♦ Age :420 years old

♦ Face Claim :Harkyn from Lords of The Fallen

♦ Power :He has the power to call upon the lightning spear which he summons rarely for it is not ment to be used often and only when needed because in order to summon lightning it requires time to gather concentrate and form. He has the power to cast light magic which is a gift from the goddess the limit of it being how much light he absorbs from the day to absorb light he needs to pray/meditate as he is in complete sunlight normally it takes him about an hour to reach his limit and the cost of his stored light is measured internally by himself. He can heal but to a light limit for example healing broken bones, curing a poison, or healing something internally will normally half way or complete drain his power. He can feel other peoples suffering and hatred. He also has an almost inhuman strength which allows him to wield his giant sword with ease and speed. He also can never die by old age but he can die in combat.
Lightning Spear very limit on use

♦ Personality :Determined and loyal to bring light in the world and to end the suffering of man and to his goddess. He is very harsh but fair he sees mankind as a twisted thing that needs to be healed and he fully believes that his goddess will help with the healing. He is devoted to his faith he is also never been filled with hate since he became a priest even when in combat he does not let anger or hatred enter him. To him killing or fighting is a sad task that needs to be carried out. Other than that he is actually a very warm and cheerful man.

♦ History :Born into a city slums he never would have had a chance of becoming anything good or clean. He took to pickpocket early just to feed himself and to care for his dying mother. By the time he was twelve his mother died and he was on the streets and fighting to survive he became part of a gang when he was sixteen and was made a killer in the gang. He ended up joining a group of mercenaries when he turned eighteen and fought for a year before he encountered Eleora in the flesh and after seeing her he actually fell in love with the goddess because of the pain she went thorough after that he swore his life to her and promised to carry out her wishes. He served her loyally to the point that before she left the mortal world she gave him the gift of immortality so that he may protect a child that would be born centuries later. So for hundreds of years he protected the light and searched for the child of light he has been looking for. His sword was not seen before and its story has yet to be told.

♦ Likes :Eleora. the idea of peace, knowledge, food, music, drink, light smoking, and seeing other happy.

♦ Dislikes :Evil, warfare, hatred, necromancy, darkness, and snakes

♦ Strengths :Combat, Drinking, plant healing, survival, hunting, scouting, and bartering

♦ Weaknesses :Stealth, magical healing, areas with no light anywhere, water(heavy armor), not defending people, ranged combat.

♦ Fears : A world filled with war, losing to darkness, not being able to protect or find the child of light.

♦ Relationships :

He loves the Goddess of Eleora but he knows it is a foolish idea so he swore service to her. He is very protective of Hiyoko and doesn't let her out of his sight

Asrai Xylion I nice of enough young lady who he knows he doesnt have to keep a protective guise around but rather someone who he can depend on to fight.

So begins...

"Let's settle this with fists."

BOOM! Was that a blast? The paved stone ground began to vibrate. In the distance, you could hear something impacting with the solid ground. There was screaming coming from the city plaza. Men, women and children alike all came running in the opposite direction of the blast. Their faces were fearful and some stumbled as they ran. It was enough to alarm Asrai Xylion. Asrai quickly rose from a stacked pile of concrete. Her brilliant colored hair waved back and forth while a slight breeze rushed by. Her eyes were narrowed in the direction of the explosion. She wore tattered clothing that was stained with patches of faded cloth that stood out from the colorless garment. Her friends that were hanging around the area also glanced in the same direction as she. Each of them concerned with whatever was going on. Suddenly, a little boy came running and shouting Asrai's name. She immediately hopped down from the pile of concrete to meet the child. He was thin and bony, his face gaunt. Visible signs of hunger.

"Milo," she softly spoke. "What's going on?"

The young boy stared at her wide eyed; unable to catch his breath. "In the plaza-" he gasped in between words. "An attack... Men in black..."

Everyone whispered amongst themselves as Asrai absorbed this information. Was it a military attack? Were they raiding homes for taxes? Maybe it was the beginning of a war between kingdoms. Such a war was way overdue. People were still running past all of them, continuously screaming and shouting. However, Asrai and her friends had nowhere to run. After all, they were from the slums. They had no home. Asrai clenched her fists and turned to the others. Even though they were all afraid, Asrai appeared to be fearless. She stood out from the crowd now more than ever.

