Demi's tears started racing down her face when she noticed a hand in front of her, one of the girls was grinning down on her and said, "Calm down will ya? ". Demi took her hand as the wild flowers pushed her back to her feet. She had earlier heard that the girl was Athena's champion. At least she knew who Athena was, but she barely had any idea on who Demeter is. She wondered if the god was useless next to Athena, the famous one.

"Demeter's champion...Explains why these plants are fawning over you..." The plants, that's it. That's the reason for the over abundance of their garden and any plant she comes across with. "Th- thanks." Demi shyly muttered and as she was about to ask on who Demeter is the girl spoke up, addressing everyone as some of them fought and argued. She tried to put some sense in their heads and Demi found herself nodding. The girl was right.

Cor continued to rub her painful hip, scowling at Luke when a guy intercepted her ex and demanded that he stay calm and another guy (who Cor thinks was cute) offered her a hand but put up an argument. She was actually surprised that the guy took the time to help her, she accepted his hand and let him pull her up. She winced at the pain she felt. His hand felt warm against her's and at the same time it sent a series of bolts up her skin. Cor hasn't felt this way since she met Luke. She looked at him, he was dangerously quiet. His brows met and his fists clenched as he stared at the white haired guy.

Cor then dropped the boy's hand and rushed towards Luke and held her hands against his broad chest and, "Babe calm down," She then faced the others and placed a fake smile on her face and said, "I'm okay, honest! Luke didn't mean it." She nodded, doing her best to convince them. She then offered her hand for a shake to everyone, "I think I need to introduce ourselves. I'm Cordelia, but call me Cor. And this, this is Luke. My-"

And as she was going to face Luke, she saw that he had turned his back against all of them and walked towards Ganymede and held his toga in his fists. "Get us the fuck out of here. Do you hear me pretty boy?" He's words were few but they were loud and clear. Cor had to rush towards Luke once again, pulling him away from the Greek.

Luke had let Cor pull him away, but he pointed at Ganymede like he was threatening him. The Greek smoothened his toga and shook his head with a frown to match.

With his feet firmly planted on the ground, Cam found himself analyzing the reactions of those around him. He could only assume that the silence in the meadow meant that they were all processing Ganymede's words. Most seemed lost in their own thoughts and he vaguely wondered what they honestly thought of the situation. At present, he was one of the few standing - his arm still extended for the fallen girl to take. The white haired male's hand kept the angered male a safe distance away from the girl and Cam found himself calculating just how long it would take for this all to take an ugly turn. The amount of testosterone levels being emitted from the glowering male should have given the other teen an indication of what was to come but, to Cam's surprise, he didn't falter. This guy is either very brave or very stupid. He was thoroughly anticipating their next moves when a female voice spoke up. Cam's gaze instantly went to the speaker of the voice and found himself looking at a dark haired teenager. She looked to be their age as well and, if he remembered correctly, she was supposed to be Athena's Champion. The confidence that radiated from her as she spoke told him that the goddess - if he was allowing himself to believe all this - had an influence behind her newfound glow. He may have been preoccupied with his cell phone earlier but he wasn't completely careless. He had expected her to be timid and soft spoken; the exact opposite of what was before him.

Cam watched with thinly veiled amusement as she walked past him and toward another girl. He contemplated her words but found himself a little disappointed. Like everyone else, she didn't have any basis as to why she believed everything Ganymede had said. No one seemed to. All they were relying on was their gut instincts. A part of him wanted to believe their words; yet, the rational part of his mind wouldn't budge. There was no historical evidence to support this. Could they really trust a suspicious boy in Greek attire? He had so absorbed in his thoughts that he was caught off guard - for the second time today - when one of the guys stepped back. Cam noted that it was the more reasonable of the two and his eyes looked toward the other warily. That guy was just itching for a fight and, if the white haired male wasn't going to give it to him, he wasn't about to volunteer. He could take on the screaming kid with horns for all he cared.

Stick together? What was he thinking? This isn't some group activity we signed up for. The previous hints of amusement vanished from his face as soon as it had appeared. "I hate to break it to you, man. But I'm not really a team player. No offense or anything," he stated as he pinched the bridge of his nose. Cam didn't play well with others - never had and never well. Even when he was surrounded by longtime friends, he was used to looking out for himself. Every man for himself was a motto that he lived by. In a sense, it explained a lot about why he never stuck around one place or one person often. Cam preferred to do things his way and was always brainstorming the easiest ways out. After all, there was always two ways to approach and solve a situation - at the very least. When Ganymede offered to provide each of them with clothes, Cam glanced down at his own. They were tattered and torn in certain areas, with pieces of cloth stained in a murky red color. He almost took the god up on his offer - until he saw the alternative to the clothes he was wearing now. While the toga looked comfy and inviting, Cam didn't want to assert the team idea any more than it already had been asserted. Matching clothes would just reinforce the idea that they were all in this together and, last time he checked, they were not on the set of High School Musical.

