Base of Shikaku

Rin hit the ground as black spots appeared in her vision.
"GAAAAH!!!" She screamed. She couldn't handle this much longer. As she hit the ground again, another burst of power slashed at Yeven. She knew the next hit would knock her out again and she couldn't handle that again. Yeven grabbed her by the legs, the third hit cutting off all the sound. She was too beat up to do anymore. Everything went pitch black. She knew she had to get back through that portal but it was too late for her to try now.

((OOC: Well, maybe your co-workers will help :D))

Yeven saw as the Vampire fired an arrow for his head, as well as him loosening the grip on his chest. With nothing to pin Yeven in place he jumped threw the portal, but as he jumped through he saw The Destroyer being pulled back through to the other side. Yeven knew if he closed the portal now he would lose a leg, and that was not something he was willing to risk, instead he placed a portal on the back of her neck low enough to be cover by her collar. Yeven wouldn't be able to see anything, but he would be able to hear the conversation.

As the portal close and the girl had escaped, Yeven reverted to his original self. He then brought up the portal connected to the girls back and listened to what the enemy said. As Yeven listened he approach the front doors of the base and walked inside preparing for the worse in losing the girl.

((OOC: I know you guys are going to find the portal eventually, but I would hope it is your captain, since I don't think anyone is going to be looking down the back of Rin's shirt and rin should not feel the portal unless a major climate change happens on Yeven's side.))

Evangeline whatched as Yaven approached the front doors of the base.
"Back already?" she said with a bit of a giggle.
" And without the destroyer i see, boss isnt gonna be too happy with you". She said as she smirked at him as if she was silently laughing at his failure. She was never a nice girl, to anyone other than her boss, which didnt mean she actually liked her, Evangeline's lack of disgust towards her was completely out of respect and nothing more.
" So how exactly were you forced to return withought The Destroyer anyways?" She questioned, still laughing silently in her head.

Yeven smiled as he looked at the half vampire and closed the portal he was listening to, "Oh Ms. Valentine how wonderful to see you, I missed you ever so much." Yeven said as if he were talking to a baby. "You know I thought you would be missing your Human blood fountain rather than me, I mean you always did like the taste of his blood. Although he never knew you were taking it did he?"

Yeven laughed as he teleported and then embraced Ms. Valentine with a hug, "Oh, but you won’t need to ever worry about him finding out, because well he's dead. A shame I know, they killed him before I could do anything." Yeven began to hover beside her threw teleporting in the same place constantly. "Such a shame you'll have to find a new source for all that delicious blood you so crave." Yeven put his hand beneath her chin as he continued, "As for the girl, the Destroyer, yes I would have had her without a problem, so weak so useless, she didn't even know how to use her powers. How funny it was to see her squirm helplessly."

Yeven landed behind Ms. Valentine and began massaging her shoulders, " Hmm your tense dear, but as for why I did not return with the little girl is reasons under who was sent to retrieve her." Yeven gave a sigh to show a bit of sadness and disappointment, "We sent a foolish associate to do the work of a destroyer or higher, yes he simple ran in blades swinging all over the place. He didn't even know the easiest way to truly get to someone."

Yeven grip began to tighten as his sharpened claws began to poke the skin of Ms. Valentine, "Deception, luring them into a false sense of security so that they think you’re the one trying to save them. It would have been easy to do, she already hates vampires and both of the ones to capture her were both tainted with the blood."

Yeven released his grip and turned away from Ms. Valentine as he walked deeper into the base, "Unfortunately, our little associate decided that attacking them would bring him her trust. The boy was a fool and if not for him the operation would have been a success."

Yeven stopped for a second, "I'm off to head to the master, but I want to talk to you later. I found a half vampire; I am hoping you can shed a little bit of light on my knowledge of them. Too-ta-loo." Yeven finished as he waved her good bye and continued toward his master.

"uggghh who the hell does he think he is anyway? some kind of king!? who the hell told him he had the right to hug me!?" Evangeline thought to herself. She hated being hugged, especially by men.
" I dispise him enough already, and he just made things worse! oh well...i'll plot my revenge later..." She thought as she walked out the front doors. She had important bussiness to attend to. The most important time of the day to her. Feeding time. She picked her victim randomly and drank them dry, the whole time thinking about how she missed her favorite Human feeding station great tasting blood. She'd have to find a new regular victim... too bad he had to die. She wasnt really sad, she never did feel that emotion. Anger, love, happiness, and hatred were the only emotions she could really feel. After her "meal" she quickly headed back to the base. She planned on avoiding Yeven for the rest of the day due to that fact that he scared the crap out of her and she really didnt want to talk to him. Yeven and boss were the only people shes ever been afraid of in her entire life.

