Name:
Gerald Finn Andrews

Age:
20

Sexuality:
Heterosexual

Mate:
He is not in a relationship with anyone.

Occupation:
None right now, but he is looking.

Species:
Human

Rank:
Clueless Human

Ability:
Though he doesn’t have any supernatural abilities, he is pretty good at singing. However, he likes to just wail the notes to annoy his friends. He can also whistle.

Appearance:
Gerald is a lean young man standing at 6’. He has pale skin and dark hair. His hair is always a messy heap on his head. He has no interest in brushing it. Despite his thin looking body, he does have some muscle.

He usually wears a T-shirt, jeans, and a jacket. Occasionally he will dress up just because he can. When he does dress up he has to wear a bow tie.

Personality:
Gerald is a dork. He's a nerdy band kid who loves reading and jamming out to music. He can be awkward and sometimes has trouble saying what he means. He's a lovable fellow though. What he lacks in communication skills, he makes up for in genuine kindness and humor. He is kind to everyone he meets, even if they annoy him. It's just who he is and how he was raised. He cares about his friends deeply and would do almost anything for them. He's the friend that will answer your call at 4 in the morning and the one that will offer to come over to your house even if it is 4 am. If you're sad, he's sad because you're sad. He'll do everything he can to make you feel better. Gerald also likes to make others laugh, even if it's at his own expense. He has a habit of making bad puns, which he thinks are hilarious even if others don't. He's also sarcastic, but not bitterly so, just enough that others might call him sassy.

He rarely gets angry with others and when he does, it is usually because he is tired or he has a good reason. He is also rarely sad, because honestly he's a little ball of happiness and optimism.

History:
Gerald Finn Andrews is the third child in a family of five. He was born and raised in Cherry Blossom along with his sisters Ira and Sylvia. They are three years and a year older than him respectively. He loves them dearly, but both have moved out of Cherry Blossom whether it be for schooling or for a job.

Gerald's life has been fairly uneventful. While there are days he remembers fondly and others not so much, there's never been anything off about his life. He had a happy childhood, hung out with his friends in high school, and then attended college. He received an Associate's Degree in General Studies. After the two year program was complete, he still wasn't sure what he wanted to do with his life. He ended up moving back home and hasn't secured a job yet.

He has no idea about the war between werewolves and vampires, but he's familiar with the concept. (He hates to admit it, but he read the entire Twilight series.)

Other:
Despite being thin he eats a lot. If you don't finish something, he gladly will.

So begins...

Julie was starving, she hadn't fed in days thanks to the werewolves recently prowling the town. She was getting sick of hiding from them and depriving herself of food so she decided to go out. From what she knew there was a party that night at some house, perfect place for a meal. She put on a tight red dress that showed off plenty of leg and cleavage with her red pumps. Red lipstick and a brush through her hair and she was ready to go. Walking down the sidewalk alone in the dark wasn't a big deal to her but it was an unwritten rule of the town not to. Of course Julie could handle herself so she really didn't have to worry about anything happening unless a werewolf decided to show up.

The party wasn't too far from her apartment but it was slightly chilly making her wish she had a car or a ride. Unfortunately she could afford one, not that she really needed one but using her speed isn't a good thing in this town you never know who's watching especially at night.

Finally she arrived at the party, tons of people to choose from. Julie smiled as she walked in the door. She took a drink from the table and gulped it down before grabbing a second cup. After the second drink she wasted no time getting on the dance floor.

Lillian had called for a meeting earlier that day, she was early. She had planned for the pack to go out scouting for vamps as they did most nights. She liked the idea of them not being able to hunt every night and being forced to go days without feeding. It meant they were actually afraid of them. She paced around the table that sat in the middle of the meeting room in their pack house. The pack house was located in the woods, away from town to keep away from the humans. If humans did find it it was usually assumed that it was a normal cabin.

She went through plans for the hunt in her head but she needed the opinions of her pack mostly her Beta, Serena. Serena was the one who kept Lilly's head on straight, she made sure Lilly didn't act just out of anger especially when it came to the other pack or anyone questioning her role as Alpha.

Being a female Alpha wasn't easy, everyone questioned your leadership and your ability as an Alpha even your own pack members. Lilly could usually handle it if it was another Alpha but her own pack members usually set her off. She remembered a time when all she wanted was to be a tracker, she had the skill but when the two packs were whole she was, and still is, considered a runt. There was no way their Alpha would have allowed a runt to be a tracker, too much of a risk. She didn't understand it until later but she was always angry that she was never acknowledged for her skills until she was considered for Alpha.

Vivian had nothing to do tonight, she'd already done some practicing and parties weren't her thing. She made herself some tea as she tried to think of something to do. She curled up on her couch and thought [i]Maybe just a book[i] she thought and got up to search for one she hadn't already read in her house. Finally she settled with her mothers spell book she's read it multiple times but it always made her feel closer to her mother.

She didn't know her mother was a witch until after she'd died, she was sure her mother would have told her and her sisters when they got older but she died when Vivian was very young. Her sisters found out about their mother and lied to her about it when she finally found out. She left after that, she couldn't see herself forgiving them for hiding such a thing.

Elizabeth put the last of the plates away. There were a variety of shapes, sizes, and colours, but she always managed to have them fit nicely inside of their cupboard. She stood, closing the doors and looking around. The cafe where she worked at was empty and had been for at least half an hour. Only a few late nighters had come in, making her job of cleaning and closing the cafe much easier. She let out a yawn, despite the fact that she had no need to sleep. It had become a habit for her to yawn in order to appear more human.

Running her fingers through her dark brown hair, she let out a sigh. It had been a couple of days since she had last fed. The two packs had made it a point of trying to let the vampires (and each other) know who was in charge of the town. Elizabeth had thought that the pack splitting would make feeding easier-- after all she was now able to have a job in town instead of just wandering around-- but it hadn't. She wasn't starving, but she could feel the urge to feed in the back of her head like a nagging thought that popped up when you least wanted it. In a few more days she would need to feed. How she would go about doing this would have to be planned out. Perhaps she could scout someone or find someone Julia was tracking. If she really needed help finding and securing a meal, she knew she could turn to Arthur or to the one who had turned her. However, her protector rarely set foot in the town, preferring to feed off of people who wandered into the woods.

Elizabeth walked to the front of the cafe, looking outside at the street. She wondered what the werewolf situation was like tonight and what the rest of her coven was doing. Arthur could be doing any number of things at the moment. Rin was probably working given her occupations. Julia might be working as well. Perhaps she could text them and ask if they had seen any wolves out. She pulled out her phone and sent a group text to the three. Anybody see any werewolves yet? She hoped that there weren't any wolves out, as she wanted to go scouting or maybe even feed. She continued to gaze out the window as she waited for a response.

Gerald stepped outside into the cool air. The movie he'd been watching had just finished. He probably should have headed home, but he really had no intention to. He was still wide awake and ready to do something after sitting for a couple of hours. He turned and began to walk down the street, heading wherever the wind decided to take him tonight.

He was aware of the unspoken rule of Cherry Blossom: don't walk alone at night. Yet, he never seemed to pay much attention to it. He thought he was capable of defending himself should anyone decide to attack him. He also found it inconvenient to always walk with a buddy. Sure, there were people who were missing or turned up dead around town, but nothing had ever happened to him when he walked at night. Perhaps he was lucky. Others might say he was ignorant or stupid.

The young man stopped on a corner underneath a streetlight and pulled out his phone. Chances were that Vivian was still awake. Maybe she wouldn't mind if he came over or if they went out somewhere. Hey, so I'm guessing you're awake. I'm out walking around. Want to do something? he typed. He looked at his message and decided to edit it, omitting the part about him being out. He didn't want her to worry about him being out alone. Hey, so I'm guessing you're awake. Want to do something? Gerald hit send and then continued walking.

Roman normally enjoyed walking through the woods. Tonight, however, he did not. Too busy thinking, he had fallen into the creek. He hadn't realized how close he was to the bank of it until he had slid down the slope and into the water. He was now wet from the waist down, making him uncomfortable and irritated. Why couldn't that have happened to one of the bloodsuckers or to Serena? Really, anyone but him would have sufficed.

After rising from the creek, he had continued on his way and now found himself only a minute or so from the pack house. As he walked, careful not to make too much noise or to fall again, he wondered if Lillian was already there. Something told him that she was. He also suspected that Serena and Levi had not yet arrived, but were somewhere in the woods walking to the cabin.

Roman could now see the cabin, lights in the windows. So the Alpha was there as he had guessed. He sighed, cracked his knuckles and neck, and proceeded towards the cabin. Not bothering to knock, he entered it. Breathing in deeply and letting out a sigh, he looked down at his wet clothes. Would any of the other pack members be bothered if he attended this meeting in just his boxers? It was a bit chilly and uncomfortable in the wet clothes and he wanted to remove them. Not seeing Lillian in the immediate vicinity, he removed his shoes, socks, and pants. He decided to leave his shirt on for now. Picking up his pants, Roman proceeded to step further into the cabin.

Maybe he had an extra pair of pants here. He sure hoped he did at least. "Lillian!" he called out. "I'm going to warn you now that I don't have pants on!" He doubted his good friend would care much right now-- after all there were filthy bloodsuckers and the other pack to worry about-- but he decided to give her a fair warning just in case she ran into him while he looked for a pair of pants and a towel.

Lillian froze when she heard footsteps come in through the front door of the pack house. When she sensed it was only Roman she went back to pacing the floor. Roman was her long time friends, they basically grew up together until he and his family moved but that was before the pack broke in two. Though she'd never admit it she was hurt when he left to go to New York with his family but she understood. When he returned and she had to chose between him or Serena as her Beta she chose Serena. After that she noticed him being a little cold towards her and she already knew he didn't like Serena much since she and Lily had gotten close since he left. She understood why he was hurt by her decision but she never had the chance to explain why she chose her instead of him, maybe she would soon enough.