"Everyone! We must-" she was suddenly interrupted by another explosion. Except this one was only a few yards away from her and the others. For a brief moment, Asrai, many people, items and rubble included were flung into the air from the explosive force. As Asrai regained her focus, she turned to see a few of her friends laying on the ground. Limbs blown off and heads decapitated. But to Asrai's horror was a creature standing before them, holding one of her companions by the hair a few feet above the ground. Her friend squirmed and cried, shouting her name for help. Asrai stared in bewilderment. This creature it... it was not human! It had an awful appearance. Two horns extruded from it's scalp with red beady eyes that contained no pupils. They glowed even in the daylight and it was as though smoke escaped it's nostrils. The creature had a snout and sharp, carnivorous teeth. It's arms were wide with muscle and for hands it had claws. It's legs were like that of a wolf's and it was as though it was grinning directly at her.

People ran past it screeching, trying not to look back, trying not to stop. Asrai felt frozen in place, unable to look away from this foul beast. Behind it were flames and more creatures similar in appearance. There were men too, but it was as though they had no life in them. Their faces were pale, very pale, almost appearing gray. Their eyes were vacant and they walked like zombies towards them while killing anyone in their way. Then, a terrifying woman who held a resemblance of a human but also that of a devil appeared beside the creature that was holding her friend. She had a purple complexion and lots of jewelry hanging around her neck and earlobes accompanied by a pair of wings on her back. The woman yawned as if bored, but then slapped the creature holding her friend. The creature dropped her friend almost instantly, snarling at the woman.

"Exel! How many times do I have to tell you we're not killing any babies today!" the woman spat with distaste.

She then turned back towards Asrai and the others as though she were examining them all. It was then that her demonic eyes locked with Asrai's for a long moment. The woman grinned, exposing a set of sharp, hungry teeth.

"That one, Exel. Get that one," she ordered pointing a long, razor-sharp fingernail in Asrai's direction.

Asrai's heart dropped. Suddenly she felt very fearful, knowing she could not protect the others from this let alone herself. The creature stepped forward walking straight towards her. This thing was at least three times her size. Her friends had already fled the scene, and she did not hesitate to follow. The woman wanted her. Was it her hair that made her stand out? In the past it's done just that. Her heart raced and she thought she would suffocate from the anxiety. She turned then ran, faster than she ever had before. Faster than most folk as she zipped past them in seconds. The creature pursued her. She heard it's lound, clunky steps behind her. This made Asrai start to run even faster. When she turned to see how close the pursuer was, she noticed it was running on all fours after her. Sweat was pouring down her face and the creature suddenly lunged at her. She screamed while tumbling over. It missed! Quickly, she darted off towards the side before the creature could even turn back around towards her. She kept on running, never looking back. Eventually she found a narrow stretch in between two buildings that was shadowed and dark. She squeezed into it glaring around for anyone else coming. Her chest was rapidly rising and collapsing with each heavy breath. In fact, she was somewhat wheezing from the run. She noticed she was near the city plaza where rubble was scattered and children were being gathered by more strange creatures. She noticed these creatures closely resembled demons from pictures she's seen in books or paintings in the past. She was bewildered, terrified and uncertain of her fate. A gloom hung over her as she began to think her death was near.

“Goddess guide us"

Krein Haar walked down the road which was empty. Something about the air seemed stiff and the sky was growing dark with each step. Krein shifted his light grey eyes scanning the trees and the shadows. Thinking to himself this is not right. He kept his hand hovering over the handle of his sword. Moving faster in front of him in a distance he saw the clearing to the village as he approached the clearing the smell of burning wood and flesh filled his nostrils which made him go in full sprint. Exiting the forest and into the clearing he saw a sight that was starting to becoming the common sight for him. He saw a small village and it was in burning ruins and bodies littered to area.

