Sani Shotogan

"New Rookie for the Chikyuu no Mirai, watsup?"

0 · 586 views · located in Kuusou

a character in “Chasing Rin Hayashii”, as played by TnevdaNai

Description

Quote: “People have it all messed up. Not every Demon is evil. Just ask him, why don’t you?”

Name: Shotogan Sani (Romanized: Sani Shotogan)

Nickname: Cub, Blur , Trigger

Gender: Male

Age: 19

Height: 5’9”

Weight: 140lbs

Sexual Orientation: What kind of orientation would a Demonic have? Hmm…

Likes:
  • Faithful and Loyal, his two Sun arms
  • Sunlight
  • His espionage mouse Moon
  • Sweets, candy, chocolate, or anything sweet in that matter.
  • Uncooked, bloody meat
  • Naps

Dislikes:
  • The night, surprisingly
  • Sour things
  • Human meat, unless of course, it’s an adversary’s
  • People saying that he’s weak
  • Being woken up in the middle of the night
  • People being gloomy or unhappy

Group: New Rookie of The Chikyuu no Mirai

Partner: As a new rookie, he hasn’t gotten a close partner yet. He does, however, have a small white mouse aptly named Moon for night espionage. How he understands what the mouse is talking about…however is beyond my comprehension.

Race: Weaker Demonic(Or is he?)

Magic:
  • Super Speed: A rather common ability with many Demonics, however, Sani has a slight edge with his brand of speed. He is a presumed blur at full speed.
  • Superior Flames: Any fire inferior to Sani’s fire in strength is cancelled out, absorbed and used to increase Sani’s own fire.
  • Super Strength: Another common Demonic ability, Sani hardly uses it unless in close-combat situations. His punches are strong enough to crack and shatter, but not create large holes through walls and he has enough strength to lift up a large block of stone and throw it, but he cannot go further than that. He does not have the ability to create a shockwave after punching an object.
  • To Be Revealed until Sani becomes stronger

Weaknesses)
  • Overconfidence: Sani sometimes has the tendency to think that his abilities are better than others. Despite his speed, he is easily spotted by any experienced adversary, and easy predictable by dedicated observers. His flames can easily be over powered by a stronger one and he can suffer the consequences for thinking he can go toe to toe with someone stronger than he is.
  • Out of Control: In stressed situations or when under grief, Sani may go out of control and his flames actually gain tenfold of their original power, burning everything in vicinity, allies, enemies, anything.
  • Daredevil: Sani is willing to pull out all the stops in a bid to defeat his enemy, which can bring danger to those around him and to himself.
  • Inverted: The ultimate weakness of Sani is his inverted Demonic nature, he is stronger by day and weaker by night. An odd problem. By night, his enhanced Demonic senses is significantly dulled hence Moon’s job to assist him at night and his powers are weaker.

Equipment By chance, he salvaged a hand gun(Faithful) and shotgun(Loyal). The two inoperable firearms received a new form after Sani pumped a little of his magic into them, fuelling them with his fiery energy. Now, these ‘Sun arms’, as Sani puts it, are like an extension of his person, they act as channels to fire concentrated flames at his enemies, a feat unable to be accomplished by himself. These guns recognize their owner and remain inoperable to any other human, dwarves, elves, even stronger demonic. He keeps the Sun arms in holsters on his waist, Faithful on the side, Loyal on the back.

Picture: Image Image

Personal Description: Let’s begin with his hair, Sani’s hair is blonde and piled up on the right side. This gives the appearance that the right side of his hair is thicker and it kind of works on him. The sideburns on the right are longer than on his left. He sports baby blue eyes that sometimes turns red-orange. He dresses casually and very relaxed, he usually wears a white singlet underneath a black sleeveless vest. He wears casual black jeans and his belt holds his holsters for Faithful and Loyal. He wears black combat boots. He has rather fair skin and a pointed chin, he is rather lean than buff.

Personality: Sani is a person with a sunny disposition. He’s loud and proud, cheery and warm, an overall air-head in certain situations. He’s oddly positive for a Demonic. Carefree and jovial. He is rather brave when facing stronger enemies and protective about his friends. He’ll always want to lighten up the mood. He does not have a hate against other kinds like the other Demonic do, in fact, he is neutral and decides on his own will who to hate, who to like. Despite his childish, baby natured behaviour, if one were to anger him to the point of no forgiveness, Sani can turn into a unmerciful god of war. He can be rather stingy and unreasonable when it comes to matters about food. He may at times act spoiled, be whiny and annoying. However, those are merely phases. Sani is undoubtly trustworthy and a powerful ally.

