Name:
Roman Charlot Kingsley

Nickname:
Rome (uncommon, but he doesn't mind it)

Age:
23

Sexuality:
Heterosexual

Mate:
None (PM me if interested)

Occupation:
Works for a local landscaping company

Species:
Werewolf

Pack:
Pack 1

Rank:
Hunter/Delta

Ability:
Being a werewolf, he has no special abilities. However, he is good at cooking. He lives by himself though, leading him to share his food with his pack.

Appearance:
Roman is a young man standing at 5'10". He has chin length light brown hair and blue eyes. Being a werewolf he is very fit from training and just from being concerned about his wellbeing. He likes a mix of function and fashion, wearing whatever is comfortable but also doesn't make him look like a slob.

In wolf form, he is a large black wolf with blue eyes.

Personality:
Roman is a good guy. He's not the most talkative around those he doesn't know, but once he's made a friend he will talk freely with them. He cares about his close friends a lot. Growing up in a large and loving family, he's loyal, protective, and kind to those he really cares about. He expects the same treatment from them, because after all friends should be good to each other. He won't abandon a friend in their time of need.

Despite his kind nature, he can be very rash. If angry or sad he will act on emotion instead of thought. His mood will sour and he will snap at others. At his worst, Roman will go on a rampage of destroying things whether he be in human or wolf form. He wouldn't care at that point, as he would only want to lash out violently. For this reason, his agression can be a good and a bad thing. It can be useful in combat situations, giving him an extra boost of energy to hurt his opponent. However, it can be detrimental if the situation is one that shouldn't have violence involved.

History:
Roman Charlot Kingsley was born to his parents Thomas and Jessica on June 6th. He was the fifth of seven children born to the couple, though they had lost their first and third child shortly after they were born. Because of this, Thomas and Jessica cherished their children every day.

The family lived in a large house outside of Cherry Blossom while Roman was growing up. Due to the family's size, they found that living on a larger property worked better for them. In addition to the large house, there was also a guest house. This was a bonus for both the parents and the kids. The five siblings could use the guest house as a play space to give their parents breathing room. It also acted as a place for sleepovers and a space for guests. (It was a guest house after all.)

Roman lived a fairly normal life, growing up alongside his three brothers and his sister. He attended school with others in Cherry Blossom, becoming close friends with Lillian Smith. The two only became closer once Roman changed for the first time on his 16th birthday. He was unaware that he came from a line of werewolves, as neither of his parents were wolves. However, his grandfather had been a werewolf before being killed by a vampire. (A fact his father informed him of after Roman inquired about his lupine nature.) Knowing that his best friend was a werewolf too helped ease the confusion and shock for him. It also motivated him to be at the top of his game, as he found fun in being competitive with the Lillian and the other younger wolves.

He became accustomed to being a werewolf and the change which occurs every full moon. Being in the pack he felt that he had an even larger family now. It seemed that there were quite a few people he knew that were also wolves. After graduation, he decided to take a year off to decide what to do. Truthfully, he had no idea what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. He was hoping that by taking a year off he might find a purpose other than drinking, hanging out with friends, and protecting the town from vampires. After all, none of these activities could be considered occupations or earn him a living. He took up a job as a landscaper, enjoying the physical labour that kept him in shape and gave him something productive to do.

When Roman was almost 20, his parents decided to move out of Cherry Blossom. Despite not being obliged to come with them, he chose to go. He decided that he would stay with his family for a couple of years, waiting until his younger twin brothers had graduated to leave. During this time away from Cherry Blossom, he briefly joined another pack. However, he knew that his true pack was back in the town he had grown up in.

He left his parents behind in New York, coming back to Cherry Blossom. He took up his old job as a landscaper and rented a one bedroom apartment in town. Life was fairly similar as to when he had left. There were a few more vampires roaming around and Lilian had become good friends with Serena, but for the most part little had changed. Of course, Roman was part of the chaos that ensued after the sudden death of the pack's Alpha. Originally unwilling to pick sides, he eventually decided on Lillian's pack. After all, she was his long time friend. However, he was hurt when she chose Serena as her Beta. Ever since he's been a bit cold towards Lillian and has disliked Serena. Nevertheless, he has remained in the pack.

Other:
The house that he used to live in is now occupied by Elisabeth Hill.

Julia took a seat on the small couch she owned. Not wanting to invade her personal space but also not wanting to be left standing awkwardly, Elisabeth took a seat on one of the chairs in the room. "I have no idea. To be perfectly honest it is hard for me to believe a witch coven would be stupid enough to reside in a town like this," Julia answered her. "Perhaps if we catch one in the act but that could take days. If Arthur sensed them, perhaps we can too if they are practicing magic. Though I'm not exactly sure how to do that. Perhaps my compulsion can help, somehow."

"Maybe-- if there are witches here-- the coven was here first and the town just so happened to attract vampires and werewolves as well," Elisabeth said thoughtfully, as she agreed that it would seem a bad choice to live here if you were a witch. She liked Julia's suggestion of the other vampire using her mind compulsion ability. It seemed the only way other than catching an witch practicing magic and having to try and figure out how one was to sense a witch. "That sounds like a good idea. If we do find a witch, let's hope Arthur is actually hasn't been drinking too much."

Elisabeth stood up, though she did not move towards the door just yet. "Which part of town should we start with? I was thinking the east side." She was weary of venturing into the center part of town, however it wouldn't hurt to start their search around the small shops and cafes lining the streets on the east side of town. There would be enough people that they could search effectively, but not enough that their actions should cause immediate alarm to those around them. Humans had conversations all the time, a vampire's job was to mimic them.

