her feel more secure around Him."And as for your other Question, I travel alone because there was no one ells to travel with" Alissa Shrugged."I'm not Hu-"
Alissa was cut of by a growl from her stomach.

Vani watched the girl intently. He'd obviously done something that she'd not been expecting. He gently placed his bow upon his back, hoping that perhaps that would calm her a bit. "I'd... Be more than happy to" , Alissa said. Vani smiled then at her. He'd not expected her to accept. It was refreshing to him, to be actually speaking with someone who wasn't automatically looking down upon him because he was different than those of his race. "I'm not Hu-" , the girl started but quickly stopped. Vani eyed her for a moment, wondering what was wrong. "What is wrong? You do not wish for my aid as I am a Rínandil? I fear, that if you plan on staying here, you will not last long. The temperature drops as it get closer to nightfall. You would freeze. My camp would do you better." he said, watching Alissa. "If you do not wish for my help..I understand." The short Rínandil bowed to the girl near him. He would not force her to come with him. It would actually be better if he left her where she was. She was the enemy, after all. Vani turned from the girl, and slowly began to walk away. He wondered if she would follow him.

Alissa looked to the ground and as Vani got a few more feet away she jogged up beside him. "It's not that I don't want your help... I just surprised myself " Alissa Said this In a Mutter but followed Vani None the less. "Do all of your people Wear Masks?" Alissa Curiously asked Forgetting about what had just happened."Or is it just you?" Alissa Grinned at Vani and then returned her view to the Snow covered Ground in front of her.

A Flesh ripping Howl cuts through the Air to Alissa's Ears. When Alissa Heard the Howl Her Skin Crawled and Her Spine felt like it moved Back up through her Body into a Curl. She Remained walking beside Vani without Making any odd Movements, With her heart racing and blood pumping she was Excited. Yes Excited not Scared But Excited, If they needed to fight something then it would be a Thrill and Possibly even...Fun. It would be her First real fight since her Fathers Death, and could easily show Vani that she had Fighting talent. "Wait...Am I Excited to...Whatever! Either way It'll give me an Idea of His Fighting Skills. And im not even sure if we're going to encounter this thing." Alissa Thought to herself.

Vani walked through the deepening snow. He didn't stop as he heard Alissa speak. "It's not that I don't want your help... I just surprised myself " He kept his face blank even though he felt the sudden urge to smile at the girl that was now at his side. They traveled for a bit before the girl spoke again to him. "Do all of your people Wear Masks? Or is it just you?" At this, he did smile at Alissa. "I doubt that many other than myself wear a mask. I've found that it helps me to blend into the forests. There are few of my people who would choose this life. Even though we live upon the mountains, we generally stay within our cities." he said, staying close to Alissa. He did not want her to stray too far from him. It would be easy for her to become lost and if Vani could not get to her quick enough, well, Vani wished not think of that.

Suddenly, a fierce howl echoed through the woods. Vani stiffened slightly as the noise put him on edge. The giant wolves of the mountains generally left Rínandil alone. Alissa was a Alarcan, though, and received no such protection. He wondered if she knew how to fight. He thought that perhaps she did, seeing as how she was originally traveling alone. He spoke, "Stay close. The Langoril, or giant wolves in the common tongue, are near." He pulled his bow from his back and notched an arrow. After what had seemed like hours but what had really only had been 10 minutes, a giant Langoril appeared before them, standing upon a large snow covered ledge. The giant beast was taller than Vani and was completely white. His blue eyes stared at the two beings before him. The wolf waited, quite calm, as if trying to decide if he should attack the girl. Suddenly, the giant threw his head up and released a magnificent howl. Vani knew then that there would be more on the way. The giant suddenly lept off of the ledge, running straight for the girl. Vani was about to take down the giant just as another Langoril attacked from behind. He quickly turned to the new wolf, launching an arrow straight into the beast's eye, killing it immediately. He quickly turned to see that they were being surrounded. Langoril formed a loose circle around them. They seemed to be waiting for their leader to take the girl. Vani quickly notched another arrow, aiming for the beast that was still headed for Alissa.

