Mikuru Asahina
Miku blinked, her bright eyes scanned the room before she rose from her bed and stretched letting out a small yawn. She shuffled over to her dresser where she picked up her comb and brushed her hair. The girl neatly parted it down the middle, and tied it to the sides where they hung low with ribbons keeping them in place. Miku didn't normally wake up this early but Christmas break was just around the corner so she wanted to try and make the best of each day and not show up late to class for once.

Her feet carried her over to her bathroom where she ook a quick shower, re-did her hair and got dressed in her school uniform. The pink haired girl then grabbed her books and hurried out the door, hoping not to be late to her class for once. Thirty seconds before the bell rang she rushed into the room and took a seat next to a kid she didn't know. She faintly remebered his name, something along the lines of Matt, she knew that much. Miku then slumped down in her seat, her eyes looking at board, eager to read the first few words.

In the one-person dorm room, everything was still dark. The curtains were still not draped to the side, but the sliver of sunlight that managed to pass through gave the place a peaceful feeling. But that soon will end. The alarm clock sounded its shrill ringing, awakening the room's occupant from its dreams.

Chio, the green-haired lass, had just returned after sleeping in her aunt and uncle's house to, once again, stand witness in a case concerning her father. Even after all these years... Sighing, the lady of the dorm rubbed her eyes and stood up from the comforts of her bed, trudged towards the bathroom and commenced her daily routine.

Despite her being an old student, she was rarely at school. So even she hadn't made a lot of friends, hadn't even memorized the faces of he fellow schoolmates, let alone the new ones. Issues after issues from her father had always been popping up out of nowhere and she has a responsibility to show up in each case. Hard thing when you need to show up in a place almst 5 hours away from here.

After donning her school uniform, she walked to her dresser of accessories and had let her fingers do the picking for her today. Ah, a choker for the day.. When she was done, she headed towards the small kitchen, grabbed a cup of cold chocolate, a thing she always brings to class and went out.

Once she had reached the classroom, she wasted no time in picking a random seat and had made herself comfortable, all the while sipping her cold drink. A peaceful aura emanated from her, whilst she took her notebook out and started scribbling. This was her first day. Again. After being gone for a whole month.

She hopes nothing would dampen her day now.

Chio was busy slurping down her cold chocolate drink whilst flipping the sheets of her notebook. Despite this, she wasn't actually reading. There weren't even notes on the pages! Sighing loudly and letting her head fall back, she swiveled her head towards the door of the class and blinked. The teacher wasn't even here yet and she was getting bored.

A bored Chio is a dangerous Chio.

She sighed again and looked at her nails, all the while whistling a tune until the sound of a door being opened and shut was heard. Curious as to who, she angled her head -still looking down- in a way that she can stare at the student that entered without looking rude; her green hair serving as curtains to her eyes. It was a habit Chio had gotten; people-watching that is. Sometimes in a not so discreet manner. 'Heh.'

It was a girl. With an expression similar to hers. She smirked at the girl, letting out an amused 'Hmph' and went to face directly ahead. She sipped her cold chocolate again and sneaked a glance at the clock.
