Appearance & personality| Miku has light pink hair that she usually has tied in two ponytails that hang low. She has red eyes that look hot pink in some lighting but blood red in others, there is never really an in between between the two colors. Her skin has a slight tan to it but its not a nice caramel tone, its an in between of caramel and slightly pale. Miku has a somewhat likable personality, she is a very happy person and up beat almost all the time. This doesn't stop her from getting angry quickly. This small bright eyed girl is someone you would not want to mess with when she's angry. She turns from a small, sweet, innocent girl to a nightmare in three seconds flat when angered.

History| Miku was born into a small family. One brother, her mom, her dad, and her. They raised her fairly well with manners, and some discipline but that didn't stop her from becoming the rule breaking child she is today. Miku use to get in trouble constantly because she refused to listen, she learned the hard way that when someone tells you to do something, you do it or suffer the consequences. Her grades weren't that great since she had an issue with paying attention to the teacher, and talking in class along with back talking and just simply being rude. Although she didn't mean to, she always sounded rude when talking to the teachers thus getting her in trouble even more. When she was 14 Miku was sent away to an all girls school that seemed more like a boot camp than a school. If something wasn't done right you got hit int he back of the calf's with a small whip but even though it was small, it still left welts and occasional scars. At the age of 16 she went to a different school, one that was much nicer and safer for her. Now it all matters on if she'll be brave and talk to someone, or stay in her dorm all year.

Tokyo, Japan || Okomori Academy || Dorm Room 102 || 7:15 AM || Dec. 20th

Matt awoke to the sound of his alarm. He sat up, taking a look around the room, breathing a sigh as he remembered the day he'd arrived at the fancy school.

Opening the door, Matthieu looked around his new home. The room was the size of a small apartment, with all the things you'd find in one, including a kitchen and decent sized bathroom. The dorm was fully furnished with everything he'd need and his books had already been paid for with his scholarship. "...now what?" He asked. The teacher behind him simply left, shutting the door behind her, and leaving 7 year-old Matt to figure out what to do next.

Matt fished around for his glasses and skipped them on, standing and heading over to the bathroom. He was clothed and groomed about 10 minutes later. The time was 7:30, which meant he had about a half hour before the other students started waking up, and he wanted to be as far from the dorms as possible when that happened. It wasn't necessarily the bullying that got to him. It was the people who simply watched it happen, who noticed it all but walked right on past and did nothing at all to help him. That was what he hated.

He slung his bag over his shoulder and slowly opened his door, trying to be as quiet as possible as he locked up his room and tiptoed his way out of the dorms. Luckily enough, no one else was awake yet, except a few teachers and the rest of the Student Council. It was almost 8 by the time he made it to the Student Council room. Phew... He took a seat at his desk and sighed at the stacks of paper in front of him. Most were sign up forms for the upcoming Club Fair, others were student complaints, and the leftover 1% were personal threats.

Matthieu spent the remaining 40 minutes going through a portion of the papers, throwing away those that weren't relevant. When the warning bell rang he was snapped out of his orderly trance and made his way to class, gleefully making it there on time without any complications from his classmates. The halls were filled with students and no one even paid him a glance. That was the one thing about Matt: no one ever seemed to notice him.

Not that he minded.

Aiko Kaine

Kaine blinks once, twice, three times. Slowly, he lifts his head a few inches from the pillow. He squints at the blinking green numbers on his clock and sighs. 8:30. He's running out of time. He drops his head to the pillow, yawning, and a moment later slips out of his bed, taking his sheets with him. He clambers to his feet and wades a shuffling path to the bathroom.

In a few moments, the boy is showered and dressed, his fluffy black hair dripping all over a horribly untidy uniform. His jacket is buttoned wrong and he generally looks silly but he doesn't seem to care, grabbing his books from where he left them at the end of the previous day and heading, still dripping wet and mostly asleep, toward his class.

It's a good day for him.

Mikuru Asahina
Miku blinked, her bright eyes scanned the room before she rose from her bed and stretched letting out a small yawn. She shuffled over to her dresser where she picked up her comb and brushed her hair. The girl neatly parted it down the middle, and tied it to the sides where they hung low with ribbons keeping them in place. Miku didn't normally wake up this early but Christmas break was just around the corner so she wanted to try and make the best of each day and not show up late to class for once.

Her feet carried her over to her bathroom where she ook a quick shower, re-did her hair and got dressed in her school uniform. The pink haired girl then grabbed her books and hurried out the door, hoping not to be late to her class for once. Thirty seconds before the bell rang she rushed into the room and took a seat next to a kid she didn't know. She faintly remebered his name, something along the lines of Matt, she knew that much. Miku then slumped down in her seat, her eyes looking at board, eager to read the first few words.

In the one-person dorm room, everything was still dark. The curtains were still not draped to the side, but the sliver of sunlight that managed to pass through gave the place a peaceful feeling. But that soon will end. The alarm clock sounded its shrill ringing, awakening the room's occupant from its dreams.

