a character in “Chasing Rin”, as played by Senshi

Nehyr Gurtharthar
"I am The Furious Anger. And it is my responsibility to strike down any who would bring ruin upon this world."

Nickname: Nehyr
Gender: Male
Age: appears to be in his late twenties, but actual age is unknown.

Height: 6'3"
Weight: 210 pounds
Sexual Orientation: Straight

Likes: Board Games. Stargazing. Folklore. Fighting... lots of fighting. Image
Dislikes: Blind Optimism. Bad Manners. Ignorance. Apathy.
Fears: End of the world... also Wasps. Not really afraid of them, but finds them repulsive.

Group: Master of Shikaku
Partner: Jormungand. A massive serpent of incredible might that serves as a familiar to Nehyr. The monster often appears as a small snake that could fit in Nehyr's pocket, but it is able to grow to incredible size, the extent of which is unknown.

Race: Demonic

Magic: Nehyr posses an immense magical power which he can release as a thick, potent black around him. Normal, non-combative people in the immediate vicinity can be brought to their knees by it, and its force can be felt at great distances. Nehyr's magic is known as "The 7 Circles of Hell." They are named after the seven princes of hell that exist in Kuusou lore. There is no evidence that they actually ever existed and are merely just fabricated Hell deities. Nehyr's magic is as follows;

Belphegor- Thousands of small, black petals form around Nehyr. However, the petals are actually razor sharp allowing him to shred opponents at a distance and break through almost any defense. The petals can be used for defensive purposes, as they can protect Nehyr from an incoming attacks

Beelzebub- A magic that smashes everything the user comes into contact with into pieces. It can even be used to both crack Magic into pieces, nullifying its effects, as well as to reduce the Magic's power and to deflect it.

Mammon- Nehyr is able to choose what he wishes to touch, which can make him intangible to any solid objects or treat liquids and air as if they have solid form, seen when he is able to walk on water and air. He uses this ability to kill many of his victims by removing their vital organs without damaging the skin, as well as avoiding damage. However, he is not able to do this to magic, nor magically imbued weapons.

Asmodeus- Nehyr produces a massive veil of black magical energy, causing it to erupt upwards and approach the target, darkening the sky and heavily damaging anything caught within the blast. Afterwards, the energy continues to rise before dissipating into the sky.

Leviathan- Allows Nehyr to imbue objects or monsters/animals with the power of a demon. With objects, this can cause the item to take on dark, foreboding features. The most common example of this is when he imbues his sword, causing the blade to turn black as night and a heavy dense smoke to emit from it. With animals, the results can be far worse on the possible catastrophe scale. The prime example is Jormungand, his serpent who he can infuse his power with to greatly increase its size and strength. When applied to other animals or monsters, the affects are far ranging and numerous.

Satan- Nehyr create a brilliant, sparkling blue flame and unleashes it at his opponent. Once created, it can continue burning for seven days and seven nights. The flames cannot be extinguished with water or any other normal methods; only the user can put the flames out. Said to be "the fires from hell" and to burn as hot as the sun itself, Leviathan burns basically any material — other flames included — until nothing but ash remains. However, the flames cannot burn through magic or materials infused with magic.

Lucifer- Probably the most straight forward of Nehyr's abilities, Lucifer is a type of magic that increases Nehyr's physical attributes, making him stronger, faster, and just downright more dangerous of an opponent. When used to its full extent he is capable of reacting and fighting faster than his opponents synapses could reach their brain thus instructing the rest of the body to react to his movements.

Weakness: Beyond mornings? He is very headstrong, unwilling to see any way of thinking besides his own. This can cause friction between him and those he is supposed to trust. Even with his strength, the top of the mountain can get lonely if you're there by yourself.

Equipment: Masa Veir Shi, a long curved sword that Nehyr carries in his left hand, always separate from his body. The blade is almost five feet long and when Nehyr wants to unsheathe it the scabbard simply disappears, likely a result of Nehyr's magic.

Personal Description: Nehyr stands at 6'3" with a fit, athletic build. He has neck-length, straight black hair and a pale, yellow eye color. His skin is slightly tan, however he does spend most of his time in the sun, suggesting he is naturally pale. He has pointy ears similar to an elf, but given his rough appearance it is more likely a symptom of his demonic lineage. He has a tattoo on the left side that covers his chest, shoulder and neck. The tattoo is simple in design, the leafs and vines of a tree. His clothing is rugged, consisting of simple blue trousers, boots, and a heavy brown coat. His most noticeable piece of attire is a blood red bandana that cover the right side of his face, hiding his scar.

Personality: Nehyr often comes across as a soft-spoken intellectual. He always seaks formerly to those he is not alrady aquainted with and shows respect to all, even those he considers his enemy. He acts in a relaxed manor when in the company of the other members of Shikaku, seemingly only finding time to be laid back in the company of comrades. Despite this, when speaking of Shikaku or the methods they employ, he comes across as detached, referencing everything as numbers and unknowns. He enjoys fighting, and will often hold back if it means prolonging the fight. He maintains a level of honor and integrity when engaging in battle. He refuses to fight with children or even in the presence of a child. He always maintains a veil of respect for his opponent, is polite in combat situations and will suggest his opponents to come at him at once if he feels it will even the odds more.

He harbors no hatred for other races, believing himself above the petty squabbles. He also does not hate Chikyuu No Mirai, and respects that they just have a difference in philosophy when it comes to threats to Kousuu. When asked to play board games, he is always willing, despite the fact he is horrendous at them. He also is in love with lore, often going on long-winded lectures to anyone who even remotely broaches the subject.

History: Nehyr's past his something of an uneventful tale quite honestly. Many years ago there was a human hero that offered to become the host of a powerful demon. Certain demon's must agree to the relationship, otherwise the host's body would not agree to the joining. Nehyr was a creature of boredom who longed for the outside world, tired of the ancient confines that held him in. Where once there was a lively, evil demon, time had given way to someone indifferent to their own existence. The hero took Nehyr into him, offering to show the demon all the world had to offer. The relationship was beneficial to both; Nehyr got to see the world, and the hero in return received power to help the weak he was so fond of. All seemed to be going well for the two, until of course came the matter of Time. The hero was experiencing a prolonged life courtesy of his new resident, and he was handling the passing of those he held dear... Let's just say he wasn't taking it well. He viewed Nehyr with contempt, something that caused a rift between the two to the point there began to form a disconnect.

Not long into this period, a riot occurred in the small town the hero was staying at. The humans were on a spree, some sort of crime causing them to look at non-humans with contempt and begin killing the few that lived there in the streets. The hero rushed to the defense of the non-humans, wielding his blades and fighting off the townsfolk. However, he was mortal, and Nehyr was nowhere to be found. Pierced in the right eye with a spear, the hero fell to the ground, apologizing to his friend as he bled out into the street. Hearing the cries of his host, Nehyr awoke from his isolation, to find the body empty... save for him. He rose the body up, the blood stopping and the scar healing. The hero had hoped for light, and all Nehyr found was darkness. Nehyr found his way to the Shikaku after a few years of wandering, taking control of the group from the former Master. "The world must survive, even if all of its people do not."

Extra: Nehyr is the second Master of Shikaku. When he first joined the organization years ago, the current Master at that time felt the strongest should lead as that will insure the group will carry out its goal most effectively. This was arrogance on the part of the former Master, believing his strength to be near absolute. Nehyr struck the former Master down after a heated battle, one that left the demon respecting his fallen foe, and (now) former comrade.

So begins...