"Lillian, I'm going to warn you now that I don't have pants on!" She looked towards the door in confusion but honestly didn't care at the moment but it would be un-Alpha like of her to allow that so she responded in a slightly awkward voice "So put some on!" and with that she silenced and paced thinking of her plans for the hunt. She knew there was a party tonight and if she knew vampire's she knew they would find at least one leech there. However they wouldn't be able to use everyone there in case it was a distraction to let the others hunt.

"What the fuck Roman!" Lily heard just as she sensed Serena had walked through he door. She smirked finding it sort of funny but she continued to pace and only looked up from the floor when Serena, thankfully, walked through the door instead of pants-less Roman. Serena let her pace for a minute or two before breaking her concentration. "Lily you need to stop pacing, gonna give yourself a headache." Lilly couldn't help smile "My headache started when Roman said he didn't have pants on." She muttered but forced herself to sit down. "I can't help it. You know how I get, Plans aren't my thing. What if something goes wrong?" As an Alpha she couldn't help but worry about her pack and the innocent people that could be hurt in the process of them trying to kill the vermin that are vampires. Hey I think there's a new wolf in town. I've never sensed him before, think you can check that out for me tomorrow?" She asked before turning towards the door Roman I swear, get some pants on and get in here!

She had picked out her potential lover/dinner, who was a little more drunk than she was but the drunker the better. While they danced together she felt someone bump her from behind and was ready to turn around and yell at whomever it was but saw a woman. Now Julia isn't one to yell at woman unless there's a good reason like she's being a bitch. The woman apologized with a smile and went further into the crowd with her friends before Julia could respond. There was something about her but she couldn't put her finger on it at the moment. She ignored the feeling, for now, and lost her dinner somehow. Frustrated she left the dance floor for another drink or two and pulled out her phone. She saw a text from Elisabeth, a group text, Julia hated those but she replied anyway -Not that I've seen. Out at a party, Plenty of humans ;)- She pushed send and put the phone back in it's place in her purse before picking up a cup and chugging whatever was inside.

Before she picked up the second cup she sensed something she didn't want to worry about tonight, werewolf. She scanned the room but couldn't tell who it was so she focused on acting as human as possible. She pulled out her phone again -Werewolf just arrived. Might head out, might not.- She sent the text and put the phone back. She honestly wasn't sure if she should even be worried, this one was alone but it could have called for backup once it sensed her.

Just as she settled down with her mother's spell book she heard her phone buzz. She tried to ignore it but her curiosity got to her so she put the book down and picked up the phone to see a text from Gerald. She smiled, she liked Gerald he was nice and probably one of the only friends she had in town who was actually human besides the sheriff. -Sure. Not doing anything. Where we meeting?- she texted back and got up out of her seat. She picked up the book and put it back in it's hiding place before going to find something suitable to wear. She finally found something, a casual outfit, jeans and a tshirt with a pair of sneakers. Pretty plain but she was fine with it. She sat back down awaiting a response as she finished her tea.

Elisabeth continued looking out the window, daydreaming of simpler times. Times before she didn't have to glance over her shoulder at night, before she was in this war between species, before she was a bloodsucker. Some days she would think about her family and wonder how much they had been hurt by her death/disappearance. After all, her body would never been found even if she was truly dead. The vampire who had turned her had transported her across the country by the time she awoke. Still, it would have been nice to have a proper goodbye with her friends and family. But there was no use in being sad about it, as it was out of her control and always would be. On a few occasions she had observed her siblings from a distance and they seemed happy enough. That was good enough for her.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the feeling of eyes on her. She turned to meet them, making eye contact with a young male next to a motorcycle. Though it was only a moment or two before he put his helmet on and rode down the street, Elisabeth felt that he was familiar. She knew she had not seen his face around Cherry Blossom before, as she knew nearly everyone here-- whether they knew it or not. It was her job to scout the town for potential meals (though she considered this part of her job pointless, as others often ate whomever they desired), know who was in Cherry Blossom, and know what was happening around town. No, it was not his that was familiar but his entire being. She was almost certain that he too was a vampire.

Perhaps she should follow him and find out who he was. What would Arthur think of this? The coven leader could be quite unpredictable. He might decide to rip off the other man's head or he might happily offer him a spot in the coven. Something told her it would be the latter, considering the current werewolf situation. Though the pack was split and the two resulting packs did like to ruffle each other's feathers, they still had the common goal of protecting the humans from vampires. So far none of the coven had been bitten, which was a good thing. Elisabeth had never experienced a bitten vampire before, but Arthur had told her that it results in the afflicted slowly going crazy and attacking the members of their coven. This was not something that Elisabeth wanted to happen to her, though she had a feeling that some of the wolves would rather just kill her on the spot.

Willow would likely be one of those wolves. Truth be told, the young vampire was rather scared of the Alpha. She had a formidable look and presence. It was as if she were telling the whole world that she is not to be messed with. Lillian was intimidating too, but not like Willow. Still, both Alphas could hold their own in a fight.

Elisabeth was again pulled out of her thoughts by her phone vibrating. She looked at Julia's message, saying she hadn't seen any vampires and was at a party with lots of humans. Elisabeth didn't need to feed tonight nor did she enjoy parties. The music was loud, the humans reeked of alcohol, and there were just too many people in one place. She could see Julia thriving in that sort of environment though and was happy to hear that her coven mate was ok.

She was considering leaving the cafe early when Sheriff Dawson walked in. Any hopes of finding out who the mysterious young vampire was would have to wait. Elisabeth was obligated to serve any customer no matter how close to the end of the night that they walked in. Besides, she should have suspected there Sheriff would come around for a late dinner. That's just what she did.

"It's slow in here today. You think it's because of the parties?" the Sheriff commented as she took a seat at the counter. Elisabeth walked from he window back to her spot behind the counter. "It's been pretty slow all day. Nobody has been in in at least half an hour." Thus, she had started cleaning up the cafe ahead of schedule as she hadn't expected any more customers. "It could be," she said, responding to the Sheriff's second statement. "It could also be that Cherry Blossom isn't safe at night. After all, people say you should always walk with a buddy." It was the truth after all-- Cherry Blossom wasn't safe at night. The Sheriff knew as much too, though Elisabeth doubted she knew the true reasons.

"How have you been Elisabeth? It's been awhile." The Sheriff was glancing over the menu, despite coming to the cafe quite frequently. Humans were odd that way. Had she done that as a human? Elisabeth really couldn't remember. "I've been fine. Just working here and reading lots of books." She was thankful that she didn't need to attend the local high school to pass as human. If she did, she felt she would go insane. Instead, she was able to work and obtain money for books and clothes. What she didn't spend was saved for whenever she decided to fix up her house, which would probably be deemed unsafe to live in if a human lived there.

She smiled as she handed Shane a glass of water. "How have you been Sheriff Dawson? It can't be easy trying to deal with all of the recent deaths in the town." There was no denying the deaths of humans around the town whether it be vampire related or natural. Elisabeth decided to bring it up for two reasons: she was interested in what the Sheriff had to say about the murders and because she didn't know what else to talk about. A human her age would probably be curious about what the Sheriff was doing. Humans were both curious and disgusted by murders, so Elisabeth believed this wouldn't raise any alarm by her asking about it. Plus she could gauge how much the Sheriff knew about the true nature of the murders, though she still had doubts that Sheriff Dawson was aware of the supernatural presence in the quaint town of Cherry Blossom.

Elisabeth's phone vibrated in her pocket. She pulled it out and read the text from Julia, stating that a wolf was at the party. Of course, that wasn't enough to convince Julia to leave. The blonde vampire would probably stay unless it was either of the Alphas or Betas. So there was probably no need to be concerned at this point. Elisabeth couldn't do anything anyway, as she was busy doing her job. Ok, don't make a scene and be careful, she replied before placing her phone back in her pocket. If Julia did need help, she could always call Arthur or Rin.

Gerald decided to head toward the center of town, knowing that the streets there were well lit and well travelled (at least during the day and early evening). He had no personal concerns of being attacked as he walked, but he figured he would play it safe just in case tonight was the night someone decided he was a perfect target.

He continued walking, enjoying the cool spring air. It wasn't terribly late, but he was still surprised to see a trio of people on the next block. The trio quick dispersed, with a male and female heading his way while the other male walked away opposite of them. The female called out to the lone male. However, Gerald did not pick up on what she said. His phone had vibrated in his pocket. He read the text from Vivian, more intrigued with it than whatever the woman had said to one of the men. Remembering that they were walking towards him, he moved off to the side so that the two would be able to pass him.

Honestly, Gerald hadn't planned what to do, where to go, or where to even meet. He just wanted to do something with someone. He really should have thought ahead, as now he was left staring at the keyboard of his phone. It was late, so most stores and restaurants would be closed right now. The movie theater was still open, but he wasn't in the mood to see another one. He tried to think of somewhere where they could go that would be open, have something fun to do, and wasn't near any shady parts of town.

He couldn't come up with anything and felt increasing pressure to reply to Vivian. Well, what do you want to do? he decided to ask. I'm at the center of town right now. Even if he did have any ideas for what to do, he would go with whatever Vivian wanted to do (unless it was along the lines of robbing a bank or another illegal activity). He just wanted to hang out with his good friend.

Gerald placed his cellphone back in his left pocket before proceeding to walk down the street.

Apparently taking off one's pants was no appropriate in the Pack House, even if one did so because he fell in a creek. Roman had been hoping for a more playful response than the one he received from Lillian, but wasn't surprised by it either. He really shouldn't have taken his pants off, but at least he announced it before walking further into the house. It wasn't as if he was planning on walking around without pants on for the rest of the night. As soon as he found another pair and a towel he would be properly clothed.

Just as he was about to go in search of some pants, Serena walked in. And I thought falling into the creek was bad. Well at least she didn't- "What the fuck Roman!" Nevermind. Roman couldn't help but grin as Serena passed by him. While it was rather unfortunate that she saw him in such a state, it was also rather amusing. She obviously didn't think it was judging by her reaction.