History: What can be said about Sani? Well… he’s the host for the enigmatic Sun Lion Demon Cub. Merely hosting a cub, Sani has no difficulties. It is definitely noted that Demonics hav a slight dislike for him since the Sun Lion is often considered an angelic creature than a Demon, despite being a Demon. This is shown by the fact that the Sun Lion is at full strength during the day and weaker at night. As legend has it, there was a brave lion that challenged the cruel, mighty sun a long time ago. The sun wanted to sear the planet down to its very core, every plant had withered, life itself was dying away. The lion and the sun fought, and ultimately, the sun was consumed by that lion. The sun’s energy ran through the lion’s veins, however, the high powers above punished the lion for its impudence in challenging the sun, cursing him into the depths of Hell, turning him into a Demon. As such, it can be said that Sani, the host of the cub is not well-received by both Demonic and Angels. Demonics call him ‘cub’ and Angels call him ‘devourer’, however, Sani would normally not be harmed and is grudgingly respected by both parties because of the might of the Sun Lion in him. But just how much of this so called ‘legend’ is even true anyway? A lion that devoured a sun? Sounds like a bunch of made up tales to me.

Though not much can by remembered by the host himself, Sani can only recall small flickers of his past, such as the faces of his parents… as well as their deaths. Sani was young, and somehow, someone had made him host for a weak Demon, or so they thought. Young Sani had no idea how powerful the thing inside him was, nor did he have any idea that something was inside him. Out of nowhere, one day, after being bullied, Young Sani lost control, his powers running wild. He eventually calmed down after burning down a small portion of town…including his own house. He found his parents dead, burnt and blackened to the bone, but encasing him in their embrace. This is Sani’s only memory that he can recall as clear as day, the rest are just fogs. Yet he has no urge to recover them, preferring to live life to its fullest and make newer memories starting now.

Having no agenda, he eventually joined The Chikyuu no Mirai to be part of something. He found their ideals likeable, and decided that joining them might not have been a bad idea. Hopefully he was right.

Extra: Sani has no particular aim and just prefers to go with the flow.

So begins...

Being a immature teenager on the brink of adulthood, as well as housing the ever curious cub demon inside of him, Sani had the tendency of roaming around like one. Curious, always eager to explore and never able to stay in one area, be it a plain or a city, or even a small town, for more than an hour. And so he ended up in the ruins of Utoko after wandering around too much. A nap was underway after he had made a few investigations on the demolished town, trying to find survivors. But investigations weren't his thing, and eventually he got bored and slept on a spoiled mattress he found lying somewhere.

That was before a huge freaking shadow of a bird crossed him, accompanied by some kind of shrill chirping. His nap disturbed, Sani woke up with a few grumbles and rubbed his eyes. On cue, Moon crawled out from his vest pocket squeaking with alarm. If the ever sensitive Moon was alarmed... then that thing that flew above him was a...

"DEMON!" he spun around just in time to see a large bird demon flying around. As if hearing his voice, the bird demon spun around, fixed it's burning red eyes on the young Demonic and descended into a dive straight for him.

"Oh...Oh...that is one...huge..." he muttered to himself as the bird got bigger and bigger as it got closer, before he yelled and dodged the sharp talons. "BIRD!"

The demon took off into the skies again and the force of the gust being made by its wings kept Sani from getting back on his feet. Moon crawled back into her little pocket-home, and Sani could feel her shivering through his cloths. After the gust subsided, Sani got back onto his feet and looked around for the demon. Then out of nowhere, he caught two talons in the chest with the force of a truck and was elevated high into the air before crashing back down. He had managed to keep a hand on his vest pocket, effectively protecting Moon from the talons.

"Thank goodness..." he muttered as he heard Moon squeaking her gratitude, but his guarding hand and arm was beyond recovery by normal means. The flesh was torn and flapping all over the place, black, red and somehow, yellow and orange blood was pouring out from it like a fountain. "Oh...that's hideous..."

He heard a dangerous chirping noise and knew instantly that the demon had located him. He stumbled about trying to get up and finally got onto his feet. Boy...demons sure hated him, hated him enough to keep coming for him. He fumbled about for Faithful, his hand gun. By the time he pulled it out, he had to dodge the demon's talons and he ran off, trying to look for a good spot to start his counter attack.

There were two...no three people, or perhaps survivors nearby.

"HEY! GET AWAY! THERE'S A DAMNED DEMON UP THERE IN THE SKIES, HIDE!" he warned quickly, using his good hand, which was also the hand holding Faithful, to wave at them to run. When he was pretty sure he gave enough warnings, he spun around quickly and aimed at the diving demon. He fired a concentrated 'bullet' of fire, which slowly died out the higher it went. Apparently the fire 'bullet' could only travel a certain distance...and Sani only realized that now. He had never fought an aerial opponent before. With the flames dying out, the demon made somewhat a mocking chirp and tackled Sani straight in the chest with it's beak. Yet again, Sani's guarding hand never left his vest pocket, causing even more severe damage to his arm, as well as some fractures to his Demonic reinforced bones. His grip didn't loosen from Faithful, which was a good thing. However, he was thrown back yet again, this time, straight towards the ground in front of the three survivors and two horses.

"WHOA! Mind the hooves!" he called out as the unmounted horse reared up in surprise, nearly squashing Sani's head if he hadn't moved his head away in time. His injured arm was a large mess, flesh, black, red, yellow and orange all over the place, Sani wasn't surprised that he wasn't able to move it anymore. "Ah...Shame..."