Yeven climbed the stairs higher and higher as he approached his master. Yeven began to think up the speech he would tell her. She wasn't going to be happy, most likely just as disappointed as he was about the situation. He arrived at her doors, overly exaggerated in size with a finely designed frame. Just how he liked it, Yeven began to open the door when the master's voice could be heard.

"You got business with me Yeven... News is, you found something of value. Is it here... No.... I thought not."

Yeven and the master were similar, never giving the ones they talked to a chance to speak. Yeven sighed, she was disappointed alright.

"So what happened? I dislike failure..."

Yeven twirled his wand as he walked to the side of the couch and teleported a chair to sit on. He sat down on it hunched over with his elbows on his knees and his head resting on the back of both of his hands, with his staff under his right arm.

"Well my dear young mistress, it all began with me traveling the outskirts of Utoko, the home town of the Destroyer. I set up portals in the forest when I happened to hear our destroyer through one of them. She was breathing hard and had just finished running from the sound of it. Then entered the God's Hand of the Chikyuu no Mirai himself, Len Takahashi. Immediately I got my first bit of juicy details, he was a vampire, and our Destroyer named Rin hates them. With this information I planned on turning it against them and convincing her that Len was the one who wished to kill and I would have brought her back here. Unfortunately another one of their members named Raze arrived, the annoying pest tried to reassure the Destroyer that they were the good guys. Lucky for me she did not believe a word that he said. I was ready to make my entrance, when our Associate arrived on the scene. Sadly he ruined what my plan would have folded out to by attacking the 3 whelps. To say the least, he had bitten off more than he could chew."

Yeven adjusted himself in the seat as he looked at the apple that the master had been tossing about. He licked his lips and continued with his report, " I soon arrived to save his life and ordered him to chase after the girl who he had almost let escape. Meanwhile I fought off their Protector, Raze. He was easy enough to defeat, but revealed a trick I had yet to encounter. He was half vampire, much like our own here. I would like to talk more about him later when I have researched the matter further."

Yeven sighed as he continued, "Eventually the battle came to my victory, but unfortunately our Associate had failed again and had let the Destroyer almost escape. For his failure to me twice I sentence him as a liability to our cause and exterminated him on the spot. I was also able to retrieve the Destroyer and bring her back here, until our Associate's failures came to trouble me again. Len Takahashi, arrived and in my weakened condition took the Destroyer back. Narrowly avoiding death I made it back here, but not before gathering more information. Apparently their entire list of elite members were to arrive there and retrieve the Destroyer. If I had stayed any longer I would have been taking on the entire Chikyuu no Mirai. Next time we go after the Destroyer, we are going to need more man power."

Yeven sat up in his chair as he began to stretch, "That is my full report, is there anything else you would like me to clarify or expand upon?"

"I see... Lost one guy and no girl." Marchen takes a bite of her apple, and sits up properly. "Maybe the running up and stabbing in the face approach will not work this time. Never been a big fan of that approach. We need a change in strategy... hmmm... Any ideas Yazzy?" She paused for a bit, but before Yezen could even open his mouth, she jumped to her feet, "I got it! Here have an apple." She gives Yezen her apple, "I will send message to Chikyuu no Mirai leader, uhhhh.... What's his name? Setsee.... Setsaaa... Setsooo... something something... Well... that doesn't matter! I will send message to him and tell him to meet me in a neutral place as a last attempt at peace... because that is what he cares about. And tell him to bring the girl, I want to speak to her too... assuming they still have the girl. After we chat, and I tell him to either give me the girl or kill her him self, in exchange for peace, and if he refuses, Evangeline and you are going to surprise attack them, and kill them! You know what... Attack him if he agrees too. Perfect! Right!"

Evangeline, who had been eavesdropping the entire time Yeven and Marchen were talking, popped her head in and said.
" Ok so killing him sounds fun but, if we do manage to somehow kill him, can i kidnap Len? "
Evangeline was obssessed with torchuring Len, They were best friends as children, until she was put under a sleeping spell .when she woke up she went and found him but he didnt remember her at all. Her heart was broken into a million little peices that day, which turned her into a mean and decieving young girl. She still holds a grudge against her former best friend and plansn torchuring him till her heart is content, then she'll either kill him or let him go. Either way she'd get to see him suffer, which is exactly what she wanted.

Yeven smirked, he knew all too well that she did love that approach; it seemed to be the only one the organization ever took. The most recent of events showed as much. Yeven prepared to make a comment on the matter, but was interrupted before he could say anything.