"I'll pass. Maybe later," he mumbled in response. Right now, he would much rather be caught in his birthday suit. Feeling a pull on the arm, Cam's attention shifted to the fallen girl. A lighthearted smile spread on his lips as she had accepted his offer to help her out. While his appearance was one of ease, he was thoroughly confused. It was strange. He had held hands with girls before and he had anticipated the heat from their bodies but he hadn't anticipated the almost electric shock that spread from his fingertips to the entire length of his arm. Cam was just about to ask if she felt the sudden sensation as well when he noticed her wince ever so slightly. In fact, if he hadn't been so focused on her right now then he was sure he would have missed it. "Are you ok?"

Cam was just about to check for any injuries or bruising when she dropped their joined hands and ran to the other boy. By her reaction and close proximity to the guy, Cam deduced that they knew one another quite well. He would even jump to conclusions and say that they were in a relationship. As she introduced them and extended her hand out for anyone to shake, Cam watched silently as the guy - Luke, apparently - charged toward Ganymede and threatened him. His recent composure gave way as he let out a low chuckle. He had anticipated an outburst from the guy and he had finally done it. Cam only wished that Ganymede reacted in a more comical manner.

Rubbing the back of his neck when he realized he had attracted more attention to himself, he shrugged. "Since we're doing introductions, I'm Cam." He might as well give them his name. He might not have had any intention of working together with these people but he didn't feel like being addressed as that guy or anything like that for however long they would be stuck with each other.

Abby smiled to everyone trying to be kind despite the wild hostility. "My name is Abby..." She smiled at Demeter's champion she could feel the lack of self confidence coming off of her and smiled whispering. "Hold your head up... Demeter was a loved goddess... without her the land would bare no plentiful harvest...She taught man to harvest and respect land... she was very very important..." She blushed suddenly realizing how open she was being and shrunk a little returning to her slightly awkward shyness.

To Ganymede's offer of new clothes Abby thought about it. "Il take a set of new clothes...I'm still in my pjs so Id rather be actually dressed. Ganymede nodded and before she could blink she felt new warmer clothes on her. The material was strange but comforting and she was completely covered but it felt easy to move in. "Thank yo-" The man named Luke rushed in and Abby frowned.

Luke seemed like the type of person she would not get along with. Mostly because he seemed to constantly be trying to injure someone. She stepped in front of him and frowned. "umm... Luke??? This might be a weird suggestion... But I don't think beating up the greek guy to a pulp is going to convince him any faster of returning you..." She peeped. "J-Just an opinion..." She found herself nudging Demeter's champion behind herself and Andras mostly just because she was worries Luke might be the type of man who attacked the most insecure or the most shy and after Abby that seemed to be Demeter's champion and well... It was a strange motherly type of instinct that kicked in what could she say???

Demi took the girl's hand who called herself Abby and shook it, "Just call me Demi. I didn't think my real name would actually be a clue to who I am. It's Demetria but pleeease call me Demi." She let out a soft chuckle, surprised by the good feeling she gets when Abby was around. And as she was getting comfortable and Ganymede had provided the two people of much proper clothing- according to the boy's standards, a guy in a hoodie started attacking the Greek boy while a girl (who's dress completely widened her eyes) tried to calm him down.

Everyone else seemed to have an opinion about their situation, except her. Like what Luke (introduced by the girl Cor) wished for, Demi just wanted to pinch herself and awaken to what seems to be a dream. But she knew she was awake and conscious and everything that has been happening to her was real. Really really real.