Vaansyan noticed the horses had just been summoned "A summoner! Well met!" He got his horse and continued "I am something of a summoner myself. Although I my expertise is a field of work sadly undervalued in Kuusou. If not quite straightforwardly hated" He released a maniacal cackle, snorting whilst laughing. He proceeded to pet the horse "Do you name your conjured friends? Alexander?" He looked to the beautiful green hills that could be seen in the distance, and gleefully noticed their contrast with the burning city, he then commented "What a pretty scenery, albeit a bit sad".

Alexander commented about wanting to use the demon's feathers as pillows, Vaansyan released a cheerful giggle "Well, if you do, be sure to send me a pillow myself!" He laughed potently for ten seconds. Before getting serious and resuming his conversation with Alexander "Although it might be best if we avoid picking a fight with it." He sternly looked to his newfound accolade and told him "I peeked into your soul when you were unconscious." He shifted his sight to the road ahead, noticing how the path was made of cobblestone, and made a pretty contrast with what remained of the cities formerly green roads. Vaansyan lifted his eyes from the cobblestone into the horizon, and then continued to elaborate for Alexander "I peeked into your soul friend. It is a unique soul I tell you, very rarely do angel and demon meet." he said soothingly, as if trying to be sensitive with the angel, considering such a union was scorned by both angels and demons, he then continued "But I also noticed it is restrained, bind to that lovely pendant on your neck."

He looked at the pendant "I could release it... or try at least... if you like of course, it is a lovely pendant after all" proposed nonchalantly. For the rest of the journey the Angel was commenting on some things that he had enjoyed, amongst which numbered being bitten by a vampire and being tossed by an explosion. Vaansyan was about to comment strange experiences from his life, not to fall behind, but immediately something caught his attention. "Huh? A strange presence... not exactly human... but not demonic either. Care to take a look?" He then jumped off of his summoned horse. And walked into the woods that stood near the edge of the road. He continued while saying "It is likely going to be a long walk, but it's probably worth taking a look at. I have never sensed a soul like this... Vaansyan is pumped at the prospect of finding something that could make him stronger!" He yelled with a nascent eager demeanor, there was power here unlike what he had ever seen "I wonder if it is sentient..." he spoke to himself. After a long walk, they finally found a girl, notoriously disturbed, crying by the shadow of a tree, he warned his companion, Alexander "There it is! Hmm.... be careful, it does look human, but the soul is not exactly human... not Vampirical either. In contrary, it seems the properties of this particular soul would act as a magnet for vampires, it is strongly pulsating." He sighed "And guess what mate... Vampires incoming... oh dear... and here I am without an undead thrall to protect me. Well, I am glad I am with an angel at a time like this" He laughed noisily, snorting whilst he did. "Prepare for contact Alex, here they come... thirty by the looks of it, Vampires all of them! I can't fight without a thrall, so you'll be on your own! Unless that girl cares to help us and put those twin swords to good use!"

He then heard "Demon-" he shifted his glance to another survivor "Oh bugger, just what we needed, the demon is here too!"

Blood dripped from his mouth "My blood tastes so strange." He didn't care that he was just punched into a tree, Rin wasn't hurt from the explosion. He turned to the necromancer with a serious expression " Never touch my locket or I shall tear you limb by limb till there is nothing left of your body. " He said this with a devilish look in his eyes, but this look and his anger quickly disappeared. "We should probably try and break the birds wings and someone will need to take care of the vampires." He used the blood that dripped from his mouth to cover the edge of his sword. "Oh and Rin, please don't punch me too hard. I don't think I'll be able to sleep much if I keep getting hurt." He said this as if it actually meant something important.

He let his summoned creatures disappear and summoned a fox to aid him in fighting the vampires. Pitifully the fox dies a painful death being mauled by vampires. "Should've expected this." He noticed he probably wont be much help against a vampire that is clearly faster then him. "Well, I am definitely not going to be able to help in this situation. I'm just not fast enough." Alex lays down and decides to sleep for a bit. "Wake my up later." He was now asleep, which was virtually impossible to wake him up from. The rest of the people there would not be able to count on him for help in fighting this horde of vampires. The demon was now looking at Alex and prepared to strike the hybrid going for the kill. If by some miracle the demon didn't kill him, someone else probably would for sleeping in the midst of this battle.

Vaansyan released a panicked yelp when the vampires and the demonic bird first came to sight. He shifted his sight quickly throughout the surrounding land about hit. There was Alexander, who had completely forgotten about danger it seemed and gone to sleep after one of its summons got horribly killed. There was the mysterious girl with a unique soul, he spoke to himself "I hope she knows how to hold her ground against vampires!" He tried to hide behind her, bending his larger physique to try and fit behind her, pulling her in front of him with his gloved hands. He commented to her "I think the survivor is beneath the summoned horses! He might still be alive so don't neglect that! Well... its up to you now! Kill them, the vampires and the beast both!-" That's when he panicked for real and ran for dear life, letting out a stereotypical little girl shriek as he sprinted with his hands waving over his head "Bail! Abandon the angel and the wounded survivor, and the girl too!- who am I talking to then?-" He jumped to a nearby bush and hid in the leafs, making sure not to make a sound.