The sight made his heart and shoulders sink in despair hopefully he is not too late and he can save the child. Putting on his helmet and pulling out his massive sword he ran towards a group of undead whose souls were clearly tainted with darkness from serving the Necromancers. He gave the first swing slicing one of them in half the others piled onto him finding he weak spots in his armor. Throwing them off he sliced into the rest of them ignoring the pain for now he knew he was going to pay for it later, but for now he had to win he had to find his goddess child. He cut through the last of them and looking around he tried finding anyone that was alive. In the distance he saw a small child his thanked the goddess for having him arrive on time.

Running to the child he was almost there when he was blocked off by a demon. It cackled at him it was very much like a giant minotaur but instead of a bull it had the half rotted head of a dog. It wielded a almost tree like club. It spoke to him in a raspy voice "You will not succeed Priest my lords will rule once they destroy the children." The demon charged at him Krein threw up his sword to block and made it just in time the force of the hit alone was enough to send him and his sword flying. Krein Haar got up quickly he ran quickly and side stepped the second swing of the club Krein swung into the club with his complete strength and cut through the demons weapon. His sword crashed into the earth Krein turned around facing away from the demon and pulled the sword out of the ground making an arc from behind him to in front. The demon was close enough to be cut deeply by the returning arc. The back of Krein sprayed lightly in blood and spinning around Krein horizontally swung cutting halfway into the demon before the thick body stopped the sword. The demon gave a gasp before letting out its final breath but before it died it swung at Krein Haar landing square in arm breaking it. Krein Haar yelled out in pain before muffling himself.

Using his free arm he pulled his sword out of the now dead demon and sheathed it on his back. He rushed towards the little girl ignoring his arm and with a kind yet panicked smile he bowed "Hello you need to come with me you will be safe I am going to search the village I am looking for a certain child that will be revealed at some point so I need to make sure that all the surviving children are safe."

Please never lose what makes you precious.

Hiyoko lay under the food trough, wondering to herself if this was truly the end as he listened to the death screams of her friends. There wasn't a person in this village she didn't know, she began reciting their names, and apologizing. Hiyoko didn't know why she was apologizing, it just felt right to her. She curled up in a fetal position and coughed violently, the nagging scent of burning bodies was almost more than she could bear. The thick black smoke from the fire was surrounding her, then out of the dark she heard yelling. Not yells of final struggles, but a yell of triumph. Had someone come to save her? She began to squirm out from under her hiding place, standing clumsily. . . How long had she been crying? No matter.

A large man covered in blood came tramping up to her with urgency.
"Hello you need to come with me you will be safe I am going to search the village I am looking for a certain child that will be revealed at some point so I need to make sure that all the surviving children are safe." Hiyoko felt her chin quivering.

"M-Mr, I'm the only one left."
Hiyoko felt tears running down her cheeks as she struggled to look up at the man.
"You're too ...You're too late!"
Hiyoko walked past the man and saw the carnage. A deep pain opened in her chest, looking down there was no wound, to Hiyoko it felt like her heart was being torn into pieces. Turning to face the man she was about to say something but thought better of it. This whole thing had Hiyoko in a mess of emotion. Instead of saying what she had planned to, she decided instead to smile. Cocking her head slightly to the right she grinned at the man, tears running down her face as she did.

"Thank you brave hero." Hiyoko sat on the ground and laughed softly. This was the end, these people could have more of those things here in minutes, they were doomed.

Then out of nowhere a bright blaring light lit up the entire village. Swaddling it in pure light. A woman, her clothing looked like it was spun from blue-silver, she felt like tranquility embodied. As Hiyoko gazed upon her sweetly smiling face, she looked away and saw the village was repaired, the demons were dead, and the bodies were gone. The woman stood before Hiyoko, smiling she caressed Hiyoko's face gently with her right hand.

"Listen my daughter. You are unlike these around you. You are my child, my child of light. I am Eleora, Goddess of light. I have come to claim you, you need to be awakened, the world needs you Hiyoko." As the woman spoke, her body glowed brighter with light and then it would fade slightly, then it would become bright again. In the woman's hand she held out a glowing pendant, placing it around Hiyoko's neck the woman leaned down and kissed her head delicately. Hiyoko closed her eyes and nodded. Then as quickly as it happened the woman was gone. Everything was in chaos again and Hiyoko stood beside Krein.