And just as Luke calmed down, some introduced their selves. She tried to remember their names, as she felt Abby nudging her.

~~~~~~~~
Cor almost chuckled as she saw what the Greek boy had given two of them to change into. It was like Fairy God Mother boopity booping her wand and Cinderella emerged in a gown. "Yo, what is that? I mean just because we are supposedly champions doesn't mean we have to look like one right?" She roamed her gaze waiting for everyone to agree with her when Ganymede spoke up.
"Eris, not everything is a joke. These toga represent your powers and a part of you. It would also protect you from mild forms of magic that would come from unknown powers. It can save your life." Ganymede spoke, obviously pissed at the two of them. Cor shrugged and looked at Luke who was still frowning at the turn of events.
Just then the girl who introduced herself as Abby had shared a piece of her opinion about what Luke had done. She doesn't normally like it when people defy her man but she was right. Luke had went out of line and there was has to be a reason for all of this.
Her thoughts were then interrupted as the guy who had earlier offered his hand for help spoke up and introduced herself. She then found herself smiling the way she smiles when Luke is around.
Ganymede addressed all over them, "Right now, none of you would stand a chance against a Roman God, that is why you all need to train for a few days so that your bodies may adapt. Some of you may of noticed that when you used your power your body was greatly fatigued, this is only the beginning of it though. Use to much power, and your body will be destroyed." He said this very grimly and Andras swallowed hard, the fatigue had been enough to make him want to rest all day, but destroying his body? Ganymede produced a large ornate jar and begin passing out goblets to all of them, "This is ambrosia, sadly it will not make your immortal though, when drunk by a human it gives their body incredible endurance. This will be the simplest step on your way to becoming a fully fledged God." Andras took the goblet and Ganymede poured the golden liquid in it for him, Ganymede smiled and Andras noticed and looked down at him, the youth blushed and looked away apologizing, "I'm sorry, It has been to long since I have poured a cup for Zeus." It was obvious that Ganymede had a great deal of love for the Gods, particularly Zeus, it was sad to see him like this. Andras smiled and took a drink from the cup, his eyes widened and he gasped loudly, a feeling of warmth and blissfulness flooded throughout his body. He could feel his muscles bulging and energy flooding through his body like when he fought the harpies, only much stronger. To his surprise his eyes immediately filled with the stormy white like they had before, he downed the cup feeling the effect fully, he dropped the goblet in shock when he saw small arcs of electricity tracing around his body. He laughed like a child, saying joyfully, "You have all got to try this!"
Peter had no anger against the others, if anything he would do this because he had nothing left and if this was his fate then he would follow it. He looked over and saw that Ganymede was giving some kind of drink around “Ganymede, give me the toga, and this drink” as he drank his body changed again to be goat legged, with horns, he didn't even have the energy to be surprised, it wasn't physical it was mostly mental. He looked up, breathed in and said “I’m sorry for my outburst earlier, but have any of you seen a loved one die right in front of you, my girlfriend in was going to propose to today, was killed I couldn’t protect her. Anyone of you would be having a breakdown too, my town is probably wiped out, and if I put any money on it, I would bet I’m an orphan too. My only question is how are we supposed to train, I know I couldn’t fight some of these guys, some of these others are probably like me not good at fighting, what are your plans for us?”
Olivia needed all the ambrosia she could get. She walked up to Ganymede. "I would like the toga and the drink." She was really tired from battle. She never summonded a full demon from the inder world before and never planned to do it again. Now she found out that she had to practice so she could fight Romans. Not something you would like to be told after battle. She didn't fight it though since she, this was better than going back to her boring life.
Abby took a glass of ambrosia sniffed it looked over to Andras. "I'm not sure if I'm insane for trusting you and Ganymede but...Not like I have anything waiting for me back home..." She lifted the glass to her lips and drank. She felt warmth course through her body as she drank and it tasted sweet and wild. Unlike Andras she had no lighting but she had more like she had just gone through a coma and woke up. Instantly her brain was flooded with everything she had ever read, saw, thought, old dreams came back to light and if that wasn't enough she felt courage course through every stem of her heart and soul She finished off the drank and spun. "If that INST liquid gold then glue a duck to my back and call me a swan cause THAT... Was good." She smiled and pored a glass for Demi and turned to smiled at the girl. "You wanna try some???"
Demi shrugged, looks like no one has died after drinking the liquid so she took the glass from Abby and looked at everyone before she drank the glass dry. Unlike the way Andras and Abby has gone through, Demi felt normal. Her parched throat has been quenched but aside from that there was nothing special. She looked at the glass and wondered why when she started hearing whispers. She let her gaze roam, looking if any of them were whispering but everyone's lips were shut.
