"Hello, weren't you there with me when Rin was glowing? It was quite amazing how much she glowed, but it was too bad that she seemed a bit sad." Sani remembered that event very well, the girl who glowed, so he nodded. " I think she was mad that I wrote on dirty paper. Hey did you know that blood can be used as ink? I managed to use it in place of ink, but I don't think Rin noticed or she would have been happy that I used such a pretty color."
"Well, blood as ink is pretty cool now that you mentioned it..." Sani mused, using a finger on his good hand to prod at his wound and then drawing a small sun on Utopia's side. Black, red, orange and yellow...pretty cool. "Yup, it's a cool 'ink' alright."
He used his good hand to shake the stranger's hand.
"Sani Shotogan, what's your name?" he smiled brightly.
"I'm sorry for bumping into you, but I was busy accepting my defeat against the orange."
What? Ash found himself looking down a hooded male, a glimmer of snow beyond the shadow. Clasped in his hand sure enough was this orange that he had spoke of, now bruised and spoilt due to the collision. The stranger offered it to the tigress to which she nuzzled at his hand and accepted the gift weirdly seeming to have taken a great deal of liking to this character. Her blue eyes were wide with respect and admiration; could not help but feel a little jealous, he did not want Utopia favouring anyone more than himself. "She's a Miss, her name is Utopia..." He explained in a monotone voice.
A slight trickle of crimson soaked into the grass below, Asher instantly began to apologise and blame himself. "Damn...Sorry it’s my fault we should not have been moving so-" before the Elf finished he found his eyes fixed the youth as he began healing himself.
Sani and this man then began conversing over the oddest of subjects, blood and drawing. It was crazy...
"Um excuse me Sir?..." Asher tried to be as polite and at ease as possible. "Could you do my friend here a huge favour...Sani needs some help as you might be able to see...Could you use your impressive healing powers on him? I'll get you anything if you do..."
"WAIT?...Rin? You mean THE Rin?!"
"I don't mind watching my blood flow, but Rin will probably punch me against a tree again if I don't take better care of myself." He enjoyed flying, but he thought that it shouldn't be normal for a human to fly more than twice a day. "I have no idea how to heal others, so let me ask my parents." He saw the forms of his parents and he asked them a simple question, but to anyone who couldn't see his parents Alex would look like an innocent young boy who had an amazing imagination. "Yes?" His father replied with a monotone voice and an intimidating look in his eyes, but Alex wasn't even a little bit fazed by this. "Do you know how to heal people? I only bothered to learn how to heal myself." He asked a stupid question, but he didn't know that it would be a stupid question. His father was a war demon, not a healing angel. "i would recommend asking your mother, instead of me." His father was being frustrated at the fact that Alex didn't know to ask an angel how to heal someone, instead of asking a demon. "Don't be mad, Alex doesn't know any better." Alex's mother was a kind and calm angel, so she fit the angel stereotype easily. "Alex it is quite easy to heal others, but healing someone wont stop the pain of the wound if you do it with your healing power." She later on went to explain the complicated process of healing someone. After she explained it he was going to try and heal the wounded person, but the man riding the tiger mentioned something about Rin.
"Well of course, she is my friend after all. I wonder what she is doing at the moment. I just hope I can find her before I do anything stupid, since I can barely do anything on my own." He knew he was useless in most areas, but Rin for some reason was still his friend and he had no idea how to make new friends. "If you dare harm Rin, then I will rip you apart limb by limb." He said this with a smile on his face, but anyone could figure out that the threat he made was not empty. "Oh, and do you want me to heal your friend now? I wont be able to stop the pain, so he'll still feel the pain of the wound as if it was still there. The wound itself shall be gone." He turned his attention back to the guy with a broken arm, since he was having a nice conversation with him. " I sleep quite a lot, do you sleep a lot as well?" He completely forgot that he threatened the guy, but he would still carry out the threat if forced to. He didn't really care about pain, but he knew Rin would probably be mad at him if he let himself get killed and he didn't like it when Rin was angry at him.
After doing so, he took a quick step back from her, allowing the improvised doctor some room, and allowing himself to breathe through his nose now that he wasn’t so close to the blood. The scent would have probably triggered some unwanted urges had he not done so, for he was still half of a vampire, and that was more than enough to physically make him want to drink. Then again, it had been a while since he had drained something of that crimson nectar, and the urges only got worse because of it.