"Come, we must g-get out of here. . . "

“She loves all"

Krein Haar gave a look of deep sadness when the small child told him that she was the only one alive. He saw and could faintly feel the little girls pain. The little girl then said something that racked him with grief and guilt "You're too... You're too late." he held back the pain he felt from this. He thought back to the other places that were like here and how he was always too late. He was going to say something when a bright light covered the village and Krein knew all too well the source of the light. Kneeling down at the presence of his only real love he heard her words and took them to heart and listened keeping his head bowed down in his head he prayed for the light and for forgiveness of his inability to protect the people.

When the light faded he heard the little girl say to him "Come we must get out of here." without hesitation he said the end words of his prayer "In the light she guides" standing up he started to guide the person he is to protect out of site as the village disappeared he picked up the pace. He checked constantly making sure that the child stayed near. Remembering the name of the child he whispered underneath his breath as if it was sacred " Hiyoko..." after they were well out of range the battle fatigue and wounds started to take a serious toll the mix of blood from the battle made it so he couldn't see his own open wounds and his arm throbbed and was numb with pain. Krein got to an area where they could camp safely and said "I need to stop for now." using his undamaged hand he took off his cloak revealing his armor then taking off his helmet. He removed his sword and jammed it into the earth then with much difficulty he set the rest of the camp giving his sleeping roll and other camp comfort equipment to Hiyoko so she could be fine.

Then he slowly and carefully removed his armor. After removing the last piece of armor he took of his shirt and started washing off blood to find the open wounds. He found ten of them that needed to be taken care of now. From his pack he pulled out a jar that contained a red paste and rubbed it gently onto his wounds then took a bandage and wrapped where he put the red paste. He then looked at his arm with a sigh and took out another jar inside was a thick green pulpy salve. He took a deep breath and made sure to set his bones straight he felt his broken bones reset then he quickly applied the green salve onto his arm and wrapped it with a bandage. then putting his shirt back on he sat back down. Looking down at Hiyoko's feet.

Please, never lose what makes you precious.

Hiyoko stood in slight shock of all that had happened to her; she looked down over her burned village and memories flew throughout her mind of good times there. Tears silently rolled down her cheeks as she looked down at her bare-feet in the surprisingly cool grass. Everything that had happened was almost a blur to her, she was the child of a goddess. . . She was supposed to bring light into this darkness. She shook her head and then looked over as Krein was tending to his wounds.

She gasped and her voice caught in her throat looking at his injuries, her eyes widened slightly. She had never seen such injuries before, well, before all of this hell that happened today. Then he handed her some supplies before he applied some sort of thing to his arm to relieve pain she guessed. She bit her lip and looked away. She couldn't bear to see people in pain. This whole day had been like something from her worst nightmares.

"Thank you. For all the suffering you have endured." Hiyoko then turned back to see he was looking at her feet. She couldn't believe that her hero that had just saved her life was acting like she was some big thing. She fidgeted slightly and then knelt by him, he was a giant compared to her. She hesitantly placed a tiny hand on his scarred face. She gently tilted his head to look at her, once they made eye-contact she smiled at him shyly.

"I owe you my life. Th-thank you. Without you, I'd be dead right now." Hiyoko was shy but she felt safe around this man, she felt like a bond had been forged when they fled the village together, when he saved her. He treated her like some sort of deity, she didn't want that. She just wanted a friend. She carefully took her hand off of him and looked down. Even though that place she was in was filthy, no dirt or any grime at all was on her. Her little white dress was spotless and her skin was sparkling clean.

"What do we do now?" Hiyoko asked with curiosity in her voice. That village was all she had ever known and as such she had no clue where to go. . . She felt like her protector would know of a place where they could go.

"From now until the very last dawn, I must defend with my all."

Nothing seemed to be going as planned for anyone in this turn of events. Asrai had humbly agreed with the man to run off with the children while he dealt with the demons. She was hesitant, but came to understand she'd only hold the man back. As she reached the children she hacked at their chains with her sword which seemed to be able to cut through anything. Freeing them at last she shouted, "Come on! We have to get out of here!"