“I got it! Here have an apple." She said as she tossed Yeven her apple, "I will send message to Chikyuu no Mirai leader, uhhhh.... Attack him if he agrees too. Perfect! Right!"

Yeven caught the apple as it flew toward him, he decided against eating it, with the knowledge of the master’s special power. Her idea was foolish and predictable. She obviously knew the leader would bring backup and that he wouldn’t agree to the terms. It was the setup of a blood bath and one that would not be in their favor. The Chikyuu no Mirai had more members than the Shikaku had at the moment. With so little information on the enemy organization, it was going to be difficult or next to impossible to win an all out fight against the enemy. The Shikaku’s plan had to be smarter and completely fail proof. It would need to use the Chikyuu no Mirai’s weaknesses against them and it may cost an entire innocent city to accomplish their goals. While the destruction of a city would be great, saving the entire world for it's destruction had a much higher priority.

Evangeline popped her head in and said.
" Ok so killing him sounds fun but, if we do manage to somehow kill him, can i kidnap Len? "

“No” Yeven said as he slammed his staff to the ground. “No to both of you. Especially you Evangeline, we need to capture the Destroyer not fulfill vengeful plots and we definitely need to make sure no one within the top three spots of the Chikyuu no Mirai dies.” Yeven began fiddling with the apple in his hand, turning it round and round, making sure to avoid touching the bitten parts.

“As for your idea Mistress, it is nowhere near perfect and is riddled with flaws. First being that their leader would come alone to the meeting and second that they would even bring the girl. In all likelihood it would end in a battle that would cost us more harm than them.” Yeven sighed as he sat back down in the chair still twirling the apple. “Although as flawed as your plan is, has started the fruition of a better one. Unfortunately this plan will require a great number of resources and connections. The base of the plan is we lure the most powerful members of the Chikyuu no Mirai away from their base and keep them far away. Then while they are gone from base we sneak in and steal the Destroyer.

"Now for the details," Yeven began, "First of all we need to acquire an estate within a city far enough from their base of operation that they could not hear of the attack on their base. If they do happen to find out what is happening we will also need to make sure it is too far for them to do anything about it."

“Next your letter,” Yeven continued, “Send the letter that we wish to discuss plans about the girl, the recent events, and even a temporary alliance to solve the problems at hand that the Destroyer is causing. Don’t mention anything about lasting peace, it is much too suspicious. Make sure that it requires the top three members of both teams to be present. Most likely this will peak their suspicions and may even send more than just that with them. This is what we want, because the less people at their base the easier it will be to take her from there.”

“Although they will be bringing three or more members to the meeting, we will have only one member to greet them there.” Yeven said as he smiled, “Myself of course, but when they see only one person waiting for them they will expect something has gone amiss and may try to escape. It’s at this point I must regret to inform you that we will need to destroy a city in order to capture this girl and keep the Chikyuu no Mirai busy after our heist. Besides, the needs of the world outweigh the needs of a simple city. I know of a young woman gifted in explosives that can destroy a town in less than a night. She is someone I have had an eye on to join our group. She will be in charge of destroying the town that we hold the meeting in. This threat will keep the members in the room with me while the rest of our organization kidnaps the Destroyer.”

“Finally,” Yeven said as he got up from his seat and stood in place, “I will place a small portal on one the captures so that I may be signaled when the Destroyer has been captured. After she has been taken back to base, I will order the town to be destroyed, if it has not been already. Soon after, we will address the public that the recent town’s destruction and the destruction of Utoko was caused by the Destroyer. This will put the public on our side and make them want her to be destroyed. With the world against the Chikyuu no Mirai and their group having to pick up the pieces of our invasion, we will have plenty of time to find a safe way to dispose of the Destroyer.”

“That is the plan and as long as we can find the right city and you can manage to capture the girl, it will be a perfect plan.” Yeven finished as he slowly approached the master and placed the apple he had been fidgeting with into her hands. “Also I believe we should avoid poisoning our own members with apples.”

Yeven sat down with his staff by his side, “Any questions?”

" so if you arent going to kill Len...why cant i have him? and no one said anything about vengeful plots!" she said crossing her arms and pouting. She wasnt pleased with the way Yeven was acting like he was the boss of everything.
" And i dont remember asking you! i was asking Marchen." she said and stuck her toungue out at him. she could be childish when she didnt get what she wanted and acted like a spoiled brat most of the time.

((OOC: Hey guys. Kaire23 decided that I can play Miki Hikari until they find a replacement. I'm continuing a conversation that stopped abruptly on June 20th between Miki, Yeven, and Evangeline. Just so we're clear on where we're at with the Shikaku.))
"As for your idea Mistress, it is nowhere near perfect and riddled with flaws."