Worse than that, Ken, as a man, had to drag his eyes off of her for other reasons. Namely, her gorgeous body, which wasn’t protected very much due to her lack of concealing clothing that was also ripped a bit from whatever had transpired earlier. She has quite the nice ass---- Ken stopped himself. That was probably what she expected from a man, and he would not justify her point by doing or saying something that would support it. Then again, it was her fault for wearing such stuff! No, he wasn’t the type to blame others for his own misdoings/misthinkings.
He sighed, then looked at the temporary doctor. “How grave is the wound, from what you can see so far? Does she have chance, or was I too late?” quite in-tune with his feelings, his words felt a bit down towards the mention of failure.
"Ah, that's right. At least three hundred people have already been evacuated to Vraush." another thrall intervened "Great... just what we need, more hungry mouths to feed." The leader of the thralls spoke up "Quiet you two. You are making the lady uncomfortable." A gentle breeze of wing caressed the landscape about them, a few of the townspeople grasped their cloaks and sunk their heads to protect themselves from the steely cold breeze.
The leader of the thralls spoke. "Well, before we go. Did you find any other survivors?" The leader of the thralls scanned the horizon for any potential threats. Vaansyan's voice sounded in his head "It might be better if you take her to me alone, her companions are troublesome."
The thrall made a signal, and another thrall made yet another signal to one of the carriages passing nearby. "Good morning sir, where are you headed to?" the carriage driver spoke with a smile on his face, making his hazel eyes shine with kindness on his feeble pale face. The leader thrall looked to the driver "Take us to Vraush. The duke expects us." The driver's eyes opened widely with surprise "Vraush? the cursed castle?" The thrall laughed wildly "Hahaha, cursed, yeah right." Another thrall intervened "You should know better than to pay undue attention to such childish rumors, good sir."
"If you dare harm Rin, then I will rip you apart limb by limb." Alexander smiled, but that was not a line Sani wanted to cross despite the boy's happy-go-lucky nature. "Oh, and do you want me to heal your friend now? I wont be able to stop the pain, so he'll still feel the pain of the wound as if it was still there. The wound itself shall be gone." Alexander explained the process to Asher, while Sani nodded as if he understood everything, although he definitely did not. The healer's attention turned to him. " I sleep quite a lot, do you sleep a lot as well?"
"Eh... not much... I prefer to travel you see. I feel more lively when I travel. " Sani grinned. "Though I do like sleep when I'm very tired."

With a light touch Richard ruffled her fine blonde hair with a cheeky grin on his and said with a soft order "Now Victoria, dearest little heart..I would be forever grateful if do you or your 'little' problem try not to break my hand this time...I must say I was surprised that you even managed to break my hand in your panic state three years ago...". His tone became almost cheerful as he clapped his hands together and said "Try not to panic dearest". Victoria's eyes widened as she attempted to understand his words before hissing through her teeth as she felt a sharp needle be jammed into her neck with surprising force. Shocked eyes turned drowsy as the sedative began to work it's magic.
Without even reacting to the violent injection Richard gently dabbed the bleeding wound in her neck with a cloth before eyeing the large gash across her back once more. In a gentle voice he said quietly to the man "I apologize for that hasty action, frankly I am not looking forward to meeting Vixen unprepared once more. Judging from the wound I expect this procedure will take about twenty minutes..feel free to observe as I doubt you would trust a strange man such as myself tending to your..lover?".
With a faint smile he began the almost rythmic process of sitching up the wound inch by inch..the fine thread turning crimson with each passing. Slowly the wound began to pull close as the thread tightened the skin like a corset would...wonderful invention it was needle and thread.
"Not good.... Definitely not good..." Len said in his head. He thought of different things he could do and picked one, maybe not the smartest one, but it was a solution to the problem.
Len rushed at Rin and preformed a vulcan nerve pinch on her, effectively knocking her out. He picked her up and ran. Len ran as fast as possible, being a vampire meant he could run extremely fast, there was a very small chance that those.. things could catch up to him, even if the were in carriage. Len ran for quite a while before almost passing Sani and Asher. Len stopped and caught his breath for a second.
" Back to the base... now.." Len said to them, they couldn't see his face due to the hood that kept it shadowed, but he knew they'd recognize his voice. He then ran off towards the base at a high speed. Once he reached it he waited patiently for Asher and Sani to show up.
"Well of course, she is my friend after all. I wonder what she is doing at the moment. I just hope I can find her before I do anything stupid, since I can barely do anything on my own."
