"If you say so..." he replied dubiously. "Come on, where do you live? I'll take you home..."

He had started them down the road when a sudden feeling twisted his gut, and he stopped suddenly. "Do you... feel that?" he asked, a slight look of confusion taking up residence on his countenance. Something was very, very wrong, and he wasn't exactly sure how he knew that. ... the Hell?
Someone shouted something, loud enough that it rang in his ears, so loud as to be incomprehensible, and he clamped his hands over them, turning around to see where it had come from. A figure was rapidly emerging from the darkness, though he could not make out what it was, it smacked of danger. "Hey, Bailey? Can you run? If you can, start running now, and don't look back." He knew he was faster than she was, so he wanted her to hav a hed start. Maybe he'd be able to slow down whatever was coming at them.
Somehow, he didn't think so, but he had to try anyway.

"Lucifer, you've done enough for tonight."
Satan's thoughts shattered when he heard that powerful, deep voice right in front of him. He had heard it so many times before, and each time he did it brought up so many memories.
"You are no longer accepted in my Heaven, Lucifer. Leave at once."
"But your way is WRONG! Sinners must be PUNISHED!"
"I will decide what I believe is true, Lucifer. Now go."
"You can't do this to me! I'll never- AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Lucifer's shoulders still hurt from where his wings were ripped off, several eons ago. God's appearance in front of him only made it worse.

"Some things never change, do they, Lucifer?" God asked the fallen angel quietly as a true angel ran flew rapidly towards Jack Klein and Bailey Rivers.

He was in the process of forcing his feet to move when two other people appeared, literally out of nowhere. One of them was really, really hard to look at for any sustained length of time, and the other one he didn't want to see, because he was fairly certain those were wings, and just why the Hell had the circus decided to come into town today anyway?
"Uh, hello!" he calls to all three, not able to keep the hint of irritation out of his tone. "someone want to tell me what's going on here?" He was of a mind to just go home, but something told him that might not be the best idea.

Never one to obey instructions, Jack did indeed look down, and was struck by the feeling that no, it wasn't quite the same as being in an airplane when one was flying without the containment of a metal shell. He gulped, but otherwise wasn't all that afraid. Actually, unless the... angel (he supposed that was the best word) dropped them, he'd be fine.

Soon, her vision was blurred and everything turned a foggy white, at least until her mind went black.