Roman drove through the northern end of town, keeping an eye out for Serena or her jeep. It wasn't a very efficient way to try and find her, but until she responded to his text it was the only thing he could do. He truly had no idea where she could be right now, but he couldn't help but the shake the feeling that he wasn't too late. However, that also meant he was running out of time. As he continued driving, he heard his cell phone buzz inside the cup holder. Stopping at a sign, he read what Serena had sent.

He resisted the urge to crush his phone-- he wasn't sure how much a new one would cost him and not having a phone wasn't an option for him-- and instead threw it onto the passenger seat. It bounced off the seat and hit the door before clattering to the floor. "Goddamnit!" he yelled, even more agitated. Serena certainly wasn't going to help him find her and he still felt telling Lillian was out of the question. Of course, if only he knew the whereabouts of where both women currently were.

Deciding it would be best to text Serena back so as not to raise her suspicion, he unbuckled his seatbelt and leaned across the car. He felt around for his phone on the ground, finding it after a few moments. He picked it up and responded to the text: ok. He wouldn't have said much else normally and he didn't have much to say now either.

Mumbling a string of curse words under his breath, he continued driving. He passed rows of houses, the odd shop or two, and plenty of people who weren't who he was looking for. He was starting to think he was looking in the wrong place and would have to go searching somewhere else soon.

Elisabeth stepped through the door, before turning around to wait for the other vampire. She had been expecting Julia to lock her door. Instead, Julia merely closed it and began walking. It was none of her business, so the younger vampire didn't say anything, only followed behind the blonde.

As the two walked, sometimes side by side and other times with Elisabeth trailing behind Julia due to other people walking, Elisabeth's mind wandered. The two had a plan to hopefully find a witch. Whether or not it would be as simple as Julia using her ability was another question. They could only hope the witch wouldn't be able to break from Julia's mind compulsion and make a run for it. Additionally, they had to hope they could get her to Arthur in one piece and keep her in one piece once she was there. Catching a witch seemed so difficult.

Elisabeth wondered what the other coven members were doing. She knew that the one who had turned her was either on the hunt or lounging around in their house. Rin was likely at the strip club she owned and Arthur either mulling over something in a half sober state or a drunken one. She guessed from what Nathaniel had told her upon their first encounter and from what Arthur had told her afterwards that he was at the hospital, pursuing a career as a normal human. Then again, weren't they all? Perhaps it was the only thing that all three supernatural species had in common-- the need to blend in, to pretend as if they were merely mundane beings and not creatures of legend or nightmare.

She let out a heavy sigh as the two continued to walk. Elisabeth gazed at the sky above them, wonderful hues of orange and yellows painting the sky. She'd seen so many sunsets, and she would see many more, but that did not detract from their beauty.

Having determined that Serena was not within the northern part of Cherry Blossom (and also having determined that he had probably picked the least likely place she would be in his panic), Roman decided to drive through the center of town. With any luck, he would spot her or her car. If he couldn't find her there, his next stop would be the Pack House.

Roman drove towards the center of town, fingers tapping anxiously on the steering wheel as he drove. As he approached a traffic light, he noticed Lillian on one of the corners. She seemed calm, which was both a blessing and a curse in this moment. He sighed as he parked his car on the side of the street and got out. He took the note that Serena had left on her door, folded as if it had never been opened, and put it in his pocket. Perhaps he should tell his best friend about it. After all, he clearly hadn't handled the situation successfully.

It didn't seem that Lilly had noticed him. Not wanting her to get too far from him, he began running, quickly closing the distance between where his car was parked and the corner opposite of where she was. "Lil!" he shouted, just in case she still hadn't noticed him. Chances were she had caught his scent and knew he was there. He resisted the urge to inhale and exhale deeply.

As soon as the light changed and before the crosswalk signs could change, he darted across the street to his best friend. His hands gripped both her shoulders as he looked down at her. "Lil..." he began, but trailed off, unsure of what to say to her. He didn't want to abruptly bring her world crashing down, but at the same time the chances of Serena being in the town or nearby were dwindling. He opened his mouth to speak again but then closed it. His mind was racing and he wasn't confident in his ability to form a coherent sentence. Roman sighed as she shifted his gaze to the ground before looking back at Lillian. "There's something you need to know."

Serena looked up just as Levi raise a brow at her incredulously and immediately knew she had screwed up. "What? No, I'll shut the door, you should be fine, Serena, what is this about really, because honestly this can't have anything to do with what I did some years ago." Despite the obvious shit she had just gotten to she saw Lillian walk off and relief filled her. Because of this she didn't even notice that Levi had gently taken hold of her elbow and lead her to the office until he had let go to shut the door. "Look," Serena flinched, knowing she was in for it. "Truth be told, I didn't say anything because...I know you'd try to talk me out of it , try to talk me into the taking my father's place in the pack and I didn't want to hear. So I left. I'm so sorry, if I hurt you, but" Serena stared at him in shock as he continued on. She had expected an apology and maybe a comment about it wasn't her business but she had never expected this. During his slight pause Serena tried to let her mind catch up but he continued a moment later and she was lost again. "I couldn't face you, because back then, you probably would have changed my mind and I would have spent my life wondering what could have been." He paused and by this point, Serena's mouth had fallen open just a bit, showing how truly shocked she was. "So there, there's you're answers. I saw what life was like out there and sure I could have made it work out there, but my blood is here so I came back, like I said, I--I wasn't sure how to do it, but I was gonna come see you, once I finally decided on if I was going to stay or not." Levi gestured around them at the office but Serena was still trying to catch up and merely stared at him. "I've decided to stay obviously." At this he chuckled and Serena flinched, looking away, trying to process what he said. "But that's not what any of this is actually about, is it? If it were, you, You wouldn't give a single shit about whether or not Lillian heard us, Alpha or not." Serena flinched and mentally shook herself. Shifting her weight she heard the paper crinkle in her pocket and immediately shook her head, trying to physically refuse her thoughts to go there. "What's up, Really?"