"If you dare harm Rin, then I will rip you apart limb by limb."
Asher smiled and gave a light chuckle. "Nah, we want to help her." He told the odd male. He then leaned closer to Alexander, closing one eye in a long wink and a smug smirk hung upon his jaws. "You seem very protective of Rin, isn't that adorable..."
"Oh, and do you want me to heal your friend now? I wont be able to stop the pain, so he'll still feel the pain of the wound as if it was still there. The wound itself shall be gone."
The Elfen boy nodded before bowing his head respectfully. "Thank would be lovely, the poor kid can't feel it anyway. His nerves are ruined. What do you want as your pay?" Ash glanced over at Sani, giving him a kind of half hearted warm glare. I promise you will be okay.
Suddenly Len appeared from nowhere, holding the girl they had just being speaking about. As quickly as he appeared he vanished again, barking out some orders. The situation was causing difficulty to do as he had said.
"I don't follow orders from Vampires, Sani's life is important now. Hey Alex, if you fix him up you can come with us and see if Rin is alright. I will take you there, I promise."
Asher nodded before bowing his head respectfully, but Alex had no idea what this gesture meant. "Thank would be lovely, the poor kid can't feel it anyway. His nerves are ruined. What do you want as your pay?" The man seemed to care for the injured man greatly, and Alex didn't really want anything. "Will you help me find Rin?" He didn't really have much use for pay, since he could bravely do anything without the help of Rin. The only time his head was clear enough for him to think, was when he was experiencing intense rage, but only two things could cause him to get mad.
Len appeared carrying Rin, so Alex instinctively reached for Rin and missed by an inch. "Damn, I didn't get to say good morning to her." His biggest worry at the moment, was being rude. Alex wondered how the man could give an order, when one of his comrades was injured, but he guessed that the man thought differently than Alex did.
"I don't follow orders from Vampires, Sani's life is important now. Hey Alex, if you fix him up you can come with us and see if Rin is alright. I will take you there, I promise." Asher gave Alex the choice of finding Rin, so it Alex instantly thought that he should comply. "Really? I'll fix him up, just tell me when to do it and I'll start." Alex would be tired after healing Sani, since it strained Alex to use his healing on others. He didn't care, since he could have a chance to say good morning to Rin and he could finally talk seriously with her. A part of his mind was reserved for when he was serious, but only Rin and people who he thought would threaten Rin would see that part of Alex. He prepared to heal Sani, exactly at the time that Asher told him to. The wound itself would be healed, but the pain would disappear as in the time it would take the wound to heal normally. Due to his being a hybrid between angel and demon, he was subjected to constant pain. He was already used to the pain and he usually blew it off as something that was normal, but rage stopped the pain completely and allowed him to think more clearly.
"Was that Big Boy Vampire?" he muttered as loud as he could through his weakening grip on life. "I could've sworn...Len...eh?"
Sani was fighting to remember things now. Without blood to bring oxygen to his brain, he was feeling dumb and slow. Ever so slowly, he closed his eyes and begun slipping in and out of consciousness while Alex began to heal Sani.
"Will you help me find Rin?"
"Really? I'll fix him up, just tell me when to do it and I'll start."
"Sure thing," He nodded once again. "Now, as quick as you can if you wouldn't mind." Ash turned back to the blonde, seeing his tired eyes and weak body hung across Utopia, who was making quiet sorrowful noises. "Yeah...It was Len. God Sani, you look a mess. Keep your eyes for me pretty boy... Hey!..Shit! HEY!..."
The brunette cried out as he fell limp on the beasts back and grabbed his hand, locking his fingers between his. Of course most people knew of his gender-blindness by now. Though he did not intend to grab Sani in a romantic way but it sure looked that way. Asher did not know of Sani's sexuality either, he had simply never questioned it. A lump formed hard in Asher's throat, causing his voice to wobble uneasily.
"Come on kid, stay awake. I'm begging you..."
Vaansyan knew better than to send his thralls chasing after someone dangerous looking. "Time to begin plan B, I guess." He shifted his attention to another thrall, who was undertaking a slightly different type of mission. One that he's wager required a deeper understanding of the human mind.
On a distant stone fortress deep within the town, two wardogs playfully mock fought one another. A particularly well dressed thrall walked by, wearing what seemed to be magicians robes, except very aristocratic. Weather this man was a noble or not, regardless, he seemed to give that impression. The two guards guarding the keep stood in attention as the mysterious man walked inside the keep.