Her brave face was returning, it reminded her of the slums. Where she protected everyone. Now they were dead. The realization pitted itself in her stomach and made her chest ache with a pain worse than any wound she had ever felt. However, the more she pondered, the more bitter she began to feel. She was gently pushing each of them at the small of their backs to run off when she heard the man speak, "You. You're the one they call the Death Dealer, The Black Necromancer."

The words rang in her head like bells. The Black Necromancer. That was only a legend! A tale told to kids to scare them at night! This could not be possibly happening. The day was becoming overbearing. She made she sure the children ran ahead of her before she followed. They ran for some time, creating a fair distance between themselves and the fight. Asrai had found an area full of a rocky terrain where it would be safe to hide. The boulders would be their cover and there were plenty of holes and crevices to hide in. Asrai directed the children into the area though she lingered at it's edge awaiting the man who had saved these innocent lives. Each minute passed felt like an eternity. Asrai found herself pacing back and forth anxiously. Her sword was settled on a smaller rock a few feet away. It had stopped glowing and Asrai was dumbfounded.

Fortunately, Asrai did not have to wait too long. The young man appeared though his stride was sluggish and he appeared to be wounded. The instant she saw him she ran towards him and slung his arm around her neck to help him walk towards the children. Once they reached them he collapsed to the rocky ground and Asrai quickly observed his wounds, uncertain of how to handle such things. She was certainly no healer. "I... guess... we survived that..." the man said with a weak smile.

"Hey, come on! You have to hang in there!" Asrai practically shouted, her voice was panicked. Two younger children came running to their aid. There was a young boy who wore a handkerchief around his neck. He untied it and passed it to Asrai. The little girl beside him tugged at her arm and firmly spoke, "Apply pressure, it'll slow the bleeding. My grandma was a healer. It does not look too bad, I've definitely seen worse."

Asrai simply blinked at the young girl, impressed by her knowledge. She nodded with a small smile before muttering her thanks. Carefully, she applied the cloth onto the man's wound hoping to slow the blood. Unfortunately there were no bandages available so she was not certain of what more she could do. "Say, what's your name? I'm Asrai," she tiredly spoke. "I'm sorry you got caught in this mess... It seems to be my fault..."

She firmly held her palms over the man's wound while glancing at his face with a weak smile of her own. Guilt was washing over her. All of this happened because of her. The city's destruction, the chase, the children being captured and this man risking his life for them. Her entire being was shaken. Normally, Asrai was able to conquer the most difficult of situations. However, it was as though an entire lifetime of events happened all in a matter of hours. Though she finally felt she could breathe again. With a heavy sigh, she glanced over at her sword which was about a dozen feet away from them. It still did not glow. Asrai kept trying to figure out why or how the thing worked but could not think of an answer. Her smile slowly turned into a troubled frown and her eyes narrowed while she entered some sort of daze. "I don't think we can stay here long either," she almost whispered. An onslaught of questions circled throughout her mind for this man, but she refrained from asking seeing as it would be inappropriate due to their circumstances.

Meanwhile, back at the scene remained a devastated Eucliffe. She almost wished she had died rather than survive for what was about to come her way. Her body trembled for she didn't even dare look at her Lord Lucien who was glaring at her and the others. Everything had completely failed, and the Child of War escaped. Things were looking grim for her and the others who were still alive. She fell to her knees and dropped her polearm, her fresh wounds still stinging from the chains Lucien had bound to her before. She was uncertain whether or not to expect worse, death, or remorse. The others were just as tense as she was and all cowered in fear. Such a change of atmosphere compared to a short while ago.

Perched upon the treetops was a young looking man who had one golden eye and one black. His face was expressionless with lips pressed together. He wore a luxurious navy blue tunic laced with gold and a set of black-grayish trousers that were somewhat on the baggy side. His sinister expression and unique pair of eyes meant that he was no one other than the demon general Zeporon.

Zeporon was perched atop a thick branch, gazing directly down at the child who bore the mark of Eleora around her neck. His pupils were thin and snake-like. While he appeared human, his eyes said otherwise. He was one of Solus's devoted men and had been tracking the child and companion that walked beside her. While he had led the direct attack in the girl's village known as Mossley, he had taken notice of the young girl and the warrior who protected her as they escaped the village. He took it upon himself to follow which turned out to be a wise decision. They did not notice his presence, he was as silent as a small field mouse foraging for food. Just a short while ago he had sent out a demonic messenger crow with a letter to fetch Solus. It described their exact location and his findings.