"We are you servants..." One voice whispered.
"Huh?!" Demi was startled, it was like the owner of the voice was very near. She then noticed a grape vine dangling and was actually swaying. It crawled nearer and wrapped itself around her hand and moved it. As if the plant was shaking her hand.
"The God of harvest has come back!" Then tiny voices were heard like they belonged to little children as the wild flowers moved even if the wind did not blow.
No! That's impossible! Demi thought to herself as more trees, shrubs and plants moved in unison. It isn't Goddess, we are here to protect you. An old voice that sounded like it was from an elderly woman then entered her mind. We can hear your thoughts as you hear ours. She gave the old oak tree a double glance, wondering if she was imagining things but she kind of saw a woman's soft old face smiled at her and disappeared.
"This- this is getting really creepy," She looked at Abby with wide eyes and amazement.
“Use too much power and your body will be destroyed.”
Ganymede’s statements rang loud and clear in Cam’s mind; however, it was that line that made his blood run cold. At eighteen years old, he’d caused enough destruction to last a lifetime but this was another level of destruction entirely. It was the type of unhindered chaos that was permanent. It wouldn’t be restored with copious amounts of money or medical procedures. Cam pictured his body failing him and grimaced. His body was very much fatigued – just as Ganymede said it would be – but he didn’t think his newfound abilities could cause so much harm. He was so lost in his thoughts that he failed to notice the golden goblet extended out to him. The Greek god looked at him expectantly and Cam robotically reached for it. He took it into his hands and stared at the liquid within. Cam could only swish the contents of the cup; not entirely sure how to proceed.
Glancing at Zeus’ champion – Andras – he watched with unabashed curiosity as he took a hearty gulp out of his own golden goblet. The sudden gasp that Andras emitted was nearly enough evidence that Cam needed to toss the goblet aside; however, he froze when he noticed the small bolts of lightning surrounding the white haired male’s muscular frame. Cam had been so focused on the electricity surging around Andras’ body that he almost missed his joyful exclamation. To his right, the once screaming teen asked for a goblet and toga and he looked on as Ganymede complied with his orders. After Andras’ sudden display of power, he didn’t think he could have registered anymore surprises. He was wrong. Pan’s champion – Peter, he believed – suddenly sprouted goat legs in the place of human legs and sported horns as well! Cam found himself unintentionally shrinking away until Peter spoke. His words and the underlying sadness behind them reminded him of his mother and he unconsciously reached out and placed his hand on the guy’s shoulder. “I’m sorry,” Cam said. He could think of nothing else to say to comfort him. He understood loss but it was nothing close to what Peter seemed to be enduring. He slightly regretted thinking ill of him earlier but, as he was Cam Messenger, the feeling subsided as quickly as it came.
He continued to watch the others proceed to drink their own goblets. He was careful to analyze their reactions to the drinks. They proved mostly positive – each of the teens insisting that it was good. Cam wondered if it held some sort of drug. Ganymede had told them that the liquid substance was ambrosia but he still felt uneasy when he glanced at the goblet. Eventually, his body’s fatigue won out the internal struggle and he raised his glass in a mocking manner. “Cheers!” Cam said to no one in particular as he drank the contents. He suddenly felt an immense surge of power wash over him – filling his body and making him feel as if he was floating on air. Cam felt almost as if he could run a marathon now; which was a sharp contrast to how he had forced his body to stand earlier.
“All right. Even I’ve got to admit that this is good.”
Just as Hermes' champion surged in the air, the goblet he was holding fell towards Earth and Cor's reflexes suddenly snapped as she caught it in mid-air. The crazy thing about the goblet was that the liquid was still contained in it, not a single drop was wasted even if it fell a few feet in the air. That made Cordelia curious enough to take a sip, but the weird thing was that she just felt better. The pain on her hips disappeared, as if it was never there. She shrugged, she guessed whoever the Goddess who chose her was a loser and she didn't have any amazing powers like the others but as she looked at Luke, he quickly magnetized her. She had to admit her attraction towards her ex was far more unbearable this time. As if the idea of women around him pissed her off. She quickly walked towards him and clung her arms on his torso and urged him to take a sip.
"Come on, you'll feel better," She smiled at him, still clinging.
"Look Cor, I will have none of this," Luke gave an exhausted sigh and shook his head. "I should bring you home."
"No! Who said I wanted to go home?" She quickly shook her head and gave him a hurt look. "The only place I consider home is beside you Luke."
"Cor- please," He let his hand brush his curly hair in frustration.
"Just drink this. I promise I'd be good. Just drink it," She let the goblet come closer to his lips and Luke could only resist the girl so much.
As soon as the golden liquid caressed his throat, Luke felt great. He quickly roamed his gaze, wanting to find a monster and engage in battle. The urge to punch someone and wring their neck was so intense that his veins are almost popping off of his body. He was sweating like a mad man and his eyes were almost blood shot as the energy pulsated through him. "Yo! Ganymede! We should be kicking some ass now! Why should we wait for them to attack when we can surprise them?!"