The keep was like a labyrinth, easy to get lost in. Its stone walls had very clearly fallen into disrepair, as all sorts of deformities now plagued what must once have been a splendid looking palace. After walking through the grey ancient walls, a pair of steel gates opened, Vaansyan noticed they seemed remarkably newer than the keep itself.
A long hall came to sight as the doors that hid it gave way. It was a round structure, with a round table in the middle. A group of wealthy looking individuals sat on their respective thrones. The mysterious man walked into the room, and took a bow "My Lord, the Duke of Vraush bids you a most respectful greeting."-
Ten minutes of empty courtesy and feigned friendliness ensued, before the real negotiation came to be. "My Lord, the duke of Vraush, needs your help."
A fat wealthy man spoke "I had heard Vraush was no more, but it's good to see their town still stands. What can we do for you, most honorable highness?"
The mysterious man took a bow, and continued "My master, the duke, has tracked a band of cutthroat bandits to your city."
An arabesque skinny man exclaimed "Oh?"
"Yes, they call their group the Chikyuu no Mirai. Most of them are denizens of darkness, vampires and demonics." Spoke the mysterious man.
The court whispered to one another, their faces pale in fear "We cannot allow this... Mirai group, to just walk into our city! An invasion is what this is!" Spoke a short man, standing up.
"The gods will forever abandon us if we allow them to practice their hideous magical arts within our walls! What if they invoke demons! The last age saw the effects of their tyranny, we cannot stand by idly while these demons defile our city!"
The council stood in rage and howled all sorts of confirmations on their aggressive intentions, before a very tall and slender man told the mysterious man "Tell his highness, the magnificent duke of Vraush, that he can leave this matter to our hands. We will mobilize the champions of freedom that safeguard our democracy." Vaansyan observed from a long distance, and understood that they "champions of freedom" must've been some kind of army or militia.
The mysterious man bowed "Then I'll leave this matter to your capable hands." He paused, stood up and continued "I humbly suggest you immediately handle this contingency, they are violent and dangerous warlocks and witches. They can- and will, at any time erupt in violence."
Vaansyan still laying back on the wall, had a smile concealed under his mask and hood.
Things were blurry to the blonde cub, but he ever so slightly felt his hand being grabbed, someone, presumably Asher locking his fingers between his. It was a rather comforting feeling, and warming, since Sani's own warmth was already sapped by the waiting doors of Death. This made Sani hold his own in the realm of the living, as he heard Asher's shaky voice.
"Come on kid, stay awake. I'm begging you..."
"Aye...aye...elfeeeey..." Sani spoke up in slurs, trying but failing to give the elf a reassuring squeeze back with the hand he was holding. He dropped back unconscious a while later.
"Sure thing," Asher nodded to Alex's question. Alex had a smile on his face, since he would be able to talk to Rin about random things. He hadn't told Rin about him losing to an orange, so he decided that would be the first thing he would tell her about. "Now, as quick as you can if you wouldn't mind." Asher turned back to Sani. Utopia was making sorrowful sounds, but Alex took no notice of any of the things happening. He had already began healing Sani, but Sani would probably stay unconscious until the pain naturally went away. Alex's healing worked best on himself, since he didn't notice pain enough to care. He wasn't very experienced healing others, but the healing should work. "Yeah...It was Len. God Sani, you look a mess. Keep your eyes for me pretty boy... Hey!..Shit! HEY!…" Asher seemed to be…angry? Alex couldn't tell, but he thought it would be better to not interfere. They seemed to have an imitate relationship, since Asher seemed to grab Sani in a romantic way. Alex didn't notice, and he wouldn't have cared if he did notice. He was whistling a simple tune, since the mood was getting depressing. Alex felt the life slowly leaving Sani, but he didn't think much of it. However, Asher managed to get Sani to hold onto his life.
"Aye…aye…elfeeeey…" Sani was speaking in slurs, so Alex thought Sani was drunk. He then fell unconscious, but Alex already expected this. "He fell asleep, too bad." Alex would have explained what he knew, but him explaining something would probably give Asher a headache. He let his healing magic flow faster into Sani, since he didn't feel like wasting too much time. This was tiring and he felt a bit dizzy, but he liked this feeling. Alex was oblivious to the fact that Sani might die, since Alex didn't understand the abstract concept of death. His parents were staying silent, since they had no input to help with the current situation.