The warrior who stood by the Child of Light was wounded. He was applying medicine to his wounds while pondering their next move. Though his gaze was glued to the small child and the pendent fastened around her neck. Uncertain whether to attack or wait, he decided to do nothing but watch until his Lord Solus appeared. Anything rash could ruin their entire operation. He was known for his intellect amongst the demon generals though he was not nearly as strong as the others. Though judging by the looks of the two, even he could overpower them both.

He simply remained perched on the thick branch of the tall tree, hiding amongst it's leaves and shade studying the two very carefully just in case there was going to be unsuspecting surprises. Zeporon disliked failure, especially if it was his own. Even his breath was silent. If you stood next to him, you'd begin to wonder if he even breathed at all. Patiently he waited, his eyes glistening any time the sun's rays broke through the leaves of the tree. He craved blood. Dinner. The child looked delicious. Perhaps he'd get to feast on the man beside her. The smell of his blood made was beginning to make his mouth water.

“When it is dark pray for light"

Krein Haar smiled "The pain I feel is nothing young one. With my year's I have learned much about pain and many more about other thing's." He gave a bigger smile and then his broken hand started to glow the green paste seemed to absorb into his skin and then the light faded. Giving a small chuckle "Magic is a rare art that take many years to master even one field properly. I am our mothers only true priest and servant and I devoted my life to learning and teaching her love and gifts. Her gifts are not something I teach freely though for most abuse it." Moving his hand freely again he stood up he seemed refreshed again like nothing happened. He knew though that he cant heal again for today, but he needed to be sure he was at his best and all he could completely heal was his arm the rest of his wounds would need more time to completely heal. He picked up his massive sword again and sat down next to Hiyoko then placed it on the empty side next to him.

He patted the little child on the head "I have learned the hard way that if you trust a person who have never truly spoken with Eleora that they don't have to true love to bear her gifts. For example teaching someone to heal another person with only the reserved and loving power of the light is not wise. They will instead use it for selfish needs such as profit or lordship." Krein Haar faintly remembered far back when magic wasn't as rare then remembering what Hiyoko said he said gently and with a warm tone that would relax most "We are going to find the other children which means we have to go to the sacred mountain which are on the Sacred Mountain. From there we will find the Necromancers and hopefully destroy or turn them back to the light." Krein knew the chance of turning a necromancer back to the light was impossible but he was hopeful for even though they belong to the darkness Eleroa still wishes them to light. Krein Haar dug in his bag and pulled out a bottle of hard spirits and took a drink of it feeling the warmth spread then plugged it and put it back in the bag. Looking to Hiyoko again he said "Do you have any questions or do you want to say anything Young Child of Light?"

"Everything must end, to end is to find peace. "

Zeporon's Messnagener bird found Solus several miles away from the castle, he had been heading west on foot, following the main road. The bird delivered it's message to Solus and fluttered off.

"Mossley.." He said aloud, pondering. It would take him a few hours to get there by normal means... A few moments by jumping through shadows, but that ran the risk of detection. The conflict being time wasn't on his side. After a few moments of tossing the pros and cons at one another he begrudgingly he chose Speed over stealth. Solus moved over to the nearest cluster of trees and began whispering a simple chant. His body passed between this world and the next as he fell into the shadows.
Image
This world between was strange, simply black and gray with the sky being an infinite Black mass. The only surface was once the shadows of other objects creating a bridge like pathway, Below it rushed the pure power and magnificence of Magic, much like a river, if one fell into that bliss one would lose their own existence to the raw splendor that was magic. This world was very strange and mostly unknown to humans anymore.

One didn't have a physical form so to speak in this realm, simply their mind resided in this ghostly realm.
Solus had become very use to the feeling that the rushing magic below cast his way, it was like trying to float while being weighed down by lead and iron, however, he moved freely at a blazing speed no longer bound by his physical body. It wasn't long until he had reached the village southwest of Prul.