"Come on! Everyone! Let's do this! Let's give those bastards a fight!" He shouted, he did taunts like a wrestler as he noticed that his muscles almost ripped his shirt. They were bulging and bigger than ever. But there was something missing. His hands felt light, as if he was used to carrying something heavy and powerful.
"Yo! Golden boy! Are you not telling us something?" He raised his left eyebrow in suspicion at Ganymede.
"Hey babe, calm down." Cor rushed next to him as she caressed his back.
"Golden boy isn't telling us something! I know he is leaving some info behind," He then rushed towards Ganymede as the Greek walked backwards.
"Enough!" Ganymede called.
"I call the shots when it's enough!" Luke barked at him angrily, clenching his jaw.
"If it's your weapons you seek, then I shall give it to you." He spoke with hatred towards Luke and Cor. "But-"
"But what asshole?!" It was Cordelia who spoke this time.
"You will only earn them when you are done training," He spoke.
"Training? What the fuck is this? The army? I thought we are incarnations of Gods?!" Cor held Luke back as his anger rose.
"It is a war and you are Olympus' army."
Ganymede knew their impatience to fight and decided to indulge them, disappearing suddenly, he reappeared moments later with four minotaurs. "Have at them Champions!" He yelled leaping back, one of the minotaurs roared and charged at Andras. The Champion felt nothing but bold courage, taking a stance and grabbing the minotaurs horns. Their was a crash of dust as the beast was stopped in its tracks, it sent a punch forward into his chest which only was met with the cracking of its fingers. Andras yelled defiantly and ripped a horn off its head, casting it to the ground, the beast reeled back in pain. Andras feeling a joyful wrath come over him, laughed mockingly, the sky above filled with storm clouds. Andras looked up at them and rocketed into the sky, rushing through the stormy clouds he was assailed by lightning that fueled his very being. He stopped in the middle of the storm and held out his hand, beckoning the raw power to it. Cloud wrapped in lightning funneled into his hand forming a bolt of lightning that he clasped like a spear. He marveled at the power in his hand, it was the same zealous wrath he felt in his heart. He aimed at the beast and hurled the bolt with all his might, it shot toward the monster with the speed of lightning, striking it and causing a thunderous explosion as the minotaur exploded into a field of gore.
Olivia was changed into almost a black version of what Ganymede was wearing. She didn't know why and she didn't understand why she was here. She had drank the ambrosia Ganymede was handing out and it made her feel ten times better than when she was fighting. Everyone was going around say what God they are and she still didn't know who she was. She had to think about it and then it hit her. She had summoned Hades' treasure which she believed was a wrong thing to do, but Cerberus had shown up. 'Hades'. She was Hades champion and it actually made her happy somewhat. She still didn't know what the purpose of being here was though.
"So Ganymede who are we fighting at the end of this training?" She had her arms crossed as she walked closer to him.
Abby laughed at Demi's comment. "I don't blame you this is weird for me also I've got a million books in my head." She was about to sit down and calm down when Ganymede sent in a few Minotaurs. She stared then blinked at Ganymede. "I-I don't have anything to fight THAT thing with!!!" Ganymede smirked and pulled a spear out of Zeus knows where tossed it to her with a smirk and backed up a minotaur staring at her huffing wildly and shaking its head before it moved back and charged.
Abby instantly pushed Demi out of the way and dodged. "HEY I wasn't ready for that one." She held the spear tight shifted it in her grasp until it got comfortable and stared at the Minotaur shift and turn to look at her. At first Abby wasn't sure how to destroy the Minotaur but her mind flashed as a strategy formed in her mind and her eyes brightened with wisdom and a smirk displayed on her face. She stayed perfectly still until the minotaur rushed her. Then she waited. She waited until she could feel it's breath on her before she jumped to the side grabbed onto the thick fur of the Minotaur and slung herself onto its back with mathematical precision.
Without a second to spare she use'd the spear to pull back on horns making the Minotaur stop in front of Demi. "Hey wanna ride?" She dug her heels into the side of the minotaur having it under her control because she knew right where to apply pressure in order to succumb it. She pressed down on its side muscle causing it to move forward then she leaned down and lifted Demi on for a ride before tapping on the muscle below the other one causing the Minotaur to jolt forward.
Soon she had the minotaur doing circles like a show pony. She made it do a circle around Ganymede before making it stop and staring down at the man from her perch on the beast. "These are no where CLOSE to the same as the things in the city... Are they?" Ganymede smiled at her. "Always the observant one... It's to be expected you would see the difference." Ganymede nodded quietly. "There not the same much smaller, weaker, more tame perfect for start off for you..." Ganymede nodded to the Minotaur Abby was ridding around on a show pony. "That's why you tamed it so quickly... A minotaur in the city would take allot more taming not to mention they would be harder to get on." Abby nodded understandingly before ridding around and around Andras.