Serena frowned and looked back at him. 'Of course leave it to Levi to shock the shit out of me with a rant the onetime I'm counting on his stoic nature....' Serena sighed and shoved her hands into her pockets, grasping the letter in her hand tightly and deciding to at least respond to his 'answers'. "It crushed me when you left but I eventually realized that it was something you needed to do." Before Levi could speak or even process the statement Serena rushed on, setting her jaw before she spoke, trying to keep her voice steady and tone firm. "And you're right. Usually I wouldn't care. But I... I'm leaving." She paused for a second as she let what she said sink in, both for him and her.

Levi looked at her with an arched brow.. "Leaving?" "Wait what?" He thought and then realized that was a good response. "Wait What?" He asked, before running his hand donw his face. "Serena, You did not come all the way here, just to tell me you're leaving, I know it's been years, but you came here to tell me why, and to for me to talk you out of it, you don't want to leave,--" He stopped and realized. She was scared. He mentally kicked himself. He was jumping on her case, mostly because he was freaking out himself. This was not a situation he was used to being in. He was a loner, he didn't have to worry about others, not really besides his mom, and she was doing well, he'd almost forgotten what fear in others looked like.

He took a breath, and looked at her. "What's got you spooked, I'm not going anywhere, I'll help you. Is someone after you?" He asked and then the worst thoughts crossed his thoughts and he examined her fore injury. "Did someone hurt you, You know what I'll do..." He said, with a small growl in his voice.

Serena flinched and shook her head, forcing back memories that tried to claw their way to the surface of her mind. 'I've been in a haze for days I need to stay focused right now.' "No, I didn't come for you to talk me out of it I came to say good bye. I couldn't put you through what I went through. Though I doubt it'd be as hard on you. You always were better at controlling your emotions." Serena gave him a smile filled with irony that didn't meet her eyes. "I hate that this had to happen now of all times, when you finally came back..." A bit of the sadness that she truely felt at the whole situation creeped into her voice but then she shook her head once more and her eyes glowed blue again. She spoke and as she did she smiled a Levi, a smile that didn't reach her eyes which glowed with an unidentifiable emotion, though fear was definatly mixed in their somewhere. "But I have to go. I hope that i-..." She hesitated a moment, not wanting to say 'if'. "When I come back, we can finally catch up." Serena knew she had to get out of the room as soon as possibly, which meant keeping this conversation as short as possible. Just having his firmiliar scent filling her nose was enough to make her want to start crying, something she refused to do now after how much she had cried after he left.

Levi shook his head and approached her, he didn't want to intimdate her but he had to get her wolf to stand down, and he wasn't her Alpha but he was one in his own right. "Serena. You are not leaving this room until you tell me what's going on." He said, and he took her hand, his hands were soft and gentle, but he stood in front of her, his wolf reaching out to hers, a low growl, almost like a coo, urging her to stay and speak. "Serena, Talk to me, Please?" He pleaded.

Serena's wolf acted far quicker than her mind in this situation and her eyes blazed as a snarl ripped free from her throat. Serena could almost hear it in her mind, 'This male has been gone far too long to give orders'. Despite this, and the tensing of every muscle in her body, she didn't yank her hands away like her wolf wanted her too. Instead Serena closed her eyes and spoke slowly, trying to keep the growl out of her voice as much as possible. "I can't. This is my burden and mine alone. I refuse to bring anyone else into it." Serena paused, knowing that, with Levi blocking her way, she would either have to force her way out of the room or shock the crap out of him, neither sounding very appealing as she glanced at the door behing him.

"Not anymore," Levi said, standing his ground. [b]"Serena, I owe you this much." He told her. "I left you before, and now you're stuck in some situation, you want to run from. I owe you. It's not your burden anymore, it's mine now too." He said, giving her hands a gentle squeeze. His wolf was begging hers now, whimpering for hers to stay, so much that it trickeled out into his voice, his ears shifting back a little, his hair blanching a bit but he didn't Turn. "Serena....I'm not letting you leave like this, if I learned anything, running isn't going to solve the problem, it'll just halt it, for a moment." He said, his eyes flashing red a bit, but not for anger, but for his uniting with his wolf, mid form. It was a risky move, without a full moon, but he had to stop her, and it wasn't like it was intenationally. "Serena...I'm not letting you go."

Serena finally yanked her hands from Levi's, baring her fangs at him. "It's not a choice you get to make! You gave up that right when you let me here without a word! And I'm not running! I'm going to take care of a problem that followed me here!" Without thinking Serena pulled out the still closed envelope and shoved it towards his face. "This could get us all killed, probably worse! No one needs to go through that! I'd die rather die than lead these people to the packs. I never should have stayed here!" Serena let her hand drop as she shoved past Levi, reaching for the door with the letter still in her hand.