Vaansyan watched from amid the bush, he noted to himself "so... that was the light I saw from earlier!" He suppressed a laughter to avoid detection, for the duration of the long and bloody fight, he extended his gloved hands and channeled his magic to the grass under the bush. He really put his all into the following spell, a very, very long spell to cast, he commented "I am glad I took a sample of the angel's blood! I never imagined he would be this powerful!... and what's more here are two other beautifully prefect ingredient! The girl's power is completely unique!... and the boy-" he directed his eyes towards the survivor they found earlier, who had gotten up and was firing pure magic projectiles from his guns, fighting intensely. He maintained his gaze on the boy and spoke to himself "... if Vaansyan is not mistaken... that soul belongs to the Sun Lion! Of course it does!" he cackled with happiness.

He watched the three, fight fiercely "Impressive! They are all really strong!" He peeked again from a slit in the bush, he could see fierce swings charged with a yellow spiritual power coming from the girl. And he noticed Alexander's wrathful strength, all pleasantries had gone out the window when his friend's life was in danger. All the while the survivor boy released his massive power, hidden away in both his soul and one of the sun lion.

Vaansyan tried to keep an eye out for trouble while the three others fought fiercely. "This is not enough..." Vaansyan noted, while his hands shook from the sheer amount of power coming from them, which created a cryptic purple flare of ethereal fire around his hands that noisily thundered powerfully, and flowed with impressive strength into the arcane magic seal he was casting, resembling a circle with the symbol of a snake. He was slowly blacking out from exhaustion, thing which was extremely rare, for Vaansyan was prodigy when it came to enchanting and arcane runes. The spell was finally complete, he then released it, a massive purple flame covered the bush, but burnt nothing, then it faded, for the flame was merely the byproduct of a powerful spell of a different sort "Soul snatchers, today you go free! Feast my dear children!" He exclaimed, as snakes of pure purple black magical power, slithered away to the battlefield.

The snakes approached his allies, who were to distracted fighting a horde of vampires and a berserk demon to notice. "Here goes nothing-" Vaansyan thought out loud, as his soul snatching minions sneaked through his friends backs and painlessly and noiselessly bit them in the back of the neck, draining as much of their magic power as possible. "...Their souls can't be taken so easily... they are too strong. But the magic they generate has just about the same properties, except they can regenerate it! So no harm done in the long run." He giggled maniacally, before remembering he was hiding and shut up immediately.

The purple snakes used some of their recently stolen magical power to fade to near invisibility, slowly fading from sight. For the long battle, his friends grew tired faster than usual, a huge amount of their magical reserve energy was being leeched by soul snatchers. Something happened that surprised him though, without noticing it herself, Rin split the demon bird in half with a powerful airborne magical cut, as a result, the demonic bird burned in black fire, before converting into a rose and a dead pigeon, the containers Vaansyan had used. Vaansyan shuddered at the sight "...I am so going to regret this... boss... you better reward Vaansyan for this..." His soul snatching minions returned engorged with overwhelming amounts of stolen magical fuel from his comrades. He then mixed all the power he had found to summon a long dead ghost.

He heard the angel say "Vaanysyan use your necromancy, but don't fail this time.". Vaansyan got up from the bush, ears ringing from exhaustion from the spell he was casting, and warned his newly found friends "I am sorry Alexander. And I am sorry too lady..." he said looking at the newly found girl with glowing yellow power. And then turned to the survivor armed with two guns "Kid, I deeply regret this...". During his fight with the Leader of the Chikyuu no Mirai, Kenpachi, a long time ago, he managed to search his soul, and found out about the many people he had killed, those souls were bound together by a string of despair and vengefulness. It was fairly easy for him to remember the one who stood the most in Kenpachi's scarred memories, a female vampire who had long betrayed him, thing which lead to Kenpachi's father figure's death, as well as Kenpachi being possessed by a demon and henceforth becoming a demonic.

He used the collective magic he had stolen from all his accolades during the fight, and pulled from the depths of the realm of the dead every unforgiving soul he could muster, who Kenpachi had killed, bound them with the soul of the female vampire, whom he could enthrall safely. He lost all strength in his own reanimated body as the portal to the world of the dead was opened, which released a thundering roar as it was pried open, which caused his body to fall flatly on its knees, but he still managed to keep his hands bursting the combined stolen power from all three survivors. The noise of such a spell was overwhelming, but he successfully pulled the soul of the lady vampire alongside with the string that held all the souls he was able to withdraw that Kenpachi had killed while they yet lived, and who had not yet forgiven him. A massive mix of yellow, white and red from all the stolen magic from his accolades lit the land with an orange hue, as a small noisy tornado of their combined magical strength knit together a spectral body for the revived souls to use.