Chio, the green-haired lass, had just returned after sleeping in her aunt and uncle's house to, once again, stand witness in a case concerning her father. Even after all these years... Sighing, the lady of the dorm rubbed her eyes and stood up from the comforts of her bed, trudged towards the bathroom and commenced her daily routine.

Despite her being an old student, she was rarely at school. So even she hadn't made a lot of friends, hadn't even memorized the faces of he fellow schoolmates, let alone the new ones. Issues after issues from her father had always been popping up out of nowhere and she has a responsibility to show up in each case. Hard thing when you need to show up in a place almst 5 hours away from here.

After donning her school uniform, she walked to her dresser of accessories and had let her fingers do the picking for her today. Ah, a choker for the day.. When she was done, she headed towards the small kitchen, grabbed a cup of cold chocolate, a thing she always brings to class and went out.

Once she had reached the classroom, she wasted no time in picking a random seat and had made herself comfortable, all the while sipping her cold drink. A peaceful aura emanated from her, whilst she took her notebook out and started scribbling. This was her first day. Again. After being gone for a whole month.

She hopes nothing would dampen her day now.

“I hate mornings.” Shino whispered to herself, her head resting on her pillow. Her eyes were locked on a certain spot on her ceiling. There was nothing special about this spot in particular, she just couldn’t seem to rip her gaze away. Perhaps it was just the exhaustion? She hadn’t gotten that much sleep last night. Maybe it had to do with the fact that this was the last day before vacation started? Vacation, even though she was going to be stuck at the school, sounded very nice. She could spend hours on end in her dorm playing video games… That sounded relaxing beyond belief.
However, school was still going on. She had to remain in tip top condition. Well, at least in the eyes of others. Deep down, Shino knew she was far from perfect. No one was perfect, so she shouldn’t feel bad about it… Right?

A patch of sun leaked through her shades, hitting her eyes. She winced and rolled over, practically leaping out of her skin when the sound of some sort of controller hit the ground. After a good amount of grumbling and mumbling, Shino got up, got dressed, did her hair, and brushed her teeth. She grabbed her things and left her dorm, shutting and locking the door behind her.

Shino was used to the whispering that ensued once she entered the halls. She gripped the strap of her bag, clenched her teeth, and continued walking along trying to ignore the whispering even though she felt like the smallest person in the world. She walked into the room, her shoulders square and her head held high like usual. She took her seat, got her things ready, and waited for class.

Chio was busy slurping down her cold chocolate drink whilst flipping the sheets of her notebook. Despite this, she wasn't actually reading. There weren't even notes on the pages! Sighing loudly and letting her head fall back, she swiveled her head towards the door of the class and blinked. The teacher wasn't even here yet and she was getting bored.

A bored Chio is a dangerous Chio.

She sighed again and looked at her nails, all the while whistling a tune until the sound of a door being opened and shut was heard. Curious as to who, she angled her head -still looking down- in a way that she can stare at the student that entered without looking rude; her green hair serving as curtains to her eyes. It was a habit Chio had gotten; people-watching that is. Sometimes in a not so discreet manner. 'Heh.'

It was a girl. With an expression similar to hers. She smirked at the girl, letting out an amused 'Hmph' and went to face directly ahead. She sipped her cold chocolate again and sneaked a glance at the clock.

Waking up was never something Ai looked forward to. The loving sheets on the silky white bed, the soft-as-cloud pillows and the warmth of the blankets that surrounded her small form was more welcoming that what any person could ever give her. To leave this little home, a warm and safe place where she actually felt protected, was like stepping out in a snowstorm while wearing a bikini. Needless to say it was not pleasant.

"Dammit..." she mumbled, shivering in her raggedy pajama's. This fancy school she attended was always as cold as ice on winter mornings like this. She hated it. She hated the cold, she hated the snow, and she hated this school. So many people went to this place. Blocking them out never worked, the whispered and comments she received, always so annoying and hurtful. After all these years, and all the comments. So damn hurtful.

School awaited. Ai pulled on her uniform, and hugged her skinny arms around her small torso. The walk though the hallway she saw, people trampling over one another, whispering to themselves and spreading gossip. Typical. She kept her head down, caramel hair falling into her eyes so she would have to look at any person.

The light of the classroom hit her full force like a flashlight shinned into her amber orbs. Ai grumbled. This day was getting to a great start, and would only just get better. This was sarcasm, of coarse.

Her seat where she sat everyday waited for her patiently. The seat in the corner of the room, the only person who sat around her was a fairly pretty girl, a year older than Ai, with long black hair and stormy grey eyes. She was taller that Ai, but then again, everyone was.

And so she waited patiently for everyone to pour in, silently praying for the day to be over quickly.