Roman laughed as she quickly walked around him with eyes averted. "C'mon, I'm not naked or anything!" Serena, not caring if he was naked or not, disappeared into the meeting room. Still amused at her horrified reaction in comparison to the terse one he received from Lillian, he entered the house on the quest to find pants. He knew he had an extra pair in one of the rooms, but wasn't sure exactly which one. He had been drunk when he'd dropped them off, but at least he was thinking straight enough to actually bring clothing to the house in case of emergencies.

He quickly checked the bedrooms of the Pack House, but didn't find his clothing in any of the wardrobes or drawers. Where the hell had he put his clothes?! He closed his eyes, trying to remember. When he'd come to the house, he'd gotten a glass of water before putting his clothes... somewhere. Well, at least he knew they weren't in the kitchen. That still left quite a few places for them to be. Maybe they were in one of the bathrooms?

Roman returned to the master bedroom, which had a bathroom attached to it. Upon opening the closet door he found not only spare towels, but his clothing crumpled into a ball. Some might be concerned as to why he had placed his clothes in a bathroom closet, but weirder things had happened in Cherry Blossom. He grabbed one of the towels and began drying off his now damp legs. He started to dry off his boxers when he heard Lillian's voice. "Roman I swear, get some pants on and get in here!" He chuckled and deeming himself dry enough, put on his extra pair of pants. He tossed the wet pair into the sink, making a mental note to come back for them tomorrow.

Grinning, he walked into the meeting room. "Worry not, I have pants on now," he informed the girls. He stood with his arms crossed over his chest. "So what's our plan of attack for tonight?" he asked seriously. Hunting vampires and protecting an entire town wasn't something to be taken lightly.

Julia scanned the room in search for the werewolf but a party wasn't the best place to narrow down a werewolf, or anyone actually. Too many scents and way to many people made it harder to pin point the scent to just one person. The funny thing was, the werewolf stood right next to her. Now obviously they both sensed each other and Juli smirked when the werewolf girl moved away from her. Well, that's my cue. She thought to herself taking one more drink and made her way to the door.

She was sure there had to be another werewolf at the party and she wasn't about to fight them both on her own. She took out her phone and texted in the group chat -Leaving the party. Two werewolves...maybe more. Not going to risk it. Will call if I need help- With that she left the house and walked down the sidewalk. This was not a good thing, the girl had to have saw her face which meant if they encountered each other or even saw each other from afar she would know right away she was a vampire. Maybe she could just get as far from the party as possible and find a bar or something. Damn town. Damn werewolves. Pain in the ass of my existence. She thought to herself glancing behind her to be sure she wasn't being followed.

Her cup now in the sink and all the lights in the house besides the kitchen light was off. The text had come in from Gerald, she hadn't planned on what to do but she guessed it was better than staying home alone. She grabbed her jacket and made her way towards the center of town after locking her front door. It wasn't too late, they could always just sit in the diner which was usually open this late or a walk. Not much to do in a small town especially at this time of day or night.

It was a strange town, there were rarely any outsiders who came through and when they did they didn't stay long. Visitors have often said the town had a strange vibe to it and of course they were right. This place was full of werewolves and vampires fighting and on top of that the werewolves weren't on the same side when it came to each other. Not to mention the coven of witches that lived there also. It was much easier to hide being a witch than a werewolf or vampire. Witches don't have a scent, the only way you would know is if you caught them practicing.

It was good that she didn't live too far from the center of town, she didn't walk very far to find Gerald and when she did his back was to her. She snuck up behind him "Boo!" She screamed and poked his sides. "Don't you know it isn't safe to walk alone at night?"

Elisabeth chuckled internally as the Sheriff replied to her comment about walking with a buddy. She was definitely a formidable woman, but a gun wouldn't do much to bring down a werewolf or a vampire. It would hurt them, sure, but there was also the matter of actually hitting a wolf or vampire before it either got away or attacked you. Poor humans, they didn't know how bad they had it. There was a reason vampires and werewolves were called 'supernatural.'

The Sheriff asked Elisabeth what she had been reading lately, commenting that she had recently read Pride and Prejudice. "I just finished 1984," she replied. She thought it was a terrific book, even if the ending left a lot more to be desired. After Shane closed the menu and set it down, Elisabeth dutifully took it as her lone patron stated her order. The young woman would have guessed the Sheriff would order her usual, but you could never be sure. Sometimes her regular customers would order something completely different on a whim. She set the menu under the counter and listened carefully as the Sheriff replied to her inquiry.

"It's never easy being a Sheriff somewhere like this," the Sheriff said with a shrug. "There haven't been as many in the past month, but they're still showing up... A lot of people are thinking it's wild animal attacks. Coyotes and such... Let's just say I'm not so naive." Elisabeth had a bad feeling about what the Sheriff meant by this. Many humans believed in the supernatural, or at least the possibility of it. If the Sheriff believed that something supernatural was going on, then there would be no stopping her until she found out the truth behind the murders. It would be bad for all involved if a human could prove the existence of the vampires and werewolves in the town.

"I'll go get your food ready," Elisabeth told Shane. She disappeared back into the kitchen. She was the only one working right now, as the cook had left early due to "feeling ill." The young vampire suspected he just wanted to leave so he could go out or be with a lady friend. Either way, she was more than capable of making a cheeseburger and fries. Several minutes later, she was finished. She placed the burger and the fries into separate boxes, setting the box with the burger on top of the fry box. Elisabeth grabbed a plastic bag just in case the Sheriff wanted one. She returned to the front and placed the boxes on the counter before Shane. She placed the bag next to it.

"If you don't mind me asking, what did you mean earlier about not thinking these were wild animal attacks?" Elisabeth was honestly curious, from both a human and vampire scout standpoint. Humans were naturally curious creatures, so her question shouldn't be anything out of the norm for the Sheriff. As a vampire though, she wanted to know exactly how much Shane did or didn't know and what she thought was really going on in Cherry Blossom.

Gerald continued walking, oblivious to the fact that Vivian was now behind him. "Boo!" she screamed and poked his sides. He nearly jumped out of his skin and let out a very manly scream. "Don't you know it isn't safe to walk alone at night?" she asked him as he turned around to face her. His heart felt like it was going to pop out of his chest. Of course he knew it wasn't safe to walk alone at night, but nothing had ever happened to him. He figured as long as he stayed on the main streets he would be fine.

"Yeah, you never know when a wild Vivian will appear and scare the crap out of you," he replied, grinning. His heart rate had slowed down as the adrenaline subsided. "So what's the story, morning glory?" He grabbed her hand and twirled her around, as if the two had been dancing a few moments before instead of Gerald screaming like a little girl. He was hoping she had an idea of what to do, even if it was just walking around town. He was happy she had decided to meet up with him, not that he suspected she had been doing much else. He knew that she lived alone, which he thought must be quite, well, lonely. Gerald didn't mind alone time, but he was too social to just be by himself all day.

Not soon after yelling for Roman to join them, with pants, he walked into the meting room with a grin on his face. When they both turned to her asking what her plan was she straightened her posture in her seat. "We should split up. Serena, you should take half of our scouts and fighters and I will take the other half. Roman you'll be with me." It was a rough thought and it made sense, splitting up gave them a better advantage in searching for vamps. She wasn't too keen on making details of plans but she always had the final say especially when her Beta and Delta couldn't seem to ever agree.

She pushed hair out of her face and continued "We shouldn't need too many scouters or hunters, just enough for each group to be able to fight one or two vamps. Also if one group get's ambushed the other will have wolves who aren't injured." With that she leaned back in her chair waiting for feed back from the two people she trusted hoping there would be no fighting among them. However she knew there would be, there always was.

She could feel the wolf following her, inwardly she groaned. This wasn't going to end well. Either this girl called for backup or Julie would have to attack in order to stop being followed. She was sure she'd be able to take her but honestly she wasn't up for a fight. She hadn't fed in days and feeding gave her more strength than she already had. She continued walking as though the girl hadn't followed her but obviously she would know she was sensed.

It was an inward debt with herself, attack the girl or just run. If she attacked there would be a chance she'd get killed plus her compulsion didn't work much on werewolves, at least not long enough for her to get away and feed before leaving town. However if she ran, there was certain chance she'd get away alive but with no feeding. She sighed and readied herself, deciding to attack she hadn't had a good fight in weeks so why not?

Withing the next few seconds she turned and rushed towards the wolf pushing her forearm on the girls neck and pinning her against the nearest brick wall "Puppies should stay near their mommy. Puppies that wonder get killed." She said with a smirk. Maybe not the best decision but she really wanted the chance to feed.

Vivian couldn't help but laugh at his scream, she'd never heard him scream like that. She smiled at his comment and shrugged "Yea you never know when I'll show up." She grinned as he turned her in a circle. "There's a party not too far from here." She said making a suggestion, it was the only thing she could think of but she honestly didn't even want to go to the party. She wasn't the party type, nor did she like big crowds to begin with. "Or we could just walk and talk. I have to get somethings at the Herb shop but if you would rather go to the party that's fine too." She said with a smile. She hoped he would be fine with just walking and talking, she was better in those types of situations.

"I'll go get your food ready," Elisabeth said as she disappeared into the kitchen. Shane frowned slightly as she realized that not even a cook was there to help her. Shame. No one should work alone, especially not in a town like this. It wasn't long before the girl returned with her food and a bag. Shane smiled thankfully as she placed the boxes in the bag and shifted to her feet.

"If you don't mind me asking, what did you mean earlier about not thinking these were wild animal attacks?" Shane froze mid movement. She was hoping the comment would simply brush off Elisabeth's shoulder. Either that or the rumors about herself would have graced her ears. Although the girl was nice, she had to tread carefully around the subject and be careful of what she did and didn't say. "Half this town thinks I am unfit to be Sheriff... The other half could be easily swayed to their side if the wrong words slip from my mouth." Shane smiled weakly towards the girl. "I won't give stock to rumors. The answer will reveal itself when I have proof... Until then, it's only wild animal attacks."

Shane smirked slightly as she searched her jean pockets for money. Pulling out a $20, she placed it in Elisabeth's hand before closing the girl's hand and patting it with her own. "Keep the change." No doubt that was more than double the worth of the food. But working alone, having to cook, wait and clean yourself can't be easy. "Take care of yourself. And get home before it gets too late... If you need someone to walk with you, just give me a ring."