Vaansyan, stood up with fiery determination on his eyes "Ladies and Gentlemen, you have all dug your own graves, you are exhausted! And it is your own magic that has made this undead specter's being possible. You might as well surrender now... my boss will want to speak to you very soon, and you people have a lot of answers to deliver to us."

#, as written by Kaire23
Rin turned around quickly and her eyes widened in horror. In front of her was none other than a horde of dead. She immediately started shaking and took a step back, terrified. She tried to make a noise, but she only croaked. She knew she was in pain already, but she had to push it. She had to destroy them all..... Hmm.... Destroy....... What an interesting thought....

Her eyes took on a golden hue again as her eyes suddenly widened. The golden essence surrounded them all and grew thick. It soon became hard to breathe and the undead started getting cut up by this essence... Sadly, this wasn't the worst. Vaansyan immediately started to get surrounded by this essence and it soon trapped him. Smirking, she thought her job was done. She took care of the undead and the back stabber.... but what about that destroying thought? She tried to hide a sudden yelp as under her tattered sleeve, her golden marking glowed. Suddenly, Rin only saw darkness. She tried to quickly find her way out, but she was as lost as anytime she stepped in the forest.

Suddenly, Rin's body froze. A slight smile found it's way to her lips as Alex and the injured man also started getting cut up with everyone else.

"How fun.... To finally be out....." Rin muttered against her will as her power kept on growing by the second.

Alex smiled, his blood was making beautiful shapes on the ground. " So beautiful, yet I feel that I may not get to properly admire this for long." He walked up to Rin/Kuro "You are not Rin, but you have the same power as her. What are you?" His pendant started taking damage, but he managed to keep it not broken. His right eye glowed a white glow, while his left eye glowed a red glow. He stepped back trying to keep his pendant from taking damage. He was pretty sure he angered whatever being was taking control of Rin's body. The golden aura surrounding Rin was about to strike Alex and kill the hybrid. His eyes held amazement "Oh my, Rin is going to be pissed."

Just before the aura struck Alex. His genetic parents appeared, although before they were destroyed they said one thing " Sorry for not being there, but we've been busy." He watched his parents be burned by the great power coming from the being controlling Rin's body. He dropped to the ground and watched in horror as his parents died smiling a caring smile. He just stared into space, his eyes not looking at anything specific. He felt no emotion, he felt nothing. A single tear escaped his eye as his pendant his the ground with a slight ring. The one who gave him his pendant had just died, he did not know how to process this information .He dropped to the floor and went to sleep, for his mind couldn't comprehend what just happened.

Vaansyan hovered about the air. Not as a living person, but as a soul, bound to his artificial heart, an artifact powered by a dragon soul. In this magical contraption his own soul was anchored. He was locked in there, unable to speak, see or feel; trapped in his own mind. He used his basest spirit sense to track the two lads. Like fireflies in the forest, their large souls stood out like lights on the darkness. He focussed his will on to the phantom, who was carrying the small artifact, who then responded to his master's will and landed on his abandoned body. Becoming ethereal before entering its former host. Vaansyan's abandoned body sprung back to life.

"Vaansyan thought he would never return to this body" He laughed with snorting in between. He was kneeling on the ground, vacantly staring at the woods the two youngster had run off to. Then looked at an unconscious survivor in the ground (Sani Shotogan). He crawled to him, before commenting "Bad move people... bad move." He cackled maniacally, before getting dead serious "Although I do feel sorry for you both... Still do... But that's that, and this is this." He regrouped a couple of surviving soul snatchers and attached them to Sani Shotogan's body, he knew they were tired and broken, he commented "Just a little push... and I win!" He immediately noticed that the soul snatchers were getting gorged pretty quickly, "That's the sun tiger for me!" Still on his knees, he had his two soul snatchers release their power into his hands, a white fog of the Sun Tiger's energy gathered at his hands, he immediately transformed it to neutral energy, which was pretty harsh on him, as the angelic energy was difficult to transform.

"You cannot escape me lads! Now that I know what you are capable of, it is up to me to stop you..." He began gathering all the energy on an orb, constructing an artificial soul. Being only a single soul, it took less than three minutes, he then gently placed it inside one of the dead vampires with long bat wings "Awaken friend!" The Vampire got on his feet, Vaansyan continued "Take the boy (Sani Shotogan) to my boss. He will determine his fate, when you are done, pursue the escaped ones that lurk the woods, they both have distinctive blood... as a Vampire I am sure this will not be a problem to sniff." He then took a small bottle from his pocket, "here... this is the angel's blood. I don't have the girl's blood sampled, but she is sure to be with the boy." He sat back an continued "They are both probably exhausted, and you have some of the energy of the Sun Tiger, so this should be well within your power to accomplish. Now Go!" He got on his feet, and sets out to the ruins of the city.

Having absolutely no strength left, probably no more blood left in his body as small droplets dripped from where it used to pour like a tap, yet somehow fighting, Sani grew unconscious. He felt even weaker by the end of whatever ordeal his unconscious body was being put through and his breathing grew shallow. He didn't even seem to have enough strength to breath. He even seemed a little pale...