Levi growled, viciously, whirling on the girl and before she knew it, he grabbed her by the hand, spun her into his chest, and held her there. He was stronger then her, that much was certain, and while his grip was tight, it wasn't enough to hurt her, just slightly restrain her. She could bit him, or struggle, but he had no intention on letting her go. "You can bark, and scratch and claw but I'm not letting you take on the world yourself. You came here for a reason whether you want to admit it or not, you came to me, you knew what I'd do, you knew I'd stop you, you don't want to go it alone, you don't want your pack invovled, you went to the one person, that was not in your pack or any other. This is what you want, you wanted me, You made it my problem the moment you came to my shop, I'm here, Deal with it." He said with that, he let her go, her letter in his hand now, preparing to face her wolf, or worse. Her tears. "You tell me what's in this letter, and I won't invovle Lillian, or Willow, you and I will handle it ourselves, but If I have to open this, I'll invovle everyone, either way, I'm in this now." He told her. "Choose."

Serena was a bit shocked that Levi would grab her but then, years had passed and the two of them had obviously changed quite a bit. Despite the fact that she was the beta of her pack, and with good reason, agility and speed didn't do shit against pure strength though visciousness might have. Though she knew that if she had really wanted to she could have gotten away Serena couldn't help but wonder if some small part of her brain had been doing exactly what Levi had said. The thought distracted her just long enough for himto grab the latter and let her go but at the sight of it in his hand she froze. At first it was just a complete stillness of her body but as the word open left Levi's mouth she tensed. Two days, not counting the whole day before the failed hunt, she had sat looking at her name written in the hand writing that had set off alarm bells in her head. Two days of metally reliving months of torture, of fighing to stay sane, all at the sight of her name and adress on the outside of an envelope. At the thought of opening the letter and actually reading what HE had said... Serena started to shake, her muscles so tense that the shivers that ran up her spine became an almost visible thing.

Diane, Serena's wolf, having been so close to the surface in the first place Serena's panic attack gave her the perfect oppertunity she needed to break free. As she shifted Serena's mind shut down, trying to cope with the panic and Diane's overpowering will all at once. In result, leaving Levi with a agitated, snarling dark brown wolf with in the room with him.

Levi watched her Turn, but all this did was secure his thoughts. Something truely had her spooked. He wasn't ready to Change yet, he was still half mortal and Turning on the Full Moon, hurt like a son of a bitch, but before, the pain would be immeasurably, but Serena was loosing it. He had to.

"You....ugh..." He rolled his eyes, her wolf was not in the mood for him, He'd already challenged her, and he wasn't ready to accept the defeat. So he let the Change take him.
His skin rippled and curled, his lips peeled back, his hair stiffened and spread over his body, his black hair blanching into white fur, white as snow and his once deep brown eyes, began to glow a heavy red.

Ghost took a step forward, his musclar leg pawed at the ground.

Stand down, he was saying, with a snarl. She was only a beta, and only alpha's trues didn't back down from a challenge. Were this Lillian, or Willow, he would expect a fight, but not Serena, even if her wolf wanted to. He was an Alpha, born to be so, he just didn't accept the title, but it was in him and his wolf.

The alabastar wolf, gave howl, a warning, what he would do if she didn't stand down, and calm down. He didn't want to attack her. He didn't want to hurt the girl, but in this state, he wasnt' exactly of the mind.
He barked, only once. Last Chance, he was saying. Stand down.

Diane snarled at the male in front of her and moved restlessly back and forth, not in an agressive manner but more calculating. She might not have been born to an alpha, or she could have but there was no way to tell, but she had been raised by one. Diane was fully in control and she definitley didn't like the way the male in front of her was trying to order her around. Lily had earned her respect, through years of loyalty, her adopted sister's wolf had won it by being able to keep up with her in a fight, one which their father had stopped before either got too badly injured, but the male before her had done neither. At his bark Diane bared her fangs in a silent growl, and shook her head. Her message was clear, she wouldn't back down though the male's scent was far more firmiliar in this form. The scent of an old friend, it thought, though the wolf had a hard time believeing this was the same male.

Shaking her head again Diane sat down, giving the male a sharp, wary glance as if to make sure he knew she wasn't submitting but mearly didn't feel threatened anymore. Something the she-wolf was interested to see whether the male would take as an insult or not.

Ghost shook his massive head. The wolf stood down, she wouldn't admit to submitting but Ghost took it as a win. He had little care for bravado. He approached the she-wolf brushing his large maw against her fur as if to say. I'm here to help.
He then sat down, resting his head on his musclaur hind legs, as if giving her a moment or two to get it together, and in that, the hair retreated and darkened, the skin smoothed, and the bones reconfigured. Levi was himself again, or atleast in human form.

"Serena?" He called to her, it not having dawned to him that he was now dressed in shreds of his clothes and it probably wouldn't until later.

Diane growled and snapped her teeth near Ghost's ear when he chose to brush his maw across her pelt. She was fine, Serena on the other hand, was still having a mental break down. Diane and Serena had always been able to level with each other, and suprisingly enough Serena always tended to be the more emotional half. While Serena coped with her problems Diane made sure they ate and such, as well as getting to act freely.

Diane growled lowly as the male changed back and then called to her other half. A few minutes went by and slowly, the growling stopped and her eyes dimmed. As Serena started to get a handle back onto her emotions her eyes became a swirl of brown and blue, and for a moment they stayed like that. A minute passed where Serena and Diane looked at Levi with their mixed eyes before the blue faded and she shifted back. Though with Levi in the room she immediatly noticed her lack of appropriate clothing but in true Serena fashion she ddn't care. She had stopped being shy of her body long ago.

She waited a moment, silently looking into Levi's eyes, before she spoke. "I haven't opened it and neither will you. Now give it back." Serena's mind on a straight path which ended at the letter staying shut and being put into her own possesion, she didn't even think to add the fact that she was still leaving. For a moment she considered snatching the letter and her muscles tensed as she did but then she dismissed the idea. Instead she watched Levi cautiously, waiting for a response.