Solus fell through this shadowy plane once again to emerge just east of the town in the within the wood line as to not been seen simply appearing from the shadows. His men had attacked the town recently... He needed blend in better...An able-bodied young man who hadn't defended his hometown would have stood out...He focused on his disguise again, adding a bit of blood spatter and grime to make himself look like he had been in the battle. Give himself a once over and being satisfied with his work he headed to the main road, the smell of charred wood and flesh caught his nose and he to the town to see his men's' handiwork, and was disappointed.

The town was largely fine... This had the goddess handy work written all over it. He frowned a bit 'Waste of troops, waste of weapons and armor...' He huffed and let his head lull back to gaze at the sky. Just more things to worry about. Keeping an army maintained would troublesome. Zeporon was no doubt watch Solus at this moment, Disguised or not Zeporn would recognize Solus as this was a typical disguise for him. He raised his arms as if to stretch, crossing his wrist. This was a signal saying " Return home, wait for orders."

Solus scanned the horizon and saw figures in the near distance, not too far off were either other survivors of the attack or the child he was looking for. There wasn't much he could do at the current moment, with orders to simply observe and hinder the girls powers it wasn't like he could waltz over, attack, and kidnap the small child. He started walking towards them.
Just a young man, lightly armed with a short sword, with a rather friendly presence about him.

As he neared he gave a friendly wave and smile. It would be nearly impossible to tell that this man walking up to them was one of their greatest enemies...or allies if things went according to plan.

"From now until the very last dawn, I must defend with my all."

Asrai gave a soft smile as she gently grabbed Azriel's torn sleeve. She helped settle him against the rock behind him so that she could more easily wrap the cloth around his waistline. Fastening a tight knot, she then somewhat pouted, "I hope this is okay." She then rose to her feet, the skin over her muscular frame glistening in the sun. Even though she was covered in dust and ash, she still maintained an outwards appearance. Asrai was staring off into the distance, her mind elsewhere. There was a glimmer of ferocity in her bright irises and she clenched her fists. Her gaze than gently rested upon the children who sat nearby waiting anxiously.

"Hey, would you mind grabbing that sword for me?" she directed them towards Morrighan's sword. She did not have a sheath or any way to carry the sword over her back but she knew she had to help Azriel on his feet. The children, wide-eyed, nodded and quickly made their way to the sword. But then the oddest thing happened. The male child tried to lift it with no success. He struggled and pulled desperately and even the little girl tried to lend her strength. But their efforts were futile.

"Miss, the sword is too heavy..." the children muttered embarrassed.

Asrai had a perplexed look on her face. The sword was as light as a feather, surely it was not that heavy? She walked over and grabbed it with no effort whatsoever and it lifted off the solid rock it rested on. Confused, she passed it over to the male child but as he grabbed it he fell down trying to hold it's weight. Asrai instantly grabbed it from him so that the child would not harm himself. She'd have to make due somehow. Making her way back towards Azriel she tucked her sword underneath her arm before helping lift Azriel so that he could slump his arm over her shoulder.

"Come on kids! We're leaving this place!" she shouted before lowering her voice to a quieter volume. "I'm sorry but you're going to have to help me lead them to the next village. I've never been outside of the City of Shimore."

Little did they know was that a crazed, drenched in blood, Eucliffe lurked nearby tailing the group. Lucien had made his point to succeed in this task after seeing to her thorough punishment for failure. Her teeth were gritted, bearing her fangs for all to see. Her eyes had a wild glare as she somewhat limped with a slumped shoulder that trickled with her discolored blood. Kill... Kill... were the only thoughts she could form. Curse that Lucien! Why do I have to be stuck with him? She'd wait to strike and kill those children. She could not wait to see the desperate faces of that wretched girl and whoever that nuisance of a man was. Their scent was strong and she sought nothing more than revenge. Eucliffe decided to wait until they appeared once more, her eyes and ears focusing in everywhere around her.

“Trash that doesn’t even know it’s trash deserves to fall into the abyss."