Alissa Smirked and Drew the Short swords Off her Back and down to her Sides as she Waited for The Langoril to draw Closer. "Watch yourself Vanisailon, I can Handle myself Against Huge Wolves."Alissa was quite impressed by this Beast, It was a giant Wolf Just as it's Name Proclaimed But she Had never seen Anything as Magnificent. Then She thought of a fun Idea. "If your so Familiar with these Langoril" Alissa Paused as She leaped Out of the Way, just Barley being Scratched by the Creature. The pain to Alissa was nothing more Than Falling off a Bike, When The Langoril Turned back to her After Missing her With a Claw Alissa began to continue. "Have you ever tried to Ride one?" She joked as she Started Running at It.
Alissa Drew up her Swords as she closed the Distance between her and the Beast. Alissa Jumped Away to be on it's Left Side, Swinging Directly at it with both Swords from the Right, It Tried to move out of the Way but it's Big body Couldn't Escape her Blades that Dug into it's Neck with a Soft howl of Escaping air. The Langoril Fell to the Ground While Her hands Stayed on the Hilts of The Swords in the Creature in front of her. "I did it...I really did it, I killed the First Beast on my Adventure when I was Headed to Go have a Snack with a Rínandil. Best way EVER....To Start an Adventure for myself!" Alissa Thought Happily when she Pulled the Blades out of her Opponent like she was Cutting Butter but cut the wrong portion size.

"Seriously though. I think it would be Fun and a Great Advantage to Ride these a Combat Situation." Alissa's Smirk Remained as She awaited Another one out of the Pack of Langoril to make a move. "You are Quite the Marksman Now aren't you Vanisailon" She thought After Noticing the Dead meat on the ground and His Bow and Arrow Drawn facing where her Kill dyed.
"Vanisailon! Get your head Back into Reality! I've Told you Once, I can Handle Myself...Unless They all attack me But that's besides the point" Her Happy Thoughts Dissipated and She got Serious again.

Vani was impressed with Alissa. She'd seemed to not needed his help at all. He was glad. "Seriously though. I think it would be Fun and a Great Advantage to Ride these a Combat Situation." Alissa said. "I wonder if they would allow it. They are quite noble..they were tamed by the Rínandil as protectors of our lands. Once the Alarcans stopped trying to invade, we released them back into the wilds. I fear it is you that they are after." he said to the girl. He kept his bow at the ready, eyeing the four creatures that still surrounded them. "You are Quite the Marksman Now aren't you Vanisailon", the girl spoke to him again. "I've had plenty of time to perfect my skill. I've used a bow since I was quite young. I should hope that I'm fairly good at it." he said, still staring at the creatures. Vani had only been attacked twice before by the Langoril. When he'd first come into the woods they'd not realized what he was and had attacked. A large female wolf had put a stop to the attack that day. She'd seemed to realize that the boy was of their people. They'd left shortly after that. The only other time that Vani had had to fight these creatures was when food had become a bit more scarce. They'd been starving and had not cared where they got their food. The same she wolf stopped the pack once more. She'd been different from the rest of the Langoril. Every wolf that lived in the snowy mountains were white or light grey, save for the female that had saved him. She'd been nearly dark as night with red eyes. She'd almost seemed to have more authority than the pack leader each time he'd seen her. It had been nearly a year since the last he'd seen her.

Vani came back to the present. He was sure to be a target now that he'd killed one of the wolves. Suddenly two wolves came at him, running as fast as they could. The young Rínandil stood ready. His face was hard and determined. He did not wish to kill the Langoril but if they pursued the two humans he would. Time almost seemed to slow down for Vani. One of the wolves was suddenly quite close to him. He pulled the arrow more taut, if at all possible, ready to let it fly. Suddenly, a large black wolf took down the wolf closest to the boy. Vani froze. It was her. He relaxed his arms, allowing the arrow to become lax on the string. The mighty she wolf seemed to take control of the situation, almost scolding the others that were left. The three wolves that were still on their feet back away a bit. The wolf that was on the ground that had been about to get an arrow in the face got up as quickly as she could and retreated as well. Red eyes focused on Vani. She approached the boy slowly and stopped with her snout almost touching the human's forehead. The beast regarded him for a few long moments. To an outsider, they would appear old friends. Why else would a wolf not attack someone? Vani made a motion at Alissa, telling her plainly that this wolf meant them no harm.