Shane waved before stepping out of the diner. She casually walked the streets as she ate her burger, keeping her eyes peeled for anything out of the ordinary. After finishing the sandwich, and now only picking at the fries she noticed a pair of familiar faces. Shane slowly made her way towards Vivian and Gerald. "How's everything going?" She said as she joined the pair with a warm smile. "I'm glad to see you both are smart enough not to travel alone." She chuckled softly, before holding out the box of fries towards them. "Fry?"

Willow had a permanent smirk upon her lips as she walked with her arm locked with Markus'. She had always loved fresh meat but something about her Phantom gave her chills... Clearly all the good kind. Will had already made a mental note to cross his path again very soon so that she'd have a chance to decode the mysterious wolf. He intrigued her in more ways than words could explain. Attraction for wolves was on a whole other level, especially because they could often sense when the feeling was mutual... And Will knew it was. Not many would stand toe to toe with her and not be intimidated or falter. But Levi stood his ground, and that enticed her.

Her mind was clearly elsewhere and it took her way too long to register the words Markus spoke to her.
"They're already about to start, and you know Lillian and her 'planning sessions' as well as I..." Willow smirked as she watched his face turn in disgust. He didn't have to explain his thoughts on the matter, she was more then knowledgable towards how he felt. And more often then not the feeling was mutual. "It might be more satisfying to interrupt in the middle of her beginning spiel, and unravel her for the rest of the night; then just coming fashionably late." She pursed her lips, reaching for her phone in the back pocket of her tight jeans to check the time. "As much as I love that devious mind of yours, I believe we may have no choice but to arrive fashionably late."

In a small town like Cherry Blossom, it took no time at all for them to reach the location of the meeting. Willow turned her head towards Markus, her eyes glistening in excitement. "Oh how I enjoy making an entrance." With that, Will released Markus' arm and walked straight for the entrance strutting almost as if to show off her sex appeal and dominance. She did not hesitate to kick open the door and waltz right into the room. Willow made her way right up to an empty seat beside a male wolf that she recalled being called Roman. Her devious grin never left her lips as she took a seat. "Hello handsome." She whispered towards the male beside her, shooting him a quick wink.

Willow leaned back in the seat, crossing her long slender legs while stretching her arm across the back of Roman's chair. She made sure she was comfortable as her gaze remained locked on Lillian's as she caught the end of her little introduction.
"... Just enough for each group to be able to fight one or two vamps. Also if one group get's ambushed the other will have wolves who aren't injured." Will couldn't help but laugh while shaking her head slightly. "Sacrifice the few to save the many, eh Lill?" She cocked her head to the side while pursing her lips. "Since when has it been a good idea to split up?... Haven't you seen any horror film... Ever?"

Willow looked over to Roman, her hand that rested upon the back of his chair, reaching up to twirl a lock of his hair. "By all means... Don't listen to me. After all, what could I possibly know?" She smiled towards her current male company before drifting her gaze over to Lillian. "All I know is... When I plan to do more than scouting, I would never risk my pack by splitting them up. A unit is more powerful than a pair." Willow's grin grew as she leaned forward, resting her free elbow upon her knee, her chin in the palm, while her other hand still grasped Roman's chair. "You better than anyone should know the effectiveness of a group with a strong will, Lillian... If not, you'd be the only Alpha."

Elisabeth listened and watched Shane observantly as she answered, noting her discomfort at the subject. "Half this town thinks I am unfit to be Sheriff... The other half could be easily swayed to their side if the wrong words slip from my mouth. I won't give stock to rumors. The answer will reveal itself when I have proof... Until then, it's only wild animal attacks." The vampire wouldn't push the subject anymore than it had to be. It confirmed her suspicions that the hushed whispers about the Sheriff's beliefs of the true cause of the attacks likely had credit to them, though rumors tended to get out of control in one way or another.

The Sheriff paid Elisabeth with a twenty dollar bill, telling her to keep the change as she closed the girl's hand and patted it. "Thank you," Elisabeth said earnestly. It was a hefty tip, but one she was grateful for. Part of the reason she had chosen to have a job in town was to scout for the coven. Another part was to maintain her "human" standing in town. And yet another was because she was hoping to fix up the house she lived in. It was a far cry from what it used to be and she would love to see it restored. That, and she would also like to have chairs that hadn't been broken by either Arthur or the one who had turned her.

"Take care of yourself. And get home before it gets too late... If you need someone to walk with you, just give me a ring." The Sheriff left the cafe then, heading out to patrol the town. Elisabeth chuckled a bit, as the Sheriff didn't know how capable the girl was of protecting herself. If enhanced sense, speed, and strength was't enough to save her, she could always throw a car at her opponent. Still, it was nice of the Sheriff to offer.

Confident that no more customers would show up, she quickly checked to make sure everything was clean and stowed. After doing this, she sent a text to Arthur. I think there's a new vampire in town. I don't know where he went though. Got bogged down by the Sheriff. I'll check around town before heading home. She decided to omit learning that the Sheriff was most likely suspicious of the supernatural activity in town. That was information best saved for a meeting in person. Plus, depending on where he was he might throw a fit and destroy something or someone.

Elisabeth removed her apron and hung it up. She looked out of the cafe window. Seeing nobody, she looked at her jacket across the room on the coat stand. As soon as she thought about it, the jacket removed itself from the stand and flew over to her as if someone had tossed it. She quickly put it on and looked out the window again, making sure nobody had seen her use her ability. Every now and then she got somewhat lazy, plus it wasn't a bad idea to practice using your ability. The vampire left the cafe and locked the front door. She looked around, wondering which way she should go. She could follow the scent of the other vampire, but his trail had dissipated in the time since they two had seen each other. Likewise, she could just wander the town in hopes of finding a potential meal or any of the werewolves. If she did find a werewolf and was able to remain undetected by it, which wasn't the easiest to do considering their enhanced senses, she would let the rest of the coven know where it was. Caution was always the best choice when it came to werewolves, especially at night when they were apt to hunt the vampires.

In the end, she chose to follow in the path of Nathaniel. She might as well try to figure out who he was and what his business in Cherry Blossom was. If she found a meal or a lone werewolf along the way, it would make the trip even more worthwhile.

Gerald blushed a bit when Vivian laughed at his scream. He knew his scream was rather... high pitched when he was surprised, but it was still embarrassing, as he'd somehow managed never to scream that way in front of his friend before. However, his pride quickly recovered and he grinned back at her. "There's a party not too far from here," she suggested. "Or we could just walk and talk. I have to get somethings at the Herb shop but if you would rather go to the party that's fine too."

Gerald didn't mind parties, but he knew Vivian wasn't a fan of them. If he really wanted to go to a party he would have gone there earlier, but he wanted to hang out with one of his best friends. "Walking and talking sounds good to me," he replied, looking at her. "Though I've gotta ask: what do you need from the herb shop?" He guessed that she was referring to the shop owned and managed by the Lagrange family. He'd been there a couple of times with his mom, but herbs really weren't his thing.

Sheriff Dawson seemed to appear out of nowhere as Gerald turned to look forward. He stifled another scream but still jumped a bit. "How's everything going?" the Sheriff asked politely. "Well, you're the second person to give me a minor heart attack in the past few minutes, but I'll be ok," he replied as his heart beat calmed down. He smiled to show there were no hard feelings. The Sheriff was a nice enough lady and she did the best she could to keep the town safe.

"I'm glad to see you both are smart enough not to travel alone." Gerald declined to comment that until a couple of minutes ago he had been walking alone. He didn't want or need a lecture from the Sheriff, though he understood her the root of concern. She offered out a box of fries to them. "Fry?" Gerald happily accepted, taking a handful. "Thanks Sheriff Dawson," he said before eating one.

Roman plopped down in his chair, resting the urge to swivel in it. He listened as Lillian laid out the plan for tonight's hunt. They would split the pack in half, with Serena leading one half and Lillian and Roman the other. It sounded like a good plan to him. The less time he had to spend with Serena, the better.

Roman opened his mouth to make a quip, but was promptly stopped by the sound of the door being kicked open behind him. He didn't need to swivel his chair to know that Willow, aka the Royal Bitch, had arrived. He thought it was a suiting name for her, in the literal definition of the word and the more insulting one. Willow took a seat next to Roman. He glared at her, though that did nothing to stop her grinning. "Hello handsome," she cooed. Roman growled in return, knowing that it wasn't much of a compliment coming from her. Pretty much any guy could have received the same greeting from her, regardless of his appearance.

As Lillian finished speaking, Willow set her arm across the back of his chair. He ignored it. Seduction would get her nowhere with him. He refrained rom glancing at his friend, Markus, who had dutifully interrupted the meeting along with the other Alpha. Roman wasn't sure what had compelled Markus to join Willow's pack. He'd never asked, as he didn't want their friendship to feel any tension because of it. Whatever the case, Roman as more focused on directing his distaste for the other pack at the Alpha herself.

"Sacrifice the few to save the many, eh Lill? Since when has it been a good idea to split up?... Haven't you seen any horror film... Ever?" Willow chimed into the conversation as if she actually had a place in their pack. "Well, we could always sacrifice you and your pet. I hear vampires like the taste of werewolf blood." Roman commented, though he meant no ill will towards Markus. He decided not to comment on Willow's second remark.

The Royal Bitch proceeded to twirl a lock of his hair, which he again ignored. As much as he wanted to transform and bite her hand clean off, he was restraining himself for Lillian's sake. However, too much more of her crap and he might have to. "By all means... Don't listen to me. After all, what could I possibly know?" She shot Roman a smile, which he responded to with a snarl. "All I know is... When I plan to do more than scouting, I would never risk my pack by splitting them up. A unit is more powerful than a pair. You better than anyone should know the effectiveness of a group with a strong will, Lillian... If not, you'd be the only Alpha." Roman stood swiftly, looking down at the still seated Willow. "You should take your own advice then," he growled at the other alpha. After all, she had only shown up with one other wolf. Two to three weren't the best or the worst odds ever, but they were still favourable to the group of three. He glanced at Lillian before looking back at Willow, as he was ready to strangle her.