Thankfully, the essence of the Sun Lion would do one good...and that was mess up the Vampire's senses. Being a being of darkness, the essence counteracted everything, from being more powerful at night, to being with capabilities of a strong human now during the night and day. The Vampire was not as strong as it used to be because it was unable to handle the inverted nature of the essence. Carrying the unconscious Sani, the Vampire eventually grew tired after a significantly long flight before ending up crashing along with Sani into the forest underneath.

Sani fell pretty hard, but the damage was not know, since he was already unconscious. He rolled down a river bank and into the river, the river current carrying him to who knows where.

(OOC: Problem solved. You need to bear in mind the difference of the Sun Lion Demon, AND he's a cub atm so he isn't as powerful as the strongest demon or angel yet. The undead should've burned because of the Sun Lion and Alex's Angel blood. :\ Now...someone SAVE SANI! He'll die if this goes on. T^T)

The setting changes from Utoko to Kuusou

"NO! PLEASE!!! DON'T KI-......"

"WHY?! I HAVE A-....."

"YOU MONSTER!"

....
....
....

Kenpachi's eyes slowly cracked open and he found himself looking at the sky. His head pounded with an intense pain and he couldn't recall where or what he was doing. All he knew was that he had a horrible nightmare, voices of death and despair had plagued his mind like a disease, eating away at his mental state. Was it a new voice or an old one? He couldn't tell because he had slaughtered so many people in his lifetime that it would be impossible for him to tell. That fact alone scared him - that he was like that before. He couldn't dream of that bloodlust anymore, and it was shoved within the confines of his mind, only to re-arise when he tried to slip into a comfortable slumber.

The man clad in red sat up, his more recent memories returning to him. He was going after some demon before..... well, aside from retrieving his blade from the bar and leaving after it, he couldn't remember. Was he attacked, assaulted? No, the headache wasn't accompanied by a physical pain on the outside of his head, so it was no blow that knocked him from his consciousness. He pushed himself to his feet and lightly shook his head as if to rid himself of the unfamiliar daze he had found himself in. After all, it had been well over a century since someone forced him out of his awake state. Or something.

"Man.... did I black out?" he soliloquized, his hand running through his snow-colored hair. He immediately withdrew it when he felt a moist sensation on his palm and looked at it. There was blood, but it wasn't his. He knew this because his ability to manipulate his own blood also gave him a 'feel' over his blood, and he didn't feel anything besides the coldness. His eyes widened, wondering whose crimson essence it could be and though his vampiric lust said to, he did not lick his hands - he was above that.

And so he cleaned himself up, finding a nearby river to dunk his head in to rid it of the blood. As he did, a chilling wave hit him and he nearly pulled his head out the water. It might've been better if he had, because soon after, something bumped into him. He whipped his head out of the ice-cold river quickly and looked to find........Sani?

His unconscious person was floating down the river when it had hit him in the head. Kenpachi quickly grabbed the boy and pulled him to the land, noticing that he hadn't drowned do to the fact he was still breathing. So then what the hell happened? "Hey, rook, wake up!" he ordered, shaking the man. Ken wondered what he had missed, noting the fact that the demon bird was not in the sky, at least anywhere close, but he also wondered......

Why did he miss this? What had happened?

"Hey, rook, wake up!"

Sani weakly opened his eyes to see the blurry outline of what should be Kenpachi looking down at him. He grinned weakly, then blinked a few times before Kenpachi came into focus.

"Hello boss. I got caught up in a fight with this strong huge-ass bird demon..." he chuckled weakly, trying to move his mushed and mauled arm, but failing. That is one dead arm alright. "There was this mighty powerful girl I was saving though...think she's the 'One'? Oh and I feel a little weak..."

Yet again, Sani fainted, his breathing actually shallower than before and Moon emerged from his vest pocket, making small panicked squeaks. One this was for certain though... Sani was very attached to his Sun-arms...he never released his grip on Faithful.

"The demon bird..." Kenpachi stood up after his comrade had passed out, bring with him the unconscious Sani. He didn't want to waste more time than he had to, so Ken walked over to the nearest tree with shade and laid the young man against it, noting the lack of lack of hand strength, for Sani hadn't even let go of his weapons. Such a strange kid, Ken thought, making sure he wasn't going to fall over before standing back up and backing away. He gave his rook one last look before sighing. Now he had to find the 'one'.

He was no expert in tracking someone or something, but he felt he should head further up the river because that is where he found Sani drifting from. There wasn't too much chance that the Destroyer, if that's who the person Sani referred to, was still alive or there, but he had to at least look. It pained him to know that the demon inside of him caused his recruit pain and possibly caused someone their life. If he was a leader, then he was doing a bad job of it, because leaders don't let their men die or get injured unnecessarily.