Alissa Sheathed her Short Swords Again cautiously walking over towards Vani but remained easily about Eight Feet away from Him and The Black Pelted Langoril. Although Alissa was EXTREMELY Perplexed by the Situation she attempted to keep her face Blank. To no Avail did she hide her Confusion from the world. Her head was Slightly off center Like the Earths Axis but only So slightly tilted that a few Great Eyes could Catch it. Her facial Expression Was a Grin that could be taken as the look of these two Beings face to face in such a Wintery atmosphere. It was really just a Mask, a Mask to hide her Confusion to the Sight she didn't understand but still the Image Remained Elegant.

Alissa Though sat in Silence Unaware and Incapable to and How to respond.
"Are you...Friends?" The thought was Attempted to be Spoken with no Success. She was Mouthing the Words but there was no Sound from her Mouth. Alissa Discouraged and Unaware how to react to the Scene Closed her Mouth and Stood ready to be Briefed on this.

Vani stood quite relaxed considering the situation. He could not imagine that many in his same position would have remained so calm. He felt better knowing that he would not have to kill any more of the Langoril. The great beast before him suddenly turned to Alissa, regarding her. Vani could see that the black wolf was confused as to why the Alarcan was with the boy. She released a great howl, as if telling her pact to leave. The other beasts turned and left the three beings. The dark Langoril's mate had been killed by the girl. "This Langoril and I have met before." Vani said, moving to stand with Alissa. "When I first came to live here. She is different." The large beast stared at the human girl. "Thank you, my friend. I am glad to not shed any more of your great kind's blood." The black wolf slowly bowed slightly, almost unnoticeable, to Vani. She turned and took off after her pack. Vani gently placed a hand upon Alissa's shoulder. "You are all right? They did not hurt you?" he asked her, concern written upon his handsome face. It had been a close call. Being that out numbered, there was a high possibility that they wouldn't have made it out alive.

Vani looked up into the sky. Though the tree blocked most of the sky, snow was falling again. Vani could see that it was beginning to darken. "Come. My camp is not too far from here. We need to reach it before nightfall or you shall freeze." He took off again. He led the way through an unseen trail. He wound around trees in no particular order and he was sure that Alissa most likely assumed the worse now. There would be no way for her to find her way back out without his help. Soon, Vani found himself entering the campsite. He'd based his home out of a large cave and the surrounding area. A medium sized firepit was place near the entrance of the cave. There was a small clearing near the cave that had a few places to sit and another firepit. Inside the cave, a single bedroll. Vanisailon kept two large trunks inside the cave that was kept lock at all times. He quickly went to the firepit at the cave and began to start a fir for them. He was sure that Alissa was frozen by now. There was no way that she was used to such elements. After about two minutes, the fire roared to life. "Come. Warm yourself. I shall fix us something to eat." he said softly. He made his way to one of the trunks, unlocked it, pulled out some meat, and locked it once more. He went to the pic that was away from the cave and started a fire there. He placed the meat upon some thick sticks that he usually cooked his food upon. It would take a bit for the food to cook through. He sat near the fire to watch the food. He couldn't help but wonder what the girl was thinking. No doubt she either thought that he was crazy or they were just plain lucky that they'd not been killed.

The Langoril before Vani suddenly turned to Alissa, regarding her. Alissa's Face fell Completely Blank as she Starred into the Beasts Blood Red Eyes. It Seemed Be to out of No where for Alissa But the Creature released a great howl and before Alissa knew it all The other beasts were gone. "This Langoril and I have met before." Vani said, moving to stand Beside Alissa. "When I first came to live here. She is different." The large beast starred Back at Alissa "Thank you, my friend. I am glad to not shed any more of your great kind's blood." The black wolf Barley moved and took off into a Sprint .Vani gently placed a hand upon Alissa's shoulder. "You are all right? They did not hurt you?" he asked with concern written upon his handsome face. Alissa Only Stepped Forward Nudging his Hand off with the Pull of Gravity.
Vani looked up into the sky snow was falling again. "Come. My camp is not too far from here. We need to reach it before nightfall or you shall freeze."

