- Yui's appearance is rather lackluster as far as looks go. She is average height and weight with an underwhelming bust and stature. Don't be fooled by her childish looks, Yui is actually quite strong despite her small, feminine frame and slender limbs. She is superbly flexible and can squeeze into the smallest of spaces should she need to. Her fingers and toes are quite long and Yui is often complimented on her "piano fingers" whatever that means. Yui doesn't actually play the piano though, she finds most hobbies to be rather useless.
The only really notable thing about Yui's presentation are her hair and eyes. Her locks are like the sunset, a bit hard to look at sometimes in the light and always changing colors. Of course, they doesn't really; should she need to choose a color Yui would say pastel pink or blush. People have called it everything from orange to white and there are no bad guesses, there have certainly been some funny ones! Procyon's eyes on the other hand are a chocolaty gold hue that seem to entrance whomever stares into them. She tends to hide these peculiar orbs behind a pair of red frames that dull their accidental trance.
For her clothing style, Yui prefers to wear comfortable articles that are free flowing and easy to move around in. When she has to she'll of course dress up or wear yukata but on a day to day basis you will find Yui donning whatever is appropriate for the weather and the day's tasks. When she has to go out into the human world Yui will put on the uniform of a school girl which consists of black leggings, a light blue skirt, a navy button down and ribbon with a pink sweatshirt over it. She does not like this outfit but knows that blending in with the humans is imperative.

- Dreaming; this is what Yui spends most of her time doing. She was born with the burden of watching over the planets and make sure that they stay in line, but this task that was assigned to her tends to be awfully boring at times and at others a handful. She has never had the freedom of a normal girl and often catches herself thinking what it would be like to have grown up; to not be born into the body of an adult with all of the knowledge she needed at her fingertips. But you're not really interested in that are you? You're here to learn about her personality.
At first glance you most likely won't notice Yui, she is very good at blending into the background and your gaze will most likely pass right over or even through her. That isn't a bad thing, it is exactly what she would prefer actually as Yui does not like talking to people. There are very few she will hold a conversation with and most of them are planets or stars. She does not hold the human race in high regard and there are many reasons for this; one being that Yui is very old and has seen rather a lot. While she is currently the youngest star on the Guardian side, she knows this is about to change and is not looking forward to training someone who has been so oblivious to the Planet's presence up until now.
Yui is very protective of the Planets and very defensive of herself. She does not like to get into arguments and finds quarrels to be petty, but if you start with her then you'd better be prepared for the fire that will follow. Yui isn't all bad though, actually once you get past her cold front you'll find she is actually a very sunny, warm person. She enjoys laying in the sun and doing nothing but basking in the UV rays as well as watching the birds. Yui is easily enthralled by her feathered friends and could stare for hours watching as they peck at the ground and flap about in the sky. She envies the birds for their gift of flight, it is Yui's greatest dream to one day take to the skies.

- ♥ Bird Watching || As I've mentioned before, Yui envies the birds for their freedom and ability to take flight.
♥ Sweets || Yui's greatest weakness happens to be sweets. She has always loved the taste of human delicacies such as chocolate and lollipops. In fact you can almost always find her carrying some sort of candy in her pockets.
♥ Kendo || Yui has had an interest in kendo since she was born. She loves the discipline and play fighting style that comes with the bamboo swords.
♥ Winter || There is nothing better then a fresh layer of snow, like a blanket of opportunity. The snow is a fresh sheet of paper waiting to be drawn on.

- ✘ Clashing colors || Yui actually has a peculiar condition that makes it hard for her to look at clashing colors. She also hates Dr. Seuss books.
✘ Bad smells || Yui's nose is very sensitive and she can not only distinguish different chocolates with her eyes closed, but can also identify nearly any food. It's a pain though because bad smells give her headaches.
✘ Horror movies || Yui has an overactive imagination and horror movies do nothing but add unreasonable fear.

- ❖Sword fighting || It is an art that Yui picked up when she was placed on Earth and has stuck with ever since. She enjoys using a sword at it gives her the reach she needs and comes with a sense of elegance.
❖Flexible/Nimble || Yui is incredibly flexible as she practices fighting daily and is always trying to come up with some insane new move. Yui never actually gets to fight anything aside from the dummies in the little gym though.
❖Cooking || She only makes food for herself though, unless someone specifically asks her for something.

- ☀Indecisive || Yui has a very hard time making up her mind for nearly anything. Never give her two options as it will take her far too long to come to a decision.
☀Cold || When you first meet her she comes off as very cold and uncaring, but really she is making a decision as to whether she should hate you or not.
☀Stubborn || Yui is more stubborn then a mule and overly protective of those she considers close to her.

- Achluophobia || She does not fear the darkness itself, but rather what lurks in it.
Autophobia || The very specific fear of total isolation. Yui is very afraid of being alone, or losing everyone close to her.
Atychiphobia || The fear of failure. This stems from the fact that Yui really only has one purpose in life; to protect the Planets and should she fail she would never forgive herself and so her biggest fear is failure.

- Yui does not have a family as she is a star, but she does consider the Planets and other Guardian to be her family.
ＢＩＯ
- Like all things that come into this universe, Yui was born. Unlike most things however, there was no mother or father; there was a bang and she was suddenly formed out of astral matter and star stuff and placed onto the Earth with one purpose in mind; to protect the Planets. The first few years of her new life she spent training rigorously but despite the fact that she was prepared both physically and mentally, Yui could not save them all. She has never forgiven herself for allowing a few to disappear, even though it isn't necessarily her fault that the humans stopped believing in them.
Now Yui spends most of her days training so that when she needs to, she will be prepared to protect the Celestial beings and supporting them so that they can rise once more. She isn't really an important figure but knows that something dangerous is coming. Recently Yui has begun to take day trips from the Shrine in order to better familiarize herself with the human world should something happen and they need to abandon their home in Kamakura, that way they will be prepared.