So he would follow up the river a bit, walking alongside it and watching the stream of water. It was actually quite clean compared to one's expectations of a river out in the forest, and he could even see some fish as they swam with the current, in schools. They seemed so mellow and chill that Ken wondered if being a fish was all that bad. You only had to make sure you weren't caught and eaten, right? Seems a lot less harder than what Ken had to do, or so he thought. He had to protect himself, protect innocents, protect guilty, protect fellow members, keep yourself sane, and some other stuff. Life was hard, but then again, nobody said it wasn't. He just had to do his best to keep everything afloat.

Kentaro....Sorry, Kenpachi welcomed the sight of his soldier appearing alongside himself, atop his noble white mount. The elf caught his eye and Ken listened as the male spoke, but was not showing a committed facial expression. If anything, it was blank with undecisiveness. He had pieced together quickly that Asher had met this woman and had not the proper opinion on her. If she was as hostile with Asher as she was with Ken, then maybe he wouldn't be too surprised, but it didn't warrant leaving her die.

Ken would get this woman help, but the rook needed some too, and since Asher inquired.... "I will not leave someone to perish, Asher." he spoke sternly, a hint of the fatherly tone he simply had with his 'children' hidden somewhere in his words, making it sound less hostile than anyone else saying it. "But neither will you. It's good that you got here because our Rook is laying unconscious upon a tree further down the river. I, as well as Sani himself, need you to go get him and get him to treatment, as I'm doing with this woman." he instructed.

"Can you do that for me?"

"I will not leave someone to perish, Asher."

Of course he would not. Ken was a awfully merciful man, which was odd if you reminded yourself of all the factors that made him up into the one being he was. Ash's face fell into a sharp frown. "What if I told you it was my blade that caused such wounds upon this...woman..." The Elf hissed in a dark cold tone that most certainly sounded very foreign coming from his lips. The blonde moaned, which made Asher flinch a little. He did not want to have another encounter with her again, not after she had mentally messed him up.

"Rook is laying unconscious upon a tree further down the river. I, as well as Sani himself, need you to go get him and get him to treatment,"

"You're kidding me?" He questioned, rolling his eyes rather smugly. "Ah well, me and Utopia will go pick up the runt and then I’ll see you in town right sir?" and with that the large white feline nuzzled Kenpatchi hip lightly before turning around and bounding down the river’s edge.

***

The young Rookie came into view, his lean body limp against the trees trunk. A shock of worry sparked up the Elf's spine, causing his heart to sink painfully in his chest. Utopia skidded to a stop, pushing her maw into Sani's chest as though begging him to wake up. "Hey runt...You got torn up pretty bad didn’t you?..." Asher examined his mauled arm whilst sliding off the side of his stead, gritting his teeth at the sight. "Come on kid, wake up...You'll make this a lot easier if you do..." He said kneeling beside the blonde, his lips pressed into a fine line waiting hopefully for a response.

Sani awoke from his little slumber when he felt his chest being pushed by something huge. He was barely able to open his eyes to see a large white tiger pushing his chest. Oh...Asher?

"Hey runt...You got torn up pretty bad didn’t you?..." His blurry eyes focused on someone sliding down from the white beast. "Come on kid, wake up...You'll make this a lot easier if you do..."

"Heya pretty boy, Topi..." he grinned weakly at the tiger, he was fond of her. And she got along perfectly with Moon, the white mouse had already clambered out of Sani's pocket and settled herself on top of the tiger's head. He was even able to joke, "Came to save me?"

He moved about gingerly to put Faithful into his holster, while his mauled arm just flopped around uselessly like some kind of rubber toy. It looked like several vampires had been feeding off Sani, he looked incredibly tired and pale. He was feeling really weak and his legs probably couldn't support his weight.

Utopia nuzzled into the blonde furiously as she felt the slight movement in the wounded male. The tiger began to "Purr" which more sounded like a growl, but never the less a pleasnt welcoming noise all the same. "Steady girl, poor kid can't take your weight..." Asher laughed and so she stood up a little, though still lightly embracing Sani.

"Heya pretty boy, Topi..."
"Came to save me?"

Asher smirked lightly at the compliment, sarcasm or not, he didn't care. "Of course, do you want me to be your prince?" His words came out in a kind of sing song tone, silky and happy. "I even have my white steed," He stated rolling a pair of icy eyes at Utopia who seemed to be bobbing her head lightly back and forth at the feeling of weight upon her head.

The Elf's glanced at his damaged arm once again, heart sinking deeply as he tried to imagion the pain of such a wound. "I'm guessing it hurts a bit..." Ash tapped the ground in front of Sani, asking her to stand up correctly on that spot. "Do you think you will be alright on Topi? We will slowly head to town and get you fixed up, alright runt?"

Asher smiled before throwing Sani’s one healthy arm around his neck, crouched low. "Tell me if you don't think you can manage getting onto her back, even with my help," Of course he could easily throw the youth upon Utopia, but he really really did not want to cause him any unneeded pain what so ever, even if it took hours he would make sure of that.

"Of course, do you want me to be your prince?" Sani managed a weak chuckle at the Elf's sing song tune. "I even have my white steed."

"I'm guessing it hurts a bit..." Sani glanced at injured his arm and whistled.