Alissa Silently Followed Vani Everywhere and Instead of siting down in the Cave next to the Fire she walked over to where the Food was Cooking and Just starred into the Fire. Chills Shot down her Spine on Occasion and Through all that She had Forgotten Her shirt Had Sleeves. Alissa Without hesitation looked back down at her arms to see the Cut on her Arm was no bigger than a Tooth pick and as deep as a cup of water once you finish Drinking from it and the water That remains slides back down to the bottom. Her cut Stung for a Moment as She fiddled and Had the Fires heat Warm her Crispy Sleeves so she could Slide them back down her Arms."I...." She started after Some time passed and the Food was Halfway done Cooking.
"Thank you" Alissa wanted to say more but She didn't know what to say. After all She had been a Burden Ever since she got here. A burden to the Langoril. A burden to Vanisailon. And a Burden to Her, The Highest of Commanding Langoril, She Had to Intervene Because Alissa found herself in a Forest that Belonged to the Rínandil. Alissa didn't Realize it but even in her thoughts she was Slipping into third person like She wasn't Alissa Anymore."EVERYTHING is Alissa's Fault. If she wasn't here NONE of this would had Happened and That Poor Poor Langoril would had Been fine and Probably would had even had a Wife and Children. Multiples to thousands of Lives could had been cut off JUST because Alissa wanted to do something BIGGER with her life. Alissa was Some how becoming Subconsciously able to hate herself. "All her Fault" Alissa Muttered Unknowingly.

Alissa's Facial Expression was Sad through out the Entire Lecture in her head, Her Eyes Flickered with the Fire as the Flame Snapped and Waved. Alissa suddenly felt tiered and Sleepy which didn't make Sense to her As she was Standing fairly close to a fire With her Brain thinking more than Rain hit Earth.

Vani remained quiet while cooking the food. He couldn't help but notice that Alissa had not stayed in the cave where it was warmer. She'd been quiet throughout the rest of their journey to Vani's camp and the boy wondered why? Had he done something to anger her? He knew that he'd placed a hand upon her shoulder earlier but she'd promptly walked away from him. That had to be it. He shouldn't have touched her. They didn't knew each other. They were enemies, after all. He shouldn't have been helping her at all. Suddenly Vani heard, "Thank you". The boy turned his pale golden eyes to rest upon the girl near the larger fire that he was sitting at. "You are most welcome." he said softly, unsure if he should say anything else. Alissa seemed to be in deep thought. With each passing moment, the girl's face became more sad. Vani did not think that she realized that her emotions were starting to show upon her face quite clearly. Something was bothering Alissa and Vani was afraid that he'd truly done something. He turned the food so that the other side of the meat could cook. "I am sorry." he started. He wasn't sure if he should say anything. If anyone saw him now, they'd most likely make fun of him for apologizing to a Alarcan. He did not care. "I will admit, that...I am quite unsure what I've done to upset you so. I am truly sorry for whatever I've done." He dared not look at the Alarcan. He had never been good at apologizing to girls and here he was doing just that. He sighed softly, checking the food once more. Nearly done.

Vani looked at the girl once more. She was so different than any of the Rínandil girls that he knew. She was an able warrior and she did not care that she was traveling by herself. He was intrigued by her. The food wani noted. He pulled out one of the sticks and stood. He made his way to Alissa and gently offered her the food. He'd given her the stick that contained a bit more food on it. Vani smiled gently at Alissa. "Here you are. Are you cold at all? I have a few extra blankets that you can use, if you'd like?" he asked. She had to be cold, even being this close to the larger fire.

"I am sorry." Vani broke the Silence and Continued almost without hesitation "I will admit, that...I am quite unsure what I've done to upset you so. I am truly sorry for whatever I've done." By the time Vani said this to Alissa She was facing with Confused for his other Remark. The boy stood up approaching her with the Food "Here you are. Are you cold at all? I have a few extra blankets that you can use, if you'd like?" "Don't think you Upset Me. For you've done nothing That could have Upset me. I'm just..Upset with Myself." Alissa Started In a Regular Voice but by the time she Finished she was In a Whisper.
Her sleepiness was Making it hard for her to react and Realize what he was saying but if you were to give her a Few seconds she'd Catch on.
Alissa looked to the other Skewer of food and Looked back to Vani."I can't possibly eat all that..."Alissa gestured to the Skewered meat Vani was Originally offering. "I just wouldn't be able to eat all of it. I have a Small Appetite and I don't like to make waste of food that's being offered to me Anyways." Alissa said noticing the Slim Difference in size.

When Alissa sat there for Moments awaiting Vani's response she became More tiered and her Brain's function speed slowed more.
"I'm not ready to Fall asleep yet." Alissa Decided. Her mind was made up as she Picked up some snow with her hands. The chill and Temperature hit the Nerves in her Hand waking her Up slightly as she Pushed her hands together She felt more Willing to Stay awake.
When she finished She Warmed her Hands with the Fires heat once more, As if she was washing her Hands. The fire Illuminated Vani's Gentle Smile at her and so she grinned back. Alissa felt a gust of Cold air Come through and Course through her Body.
"I would appreciate it" She said as she put her hands On Vani's around Both Skewers as if ready to take them from Vani to hold as he Possibly whent to go get the Blanket. "I won't bite them. I promise" Her Grin grew wider.