"So why don't you tell me who it's from and I'll give it to you." He said sternly but still gentle in tone. "Do you want me to just let you leave? Really? Knowing the stress you're under, I can smell it on you, Ren", He said, calling her his old nickname for her. "Why don't you want me to help you?"

Serena took a deep breath and then let it out slowly, a hint of amusement lacing into the fear in her eyes at his use of her old nickname. "It's from someone I used to know. Before my dad found me." Everyone in both packs knew the story of how Willow's father had found Serena in the woods while on a trip to visit distant relatives from another pack. Everyone also knew that she went through something awful before she was found from how hard it had been for her to get used to being around people, especially men. "I expected you to understand. I thought you of all people would accept it and let me go. I also thought you of all people deserved to hear it from me. And I don't want you or anyone else involved because I don't want to be responsible if you get hurt. No, when you get hurt."

Levi sighed. "I understand you better then you think." he said rubbing the back of his head and he did, but this wasn't simply wanting a better life. She wasn't leaving, she was running. "But letting you go, with you so freaked out. You should know better then to think I would let you run like this." He said. "You're scared, Ren, and...I should have been here, I see that now, and I know I have no room to tell you not to go, but you shouldn't go because your running, because you'll always be running, and as much as I don't like the pack life, you are apart of one, which means you have people that will look out for you, care about you, You're not alone, and I get that you don't want to get anyone hurt, but, the only thing that's gonna hurt them or me, is if we don't know what happens to you." He said and chuckled, at her, flashing her a boyish grin, "And I know I've been out of the game for a while, but I can still hold my own."

Serena mentally kicked herself, now realizing that this was almost as bad an idea as talking to Lillian before she left would have been. He obviously wasn't going to budge, he didn't even know what was going on. Making a split second decision Serean lunged forward and made a grab for the letter. Despite the fact that she was the largest of the female wolves in town she was definitly smaller, and faster, then Levi.

Levi saw the twicth in her muscles, just before she darted forward. She made a grab, and the paper brushed her fingers for a moment before Levi snatched it away and shot her a dull look. She was fast, but Levi was faster. "What did I just say?" He said and deicded, he was a man of his word, and opened the letter. He skimmed then letter and his dark brows furrowed. While he read, he heard the door fly open and he sighed.

Wasting no time, Levi shifted form again. His muscles were already sore from the first shift, and that was involuntary, but this time, was intentional. The white wolf then darted after the female, and it wasn't long before he was on her heels.

It wasn't a suprise to her that the male was just as fast as her in human form but as soon as the envelope tore Serena had jumped into action. She flung the door open and flew across the shop, the setup still familiar due to time she had spent here with Levi and his father. She didn't need the letter to know where to go and she definitly didn't want to know what it said. She was out the door in seconds and heading towards her jeep at superhuman speeds, making her grateful she had parked out of sight of the road. Despite this, Levi managed to catch up with her, Serena not having expected him to change forms.

As the white-furred wolf tackled her Serena swore loudly, flinching as she realized if anything had kept Lillian in the area that the alphess, or any other wolves for that matter, would have heard and recognized Serena's outburst. "Son of a bitch! Levi! Ghost! Get off me!"

Not only did they have to find a witch which was nearly impossible they had to avoid the dogs of the town. Since she had a run in with a werewolf just two days ago Julia was on the lookout for that wolf. Still worried about finding the witch, Julia had no idea how to find one and they had no help from Arthur. He gave them no advice or ideas whatsoever. Honestly she should be used to it, he was a drunk bastard but he was their leader and even though he was usually drunk he was a damn good leader in Julia's eyes.

Walking through town as Julia was good and bad. Julia was a beautiful woman if she'd say so herself and got many looks from many people but she also got bad looks. Most people knew what she did for a living and it gave her a reputation which was pretty wrong. Stripping was just a way of life to her and she loved it. Most people think strippers sleep around and to be honest some do but Julia isn't that kind of girl. To be honest she rarely sleeps around unless there are feelings involved which is rare for her. After loosing her mate she could never see herself loving someone as deeply as she did with him.

"The shop isn't too far. If we don't find something there we move on." She said to Elizabeth but didn't look at her. "We have to look out for wolves as well. But since it's a full moon they will most likely be in the forest until morning...hopefully." She said glancing at the sky, it wasn't dark just yet but it was getting there. It wasn't unheard of in this town for wolves to be roaming the streets during a full moon, it was rare but it has happened.

When they reached the shop it seemed to be closed. The lights were off and it didn't smell like anyone was inside. She knew one of the wolves owned the shop but she didn't mention that to Elizabeth but she was sure as soon as they walked up she figured it out. "Closed. Maybe she has some sort of record of who shops here, if we can get inside without being detected." As soon as she said this a woman walked up and cursed under her breath probably realizing the shop was closed. Julia turned to the woman and immediately recognized her. She was from the party she was chased out of that night. She'd gotten a strange feeling from her but couldn't pinpoint it.

"Yea she seems to have closed up early tonight, must have plans or something." She said to the girl and nudged Elizabeth letting her know she was about to mess with this girls mind a little and to be ready. "Yea, I was hoping to get some herbal tea but I guess I'll have to wait." Julia nodded, she'd never used her mind compulsion on a witch but they had to be just like humans. "I recognize you from that party a couple of days ago." Before the girl could respond Julia took a hold of her wrist and began to whisper.