"Walking and talking sounds good to me," he replied, looking at her. "Though I've gotta ask: what do you need from the herb shop?" She smiled, relieved that she wouldn't have to deal with an over populated house. "Herbs" She said with a smirk, she knew he wanted specifics but it was hard for her to explain what she'd need them for without giving herself up. She'd never had to explain it before and it was the only thing she wasn't prepared for. It couldn't be such a bad thing since there was a shop dedicated just for herbs in town. She saw Gerald jump a little as the Sheriff appeared in front of him and she couldn't help but smile.

"Everything is great! We were just headed to the herb shop. She chimed in linking her arm with Gerald's. "I'm glad to see you both are smart enough not to travel alone." Vivian nodded "Of course not, but Gerald was out alone before we met up here. Don't worry though, I thought him a lesson." She said with a smirk. She declined the offer of fries, she wasn't much for fried foods.

Before she'd even finished she saw Willow enter the room followed by Markus. How she didn't sense them come in was beyond her. "Sacrifice the few to save the many, eh Lill?" Lilly growled and stood out of her seat. "Since when has it been a good idea to split up?... Haven't you seen any horror film... Ever?" Inside she wanted to attack but her mind knew that wouldn't be at all smart. It would start a useless battle, not to mention Willow was hundreds of years older then the rest of them. "Well, we could always sacrifice you and your pet. I hear vampires like the taste of werewolf blood." Roman spoke up before Lillian could open her mouth to defend her plans.

Willow proceeded to touch Roman's hair, playing with it. "By all means... Don't listen to me. After all, what could I possibly know?" She glanced at Roman, who didn't seem to happy either. "All I know is... When I plan to do more than scouting, I would never risk my pack by splitting them up. A unit is more powerful than a pair. You better than anyone should know the effectiveness of a group with a strong will, Lillian... If not, you'd be the only Alpha." Obviously that was more than Roman could handle silently before he stood "You should take your own advice then"

Finally Markus spoke, “Must simple observations and idle chit-chat really delve into the threat of violence?” Lillian turned to him "Roman! Sit down", She said without looking away from the pair "I suggest you and your so-called Alpha leave our territory. A true, respectable Alpha would never barge into another Alpha's territory without permission and especially not try and provoke a fight." She growled at Willow. She'd had enough of this bitch provoking her and making her question her own actions. She'd crossed their territory more times than Lillian could count.

“And vampires shouldn’t be anywhere at all.” Julie gave her a fake hurt look but smirked "Too bad." Lucky for the wolf Julie hadn't planned past pinning her. Within the next few seconds the girl was out of her grasp and was running in the opposite direction. Julie had never actually seen a werewolf transform from human to wolf. She had to admit it was pretty impressive. She didn't have the energy to chase her down and kill her. It was time to find a new target, maybe she'd stop by the diner.

She began walking towards the diner slowly. Everyone she past on the street seemed to be paired with someone else. Not that she minded a two course meal it was just too much of a job for her at the moment. She'd have to kill the first quickly then chase down the second. Not to mention finding a discrete place to feed. [i]This day is getting more and more annoying by the second.[i] When she got to the diner she tried to open the door but it was locked. "Damn it! She said out loud. Lucky for her someone heard her, "Yea, she closed up about five minutes before you got here. I was coming up to get something to eat too but I saw her lock the door." Julie turned and smiled at the man "Late night snack?" she asked The man nodded "Yea, you wouldn't happen to know another place would ya?" Julie smiled "Sure I do, and I know a short cut." She replied walking down the street a few more feet before turning down an alley.

There was no way this guy was from around here. He'd know that this was the only diner that opened later than other restaurants. She lead him down the alley, far enough so they wouldn't be seen by anyone on the street but close enough for her to make a quick exit. Five minutes later she felt refreshed. She walked out of the alley and down the street whipping extra blood off of her face. It takes awhile for a vampire to learn how not to make a mess on themselves while feeding but for Julia it was easy.

"Well, you're the second person to give me a minor heart attack in the past few minutes, but I'll be ok." Gerald replied as Shane joined the pair. She laughed softly, returning his smile while using her free hand to pat on his shoulder. "Sorry... Didn't realize you were so easy to scare." Vivian caught the Sheriff's attention next as she spoke, linking arms with Gerald. "Everything is great! We were just headed to the herb shop." Shane's smile grew. She appreciated those in town who didn't think she was crazy or run in the other direction when she approached. "You'll have to let me know how it is. I've been meaning to stop by and see if they have insence or anything but... Cop duties." She shrugged her shoulders while laughing softly.

"Of course not, but Gerald was out alone before we met up here. Don't worry though, I thought him a lesson." Shane couldn't help but laugh at Vivian's response to her comment about them traveling the town together. She simply rolled her eyes. She knew Gerald knew better, but at least he got Viv to meet up with him. Shane snorted slightly when he took a handful of fries. "Thanks Sheriff" Gerald said followed by Viv politely declining. "I don't blame you... It's horrible for you. But I never have time to actually get a decent meal in a town like this."

With that Shane lightly patted Vivian's shoulder and nodded her head towards Gerald. "Have fun herb shopping. Stay safe and you have my number if you need me." She never wanted to intrude on someone's plans or anything. So she took her leave before making it awkward with her presence. It was always hard being Sheriff because most people walked on eggshells around her. They were always either freaked by her strange beliefs about the town or worried she'd arrest them at the drop of a hat. Sheriff was no doubt a lonely job, but someone had to do it.

"Well, we could always sacrifice you and your pet. I hear vampires like the taste of werewolf blood." How rude. Willow thought to herself. It was one thing for someone to threaten her. She didn't care about threats on her own life but gearing it towards her pack and especially her Beta made her skin crawl. To the best of her knowledge Roman and Markus were friends. But that was definitely not a way to treat someone you call a friend. The words caused her to snap her hand away from the wolf, but left her gaze strong and intent on the pup.

Roman quickly shot up from his seat after her second comment.
"You should take your own advice then." Will quickly jumped to her feet, meeting Roman's gaze as she whispered beneath a growl. “You’re lucky I respect my Beta…. Because if not, I’d be wiping your entrails from the underside of my boots.” She loved how simple observations seemed to turn to threatening gestures from the other side. Typical. “Must simple observations and idle chit-chat really delve into the threat of violence?”

Lillian finally got her chance to speak, starting it off by yelling at her inferior pup and telling him to sit down, before turning her attention towards Will. "I suggest you and your so-called Alpha leave our territory. A true, respectable Alpha would never barge into another Alpha's territory without permission and especially not try and provoke a fight." Willow put up her hands innocently. "If I wanted a fight... I would have came with more back up." She then dropped her hands before taking a step towards Lill. "And you know damn well that this isn't your territory. We share Cherry Blossom... Or did you forget that?"

Willow took a step back as she realized the comment about being a 'respectable alpha.' She clicked her tongue to the roof of her mouth before biting on her bottom lip and nodding her head. "Maybe I'm not a respectable Alpha..." She said in a quiet, yet serious tone. "You all think I'm a bitch... But at least I'm not uptight, and I do not dictate over my pack." Will shrugged her shoulders as she walked back over towards Markus.

Pivoting on her heels she decided to leave on a final note.
"There will come a day Lill... Where you'll need our help. With us divided more of them will come, and you know I'm right." Will pointed at Lillian as she spoke. "Hate me all you want because in the end it's going to hurt you not me." Willow was the oldest wolf there, and she knew Lillian knew she was speaking truth. Sure, Will went there to ruffle feathers but there are more motives than just pissing off the other Alpha. And the advice she gave she meant whole heartedly.

With that Willow walked around her Beta and towards the door. She held it open for Markus as she walked through. "Don't come crying to me Lillian when half of your pack is dead because you didn't take my advice." Will didn't wait to see if Markus was following because if she knew he would be. After awhile of walking in silence, she slowed her pace so that she was in tune with him and looked towards him. "Who would have thought the day would come where they'd be the one throwing out the threats?" She then chuckled, shrugging her shoulders innocently. "Ok well threatening first... I simply gave advice and then all hell broke loose." She rolled her eyes. If there was ever a doubt in her mind why she left that pack, that instance right there was more than enough to reassure her.

Elisabeth walked at a steady pace, so as not to seem in a hurry to get anywhere. Besides, there really was no hurry. She suspected she would come across the new vampire in due time, whether it be tonight or tomorrow. It wasn't very hard to find someone in Cherry Blossom, especially when they weren't trying to hide. His trail wasn't clear at first, but as she meandered around the streets she picked up on it. She continued along, his scent beginning to grow stronger as she approached the hotel.

She lifted her gaze from the sidewalks to the hotel as she continued down the street. The bright lights surrounded it, helping her to catch sight of the vampire and a human. She doubted either could see her given the glare of the lights. Likewise, she wouldn't have been able to see them had it not been for the lights. Her pace quickened to a brisk walk, so as to allow the other vampire to prepare himself and the human to leave. As she guessed, the human removed himself from the conversation the two appeared to be having. The vampire stayed put.

Elisabeth could now see him clearly as she approached. He looked young, about twenty or so should he be alive. She couldn't help but smile at the thought of having a member of the coven closer to her age. Rin had been 21 when she was turned, but the two years made all the difference. She could legally drink and was fully considered to be an adult. Elisabeth would never reach that age.

The other vampire left his post by the railing, entering his room. Elisabeth suspected that she was finally close enough for him to have seen her. She continued, glancing around. There were no humans in sight. The young vampire finally reached the hotel. She gingerly climbed the stairs, not wanting them to made any loud noises. Once at the top, she found an open door into Nathaniel's room. She tried to mentally prepare herself for whatever the conversation might hold. This was the first time she'd encountered a lone vampire since her time at Cherry Blossom. There had been a few others who'd joined in the past few years, but it was never her who went to meet them as they preferred staying in the woods until they knew they had the full protection of the coven. Then they would feel free to go into the town.