Vani smiled at Alissa once more. It seemed like he was doing that quite a bit and he'd only just met her. He wasn't sure what to make of it. "I can't possibly eat all that...", Alissa said, "I just wouldn't be able to eat all of it. I have a Small Appetite and I don't like to make waste of food that's being offered to me Anyways." Vania regarded the girl for a moment. "As you wish." he smiled and slightly bowed his white colored head. He would not force the girl to take the skewer that contained more food on it. He preferred staying on her good side. She surprised him as she scooped up snow into her hands. He was certain that she was quite cold already so why was she doing this? He would not question her. Perhaps it was an Alarcan custom. "I would appreciate it", Alissa said, referring to the blanket that Vani had offered. "I shall find one for you then." he said, his soft voice flowing easily. He couldn't believe how easy it was for him to stand here and speak with this girl...his enemy. Vani was greatly intrigued by her and her ways. She was quite lovely, even if she did not live upon the mountains. Suddenly, or so it seemed to Vani, Alissa was placing her hands around his. "I won't bite them. I promise" , she said, smiling at Vani. He stared at her for what seemed like a long moment. He wasn't sure what to do. Actually, he felt like he'd frozen, not able to move. As if snapping out of it, Vani smiled at the girl warmly. "You'd better not. I would hate to have to hurt you." he joked. Vani slowly removed his hands from Alissa's, allowing her to hold the skewers.

Vanisailon made his was to the cave. He entered and went to the chest that he kept any extra supplies in. Unlocking the giant chest, Vani knelt down and began digging through, looking for a thick blanket. After a moment he found the one he was looking for. He pulled it from the chest and locked the chest back. He stood and walked back to Alissa. He made his way behind her and gently unfolded the large blanket. He placed it upon Alissa's shoulders and said, "My mother..she brought this out here. She did not know where I was but trusted that I would find it. Little did she know that I followed her once I'd realized that she'd ventured this far from our city. If I did not believe that I am here for a reason..I would most likely have returned to her that very day." Vani moved to stand in front of Alissa once more, a sad smile upon his face. "Come. Let us eat. I'm sure that you are starved." he said, walking to a spot near the large fire, he sat. Vani patted the spot next to him, wishing the girl to come and join him.

"As you wish." The boy said happily Agreeing to Give her The Smaller Portion. "I shall find one for you then." Alissa then felt her hands feel a Great amount of warmth From Vani's Hands...He seemed to be a Statue with moving eye."You'd better not. I would hate to have to hurt you." Vani said with a Jokey Tone. Alissa Felt his Hands Slip out from under Hers and As soon as she Felt his Hands Dissipate She grabbed the Skewer with a Death clutch. The Skewers Stabilized in her Hands and She loosened her grip just so much that She could Carry them without Concern they would fall out of her Hands.

Alissa felt something Soft touch her Neck and it draped down to her Heels covering her Shoulders. And Vani's Familiar Voice Soothingly Spoke from behind her. "My mother..she brought this out here. She did not know where I was but trusted that I would find it. Little did she know that I followed her once I'd realized that she'd ventured this far from our city. If I did not believe that I am here for a reason..I would most likely have returned to her that very day." Alissa has a thought about her Father Came into play..."Is it possible That's the Same reason Dad Disappeared? Because he Left for a Reason and Want to return to me?" When Alissa returned to Reality the Boy was In front of her fitted with a Sad Smile."Come. Let us eat. I'm sure that you are starved." Alissa Walked over in a regular walking pace to the spot where Vani asked her to sit.
Alissa Held out the Skewer with more meat on in to Vani as she sat down."I understand..." Alissa said without thinking."How you feel" She was to far into it now She couldn't say that she was just thinking of something."My Dad Vanished after setting the house on fire. He didn't say goodbye Or even leave me with the House." A frown came across her face "I took it as he wanted me to Leave and Make something Amazing out of my life." "Your not alone, And don't you EVER forget that because there's others there for you" Alissa was Concerned she sounded Pushy or Aggressive but she felt like she needed to let him know."Now I think we should get eating...If your as hungry as you look then you could Eat Eight of these"Alissa was Trying to Lighten the mood.