If you were behind the poor girl you would be able to see Julia's pupils dilate as she whispered. "Tell me why you came here." The woman responded without hesitation, "My energy has been low lately, my friend has been channeling it. The tea is a way for me to regain the energy quikcer." With that Julia broke the compulsion and grinned "This was easier than we though Elizabeth." With that she bit the girl on the neck. She wasn't going to kill her, since Arthur wanted the witch alive, but she was going to drink just enough to get her to pass out. Now whether this was the witch Arthur sensed was none of her business. They'd done their task, they found a witch.

For once, at this moment, for some reason she was content. Serena was speaking to Levi after he had been gone for so long and had broken her heart. Willow was pissed and Lillian didn't have to do anything to cause it. She wasn't sure what Roman was up to but she was sure he was just being Roman which was usually good. Her injured pack members are healed thanks to a member of Willows pack without her knowledge. Everything at this moment was peaceful.

Just as she was about to cross the street she heard her name, "Lil!", Well a nickname of hers. She knew who it was and she turned to greet him but he'd nearly tackled her to the ground. "Damn it Roman!" She balanced them both before they both lost balance and fell to the ground. Roman had both hands resting on her shoulders but hadn't said anything. She waited, he didn't seem sure whether or not to say whatever it was he wanted to say and it was getting pretty annoying.

"There's something you need to know." She knew from his face that it was serious and important. "What is it Roman? Just tell me what's going on?"

The wolves had gone which left her to her own thought and her book. Reading was the least of her worries though she did read the book her mind was not comprehending what the book was saying, to be honest she would most likely read it again anyway. Something big was about to happen she could feel it but no one else could feel it. They all thought she was worried about nothing but she knew it wasn't nothing.

She was broken from her thoughts when she saw someone slide into the seat across from her, “Hey, Vivian." Charles, the rare male witch of their coven. He showed up in town when he was young with his mother. No one knew his history all they knew was that he was a male witch. "Hi Charles." She sent him a smile. She liked him, he was always nice. “How’s your newest addiction going?” He motioned to her book but she knew what he was really talking about. She merely shrugged "Not as good as I'd hoped. Can't seem to understand it." She said folding the edge of the page she left off on and closed the book. "It's also not that easy to explain to someone else. she added placing the book on the table next to her half eaten sandwich.

Elisabeth acknowledged Julia's words, but said nothing, content to watch the sun as the last bands of colour began to disappear from the sky. Once he two arrived at the herb shop, she recognized the smell of the wolf that owned it. She knew that the wolf was in Willow's pack, but she had rarely encountered her before. The vampire wondered what it was like to be an herbalist. Perhaps if she was still alive the two could have discussed the wonders of natural medicines, but it was far from a possibility now.

The shop was closed, likely a result of the upcoming full moon. Ah yes, the lovely time of the months where wolves were dominated by their true selves. It was also the one night of the month that Elisabeth generally stayed in town. Trying to reach her house in the woods was unlikely to be successful with the packs out and about, hiding amongst the trees and waiting to descend on her like flies on a corpse. It was not a situation she wanted to be in if she could help it.

"Closed. Maybe she has some sort of record of who shops here, if we can get inside without being detected." The younger vampire was about to offer to use her ability to disrupt any security cameras and to open the door when another young woman approached the shop. Elisabeth observed her closely, wondering if she was a witch. Unlike Julia, she could just barely sense anything odd coming from her energy. Perhaps it was her lack of interaction with witches or of her relatively young age. Either way, she was having a difficult time deciding if this woman was a witch or not.

Julia and the other woman exchanged a brief, casual conversation before Julia nudged Elisabeth. Elisabeth had already gotten the hint, but nonetheless remained silent. One question and answer later and the vampires had found a witch. Julia commented on the easiness of it after knocking out the poor woman. "Yes, quite easy," Elisabeth commented. "But if karma has anything to do with in, we'll be in deep trouble soon as well." She was worried that having such ease finding a witch meant eminent difficulty in the future, perhaps even so soon as tonight. Lady Luck might have been on their side this time, but instant good luck came to very few.

"Alright, time to take her to Arthur." Elisabeth glanced around. No one had seen them, but there was still the possibility of humans seeing them since they were in a fairly busy part of town. Carrying the witch was an option, but would likely draw suspicion as few would expect either Julia or Elisabeth to be able to carry someone with such ease. Lifting the slumped woman off of the ground, the vampire slung the witch's limp arm around her shoulders, as if supporting a drunken friend who needed help walking. Elisabeth looked the woman over from head to toe, helping her to picture exact what she wanted the woman's body to do. Envisioning the witch with her head held up-- enough that she seemed conscious but not enough to reveal her closed eyes-- the woman's head adjusted itself as so. With that, Elisabeth began to walk, her telekinetic abilities allowing her to move the woman's feet along with her own. "This should keep us from looking suspicious, but I'd prefer we move quickly. I don't want to have my energy too low with the full moon lurking," she told her companion before starting to walk down the street.

Gerald finished the last of his meal and glanced at outside. It was nearly dark, meaning he should probably make his way home before anything bad happened to him. However, his naivety about the supernatural and confidence in his ability to keep himself out of trouble overshadowed the rule that most people in town abided by. Nevertheless, he wasn't sure he wanted to be caught by the Sheriff or Vivian for that matter if he was out walking alone. Running into either would likely spur a speech about how it isn't safe be alone after dark.

Handing his plate to the waitress and waiting for his check, Gerald starting drumming on the table top with his hands. He glanced around the cafe, which was barren of patrons save for himself and a man who he knew lived in the apartment above. Looking back at the table in front of him, he saw the small pile of books he'd loaned from the library. Two were for him and the other for Vivian.

Hey, I got a book from the library for you. I can give it to you whenever. He shot Vivian a quick text before the waitress returned with his check.