Come what may, Elisabeth thought as she entered the room. All of the lights were on, as if to welcome her. The room seemed overcrowded with furniture, however the functional bed and chairs were a welcome sight in comparison to her own home. Nathaniel sat in one of two offices chairs, the other a good distance away from him. "Good Evening...?" he greeted her. She noted his tone of voice. He was likely cautious of her, given that he was on the turf of a coven he didn't belong to. But at the same time he was genuinely welcoming her to the room.

"Good evening," she said in response as she took a seat in the other office chair. She quickly examined him. He seemed well mannered-- the opposite of Arthur. A soft smile crossed her lips as she began speaking. She had no ill will towards the other vampire and she wanted him to know that. She was merely curious as to he was and what he was doing in Cherry Blossom. "My name is Elisabeth. I'm part of Arthur's coven as I'm sure you have surmised." She paused wondering how to go about asking why he was here. "May I ask what has brought you to Cherry Blossom?" Despite wanting to be polite, she felt that her question still came off as being too direct. However, she was curious and was not in the mood for small talk.

Gerald cringed a bit as Vivian mentioned that he had been walking alone. He really didn't want to hear a lecture from Sheriff Dawson about why he should walk with someone else. Thankfully, she didn't give him that lecture, opting to talk about the herb shop with Vivian. He really had no interest in herbs (unless they were on his food), but he would still accompany Vivian nonetheless.

He felt a bit bad for having eaten so many fries, but he was hungry for something other than theater popcorn. The Sheriff bi them good luck with herb shopping, reminding them that they had her number should they get into any trouble. Gerald didn't see how the two could possibly get into trouble while going to the herb shop. "Have a good night Sheriff!" he called after her.

Gerald looked back at his friend. "So, to the herb shop then? You'll have to lead the way, I have no idea where we're going," he admitted. He trusted that Vivian knew where she was going. Worst case scenario they use Google Maps or something to find it.

“You’re lucky I respect my Beta…. Because if not, I’d be wiping your entrails from the underside of my boots,” Willow commented. Roman snarled in response, but made no attempt to move toward or away from her. He'd probably lose in a fight against Willow, but he'd fight till the very end.

“Must simple observations and idle chit-chat really delve into the threat of violence?” Markus commented. Roman felt that this was directed towards him, but he had to admit his childhood friend was right. There was no sense in violence at the moment, though he never minded a good fight. He took a deep breath and let out a sigh. "Roman! Sit down" Lillian commanded him shortly after Markus spoke. He rolled his eyes. Though he really didn't want to sit next to the Royal Bitch, there were no other chairs. He could sit on the ground, but he'd only look like a moody child put into time out then. Alternatively he could sit on the table, but that didn't seem like a very good option. He sat back down his chair, rolling it out of Willow's reach so that she wouldn't start touching him again.

He sat quietly as Lillian told Willow to leave. Willow in response had quite a few remarks about both of the packs and their respective alphas. Oh, pack politics. He never like them, but the pack needed a hierarchy lest they have an anarchy. Roman was somewhat surprised the coven had a hierarchy given that Arthur was the leader. He continued to stay quiet as Willow spoke, though he would love to throw in his thoughts. However, he felt that Lillian could handle herself well enough and that any more words or actions from Roman would lead her to take her anger out on him.

After Willow and Markus left, Roman looked at his friend. He opened his mouth to speak, but then closed it. He had enough sense to know there was truth in Willow's words, especially about the threat to both packs regarding the vampires. Perhaps someday they would team up to take out the coven, but today was not that day. He leaned back in his chair and let out a sigh as he ran his fingers through his hair. This night was not going well for him.

Lilly was getting sick of Willow, more times then not she was just being a bitch but this time Lillian knew she was right. They wouldn't get rid of the vamps for good unless they were a whole pack again. However that wouldn't happen, that would only start another fight over the Alpha position. Willow was much older than most wolves, being a former elder and all was her advantage. Lilly had worked hard to be Alpha, to earn respect and she'd be damned if she would live under an Alpha who relentlessly reminded her of the fact that she was a runt and undermined her.

She tossed her chair into the wall closest to her "She constantly does this to me. Throwing salt on wounds I thought I closed a long time ago, She yelled referring to her being a runt. It was hard for her even now to control her pack, which was why she dictated so much over her pack. She was strict to form respect for her. "Roman, you are in charge. Do not go on the hunt without me. I'm going for a run. She said and walked out the room before anything else could be said.

Once outside she took off shifting as she went. Running was one of the only things that could calm her down and help clear her head. The wind in her fur felt so freeing from her worries, sometimes she wished she could stay a wolf forever but her pack needed her.

"Goodnight Sheriff! Vivian smiled and waved. The sheriff was great at her job but in this town she was in over her head. Human vs vampire wasn't a fair match and everyone knew it. "So, to the herb shop then? You'll have to lead the way, I have no idea where we're going," She smiled at him and nodded, she'd almost forgot where they were going. [colro=357A61]"I'll lead the way.[ She joked and began walking down the sidewalk. She'd been in the herb shop so many times Meredith probably knows what she would need without asking.

It was time to go home, dog smell was beginning to fill the streets and it wasn't safe. Not to mention she'd been out for way to long. The wolves had to have sensed her and may have been on the hunt by now. At least she was able to get herself fed before the night was over, which made her wonder how others in the coven had done in their hunt. Most of the other's brought the humans back to the main house for the rest of the coven who were unsuccessful but Julia didn't much care. If you can't hunt for yourself tough shit, it was the same for her as well. If she couldn't hunt for herself she just wouldn't eat until she was successful.

Her apartment was outside town lines, where the wolves couldn't get to them. She would like to live in town but they would have to wait until the wolves killed each other off. It took a while to get back home but she made it. She shut her curtains, uncertain as to why she'd opened them int he first place and jumped right into bed.

“If I’m allowed to be so frank, it is a pleasure, Elisabeth, and my name is Searus, Nathaniel,” the other vampire introduced himself. She was thankful that he was quite civil in his speech, a contrast to how Arthur could be.

“I’m here in Cherry Blossom looking to join Arthur’s coven. One that I hope won’t be needing or looking to use my Revenant abilities anytime soon.” Elisabeth couldn't help but be intrigued as Nathaniel decided to share that he was a gifted vampire such as herself. Though she was curious as to what sort of ability he possessed-- given that those in the coven had quite a variety of them-- she did not ask. It was Arthur's right to know first what ability this other vampire possessed. She could always ask him a later time should he be accepted into the coven.

She remained quiet as he continued, telling her of his job at the hospital and promising to uphold the codes by which vampires were supposed to live. Elisabeth hadn't been expecting him to mention any of these things, but didn't mind that he did. She wondered briefly what it must be like to work in a hospital when you fed on blood, but her thoughts of this disappeared as Nathaniel asked her a question. “Is there anything else you’d want to know?”

Elisabeth shook her head before answering orally. "No, what you've told me will suffice. I'll let Arthur know that you wish to be a part of the coven." She rose from her seat, preparing to leave after their brief conversation. "He'll come by here tomorrow night to speak with you." Truthfully, she couldn't actually promise that Arthur would do that. He might have his own plans and want to sit in a pub all day instead of meeting Nathaniel. However, something told Elisabeth that she could get Arthur to stop drinking or fighting long enough to let the new vampire into the coven. The coven leader and its youngest member were quite close, having a sibling like relationship.

"Goodnight Nathaniel," Elisabeth said with a kind smile as she left the room. She closed the door gently behind herself before departing the town in favour of her home in the woods.

"I'll lead the way," Vivian joked. Gerald moved his arms to side, gesturing for her to lead the way before following after her. He again wondered what she could need from the herb shop, but figured she was probably getting herbs for on food or tea.

Did they sell tea at herb shops? He really didn't know. If they did, he'd have to remember which kind she got so he could buy it for her birthday. He knew she liked tea, so it seemed like a good gift to him. Tea and a book-- yes, that would be a good combination! He smiled to himself as they continued to walk, thinking of how happy his friend would be when she eventually received these presents that he had yet to purchase.

Roman remained quiet as his friend spoke, throwing her chair against the wall. He cringed a bit, knowing that he would be the one to fix any damages done. "Roman, you are in charge. Do not go on the hunt without me. I'm going for a run." She abruptly left before the Beta or the Delta could ask her if she'd misspoken. Truthfully, the young man thought Lillian had said the wrong name in her distress. He didn't see any reason why he should be in charge over Serena.

He looked over at Serena, who had been looking at him but by chance turned away almost immediately after he'd looked at her. “I can’t deal with any shit from you right now Roman. I’ll be upstairs, call me when Lillian gets back.” Serena soon left the room as well, leaving poor Roman to pick up the pieces of what had just happened.

"I wasn't going to say anything," he mumbled to himself, looking at the fallen chair across the table from him. The chair itself had managed to stay intact, though it might be unsafe to actually sit in. The wall had a nice dent in it from where the chair had struck it. He would deal with the wall later. He crossed the room and righted the chair, switching it with the one Willow had sat herself down in. This way, should the chair end up collapsing when someone sat in it, it wouldn't be him, Serena, or Lillian. Maybe it would collapse when Willow sat on it the next time she decided to barge in on their meeting.

With the meeting room looking presentable, Roman left and sat in the living room. All he could do now was wait for members of the pack to turn up and for Lillian to come back. It probably wouldn't be of any use to try an talk to Serena at the moment, given that she seemed angry at him. He sighed. I could use a beer.

Events for the next two days

Arthur met with Nathaniel and after a couple of hours of getting to know the youngster (history and all) he was accepted into the Coven. He isn't too sure what the boy's position will be but he will be assigned it soon.
Arthur senses witches in town and has given Elisabeth the job of finding them, with the help of Julia if needed.

Lillian's pack went on their hunt and as Willow had said some of her hunter's were hurt. Thankfully no one was bitten. Lillian is contemplating what Willow said about the two packs having to join together again to rid the town of vampires however she refuses to take orders from Willow.