Vani took the skewer that was offered to him. He was surprised that Alissa decided to sit where he'd asked. He was glad, for some reason and he wasn't sure that he wanted to explore such things. "I understand...How you feel." Alissa said to him. Vani turned to look at the girl at his side. He wondered what she was talking about. The girl continued, "My Dad Vanished after setting the house on fire. He didn't say goodbye Or even leave me with the House. I took it as he wanted me to Leave and Make something Amazing out of my life...Your not alone, And don't you EVER forget that because there's others there for you." Vani looked down, his shocking white hair covering up his pale eyes and part of his face. "I'm afraid that I have no such person. I've been out here for two years and you are the first that I have crossed save for my mother. I cannot return home. I would be punished for leaving and forced to do as my father had wished. To return..would be admitting defeat." he went silent then, unsure what else to say. Luckily, he did not have to think for too long before Alissa spoke. "Now I think we should get eating...If your as hungry as you look then you could Eat Eight of these" Vani laughed then. " I will take that as a compliment. I eat quit a bit, I promise you." he said, smiling at Alissa. He began eating, hoping that she did not mind the slight stale taste that Vani was picking up on. He knew that there had been a chance of it. He really needed to go hunting in the morning. He made a mental note of it. He eyed Alissa from the corner of his eye. "You are welcome to stay here tonight. I could not live with myself if something happened to you out here." he said, softly. He hoped that Alissa wouldn't think him crazy for offering such a thing. They didn't really know each other. They were enemies. He wouldn't blame her for not taking him up on his offer.

Vani laughed. " I will take that as a compliment. I eat quite a bit, I promise you." Alissa and Vani met each other with a Smile, and then began eating. "You are welcome to stay here tonight. I could not live with myself if something happened to you out here." Vani's voice was Soft. "Thank you..You've been so kind to me Already." "But if you Couldn't live with yourself if something bad happened to me.. I suppose I could stay the night" She was Teasing him. "To be clearer I would be Honored to be your guest for the night." She had thought of him more of a Friend or Rival than Enemy. Alissa took her first bite and Chewed it slowly."It's Delicious!" Alissa Exclaimed after swallowing the piece she ripped off and chewed thoroughly."Sorry if I startled you but...It's good..Yeah." Alissa looked to the ground."I think you could be a Better Cook than Archer if you really put some time into it. I mean your cooking is half as good as your Archery" "N-Not that there's anything wrong with your cooking I love it I truly do it's just AGGGH!" Alissa sighed, Her Complement had gone COMPLETELY wrong and she was Left Hoping He understood what she meant and didn't take that the wrong way."He probably thinks im Odd."

Some how Alissa's eyes and Head found their way back up facing the moon that could barley be seen through the tree tops, it looked like a Waxing Crescent. The point when the Moon is almost in between the Earth and the sun Causing little light to shine upon the moon and Show down here on Earth. This is also known as The Growing Phase. The next Phase and Moon Would be a New Moon or Beginning. This occurs when None of the Suns light is on the moon and it Appears Dark, This is when the Moon is In between the Sun and Earth. Alissa then Remembered She avoided The Topic he Brought up "I'm afraid that I have no such person. I've been out here for two years and you are the first that I have crossed save for my mother. I cannot return home. I would be punished for leaving and forced to do as my father had wished. To return..would be admitting defeat." She could still remember what he said down to the Letter. To Vanisailon Her Comment and Opinion might come across as Crazy and in Fear of that she Kept it to herself, to Avoid it still.

Vani was surprised to hear what Alissa said. "Thank you..You've been so kind to me Already." "But if you Couldn't live with yourself if something bad happened to me.. I suppose I could stay the night. To be clearer I would be Honored to be your guest for the night." He was shocked that she'd accepted. He'd truly not thought that she would. He smiled then at her. He was glad that she seemed comfortable to tease him as well. "Good. I would hate to have to secrectly keep watch over you all night, had you not accepted." he said, teasingly. Of course, he would have followed her and kept watch until she'd decided to leave the woods. Vani was sure that if Alissa was by herself, at least until they'd become familiar with her scent, that they would most likely hunt her down once again. He ate next to the girl. Vani couldn't help but wonder why she was so nice. All of his life all that he'd heard was how awful the Alarcans are. Alissa wasn't awful at all. He quite liked her and she was beautiful.