"What is it Roman? Just tell me what's going on?" Roman let go of Lillian as he reached into his pocket, pulling out the letter he'd found on Serena's door. "I stopped by Serena's house not too long ago. I was going to talk to her about..." He paused briefly as he remembered that he'd wished to talk to the Beta about doing something for Lillian. He still wanted to treat her to a night out and have it be a surprise, however likely or unlikely it was at this point. "Nevermind, that's not important. I went to her house and found this."

He extended the folded up note to her, declining to share that he had read despite it clearly being intended for the Alpha. However, it was fairly obvious he had read it and would be even more obvious once Lillian read the note. Roman could only hope she wouldn't completely lose control. The full moon was near, raising the tension.

Lilliy saw he'd pulled something out of his pocket as he explained, "I stopped by Serena's house not too long ago. I was going to talk to her about..." He paused then added, "Nevermind, that's not important. I went to her house and found this." while handing her the paper he pulled out of his pocket. She took the note and looked at him skeptical but opened the note anyway.

Dear Lily,
I know that this isn't going to mean much but I'm really sorry. I truly wish that I didn't have to leave but it's the only way to keep everyone safe. I don't know how long I'll be gone but I know you'll be in good hands with Roman as your Beta. Please don't be mad, I can't tell you where I'm going or why I'm leaving but I hope I can come back soon. I know you'll want to but please don't come after me, I don't want you getting caught up in this. Lastly, I know you're about to start pacing so sit the fuck down.
With Love, Serena

She read it through then read it again as if she didn't understand it the first time. How was this possible? They had just crossed paths, why would she leave like this? She looked up from the note "What the hell is this, Roman? Is this for real? This isn't some type of joke or something?" She asked. The writing did look like Serena's and the tone of the message sounded like something Serena would say butt she couldn't believe this was from her Beta. She didn't show any signs of anger due to the fact that she had just seen Serena and didn't believe Serena, of all people, would leave town with only a note with no explanation whatsoever.

She watched as he took the book from the table and read the information on the back. It wasn't a witch type book, that would look weird but he seemed interested in it. He put the book back where he picked it up from “Well, if you ever need somebody to come and eat your food, I’m there.” She nodded. She knew he wasn't the type to get in the middle of werewolf and vampire business but if he ever offered to help she knew it was genuine. Just as she was going to thank him her phone buzzed. She sighed and looked at it, Gerald. She smiled and opened the text Hey, I got a book from the library for you. I can give it to you whenever. She smiled and moved her fingers over the keyboard
To Gerald:
Thanks :) I'm at the diner with a friend. I can meet up with you after?

She put the phone back on the table but there was another buzz from her phone and Charles as well. “Aren’t we popular tonight?” She paid no attention to his comment but she did find it odd that Gerald had responded so quickly. She looked at the phone and saw it was Brooklyn instead. She opened up the message Guys, somethings up, Sienna reached out to me… I don’t think she’s okay, have you seen her?”
To Brooklyn:
I haven't seen her..or heard from her. How did she reach out?

Everyone in the coven knew Sienna was a channeler, she sometimes used her ability to help Vivian. Vivian didn't know the extent of her ability since Sienna didn't use it much. Vivian looked up at Charles and made eye contact. Her eyes showing strong concern but she said nothing. She was sure he had gotten the text as well from the look on his face. Sienna was known to stay away from magic, much like Charles, but she was a partier. That always worried Vivian to begin with but if Sienna reached out to someone maybe something was really going on.

Blood from a witch was a rare thing to come by and it didn't taste anything like humans. Julia whipped her mouth to rid it of blood. "Yes, quite easy," the girl paused "But if karma has anything to do with in, we'll be in deep trouble soon as well." Julia rolled her eyes, she didn't believe in Karma. Of course she knew things happened for a reason but she never believed that there was some force out there paying people back for the bad they've done. Karma was created by the people of the world. People are paid back for the bad they do because the people they've done wrong had something to do with it.

She held the girl up with ease, she hadn't though further than knocking the girl out which was good that she had Elizabeth with her. Julia was impulsive it was probably the only reason why Arthur asked Elizabeth to accompany her on this 'mission'. Julia watched as the younger vampire adjusted the witch so that it looked as if she was too drunk to walk on her own. Julia smiled and moved to the other side of the witch to help with the illusion. "This should keep us from looking suspicious, but I'd prefer we move quickly. I don't want to have my energy too low with the full moon lurking,"

"Arthur is most likely at your place, since he has a key. I wonder why he wanted her alive? If it was this easy to find her how hard can it be to find the rest of them and just kill them off one by one?"

"Arthur is most likely at your place, since he has a key. I wonder why he wanted her alive? If it was this easy to find her how hard can it be to find the rest of them and just kill them off one by one?" Elisabeth mused about whether or not giving Arthur a key to her house was a good or bad idea. In fact, she wasn't sure she could recall a time where it had actually been for the better. Whenever she returned to find him lounging around, it was usually because he was too drunk to remember the way to his own home or because he needed to let off steam on her rapidly decreasing amount of furniture. Either way, Julia was probably right and Arthur was probably waiting there.

"Over the river and through the woods, to grandmother's house we go," Elisabeth said with a smile. She could be a grandmother by now if she wasn't a vampire. "Arthur probably wants to see what she knows, see if she will tell us who the other witches are. I'm sure we'll have no troubles given your mind compulsion. Easy as this was, I'd prefer not to have to catch every witch this way. It'd be much easier to just know who they are and where we might find them. Maybe he'll kill her afterwards. But perhaps he won't. Having a witch could be useful, couldn't it? Perhaps she can cast a protection spell for us." Elisabeth had no idea if that would really work. She also had no idea that witches tended to specialize in one area of witchcraft, instead assuming that they trained all areas of it fairly equally. Harboring no malice towards witches, the young vampire was hoping that none of the other vampires decided to kill her.

