The Windals's Story

Civilization: The Oda Clan

Tech level: early Iron Age.
Current Oda Military strength: 680 Foot soldiers 35 Shinobi assassins 25 Royal Samurai 150 horsemen.

The Oda have gone through what could be called a golden age. After the discovery of iron, all of the swords used by the Royal Samurai were replaced with newer, better designed "Katanas" Iron swords of high craftsmanship and quality and with the samurais training, it makes these swords extremely deadly. On top of that, they have had a population boom, and thus have expanded their reach to the entire island of Honshu and started to fortify the island it self. Edo, the capital city, has not become a small harbor that can facilitate the Odas small fleet of small fishing ships. The Empress, after her fathers death, has shown her self to be a capable leader in all aspects but one: Warfare. Thus, the Oda empress orders a new decree: Ever able body man shall serve two (2) years in the empresses army. Thus, a new dawn of Oda military might begins...