"It's Delicious!" Alissa said suddenly, bringing Vani out of his deep thought. He'd jumped slightly. "Sorry if I startled you but...It's good..Yeah. I think you could be a Better Cook than Archer if you really put some time into it. I mean your cooking is half as good as your Archery. N-Not that there's anything wrong with your cooking I love it I truly do it's just AGGGH!" It took Vani a moment to realize what the girl was saying. He smiled brightly at Alissa. "I will tell you a secret, but you must promise to tell no one." He said, watching the girl for her answer. "My mother taught me to cook. When I was younger we'd spend hours in the kitchen. I'm an only child, so I suppose she wished for a daughter to do these things with and I was willing." he laughed. If Vani was honest with himself, he quite enjoyed the time that he had spent in the kitchen. At least he'd been able to be more himself around his mother. "Tomorrow, after I go hunting, now that will be good. It's usually better right after the hunt." he said. Perhaps he shouldn't have said that. He was implying that she would still be there with him after he'd gone hunting. For all he knew she would leave before he even got up in the morning. Vani hoped not. He liked Alissa...a lot.

"I will tell you a secret, but you must promise to tell no one." Alissa Nodded at him. "My mother taught me to cook. When I was younger we'd spend hours in the kitchen. I'm an only child, so I suppose she wished for a daughter to do these things with and I was willing." Vani Laughed a bit and Alissa Laughed with him. "Tomorrow, after I go hunting, now that will be good. It's usually better right after the hunt." Alissa thought about his Comment for a Second. "Was he Accidentally implying that...It matters little" Alissa Dismissed the thought because she felt...Secure...Or maybe it was Happy around him. "I'll be the Judge of that" Alissa Was Happily Challenging him. " He seems to have Insisted that I stay The morning...Maybe........Who am I kidding." The questions in her head Stopped and She felt Warm and Cozy Under the Blanket Vani's Mom Brought to him. Alissa Finally took her Ninth bite. "It's so good already I almost don't think it can get any better" Her thoughts rang in her head as she Became tired and Ready to Sleep. Alissa forced herself to stay awake a little Longer and eat until she was Full. There was Less than a Quarter Of Meat left on the Skewer and she was Full. "That was Deeelicious" She stated once more. "Thank you Again...For everything." Her Brown eye's Fell Upon Vanisailon.

Vani hoped that Alissa wasn't angry that he'd assumed that she would still be there in the morning. He probably shouldn't have said that. He could be so stupid sometimes and it always seemed like it was when he was around girls. He sighed softly. He wished that he would be able to easily speak with them. Vani smiled at Alissa. "You truly are too kind. I promise it was not that good." he said happily. He was so glad that Alissa had seemed to really like the food he'd cooked. He'd been worried that she wouldn't. That it would gross her out, or something like that. "Thank you Again...For everything." , Alissa said, looking at him. Vani smiled brightly at the girl. "You are most welcome." he said. He wondered if he should say more. She most likely was wondering why he'd spared her. It was against what his people taught after all. "You know.", he began, eyeing Alissa intently, "That I try not to judge anyone..no matter who or what they are. My people are notorious for judging people. It is part of the reason that I have always been an outcast in my city. They do not understand why I would give someone anything..especially if they were Alarcan. I have never had anything against your people other than when they do venture here and kill my people for nothing but land. It's senseless." He'd finished eating some time ago. Vani wondered how the girl truly thought of staying here with him. He was sure she couldn't be that trusting.

"That I try not to judge anyone..no matter who or what they are."
"As I can See"
Alissa Thought happily. "My people are notorious for judging people. It is part of the reason that I have always been an outcast in my city. They do not understand why I would give someone anything..especially if they were Alarcan. I have never had anything against your people other than when they do venture here and kill my people for nothing but land. It's senseless.""I agree It is Senseless, But I think we should get some sleep. The morning comes early" Alissa Looked back down at her Skewer and back up at Vanisailon " What do you want me to do with the food I couldn't Finish?" She was Trying as hard as she could to sound polite there, but she thought she still sounded a bit rude. Alissa Stood up sticking out her Hand for Vanisailon to get up too, "If your Planning on even Hunting tomorrow You'll need a Good nights rest, Now come on. Get up"
Alissa Grinned down at him with her Hand out still.