Fortunately for Elisabeth, her home was in the northeastern part of the woods, so it wouldn't be any more than thirty minutes before they reached her home at their pace. The problem would be getting past any wolves lurking in the woods outside of town.

His phone buzzed just as he had finished signing his check. Gerald picked it up and read the message before sending Vivian a short response, as nothing more was really needed. Ok, just text me then. He then put his phone away and grabbed his books, rising from his chair and scooting it back in before departing for his home. It would take him about ten to fifteen minutes to reach it, depending on his pace.

To him, there was nothing unusual in the air. There was no scent of vampires or werewolves, no impending change of the werewolves from their human to wolf selves, and there was not even a hint in his mind that his best friend was a witch. There was only him, in his mundane world in what was certainly not the mundane town of Cherry Blossom.

Roman ran his fingers through his hair as his best friend read the note. It seemed like forever before she said anything and when she did, he was surprised by how calm she seemed despite her aggressive words. "What the hell is this, Roman? Is this for real? This isn't some type of joke or something?" All he could do was stare at her, dumbstruck that she would even ask if this was a joke. Sure he liked to pull some pranks from time to time, but why the hell would this be a joke?!

He couldn't help but release a low growl, his eyes beginning to turn a more vibrant blue as the wolf inside him also was angry. Both knew better than to question their Alpha, but both were still irritated with her lack of concern for the situation and accusations that this was some joke he'd devised. His eyes returned to normal as he took a deep breath to calm himself down.

"No, this is not some fucking joke, Lil. I have no idea where Serena is! She could be a mile away or she could be fifty miles away! I don't know," he said, his voice beginning to raise. "I just went over to her house and found this note. I looked for her for like twenty minutes and then I came to find you. And now you're here accusing me of making this up as some sort of sick joke." He wanted to say more, to call her out as being a shitty Alpha and friend right now, but he had enough common sense to restrain himself. He knew it was the full moon getting to him, making him easily irritated and more aggressive. He could feel his wolf within him, just waiting to come out in full force.

He sighed before speaking again, offering an apology at a lower decibel. "Sorry, I just don't know where the hell she is or why the hell you're so damn calm right now. It's a miracle you aren't pacing right now." He laughed, but it was only half genuine.

Julie smiled at the thought of killing the witch. She hoped Arthur did decide that and let her be the one to do it. She's had a strong distaste for witches for centuries and she hadn't had the joy of ruining ones life in a long time. "Of course, Arthur will want information out of her. It just depends on what mood he's in. My compulsion would be the easy way...if he's in a good mood. However, if he's not he may go the hard way whatever that may be." If he was in a bad mood he wouldn't take shit from anyone, even Julie wouldn't cross him in that state. She'd been around long enough to know when to push the boundaries and when not to.

She could tell the younger vampire had no understanding of witches, which most vampires don't but when you've been hunting them you pick up a few things. "It depends on if she's that kind of witch. Witches have specific abilities like we do, kind of."

There was silence between the two. Both waiting for the same thing, a response from Brooklyn which had yet to come. It was nerve racking especially for Vivian since she worried about the coven more than anyone, in her opinion. She was a worrier, she couldn't help it. She watched Charles pull out enough money to pay for both of their orders and leave a tip. She was going to protest but he spoke before she got a chance.
“I’m going to head out and swing by her apartment before it gets’ too much later,
She nodded, to be honest she should have been heading home as well but she knew of a few parties Sienna might be. “I’ll text you if I find out anything, and again, when I get home. Alright?” Vivian gave him a quick smile and nodded "Okay, I'm going to check out some parties on my way home.

Her phone buzzed again and she picked it up but it wasn't who she thought it was. She shook her head to let Charles know it wasn't Brooklyn but Gerald.
To Gerald:
Sorry, something came up. We can meet tomorrow at the diner?

She hated doing that to him but it was better to keep him out of this for his safety and the covens.

He growled. He growled at her and she saw his eyes getting more wolf like. It didn't take long for him to calm back down, thankfully for him. "No, this is not some fucking joke, Lil. I have no idea where Serena is! She could be a mile away or she could be fifty miles away! I don't know," Her eyebrows knitted together waiting for him to finish. "I just went over to her house and found this note. I looked for her for like twenty minutes and then I came to find you. And now you're here accusing me of making this up as some sort of sick joke." She really wasn't liking his tone but she knew it was the full moon plus he really did seem concerned even though he didn't much like Serena.

"Sorry, I just don't know where the hell she is or why the hell you're so damn calm right now. It's a miracle you aren't pacing right now." Lilly scoffed and gave him a small smile "Roman I literally just saw her not but five minutes ago. She's in the body shop talking to Levi, She motioned towards the car shop behind them. She wasn't sure when it actually hit her or what made her put two and two together but it clicked. She looked down at the note again and reread it then looked back at the shop. She wanted her to leave so she could be alone with Levi, right? "Fuck!" She threw the note towards Roman and ran towards Levi's shop and peaked through the window. She wasn't inside and neither was Levi. The door was locked and it wouldn't be a good idea to break it down.

Then she heard the snarls. She turned, it sounded like Serena but what she saw was not what she expected. Some ways down the street was Markus and Willow getting a little too close for her liking. Markus was returning her flirting outwardly, he wasn't like that. In the back of her mind something was telling her it was an act but her wolf wasn't liking it none the less.