"I had no idea it looked that hideous. I could almost throw up." he mused, before shaking his head. "Doesn't hurt. I think my nerves might have been severed, the entire thing feels numb to be honest."

"Do you think you will be alright on Topi? We will slowly head to town and get you fixed up, alright runt?" Sani nodded at Asher's question before trying to stand up.

Sani was assisted by the Elf. "Tell me if you don't think you can manage getting onto her back, even with my help." Not to disappoint Asher, Sani dragged himself close to Utopia's side with his help before Sani flung himself over Utopia like a ragdoll. It was with difficulty of course, his legs didn't produce enough lift so he had to scramble his way higher up before he settled himself flat on his stomach over Utopia's bag like some kind of scarecrow-cum-saddlebag. It wasn't the most efficient way of travelling but Sani was too spent to even sit upright.

"Well...I'm ready when you are." he grinned from underneath Utopia's belly at Asher before rubbing Utopia's side with his good hand. Moon scurried over to her owner squeaking for a little bit before she went back to Utopia's head. "White things sure enjoy each other's company."

"I had no idea it looked that hideous. I could almost throw up."
"Doesn't hurt. I think my nerves might have been severed, the entire thing feels numb to be honest."

Asher refused to have his icy eyes wander in the wounds direction but replied with jokey "Think of the healer that has to sort you out," As Sani explained about his severed nerves the Elf began to twitch, the fact that he could not feel it was just rather creepy and made him feel even more ill. Comically he lowered his head into his shoulders, looking like a owl and sticking his tongue out at such thoughts.

Sani got to his feet without a second thought. Though he was clearly very weak his determination was as strong as ever. The blonde draped his body over Utopia's back, his limbs rather heavy and floppy. "You look so stupid," Ash sniggered before hand signalling for his tiger to walk on steadily. He jogged alongside the injured man and beast, his steps lazy but somehow still rather elegant looking at the same time. That was the thing with being an Elf, no matter your personality or whatever stupid stuff you did, you always looked weirdly fantasy perfect.

Utopia purred lightly as her side was stroked with warm flamilar hands, she saw Sani and Moon as very good friends and beings she would happily protect even without Asher’s orders too. "It’s kind of odd that a mouse and feline get along, but whatever I am not going to question her judgement... However me and you have a lot in common, maybe that’s why she is fond of you so much." The brunette smiled and ran his fingertips absently through his hair. "I don't know, I'm blabbering again..."

"So how did you get so badly torn up handsome?"

"You look so stupid." Asher laughed at him, to which Sani smiled at and retorted, "I ain't an elegant Elf like you Asher. Cut my some slack."

With Utopia going at a steady pace, Sani felt a little comfortable and felt like dozing off. He breathed out rather contently. This actually felt quite relaxing...

"It’s kind of odd that a mouse and feline get along, but whatever I am not going to question her judgement... However me and you have a lot in common, maybe that’s why she is fond of you so much." Sani laughed and nodded at the statement, true. But then again, Utopia wasn't an ordinary feline, and Moon wasn't a normal mouse either, and Sani didn't just have any demon inside him either. "I don't know, I'm blabbering again..."

"So how did you get so badly torn up handsome?" Asher asked after that. Sani sighed then recounted through his incredibly eventful day.

"Oh...you know... wandering about like I usually do. " Of course, Sani was talking about the time he wandered about and actually got lost and was several cities away from their base...oh boy, that was embarrassing, "Well, came upon this ruined town... looked around for survivors, then saw a few... at least I think they were survivors." He frowned in thought. "Hmmm...there was a large bird demon that gave me this beautiful wound, then fought against some friggin Vamps," he gave Asher a thumbs up from underneath Utopia, "Don't worry, I killed for both our shares. And then we had the undead...I fainted halfway through. Aaaaaaaaaaaand, I remember falling down from the sky and into the river. Big Boss found me after that."

Sani gave an unsuccessful shrug.

"I ain't an elegant Elf like you Asher. Cut me some slack."

Asher found this comment highly amusing. He let out a distorted manic round of laughter, before managing to control himself and pulling the most girlish face he could conjure. "Oh yes! The noble, pretty, gay little fairy elf~!" The brunette skipped forwards on his tip toes, swinging his arms in a rather feminine fashion. Taking the mick of himself was a first class skill he had. "They so adorable! Sometimes they even do party tricks!~" He did a quick spin before flicking his wrist in a direction of a tree, sharp shards of a glass like material flying furiously through the air before getting caught deep in the thick bark.

"Hmmm...There was a large bird demon that gave me this beautiful wound, then fought against some friggin Vamps,"

The Elf did not know if Sani truly knew everything about his hatred for Vampires, possibly just the borderline basics or even less. Rumours had been told about his neck, but Ash had never officially confirmed the fact he was hiding his bites with a collar. "Took down some Vampires eh? Good little runt, its a shame you got so damaged. Sorry I could not be there to give you a hand..."

The trio walked onwards, though the trip was slow, the village was just coming into view.
