As a child she grew up in London, England with her mother. Her father left her at the age of 6 and though she didn't quite understand at the time, she's never forgotten it, Just another perk of having a photographic memory. Her mother never told her father about what Abbigail could do. She had always hoped that maybe she couldn't really do anything and the family gift had skipped her. But it hadn't.
When she was 12 a boy called her a slut, resulting in her grabbing his wrists and leaving several burns. She was sent home and they asked her not to return to school; When her mother realized she had the gift, she pulled her out of school and had her home schooled until she was 16. She was then sent to Havengade Heights. Her mother barely hesitated to send her after her family's history there. With little good byes, she was shipped off the the school. She sent letters to her mother to let her know what was happening, several letters, but never received a reply. Out of curiosity she disobeyed afew rules and went searching when it was dark. She learned that they refused to send her letters.
Out of anger she demolished half of the girls dormitory and received punishment. After that she avoided rule breaking at all costs.