As Marchen listened to Yeven's master plan unfold, she contemplated over his tactician. She had most certaintly chosen the right person for this job. He could be a bit bossy, yes, but that could easily be a good thing. A person to take charge when Marchen had fulfilled her usefulness. Yeven was a person she could rely on.

“Also I believe we should avoid poisoning our own members with apples.”

She managed to keep a straight face, but she was chuckling on the inside. She didn't even poison that apple and yet Yeven was thinking that she did. Oh, the tricks you could get away with when you have power!

"Enough," she said calmly, gracefully,"Evangeline, you will have your chance to get back at Len at some point in the future. Now is not the time. Now is the time to destroy the Destroyer. And I agree with Yeven's plan a hundred percent."

"Any questions?"

"No, Yeven, your plan is perfect. You may proceed. But be warned. Do not fail me again. Oh and about the apple..." She raised the apple that Yeven gave back and took a huge bite out of it, right in front of him. She, then, tossed it back to him, saying,"Be a dear and throw that away for me, will you?"

As the apple was given back to him, Yeven looked at it with disgust as he held it by its stem.

“Glad to see my plan will come into effect.” Yeven said with a smirk as he turned to Evangeline, “With that said I have a task for you, one being to meet me in my room so that I may give you a letter that will need to be delivered to a friend of mine.” Yeven began to walk past her and the master, “Also, I hear you enjoy the color red.” Yeven ended as he threw the apple at her.

Yeven continued down the stairs as he slowly approached his room. The door was strong redwood and had a golden frame with each bolt displaying a different gem. The door knob itself was a large diamond. Yeven enjoyed his fine taste and coming home was always a treat. He flung open his door to reveal the headquarters of the soon to be new leader. A rug of fine golden silk covers the floor of Yeven’s office. He crossed the sea of gold to approach a tall throne made of ivory and encrusted with fine pearls along its rim. Next to it was a holster made of a dark matter that swirled like a miniature galaxy and glowed an eerie feeling of death. As Yeven placed his staff in its holster and sat in his coveted chair he made a portal in front of him of which the other side lead to the top of his desk.

He wrote up the letter in which it said, “It’s time.” He then raised his staff as he portaled a puddle of melted wax in which he dipped and then stamped the note shut. The wax was a deep purple, but once it made contact with the paper it seemed to become a fine gold instead of the dull white it had once been. Yeven then began to wait until his servant arrived.

Evangeline entered Yeven’s room already running her mouth before the door had closed behind her. Yeven turn his neck to stretch it out from being sore as she yammered on like a yapping dog. His last battle still giving him pain and it would be a while before he could fight again.

"Okay.. First of all I'm NOT your personal servent so don't treat me like I am. Second I'd appreciate it if you'd stop acting like a spoiled brat all the time. Now, who am I delivering a letter to? And how the heck do you know that I enjoy the color red? You been creepin on me or something? "

Yeven scoffed at her list of petty problems and decided to set her straight, “Let me stop you there, first you are to follow the orders of your superiors without question and if I want you to roll in filth like the dog you are, I expect to see the grim in your hair. Secondly, a brat, as you would say, barges into their superiors’ rooms without the courtesy of a knock and then begins to demand things without any work in show for the rights claimed. Now shut up and listen before you embarrass yourself anymore.”

Yeven paused for a moment as he debated whether he should deliver the letter himself, but the pain in his side quickly rejected that possibility. Yeven decided to ignore the comment on her enjoyment of red as she clearly did not get his racist joke of how vampires like anything red, which was originally why he threw the apple to her. Either way he had to have the letter delivered for his plans to take shape, he would also be happy to see a new member in the Shikaku that knew their place.

“As for the letter here it is," Yeven said his next four words with playful yet serious emphasis, "do not open it. Its contents would be completely useless to cure your curiosity of what is inside, so just give it to whom I ask and everything will be just peachy. Also if you do happen to open it the receiver has been ordered to kill you.” Yeven got up from his throne and teleported the letter into Evangeline’s hands as he continued to his sleeping quarters, “As for the person you are to find, she is in the Demonic city called Omora, she goes by the name Mary Vice. As for city access, I’m sure you have been there before, if not, show the guards your fangs and you’ll fit right in.”

Yeven waited at the doorway to his bedroom anticipating more back talk and some shaky remarks. He was tired and needed rest for the plan ahead. As a final note Yeven also mentioned, “Also, if you happen upon a town you wouldn’t mind being destroyed, be sure to tell me about it.”