The God of Darkness strolled through the forest around him, his power masked as he hid underneath his deceptive mortal form. His eyes were soft with sadness as he actively searched for the Child of Destiny. What drew his attention was the steady rise of smoke amongst the trees out in the distance. He approached with a smirk before wiping it from his face and allowed fake tears to fall from his eyes. Serith was an actor, a very good one at that. He trembled with fear and held his arms together looking as though he was in some sort of shock. Alas he approached the small clearing where the smoke originated from. There was a small fire and he instantly recognized Nero's face. Soft gasps for air escaped his lips as he cried. Serith fell to his knees, clenching the grass before him with his fingers as the tears splattered against the ground.

"Please," he whispered desperately. "Help me!"

He quickly glanced up to see through his tears at the reaction of Nero. However, he saw Ryu and received a whiff of the scent of blood. For an extremely brief moment, Serith somewhat tensed and felt his mouth water smelling the blood off of Ryu. It emitted an unsettling energy from his mortal form. But, he quickly got a hold of himself and resumed to his tearful act with the strange energy subsiding as quickly as it submerged. He would befriend the two and travel with them. "I managed to escape," Serith cried while his body continued to quiver. "I have no place to run..."

Ryu Ookami. Brother of the Child of Light. This would be an interesting adventure. Serith's shuddering body could have very well been his excitement but instead it only came off as anxiety. The events he had executed would work in his favor. That is, if these two were as naive as he thought they were. He had to test the playground.

Zeporon had noticed his Master's entrance. While he still remained perched in the trees, he saw his Master's signal to retreat. Solus would take things over from here. With one last disturbing glare, Zeporon silently leaped towards the next tree at impeccable speed amongst the shadows. A brief rustling could be heard from his swift movements that could easily be mistaken for a squirrel. Before returning to the troops, he appeared before Zeporon and knelt before him showing his respect.

"Milord," Zeporon beckoned before meeting his Master's gaze. "They are headed east towards the shores. The Child is accompanied by a warrior. Though... he does not quite seem to be a typical fighter from what I've observed."

Zeporon pointed in the direction in which he came. His different shaded eyes flashed with excitement. Though his demeanor remained calm and emotionless as usual. He then took notice of Solus's disguise and he felt humorous. His Master was always such a cunning man. Though he pondered for a moment before asking, "Would you like to me follow, sir?"

Please, never lose what makes you precious.

Hiyoko flinched a bit as the man placed his large hand on her head. As he spoke she smiled but the more he spoke the more disturbed she became. Other children and necromancers. This was all quite a lo to take in for Hiyoko. Then he spoke, some words that bothered the girl a lot.

". . . From there we will find the Necromancers and hopefully destroy or turn them back to the light."

A single word echoed in her mind over and over. Destroy. Hiyoko turned sharply to face him, her small voice filled with emotion as she spoke.

"Why can't we do anything in this world without it involving suffering. . . Death and betrayals? Why can't we all just. . . "

The girl choked on tears as she spat out the rest.

"Why can't we all just get along?!"

Hiyoko's mind drifted back to her lovely grandmother. She hadn't been able to save her precious Nana. Hiyoko watched her bleed, she watched as a monster took her Nana away. Now her savior is speaking of destruction! What madness the world had fallen into. She wiped away her tears and softy muttered an apology before looking out from where they stood. Her bare feet in the grass, her hair blowing softly in the wind, even though she had come from that filthy place there was no muck or anything on her.

As she looked she spied a man in the distance, waving to them. Unsure of how to respond Hiyoko ducked behind Krein shaking slightly. He didn't seem evil but after today . . . She wasn't going to take any chances.

"Everything must end, to end is to find peace. "

" Drop the sword and stay where you are at I don't want to harm you but no one shall come near the young lady whom I am protecting."

Solus froze mid stride. Had he drawn his sword? His eyes went to the sword, clutched in his right hand and dropped it as if it had suddenly burst into flames. When had he done that?! Fear crept through the old necromancer as he suddenly questioned his sanity.

The back of his mind urged him on and used this strike of emotion to his advantage.
" I- I meant no harm, forgive me I thought I had put it away after the brawl." He answered in a near hysterical tone, the tone being fueled by true emotion. " I was worried about the young lady there, A stranger whisking away a child in a time of battle seemed rather strange kind sir, I had no knowledge that you protected the child."
This was going to prove difficult, with this man watching the child Solus would have to work harder to influence the child.
" Is the child alright?" he asked.