Vivian and the coven grow stronger without realizing they were being sensed by Arthur. Vivian knows something big is about to happen but isn't sure what, sh'e afraid she must reveal the coven to the wolves sooner than expected.

Four bodies have been found in ally ways, three female and one male. All look as if they've been attacked by animals but they are drained of blood. Religious people think demons. Police think animals. Everyone else think there may be a cult forming.

Tonight was one of the nights where Elisabeth did not have to close the cafe. Thus, she left as the sun began its descent. Arthur had assigned her a Julia to search for witches in the town. How he knew there were witches at all was beyond her and she even considered the possibility he'd just been too drunk and thought he sensed witches. It wouldn't be beyond him. But he was the coven leader and what he said (usually) was what was done. So now the young vampire was tasked with finding these mysterious witches and also tasked with trying to get along with Julia while doing it.

The two rarely saw eye to eye on things, but nonetheless Elisabeth respected her as she was Elisabeth's elder. The young vampire let out a sigh as she walked. She did not own any mode of transportation other than her own two feet (unless you counted her telekinetic abilities, though they were unacceptable to use in most cases). Though her parents had taught her the basics of driving, she hadn't lived long enough to put what she learned into action. She wasn't confident in her ability to drive and thus never bothered to try. A bicycle wasn't a bad option, but truthfully she didn't mind just walking everywhere. It was relaxing to her.

Elisabeth arrived at Julia's home and knocked on her door. "Julia?" she called to the other vampire. She highly doubted that the blonde was at her job right now, given that she had coven tasks to attend to.

As she waited for a response, Elisabeth briefly thought about what the pair would do. How did one find a witch? She had been told that witches looked and smelled like humans and thus finding them using appearance or scent would be impossible. Unless they stumbled upon one casting a spell or something she highly doubted the process would be easy. Plus, how would one incapacitate a witch? Were they allergic to anything? Were their bodies as fragile as humans? Elisabeth had absolutely no idea, as she'd only met one witch in her sixty-two years of being on this earth. The witch she had met was a lovely young woman who had briefly hosted Elisabeth and the one who turned her while they were traveling to Cherry Blossom. Based on this experience, Elisabeth held no ill will towards witches though she knew that not every witch was bound to be nice.

Gerald had enjoyed a day of reading in the library. There really was nothing else for him to do considering he was still looking for a job and so he spent his days indulging in reading, movies, video games, and being with friends. It was enjoyable, but he knew he really needed to get a job. He was only 20, but it wasn't like he was a kid anymore. He had responsibilities and one of them was to have an income.

Resisting the urge to put his feet up on the table, he leaned back on his chair until only the back two legs touched the ground. He'd heard countless warnings from teachers, friends, and parents not to lean back so far, but he still did it nonetheless. It was a habit of his. He flipped to the next page of the book.

Gerald had always been able to read quickly. This was his second book for the day and he was three chapters from the end. Fifty-three more pages and he would be done with it. Once that happened he had no specific plans, though he might go somewhere to eat before returning home. Maybe he'd ask Vivian if she wanted to go to dinner with him. He knew she lived alone and thought she must get lonely.

Roman climbed out of his car, closing the door and locking it once he was out of it. It was no Ferrari, but at least it wasn't a complete piece of crap like his last car. He walked around it and proceeded up to Serena's house. He wouldn't normally stop by, but given the less than spectacular results of the hunt a couple of days ago, he wanted to pay her a visit. She and a few other wolves had been injured during the hunt, but thankfully no one was killed or seriously injured. He was genuinely concerned about her well being (though he wouldn't admit because he was a stubborn dog), as it would be no good to have a dead Beta. He was sure the Royal Bitch would have a field day if that happened. So while he was her to make sure she was healing, he was also here for Lillian's sake.

Both he and Serena knew how tense Lillian was now a days, no doubt the result of being an Alpha. To have a and hunt on the same night as an intrusion from Willow were dual stress factors Lillian didn't need. Thus, Roman was going to suggest to Serena that her two best friends, despite their differences, should take her on a night out. He wasn't sure if Serena would agree and even if she did there was the problem of getting Lillian to agree as well. But the Delta would be taking one hurdle at a time.

However, he was in for a surprise upon reaching her front door. A note, closed, was taped to the door. Before he even processed what he was doing, Roman ripped the note from the door in one swift motion. He did not hesitate to open it, though in the back of his mind he knew it definitely wasn't intended for him and thus was not his to read. But his impulse had taken over and he found himself reading Serena's letter to Lillian.

Dear Lily,
I know that this isn't going to mean much but I'm really sorry. I truly wish that I didn't have to leave but it's the only way to keep everyone safe. I don't know how long I'll be gone but I know you'll be in good hands with Roman as your Beta. Please don't be mad, I can't tell you where I'm going or why I'm leaving but I hope I can come back soon. I know you'll want to but please don't come after me, I don't want you getting caught up in this. Lastly, I know you're about to start pacing so sit the fuck down.
With Love, Serena

Well shit. Roman was about to start pacing at this point, panic filling his mind. What had caused Serena to just pack up and leave like this? What was this threat she was scared of telling Lillian about? How long had she been gone? Resisting the urge to pace or to destroy something, he let out a deep sigh to clear his mind.

There was no way he was telling Lillian about the note... yet. She had mentioned something about a new wolf in town and looking to recruit him before Willow did. If that was the case, she was probably busy right now and wouldn't appreciate him barging in on whatever conversation she was having. So for now, as far as his friend knew, he was just going about his own business. He would only alert her to the situation if he couldn't find Serena.

With that being said, Roman prayed to whatever god there may be out there that Serena was still lingering around town. While he could have tracked her scent, it would be somewhat difficult since she had taken her car. After getting back into his own car, he pulled out his phone to text her. His fingers hovered over the keyboard as he thought about how he should word his text. After a few moments of thought he sent her a text: Hey, where are you? I have food. It was casual enough and not terribly odd for him to offer food to any of the other wolves. Everyone loved food and everyone had to eat food-- it was a good conversation starter. Plus he always bought more food than he actually needed and didn't mind giving what he didn't need to others in the pack.

Elisabeth acknowledged Julia's words, but said nothing, content to watch the sun as the last bands of colour began to disappear from the sky. Once he two arrived at the herb shop, she recognized the smell of the wolf that owned it. She knew that the wolf was in Willow's pack, but she had rarely encountered her before. The vampire wondered what it was like to be an herbalist. Perhaps if she was still alive the two could have discussed the wonders of natural medicines, but it was far from a possibility now.

The shop was closed, likely a result of the upcoming full moon. Ah yes, the lovely time of the months where wolves were dominated by their true selves. It was also the one night of the month that Elisabeth generally stayed in town. Trying to reach her house in the woods was unlikely to be successful with the packs out and about, hiding amongst the trees and waiting to descend on her like flies on a corpse. It was not a situation she wanted to be in if she could help it.

"Closed. Maybe she has some sort of record of who shops here, if we can get inside without being detected." The younger vampire was about to offer to use her ability to disrupt any security cameras and to open the door when another young woman approached the shop. Elisabeth observed her closely, wondering if she was a witch. Unlike Julia, she could just barely sense anything odd coming from her energy. Perhaps it was her lack of interaction with witches or of her relatively young age. Either way, she was having a difficult time deciding if this woman was a witch or not.

Julia and the other woman exchanged a brief, casual conversation before Julia nudged Elisabeth. Elisabeth had already gotten the hint, but nonetheless remained silent. One question and answer later and the vampires had found a witch. Julia commented on the easiness of it after knocking out the poor woman. "Yes, quite easy," Elisabeth commented. "But if karma has anything to do with in, we'll be in deep trouble soon as well." She was worried that having such ease finding a witch meant eminent difficulty in the future, perhaps even so soon as tonight. Lady Luck might have been on their side this time, but instant good luck came to very few.

"Alright, time to take her to Arthur." Elisabeth glanced around. No one had seen them, but there was still the possibility of humans seeing them since they were in a fairly busy part of town. Carrying the witch was an option, but would likely draw suspicion as few would expect either Julia or Elisabeth to be able to carry someone with such ease. Lifting the slumped woman off of the ground, the vampire slung the witch's limp arm around her shoulders, as if supporting a drunken friend who needed help walking. Elisabeth looked the woman over from head to toe, helping her to picture exact what she wanted the woman's body to do. Envisioning the witch with her head held up-- enough that she seemed conscious but not enough to reveal her closed eyes-- the woman's head adjusted itself as so. With that, Elisabeth began to walk, her telekinetic abilities allowing her to move the woman's feet along with her own. "This should keep us from looking suspicious, but I'd prefer we move quickly. I don't want to have my energy too low with the full moon lurking," she told her companion before starting to walk down the street.

Gerald finished the last of his meal and glanced at outside. It was nearly dark, meaning he should probably make his way home before anything bad happened to him. However, his naivety about the supernatural and confidence in his ability to keep himself out of trouble overshadowed the rule that most people in town abided by. Nevertheless, he wasn't sure he wanted to be caught by the Sheriff or Vivian for that matter if he was out walking alone. Running into either would likely spur a speech about how it isn't safe be alone after dark.

Handing his plate to the waitress and waiting for his check, Gerald starting drumming on the table top with his hands. He glanced around the cafe, which was barren of patrons save for himself and a man who he knew lived in the apartment above. Looking back at the table in front of him, he saw the small pile of books he'd loaned from the library. Two were for him and the other for Vivian.

Hey, I got a book from the library for you. I can give it to you whenever. He shot Vivian a quick text before the waitress returned with his check.

"What is it Roman? Just tell me what's going on?" Roman let go of Lillian as he reached into his pocket, pulling out the letter he'd found on Serena's door. "I stopped by Serena's house not too long ago. I was going to talk to her about..." He paused briefly as he remembered that he'd wished to talk to the Beta about doing something for Lillian. He still wanted to treat her to a night out and have it be a surprise, however likely or unlikely it was at this point. "Nevermind, that's not important. I went to her house and found this."

