Civilisations

Civilisations

0 INK

Great civilisations have risen and fallen throughout time. Now, you take control of a small tribe, hoping to one day rule over an empire.

4,659 readers have visited Civilisations since Wright Arcdeo created it.

Introduction

It's the beginning of humanity as we know it. The first few tribes have started to form. You take control of one of them, starting in the stone age. You have one small village, of about 100 people, and of course have stone age technology. You can advance through the ages realistically, and can even get to the space age and colonise the moon and the rest of the solar system.

You can start off in Africa, Europe, or Asia, and can choose your immediate surroundings (like near a mountain, or a river).

Your tribe should also have its own distinct culture, which can include whether its members are peaceful or not, and its beliefs.

Your 'character' profile should include the following:
Name (of tribe):
Continent:
Surroundings:
Personality (of members):
Beliefs/Religion:

8) Be sure to tag only the 'characters' you actually mention
9) If you join, be sure to post
10) Be calm and reasonable

Trade begins between the two tribes, and the population is happy. The contractions are progressing steadily, and many people are now working to build the new structures. Meanwhile, the exploration/settlement party continues working on the map of the area. It is now almost finished. When it is done, they will have detailed knowledge of much of the local and even distant geography. Much of their beliefs are being written down now.

Some geographers went outside of the village and explored the surroundings. A Library was being built and people can write books and get it to be in the Library. Librarians were also trained. A new map, consisting of the nearby tribes and more far, will be constructed and be completed soon. Also a new type of wall, called the Riaw, was being constructed. This Riaw was made with copper and cobblestone. Also archers will be on guard on the village.