Tokyo, Japan || Okomori Academy || Class 1-A || 8:10 AM || Dec. 20th

Matthieu sat through class, paying thorough attention to the teacher and taking detailed notes on everything the man said. He'd never been one to slack off in school and he knew that doing good in school would get a scholarship that could help his family money-wise in the future. He wasn't expected to be good at it like a lot of other students. He hadn't been sent to the school by his rich and powerful family. He was there because of pulled strings, a coincidence, and he wasn't about to ruin it all. He ignored his classmates as the class passed him by.

Around the middle of class, the teacher received a phone call and headed out to the Principal's office for one reason or another, telling the class to stay put and study for the upcoming finals. Matt sat back in his chair and started to read over his notes. He wouldn't have even noticed the girl sitting next to him if it hadn't been for the paper ball that bounced off her head onto the floor between them. "Sorry, that was supposed to hit the nerd next to you~" Some of the other kids in the room snickered, trying to make up for the bullying they'd missed out on that morning.

Matthieu ignored them and continued reading, stuffing his nose in the book to hide his embarrassment. He still tried to hide the bullying, even though everyone knew, and it was when they were obvious about it that he felt the most vulnerable. He'd been receiving comments, notes, and other forms of bullying ever since his first few days at the prestigious school. Everyone knew about it, yet no one did a single thing to help him. Never. By now Matthieu didn't even care about it.

I mean, if no one else does, why should he?

Miku left the room long before the class had ended, but after she had said something to the bullies.

Miku looked over to the bullies, then at the boy who they had tried to throw the ball of paper at but failed. "I'm sorry, but...I don't see a nerd, the girl paused fora brief second before looking back at the group, "I only see someone who has a higher intellectual level than you will probably /ever/ have." with those words being said she grabbed her books and exited the classroom.

The girl was now lined up with everyone else's time for classes. After only being in her first class for an hour she started roaming the school grounds careful not to get caught. If she got caught again she would be kicked out of the school for good, not just for the occasional week or month she usually missed. Wandering the halls got boring after the last class of the day so she headed back to the dorms, or at least attempted to. She stopped when she noticed the boy from earlier with someone she had seen around but not spoken to. If she remebered correctly he was the one girls on her hall would whisper and giggle about whenever they saw him. "Matthieu, correct?" she looked at the light haired boy then up at the dark haired one, "If I knew your name, I would give a proper greeting. But, I don't. So my apologies. Hello anyways. Miku then turned back to the boy who was leaning against the door way, waiting to see if she hd gotten his name right.

Tokyo, Japan || Okomori Academy || Student Council Room || 4:48 PM || Dec. 20th

Matt flinched when he heard someone talk to him, looking up at the person slowly, only to find that it was the same boy from his class that he'd been so eager to stop thinking about. "Huh? Oh! Uh, yeah...lost..." Matt did his best to hide that the key had been stolen from him. No one needed to know. "I don't really have any reason to go in, so I don't have a reason to go get a spare." Matthieu stuck his nose back to his paperwork, writing in flowing strokes.

Matt flinched again when yet another voice popped up, this time a girl's. He turned to find the girl who'd been sitting beside him that morning. He only really remembered because the paper ball that had been directed towards him that morning had hit her on accident. "I forgot to tell you sorry...about the paper ball this morning." He felt bad that the endless bullyigng had involved someone other than himself, until recently he'd been the only one that was ever bullied. That he knew of, at least.

He didn't really know what was going on, but for the second or third time that afternoon, the trio of teenage boys passed by his room. This time they were running. Matthieu was hardly able to duck as his keys were tossed at his face, the boys snickering loudly as they ran off to catch the shuttle that was headed to the airport. He stumbled to gather his things and stood quickly, unlocking his door in an embarrassed rush.

"Thanks for stopping by, but I have paperwork to finish, maybe we can talk later." Matt barely finished the sentence before disappearing inside his room and shutting the door behind him.

Aiko Kaine

Aiko opens his mouth to speak to the other boy only to be interrupted by another voice. He turns, tilting his head at the new pink haired figure. He lifts his hand in greeting, though it clearly seems she's addressing the other boy more than himself, and tries not to make too much of a third wheel out of himself. When the boys pass by, he cringes visibly and turns to glare after them. Again, he tries to speak, but is interrupted by the boy, the girl had called him Matthieu, going inside the door.

He'd noticed something being thrown, he'd assumed it was just something stupid but the thing must have been his dorm key because now Matthieu was closing the door on him.

"Thanks for stopping by, but I have paperwork to finish, maybe we can talk later."

Kaine blinks, trying to wrap his ever sleepy mind around what just happened. He lifts his hand to knock on the door but realizes there's probably no point to it; if Matthieu wants to be alone, he can't really do anything about it...

He turns around, leaning on the dorm door, and sets his eyes on the pink haired girl. "Kaine." He offers sheepishly. "My name is Kaine."