He extended the folded up note to her, declining to share that he had read despite it clearly being intended for the Alpha. However, it was fairly obvious he had read it and would be even more obvious once Lillian read the note. Roman could only hope she wouldn't completely lose control. The full moon was near, raising the tension.

Lilliy saw he'd pulled something out of his pocket as he explained, "I stopped by Serena's house not too long ago. I was going to talk to her about..." He paused then added, "Nevermind, that's not important. I went to her house and found this." while handing her the paper he pulled out of his pocket. She took the note and looked at him skeptical but opened the note anyway.

She read it through then read it again as if she didn't understand it the first time. How was this possible? They had just crossed paths, why would she leave like this? She looked up from the note "What the hell is this, Roman? Is this for real? This isn't some type of joke or something?" She asked. The writing did look like Serena's and the tone of the message sounded like something Serena would say butt she couldn't believe this was from her Beta. She didn't show any signs of anger due to the fact that she had just seen Serena and didn't believe Serena, of all people, would leave town with only a note with no explanation whatsoever.

She watched as he took the book from the table and read the information on the back. It wasn't a witch type book, that would look weird but he seemed interested in it. He put the book back where he picked it up from “Well, if you ever need somebody to come and eat your food, I’m there.” She nodded. She knew he wasn't the type to get in the middle of werewolf and vampire business but if he ever offered to help she knew it was genuine. Just as she was going to thank him her phone buzzed. She sighed and looked at it, Gerald. She smiled and opened the text Hey, I got a book from the library for you. I can give it to you whenever. She smiled and moved her fingers over the keyboard
To Gerald:
Thanks :) I'm at the diner with a friend. I can meet up with you after?

She put the phone back on the table but there was another buzz from her phone and Charles as well. “Aren’t we popular tonight?” She paid no attention to his comment but she did find it odd that Gerald had responded so quickly. She looked at the phone and saw it was Brooklyn instead. She opened up the message Guys, somethings up, Sienna reached out to me… I don’t think she’s okay, have you seen her?”
To Brooklyn:
I haven't seen her..or heard from her. How did she reach out?

Everyone in the coven knew Sienna was a channeler, she sometimes used her ability to help Vivian. Vivian didn't know the extent of her ability since Sienna didn't use it much. Vivian looked up at Charles and made eye contact. Her eyes showing strong concern but she said nothing. She was sure he had gotten the text as well from the look on his face. Sienna was known to stay away from magic, much like Charles, but she was a partier. That always worried Vivian to begin with but if Sienna reached out to someone maybe something was really going on.

Blood from a witch was a rare thing to come by and it didn't taste anything like humans. Julia whipped her mouth to rid it of blood. "Yes, quite easy," the girl paused "But if karma has anything to do with in, we'll be in deep trouble soon as well." Julia rolled her eyes, she didn't believe in Karma. Of course she knew things happened for a reason but she never believed that there was some force out there paying people back for the bad they've done. Karma was created by the people of the world. People are paid back for the bad they do because the people they've done wrong had something to do with it.

She held the girl up with ease, she hadn't though further than knocking the girl out which was good that she had Elizabeth with her. Julia was impulsive it was probably the only reason why Arthur asked Elizabeth to accompany her on this 'mission'. Julia watched as the younger vampire adjusted the witch so that it looked as if she was too drunk to walk on her own. Julia smiled and moved to the other side of the witch to help with the illusion. "This should keep us from looking suspicious, but I'd prefer we move quickly. I don't want to have my energy too low with the full moon lurking,"

"Arthur is most likely at your place, since he has a key. I wonder why he wanted her alive? If it was this easy to find her how hard can it be to find the rest of them and just kill them off one by one?"

"Arthur is most likely at your place, since he has a key. I wonder why he wanted her alive? If it was this easy to find her how hard can it be to find the rest of them and just kill them off one by one?" Elisabeth mused about whether or not giving Arthur a key to her house was a good or bad idea. In fact, she wasn't sure she could recall a time where it had actually been for the better. Whenever she returned to find him lounging around, it was usually because he was too drunk to remember the way to his own home or because he needed to let off steam on her rapidly decreasing amount of furniture. Either way, Julia was probably right and Arthur was probably waiting there.

"Over the river and through the woods, to grandmother's house we go," Elisabeth said with a smile. She could be a grandmother by now if she wasn't a vampire. "Arthur probably wants to see what she knows, see if she will tell us who the other witches are. I'm sure we'll have no troubles given your mind compulsion. Easy as this was, I'd prefer not to have to catch every witch this way. It'd be much easier to just know who they are and where we might find them. Maybe he'll kill her afterwards. But perhaps he won't. Having a witch could be useful, couldn't it? Perhaps she can cast a protection spell for us." Elisabeth had no idea if that would really work. She also had no idea that witches tended to specialize in one area of witchcraft, instead assuming that they trained all areas of it fairly equally. Harboring no malice towards witches, the young vampire was hoping that none of the other vampires decided to kill her.

Fortunately for Elisabeth, her home was in the northeastern part of the woods, so it wouldn't be any more than thirty minutes before they reached her home at their pace. The problem would be getting past any wolves lurking in the woods outside of town.

His phone buzzed just as he had finished signing his check. Gerald picked it up and read the message before sending Vivian a short response, as nothing more was really needed. Ok, just text me then. He then put his phone away and grabbed his books, rising from his chair and scooting it back in before departing for his home. It would take him about ten to fifteen minutes to reach it, depending on his pace.

To him, there was nothing unusual in the air. There was no scent of vampires or werewolves, no impending change of the werewolves from their human to wolf selves, and there was not even a hint in his mind that his best friend was a witch. There was only him, in his mundane world in what was certainly not the mundane town of Cherry Blossom.

Roman ran his fingers through his hair as his best friend read the note. It seemed like forever before she said anything and when she did, he was surprised by how calm she seemed despite her aggressive words. "What the hell is this, Roman? Is this for real? This isn't some type of joke or something?" All he could do was stare at her, dumbstruck that she would even ask if this was a joke. Sure he liked to pull some pranks from time to time, but why the hell would this be a joke?!

He couldn't help but release a low growl, his eyes beginning to turn a more vibrant blue as the wolf inside him also was angry. Both knew better than to question their Alpha, but both were still irritated with her lack of concern for the situation and accusations that this was some joke he'd devised. His eyes returned to normal as he took a deep breath to calm himself down.

"No, this is not some fucking joke, Lil. I have no idea where Serena is! She could be a mile away or she could be fifty miles away! I don't know," he said, his voice beginning to raise. "I just went over to her house and found this note. I looked for her for like twenty minutes and then I came to find you. And now you're here accusing me of making this up as some sort of sick joke." He wanted to say more, to call her out as being a shitty Alpha and friend right now, but he had enough common sense to restrain himself. He knew it was the full moon getting to him, making him easily irritated and more aggressive. He could feel his wolf within him, just waiting to come out in full force.

He sighed before speaking again, offering an apology at a lower decibel. "Sorry, I just don't know where the hell she is or why the hell you're so damn calm right now. It's a miracle you aren't pacing right now." He laughed, but it was only half genuine.

Julie smiled at the thought of killing the witch. She hoped Arthur did decide that and let her be the one to do it. She's had a strong distaste for witches for centuries and she hadn't had the joy of ruining ones life in a long time. "Of course, Arthur will want information out of her. It just depends on what mood he's in. My compulsion would be the easy way...if he's in a good mood. However, if he's not he may go the hard way whatever that may be." If he was in a bad mood he wouldn't take shit from anyone, even Julie wouldn't cross him in that state. She'd been around long enough to know when to push the boundaries and when not to.

She could tell the younger vampire had no understanding of witches, which most vampires don't but when you've been hunting them you pick up a few things. "It depends on if she's that kind of witch. Witches have specific abilities like we do, kind of."

There was silence between the two. Both waiting for the same thing, a response from Brooklyn which had yet to come. It was nerve racking especially for Vivian since she worried about the coven more than anyone, in her opinion. She was a worrier, she couldn't help it. She watched Charles pull out enough money to pay for both of their orders and leave a tip. She was going to protest but he spoke before she got a chance.
“I’m going to head out and swing by her apartment before it gets’ too much later,
She nodded, to be honest she should have been heading home as well but she knew of a few parties Sienna might be. “I’ll text you if I find out anything, and again, when I get home. Alright?” Vivian gave him a quick smile and nodded "Okay, I'm going to check out some parties on my way home.

Her phone buzzed again and she picked it up but it wasn't who she thought it was. She shook her head to let Charles know it wasn't Brooklyn but Gerald.
To Gerald:
Sorry, something came up. We can meet tomorrow at the diner?

She hated doing that to him but it was better to keep him out of this for his safety and the covens.

He growled. He growled at her and she saw his eyes getting more wolf like. It didn't take long for him to calm back down, thankfully for him. "No, this is not some fucking joke, Lil. I have no idea where Serena is! She could be a mile away or she could be fifty miles away! I don't know," Her eyebrows knitted together waiting for him to finish. "I just went over to her house and found this note. I looked for her for like twenty minutes and then I came to find you. And now you're here accusing me of making this up as some sort of sick joke." She really wasn't liking his tone but she knew it was the full moon plus he really did seem concerned even though he didn't much like Serena.

"Sorry, I just don't know where the hell she is or why the hell you're so damn calm right now. It's a miracle you aren't pacing right now." Lilly scoffed and gave him a small smile "Roman I literally just saw her not but five minutes ago. She's in the body shop talking to Levi, She motioned towards the car shop behind them. She wasn't sure when it actually hit her or what made her put two and two together but it clicked. She looked down at the note again and reread it then looked back at the shop. She wanted her to leave so she could be alone with Levi, right? "Fuck!" She threw the note towards Roman and ran towards Levi's shop and peaked through the window. She wasn't inside and neither was Levi. The door was locked and it wouldn't be a good idea to break it down.

Then she heard the snarls. She turned, it sounded like Serena but what she saw was not what she expected. Some ways down the street was Markus and Willow getting a little too close for her liking. Markus was returning her flirting outwardly, he wasn't like that. In the back of her mind something was telling her it was an act but her wolf wasn't liking it none the less.
