Reno is a bit hot headed. He's easily annoyed, and isn't afraid to say when he is or isn't. Honestly, he's pissed off quite easily. You accidentally shoulder him, he might glare at you. You take a bite out of his food, he'll probably freak out. Reno is also quick to quarrel with others, mainly Jasper, over small things. He is reckless in the heat of the moment and can do some pretty regrettable things. He isn't called the 'Wild Boy' for nothing and this is one of his traits that he dislikes the most. When he gets really angry, his animal instincts kick in and most of the time he becomes feral like a wild animal. Reno has many animalistic traits and actions though he mostly shows them when he is over excited or angry.
However, Reno is actually slightly shy. This especially goes with females. Although he does consider himself heterosexual, he can get embarrassed around guys too when they make gestures of flirting towards him. It doesn't happen all the time, but in some situations where he's put in an awkward spot, he might blush, he might shriek, and so on. It's a common sight, yet, at the same time, a rare sight. He's easily embarrassed, but with his irritated look all the time, it's a bit surprising to see.
Through that tough outer layer though, is a somewhat gentle side to him. Despite his aggressive nature, Reno is a kind person. He's very loyal to his family, and he takes care of his teammates. Everyone belonging to the group matters to him, whether it be someone he doesn't like, or someone he holds incredibly close. He is so loyal to his group that he would put his life on the line to save them, if such a situation were to pass. Though, some can and will take advantage of his dedication to his loyalty to others. People who have saved him or changed his life for the better, he is forever in their dept and he holds this justification strongly. So, if one could look past his hot headedness, they'll find how caring and gentle he can really be.
